- 0:58Speaker 2: Let's give in to this topic. You post it on
- 1:00Speaker 2: Instagram that a recession is coming hot take, can you
- 1:04Speaker 2: please elaborate on that.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Yes, this will go into the files of Oh my god,
- 1:09Speaker 3: I don't think Ian is right, and then when it
- 1:10Speaker 3: happens we can catalog it so between you having a
- 1:13Speaker 3: World War three potentially right now, a flattening you'll curve
- 1:19Speaker 3: a week job market. And now, people in any market
- 1:23Speaker 3: don't like when things are not stable or safe, so
- 1:26Speaker 3: please write write that down. The market has the highest
- 1:29Speaker 3: probability of going up when they're a safety in the market.
- 1:32Speaker 3: And now, because the entire world is now teaming up
- 1:35Speaker 3: against Russia, and then China came in at the last
- 1:38Speaker 3: minute with the union pay to allow them to be
- 1:41Speaker 3: back on a payment platform. This is getting really scary.
- 1:45Speaker 3: This looks like a movie where I'm waiting for the
- 1:46Speaker 3: rock to come in and save it and be like, hey,
- 1:48Speaker 3: everything's gonna be fine. He's gonna choke out putin game
- 1:51Speaker 3: over it. We are entering scary times. So anytime, and
- 1:55Speaker 3: I know some of you are going to be like, hey,
- 1:56Speaker 3: we need two consecutive quarters of GDP lacking true, but
- 2:01Speaker 3: that is a lagging indicator of when it happens, so
- 2:05Speaker 3: a lot of times. If for those you remember two
- 2:07Speaker 3: thousand and seven and two thousand and eight when gas
- 2:09Speaker 3: prices shot up like crazy and the job market weekend,
- 2:13Speaker 3: you can feel it before we got there that something
- 2:16Speaker 3: was really wrong. And we're back in that space again.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I told you guys last year. If NFTs are going up,
- 2:21Speaker 3: options are going up, Companies that are not that great
- 2:24Speaker 3: are going up double. They are allowing you to get
- 2:27Speaker 3: money last year to prepare for the winter that may
- 2:31Speaker 3: come for two or three years, and then we're going
- 2:33Speaker 3: to have another one inside of twenty seven. Please be
- 2:36Speaker 3: very careful. I know this is something that we don't
- 2:38Speaker 3: want to hear, but what to do. Always tell every creator,
- 2:41Speaker 3: every business person, focus on growing your business and invest
- 2:45Speaker 3: at the same time, build your base. It's a great
- 2:47Speaker 3: time to build a base and you'll be good. Will
- 2:49Speaker 3: it be scary as hell? Yes, but it looks like
- 2:52Speaker 3: a recession is coming if they do not get this
- 2:54Speaker 3: Russia situation handled very quickly.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Talk about the China situation what you had, You talked
- 3:01Speaker 2: about it briefly, but can you elaborate on that.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I mean, now we're entering a season where the wars
- 3:07Speaker 3: that are fought are economic wars of terrorism. So now
- 3:11Speaker 3: visas visa massacred Apple cut off the payment flow for Russia, right,
- 3:19Speaker 3: and then China comes in and says, hey, you can
- 3:21Speaker 3: use union pay. So before when China was being quiet
- 3:26Speaker 3: on their perspective, on what they should do with their
- 3:28Speaker 3: ally to Russia or not. You always need to follow
- 3:31Speaker 3: the money trail. So if they are now an ally
- 3:35Speaker 3: shout out to ally to Russia, what does that mean.
- 3:39Speaker 3: It goes back to my theory that I've been saying forever.
- 3:41Speaker 3: If they team up, it could be disastrous. Now, I
- 3:43Speaker 3: think the strategy that the rest of the world took
- 3:46Speaker 3: was brilliant because the new wars are not going to
- 3:49Speaker 3: be fought with bombs and muscles. They will be fought bad.
- 3:53Speaker 3: They will be fought financially. And this is why crypto
- 3:58Speaker 3: is incredibly important. I know you guys were saying before, Hey,
- 4:00Speaker 3: b Talic is not going to chime in. You need
- 4:03Speaker 3: to go look and see what cryptocurrencies are backing Russia. Silently. Yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 3: not going to say the Ethereum is one of them, but
- 4:12Speaker 3: you should go look and coinbase it. They won't take
- 4:14Speaker 3: Russia off of their platform as well. You have to
- 4:16Speaker 3: be very mindful what people are hiding this money and
- 4:18Speaker 3: what those allegiances and tithes.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Maybe I think that's the interesting one. I mean, you
- 4:22Speaker 4: touched on a bunch of things and so like really quickly.
- 4:24Speaker 4: So the visa and massacart band. It was like, obviously,
- 4:27Speaker 4: this is obviously a payment processing company and so that's American, right,
- 4:31Speaker 4: But they said that the domestic transactions can still happen,
- 4:35Speaker 4: so if they're inside of Russia they can still use it.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Obviously internationally you can't use it anymore. They're just think
- 4:40Speaker 4: things like what you said with that China Union pay.
- 4:41Speaker 4: It was like, wait, this is the country obviously that
- 4:44Speaker 4: we've been speaking about, that has been tied to them
- 4:46Speaker 4: for so long, stepping up to the bat when they
- 4:48Speaker 4: needed them. I think the crypto piece is very interesting though,
- 4:51Speaker 4: because if you look at it, people are saying, hey, Coinbase,
- 4:55Speaker 4: Hey Finance, you should restrict the amount of crypto that's
- 4:58Speaker 4: allowed in Russia. That kind of defeats the purpose of cryptocurrency,
- 5:02Speaker 4: and so it's like double, what are you supposed to do.
- 5:04Speaker 4: You can't cut them off because obviously the blockchain technology
- 5:08Speaker 4: doesn't use it, but the people want now to use
- 5:10Speaker 4: bitcoin as a thing, like hey, we're going to stop it.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Last week we talked about how people were funding and
- 5:15Speaker 4: sending money to Ukraine through cryptocurrency. But the other end
- 5:19Speaker 4: of is that is that it might be people that
- 5:20Speaker 4: could be sending money to Russia the same way, right,
- 5:22Speaker 4: so you can't really ban it. So it's an interesting time,
- 5:26Speaker 4: man Like right now, watching all this is really really
- 5:29Speaker 4: really intriguing, and we should be paying attention to these
- 5:31Speaker 4: little things. I'm glad that he brought up that China
- 5:34Speaker 4: Union bass. This episode is brought to you by P

- 7:53Speaker 5: Investing in America.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Situation because that was kind of like a one minute article.
- 7:59Speaker 4: That's a very big pieces.
- 8:00Speaker 2: It's a very interesting time that we're in right now.
- 8:02Speaker 2: And shout out to my bro Dave Gross. I had
- 8:05Speaker 2: like an hour and a half conversation with him yesterday.
- 8:07Speaker 2: If anybody doesn't know who Dave Gross is that he's
- 8:09Speaker 2: an extremely successful businessman, used to work on Wall Street
- 8:12Speaker 2: for twenty years. But you might know him from being
- 8:15Speaker 2: Nipsey Hustle's business partner. He was the guy you see
- 8:18Speaker 2: with Nipsey Hustle all the time who was, you know,
- 8:21Speaker 2: really educating nip on a lot of things, especially on
- 8:23Speaker 2: the real estate side. So I was speaking to him
- 8:26Speaker 2: and he was saying, like, you know, there's a shortage
- 8:29Speaker 2: of investments out there, like where people can really put
- 8:31Speaker 2: their money. And he was like, you know, you don't
- 8:33Speaker 2: know how many people hit me up and starting these
- 8:36Speaker 2: these funds to buy artists music, like artists catalogs because
- 8:40Speaker 2: there's not a lot of place to get good returns
- 8:42Speaker 2: on your investment right now, So people was looking at
- 8:44Speaker 2: all kinds of alternative ways to invest money and like
- 8:47Speaker 2: musical catalogs. This is where the NFT thing comes into play.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Real estate is already you know, way over valued, stock market,
- 8:55Speaker 2: you know, is in trouble right now, cryptocurrency has been falling.
- 8:59Speaker 2: So it's a very inter it's an interesting space right now.
- 9:01Speaker 2: And it's also this is another conversation but goes back
- 9:05Speaker 2: to like evaluations on companies. People are looking to buy
- 9:07Speaker 2: companies and stuff like that. People just looking to spend
- 9:09Speaker 2: money on things that they can get a good return
- 9:12Speaker 2: on their investment on because it's not easy to get
- 9:15Speaker 2: a good return on investment, especially larger, large sums of money.
- 9:18Speaker 2: So it's interesting times that way in and this this
- 9:24Speaker 2: Russia Ukraine situation doesn't look like it's going to be
- 9:28Speaker 2: over anytime soon, even though they put a lot of
- 9:32Speaker 2: pressure on Russia's economy, on the oligarchs and it's being felt.
- 9:38Speaker 2: But you know, Putin is he's still you know, playing
- 9:43Speaker 2: the game to win. So we'll just have to wait
- 9:45Speaker 2: and see what happens. But if China gets more involved,
- 9:47Speaker 2: then that's going to give them more time. Like if
- 9:49Speaker 2: China just would be not involved at all. I think
- 9:52Speaker 2: it will be over pretty quickly fast. As long as
- 9:55Speaker 2: China keeps giving them lifelines, they're always going to be
- 9:58Speaker 2: in the game.
- 9:59Speaker 4: And one of things we talked about and speaking of
- 10:01Speaker 4: where people can invest the money, and we spoke about
- 10:02Speaker 4: it last week was commodities. And literally like when when
- 10:06Speaker 4: when Jess was on shout out to Jess when she
- 10:07Speaker 4: was like, yo, oil is going to one twenty, And
- 10:10Speaker 4: when she texted me last night like it's at one forty,
- 10:13Speaker 4: I'm like, wow, give me. We said it, and then
- 10:15Speaker 4: I asked her repeated just to make sure, and yeah
- 10:17Speaker 4: she did. But also Nickel, did you see nickeltoon all
- 10:21Speaker 4: time high for nickel commodity. I remember going to see
- 10:24Speaker 4: Robert Kiyosaki in like two thousand and seven. Uh, he
- 10:27Speaker 4: was had a speech in a seminar in New York
- 10:30Speaker 4: City and all the whole seminar was about Nickel. That's
- 10:33Speaker 4: all he was talking about, Like you should invest in
- 10:35Speaker 4: the Nickel investor, Nickel investor Nickel because everybody was already
- 10:38Speaker 4: invested in gold as a commodity, and he was like,
- 10:40Speaker 4: your Nickels the next thing, and so to see it
- 10:42Speaker 4: hit an all time hogh. Today, I was just like, man,
- 10:44Speaker 4: this is this is pretty it's pretty interesting. And we
- 10:47Speaker 4: spoke about it, like literally when we spoke about the Monday.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I watched some of the news outlets Tuesday. Everybody's talking
- 10:52Speaker 4: about commodities.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Absolutely and copy Jess. I want to be very clear
- 10:56Speaker 3: because no one was calling that shout out to jests.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Let's so when we're telling you guys these pieces of information,
- 11:04Speaker 3: please use them to your advantage. And even with Nickel,
- 11:06Speaker 3: going back to your point, when Kyosaki was doing those
- 11:08Speaker 3: tours and money master the game, one of Kyle Bassett's
- 11:12Speaker 3: favorite strategies. If he could, he will put every dollar
- 11:14Speaker 3: that he could into Nickel. So you have to have
- 11:19Speaker 3: the right kind of diversification. And true diversification isn't retail oil,
- 11:24Speaker 3: gold crew, ev tech diversification truly, like when you talk
- 11:30Speaker 3: to people inside of hedge funds or family offices, is
- 11:33Speaker 3: to make sure that no matter what happens with your portfolio,
- 11:36Speaker 3: that you are positive. And Ray Dallio tapped on it
- 11:40Speaker 3: a little bit with all Weather strategy. That's not the
- 11:42Speaker 3: real strategy that they use it at his firm. But
- 11:46Speaker 3: you have to make sure even if the world falls apart,
- 11:49Speaker 3: that you're able to print and produce money and going
- 11:51Speaker 3: back to your partner, shot capital allocators have to put
- 11:54Speaker 3: money to use regardless, so they can't just sit on
- 11:58Speaker 3: five hundred million, three billion, fourteen billion dollars. They have
- 12:01Speaker 3: to put the money somewhere. You guys have to continue
- 12:03Speaker 3: to look. And that's why I always tell you look
- 12:05Speaker 3: at every asset class top to bottom. There is a
- 12:08Speaker 3: market somewhere that is going to boom a sometimes sometimes
- 12:10Speaker 3: if you find it.
- 12:13Speaker 2: My graduate from my school being forced bad drop bags,
