- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know. I've good morning, just
- 0:03Speaker 1: starting things up on this Tuesday morning. Thank you for
- 0:06Speaker 1: being here starting your day with us. Much appreciated. Ricky
- 0:08Speaker 1: Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:10Speaker 2: They're gonna start charging you at the airport if you
- 0:12Speaker 2: don't have a real ID, so you're gonna face a
- 0:15Speaker 2: fee of forty five dollars starting in February.
- 0:17Speaker 3: So February first is when this goes into effect.
- 0:19Speaker 2: If you don't have a real ID and you still
- 0:21Speaker 2: plan to fly, so you're traveling without a real ID,
- 0:24Speaker 2: you have to go online to TSA dot gov. You
- 0:26Speaker 2: follow the instructions to verify your identity. You pay the
- 0:29Speaker 2: forty five dollars fee, which they say is going to
- 0:32Speaker 2: cover the administrative and it costs associated with the ID
- 0:36Speaker 2: verification program that you then submit your stuff to. So
- 0:40Speaker 2: they want to make sure that travelers and taxpayers aren't
- 0:42Speaker 2: going to pay for that fee, but you personally will.
- 0:44Speaker 2: They also warrant that even after this process, there's no
- 0:47Speaker 2: guarantee that you'll be cleared to cross through.
- 0:50Speaker 3: The security point.
- 0:51Speaker 2: So there is another option if you don't have a
- 0:53Speaker 2: real ID, but just get the real ID as soon
- 0:57Speaker 2: as you possibly can. I know that it's annoying and
- 0:59Speaker 2: it can be frustrating, and I know that certain places
- 1:02Speaker 2: only do real ideas. I guess like not every single
- 1:05Speaker 2: place will do them, But just go make the time
- 1:08Speaker 2: to do it so you don't have to worry about
- 1:09Speaker 2: it ever. Again, it's gonna be the simple and easiest
- 1:12Speaker 2: way to do it. The balls are coming back to
- 1:14Speaker 2: Nashville for the Music City Bowl, So Tennessee is gonna
- 1:17Speaker 2: play Illinois in a December thirtieth.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Game at Nissan Stadium.
- 1:21Speaker 2: This is the twenty seventh year of the Music City Bowl,
- 1:24Speaker 2: which has really turned into like a big holiday tradition at.
- 1:27Speaker 3: This point here in Nashville.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It's one of the city's busiest tourism periods, so this
- 1:32Speaker 2: is going to be a big one. And the Missouri
- 1:34Speaker 2: Tigers defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes and last year's matchup. I
- 1:38Speaker 2: guess we'll see what happens this year. If you're wondering
- 1:41Speaker 2: about Vandy, they accepted an invitation to the Relyaquest Bowl
- 1:45Speaker 2: against Iowa on the thirty first, and Buddy's Elf costumes
- 1:49Speaker 2: sold at auction for a crazy amount of money. Do
- 1:53Speaker 2: you have a guest, Kevin? How much it went for god.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I mean, keep this in.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Mind, there's only a handful of originals that were ever made,
- 2:00Speaker 2: so that kind of drives the price up of what
- 2:02Speaker 2: this would.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Be five hundred thousand dollars.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You're close three hundred thousand. Someone paid three hundred thousand
- 2:09Speaker 2: dollars for Buddy the ELF's costume at auction.
- 2:12Speaker 3: So somebody who clearly.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Either really loves Will Ferrell or Christmas or the.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Movie to spend that kind of money. But yeah, kind
- 2:19Speaker 3: of great. I don't even what what would I even
- 2:20Speaker 3: do with three hundred thousand dollars?
- 2:22Speaker 2: I don't even knows.
- 2:25Speaker 3: And those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Some people have way too much money. That's got good back, President,
- 2:30Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky, appreciate it. We'll planing. Pick your package
- 2:33Speaker 1: in a few minutes. Here, man, these packages are dwindling.
- 2:36Speaker 1: There are eight things left under our tree. Come get yours.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I will ask you to call in exactly six minutes.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Hang tight, it's the river. Pick your package on the river.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It's very exciting. Another round, pick your package. Let's say
- 2:52Speaker 1: hello to Austin and Gallaton. What's up, buddy, Hey good man,
- 2:57Speaker 1: what are you up to? You anyway to work?
- 2:59Speaker 3: Actually got home from work. Oh okay, so you do
- 3:02Speaker 3: the night shift, yes, ma'am. Okay, so you have to
- 3:04Speaker 3: be sleepy at this point. But are you psyched to
- 3:07Speaker 3: play pick your package?
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Then you know how it works, right.
- 3:10Speaker 2: You have to pick a number one through thirty two.
- 3:12Speaker 2: A bunch of these packages were already picked. So hopefully
- 3:14Speaker 2: you're up to date and you don't pick a package
- 3:16Speaker 2: that was previously picked, because then your turn is over.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But if you pick a package that wasn't picked, you
- 3:22Speaker 2: have the decision, big, hard decision to make of whether
- 3:24Speaker 2: you want to put it back.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Or keep it.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Okay, number between one and thirty two, Austin, what's it
- 3:29Speaker 1: gonna be?
- 3:32Speaker 4: Let's go with number four.
- 3:33Speaker 1: We're still here, Okay, Ricky's grabbing that ripping it out.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Man four is a lark self cleaning water bottle.
- 3:44Speaker 4: I think them put that one back the water bottle.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Okay, I mean it is cool, it cleans itself.
- 3:51Speaker 2: All right. What's the other number you want to pick, Austin,
- 3:55Speaker 2: Let's go with number three.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Number three is also still here. It's not very.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Big A bacon air freshener. Yeah, Austin, I mean I know,
- 4:09Speaker 2: it's probably not what you were expecting, but hey, it's
- 4:11Speaker 2: a free air freshener. Bacon smells delightful, all right, that's
- 4:14Speaker 2: COO appreciated.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, man, it's better than nothing. You got something, So congratulations.
- 4:19Speaker 1: We're gonna put you out hold so we can get
- 4:20Speaker 1: your information so we can get you this bacon air freshener.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yes, sir, thank you, of course, thank you for hanging
- 4:25Speaker 2: out with us, Austin and for.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Playing the game.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I respect Austin for accepting that graciously. Like I can
- 4:31Speaker 1: see a lot of people kind of screaming, are throwing
- 4:33Speaker 1: their phone across the room or something.
- 4:34Speaker 2: But now you know what's in three and four though,
- 4:36Speaker 2: if you're playing along, Yeah, three's gone, but four is
- 4:39Speaker 2: that self cleaning water bottle.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Be here at nine to twenty for your next chance
- 4:42Speaker 1: to play the game.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Wake up happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno in the
- 4:47Speaker 5: morning on the River.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Pack is out today. It's Kevin and Ricky hanging and
- 4:51Speaker 1: Ricky famously are grinch around here. But I swear this
- 4:57Speaker 1: year that spirit of Christmas is in her because she's
- 5:01Speaker 1: she's about to do something sweet and wholesome. I mean,
- 5:03Speaker 1: she's just down you're embracing it.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Calm down, Okay.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Something sweet and wholesome happened to me over the weekend
- 5:09Speaker 2: that I just feel like it's important to share because
- 5:11Speaker 2: it's very easy to get caught up in just the
- 5:13Speaker 2: monotony of the day and all of the insanity happening
- 5:17Speaker 2: around us, and I just want to remind you that
- 5:19Speaker 2: there are really good people out there. I went to
- 5:22Speaker 2: Patti Wax Candles, my favorite candles. Yeah, they do a
- 5:26Speaker 2: warehouse sale every so often, so over the weekend I
- 5:28Speaker 2: went to the warehouse sale with my fiance because we
- 5:31Speaker 2: both love candles, and we were like, heck, yeah, can't
- 5:34Speaker 2: wait to go check out all these candles on discount.
- 5:37Speaker 2: We ended up being able to like fill an entire
- 5:39Speaker 2: big box with candles and stuff like that for fifty bucks,
- 5:43Speaker 2: which is like, yeah, it's kind of still on the
- 5:46Speaker 2: DL Not a lot of people know about it. That's
- 5:48Speaker 2: why I'm like, please don't ruin it for everybody else.
- 5:50Speaker 1: If you go, they do, go somewhere else and get
- 5:52Speaker 1: one nice candle for fifty bucks exactly.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So if you like good candles, follow Patti Wax on Instagram.
- 5:58Speaker 3: They'll post about it.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Butide that we were there, and we were looking through
- 6:02Speaker 2: all the stuff. And it's a warehouse, right, so you
- 6:04Speaker 2: got to open up boxes and you're just kind of
- 6:05Speaker 2: fending for yourself. There's things everywhere. You got to just
- 6:08Speaker 2: kind of like find the good.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Stuff through all of the other stuff. So at one.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Point we kind of like and I was not expecting this,
- 6:16Speaker 2: but like we in a corner had like developed this
- 6:20Speaker 2: group of us who were opening up boxes and like
- 6:23Speaker 2: shouting out the sense and what the like vessels looked
- 6:26Speaker 2: like to each other, so that like everybody could get
- 6:28Speaker 2: the things that they wanted. And we kind of created
- 6:31Speaker 2: like our own little group of doing that. And the
- 6:33Speaker 2: women were so sweet and so kind, and there was
- 6:36Speaker 2: no like fighting because you think in these situations it's
- 6:39Speaker 2: like fight to the death for the best candles that
- 6:42Speaker 2: you could possibly get.
- 6:42Speaker 3: But that's not what was happening at all.
- 6:44Speaker 1: There was a group of strangers that came together and
- 6:45Speaker 1: you were helping each other. It's not like those classic
- 6:47Speaker 1: like Black Friday stories, right people were trampling old.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Women and complete opposite of that, and they were just strangers.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Nobody knew each other. Everybody just started talking and like, oh,
- 6:57Speaker 2: you have this candle oh you saw that candle? Where
- 6:59Speaker 2: did you find it? And they're like grabbing the candles
- 7:01Speaker 2: for you and like passing them around. It was just
- 7:03Speaker 2: so wholesome and so nice, and it just reminded me
- 7:07Speaker 2: that people are still good and kind and sweet even
- 7:11Speaker 2: when it.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Feels like everything's kind of falling apart you.
- 7:14Speaker 2: And during this season especially, I think you can get
- 7:17Speaker 2: mixed reviews, right, like, people could be really great or
- 7:19Speaker 2: they could be really terrible during this season. But there's
- 7:22Speaker 2: good people out there, and it was really nice. And
- 7:24Speaker 2: I'm still on cloud nine because it is you.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Know what that's called what the holiday spirit? Oh my
- 7:30Speaker 1: Merry Christmas. Ricky, I'm glad you had that experience. That's
- 7:33Speaker 1: really cool and that's good to know about. Patty Wax.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Thank you for spreading the word there.
- 7:36Speaker 2: It's truly like the best tale I've ever had in
- 7:39Speaker 2: my life that I've experienced.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Three things you need?
- 7:43Speaker 1: All right, let's go just after seven o'clock on this
- 7:45Speaker 1: Tuesday morning. Let's make it a great one. Ricky's got
- 7:47Speaker 1: those three things.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Taylor Swift is continuing her late night TV show tour.
- 7:51Speaker 2: She is set to appear on the Late show It
- 7:53Speaker 2: Stephen Colbert. So Taylor six part Arastour docu series comes
- 7:58Speaker 2: out on Disney Plus on the twelfth to she's going
- 8:00Speaker 2: on the show to chat about it. I'm curious to
- 8:03Speaker 2: see what we find out from this appearance, though, because
- 8:05Speaker 2: I'm sure we'll get a little bit more than we've
- 8:07Speaker 2: already got, and we've seen a trailer for the docu
- 8:09Speaker 2: series that we can expect some behind the scenes planning,
- 8:13Speaker 2: a look at how she created the three hour long
- 8:16Speaker 2: eras tour shows that she did, and you know that
- 8:19Speaker 2: there's gonna be some cameos from people like Ed Sheeran
- 8:21Speaker 2: and Sabrina Carpenter. So I'm hoping we find out a
- 8:24Speaker 2: little more information when she's on Stephen Colbert. Obviously, I
- 8:27Speaker 2: will keep you updated if there's anything that's super big
- 8:30Speaker 2: that I think you need to know, because that's my
- 8:32Speaker 2: job and I love to do it. So make sure
- 8:34Speaker 2: that you are here listening to three things you need
- 8:36Speaker 2: to know and I can tell you all about it.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Vandy quarterback Diego Pavia is a finalist in the running
- 8:41Speaker 2: for a Heisman Trophy. This is just another amazing accolade
- 8:46Speaker 2: to add to Vandy's football season. This is the top
- 8:50Speaker 2: honor in college football, it's the Heisman, so this has
- 8:53Speaker 2: been awarded each year since nineteen thirty five to the
- 8:55Speaker 2: top player in the nation. Diego is up against Jeremiah
- 8:58Speaker 2: Love of Notre Dame, Ernando Mendoza of Indiana, and Julian.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Sayan of Ohio State.
- 9:05Speaker 2: The twenty twenty five Heisman Trophy is going to be
- 9:07Speaker 2: presented to this year's winner in New York City at
- 9:10Speaker 2: Lincoln Center on December thirteenth, So fingers crossed for Diego. Obviously,
- 9:15Speaker 2: this would be absolutely massive if it happens. And the
- 9:20Speaker 2: happiest Christmas song, according to science, is Brenda Lee's Rocking Around.
- 9:25Speaker 3: The Christmas Tree.
- 9:27Speaker 2: So research finds that the secret to dopamine boosting songs
- 9:31Speaker 2: is the combo of a few things, right, being in
- 9:33Speaker 2: a major key, having bright and energetic vocals playing between
- 9:37Speaker 2: one hundred and one hundred and forty beats per minute,
- 9:40Speaker 2: and having a catchy curR course, which Rocking around the
- 9:43Speaker 2: Christmas Tree fits perfectly into all of those. The other
- 9:47Speaker 2: two songs that also fit perfectly are Feliz Navidad and
- 9:52Speaker 2: Jingle Bell Rock, So those are the other two on
- 9:54Speaker 2: the list, which all totally makes sense. And are a
- 9:57Speaker 2: great segue into what we're going to be doing in
- 9:59Speaker 2: just a few minutes, So make sure you're here. We're
- 10:01Speaker 2: going to annoy the heck out of our boss Sorick Sanchez.
- 10:06Speaker 3: And those are the three things you need to know.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It's crazy, and I feel like we've said this before,
- 10:10Speaker 1: but Brenda Lee was thirteen years old. She recorded that zone.
- 10:13Speaker 1: She sounds like an old lady that's been through it
- 10:16Speaker 1: or something when she's thirteen years old.
- 10:18Speaker 3: That soul behind that boy, Yeah, he was just a kid.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Thank you for that, Ricky, And you mentioned Taylor Swift.
- 10:23Speaker 1: So let's play the Fate of Aphelia right after this time.
- 10:26Speaker 1: For Zack's facts, Zach is not here, So I've got
- 10:28Speaker 1: a fact. It's a good one. It's about Home Alone.
- 10:30Speaker 1: It's next down the River.
- 10:33Speaker 5: River Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Zak is out today, but don't worry.
- 10:37Speaker 2: We got Kevin Mano ready for Zach's fax presented by
- 10:41Speaker 2: Kevin Mano on one oh seven five the River.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And we're kind of continuing this holiday theme. We've been
- 10:45Speaker 1: talking a lot about the holidays. In the movie Home Alone,
- 10:49Speaker 1: a doctor diagnosed the injuries that Harry and Marv suffered
- 10:52Speaker 1: during both of those movies one and two uh, and
- 10:55Speaker 1: he calculated that they would have died twenty three times minimum.
- 10:59Speaker 1: They would have not survived twenty three of the injuries
- 11:01Speaker 1: that they sustained at the hands of Kevin McAllister.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I watched it last night, and I can confirm, as
- 11:07Speaker 2: not a doctor, that that's one hundred percent true.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Did you watch the first one?
- 11:10Speaker 3: The first one?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah, because in the second one, the part that always
- 11:12Speaker 1: got me is when Kevin's throwing bricks off of that roof,
- 11:15Speaker 1: They're they're hitting it, crush their skulls. Yeah, step death.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Don't try these things at home, kids. And that's your
- 11:21Speaker 1: fact of the day.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Thanks keV.
- 11:22Speaker 5: One O seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mannow
- 11:26Speaker 5: in the morning.
- 11:27Speaker 2: It's Kevin Mano's game of the day on one oh
- 11:29Speaker 2: seven five the River.
- 11:30Speaker 3: We're doing a holly jolly movie quiz.
- 11:32Speaker 2: More specifically than that, a holiday movie villain quiz.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Yes we are. That's a theme today. Lauren and Bowling Green.
- 11:39Speaker 1: How you doing, I'm good? Good you? Would you consider
- 11:43Speaker 1: yourself like a holiday movie officionado.
- 11:46Speaker 6: I guess we'll see.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I want to be hopefully you are you get two
- 11:51Speaker 1: out of three of these right you're getting tickets to
- 11:52Speaker 1: see Megan Trainer. Okay, okay, your holly jolly movie quiz
- 11:56Speaker 1: starts right now. Who must Jack Skellington defeat at the
- 12:02Speaker 1: end of Nightmare before Christmas to free Santa Claus or
- 12:06Speaker 1: Sandy Clause. Huh, we're gonna take that. Boogie boogie is
- 12:17Speaker 1: kind of how they say the movie. But if you
- 12:18Speaker 1: want to say oog boogoo, that works for us.
- 12:20Speaker 6: To have my kids helping me at my backup.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I love that, we love what you do teamwork, but
- 12:29Speaker 2: that was also just exceptionally funny.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I don't know if your lips.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Making me read your lips.
- 12:42Speaker 1: We encourage TeamWorks so that they can they're free to
- 12:44Speaker 1: talk out loud.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Yeah, teamwork makes the dream work.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Come on, y'all.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I don't know if your kids are gonna know this one, though.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Question two here, while its status is a Christmas movie,
- 12:53Speaker 1: is often debated. Alan Rickman start as a man named
- 12:56Speaker 1: Hans in die Hard. What was his last name? Hans?
- 13:00Speaker 5: What Hans? Uh?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Hey, it's okay if you don't live if you don't
- 13:12Speaker 1: get this one.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I don't know that one. I think we skip over
- 13:15Speaker 3: that one.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It's Gruber, Hans Gruber. That's he's kind of nobody ever,
- 13:19Speaker 1: So it's Hans Gruber. You get this, you win. Give
- 13:23Speaker 1: us one of your kids might know this. Give us
- 13:26Speaker 1: one of the two nicknames that Harry and Marv go
- 13:29Speaker 1: by in the Home Alone movies, Harry and Harry and
- 13:35Speaker 1: Marv bandit. Yeah, yeah, Yeah, Congratulations, you guys passed the
- 13:43Speaker 1: Holly Jolly movie quiz. You're going to see Megan Trainer
- 13:45Speaker 1: at Bridgestone Arena on July twenty sixth. Yeah, guys, we're
- 13:49Speaker 1: going to.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Congratulations. This is why he makes the dreamwork like you
- 13:58Speaker 3: said it does. I'm so excited, amazing. All right, love,
- 14:01Speaker 3: hang on the line. I gotta get some info from you.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Okay, all right, thank you. Three things you need to know.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Ricky Sanchez is a guaranteed human. She's got those three
- 14:10Speaker 1: things for you on this Tuesday morning. What's going on, Ricky?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Part alien but all the same. Anyways.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Golden Globe nominations are out, and here are some highlights
- 14:19Speaker 2: for you. One Battle after Another led the nominations with
- 14:22Speaker 2: nine nods, followed by Sentimental Value and Sinners, which earned
- 14:26Speaker 2: eight and seven. The White Lotus led TV nominations with
- 14:30Speaker 2: six nods, followed by adolescents with five. Only Murders in
- 14:34Speaker 2: the Building and sevens each grabbed four nominations each. The
- 14:37Speaker 2: Golden Globes also added a new category this year for
- 14:40Speaker 2: Best Podcast, which included nominations for podcasts like Armchair Expert
- 14:44Speaker 2: with Dak Shepherd, which Kevin's a huge fan of, and
- 14:47Speaker 2: Good Hang with Amy Poehler, which I'm a huge fan of.
- 14:50Speaker 2: The show will be hosted again by Nicki Glazer. I
- 14:53Speaker 2: feel like I always say her name wrong. Is that correct?
- 14:55Speaker 3: Blazer?
- 14:55Speaker 2: Okay, I did it right, and it airs January eleventh.
- 14:58Speaker 2: She did such a good job fast time that I
- 15:01Speaker 2: feel like a lot of people watch just to watch her.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I know I'm going to watch specifically to watch her.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Tennessee's favorite Christmas movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and
- 15:12Speaker 2: that's the most popular Christmas movie in America. So movies
- 15:15Speaker 2: that other states really liked were A Christmas Story, Home Alone, Elf,
- 15:20Speaker 2: and The Polar Express, which.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Round out the top five.
- 15:23Speaker 2: And the biggest breakup day of the year is Unfortunately
- 15:27Speaker 2: this week, it's coming up. A very serious scientific research
- 15:31Speaker 2: has found that December eleventh. This Thursday is the number
- 15:35Speaker 2: one day for breakups. It turns out that the holiday
- 15:38Speaker 2: season is pretty bad for romance. Shockingly enough, three quarters
- 15:42Speaker 2: of online daters daters have experienced a Christmas season split.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Another really big day is around another holiday, the Tuesday
- 15:51Speaker 2: before Valentine's Day. It's known as Red Tuesday because of
- 15:53Speaker 2: the level of breakups that happened.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I guess just like the pressure of like buying gifts
- 15:57Speaker 1: or I guess, or like the.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Pressure of bringing people around your family can be part
- 16:01Speaker 2: of it. There's a lot of things I'm sure that
- 16:03Speaker 2: go into this, but yeah, December eleventh's coming up, guys.
- 16:07Speaker 2: So if you're feeling like your relationship may not be
- 16:09Speaker 2: doing so great, you're gonna find out this Thursday.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Don't answer your phone on Thursday if they call you.
- 16:14Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 16:16Speaker 3: need to know.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky. Getting back into the music. Coming up
- 16:19Speaker 1: a little bit later this hour. We want to know
- 16:20Speaker 1: your stance, your take on holiday cards hot or not?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Are they still in?
- 16:24Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the Rivers.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Taylor, it's the river. Are holiday cards in or out
- 16:33Speaker 1: Are they.
- 16:33Speaker 7: Hot or not?
- 16:34Speaker 1: Ricky pose this question yesterday and I sure hope they're
- 16:37Speaker 1: hot because this is the first year that my family
- 16:39Speaker 1: is actually doing them.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Is that why you asked you for my address?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yes?
- 16:43Speaker 3: I didn't even ask you. Why do you That's how
- 16:45Speaker 3: much I trust you, Kevin.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I just gave you my address, didn't even ask why
- 16:48Speaker 2: you needed it.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Well, I'll be honest with you. I asked you for
- 16:50Speaker 1: your address. You took a while to respond, So I
- 16:52Speaker 1: asked Zach for your address and he gave it to
- 16:54Speaker 1: me promptly.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Oh great, so he's hating.
- 16:57Speaker 1: If you ever want Ricky's address, just aid Zach.
- 16:59Speaker 2: But holiday cards are like kind of I feel like
- 17:01Speaker 2: they go through lulls, you know, A J and I
- 17:04Speaker 2: got our first one last week.
- 17:06Speaker 3: But normally by this point we have a lot more.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Yeah, got one is a sign that people aren't doing
- 17:14Speaker 1: them as much.
- 17:14Speaker 2: It's either people aren't doing them as much or they
- 17:16Speaker 2: took us.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Off the other Well, we put you on our list,
- 17:20Speaker 1: so it's all there. We go at six seven, three, seven, nine,
- 17:24Speaker 1: one o seven. What do you think are holiday cards
- 17:27Speaker 1: still as popular as ever? Are they starting to kind
- 17:30Speaker 1: of go away? I truly don't know.
- 17:33Speaker 3: We're gonna find out. We're gonna get the consensus for
- 17:35Speaker 3: everybody else.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Six seven, three, seven nine, one o seven let us
- 17:38Speaker 1: know it's the.
- 17:39Speaker 2: One seven five, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning
- 17:44Speaker 2: holiday cards.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Are they hot or not?
- 17:46Speaker 2: That is the question we have posed on one of
- 17:48Speaker 2: seven five the River. I noticed this year that so
- 17:51Speaker 2: far my fiance and I have only received one. So
- 17:54Speaker 2: it's either that people aren't into them as much or
- 17:56Speaker 2: we're getting kicked off with people's.
- 17:58Speaker 1: People aren't into you guys as much, Dan.
- 18:01Speaker 6: Gallatin, what do you think I've noticed? Like you, there's
- 18:03Speaker 6: a whole lot less. But I also haven't sent mine out.
- 18:07Speaker 6: I normally send mine out like the day before Thanksgiving. Oh,
- 18:11Speaker 6: and I'm a little behind right now. But even like
- 18:15Speaker 6: my great aunt that sends one to me and my
- 18:17Speaker 6: mom has sent one to my mom but not to me.
- 18:19Speaker 6: Oh the moms went out the day before Thanksgiving.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Okay, So what you're saying is there's a possibility that
- 18:24Speaker 2: people are just you know, falling behind a little bit.
- 18:26Speaker 2: But there's also a possibility that I've been kicked off
- 18:28Speaker 2: of people's lives.
- 18:31Speaker 6: My mom and I have a my mom and I
- 18:32Speaker 6: have a policy. You get two years if you don't
- 18:35Speaker 6: send one back and you don't fall into the criteria
- 18:37Speaker 6: of family that we know just doesn't send them and
- 18:40Speaker 6: they're subvern or.
- 18:42Speaker 7: Older people.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You have like categories and stuff.
- 18:48Speaker 6: If many of we send out, I would go broke.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Otherwise, Oh okay, about how many are you sending a year?
- 18:54Speaker 5: D About eighty?
- 18:56Speaker 1: Oh wow, They're not cheap at all, So well, thank you, Dee.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I don't know why you're dragging your feet sending yours up,
- 19:04Speaker 1: but you better hop to it.
- 19:06Speaker 6: I've had a family in the hospital, and my Christmas
- 19:12Speaker 6: party at work was last week and I was in
- 19:14Speaker 6: charge of it. So now this week I'm actually I
- 19:17Speaker 6: brought him to work today so I get.
- 19:19Speaker 2: To work on them. Dee has had a lot going on, Kevin,
- 19:22Speaker 2: give her some grace. Grace, d we appreciate you so
- 19:26Speaker 2: much and we hope that everything's okay.
- 19:28Speaker 6: Thank you, appreciate it all right.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Merry Christmas, Love, Merry Christmas.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Nate really kind of screwed that one up. Way to go,
- 19:35Speaker 1: Kevin six seven three seven nine seven. If you want
- 19:38Speaker 1: to weigh in here, I know Alex is online. He's
- 19:40Speaker 1: got a story. We'll talk to him in a minute.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Holiday cards hot or not? One O seven five Ricky,
- 19:45Speaker 1: Zach and Mennow in the morning. Alex in Clarksville, where
- 19:48Speaker 1: do you stand on Christmas cards?
- 19:50Speaker 4: Well, I'm gonna say not because in twenty and twenty
- 19:54Speaker 4: three we sent our first and our very last Christmas
- 19:59Speaker 4: cards out to people. You want to know why I
- 20:01Speaker 4: do because we sent out a Christmas card to who
- 20:04Speaker 4: I thought was going to my brother. So all I
- 20:06Speaker 4: did was put Uncle Cody on the card. I forgot
- 20:09Speaker 4: to put his apartment number down, and apparently there were
- 20:13Speaker 4: two Codys that live in this fame apartment building, and
- 20:16Speaker 4: the mailman gave it to the other Cody, who is
- 20:20Speaker 4: not my brother, who also worked for the news station,
- 20:23Speaker 4: who thought that this was funny and did a whole
- 20:26Speaker 4: news story about the picture getting sent to the wrong
- 20:29Speaker 4: Uncle Cody.
- 20:30Speaker 1: That's crazy. That doesn't know where I saw that story going.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Me neither, what Alex?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Okay, So this this happened then in this area, so
- 20:38Speaker 2: it was just on the news for everybody to see.
- 20:41Speaker 4: No man, I mean it went to Henderson, Kentucky, and
- 20:43Speaker 4: my family was calling me saying, do you know you're
- 20:46Speaker 4: on the news and you said for what they said,
- 20:49Speaker 4: apparently you sent Christmas cards out to Uncle Cody and
- 20:52Speaker 4: they went to the wrong Cody, and so then.
- 20:55Speaker 1: The news guy Cody was like, hey, way, look at
- 20:57Speaker 1: this as a fan of the show, send me a
- 20:58Speaker 1: card and called me uncle and like they just thought
- 21:00Speaker 1: it was funny.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Yes, there's a video. If y'all need me to send
- 21:04Speaker 4: it to you, just to go with it because it's
- 21:05Speaker 4: pretty funny.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Man, that's a good story.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yes, that was the very first, dame last time we've
- 21:10Speaker 4: ever sent out Christmas cards. If anybody wants one, we
- 21:12Speaker 4: send it through Facebook or text message smart.
- 21:15Speaker 2: That's actually kind of smart to do it that way
- 21:17Speaker 2: because digitally it is a lot cheaper than sending them out.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Anyways, there you go, Yes, ma'am, we learned a lesson, Alex.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Thank you so much for that story. I was not
- 21:25Speaker 3: expecting that whatsoever.
- 21:27Speaker 4: There y'all go, y'all have a good morning, You have
- 21:29Speaker 4: a great day.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Part of me now wants to make the most outrageous
- 21:35Speaker 2: Christmas card I possibly can and send it to random people.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I think that's a great idea, or the folks at.
- 21:41Speaker 2: The news, specifically to the people at the news.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I have a new mission for next year for Christmas.
- 21:46Speaker 1: You should absolutely do that. Don't forget. We're playing pick
- 21:49Speaker 1: your Package again this morning at nine to twenty here on.
- 21:51Speaker 5: The River, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 21:57Speaker 2: It's rough for you if you have a birthday, and
- 22:00Speaker 2: we know that that's tough. I mean, Kevin and I
- 22:02Speaker 2: both have summer birthdays, but we feel for you. The
- 22:05Speaker 2: daily double tap on one of seven five of the
- 22:07Speaker 2: River is a perfect way to kind of encapsulate what
- 22:10Speaker 2: it's like having a birthday in the winter.
- 22:12Speaker 1: This is very funny if you have a birthday in
- 22:14Speaker 1: the winter, or if you know somebody will post this
- 22:16Speaker 1: video up on our Instagram story so you can send
- 22:18Speaker 1: it to them. But here we go today's daily double tap.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Hey, I know it's minus thirty two this weekend, but
- 22:24Speaker 7: I'd love if you came out for my birthday. We
- 22:26Speaker 7: can go to a very dead bar. I'm debating pushing
- 22:29Speaker 7: it to next weekend after my birthday because it'll only
- 22:33Speaker 7: be minus nineteen, which is a bit more bearable. When
- 22:36Speaker 7: you get here, please take off your boots that are
- 22:38Speaker 7: covered in snow and just leave them on the floor
- 22:41Speaker 7: so that all the snow can melt and make the
- 22:43Speaker 7: floor really wet for anybody else to try and get
- 22:45Speaker 7: their shoes.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I do hate that. I do hate the melted puddle
- 22:48Speaker 1: of snow that comes off of the shoes and boots.
- 22:50Speaker 2: It's rough, and even here where we don't get a
- 22:52Speaker 2: lot of snow typically, it's still slushy and gross and
- 22:57Speaker 2: icy outside and cold, and I just want to stay
- 23:00Speaker 2: inside forever.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Just sort of a dark and depressing time of year
- 23:03Speaker 1: outside of like actual holidays, you know, the rest of
- 23:06Speaker 1: the the rest of these months are just kind.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Of rough, and I'm sorry.
- 23:09Speaker 1: We feel your pain again. We'll post the video on
- 23:11Speaker 1: our Instagram stories at one oh seven five the River
- 23:13Speaker 1: if you want to see it or share it. To
- 23:16Speaker 1: pick your package on.
- 23:20Speaker 2: We are dwindling down or pick your package on one
- 23:23Speaker 2: oh seven five the River. There's only seven gifts left,
- 23:27Speaker 2: and Kevin and I were just saying how sad we
- 23:29Speaker 2: are that it's coming to an end.
- 23:30Speaker 1: We love to pick your package. Maybe we should talk
- 23:32Speaker 1: about like doing like a Christmas in July thing and
- 23:34Speaker 1: bringing it back in the summer.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Okay, that's something to bring up to our boss. But
- 23:37Speaker 3: we have Tricia and bullying Green, Oh Sea. Trisha likes
- 23:40Speaker 3: the idea already. Tricia and bowling Green, you know how
- 23:42Speaker 3: to play, right?
- 23:43Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 23:44Speaker 2: All right, you got to pick a number one through
- 23:45Speaker 2: thirty two. Have you been following along with the ones
- 23:47Speaker 2: that are already taken? Yeah?
- 23:49Speaker 3: Perfect, beautiful? What number do you want to go with? Tricia?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Twenty two? Okay, Ricky's gonna grab that from under the tree.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Can I ask you while she rips into it, is
- 23:59Speaker 1: there anything specifically that you're hoping to get?
- 24:02Speaker 6: I don't know if anything for my grand key is cute?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Okay, twenty two is what you picked? Those are MGK tickets?
- 24:11Speaker 7: Oh?
- 24:12Speaker 3: Thank Yeah, immediately said yes, I love it. That's gonna
- 24:15Speaker 3: be a great show. That is awesome about her.
- 24:18Speaker 4: We'll be so excited.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Yay.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Congratulations Tricia, you got one of the good ones and
- 24:23Speaker 2: I love that.
- 24:23Speaker 3: You immediately are like, yeah, let's take it.
- 24:25Speaker 5: I know.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Thank God, good for you.
- 24:28Speaker 2: All right, hang on the line, Love, I gotta get
- 24:30Speaker 2: info from you.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, thank.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You, congratulations, thanks for listening. One twenty your next chance
- 24:35Speaker 1: to play. We're down to six things under this tree.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I know, but there's still some really good stuff for
- 24:40Speaker 3: people to win.
- 24:41Speaker 1: There's a Taylor Swift merch pack. There are Meghan Trainer tickets.
- 24:45Speaker 1: There is a Harry Belly apron.
- 24:47Speaker 2: There's someone out there who I know wants the Harry
- 24:50Speaker 2: Belly apron other than Zach, and I know that they're
- 24:53Speaker 2: gonna get it.
- 24:53Speaker 1: By the way, Zach's not here. Should we get them
- 24:54Speaker 1: a Harry Belly apron for Christmas?
- 24:56Speaker 7: Oh?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Maybe he does seem the right idea. He talks about
- 24:59Speaker 1: it all the time.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Twenty Your Next Chance to plas Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 25:02Speaker 5: in the morning on one oh seven five.
- 25:04Speaker 4: The River
