Transcript
- 0:00We have said that we have been in a no under attack zone.
- 0:06That's right. My house has been under no attack for almost a year and a half.
- 0:12That all ended this morning.
- 0:15No, groundhogs. And there's a hospital.
- 0:19The groundhogs are back. We are under attack. Have faith. Let's begin.
- 0:23Woodchuck versus Angel. Part one starts right now.
- 0:30It's Monday, and you know what that means. Welcome to Have Faith. Let it begin.
- 0:36Podcast of inspiration. It's a podcast of hope.
- 0:42It's a podcast of faith, and it's a podcast of friendship.
- 0:46Here is your host, Angel Santana, and special co-host, Dr. E.
- 0:52We're a three-part. Angel, I am pleased to punch to be here in three,
- 0:57two, one. Ladies and gentlemen, it is a wrap.
- 1:04Dr. E, look, man, Tom, I don't know. Going to ministry school,
- 1:09I'm learning about forgiveness, but my forgiveness is running thin, man.
- 1:12We have got it. Oh, Joe, the groundhogs are back, Angel. Don't tell me.
- 1:18Listen, not only is it back, it's got a family.
- 1:21So I don't know if they're coming after me, Godfather style,
- 1:24for all the heart attacks we gave the other ones, But this team,
- 1:28and I call it a team And the mama bear Mama Chuck, whatever you want to call
- 1:32her Is so big I don't even know if I could take her,
- 1:36So I put a Havahard trap.
- 1:39And I caught one No!
- 1:43Worst time ever on this show Which one did you get?
- 1:47We got, unfortunately, a little one So we're going to let this one go But we're
- 1:53going after the mama bear She's got to learn You know what I mean?
- 1:57She's got to learn. We're going to let this one go.
- 1:59But E, what do you do? I need some help. What can we do?
- 2:03Ammonia doesn't work. Singing to them doesn't work.
- 2:06What can we do? Angel, what you need to do is just sign over your title of your
- 2:12home to the mama of Woodchuck because she has a family to raise to.
- 2:18Or maybe we could just all live together in harmony.
- 2:22Is it possible that you and the Woodchuck family could just kind of learn to adjust to each other?
- 2:31I would love to, but they're breaking my shed.
- 2:35They're breaking it. they're chipping away the wood
- 2:37it's not biased can't we buy you
- 2:40can we go like a fund me and get
- 2:43a second shed just for the woodchuck family i
- 2:47have three they're taking over two oh geez angel as a person who lives in the
- 2:53country who was raised in the city i can only tell you that you're up against
- 2:58nature and guess what nature will always win yeah you know i got ideas of what I want to do.
- 3:06But every time I think about it, the good Lord sends me a little shock there
- 3:09and I get the little shock and it says, Hey, you are a man of God.
- 3:13And these are the creatures that I've created and they have a purpose.
- 3:17I haven't figured out what the purpose is for these woodchucks other than beating up my sheds.
- 3:21But the purpose of today's message is this. You got to learn to forgive.
- 3:25You got to learn to just say, you know what? It is what it is.
- 3:28And let the chips fall where they may, or maybe a woodchuck.
- 3:31Just kidding. Let's say a prayer and I'll keep you posted. This is part one.
- 3:35The saga begins. I feel like I should maybe cue up the Godfather music when I put this in editing.
- 3:41So we'll know. I know they're sitting back right now, and they're just saying,
- 3:44hey, Michael, Michael, this is what we're going to do.
- 3:47We're going to just take over the shed, okay, Michael?
- 3:50That's what I'm thinking. I don't know. We'll see what happens.
- 3:53All right, here we go. Let's do a quick prayer. Heavenly Father,
- 3:56we thank you for all that you've created, the animals, the earth.
- 4:00Lord, what can you do? These animals can get on our nerves, but what we can't
- 4:04do is we can't retaliate.
- 4:06We have to learn to live in the same soils and the same grounds that you provided us.
- 4:11Remember, at the end of the day, we may have taken their land before the houses
- 4:15were even put there, and they're just trying to pick up where they left off.
- 4:19So we just ask for forgiveness, for patience, and we pray that they will listen
- 4:23to this prayer and they realize maybe it's not a good idea to chip away at this guy's shed.
- 4:29Maybe it's just better just take it as a underground condominium.
- 4:32I'll even build them a pool.
- 4:34And we pray this to you in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- 4:37Amen. See, we can even have a good sense of humor here.
- 4:39Angel, that was really actually a great metaphor for forgiveness.
- 4:42And it did not go, you know, it did not get past me.
- 4:46And I just think all your listeners will appreciate it. God bless you and never forget.
- 4:50Have faith, let it begin, baby. Have a good one, Woodchuck. We're coming for
- 4:54you. No, I'm just kidding. All right, we'll be good. Bye.
