Switched Off at 12:10: The Disappearance of Claudia Lawrence
In March 2009, University of York chef Claudia Lawrence spoke to her parents, went to bed early, and was never seen again; her phone was switched off at 12:10 the next day. Police treated it as murder within five weeks, but despite a cold-case review and six arrests, no one has ever been charged and her body has never been found. Her father's campaign gave Britain 'Claudia's Law', but he died without knowing what happened to her.
