- 1:07Carmen Lezeth: Well, cynthia, you were on the show, but Rick, were you able to watch it at all?
- 1:10Carmen Lezeth: You were on the show On Sunday.
- 1:13Carmen Lezeth: I was watching oh you were on on Sunday, that's right.
- 1:15Carmen Lezeth: I'm so sorry.
- 1:16Rick Costa: I'm so sorry, I'm on the show.
- 1:18Carmen Lezeth: Look it, it's been a week.
- 1:20Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but yeah, so first let's start with.
- 1:28Carmen Lezeth: What do you think about your reputation?
- 1:29Carmen Lezeth: Does it matter to you what others think about you or what other organizations think about you?
- 1:32Carmen Lezeth: Or do you go into a bank ever and try to apply for a loan and not get one, and does that make you feel bad?
- 1:39Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I think rejection makes anyone feel bad, regardless of what it is.
- 1:42Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Is it makes anyone feel bad regardless of what it is, but I don't think I've ever had to do anything like that.
- 1:51Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: As far as reputation like my thing is, I always want people to know that I am a good person.
- 1:54Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Like somebody talks crap about me like it may or may not be true, you know, like Carmen always says, I'm the mean one, but there are times I can be.
- 2:04Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I can be, I'm not going to lie.
- 2:06Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying between you and me you're the mean one, but everyone thinks I am.
- 2:18Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: For the most part, my reputation is I have a big heart and you know I do care about people and that is true and it does make you feel good and stuff.
- 2:22Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: So I don't know, I think it just kind of depends on the reputation whether it matters or not.
- 2:28Carmen Lezeth: But wait, I think it's interesting.
- 2:29Carmen Lezeth: So you think your reputation is is what again?
- 2:32Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: What was that again that I have a big heart and that I do care about people.
- 2:36Carmen Lezeth: Big car- no, I'm just kidding Big heart.
- 2:38Carmen Lezeth: What else?
- 2:39Carmen Lezeth: Sorry, you gotta read what and what else, and that I care about people.
- 2:52Carmen Lezeth: It's true.
- 2:52Carmen Lezeth: What's your reputation?
- 2:53Carmen Lezeth: What do you think your reputation is?
- 2:56Rick Costa: I think the biggest thing is can you be dependent upon?
- 2:59Rick Costa: If can you be dependent upon, are you a man or a woman of your word?
- 3:05Rick Costa: Do people think of you as truthful or yeah?
- 3:08Carmen Lezeth: wait, but what's your reputation?
- 3:11Rick Costa: what is my reputation?
- 3:12Carmen Lezeth: yeah, what do you think it is?
- 3:17Rick Costa: family oriented, clearly, because I'm taking care of my mom, which which is very hard.
- 3:23Rick Costa: Super loyal and faithful to the end.
- 3:26Rick Costa: Same job for over 20 years.
- 3:28Rick Costa: Even though I get treated like crap, like loyal and through no matter what thick and thin, I'm there, I'm sticking with you, hello.
- 3:38Rick Costa: Would you guys have been here the whole time?
- 3:40Rick Costa: Even when it's super hard, I make a way.
- 3:42Rick Costa: I find a way to go out and come out even if it's super hard, I make a way.
- 3:51Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I find a way to go out and come out, even if it's going through htw hockey sticks.
- 3:53Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: But yeah, cynthia, what did?
- 3:53Carmen Lezeth: you say, when you just oh, I said, and he's religious, you know, oh yeah, religious, yeah, I'm like, and what that's actually something that was when I first started getting religious was?
- 4:04Rick Costa: it talks about reputation quite a bit in the Bible actually.
- 4:07Rick Costa: So that was pounded into my brain of like make it so easy that people will talk bad about you.
- 4:13Rick Costa: Live in such a way that nobody can say anything bad about you.
- 4:17Carmen Lezeth: But is that really possible?
- 4:18Carmen Lezeth: I mean in such a way that nobody can say anything bad about you.
- 4:22Carmen Lezeth: Try.
- 4:24Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: You can try, but the haters are still going to hate.
- 4:26Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I think that says more about them than it does about you.
- 4:30Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yeah.
- 4:33Carmen Lezeth: That's interesting.
- 4:33Carmen Lezeth: I don't know.
- 4:34Carmen Lezeth: I just, yeah, I don't want to get into it so what about you, carmen?
- 4:39Carmen Lezeth: I think I'm hard.
- 4:40Carmen Lezeth: I think people think I'm pretty hard and mean Blunt Probably blunt is a better word.
- 4:48Carmen Lezeth: I think people think I might be funny, maybe a little bit too sarcastic or something.
- 4:52Carmen Lezeth: I think my reputation has more of a negative.
- 4:54Carmen Lezeth: I tend to look at the negative sides of what people think of me, not the good stuff.
- 5:00Carmen Lezeth: It's not that I don't care, I do care.
- 5:01Carmen Lezeth: But I think there's also something about being strong and I have conviction and I stand on what I believe.
- 5:10Carmen Lezeth: There are that part of it too.
- 5:12Carmen Lezeth: I am absolutely loyal until you fuck up and then I'm not.
- 5:19Carmen Lezeth: I will drop you quickly if I realize you're not a good person.
- 5:23Carmen Lezeth: So I think I have really strict rules and it bothers some people, but I think my reputation matters to me because I've worked so hard to try to be a good person.
- 5:36Carmen Lezeth: It doesn't mean I always succeed.
- 5:38Carmen Lezeth: Being a good person doesn't mean you don't sometimes make mistakes and fail.
- 5:42Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 5:44Carmen Lezeth: Like you do, but can you own up to it?
- 5:46Carmen Lezeth: Can you take the hit?
- 5:47Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 5:48Carmen Lezeth: Can you get back up?
- 5:50Carmen Lezeth: You know that's.
- 5:51Carmen Lezeth: That's about integrity, that's about character, that's about perseverance.
- 5:55Carmen Lezeth: You know, and I think all of that is part of your reputation, you know, and I think it does matter to me.
- 6:03Carmen Lezeth: It matters to me a lot.
- 6:04Carmen Lezeth: People are like it don't matter, I don't care what people think.
- 6:06Carmen Lezeth: I care what people think because I've worked very hard to be who I am and I want you to think before you come in my space.
- 6:14Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 6:15Carmen Lezeth: Like I don't want you to be confused as to who we're going to be if you're going to be in my life, because I definitely have boundaries and I definitely have um rules about being in my life and some people don't like it and that's okay, you know it's I do and I don't, both at the same time.
- 6:37Rick Costa: I would like people to think well of me, but if you don't, you don't pay my bills.
- 6:45Carmen Lezeth: I think it would be weird to walk around life thinking everybody thinks highly of you or thinks great you know, or like that you have a great reputation, you know.
- 6:55Carmen Lezeth: Somebody said it was about ego.
- 6:56Carmen Lezeth: That my problem is is I have too much ego.
- 6:59Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, okay, what do you want me to do?
- 7:03Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I don't know what that means.
- 7:04Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I think they confuse ego with confidence.
- 7:06Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yes.
- 7:06Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Okay, what do you want me to do?
- 7:06Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I don't know what that means.
- 7:06Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I think they confuse ego with confidence.
- 7:07Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yes.
- 7:08Carmen Lezeth: Okay, woo yes.
- 7:11Rick Costa: One of the first words you said was hard.
- 7:14Rick Costa: I would replace hard with firm.
- 7:16Rick Costa: Okay, it's a slight difference, but it's a difference.
- 7:21Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: It makes a difference.
- 7:21Rick Costa: Hard is almost like impenetrable where firm is.
- 7:24Rick Costa: I'm not backing down.
- 7:24Rick Costa: Yeah, that's fair.
- 7:25Rick Costa: That's fair, it makes a difference.
- 7:25Carmen Lezeth: It's almost like impenetrable where firm is.
- 7:27Carmen Lezeth: I'm not backing down.
- 7:27Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, that's fair.
- 7:28Carmen Lezeth: That's fair, I'll take that.
- 7:29Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I think I don't know.
- 7:32Carmen Lezeth: I think I made the decision about stepping away from the grants and it made me a little bit sad because I really think that we have something worthy, or that I have something worthy that needs funding.
- 7:45Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what I mean?
- 7:46Carmen Lezeth: But I had to make this decision because, number one, it was stressing me out.
- 7:49Carmen Lezeth: It was so stressing me out and it was making me like do you ever do something where you're just like you know you shouldn't be doing it, but you're doing it?
- 7:58Carmen Lezeth: But all your insides are like just, and I always listened to my instinct and I gave it a shot, know a shot.
- 8:04Carmen Lezeth: Like I've been doing this for four weeks and I'm like you know what I'm done four weeks out of the 12 weeks.
- 8:09Carmen Lezeth: I'm like I'm out.
- 8:10Carmen Lezeth: At the beginning I was like, oh, okay, you have to do your business health and you have to fill out all the paperwork and you know you had to do all these time things.
- 8:19Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, okay, well, that's cool, I can do that.
- 8:21Carmen Lezeth: And I was getting up early or staying up late or whatever it was to do it and I was like, okay, this is fine, cause it's putting me in the process getting my business plan together, blah, blah, blah.
- 8:35Carmen Lezeth: But the next part?
- 8:35Carmen Lezeth: I just was like this is wrong.
- 8:36Rick Costa: Yeah, plus, when you've already spent and consumed so much time doing something, there's a part of you is like well, I already spent all this time, so I might as well finish and follow through, but then that stress is like but is it going to be worth?
- 8:49Rick Costa: That stress is going to cost me.
- 8:53Carmen Lezeth: And you know what?
- 8:54Carmen Lezeth: I wrote the email to disengage from it.
- 8:58Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 8:59Carmen Lezeth: I wrote the different emails.
- 9:00Carmen Lezeth: They don't care, there's so many people that don't give a shit.
- 9:05Carmen Lezeth: But I wanted to be professional or whatever, and the minute I sent it I felt like a whole other weight.
- 9:11Carmen Lezeth: I was like, okay, okay, that was the correct thing to do.
- 9:17Rick Costa: And that tells you that that's the correct thing to do.
- 9:20Carmen Lezeth: I know, but we still need money.
- 9:22Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: We will find it, we will find it, we will find it, we will find it.
- 9:26Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Oh really, someone out there is listening and we will find it.
- 9:33Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: You know what I mean, right.
- 9:36Rick Costa: I'm going to do a feel the streams.
- 9:38Rick Costa: No, feel the dreams.
- 9:40Rick Costa: If you stream it, they will come.
- 9:44Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: They will come, come.
- 9:46Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I love that so good I love it.
- 9:51Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, if you stream it.
- 9:53Carmen Lezeth: Okay, rick rick, with the creativity you've been holding that for a while.
- 9:58Carmen Lezeth: Huh, if you stream it, it will go.
- 10:03Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I just there.
- 10:05Carmen Lezeth: So many.
- 10:06Carmen Lezeth: I guess I started getting a little bit jealous because I'm watching so many people who are making money as content creators and they're horrible.
- 10:15Carmen Lezeth: I'm not trying to say I'm fabulous.
- 10:18Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I'm saying I'm at least as good as this person.
- 10:23Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean At least, but you have to.
- 10:28Carmen Lezeth: I think being a content creator is really really hard, and I'm not sure that's what I want to do either, but I'm going to try to do whatever I can so that we can bring in some money.
- 10:37Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 10:37Carmen Lezeth: But I'm just shook at how hard things are sometimes and people don't seem to realize that because we don't talk about it.
- 10:46Carmen Lezeth: Are there things that you guys do that people don't realize how hard it is for you to do?
- 10:51Carmen Lezeth: I mean, you don't have to share if you don't want to.
- 10:52Carmen Lezeth: I mean, rick, you always talk about your mom and that's fine, we can talk about that.
- 10:56Carmen Lezeth: I do think that's really hard and I always stop you, not because I don't want you to talk about it, but because sometimes I don't want you to talk about it, but cause sometimes I I don't want you to use your mama's content.
- 11:05Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, like, so that's why I stopped you.
- 11:07Carmen Lezeth: But are there things that you guys do that people don't know that you struggle with and that you you know?
- 11:14Carmen Lezeth: like I just told everyone I just struggled with this and you know people think everything comes easy to me or whatever, and it doesn't nothing does Go ahead.
- 11:22Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, cynthia, I felt.
- 11:23Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Getting up every day to go to work.
- 11:27Carmen Lezeth: That's your struggle.
- 11:28Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: That is my struggle.
- 11:31Rick Costa: Nine to five grind.
- 11:33Carmen Lezeth: Wow, are you really hating work this much now?
- 11:37Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: No, it's not.
- 11:38Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: It's not.
- 11:38Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I don't hate.
- 11:39Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I don't hate the job.
- 11:40Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I wish management was better, but I don't hate the job.
- 11:43Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Do you think you've been there long enough now to make a determination?
- 11:54Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: This is better than the last one.
- 11:55Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: They both have their differences.
- 11:57Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, exactly, really you couldn't wait to leave the other place.
- 12:06Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yeah, no, and again, it was because of management was the reason why I left, and if it wasn't because of that I still would be there because I absolutely loved what I was doing.
- 12:11Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I had fun, you know, I enjoyed going every day, you know, and stuff like that, like I would work later or come in earlier if need be, or just because and this job it has, it has its moments and definitely has pros and cons.
- 12:25Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: It's different.
- 12:28Rick Costa: You need to be the manager.
- 12:30Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yeah, maybe Would you want to be the manager.
- 12:33Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Probably not in healthcare.
- 12:36Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Are you done with healthcare?
- 12:38Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I think so Honestly.
- 12:43Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Today I said I need a career, not a job right now.
- 12:47Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: There's a big difference.
- 12:49Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: A career is something you absolutely love, it's something you worked hard for.
- 12:55Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: A job is a job.
- 12:56Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: A job pays your bills.
- 12:58Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: You may not love it, you may like it here and there, but it's not what you want to do.
- 13:03Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I don't want.
- 13:03Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: You may like it here and there, but it's not what you want to do.
- 13:06Carmen Lezeth: So I don't want to go off of this, so I just get you to second.
- 13:11Carmen Lezeth: What would you want to do?
- 13:14Carmen Lezeth: Career wise.
- 13:16Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I mean like, like we've talked about before, I do want to still work with dead bodies, you know, still want to work with autopsies and things like that Cause.
- 13:25Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: That, to me, is interesting.
- 13:30Carmen Lezeth: You know what I thought she was going to be like.
- 13:32Carmen Lezeth: I really do want to make my cards.
- 13:34Carmen Lezeth: You know I was thinking about my arts and crafts.
- 13:36Carmen Lezeth: So you still want to move now from pathology to dead people?
- 13:42Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Well it's still in the same in the same field, but honestly, like if it wasn't medical, I would want to like do either party planning or that, because that was my absolute like goal in the beginning was party planning.
- 13:57Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: So, yeah, I know two totally different things.
- 14:01Rick Costa: I know what if the voice of God came down and said you will prosper tremendously if you do your card business.
- 14:11Rick Costa: Would you be like, okay, I'm going to drop everything and do that?
- 14:14Carmen Lezeth: What if she wants to do party planning?
- 14:18Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Just her hobby, the cards, yeah the cards, party planning yeah, I'd do it.
- 14:24Rick Costa: Any kind of party, wedding party.
- 14:26Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Any kind.
- 14:29Rick Costa: Wedding planner.
- 14:30Rick Costa: Is that same?
- 14:30Rick Costa: No, totally different.
- 14:32Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:34Rick Costa: Because don't they make a pretty decent amount?
- 14:36Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yeah, and weddings are expensive.
- 14:39Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: So, yeah, you definitely make some money from that.
- 14:43Rick Costa: You better not screw it up.
- 14:45Carmen Lezeth: Right, exactly, I screw it up, right exactly.
- 14:47Carmen Lezeth: I'm shooketh, I'm shooketh.
- 14:48Carmen Lezeth: You haven't even been there a year yet.
- 14:50Carmen Lezeth: No, it's been a year, it's been a year On the 1st it was a year.
- 14:56Carmen Lezeth: Oh, July 1st.
- 14:58Carmen Lezeth: Okay, cool, Rick.
- 14:59Carmen Lezeth: What about you?
- 15:02Rick Costa: Hmm, you know it's interesting because when I told y'all I started getting into this AI music creation, that kind of got me excited.
- 15:11Rick Costa: I'm like, hmm, I wonder if that's know my thing, maybe something music wise.
- 15:19Rick Costa: You know, I've written songs, I've sang songs, I've recorded songs.
- 15:22Rick Costa: Now this got me excited again.
- 15:23Rick Costa: So I'm like, could that be what I'm supposed to be doing, you know, as well as helping people and stuff, and you know I mean blah, blah, blah helping people blah blah, Even though I don't have.
- 15:37Rick Costa: I never went to school for that, but people could call me that.
- 15:39Carmen Lezeth: So Okay, but there's again, that's like her car, is like your hobby.
- 15:43Carmen Lezeth: I mean, you know what?
- 15:44Carmen Lezeth: I mean Like I don't mean that in a mean way.
- 15:45Carmen Lezeth: I feel like that's just a part of who you are.
- 15:47Carmen Lezeth: You're gonna, you're going to do that anyways.
- 15:49Carmen Lezeth: You know, you think you'd want to get back into the music business.
- 15:54Rick Costa: I mean, I was never in the business, it was just.
- 15:56Carmen Lezeth: Why not?
- 15:56Carmen Lezeth: It sounds like you're in the business now.
- 16:00Rick Costa: It's a possibility I could.
- 16:02Rick Costa: Even my bestie was like why don't you put your stuff on Spotify?
- 16:05Rick Costa: You could make some money.
- 16:08Carmen Lezeth: Why not?
- 16:08Carmen Lezeth: Everybody else is doing it.
- 16:10Rick Costa: Right.
- 16:12Carmen Lezeth: You never know, why are you not doing it?
- 16:18Rick Costa: I'm constantly tired.
- 16:19Rick Costa: I have so many things that I want to do, and then I get all excited I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do that, and then I'm like okay, I'm mentally exhausted, I'm physically exhausted.
- 16:30Carmen Lezeth: It's like okay, but you know it would be passive income.
- 16:34Carmen Lezeth: You've already created the song right, the first song.
- 16:37Carmen Lezeth: You've already created it.
- 16:38Carmen Lezeth: You've already done it right, you sang it on your phone.
- 16:40Rick Costa: I have actual songs, not AI songs too, so recorded.
- 16:44Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but you know, okay, I have this podcast right, we have All About the Joy.
- 16:49Carmen Lezeth: I started another one, carmen Talk, real quick.
- 16:52Carmen Lezeth: You would be like it doesn't?
- 16:53Carmen Lezeth: It's not like you have to go anywhere.
- 16:56Carmen Lezeth: It's not like you have to go anywhere.
- 16:58Carmen Lezeth: It's just really easy to put your music on Spotify.
- 16:59Carmen Lezeth: If it's done, you want me to send you a link how to do it.
- 17:02Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying it could be passive income.
- 17:06Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Hey, like you said to me, if God came down and said your mom is taken care of, everything else is taken care of, what would you do?
- 17:13Rick Costa: Exactly.
- 17:14Rick Costa: If I got a guarantee, then watch out.
- 17:16Rick Costa: Rick's going to care of what would you do Exactly?
- 17:18Carmen Lezeth: If I got a guarantee, then watch out, Boo out, the way Rick's going to be like Carmen.
- 17:20Carmen Lezeth: I can't be on All About the Joy anymore.
- 17:23Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: You know I'm, my song is number one.
- 17:25Carmen Lezeth: I know I'm very busy.
- 17:26Carmen Lezeth: My song is number one right now in the religious charts and blah, blah, blah.
- 17:29Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to be going here and there and I'm just too busy for all about the joy.
- 17:34Carmen Lezeth: How are you doing?
- 17:34Carmen Lezeth: Did you get that?
- 17:35Carmen Lezeth: Grant you doing okay?
- 17:43Rick Costa: Remember, I'm very loyal.
- 17:45Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, you're very loyal.
- 17:46Carmen Lezeth: You're very loyal, so okay.
- 17:49Carmen Lezeth: So when it comes to reputation, would you be afraid that?
- 17:51Carmen Lezeth: Okay, for Rick, this is really interesting.
- 17:52Carmen Lezeth: Would you be afraid that if you took that leap and really interesting would you be afraid that if you took that leap and went on spotify and put your music out there that maybe nobody'd want to listen to it, would that bother you?
- 18:03Carmen Lezeth: Would that?
- 18:04Rick Costa: would that change anything in my current life?
- 18:07Rick Costa: No, nothing changes.
- 18:11Rick Costa: If nothing changes, nothing changes.
- 18:12Rick Costa: So would I be a little not happy about it.
- 18:15Rick Costa: Be like oh well, but nothing is like.
- 18:19Rick Costa: I'm at a point in life where only the important things matter.
- 18:23Carmen Lezeth: Well that's fair.
- 18:25Rick Costa: I just don't have time to deal with dreams and what ifs and da da da.
- 18:29Rick Costa: I need to pay for groceries.
- 18:31Carmen Lezeth: I know, but I dream all the time.
- 18:33Carmen Lezeth: I want to stop dreaming.
- 18:38Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Not everybody likes to say music, so I mean, oh yeah.
- 18:43Carmen Lezeth: I mean it's a religious music thing that he's doing, so I'm not going to listen to it.
- 18:46Carmen Lezeth: I mean I support you 100%.
- 18:50Rick Costa: I made a little outro now because the outro that I used to use it's literally on every single video was like a copyright free from youtube, blah, blah, blah.
- 18:58Rick Costa: And I'm like you know what I've seen where they say copyright free and then later they change their mind and then it's like you got to take down everything.
- 19:04Rick Costa: I'm like this is on every video.
- 19:05Rick Costa: So I used ai and made my own and it was just like a flamenco guitar and everybody's like I love that song.
- 19:12Rick Costa: That's really cool.
- 19:12Carmen Lezeth: So the beats I don't know what you mean, what are we talking about?
- 19:16Carmen Lezeth: So at the end of my videos I have an outro.
- 19:19Rick Costa: I have like an outro video and it's just music.
- 19:21Rick Costa: It just shows different pictures and music and I'm done.
- 19:25Rick Costa: Bye, everybody, love you, see you, bye.
- 19:26Rick Costa: And then the music plays and then that's it.
- 19:28Rick Costa: That's the end and.
- 19:30Rick Costa: No, supposedly YouTube says this is free to use, copyright free.
- 19:35Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, it is yeah.
- 19:36Rick Costa: So but I again, I've seen things that I've used, things that they said were, and then they, I guess, changed their mind and then all of a sudden, like copyright strike, like Whoa, whoa, wait a minute.
- 19:45Rick Costa: So I was like you know what, let me make my own and not to worry about that no more.
- 19:49Rick Costa: So I did and everybody's like oh, that's a really cool song.
- 19:52Rick Costa: I like this song.
- 19:52Rick Costa: It's very, you know, peppy kind of spin.
- 19:55Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but when you say I'm going to, I'm going to mess with you here.
- 19:58Carmen Lezeth: When you say you made it yourself, you used a I who stole it from a flamenco, whatever guitar player See what I'm saying.
- 20:12Rick Costa: It creates it based on their database of all different types.
- 20:14Carmen Lezeth: Rick is so into his AI shit he don't want to embrace facts.
- 20:17Carmen Lezeth: It is stealing.
- 20:18Carmen Lezeth: This is look you know, I love me my AI the problem with AI in creation.
- 20:24Carmen Lezeth: That's why I want you to be careful about what you're saying too.
- 20:27Carmen Lezeth: It is stealing from creators, from other people, and not giving them credit, even though I know what you're saying.
- 20:34Carmen Lezeth: But it's actually not.
- 20:35Carmen Lezeth: It's not picking up a guitar and creating music for you.
- 20:39Carmen Lezeth: It is learning from all these different resources and none of those people are getting paid anything.
- 20:47Rick Costa: Right but the actual, just like using this as an example.
- 20:50Rick Costa: Is that exact song made that somebody else made and it just said I'm going to steal it?
- 20:56Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, what what?
- 20:57Rick Costa: the exact song that it created.
- 20:59Rick Costa: That's literally somebody's song that somebody made, and they just said, oh, I'm gonna swipe it from there and say it's ai.
- 21:04Rick Costa: Now, like I think it's still created, unique by ai, but influenced by but ai is not a human being to create anything.
- 21:13Carmen Lezeth: Ai will tell you itself that it can't create any like.
- 21:17Carmen Lezeth: It's not, it's not sentient, it can't create something.
- 21:21Carmen Lezeth: So what it does is it takes stuff and then it mashes it together to create something.
- 21:26Carmen Lezeth: We all do that, by the way.
- 21:28Carmen Lezeth: That's what we all do.
- 21:29Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 21:29Carmen Lezeth: Right, right, right.
- 21:31Carmen Lezeth: But what I'm saying is is you're worried about, so, let's say, cynthia wrote a song, she hummed a song or whatever, and she recorded it and she put it.
- 21:39Carmen Lezeth: And then she said this is free for anybody to use.
- 21:41Carmen Lezeth: And she said that it's royalty free, whatever, because she just wants people to know that Cynthia is a a great musician, hummer, person, right, because that's what a lot of people do, who give their music for free, because what they want is to have it used, and then maybe somebody will make it big, and then they'll you know what I mean.
- 21:59Carmen Lezeth: Like that's why I give them credit in the show notes or whatever that I think when they make it big.
- 22:03Carmen Lezeth: But I'm just saying but what AI does is AI is like oh, I'll go into AI and say can you, I want a piece of poetry that talks about what it's like to make cards and work in a pathology lab.
- 22:17Carmen Lezeth: Can you get me any information on that?
- 22:20Carmen Lezeth: So AI goes and looks and is like oh, here is Cynthia.
- 22:24Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia works in a pathology lab, she's a creative person and she wrote a song and I'm going to extract things and then I'm going to add it from Bob over here, and now I'm going to add it from Bob over here and I'm going to, and now I'm going to create something else.
- 22:36Carmen Lezeth: The problem is, nobody is giving Cynthia or Bob or anybody else credit, nowhere.
- 22:44Carmen Lezeth: Co-pilot chat, gbt, gemini None of them are saying you know what, cynthia?
- 22:50Carmen Lezeth: We use your stuff to learn, so we want to give you some money or want to at least give you credit.
- 22:54Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying I think it would be.
- 22:57Carmen Lezeth: This is just how I'm feeling about it, because I'm trying as a person who actually writes and creates stuff that has nothing to do with AI.
- 23:11Carmen Lezeth: Even I know it went and took my book.
- 23:12Carmen Lezeth: It can easily go and take my book.
- 23:14Carmen Lezeth: I've asked it and it is yes, carmen wrote a.
- 23:15Carmen Lezeth: It says Carmen Lisette wrote a really good book, and here's what it's all about.
- 23:18Carmen Lezeth: And I'm like motherfucker, you know what I mean.
- 23:21Carmen Lezeth: I read the whole book in like a minute or whatever, and it gives you a whole summary and it tells you all about it and it decides how good or bad it is, or whatever.
- 23:32Carmen Lezeth: And I'm like did it create that summary all in it?
- 23:33Carmen Lezeth: No, it went and looked at Amazon and took other you whatever.
- 23:34Carmen Lezeth: And I'm like did it create that summary all in it?
- 23:36Carmen Lezeth: No, it went and looked at on Amazon and took other.
- 23:39Carmen Lezeth: You see what I'm saying?
- 23:40Carmen Lezeth: It went and took other people's stuff.
- 23:41Carmen Lezeth: It actually didn't figure it out on its own, whether it liked it or not.
- 23:45Carmen Lezeth: It's not actually human, you know.
- 23:47Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying the better way is to just look at it as that.
- 23:52Carmen Lezeth: Like when you just said that you're creating this Flamingo music or Flamingo Flamenco music, you're not.
- 24:02Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 24:03Carmen Lezeth: Like you're using AI, because unless you picked up a guitar and started doing it you see what I just.
- 24:10Carmen Lezeth: I just think it's fair to say that you're using AI and to just be on Cause I think that's how you're going to safeguard yourself in the future.
- 24:17Carmen Lezeth: Like when I did my business plan, I credited Copilot as helping me edit it.
- 24:24Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 24:25Carmen Lezeth: Like I'm not going to mess with that.
- 24:27Carmen Lezeth: I didn't have it write it for me.
- 24:29Carmen Lezeth: But I did write stuff and then have it go in and fix grammatic, whatever, so it sounded more professional, whatever.
- 24:35Carmen Lezeth: So I, you, so I wrote that it was also AI helped edit this, whatever.
- 24:39Carmen Lezeth: I didn't write it that way.
- 24:41Carmen Lezeth: I actually asked Copilot how to write that.
- 24:44Carmen Lezeth: It's like a little thing at the bottom.
- 24:46Carmen Lezeth: But I'm not trying to push you down.
- 24:49Carmen Lezeth: I do think with AI it's going to be really difficult.
- 24:51Carmen Lezeth: And how do you safeguard your reputation so you don't look like you're cheating?
- 24:56Carmen Lezeth: That's what I keep thinking about.
- 24:59Carmen Lezeth: Like I don't want anyone to tell me that I'm cheating.
- 25:02Carmen Lezeth: In the same respects, I feel like AI is leveling the playing field because I don't have an editor.
- 25:09Carmen Lezeth: I've never had somebody who could help me.
- 25:11Carmen Lezeth: I've never had an assistant who can help me with all the different things I need help with.
- 25:16Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 25:17Carmen Lezeth: So again, I think you should use AI.
- 25:22Carmen Lezeth: I love AI, I'm a fan.
- 25:24Carmen Lezeth: I just think if you're going to do it and you're worried about actual people who have told you that it's royalty free or whatever, I would be more careful that people will question if you're actually creating something when actually all you're doing is prompting it.
- 25:41Rick Costa: Right, you're prompting it to do something and then it's creating it, right it's a tough one I've not shied away from saying, and when I did first tell people, oh, we got a new intro or outro, and I used AI like I didn't shy from that, I said it, you know.
- 25:57Carmen Lezeth: Right, I'll say this like Joel.
- 25:59Carmen Lezeth: You guys know Joel Joel sent me a thing, because he's going to help me direct my film, that I want to do my short Again out of the 95 things I'm going to do in the next year.
- 26:10Carmen Lezeth: But anyway, it's just a thought.
- 26:12Carmen Lezeth: But he sent me an AI thing where basically, you prompt it and it does the movie.
- 26:18Carmen Lezeth: And I was like, well, you know, I text him back.
- 26:20Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, well, I guess I won't be needing you then, so you're off the hook for being the director.
- 26:25Carmen Lezeth: And he was like I'm directing this film and I'm like I don't understand the concept.
- 26:30Carmen Lezeth: I don't understand the concept, I don't understand what this is.
- 26:32Carmen Lezeth: But I was just like I'm going to leave it alone.
- 26:34Carmen Lezeth: But how do you direct a film if I'm just going to input, like if I go into that prompt right, and it's a I think it's Google that's created this new you've seen this right when you just go in and prompt it.
- 26:51Carmen Lezeth: So if I go in and say I could direct it because I know what I want, you know what I mean, but is that really me directing?
- 27:04Carmen Lezeth: He seems to think he still needs to direct.
- 27:05Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, bitch, I can prompt the shit myself.
- 27:07Carmen Lezeth: I don't need you now.
- 27:08Carmen Lezeth: Does that mean I'm Steven Spielberg?
- 27:11Carmen Lezeth: I don't need you now.
- 27:12Carmen Lezeth: Does that mean I'm Steven Spielberg?
- 27:14Carmen Lezeth: I don't think so.
- 27:15Carmen Lezeth: We're in an interesting place.
- 27:18Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, and I don't even know if I want to do it that way.
- 27:20Carmen Lezeth: I think what's going to happen is because of AI and so much technology.
- 27:25Carmen Lezeth: I think people are going to want the real stuff.
- 27:29Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:31Rick Costa: What if we have a huge shift to everything, becomes so much AI and people start to say you know what?
- 27:39Rick Costa: There's some, I know it seems really real, but I missed the real.
- 27:44Carmen Lezeth: I think the thing about AI whenever we watch it like when I watched Star Trek next generation you know they're in space, they can't go to the beach and so to keep the crew sane, it makes sense that there's this computer and the holodeck and this ability to create things so that you can try to take a walk on the beach or whatever it is, or get help and assistance and whatever.
- 28:08Carmen Lezeth: So that makes sense.
- 28:09Carmen Lezeth: But I think what's going to happen I think I'm already kind of seeing it is that people are going to be craving to be in situations where they're actually in real life again.
- 28:20Carmen Lezeth: I don't think that's a bad thing.
- 28:22Carmen Lezeth: I think that's an actual good thing.
- 28:23Carmen Lezeth: Look at even Sinners, the movie Sinners.
- 28:25Carmen Lezeth: God, we're all over the place with this show today.
- 28:28Carmen Lezeth: Show today Ryan Coogler.
- 28:32Carmen Lezeth: He went back old school filming that.
- 28:35Carmen Lezeth: Right, you saw all the background on that.
- 28:38Carmen Lezeth: He went back with old school film and shit.
- 28:40Carmen Lezeth: I don't even know what it all means, but I was intrigued when he could have just easily used whatever the digitized version of it all is.
- 28:51Rick Costa: Giving old music, bringing old music into it, yeah, so I think, it's going to bring about it.
- 28:56Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: New is not always better.
- 29:00Carmen Lezeth: Interesting.
- 29:01Carmen Lezeth: Or maybe it's technology is not always better.
- 29:04Carmen Lezeth: That too, yeah, I think AI has a bad reputation.
- 29:10Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: I mean, think about it, the movie Hidden Figures like she was a genius in math and they're trying to use all this new math and what ended up happening?
- 29:21Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: She went back to the old math to find these figures, to get this man to land correctly.
- 29:26Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: So, like I said, new is not always better.
- 29:29Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Sometimes you have to go back.
- 29:33Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, and how do we bring this back to reputation?
- 29:37Carmen Lezeth: How do you bring it back?
- 29:40Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, no, I do.
- 29:41Carmen Lezeth: I do think AI has a bad reputation.
- 29:43Carmen Lezeth: That's an easy segue.
- 29:45Carmen Lezeth: Actually, you know, I love AI.
- 29:48Carmen Lezeth: I think it's going to be used more as a tool, but then there are people who are just scaring the hell out of everybody, saying that it's going to be worse.
- 29:54Carmen Lezeth: So I don't know, I don't know how to end this segment.
- 29:56Carmen Lezeth: You guys don't make this easy for me.
- 29:59Rick Costa: A lot of this always happens in the Christian world.
- 30:02Rick Costa: Whenever something new comes out, oh, this is going to be the Antichrist, this is going to be a tool of the Antichrist.
- 30:08Rick Costa: So now it's AI that's going to be the tool of the Antichrist.
- 30:11Rick Costa: I'm so tired of y'all.
- 30:13Rick Costa: Everything new is the Antichrist.
- 30:17Carmen Lezeth: What does the Antichrist mean for those of us who are not Christians or atheists or whatever?
- 30:22Carmen Lezeth: Listening to the show.
- 30:23Rick Costa: He's going to be like a world leader that rises up and seemingly brings peace to all the world, but then all of a sudden he's going to be like psych and cause complete havoc and try to kill everybody.
- 30:33Rick Costa: The devil.
- 30:36Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Basically Sort of yeah.
- 30:39Carmen Lezeth: If your reputation was wiped clean tomorrow, what would you do differently?
- 30:47Rick Costa: I don't think I'd do anything differently.
- 30:50Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yeah.
- 30:51Rick Costa: I is who I is and always will be.
- 30:56Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if I would do anything differently.
- 30:57Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I think if you live authentically and you do the best you can every day, that's all you got.
- 31:03Carmen Lezeth: I don't have any major skeletons in my closet that I would want to go back and fix or change.
- 31:08Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm being serious Like I don't know of any.
- 31:11Carmen Lezeth: You know, like some people have some bad stuff.
- 31:13Carmen Lezeth: It ruins their reputation.
- 31:15Carmen Lezeth: I did background checks on YouTube so I know no, I'm just kidding Whose opinion actually matters to you and why?
- 31:24Carmen Lezeth: My husband and my kids.
- 31:26Carmen Lezeth: That's it.
- 31:27Carmen Lezeth: My opinion doesn't matter of you, Eh?
- 31:30Carmen Lezeth: No, your husband and your kids.
- 31:37Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Okay, rick.
- 31:39Rick Costa: Ultimately sorry to say.
- 31:42Rick Costa: God, not sorry to say, but how did you say that?
- 31:46Rick Costa: No, I know.
- 31:48Carmen Lezeth: This isn't an atheist podcast.
- 31:50Carmen Lezeth: You can never mention God.
- 31:54Rick Costa: I'm all about the joy Ever you ask me how I feel I got to tell you the truth.
- 31:58Rick Costa: And then, other than that, my family and close friends, other than that, again, y'all don't pay my bills, so I don't care what you think about me.
- 32:05Rick Costa: Really, I mean, I want you to think nice things.
- 32:08Carmen Lezeth: You know what I care.
- 32:09Carmen Lezeth: I care about my reputation.
- 32:11Carmen Lezeth: I do, I know I know.
- 32:13Carmen Lezeth: Like I mean I don't care if you don't like me, but I care that the reason why you don't like me is because I'm being my authentic self and you can't handle it.
- 32:23Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what I mean?
- 32:23Carmen Lezeth: Like I, does that make sense?
- 32:25Carmen Lezeth: Like I know we're not supposed, like it's so funny, right, and I'm not saying you guys, but everyone does that.
- 32:31Carmen Lezeth: I don't care what people think about me and then they're talking about it for 25 minutes, but what she did, let me tell you.
- 32:38Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, if you care, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
- 32:42Carmen Lezeth: You know, Like I care what people think of me and I think it doesn't bother me if people don't like me, if the reason why they don't like me is because they don't understand or they're being ridiculous.
- 33:00Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 33:01Carmen Lezeth: If I do something unintentionally and I hurt someone that matters to me.
- 33:07Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 33:08Carmen Lezeth: I do care if I hurt somebody or I do something unintentionally, so I do care what other people think.
- 33:10Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 33:11Carmen Lezeth: Like I do care if I hurt somebody or I do something unintentionally, that, so I do care what other people think you know what I mean.
- 33:16Carmen Lezeth: I think there's a lot of these things in our heads that we've come to believe and I don't think it's actually true.
- 33:22Carmen Lezeth: It sounds nice, but I don't think it's actually true.
- 33:24Carmen Lezeth: I think we all care.
- 33:26Carmen Lezeth: We're social beings.
- 33:28Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: Yeah, as we just say, like I told you, it was a year that I started my job and what I did was I actually emailed two of the doctors I work with and I said you know, it's been a year since I started and I wanted to get your feedback on my work.
- 33:42Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: You know?
- 33:45Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: No, they were actually really good they both said I'm doing a great job and and so I mean, in a way, you know, even though you say you may not care, some people may say that they don't care.
- 33:56Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: They do care you know whether they're doing a good job.
- 33:59Cynthia Ruiz Lopez: You know with work or at home, or with their friends, people do care.
- 34:03Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I think when we talk about not caring what people think, it's actually been morphed into something different.
- 34:12Carmen Lezeth: I think what we mean is people who don't matter to us, people who are people we don't want in our lives or, like you said, people who don't pay my bills Okay, those people who don't care about.
- 34:21Carmen Lezeth: But in the big scheme of things, like especially if you watch people on Tik TOK, like big time creators who then make one mistake and everyone's hating on them or whatever you know what I mean, like and I you know, I don't know what some of these people do, but I'm like well, they did, they made one mistake and they hate them forever and then the then the creator has a choice.
- 34:44Carmen Lezeth: They can either apologize or, you know, own the mistake and move on, or they can stand in the bullshittery and make it so much worse.
- 34:52Carmen Lezeth: Do you guys know, own the mistake and move on, or they can stand in the bullshittery and make it so much worse.
- 34:54Carmen Lezeth: Do you guys know who the hat lady is?
- 34:55Carmen Lezeth: Okay, the hat lady, she's cuban and she had a huge following.
- 35:02Carmen Lezeth: I mean, she still has a huge following, especially compared to me.
- 35:05Carmen Lezeth: I have nobody.
- 35:05Carmen Lezeth: I love the people who follow me.
- 35:06Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying like, um, but she came across as somebody who really cared about, you know, latinos and everything that's happening, especially with politics that's going on, and you know a lot of these ICE abduction things that are happening with so many migrants and immigrants and whatever.
- 35:27Carmen Lezeth: I'm totally going to mess up the story a little bit, but the gist is still important.
- 35:31Carmen Lezeth: So I don't going to mess up the story a little bit, but the gist is still important.
- 35:32Carmen Lezeth: So I don't mean to lie.
- 35:33Carmen Lezeth: She was talking about how ICE raided a massage parlor and the massage parlor, clearly for people on the audio, has happy endings.
- 35:44Carmen Lezeth: Let's just put it that way.
- 35:45Carmen Lezeth: Everyone knows what that means.
- 35:46Carmen Lezeth: Okay, the massage parlor was full of Asian women and all of these women got taken by ice or whatever.
- 35:53Carmen Lezeth: And this Latina woman who seems to be an advocate and whatever and seems to be, you know, against ice or whatever, was laughing about that and saying, well, that's good, that place should be shut down because it's it's not a really good massage parlor.
- 36:07Carmen Lezeth: You know what kind of massage and those women needed to be, and she went on a tangent about it and I remember watching it being like what is wrong with this woman?
- 36:16Carmen Lezeth: Anyway, long story short.
- 36:19Carmen Lezeth: She's gotten so much from other big creators as well, backlash from the whole thing because her whole reputation has just been shot, not because she made the mistake right.
- 36:30Carmen Lezeth: She made a mistake.
- 36:32Carmen Lezeth: What she didn't realize and what other, especially Asian, big time creators were telling her is a lot of those women are sex trafficked into this country and they have to pay off their bill before they're let go to try to get a job in the United States, and they are going through the same thing that these other immigrants are going through here in this country.
- 36:56Carmen Lezeth: And you chose a lot of them.
- 36:57Carmen Lezeth: So do you think she was like oh my God, I made a mistake.
- 37:01Carmen Lezeth: I know she fucking doubled down.
- 37:05Carmen Lezeth: She doubled down and then she started going after the big time creators who pointed this shit out to her.
- 37:15Carmen Lezeth: So now everyone me too I did a video this morning and I couldn't take it in my mouth, but it's this kind of thing, like she just ruined her reputation and now what I realize is that maybe who I thought she was all along was not really true.
- 37:31Carmen Lezeth: Because that's what happens when you mess with your reputation.
- 37:34Carmen Lezeth: Right Like now I realize, like wait a minute, I was supporting her, and I don't mean financially, but I was, you know, watching her, I was following her, whatever.
- 37:42Carmen Lezeth: And now I realize she was always anti everyone else except her people.
- 37:48Carmen Lezeth: No, no, I'm, I'm not only anti everyone who hurts people who are Black and Latina.
- 37:57Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 37:58Carmen Lezeth: They must be that mix.
- 37:59Carmen Lezeth: No, I am anti anyone hurting anyone else.
- 38:05Carmen Lezeth: Period, Yep With a T.
- 38:09Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 38:10Carmen Lezeth: So she ruined her reputation.
- 38:13Carmen Lezeth: She lost so many fun.
- 38:14Carmen Lezeth: She lost me like within a minute.
- 38:15Carmen Lezeth: I couldn't believe what I was.
- 38:16Carmen Lezeth: I was like she did not just say that and I went back and checked Is this the?
- 38:20Carmen Lezeth: Maybe I'm following the wrong person?
- 38:22Carmen Lezeth: Let me just see.
- 38:25Rick Costa: I think I saw something too with a girl that she also just totally ruined her reputation, also just totally ruined her reputation.
- 38:34Rick Costa: You probably heard about this where she this she convinced this little older woman who was a little bit mentally impaired to go into the ocean and she said I'll give you 20 if you jump into the ocean not even knowing if she could swim or not, and she couldn't.
- 38:43Rick Costa: And then they're like oh that's a big time tick tocker right she must be, and then she had.
- 38:51Rick Costa: She went to some place to like say hi to the fans, and nobody showed up yeah, yeah, that's I.
- 38:56Carmen Lezeth: I don't know her name, but that that's a really big deal because she used her platform and then abused it.
- 39:04Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, because the woman could have died yeah, wow, it was really, really bad.
- 39:10Carmen Lezeth: I don't and that that to me.
- 39:12Carmen Lezeth: Here's the thing the hat lady woman, she's older like, she's older than I am Like, and I'm like I don't think you were an adult, you should know better.
- 39:21Carmen Lezeth: Like even in your initial like, cause I watched her say it, it wasn't like I you know what I mean.
- 39:26Carmen Lezeth: Like I watched her say this thing and I remember being like what is wrong with this woman?
- 39:30Carmen Lezeth: Like, does she not know that these women now have been caged somewhere?
- 39:35Carmen Lezeth: Like, what are you doing?
- 39:36Carmen Lezeth: And and like just to one more, one more thing that pissed me off, cause I just have to say this I don't know why people get mad at quote, unquote, let's just say prostitutes or women of the night or whatever.
- 39:49Carmen Lezeth: How come you don't get mad at the johns or the like that's who just gets me so angry?
- 39:57Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 39:58Carmen Lezeth: Like you get mad at the wrong people.
- 40:00Carmen Lezeth: Why are you getting mad at the victims who are trying to make a living and shouldn't, in this fucking country, have to be doing this kind of work anyway?
- 40:08Carmen Lezeth: Okay, that, let me just.
- 40:09Carmen Lezeth: Let me just back up.
- 40:11Carmen Lezeth: Yes, that content creator who I don't know what her name is.
- 40:15Carmen Lezeth: I don't follow her, but I saw that no one showed up and she had like a greet and meet because she was trying to re-establish herself again because she had made this huge mistake and did what she did and nobody showed up.
- 40:26Carmen Lezeth: But then I thought it was also bad that people went in there and were like take you know showing, ha ha, take you know showing video of no one showing up.
- 40:33Carmen Lezeth: I'm like okay, because now you're getting clicks and money for making fun of somebody who's clearly hurting.
- 40:39Carmen Lezeth: No matter what someone does, if you're really a good person, it's not that you wish ill will on them.
- 40:46Carmen Lezeth: You wish for them to learn a lesson and move forward, but you don't then turn around and make money off of them.
- 40:52Carmen Lezeth: But everybody's always making money off of somebody.
- 40:54Carmen Lezeth: I saw that though.
- 40:57Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, okay, the only opinion that matters to me is all of my audience.
- 41:03Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm just kidding, we got to close out with that.
- 41:08Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, I think opinions of other people matter to us because we're social beings.
- 41:10Carmen Lezeth: I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
- 41:12Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, I think opinions of other people matter to us because we're social beings.
- 41:15Carmen Lezeth: I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
- 41:17Carmen Lezeth: But, like Rick said, if they ain't paying the bills, you don't need to cry about it, you know.
- 41:22Carmen Lezeth: But, okay, well, thank you for that, guys.
- 41:26Carmen Lezeth: That was an all over the place joyful Sunday conversation.
- 41:32Carmen Lezeth: That started with reputation and I guess we'll end with reputation and Cynthia, thank you, you're going to find us some money Very excited, leaving that.
- 41:40Carmen Lezeth: Now I just need.
- 41:42Carmen Lezeth: I'm looking for $80,000.
- 41:44Rick Costa: So if you could do that, all I got to do is write a hit song, and then we're good to go.
- 41:51Carmen Lezeth: Rick you can just go and put a little note that AI helped you, what credits do and you know what.
- 42:00Carmen Lezeth: Can I just finalize something with that?
- 42:02Carmen Lezeth: Everybody is struggling with this and I'm not saying that my opinion is the right one.
- 42:06Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying everybody is struggling with this right now.
- 42:09Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying this whole thing like are you actually creating something if you're using AI?
- 42:15Carmen Lezeth: I don't know.
- 42:17Carmen Lezeth: Right, I say no, but you know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know If somebody's editing your guitar, making that's different.
- 42:27Rick Costa: Yeah, I have to turn it over with the actual songs that I'm doing, and the last one I did I wrote the lyrics myself, so at least I can say that much.
- 42:36Carmen Lezeth: This is my song.
- 42:36Carmen Lezeth: No, that's for sure.
- 42:37Carmen Lezeth: I think that's for sure, that's for sure.
- 42:40Rick Costa: And it was a song about grief and I sent it to certain people that I know are in it and they were like that was so beautiful and, yes, I cried.
- 42:46Rick Costa: I was like I just want to see a good song so beautiful.
- 42:50Rick Costa: Are you going to sing it for?
- 42:54Carmen Lezeth: us?
- 42:54Carmen Lezeth: No, all right.
