- 1:31Either way, look for me.
- 1:33I'm here, I'm around, and uh I'd love to hear from you.
- 1:37Now, I've been asked over and over and over again by many people, just how strong is the United States Navy.
- 1:45Is it true that we could defeat any Navy on the face of the Earth, including the Chinese Communist Party Navy, the Russian Navy, any Navy on Earth?
- 1:54And uh my answer is without a doubt, absolutely.
- 1:59We are the most capable war fighting machine on the face of the earth.
- 2:04And because I've said that time and time again, not only here on this broadcast, but on news broadcast on the TV networks, people are now asking me to articulate a little bit more on that, to prove it, to share with us what you know about our Navy and that many other people may not know.
- 2:24Well, I'll tell you how strong the Navy is.
- 2:26I'm gonna share that with you right now, give you an idea of uh how powerful we are and why we use that slogan, that strategy that works, peace through strength.
- 2:37America's Navy, your Navy, all right, the good old United States Navy is widely regarded as the world's most powerful Navy with unmatched ability to operate not locally, folks, not just in shallow waters, not just in what we call brown water, which is shallow water, but in blue water.
- 2:59We are a powerful blue water navy.
- 3:01Now I know many of you have heard that term uh over and over again on the news media.
- 3:06Well, we have a Navy that is very capable of defeating any foe in the blue water.
- 3:11Well, that's our oceans.
- 3:12That's the largest bodies of water on the face of the earth.
- 3:16Yep.
- 3:16That's what we can do any place on the face of the earth.
- 3:20Destroy an enemy looking to destroy the United States of America.
- 3:24And by the way, we have enemies, as I'm sure you are well aware of, that want to destroy the United States of America.
- 3:32Right now, as I speak to you, uh there are many people who are aware, especially those of you who are listening from the Mideast.
- 3:40I'm talking about our sailors aboard these wonderful, beautiful, powerful machines that you make work, by the way.
- 3:45That you may you are heroes.
- 3:47Every single enlisted person and officer on any United States warship right now in the Mid East, in fact, around the world, okay?
- 3:57God bless you.
- 3:58And the mainstream media may lead you to believe that, well, you know, the people are not really in support of you.
- 4:04Take it from me.
- 4:05I'm not just saying this to make you feel good.
- 4:07I'm beyond that, that type of thing.
- 4:10I'm gonna say this because it's fact.
- 4:12America loves you.
- 4:13America's proud of you.
- 4:14You stand strong, stand tall, we're with you.
- 4:16And we pray every day that God protects those of you who are protecting us from those maniacs over there in Iran.
- 4:23They're crazy.
- 4:24They're out of their minds.
- 4:25We all know that.
- 4:26Uh, but the only way to deal with them is through strong firepower.
- 4:31And you've got it.
- 4:32You are it, and we're with you.
- 4:34They've heard from the Navy already.
- 4:37Well, they're going to be hearing from the Navy, I understand, uh, again, sooner rather than later.
- 4:43But God bless you.
- 4:44So here's how strong our Navy is, folks.
- 4:46All right, I want you to think about something.
- 4:48And I'm just gonna go get away from the Mideast, all right.
- 4:51Well, we know what's going on there, and uh we'll we'll kind of do a broadcast particularly on the Navy in the Mideast at some point in time.
- 4:58But uh something that not has been widely broadcasted, only broadcasted at times from the main mainstream media to bring on the critics.
- 5:07And you'll know what I'm talking about as I progress here with our conversation.
- 5:11All right, so let's talk about the United States Navy's role in the war on drugs.
- 5:17What do you think of that?
- 5:18Hmm.
- 5:19Boy, that already brings up some questions from the the left, uh, from liberals, from people who are uh questioning, wow, should we be uh involved in a war on drugs?
- 5:30Should we be uh using military might to fight uh what is amounting to civilian criminal activity?
- 5:37Are you kidding me?
- 5:39This is a war, all right?
- 5:41A war on narco-terrorists.
- 5:43We're dealing with terrorist organizations.
- 5:45We're dealing with enemies, either directly or indirectly wanting to destroy us.
- 5:51You don't think the Chinese Communist Party is involved in proliferating, transporting and deploying people with drugs to our country to kill Americans?
- 6:01How about other enemies we have in the Mid East?
- 6:04I mean the Iranians, you think they're not involved in this stuff?
- 6:06Uh and these terrorist organizations sponsored by, paid for by our enemies.
- 6:11So when I hear people say, uh, the United States Navy, you know, why are we using them to fight uh drug dealers?
- 6:17Drug dealers, these are narco-terrorists, for goodness sakes.
- 6:22I say send the Navy in.
- 6:24Go and do what you gotta do to take them off the face of the earth.
- 6:27Apparently they took my advice and the advice of others.
- 6:31Because finally, after decades, not weeks, not months, not years, but decades of uh having this so-called war on drugs and pretty much not losing it, but lost it years ago, we are now winning it.
- 6:47We are now eliminating a threat day in and day out that has taken countless millions of Americans' lives.
- 6:55With a lot of talk and no action.
- 6:58Now we have a Department of War, we have a president of the United States, we have a joint chiefs of staff, we have the United States military saying enough is enough.
- 7:00We have a president of the United States.
- 7:01We have a joint chiefs of staff.
- 7:03We have the United States military saying enough is enough.
- 7:07And as well as you, America, the American citizens.
- 7:07And as well as you, America, the American citizens.
- 7:12Enough is enough.
- 7:12Enough is enough.
- 7:13It's about time we deal with these narco-terrorists.
- 7:13It's about time we deal with these narco terrorists.
- 7:16Yep.
- 7:16Yep.
- 7:16That's part of being America out loud, right?
- 7:16That's part of being America out loud, right?
- 7:20That's part of being on this network, America Out Loud News.
- 7:20That's part of being on this network, America Out Loud News.
- 7:25Yep, the United States military, they're doing their job.
- 7:25Yep, the United States military, they're doing their job.
- 7:28We are proud of them.
- 7:28We are proud of them.
- 7:30And the Association of the United States Navy, as well as other nonprofit organizations, we have the ability, the capabilities, and the will to be out loud.
- 7:42Yep.
- 7:42That's what we can do.
- 7:43I know a lot of our uniformed military personnel from the officer rank all the way to the enlisted ranks.
- 7:49They want they want to get out loud, but they've got uh the code of military justice, which I fully support, and they can't say the things and do the things we we can do.
- 7:59But we can do it.
- 8:00We can do it on their behalf.
- 8:03But we're civil, we're articulate, we'll bring facts, and we will stand strong with them.
- 8:08So that's a good marriage, don't you think, folks?
- 8:10Those of us who have retired from the military, our job is to support the military, not hurt them, and I've said this over and over again.
- 8:17I I get disturbed, I mean, really disturbed when a lot of these retired military people go on the air, and this case say, well, you know, there may be an issue with the Navy.
- 8:27And what is that issue?
- 8:29What is that issue?
- 8:30Well, again, we go back to the legal issue.
- 8:33Is it appropriate to use the military might of the United States Navy to blow people out of the water and to watch them die?
- 8:40Are you kidding me?
- 8:42Are you kidding me?
- 8:44Half of what we're hearing on the news, well, I'm not gonna say half.
- 8:47I'm gonna say 90.99% of what we're hearing on the mainstream media are from people that know nothing, see nothing, and only only want to inflame inflame the rhetoric that is already being spread about our military involved in the war on drugs.
- 9:04And like I said, we'll get into that issue in debt some other time.
- 9:07But but I gotta tell you, our Navy, our wonderful, beautiful Navy.
- 9:11Would you believe we have more than 200 deployable combat ships and about 4,000 operational aircraft, and plans are underway now to increase the fleet to over 300 ships.
- 9:24Man, I've got to tell you, it reminds me of the days of Ronald Reagan, President Ronald Reagan, all right.
- 9:30He wanted a 600 ship fleet.
- 9:32Man, he funded the Navy.
- 9:34He made sure that we would have a strong, strong Navy as a great deterrent against evil around this world, against enemies who want to destroy us.
- 9:44Teddy Roosevelt, look this guy up, all right.
- 9:46I mean, he was a great president.
- 9:47I've run, I've read two or three biographies about him.
- 9:50And I understand he was an assistant secretary or under-secretary of the United States Navy before he became president.
- 9:59So our Navy has a long history of people in government who served in the Navy.
- 10:05There's your experts.
- 10:07Not the news media outlets, not the talking heads, the pundits, if you will, that know little or nothing about what we're doing today in the United States Navy, United States military as a whole.
- 10:20But anyway, uh that's that's a lot of firepower.
- 10:23200 deployable combat ships, 4,000 operational aircraft.
- 10:27Man, they have a lot of a lot of aircraft there, folks.
- 10:30We got 11 uh active aircraft carriers, and you know, they're supported by these carriers, they don't hang around alone, you know.
- 10:37They got some company.
- 10:38Uh how about this, folks?
- 10:40How about uh a lot of advanced destroyers, submarines, amphibious ships, and boy, I'll tell you much more.
- 10:48Now, our Navy, we've got about, and I am proud to say I was part of this, and still part of it.
- 10:53All right, we've got about 300,000 active duty sailors, and over 100,000 members of the United States Navy reserves.
- 11:01Now, we're all one Navy.
- 11:02We that term Navy reserve, I think is fading away or it's really gone away for quite some time.
- 11:08We're one Navy, we're one nation, we're one America.
- 11:11We are the United States Navy.
- 11:12But anyway, if you were to divide it up, 300,000 active duty and 100,000 members of the Navy Reserve.
- 11:19Now, all of these Navy personnel, they're trained for what?
- 11:23They're trained for rapid deployment, sustained, what we call sustained forward presence, meaning they go out to sea for periods of time that take them away from home six months, three months, maybe a year at times, or if they're in a combat situation, maybe longer.
- 11:39But they're trained to do that.
- 11:41Uh they're trained in crisis response.
- 11:43We've seen our Navy go around the world.
- 11:45An earthquake here, uh, an earthquake there, uh, some sort of tragedy in this country or that country.
- 11:52Who's first to respond with food, with water, with the help these people need in order to survive the crisis that they're involved in?
- 11:59The United States Navy.
- 12:02That's who's first to respond, and many times first to arrive.
- 12:07So when you have our U.S.
- 12:09Navy involved in crisis responses and forward presence and sustained uh uh ability to stay put in order to send a message to our enemies, peace through strength, they're not just doing it in our hemisphere, folks, globally.
- 12:25Our Navy's all over the world.
- 12:27Yeah, Pacific, Atlantic, this ocean, that ocean, hostile waters, peaceful waters.
- 12:33We're all over the place.
- 12:35And we're flying old glory.
- 12:37And I have said it over and over again.
- 12:39When our enemies get on the shoreline of their country and take their binoculars and kind of look at the horizon back and forth, back and forth, and suddenly they see a massive aircraft carrier flying the American flag, and then they look to the right and to the left.
- 12:56There's the destroyers.
- 12:58Can't see the subs, but they gotta know they're out there.
- 13:01They see the destroyers, and boy, I'll tell you, they begin to think twice.
- 13:06We better not pull the trigger.
- 13:08Look what the United States Navy has off our coast.
- 13:12Hmm.
- 13:13Pretty pretty scary for them, pretty good for us.
- 13:17So I've got to tell you, you know, the strength of the United States Navy, and we know it's strong now, right?
- 13:22We know we're tough.
- 13:24We're the king of the sea.
- 13:25I've got to tell you, reflects not only its overall size in the military might and hardware that we have, but we've got, I mean, the most advanced technological superiority.
- 13:37We've got modernization that has been sustained and is continuously going forward.
- 13:43We've got, I mean, extensive operational experience to all the advancements we've made, and we've got what I believe is the most important, important factor that reflects our overall size and power, is that the men and women serving.
- 13:57Some of them right out of high school.
- 13:59We don't see them, right?
- 14:00Them, right?
- 14:00We don't see them.
- 14:00We don't see them.
- 14:01We don't, I do, you don't.
- 14:01We don't, I do, you don't.
- 14:03We see the protesters right out of high school, on college campuses, you know, death to America, down with America, burning the American flag.
- 14:03We see the protesters right out of high school on college campuses, you know, death to America, down with America, burning the American flag.
- 14:11But there's another side to the story.
- 14:11But there's another side to the story.
- 14:13It's our men and women in the United States, military, Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force that are serving their country wearing a uniform and flying, not burning, flying the American flag from sea to shining sea.
- 14:13It's our men and women in the United States, military, Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force, that are serving their country wearing a uniform and flying, not burning, flying the American flag from sea to shining sea.
- 14:29That.
- 14:29That, to me, needs to be marketed more, if you will.
- 14:34Spread more, and you can do it.
- 14:36Be part of America out loud, be out loud for our military, be out loud for our Navy.
- 14:41We'll send you information for goodness sakes.
- 14:43I'll send you a summary of some of the things we're doing.
- 14:46I'll let you know on our broadcast at length what we're doing at the Association of the United States Navy for and with our Navy.
- 14:53But I've got to tell you, folks, we've got young men and women, exceptional men and women who are part of our uh defensive and exceptional offensive capabilities to keep America safe to keep America strong.
- 15:08I mean, that that's something that we need to let not only the people of our country know, but the entire world know.
- 15:15Now, we've got bases worldwide, all right, and we need supply systems set up worldwide to make sure that our Navy is well equipped, that our sailors, the officers, the enlisted, all of them on those ships and on the bases worldwide are taken care of, as well as their families.
- 15:34We do that here at the AUSN.
- 15:35And again, I'll share that with you in a bit.
- 15:39So, where are our Navy ships deployed?
- 15:42Many of you, in fact, most of you probably never saw an aircraft carrier.
- 15:46Never saw a destroyer, never saw a submarine.
- 15:48Well, I urge you, find out where the nearest Navy base is.
- 15:52And uh, you know what?
- 15:54Why not pay a visit?
- 15:56Yeah, you could call their uh uh bases and you could call the uh people on there who will take you on tours.
- 16:02I know Norfolk does, at least they used to.
- 16:04Norfolk Naval Air Station, Pensacola.
- 16:07There's a submarine base in Connecticut.
- 16:10Yeah.
- 16:11If you need to find out where a base is near you, again, get in touch with us.
- 16:14We'll we'll find out and we'll send you the information.
- 16:18Uh listen, we've got uh uh amazing things going.
- 16:22Our overall size includes the world's largest, most powerful, potent, lethal aircraft carrier force.
- 16:28And they're supported supported by the nuclear subs and those highly capable destroyers, which together, which together will send that message, peace through strength.
- 16:40And if our enemies think that we're faking, that we're bluffing, hmm.
- 16:46They might want to think twice.
- 16:47They might want to do a little bit about uh researching history as to uh the United States Navy and its potent power.
- 16:55So we've got naval forces in the Western Pacific, in the Mediterranean, in the Indian Ocean, and I've got to tell you, they're near near coast of uh uh both friend and foe nations all over the world.
- 17:07They nowhere around.
- 17:08Everybody knows the United States Navy is alive and well.
- 17:13Now, the U.S.
- 17:14Navy size, its technology, its nuclear fleet, its global reach, and highly trained personnel.
- 17:20That is what makes us the most powerful Navy on Earth.
- 17:24More powerful than China.
- 17:26Chinese would want you to believe, well, we're powerful.
- 17:29We can defeat the U.S.
- 17:30Navy.
- 17:30I've I've read those reports and heard those rumors.
- 17:33No, China, you're never going to defeat the United States Navy.
- 17:36Nobody is.
- 17:37Uh uh ain't gonna happen.
- 17:39And you know, folks, the Chinese are well aware that what I'm saying with regard to that is true.
- 17:46Because I've also read reports that they've discussed the power we have in the Pacific, and they know now is not the time to tangle with us.
- 17:55But notice I said, now is not the time.
- 17:58Meaning they are building carriers, they're building destroyers, they're building uh platforms that will be going uh far from the Chinese coast, you know where they're headed.
- 18:08We all know it's no secret, Taiwan is in their eyesight.
- 18:12But saying that, that leads us to the point where we as America must continuously support the funding of the United States Navy.
- 18:23We must continuously support the men and women serving in the United States Navy.
- 18:28And let me add the Coast Guard too, they're a sea service.
- 18:31And let me add the merchant marines, they're a sea service.
- 18:34We're all one big family, you know, folks, when it comes to defending this country on the high seas.
- 18:40Great partnerships the United States Navy has with the Coast Guard and merchant marines and others.
- 18:46But the United States Navy can do what no other branch of service can do.
- 18:49Project our power, to show them physically on the high seas without firing one shot, our power.
- 18:57Now, one might say, well, can't the Air Force do it?
- 19:00Can't the Army do it?
- 19:02Well, you got to send those jets over hostile territory.
- 19:04You got to send our troops into hostile territory for those enemies of the United States to see that our ships do not go into their waters.
- 19:12We're just close, close to the line that you would say of between the international waters and their territorial waters.
- 19:23They could see us, and they know we're there.
- 19:26And they're scared to death.
- 19:28Now, regard the war on drugs, all right?
- 19:31Let's get back to that, to get back to that because that's something I want to emphasize regarding the might and power of the United States Navy and our missions, our missions.
- 19:41Well, of course, our mission is to fight and win wars.
- 19:43That's what this is all about.
- 19:45Not a big huge war against narco-terrorists, but a war nonetheless.
- 19:50So, the U.S.
- 19:52Navy has carried out, I mean, I I I guess at this point, a hundred or so airstrikes uh on vessels in the Caribbean and the Eastern Pacific.
- 20:00And not only airstrikes, some of the firepower has come directly from our ships, uh, blowing up some of these boats carrying uh lethal drugs to other nations that will eventually uh get the legal and lethal drugs, I'm sorry, lethal drugs to our country.
- 20:16All right, I got some dates for you.
- 20:18How about September 2nd, 2025?
- 20:20That was the first airstrike, first one in the Caribbean on a Venezuelan link boat.
- 20:25What were they carrying?
- 20:26Bad lethal drugs that eventually would come to the United States.
- 20:30October 29, 2025.
- 20:33Strikes began in the Eastern Pacific.
- 20:35November 4th, 2025, again, strikes in the Eastern Pacific, April 11th, 2026, strikes in the Caribbean again.
- 20:43April 13th, 26th, Eastern Pacific, April 14th, 26th, Eastern Pacific.
- 20:50April 15th, 26, strikes in the Pacific, April 19th, 2026 again, strikes in the Eastern Pacific.
- 20:58Need I go on, folks?
- 20:58Do you get the point?
- 21:00Uh, you know, I find it amazing that these narco terrorists haven't gotten a message yet.
- 21:00You know, I find it amazing that these narco-terrorists haven't gotten a message yet.
- 21:05And I guess they believe the loss of life and the loss of their product, which is the narcotics, is the cost of doing business.
- 21:05And I guess they believe the loss of life and the loss of their product, which is the narcotics, is the cost of doing business.
- 21:14I've heard that time and time again that they don't care who dies and how much of their narcotics goes to the bottom of the ocean, it's the cost of doing business.
- 21:14I've heard that time and time again, that they don't care who dies and how much of their narcotics goes to the bottom of the ocean, it's the cost of doing business.
- 21:23But my point is this we're out there fighting a war.
- 21:23But my point is this we're out there fighting a war.
- 21:27And one might say, oh, but these are small boats and these are innocent people.
- 21:27And one might say, well, but these are small boats.
- 21:31Innocent?
- 21:32Do you really believe that?
- 21:34Yeah, but maybe they're going to some peasants and they're giving them a lot of money.
- 21:38Maybe they're forcing them to do that.
- 21:40It's possible.
- 21:42But they're still committing a crime.
- 21:44All right.
- 21:45They're committing a crime.
- 21:46And unfortunately, if that's the case, that's not our fault.
- 21:49We gotta go after the drugs, and we gotta put the narco-terrorists out of business.
- 21:54Oh, what do we do?
- 21:55What have we done for decades?
- 21:57Oh, please don't cross the border with your drugs.
- 22:00Oh, we've caught some uh dealers.
- 22:03Uh oh, they've gone to court, but the judge let them go.
- 22:05I'm sick and tired of that.
- 22:07Now, instead of judges dealing with this on the back end of it, and I I believe in justice, criminal justice.
- 22:14I believe in that.
- 22:15If these narco-terrorists could be captured and brought to justice, that'd be fine.
- 22:19But you think that they are gonna give up.
- 22:22No, they're gonna go down fighting.
- 22:24Just take a look at Mexico.
- 22:26Mexico is in dire need of a military force that will destroy the narco-terrorists in that country.
- 22:32Has it happened yet?
- 22:34Maybe it will.
- 22:34Hasn't happened yet.
- 22:36You know, the president of uh Mexico, I understand, has made it pretty clear to uh President Trump and our administration that uh they don't want U.S.
- 22:45military forces coming into Mexico.
- 22:47Well, that's their country, they have a right to say that.
- 22:50But we could make sure they don't come here.
- 22:52That's right.
- 22:53Uh look at the only language that bad guys understand, the only language that I'm talking about, evil bad guys that that that will not hesitate to kill you.
- 23:03And they have.
- 23:04They've killed people.
- 23:05You've read they've tortured and killed people to get their narcotics into America.
- 23:09The only language they understand is the law that they live by.
- 23:14And that's the law of the most powerful.
- 23:17Now, right now, the most powerful is the United States Navy.
- 23:22That is what's important.
- 23:23The U.S.
- 23:24Navy operations in the Caribbean, the Pacific, and elsewhere on the world with regard to the war on drugs, have one task, and they're doing a good job.
- 23:32And that task is to disrupt narco-terrorist networks and reduce drug trafficking into the United States.
- 23:40What is wrong with that?
- 23:41Why there are people opposed to that?
- 23:43They bring up the legal issues and this issue and that issue, committee meetings, investigations, on and on and on.
- 23:49Our men and women in the United States, Navy, Coast Guard, all our forces, my goodness, they're putting their lives on the line so that we could live in peace, so that we can live in freedom.
- 24:00And I think about our children and our grandchildren.
- 24:04We don't do something now, they're gonna be left with that mess.
- 24:07And by the way, left with maybe a million more Americans killed as a result of the narcotics being proliferated in our country.
- 24:14I've seen enough of that as a detective lieutenant in a police department.
- 24:17You all know I served on a PD.
- 24:19I've worked narcotics fast horses.
- 24:21I've seen young men and women dead.
- 24:24Parents screaming because their kids died as a result of narcotics that was brought over here by the narco-terrorists that were sending to the bottom of the ocean.
- 24:35We ought to keep that up, folks.
- 24:37We ought to keep doing that job.
- 24:39Well, that's about it, folks.
- 24:41I believe it or not, I ran out of time.
- 24:42I wanted to talk to you about the AUSN, but I will.
- 24:45I will, perhaps, maybe on our next broadcast.
- 24:47But all I gotta say is, you know what?
- 24:50God bless our Navy.
- 24:52Our Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guards, Space Force, all of them.
- 24:55God bless them.
- 24:56And uh I also say to our Navy, to our troops in the Mideast who are listening to this broadcast, I'm sure, and others around the world.
- 25:04You know what?
- 25:05You don't hear it enough, but you're gonna hear it from me quite often, and from the American people and from America out loud.
- 25:12We can't be out loud enough in saying these three words.
- 25:16Job well done.

- 25:22Someone out on the sea and ships.
- 25:25They were guardians on the mighty waters.
- 25:28Again, job well done.
- 25:30God bless you.
- 25:31God bless our Navy and all of our arms horses, and God bless America.

- 30:55Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for joining me during our second half of our one hour broadcast here at America Outloud.news.
- 31:04Now, during this second half of our broadcast, uh I bring to you some good news, and that good news comes from the Word of God.
- 31:12Yes, indeed.
- 31:13Uh we here at America Out Loud.news, we even talk about God.
- 31:16Not many uh broadcast networks do that, but we do that here.
- 31:21We're not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- 31:23We're not ashamed to say, hey, look at uh we can't uh do things uh uh without uh divine intervention at times, and I could tell you, based on my life, uh my life as a police officer, as a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy, and of course now retired.
- 31:39Uh my the life that God has given me uh has been one of great blessings, and I've learned uh in that life, uh through thick and thin.
- 31:49Sometimes, you know, we go through some trials and tribulations, and we ask the question, why God?
- 31:54Why me?
- 31:55Uh why does this happen to me?
- 31:57I'm a good person.
- 31:59Uh I I pray and I do this and I do that.
- 32:02Uh I don't hurt anybody, and on and on and on.
- 32:05And uh look at we're human.
- 32:06All right, we're human.
- 32:07Of course we ask questions when we run into very difficult times.
- 32:10Uh but the fact of the matter is we've got to answer one question, one question of many questions, of course, with regard to our very own lives.
- 32:20And I'm gonna ask you a question, and I want you to think about it for a minute before you answer it to yourself.
- 32:27What is your reality?
- 32:29What's real to you?
- 32:31Now, is it your understanding that the reality is shaped just by material wealth, professional advancement, social status, and other worldly pursuits?
- 32:42Because that's what most people will answer.
- 32:45Their reality is, well, I got a great job.
- 32:48Got a great marriage, have a great family.
- 32:51I'm advancing in my profession.
- 32:53Uh now I've climbed from this uh social status level to where I am now, and uh all these other pursuits that I've uh embarked upon uh as long as I've lived, at least in my adult life, I've been able to succeed.
- 33:07Then there are others who will say, Well, you know what, I've tried and I've tried, and uh I have no material wealth, and uh as far as my profession's concerned, uh, haven't done very well there.
- 33:18Social status, well, uh, I would be at the lower ring of it, people would say.
- 33:22And as far as worldly pursuits, what is there to pursue?
- 33:26Those are individuals who have given up.
- 33:28And I've got to tell you, you want to stick around for a minute and listen to what else I have to say about reality.
- 33:35Now, Webster, we all know Daniel Webster, learned about him in elementary school, right?
- 33:39The guy that wrote the dictionary.
- 33:41Well, he defines reality as a real event.
- 33:45Now, listen to me, a real event, a real entity, and our state of affairs.
- 33:51That's what he says uh uh reality is all about.
- 33:54And uh I could tell you probably uh to shorten that up.
- 33:58Reality is simply what we can see, what we can feel, what we can hear, and what we can touch.
- 34:05Nothing more and nothing less.
- 34:07That's what reality is all about.
- 34:09Now, what we need to do is to understand that uh uh and and it's very interesting you know, when I look at what reality is, because there is something that all of us say we know about.
- 34:21There's a person who we talk about uh from time to time and uh kind of kind of share with people that uh we we do know him.
- 34:30All right.
- 34:30Now you might be saying, What in the world am I talking about?
- 34:34Well, here's what I'm talking about, folks.
- 34:36I'm talking about this.
- 34:38I find it striking.
- 34:39I mean, really striking that many people readily accept as real whatever they see, whatever they hear, whatever they feel, whatever they touch, right?
- 34:49I mean, it's there, right?
- 34:50Look, look, I touch the table, uh, it's real.
- 34:52I touch this microphone, it's real.
- 34:55But yet, but yet they reject the reality of the one who impacts their lives every single day.
- 35:00Your lives every single day.
- 35:02Now, who in the world am I talking about?
- 35:02Now, who in the world am I talking about?
- 35:04I'm talking about God.
- 35:04I'm talking about God.
- 35:07Hmm.
- 35:07Hmm.
- 35:07Think about that one.
- 35:07Think about that one.
- 35:09On many occasions, I've heard individuals express uncertainty about whether God, who by the way, has a name, Jesus Christ, is real.
- 35:09On many occasions, I've heard individuals express uncertainty about whether God, who by the way has a name, Jesus Christ, is real.
- 35:19You know, I wonder.
- 35:19You know, I wonder, I kind of wonder why people will kind of reject the notion of God.
- 35:20I I I I kind of wonder why people will kind of reject the notion of God.
- 35:26Uh uh, you know, well, they say they believe in God.
- 35:26You know, well, they say they believe in God.
- 35:28Well, Satan believes in God.
- 35:28Well, Satan believes in God.
- 35:29He had a
- 35:29He had a conversation with God.
- 35:31Remember that.
- 35:32Have you read your Bible?
- 35:33I'm sure many of you who have read your Bible.
- 35:35Satan had conversations with Jesus Christ, even challenged him.
- 35:39Challenged him to say, hey, you know, get forsake your father.
- 35:42You know, right, he's there.
- 35:44We know about it.
- 35:45Bow down to me and I'll give you the world.
- 35:47So we know Satan, Lucifer.
- 35:49He that guy has a name.
- 35:51Imagine that.
- 35:52Uh he has uh uh tried to create this uh idea that he would be the king of kings and lord of lords.
- 35:59But Jesus rejected that because the reality of Jesus was not what he heard, not what he touched, all right?
- 36:07The reality of Jesus is not what he saw.
- 36:09The reality of Jesus is what, folks?
- 36:12The reality of Jesus was his Father in heaven.
- 36:16And a lot of these people often explain that they find it difficult to believe in someone they have never seen in person.
- 36:25Hmm.
- 36:26Think about that.
- 36:28I've had people actually tell me, well, you know, if I saw God in person, you know, that's a whole other story.
- 36:33I mean, how can you not believe that someone exists if you are in their presence, that they're right in front of you, looking at you eyeball eyeball?
- 36:42Reminds me of Thomas.
- 36:44Remember that guy?
- 36:45He didn't believe Jesus Christ was in that room, that upper room, until he saw the uh marks on his uh hand, right?
- 36:53Think about that, folks.
- 36:54Thomas, the doubting Thomas, that's where that comes from.
- 36:57All the disciples said this is Jesus.
- 36:59Hi, Tom, this is Jesus.
- 37:00He's standing right here.
- 37:01I don't believe it's him.
- 37:03I don't believe it's him.
- 37:04The only way I'll believe it's him, I gotta see the marks in his hand.
- 37:08And so today people feel that way too.
- 37:11They say those things like, well, you know what?
- 37:13I don't believe in God until I see him.
- 37:16Or I believe there's a God, but you know what?
- 37:19He's somewhere in outer space and he's not uh really paying attention to me.
- 37:23He's got so many problems and difficulties to deal with.
- 37:26What would he want to do with me?
- 37:28Now, how about this, folks?
- 37:30Here's my response to these people.
- 37:32Now, listen very, very carefully, all right.
- 37:35I answer their question with a question, which we're not supposed to, I understand, but I do it anyway.
- 37:43Here's what I ask them.
- 37:44Do you believe that George Washington was the first president of the United States of America?
- 37:50And most respond in the affirmative.
- 37:54Yeah, believe it or not, there are some who have no idea who Washington is.
- 37:57This is the times we live in, but uh, what can I what can I say, folks?
- 38:02Anyway, I then ask when they when they tell me yes, state they believe in George Washington, they believe he existed, they believe every single thing that they've read about him.
- 38:12So then I asked them this question.
- 38:14When did you personally meet him?
- 38:16When did you personally speak with him?
- 38:18At which point, folks, I've got to tell you, you get the deer in the headlights look, and the conversation typically falls silent, because they got to know exactly what I was driving at.
- 38:32My point was clear.
- 38:33The reality of God is affirmed by scripture, by reason, and personal experience.
- 38:39Each person who had a personal experience with Jesus Christ testified to his existence and his involvement in their lives, and they put it down on paper.
- 38:50Probably back then on stone or whatever they had, but you get the point.
- 38:54They put it down on paper.
- 38:57In much the same way, the historical reality of President George Washington and of many other figures we know through recorded history is supported by what?
- 39:08Written accounts or history books, right?
- 39:10Isn't the Bible a written account of the history of Jesus Christ?
- 39:13Of God in the lives of man?
- 39:16Reasonable inference and testimony of those who lived during that time.
- 39:21So you got the testimonies of people who lived in the 1700s, who talked to, hung around with, and realized that uh, you know what, they they got to write some history down about the president of the United States, the first one, George Washington, and what he and others, like Jefferson and Adams, I mean, that whole crew down there who wrote the uh Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, they felt that they had to write that down so that people in the future, meaning you and me, all right, in this 21st century would know that there was a person who ran this country, there were people who put this country together, and that there are a lot of guidelines that they felt that we should know about.
- 40:07How about that, folks?
- 40:09Now, I go back to the question.
- 40:12Why don't people believe in God?
- 40:14Or why do people believe that, you know what, he's just uh kind of a myth, or or that, yeah, there's a God, but he didn't do much.
- 40:22I mean, or he, you know, he's just there, he's just hanging out in heaven, all right.
- 40:26But with all the history written about Jesus Christ, about God Almighty.
- 40:31And I gotta tell you, folks, I don't need any other book than the Bible to find out that reality, reality in our lives is not only what we see on earth, but the real reality is God, because he created everything else that is reality.
- 40:51So it's reasonable to conclude, right, that Washington and others who uh employed writers to preserve speeches and good counsel and correspondence, so that future generations might learn from them.
- 41:03It's reasonable, right, to believe that.
- 41:04So why is it why are many people quick to question the testimonies and the writings of the apostles and the disciples and Jesus himself?
- 41:15Hmm.
- 41:16Perplexing to me.
- 41:18Really, I mean it.
- 41:19I mean, why is it that we accept that we can what we can see, that we can hear, that we can touch, etc.
- 41:25But when it comes down to uh not doing those things with regard to a personal uh encounter, I suppose, with people, we don't tend to believe it other than what was written by man.
- 41:37Hmm, with the exception of what was written by man via the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God.
- 41:46So, how about Genesis 1-1?
- 41:49Right?
- 41:49The reality of God begins right there, because right there in Genesis 1-1, we see the affirming of God's existence.
- 41:58In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:00God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:02Do we need more?
- 42:02Do we need more?
- 42:03Do we need more than that than to understand that this is what it's all about?
- 42:03Do we need more than that than to understand that this is what it's all about?
- 42:08In the beginning, that God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:08In the beginning, that God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:12That was the beginning of it all.
- 42:12That was the beginning of it all.
- 42:14No, not uh in the year this way in the year 20,640 uh years ago, not in the year one, but in the beginning.
- 42:14No, not uh in the year this way in the year 20,640 uh years ago, not in the year one, but in the beginning.
- 42:24You can't go past the beginning.
- 42:24You can't go past the beginning.
- 42:26There's nowhere, I mean, where do you go?
- 42:26There's nowhere, I mean, where do you go?
- 42:28It says in the beginning, all right?
- 42:28It says in the beginning, all right?
- 42:29Here's the
- 42:29Here's the beginning, and that is the start of everything.
- 42:32So in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:36Now, this truth is affirmed throughout the entire Bible.
- 42:39The psalmist, many of them declared that creation proclaims God's glory.
- 42:44The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaimed the work of his hands, and Paul teaches that God's invisible attributes are evident in what he has made, leaving unbelief without excuse.
- 42:59Now let me get to that part a minute.
- 43:01People may say, well, you know what, uh have never had an encounter with God.
- 43:06Maybe you have, and you just don't know.
- 43:08I believe everyone at some point in time has an encounter with God.
- 43:12And many times we just don't know it.
- 43:14We don't see it.
- 43:15We don't have our eyes opened.
- 43:17We have our eyes open to the things, the material things that man offers us.
- 43:20Too much of that going on in the world today, folks.
- 43:23You know, as we grow older, you know, and I've seen it happen in my own life.
- 43:26I kind of uh, you know, we slow down a bit, right?
- 43:29Uh slow down uh somewhat physically, and we so slow down to a point where uh it's kind of positive where you will take a deep breath and take a step back and say, you know what?
- 43:39Let me enjoy what I see around me.
- 43:42Let him let me enjoy nature.
- 43:44I look at trees, I look at the grass, I look at the clouds.
- 43:47I mean, I start looking at everything that I didn't pay attention to when I was younger and on the go, okay.
- 43:53And I and I look at insects, I mean, those of you who are uh up in your years, you know, look at I'm I'm 74 years old, all right.
- 44:02Uh still got a lot of pep, a lot of vigor.
- 44:05Thank God Almighty.
- 44:06Um I'm healthy and I'm moving forward with the uh different station in life he's given me with the military and with our country.
- 44:13And I'm sure many of you listening to this broadcast may not be 74 years old, you may be 25, 30, whatever age you are.
- 44:21I would say this to you there's a scripture that says, uh those of us with gray hair, and boy, do I have gray hair, uh, at least I have hair.
- 44:29Uh the scriptures say to take a step back if you're younger, and to listen to the wisdom of those with gray crowns, meaning listen to some wisdom with those who have been around for quite some time, especially with those who have created a friendship, a relationship, uh what I call a real good, you know, brotherly love type thing with Jesus Christ.
- 44:53Listen to them, and I ask you just to listen to me for for a few more minutes.
- 44:58Don't let the reality of this life take you away from the reality of God.
- 45:04People will tell you to pursue good jobs.
- 45:08That's a good thing.
- 45:09You should do that.
- 45:10Pursue this, pursue that.
- 45:12But don't become enslaved to that reality.
- 45:14I've seen so many people, so many friends of mine who have began their pursuits for better jobs, better education, uh, and then that turns into pursuit for money, money, money, and more material wealth and material things.
- 45:28And yeah, they get the big cars, they get to fly here, go here, go there, etc., etc., which is good.
- 45:35God wants us to be, he wants to bless us with wealth.
- 45:39He wants to bless us with those material things.
- 45:42So long as that wealth and those material things don't take us away from the reality of him.
- 45:49And I find it amazing.
- 45:51I I really do, folks, that I could talk to people about anything, any subject, any topic, politics, national security, on and on and on.
- 46:00But most of the time, when I bring up Christ, and I don't preach to people, I don't evangelize, I don't push this, you know, uh belief uh in in Christ on anybody's throat.
- 46:11I know when to stop.
- 46:12And sometimes I've had to stop in my tracks and and kind of pivot to another subject.
- 46:17But I've noticed a lot of times when people, and may I add some Christians I know, good ones, all right?
- 46:23This doesn't make them bad, but kind of cause me, causes me to pause a little when they tell me how successful they've been and how much money they have made.
- 46:34I tell them, well, let's thank God that he led you down that path and you've been able to succeed, and you've been able to uh, you know, get a lot more uh money into your household, etc.
- 46:46etc.
- 46:48And I'm waiting.
- 46:49I'm waiting for them to share with me the reality of Christ in their life.
- 46:54Not a word, not a word.
- 46:56And I tell you what, I do walk away somewhat discouraged, thinking, gee, you know what?
- 47:01What happened here to this person?
- 47:03They used to, you know, engage in conversations about every subject, including God and the Bible, and now that's taking a back seat.
- 47:10Are they bad people?
- 47:12Of course not.
- 47:13Look, we all have our shortcomings, but I'm concerned that when I run into this situation more and more and more, and and so that's why I'm sharing this with you, is it take stock.
- 47:23All right, take stock that don't let the reality of this life take you from the reality that there is a God.
- 47:29Look at I I've, you know, listen, I've transformed from a person that was just like that, wouldn't say too much about Christ and God.
- 47:36And then I took them up on his offer.
- 47:39Come unto me, all ye who are burdened, and I will give you rest.
- 47:43My yoke is easy, my burden is light.
- 47:47Telling me, as well as telling you, your reality on earth may not be as good as you want it to be, or it may be perfect, but without me, meaning Jesus Christ, your reality is going to be short-lived.
- 48:00Woo, man, I'll tell you.
- 48:01And I've seen that happen to people on and on again, on again in my lifetime, with that reality of this world, of what they've attained in this world, is short-lived.
- 48:12I didn't want to go down that road.
- 48:14That's why I share with people there's another reality that uh I think about uh constantly, and that's reality that there is a Bible, that there is a word.
- 48:24Uh people say, well, you know, uh Steve Rogers, you talk often about how God and you have this conversation.
- 48:31How does he speak to you?
- 48:32I mean, do you hear his voice?
- 48:33No, I don't.
- 48:34I don't.
- 48:36But maybe I do.
- 48:37Ah, what do you think about that?
- 48:38Maybe my heart does.
- 48:40All right, my soul does, my spirit does.
- 48:42In fact, no maybes, okay?
- 48:44I'm gonna correct myself.
- 48:45No maybes.
- 48:47I hear his voice in my heart, soul, and spirit.
- 48:50And how do I hear it?
- 48:51Through his word, through that Bible, through what we see, what we hear, what we touch, what we feel through the word of God.
- 49:00Word of God, not with my hands, but what my ears, not with my eyes, but through the soul and the spirit that God has given me.
- 49:01Not with my hands, but what my ears, not with my eyes, but through the soul and the spirit that God has given me.
- 49:09And you can have the same thing.
- 49:09And you can have the same thing.
- 49:11You could have the same thing.
- 49:11You could have the same thing.
- 49:14For many people, God is experienced as personally real.
- 49:14For many people, God is experienced as personally real, not just as an abstract idea, what many, many do.
- 49:18Not just as an abstract idea, what many, many do.
- 49:21Uh, that's an abstract idea, uh, the thoughts of God.
- 49:22That's an abstract idea, uh, the thoughts of God.
- 49:25There is no reality there, it's just an idea.
- 49:25There is no reality there, it's just an idea.
- 49:28Well, it's not.
- 49:28Well, it's not.
- 49:29And you know.
- 49:29And you know what?
- 49:30Many people know it's not an abstract idea.
- 49:32Many people study God's word, and they can deepen awareness of God's presence in their lives, leading to an encounter with God.
- 49:39Hell yeah.
- 49:40You will, if you haven't already, you'll have an encounter with God.
- 49:43The question is, will you know it's Him?
- 49:46Now, that doesn't mean uh uh, you know, He's gonna come out of heaven and meet you face to face and say, hey, come on over here, I need to talk to you.
- 49:52No, no, it don't work that way.
- 49:54But you will have an encounter.
- 49:56Something interesting will be happening in your life, where there'll be a detour in your life.
- 50:01There is the reality of Jesus Christ, the reality of God, the reality of the Holy Spirit indwelling in your life.
- 50:10Now, you might say, hmm, Holy Spirit, he'll never come into my life.
- 50:14I'm in such bad shape.
- 50:15I've commit more sins than than anybody you can think of.
- 50:19Uh so the Holy Spirit's not gonna uh come into my life.
- 50:22Well, I got news for you, my friend.
- 50:24He's there already, he's been there since the day you were created, not born, created inside your mother's womb.
- 50:31He's been there.
- 50:32It's up to you to, well, accept him, and I tell people to activate him.
- 50:37How do you do that?
- 50:39Well, you have a conversation with God.
- 50:41You tell Jesus Christ, get along with him for goodness sakes.
- 50:44I've told you that time and time again.
- 50:46Get along with him.
- 50:47Start talking to him like I'm talking to you, and ask him to show you the way.
- 50:5125th Psalm, show me thy way, teach me thy path, O Lord.
- 50:55What do you think of that, folks?
- 50:56The scripture portrays what can be uh both, you know, both through action and through deed, a strong relationship with Christ.
- 51:07When you recognize God's reality, then the call for you to get deeper and deeper and deeper in having enough faith and trust in him, that he will, he will draw you closer to him.
- 51:20Faith is a committed trust in God, period.
- 51:23Not mere intellectual agreement, not mere obedience to a particular doctrine, but be a willing and obedient friend of Jesus Christ.
- 51:35That's all he wants is your friendship.
- 51:37So faith like that, it engages the whole person.
- 51:40Yep, your mind, your heart, your soul, your spirit, and your conduct.
- 51:45And scripture, the holy scriptures portray it as evident in both action and a lived relationship with God.
- 51:54A lived relationship, meaning an ongoing relationship.
- 51:58God's reality is affirmed through many, many perspectives, my friend.
- 52:03Scriptural, philosophical, all kinds of, I mean, perspectives.
- 52:08Through creation's beauty, I mean, look at the creation's beauty.
- 52:11I mean, the scientific insight, even science is affirming the reality of God, and personal spiritual experience, which is a big deal.
- 52:19What we have in the Bible and the written word of God are personal experiences that people wrote down.
- 52:25And I've got to tell you, I've written nine books.
- 52:28All right, and I'm not here on this broadcast to sell you and market the books.
- 52:32I'm not even going to tell you what their names are.
- 52:33At some point, maybe I will.
- 52:35I've written nine books, uh, primarily about the experiences that I've had with Jesus Christ.
- 52:42And at times not even knowing it.
- 52:44But I gotta tell you, it taught me that there is a God, that he's interested in my life, and that he is indeed answering the prayer.
- 52:52Show me thy way, teach me thy path, O Lord.
- 52:56And you, my friend, you can have that same pathway, that same experience.
- 53:02All you got to do is open your heart as he has opened his heart to you.
- 53:06Open your arms, embrace him.
- 53:08As he opened his arms to you and said, Come, come unto me, my friend.
- 53:13You who are listening now, he's saying, Come unto me.
- 53:16Whatever burdens you have, your reality on earth is temporary, but your reality with me, meaning God Almighty, Jesus Christ, is eternal.
- 53:25That's where our reality should be.
- 53:27So take a moment and look at the reality of God through what he created.
- 53:32All right.
- 53:33You don't have to go open in your Bible right now.
- 53:36Look at the sky.
- 53:37Look at the birds, look at the seas if you're near an ocean, the trees, the stars.
- 53:41But most importantly, I would say, look in a mirror.
- 53:45I mean it.
- 53:46Look at you.
- 53:47Ask yourself the question, where have I been?
- 53:50Where am I going?
- 53:52And how am I going to get there?
- 53:54Let that be something that you do.
- 53:56Uh, I mean that mean you really do.
- 53:58You take some time in that you do within the next 24 to 48 hours.
- 54:02And then take a moment and turn in your Bible to the book of John, chapter three.
- 54:07I'm not going to read that scripture to you, because I want you to make it a point that you go to John chapter three.
- 54:13And there, there you will, you're going to find, without a doubt, there you will find the reality of God Almighty.
- 54:20That's it.
- 54:21John chapter three.
- 54:22That is where you're going to find the reality of God.
- 54:26And remember what I've said over and over again in prior broadcasts, and I will continue to say this when people ask me, well, what is the Bible?
- 54:34What's in the Bible?
- 54:34What's written in the Holy Water Bible?
- 54:37I can tell you this.
- 54:38Uh I I don't have time to go through the whole definition, but I will share with you that the Bible reveals the mind of God and his mind is on you, my friend.
- 54:48The state of man, also on you and on me.
- 54:52The way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers.
- 54:57Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable.
- 55:04Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy.
- 55:09It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.
- 55:15That is what the Bible is.
- 55:17That is what God is all about.
- 55:19He loves you, he protects you day in and day out, whether you uh accept it or not.
- 55:25But that is the reality.
- 55:26You know, reality is faith.
- 55:28Reality is not based on the things we see, right?
- 55:31What's it's the Bible says, you know, faith, all right?
- 55:35Faith come by hearing, hearing by the word of God.
- 55:38Faith is the substance of things not seen, not seen, folks, meaning that you have faith in a God you may not be able to see right now, maybe sometime in your life.
- 55:49He will reveal himself to you somehow.
- 55:51Look at when it comes to God, I don't count anything out, but I'll tell you what, he, Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lord, and the King of Kings, loves you.
- 56:00King of Kings loves you.
- 56:01He wants you to know that he needs and wants you to be his reality.
- 56:01He wants you to know that he needs and wants you to be his reality.
- 56:07Right.
- 56:07Right.
- 56:07Let him be your reality, and you're gonna see blessing upon blessing come into your life.
- 56:07Let him be your reality, and you're going to see blessing upon blessing come into your life.
- 56:13There'll be train rainstorms, right?
- 56:13There'll be train rainstorms, all right?
- 56:15There'll be winds and there'll be difficult challenges that you'll be facing.
- 56:15There'll be winds and there'll be difficult challenges that you'll be facing.
- 56:20But the difference between now and then, meaning now, if you don't have God as a reality, and when you do have him as a reality in your life.
- 56:20But the difference between now and then, meaning now, if you don't have God as a reality, and when you do have him as a reality in your life, he'll walk with you.
- 56:31He'll walk with you.
- 56:32And as he's walking with you, you want some real peace?
- 56:36He'll give you the reality of his peace.
- 56:40After all, he's also known as the Prince of Peace.
- 56:44Thank you for listening.
- 56:45God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.
