- 0:00We've been going through Heineken Esky's book and
- 0:06different items and ideas to help help a person become a
- 0:10complete person and develop and grow.
- 0:13So he goes to the latest Alephit.
- 0:16We spent some time on Henuk. That was a point in one where
- 0:19discipline became a major role and role model became a very
- 0:23significant component. And Shalom in the home was a key
- 0:27thing in Henuk. Then he has the letter Ted
- 0:31letter Ted this tower ah that's dealing with McVeigh for men.
- 0:35Women will skip that one. I'm going out to you.
- 0:38What's the letter youth? You're out head fear.
- 0:44Fear is sin or you're out Shamayim as will play out.
- 0:48So the question very simply, before we delve into it, is how
- 0:52significant is you're out, Shamayan, this idea of fear as a
- 0:57component to making a Jew a wholesome, complete Jew, how
- 1:01important is it? Well, we know that when we talk
- 1:03about people, I've said this before, when they talk about,
- 1:06they say so and so. I remember in the old days you
- 1:08say so and so. He's got a shamayim.
- 1:12He has fear of heaven. That's his description.
- 1:14He's a good guy. He has yachamayim as they
- 1:17describe him. They don't talk about his
- 1:18details of what he does and what laws he keeps.
- 1:21It doesn't keep where he's holding your religion.
- 1:24He has yachamayim. It's a classic way you describe
- 1:26a person, and that's how we describe people.
- 1:29But why is it and how important is it in the makeup of a Jew?
- 1:34The answer we'll see from sources is that this idea of
- 1:37fear, even though we are very much a proponent of love and we
- 1:42always talk about havat Hashem, loving Hashem, appreciating
- 1:46Hashem did for me, so to speak, giving back and showing hakarata
- 1:50talk to Hashem. We always put a big emphasis on
- 1:52that. And because God took care of
- 1:54you, you give back, you serve him.
- 1:59The idea of fear, which is a fear not based on what Hashem
- 2:05did for me, but rather based on what Hashem can do, the power,
- 2:11the control, the might of Hashem.
- 2:14That is very important as a Jew. If we only had the other kind,
- 2:20if all that we had was Hashem loves me, so I'm going to serve
- 2:24him and I'm going to be a good Jew.
- 2:26We'll do our best, we'll try, we'll feel motivated, but
- 2:30there'll be a major gap. And this gap is the one that
- 2:33fear fills. What is that gap?
- 2:36What is the purpose of fear? So the idea is, is that you have
- 2:40so many things that you do in private, so many things that you
- 2:44do alone, right? So many things that you do that
- 2:49no one else is seeing. All those areas of life, the
- 2:54fact that you love Hashem, in fact, do you want to be a good
- 2:57Jew? That will not make you into a
- 3:00good person, will not make you succeed in those areas.
- 3:03Yak shamayim. The fear of heaven makes you a
- 3:07whole person and makes you succeed and do good.
- 3:11Even in private. What's the idea?
- 3:13Because if it's based on love and I'm sorry, I'm excited, I
- 3:16serve Hashem now. If I'm in private, I'm not in
- 3:19the mood, I'm not doing well, someone insulted me, someone got
- 3:23me upset, something's getting me nervous and I'm alone.
- 3:28What's going to stop me from acting the wrong way?
- 3:30What's going to stop me from doing the wrong thing?
- 3:33If I can be dishonest and no one's going to catch me, what's
- 3:37going to stop me from doing something dishonest?
- 3:40The idea of fear is that fear fills in all those gaps.
- 3:45We don't like talking about fear.
- 3:46We don't like the idea of being afraid.
- 3:48We want it to be very simple. Hashem loves me, I love him.
- 3:52Well, great. I'm therefore going to serve
- 3:54him. That does not do anything for
- 3:56all those situations that a person has.
- 3:58And you know what? The reality is that a complete
- 4:02Jew is more important when he is in private than it is when he is
- 4:07in public. That's the reality.
- 4:09Yeah, we mentioned yesterday in one of the classes is that we
- 4:12spoke about the cashew or the lack of cashew of the Khazir,
- 4:18the pig. The pig is not kosher.
- 4:21It has one of the two signs that you need to have the cashew.
- 4:25One of the two signs for an animal has to have split hooves
- 4:29and chew its cut. The pig has those split hooves,
- 4:35but it doesn't chew its cut. It has the external sign, it
- 4:39doesn't have the internal sign, and the Torah says about it that
- 4:43it's not kosher. So the question is asked.
- 4:46You told me two signs that you need to have.
- 4:49The pig only has one. Why would the Torah have to
- 4:52double down and tell me the pig which has one sign isn't kosher?
- 4:56You told me the 2 signs. It doesn't check both boxes,
- 4:59it's out. Why do you need to tell me that
- 5:03one has one sign, not the other sign?
- 5:04It's not kosher. If it doesn't have both signs,
- 5:08it's out. Goodbye.
- 5:10That's a solid question and the answer is that what I was
- 5:14telling you that once the pig is something that has an external
- 5:19sign but doesn't have an internal internal one, It has an
- 5:23external semen of cashew, but it doesn't have the hidden one.
- 5:27And not only is it lacking in cashew, it's double worse.
- 5:32It's extra worse because when it has the external without the
- 5:36internal, it has the ritona without the penny meat.
- 5:40It's not just lacking in cashew. It has an extra problem because
- 5:45if a person is only good publicly and not good privately,
- 5:50a person's only good out there and not good inside, that person
- 5:54is a fake. He's a phony and he's nothing.
- 5:58And that's when you got shaman comes in, because if a person
- 6:01doesn't have, you got shaman. And what's going to happen is
- 6:04when they're in private, they can use any language they want.
- 6:07They're going to say anything they want.
- 6:09They're going to do anything they want because internally
- 6:12inside, they have no sign of kashut because they have nothing
- 6:17guiding them. The reason that you're out,
- 6:19Jemima is such a key for a Jew is because it's what guides you
- 6:23in life. It's what helps you become a
- 6:25whole Jew, what gets you to work on your character.
- 6:29Only you got Jemima, nothing else.
- 6:31What gets you to work on your marriage, really?
- 6:33Maybe you want to have Shalom in the home, but at a deeper level
- 6:36you get out your mind the fear of heaven.
- 6:39The fact that I want to make Hashem happy is what gets me in
- 6:43my home to be a good person. There's so many gaps in life.
- 6:48There are people out there who can be publicly the greatest
- 6:52people. Privately we know by now they're
- 6:55rough. Privately they're a problem.
- 6:58How's that possible? How's it humanly possible that a
- 7:01Jew can be both? He can be publicly so good and
- 7:04probably so bad. Answer is he's just trying to
- 7:07impress and he doesn't have any fear, enough fear of heaven.
- 7:12And that's the gap that we want to fill.
- 7:14And that's the purpose. You got your mind.
- 7:16Follow on with me an idea. Good.
- 7:19Now where's the sources? This is so important.
- 7:22So the basuk says it's a Basuka, says the words yurat Hashem
- 7:28hiyotzaro. The Yurav Hashem is a storage
- 7:32house. What does that mean?
- 7:34That means that a person can load up with Torah knowledge,
- 7:40they can load up with good deeds, they can load up with
- 7:44everything. If they don't have hiracha mine,
- 7:47they have nowhere to store everything that they've done.
- 7:53And what's going to happen? It's all going to spoil and all
- 7:56rot. If a person, there's a lot of
- 7:59good things out there without the storage house, he can't hold
- 8:04it, he can't retain it, he doesn't retain the reward, and
- 8:09it all rots. That's the theme of telling me
- 8:12that shaman is the outside. In fact, there's a major, huge
- 8:16dispute and debate over 100 years ago and the yeshiva
- 8:21system, always a dispute. Yeshiva, he learned all day.
- 8:26That's the idea, learned all day.
- 8:28Where was the debate then? Do you spend a few minutes a day
- 8:34on what they call Musada? Do you spend a few minutes a day
- 8:39on working on yourself, working on your not shyam?
- 8:42This is the big debate, all right.
- 8:45And there were some people who went 100% all day, do this all
- 8:49day. You don't Shyam all day.
- 8:51They said that's too dangerous. Other people, many people who
- 8:53said learn all day, don't do any of this thought and analysis.
- 8:58You know some I am. They said that was really
- 9:01disputed. Is that a good idea to only
- 9:04learn? Or is it a good idea to spend a
- 9:06few minutes on your actual mind? Where'd they settle?
- 9:11They settled on the idea. Majority of your day you learn
- 9:14your Mara, you learn Hala Ha, you learn fact, you're taking
- 9:18the facts and that's it. But you spend a few minutes on
- 9:22this. Why do you spend a few minutes
- 9:24on this? Because if the person stockpiles
- 9:28all the Tara that he learns without developing himself as a
- 9:32good person, it's all all the Tara knowledge, all the reward
- 9:35of the Tara knowledge, as they say, it's all going to rot.
- 9:39It's all going to spoil. It's all going to go away for
- 9:41the exact same reason. Unless you have that storage
- 9:44house, unless you have that person, unless you have that
- 9:47person who's good and private and everything that he knows and
- 9:51all the reward that he's building is all going to go
- 9:52away. And This is why only a few
- 9:56minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, the theme is you just need it.
- 10:01The way they say is that they just need to put a little
- 10:04something to hold it. If you think about it, this idea
- 10:07of Yarachamayim does not need to be something that you're working
- 10:12on all day long. It just needs to be something
- 10:15that you're reminded about. Yarachamayim is something that
- 10:17you're born with in a sense. You grow up in your parents
- 10:21house. There are many people in this
- 10:22community who grew up without much religion at all, right?
- 10:27And they grew one, they grew one.
- 10:28They grew those people. No one realized it.
- 10:31They hide you, not your mind. They had a clear recognition of
- 10:34Hashem. How do you know there were
- 10:36certain things? They would never do certain
- 10:38things, even though they're religious.
- 10:40They would never do certain things wrong.
- 10:42Why? Their parents, based on Hashem,
- 10:45wouldn't allow it, said how were they religious?
- 10:48Because they just didn't have the norms that we have today.
- 10:51They didn't have the guidelines that we have today.
- 10:53That is an innate thing inside of you, inborn thing inside of
- 10:57you, called your hashemi. That's why all you need is a few
- 11:00minutes a day just to remind you, just to reflect in the fact
- 11:04that Hashem exists. I don't want to mess around.
- 11:07I want to make sure that I'm doing the right thing in the
- 11:09eyes of Hashem, and that's all. But if you remove those few
- 11:14minutes, if you remove this core concept, and a person can spend
- 11:19their entire life doing many good deeds without the
- 11:22recognition of Hashem's existence and Hashem's power and
- 11:26my awe and fear of God, without that recognition, all my good
- 11:30deeds will be automatically externally based.
- 11:34They'll be all for the public and they will be all to get
- 11:37reward. And none of it would be to make
- 11:40me a better person. The only way I'm able to develop
- 11:42into a better person is if I have inside of me this element
- 11:47as well. Do we see this point as clear?
- 11:49Firstly, we see the point as clear and you think about your
- 11:52own life. I know there's privately there
- 11:54are many people who do things publicly it's very impressive
- 11:59and privately they're not great people.
- 12:02How does it make any sense? How does it even humanly
- 12:03possible to have such a person out there?
- 12:06He's giving up his money, he's giving up his time, he's giving
- 12:09up his his effort for other people.
- 12:12He's not a good person. Doesn't doesn't make sense.
- 12:15It does if you realize that without you out your mind, that
- 12:20person might be doing what he's doing for the public sake for
- 12:24for a name, maybe to make himself even feel good, but he's
- 12:27still not doing it for its core reason.
- 12:29You need the recognition that Hashem exists.
- 12:32You need that fear of God's existence to fill those gaps.
- 12:36The reality is no matter how much time you spend in the
- 12:39public eye, no matter how much time there are cameras all over
- 12:43us and all that, the reality is you are and I am more judge.
- 12:49Judge more on what we do in private and we are defined more
- 12:54of what we do in private and we always do in public.
- 12:57You could spend four or five hours a day, maybe even 10 hours
- 13:00a day with other people and you still are define but what you
- 13:05are in private because that is the real you, what you are in
- 13:09your home or you are with your children, or you are with your
- 13:11spouse, or you are in the office, or you are in a private
- 13:15business dealing, or you are when you're away.
- 13:18All those moments of privacy are who you are, not the other way
- 13:22around. You have a person, he goes away
- 13:25twice a year, all right, You would say that's not him, that's
- 13:29his off time. No, that's him, how he acts then
- 13:33if he praised them, if he's a good person, then if he keeps
- 13:38kosher, then that is him. Why?
- 13:41Because that's where he's alone. That's where you got gemayim
- 13:44comes in, and that's where you define because you got gemayim
- 13:48is the idea. It's me and God, we're
- 13:51one-on-one, so it's me and him. Or what does he see in me?
- 13:55That's the only question you have to ask yourself.
- 13:57Everything else is for the public.
- 13:59You can have people, sadly, who go to shul all the time, yet you
- 14:03don't know where they really are.
- 14:05It's the weird thing. You got people who give a lot of
- 14:08charity still don't know where they are, people who publicly
- 14:12make a very big deal in different areas and you don't
- 14:14know them at all. And it's a strange phenomenon.
- 14:18And you notice that, you know, when people do research when
- 14:20they're marrying off their children and try to find out and
- 14:22they get sometimes very surprised, I guess sometimes
- 14:25very, you know, shocked one way or the other.
- 14:27And that's where you're not shaman steps in and you need it
- 14:30to be a focal point of your home and yourself and your mind,
- 14:34which is how am I in private? I've said this a million times.
- 14:39You could have a person that gives a lot of time to other
- 14:41people, but you don't give time to his children.
- 14:44Doesn't make any sense. Doesn't make any sense.
- 14:47A guy who's willing to be on the phone for an hour with someone
- 14:50in need, but he won't give his children 5 minutes.
- 14:53This is a phenomenon, it's a reality.
- 14:55I've lived it, I know it. How is that possible?
- 14:58The answer is because the public thing is something he has to do,
- 15:03he wants to do, he feels good about doing, but that's not the
- 15:06core you. The core you is what you do when
- 15:09you have to do it, and it's the right thing to do.
- 15:11That is the core you. It's such a surprising fact that
- 15:15you are defined more by your core self than you are by all
- 15:20these things. And that's why it's one of the
- 15:22main components of making up with you.
- 15:24Do you have without your mind And we have a person who does
- 15:28one business dealing that's off Why?
- 15:30Because it was private. No one notice and that makes him
- 15:33aware and that can actually really define this is the idea.
- 15:36There's a theme all right, and a person has to raise their
- 15:40children and their family with this exact mindset.
- 15:43So you go back to the Khazir. You come back to that pig.
- 15:47Why do we mention that he's on kosher?
- 15:50He wants you to know he's not just lacking in construed
- 15:54because he's missing 1 Simon. He's extra on kosher.
- 15:57He's actually unconscious because he's pushing the public
- 16:00thing and he's hiding the private thing, as you told me
- 16:03yesterday, the way the pig does. He lies down on his feet and he
- 16:06waves his feet and kicks out his feet right, saying look at my
- 16:09signs, I'm kosher. It's a double sketch because
- 16:13he's trying to show people what he is.
- 16:16And yet inside he's a fake and he's a phony.
- 16:20We all have to be aware that this is an issue that used to
- 16:22exist back then. The issue is much more prevalent
- 16:26today. Why?
- 16:27Because if you lived in a village somewhere, some quiet
- 16:30Jewish community in the old days, right, you didn't get so
- 16:33much accolades for being, for learning.
- 16:36You didn't get so much accolades for being a big charitable
- 16:39person. You didn't get such credit for
- 16:41things. Today, your good deeds, your
- 16:45public good name can give you so much credit.
- 16:48Can you make you such a big deal out there and therefore feeds
- 16:53this animal? Here's the craziest fact that
- 16:55I've noticed I mentioned yesterday.
- 16:57The craziest fact. If a person is not careful in
- 17:01this area and he doesn't address and think about what am I in
- 17:05private? How am I alone in my family if
- 17:08he doesn't make sure that his insides reflect evenly to what
- 17:14he is outside. He's not careful about this and
- 17:17all he does all day long is feed this animal of the outside.
- 17:21It turns out not only, you know, we have a rule.
- 17:25MI talk shalal ishma baal isma. What does that rule mean?
- 17:31You start off you doing mitzvah. You do it for the wrong reason,
- 17:35right? If I tell you, you give $1000
- 17:39charity for poor people, it's going to make you have a great
- 17:43day, right? You're doing it not really for
- 17:46the right, right reason. But how does it work?
- 17:50We talk shalalal isma. Eventually you do it for the
- 17:52right reason. Fine, I got you.
- 17:55That's a rule across the board. If you, if I tell you, come
- 17:57learn today for class and when you learn today, everything's
- 18:01going to go better in business this week.
- 18:03OK, you're doing it for the wrong reason, but eventually we
- 18:06feel you'll come around and you'll Start learning for the
- 18:09right reason. That's a concept.
- 18:10Of course, the total surprising fact that I noticed and I think
- 18:15I have sources to it, but it's definitely true.
- 18:17If a person does something for the purpose of accolades, of
- 18:23publicity, of people knowing the story of people being impressed
- 18:26by them, this rule of Mitoch Shaluchma Balashma doesn't
- 18:32happen. You end up remaining forever,
- 18:36his entire life. He remains a person who's only
- 18:40shiny on the outside, is hollow inside.
- 18:43And not only does he not become better inside, in fact, the
- 18:47reality is he becomes worse when a person is busy with their
- 18:51published persona, even if it's a Jewish public persona.
- 18:54I want to be known as a good Jew publicly.
- 18:57If that's your angle, not only do you not eventually become
- 19:01better inside, you become worse because all these things, I
- 19:04don't care if it's utilizing the turn off, All these things, all
- 19:08these angles can make a person arrogant, angry, frustrated.
- 19:14A controller can make a person constantly busy with themselves
- 19:19egotistical. One second, he's doing Jewish
- 19:21things. He's doing acts of testing.
- 19:23No, he's not. He's doing acts, advertising.
- 19:27What he's doing all day long is he's advertising.
- 19:30He's putting a billboard. That's all he's doing.
- 19:32And you have no idea if this person is becoming a good
- 19:34person. The only way he's a good person
- 19:36is if he does something good in private.
- 19:39This is the reality. I have a little recommendation
- 19:42always to people who are public people.
- 19:44Find one area in your life. Find one area in your life and
- 19:49nobody knows the good deed that you do.
- 19:52Take one act of reset, one act of reset, and do that silent
- 19:58reset every single day or whatever it is.
- 20:01Do one thing, something that's private.
- 20:04If you're a learner and you learn publicly, have one area of
- 20:07your learning that no one knows about, even learning.
- 20:10So you learn just for the sake of learning.
- 20:11If you're a charitable person, have one charity that you do.
- 20:15That's synonymous, right? If you help people in certain
- 20:18areas. Do something that gets no
- 20:20credit. The truth of the matter is most
- 20:22of the people who are involved in the community work long
- 20:25enough. The credit that they get out
- 20:27there is only a small percentage.
- 20:29They have so much Algeria and headaches and issues that they
- 20:33get no credit for. It usually works itself out, but
- 20:36you need it because if you're a public person only, I mean, if
- 20:39you're a person that's only thinking about what people think
- 20:41about me, you end up becoming a hollow person and feed the
- 20:45animal instead. You want to become a wholesome
- 20:47person guy so. So if you're marrying a child
- 20:50and you want to know what the other side is like, there's no
- 20:53way you can find out. It's all you can see is the
- 20:55public. Yeah, yeah, good.
- 20:57You need some real research, correct?
- 20:59No. You're not worried about people
- 21:00being a full outright disaster. Well, let's just say, because
- 21:03usually that that surface is somewhere.
- 21:05But yeah, you need the research because there are families,
- 21:07there are people who display a certain look, and it turns out
- 21:11they're certainly really off. You need to find out the real
- 21:16research. You know, we don't do any
- 21:17community research that's not done so much 'cause we feel like
- 21:20we know their families. You know, you have to follow.
- 21:23That's Kazim. They marry a guy from Chicago,
- 21:26marries a girl from LA, right? They don't know anything about
- 21:29them. I mean, they thought of digging.
- 21:31They don't dig. They don't just dig.
- 21:32They dig like they're digging to China.
- 21:35They dig unbelievable. They ask you every single
- 21:38question. There used to be a joke in the
- 21:40SHIELD world, you know, I'm sure you heard the line.
- 21:43Are they stalkers or scrapers? What is that?
- 21:47What's the stacker or scraper? What's the difference?
- 21:50You know what at least? How do they clean up the dishes
- 21:52on a Friday night table? They stack them up or they
- 21:55scrape them off the table. I wasn't you do scrape off the
- 21:59table, you stack them up. How's the either what?
- 22:04What's the difference? Personally, I think scraping is
- 22:12very high, but there are people who do scraping.
- 22:15What's scraping by the table and clean it off into the garbage,
- 22:18right off the table into the garbage, right?
- 22:21This is the thing. A stacker takes it all out into
- 22:25the kitchen and heels it there, right?
- 22:27So now if your daughter this is they think if your daughter is
- 22:30getting married and she's marrying her family or better
- 22:33yet, your son is getting married and marrying her family, They're
- 22:36used to a classy home like yours with a stack.
- 22:39Take it out, stack and marry a family that's scrapers.
- 22:42Oh good. All right, so they really will
- 22:44do this research. You never heard of this?
- 22:51That's it stackers of scrapers, but isn't in the case they
- 22:54wanted to wheel. That's that just indicates how
- 22:56like, you know, taking the plates, not necessarily this is
- 22:59real stacking. The point is point is they dig
- 23:04deep. That's the point.
- 23:05And the reality is you need to dig deep.
- 23:08That's a very nice question. Exactly right.
- 23:12You have to dig deep and that's if the point is is that a person
- 23:15really is defined by what they are.
- 23:18Insight. Say it, say it again.
- 23:24All right, very good. So this is really the theme
- 23:29overall. The pig is considered tamer.
- 23:31The gaze is considered tamer because he carries extra tamer
- 23:35because he carries his trait and the people.
- 23:39Throughout the course of Jewish history, there actually have
- 23:41been people just in the same theme just delivered off.
- 23:45There have been people who have led Jewish communities astray.
- 23:49There have been such people, terrible people who have led
- 23:53Jewish communities astray. What were these people?
- 23:55These are people who are very gifted publicly, I'm talking
- 23:59about they do a lot of Twitter. Publicly, they are very well
- 24:04known to be impressive people, but privately they had nothing.
- 24:08I'll give you a classic example. The individual's name was Shop
- 24:11Site 3. Was that shop site 3?
- 24:14Shop site 3 was a person who faked himself as Mashiach.
- 24:19All right, fake Mashiach. It's no jokes.
- 24:24This man literally took the entire big class of Jewish
- 24:29people by storm in Turkey. Major faction of Amiyazel
- 24:36believed he was Mashiach. You've heard of this?
- 24:40How far did it go? There's a book about it, for
- 24:42sure, but a lot of parts of Jewish history are changed to
- 24:46the Shop That Sea. For example, you ever notice in
- 24:49the city during the Friday night we mentioned we do the Hado D?
- 24:53We skip out a bunch of lines and they hate naughty in these
- 24:57words. That's because we don't want to
- 24:59talk about Mashiach too much, because we don't want to reflect
- 25:03this idea of being busy with Mashiach.
- 25:05Give me the shop that see people work.
- 25:07We're afraid of it. We don't want to talk about
- 25:09Shia. Don't say that shammies,
- 25:12Israelis, Egyptians, they say, but hella, we don't say for this
- 25:16reason. And we have a lot of areas and
- 25:18there were even great rabbis who bored in partially and did a
- 25:22shop tights fee movement. This man claimed that he was a
- 25:26prophet. He claimed that he had signs.
- 25:28He was very, very gifted and extremely knowledgeable,
- 25:32Extremely knowledgeable. How the story end?
- 25:35How the story of shop that's VM. He converted.
- 25:38No, the Sultan of the time, I think it was a Sultan, caught
- 25:44him. This man is a big movement in
- 25:46the Jewish people. Captured him, told him he's a
- 25:50convert or die. Now what do you do?
- 25:53Convert into Islam? Goodbye, Charlie.
- 25:56The whole thing's over. The man who claimed to be
- 25:59Mashiach. And he had the whole big faction
- 26:02of the Jewish people. I'm talking about major rabbis.
- 26:05Rabbis like the Bach, other rabbis didn't give their opinion
- 26:09because they weren't sure yet. That's how much I think it was
- 26:12the Bach. That's how much it was a debate
- 26:14about a shop that see we're talking about a great very big
- 26:17sketch and yet he want to dine. You know how many people we've
- 26:22had in our history who died for the sake of Hashem?
- 26:26Not many people ultimate test. You know how many people willing
- 26:29to give up their life for Hashem's sake on this May with
- 26:34one little pressure caved. Why?
- 26:37Publicly he's everything. Publicly, Tamir Hakam Gadol gaon
- 26:45Navi leader. Mashiah.
- 26:48No, Mashiah needs to be not a good person.
- 26:50Mashiah needs to be. Mashiah has to check every box.
- 26:53This man publicly check every box.
- 26:56Insight. Check none.
- 26:59Take zero. And the first moment in a little
- 27:02heat and little pressure, he caved.
- 27:04And it sounds so extreme, but it plays into the system very
- 27:07clearly. You want to raise your family
- 27:09and raise yourself on what am I in private?
- 27:13If in private, when something goes wrong, I flip out.
- 27:17When I'm dealing with one other person, I RIP them, literally
- 27:21just RIP them to shreds. There's no ones around me.
- 27:24I don't have the ability to. When I am alone, I won't do
- 27:27something that's so appropriate. Or when it's a question of kind
- 27:29of shoot that no one's seeing, I'm not so kosher.
- 27:33My language is just me and someone else who doesn't really
- 27:35know anything and not connected to the community.
- 27:37I'll use any language, right? I'll travel somewhere not so
- 27:40good because no one's around. All these things in private,
- 27:44those are a reflection of a lack of you, not your mind.
- 27:47But if you're inside reflects you're outside.
- 27:50And you can say, I want people to see how I have my house.
- 27:53I want people to see how I deal with my office.
- 27:55Sure, there's pressure, of course there's frustration, of
- 27:58course there's even anger, but I still, I keep my cool.
- 28:02I watch myself. I'm conscious of the fact that I
- 28:04Shim is always looking at me at all times.
- 28:08I have that sense, you know, nowadays, nowadays whenever
- 28:13there's a crime scene, they have the camera, right?
- 28:17They pretty much can catch anything.
- 28:19And that for all of us gives us a little bit of a sense of I'm a
- 28:23little more careful in the streets than I used to be,
- 28:26right? I'm a little careful even on our
- 28:27front porch than I used to be because they can see pretty
- 28:31much. You can see almost anything.
- 28:32If that's your mindset, that should be a little deeper and
- 28:35say how a shem can see past your front porch, into your window,
- 28:38into your house, into your bedroom, into your office, into
- 28:42wherever you are into your mind. And if that's how you think, you
- 28:45will become a wholesome Jew. So do we like fear?
- 28:48We're not a fan of fear. The world is a world of love.
- 28:52We love love, but fear plays a major component is it makes you
- 28:56into wholesome Jew. And yes, the defining component
- 28:59of a great Jew is someone who has Yachamayan.
- 29:04That is that person is great inside the same way is outside.
- 29:08Let's start with this, all right.
