- 2:30Speaker 4: Kayla Young, how you doing.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Good morning, Happy Monday.
- 2:33Speaker 4: How are you happy Monday? And I suppose happy birthday?
- 2:36Speaker 2: Greetings? Thank you?
- 2:37Speaker 5: Yeah, my brother's yesterday.
- 2:38Speaker 6: If Facebook had it wrong, which I like, got a
- 2:40Speaker 6: bunch of messages today and don't have the heart to
- 2:43Speaker 6: I guess I just announced it.
- 2:44Speaker 5: But thank you regardless, all right, thank you.
- 2:47Speaker 4: It's not every day you turn twenty one, true, so
- 2:49Speaker 4: so keep.
- 2:50Speaker 5: That except I have more than once, So okay.
- 2:53Speaker 7: All right.
- 2:54Speaker 4: So he took a trip to Washington a bipartisan gathering
- 2:58Speaker 4: of some legislature legislators. I guess of your general age group.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I guess under forty five five.
- 3:04Speaker 4: And did I say you were on Meet the Press?
- 3:06Speaker 5: I was on Friday.
- 3:07Speaker 4: On Friday.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it was a good time, all right?
- 3:09Speaker 4: What was that like?
- 3:10Speaker 5: It was wild, very very like on it.
- 3:13Speaker 6: They were they were cool. It was a good It
- 3:14Speaker 6: was really interesting. It was exactly like this show. Everyone
- 3:19Speaker 6: just a lot more production hands. You know, I have
- 3:21Speaker 6: a producer. They have like a lot of other people. Yeah,
- 3:23Speaker 6: like hair and makeup and it. People are like, you
- 3:26Speaker 6: look great. It was like, yeah, other people made that happen.
- 3:28Speaker 5: That's not what I look like. But thank you. But
- 3:31Speaker 5: it was fun.
- 3:31Speaker 6: It's nice to get to talk about West Virginia and
- 3:33Speaker 6: the positive things that that the state lawmakers get to do.
- 3:36Speaker 4: So what do you get out of this when you
- 3:38Speaker 4: and and again this was bipartisan, It was from here.
- 3:40Speaker 4: It was you and Republican Andy Shamlin.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Yes, Republican Jimmy Willis, Democrat Hollis Lewis, and Senator Joe Garcia.
- 3:48Speaker 4: So I'm just kind of curious did you all like
- 3:49Speaker 4: go up together or.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Did you you did not travel together that would.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Have been cool. I think like a you know, like
- 3:55Speaker 4: meeting you know wherever.
- 3:56Speaker 6: It wasn't on purpose, We just like had different schedules.
- 3:59Speaker 6: I mean I would travel with them.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I think if you got a van, you know, and
- 4:03Speaker 4: like like a road trip and yeah, Shamlin can make
- 4:05Speaker 4: everybody sandwiches, you know.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 6: I always threaten I'm going to do like a buddy
- 4:09Speaker 6: comedy with Vernon Chris, like a road trip.
- 4:14Speaker 4: So tell us about the gathering.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Yeah, So it's Future Caucuses, the group that puts it on.
- 4:17Speaker 6: I've been working with them for four or five years
- 4:19Speaker 6: and they're not focused on any specific policy. They just
- 4:22Speaker 6: want together. They want to get together lawmakers from across
- 4:25Speaker 6: the aisle who want to work together and.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Get things done.
- 4:28Speaker 6: They've actually found that that folks who engage in this
- 4:30Speaker 6: kind of work are a lot more effective. They get
- 4:32Speaker 6: a lot more laws passed. There's thirty six state chapters.
- 4:35Speaker 6: And they start with the wild premise of you should
- 4:39Speaker 6: have an actual relationship with someone before you start working
- 4:42Speaker 6: with them. So you build trust and you know, you
- 4:45Speaker 6: get to know people, and you you assume that they
- 4:47Speaker 6: have good intentions, just like you know you're showing up
- 4:49Speaker 6: with good intentions so you can show up like actual
- 4:52Speaker 6: adults and accomplish goals for the state and the country.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Novel concept, and honestly, I've had a really great experience
- 4:59Speaker 6: working with them. To two co chairs in the House,
- 5:02Speaker 6: I guess three at this point, but we've gotten quite
- 5:05Speaker 6: a bit of policy done. We passed a housing build
- 5:07Speaker 6: this year, we passed an AI task force a couple
- 5:11Speaker 6: of years ago. And they do bring in policy experts
- 5:14Speaker 6: and you don't know what party the person is that
- 5:16Speaker 6: you're talking to. It just says like your name right,
- 5:18Speaker 6: It doesn't say what party you're with. We just talk
- 5:20Speaker 6: about ideas. And I talked to so many people while
- 5:22Speaker 6: I'm there and get great ideas for legislation that we
- 5:25Speaker 6: can use in West Virginia, and I've ended up introducing
- 5:28Speaker 6: and passing quite a bit of it.
- 5:29Speaker 4: That's interesting that you don't know you know what party
- 5:32Speaker 4: the person is. How long into the conversation does it
- 5:35Speaker 4: come up or do you figure it out or at all?
- 5:37Speaker 6: It varies sometimes it comes up. Honestly, It's more interesting
- 5:40Speaker 6: to talk to lawmakers and be like, oh, what's the
- 5:42Speaker 6: makeup of your legislature, Like how many seats are their total?
- 5:45Speaker 5: How many days are your session.
- 5:46Speaker 6: We end up talking about things like how much, how
- 5:48Speaker 6: many staff do you have, how much do you get paid?
- 5:50Speaker 6: Because they've also done like it's called an exit interview report,
- 5:54Speaker 6: where they were like, why are good people getting out
- 5:57Speaker 6: of this work? Because you know, public service is not easy,
- 6:00Speaker 6: It pays not very well. You have to kind of
- 6:04Speaker 6: have a weird job outside of it to even have
- 6:06Speaker 6: the schedule to be able.
- 6:07Speaker 4: To understanding job very well.
- 6:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean you're taking a risk as an employer
- 6:12Speaker 6: having a public figure work for you.
- 6:14Speaker 4: That's not somebody gets angry. It's something that you do.
- 6:17Speaker 4: And if you're working, you know, at Jones and Jones
- 6:20Speaker 4: convenience store or something, they can say, well, because she
- 6:24Speaker 4: voted this way, we are going to we're going to
- 6:27Speaker 4: you know, no longer patronize this store for sure.
- 6:30Speaker 6: And I mean, I understand why people do that, and
- 6:31Speaker 6: I understand why employers wouldn't want to take that liability
- 6:34Speaker 6: on when otherwise, you know, you're not dealing with that.
- 6:36Speaker 6: So it's it's nice to get to have some camaraderie
- 6:39Speaker 6: around those sorts of things. And sometimes it comes up
- 6:42Speaker 6: what party people are, but more often than not, it
- 6:44Speaker 6: really doesn't.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Well, and that's I think that's a good thing, I really.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Because good ideas are good, right regardless.
- 6:49Speaker 4: All right, you said you talked about you told your
- 6:53Speaker 4: colleagues there from around the country the good things that
- 6:56Speaker 4: were going on to West Virginia. What were some of
- 6:57Speaker 4: those things that you mentioned?
- 6:58Speaker 5: That housing bill that we had was great. I thought
- 7:00Speaker 5: the childcare bill that we had was great.
- 7:02Speaker 6: I mean, you know, most of the legislation that passes
- 7:04Speaker 6: is bipartisan and really boring. It's just the really wild
- 7:08Speaker 6: stuff that you see on the news that are the
- 7:09Speaker 6: big fights.
- 7:10Speaker 5: But we do get the good stuff done.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's and do you find when you go
- 7:17Speaker 4: and you're talking to somebody, let's just say Colorado. You're
- 7:19Speaker 4: talking to somebody from Colorado, and they say, what is
- 7:22Speaker 4: your relationship like with your other members of the legislature,
- 7:25Speaker 4: You say, we, overall, we have a good relationship. I
- 7:28Speaker 4: guess it depends on the person.
- 7:29Speaker 5: I mean, like me.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Personally, I think I have a pretty good cordial relationship
- 7:33Speaker 6: with everyone. I can call almost most of them and
- 7:37Speaker 6: have a good conversation, and we get along on a.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Lot of things.
- 7:41Speaker 6: You know, we disagree about the things we disagree about
- 7:43Speaker 6: but otherwise we have mutual respect and understanding, and I
- 7:46Speaker 6: think that's how it should be, and people shouldn't be
- 7:49Speaker 6: afraid to talk about that.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Delliga Kaylae Young is here. It's nine sixteen to day
- 7:53Speaker 4: violand show on five any Line. Brought to you in
- 7:54Speaker 4: part by your hometown baseball team, the Charleston Dirty Birds.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Birds on the road starting tomorrow and all this week's
- 8:00Speaker 4: other in Maryland taken on the Blue Crabs our back
- 8:02Speaker 4: and go Well Ballpark next Tuesday to begin a serious
- 8:05Speaker 4: against the Gastonian Ghost Peppers. For more, check out dirty
- 8:08Speaker 4: Birds baseball dot com. So we get worded delegate Friday
- 8:11Speaker 4: afternoon that after some delay, the clothing vouchers are going
- 8:15Speaker 4: to be going out. Those are going to start July twentieth,
- 8:17Speaker 4: about three weeks later than normal.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Yep, we did get word from that, and we got
- 8:22Speaker 6: some some inkling as to it happening. Never got an
- 8:25Speaker 6: explanation as to why the clothing voucher program was delayed
- 8:28Speaker 6: twenty days, still waiting on an answer.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I mean, the whole thing to me was just kind
- 8:34Speaker 4: of weird, to be honest with you, I mean, because
- 8:37Speaker 4: and look, you know, you're a Democrat, as you said,
- 8:39Speaker 4: but there were Republicans. I mean Evan Warrell was on
- 8:42Speaker 4: with talk Line last week saying, hey, this was before
- 8:44Speaker 4: it was announced that they were I guess it was
- 8:46Speaker 4: some time in the afternoon that it was announced. Friday
- 8:48Speaker 4: afternoon that was announced, and he was on talk Line
- 8:50Speaker 4: I think Friday morning saying, you know, what the heck,
- 8:53Speaker 4: I mean, where is this right?
- 8:55Speaker 6: We still don't know, and like lawmakers, we can call
- 8:57Speaker 6: these people, and you know, the departments themselves. They work
- 9:01Speaker 6: in the executive brands, so they work for the governor.
- 9:03Speaker 6: We can call the governor's office. We haven't gotten answers.
- 9:06Speaker 6: We still don't have answers. The reality is is that
- 9:08Speaker 6: that program was fully funded as the governor requested in
- 9:11Speaker 6: his budget in January, and then all of a sudden
- 9:14Speaker 6: this week once we say where's the program, they're saying
- 9:18Speaker 6: there's this massive shortfall, which is exactly what happened when
- 9:22Speaker 6: he came into office. Is just like Marcy math, just
- 9:25Speaker 6: numbers coming out of wherever to say there's this massive shortfall.
- 9:29Speaker 5: And it's after the fact. Typically I mean the program.
- 9:31Speaker 6: I'm glad it's going to happen at all, but there's
- 9:33Speaker 6: no reason it should have been delayed. We fully funded it.
- 9:36Speaker 6: It concerns me with the strings he's willing to pull,
- 9:40Speaker 6: or the levers he's willing to utilize to overstep the legislature.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Are you going to be asking those questions? Have you
- 9:47Speaker 4: been asking those questions?
- 9:48Speaker 6: I have been asking those questions. Yeah, I've been calling
- 9:50Speaker 6: and trying to figure out what you just get a response,
- 9:52Speaker 6: don't get a response from anyone. I mean, we have
- 9:54Speaker 6: subpoena power, but that has to come from the House itself,
- 9:57Speaker 6: and I'm not doing that. But I hope it doesn't
- 10:00Speaker 6: get to a point where where the relationship between the
- 10:03Speaker 6: legislature and the governor, or the House really and the
- 10:05Speaker 6: governor is so bad that that's what it comes to,
- 10:07Speaker 6: because that's unfortunate.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Doesn't need to be like this.
- 10:10Speaker 4: A chance to take in any of the America two
- 10:12Speaker 4: fifty stuff at the.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Capitol, I was ever got us, so I did not
- 10:14Speaker 6: get a chance to take it in.
- 10:16Speaker 5: I did not ride the Ferris with I don't like heights.
- 10:19Speaker 6: That's why I did hear the Obama carp was out
- 10:22Speaker 6: of service.
- 10:22Speaker 5: It's interesting since I'm not.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Joking, Yeah, yeah, not joking, but it seems like the
- 10:28Speaker 6: folks who went had a really great time, and it
- 10:30Speaker 6: seems like it was done really well. And I would
- 10:32Speaker 6: be remiss to say Chelsea Ruby does a great job
- 10:35Speaker 6: at everything that she does, So I think it looks
- 10:37Speaker 6: like it went really well.
- 10:38Speaker 4: To surprise you that Chelsea Ruby announced she was leaving,
- 10:42Speaker 4: I don't know what the particulars are, so I'm just
- 10:44Speaker 4: gonna say she announced you.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Sure, she did announce that she was leaving. I'm sad
- 10:47Speaker 6: to hear that she's leaving.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean she was. I thought she did a
- 10:51Speaker 4: great job. I wasn't there. I didn't work with it
- 10:52Speaker 4: on a regular basis, but she was always good to
- 10:54Speaker 4: those of us in the media, you know, in written yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 4: I questioned interview and stuff.
- 10:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I worked with her on a very regular basis
- 10:59Speaker 6: and she was fantastic.
- 11:01Speaker 4: I actually had a text to you about that and
- 11:02Speaker 4: wanted to know if you had any idea as to why.
- 11:05Speaker 5: I'm not sure why she's leaving.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know, and I but I'm very upset
- 11:09Speaker 6: that she's going in that those are very large shoes
- 11:11Speaker 6: to fill.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean she she killed it. I mean she
- 11:14Speaker 4: really really did. I the only my only conversation with
- 11:16Speaker 4: her was I when I've learned was I just sent
- 11:18Speaker 4: her a text and said, hey, it was great working
- 11:19Speaker 4: with you. Of course, you know. I got to get
- 11:21Speaker 4: back to me and said well, and she didn't say
- 11:25Speaker 4: anything any she she didn't give me any kind of indication.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Also didn't ask you know, I'm great working with you,
- 11:31Speaker 4: and she said you know same.
- 11:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 6: I reached out actually before that, because when I was
- 11:35Speaker 6: in DC, I was driving past the White House and
- 11:37Speaker 6: stopped at a stop light and looked over and there
- 11:39Speaker 6: was a bus that was like fully wrapped in West
- 11:42Speaker 6: Virginia tourism and it was just so cool to see.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Well, hopefully that, hopefully that'll continue. There's been a lot
- 11:47Speaker 4: said lately, Delegate about the school aid formula, many people
- 11:51Speaker 4: calling for a special session to address that. There was
- 11:53Speaker 4: a very I don't want to say contentious board meeting
- 11:55Speaker 4: last week, but there were some pretty strong words from
- 11:57Speaker 4: board president's State school Board President Paul hardestyed and so
- 12:00Speaker 4: on and so forth. Is this something that you would
- 12:03Speaker 4: support a special session to take a look at school
- 12:05Speaker 4: aid formula?
- 12:06Speaker 5: Yeah, special session or a regular session.
- 12:08Speaker 6: My caucus called for a special session, and I think
- 12:11Speaker 6: we have to do something regardless, no matter what we know.
- 12:14Speaker 6: This is a problem we found out last I mean
- 12:16Speaker 6: we knew before last session, but last session we had
- 12:18Speaker 6: the Ran report that suggested all the changes that need
- 12:20Speaker 6: to be made to the school aid formula.
- 12:22Speaker 5: I think we need to take.
- 12:23Speaker 6: A very hard look at schools generally and sort something
- 12:27Speaker 6: out because it's not going great. We've got schools closing
- 12:30Speaker 6: all over the place. Our education rates aren't what they
- 12:32Speaker 6: need to be. It's there's a lot to do.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Well, and you're looking at the very real possibility over
- 12:39Speaker 4: the last couple of years. As odd as this sounds,
- 12:41Speaker 4: and TJ's talked about it a lot, that school systems
- 12:44Speaker 4: are going to go out of business in the state
- 12:46Speaker 4: of West Virginia, I mean literally, they're going to have
- 12:48Speaker 4: a going out of business see and I.
- 12:49Speaker 6: Mean not just school systems, towns you know, like city counties.
- 12:53Speaker 6: And that's not for lack of us not trying to
- 12:55Speaker 6: make that happen, but it's going to happen as if
- 12:58Speaker 6: our population continues to dec in the way that it has.
- 13:01Speaker 6: I really hope it doesn't, but if it does, yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 6: we are going to have these folks going out of
- 13:04Speaker 6: business and I think there's some constitutional changes that need
- 13:07Speaker 6: to happen to adjust the number of school boards necessary potentially.
- 13:11Speaker 6: I don't want anyone to lose their job, but like,
- 13:13Speaker 6: whatever we're doing isn't working. I'm incredibly concerned that the
- 13:18Speaker 6: amount of COVID funding that the schools were given led
- 13:21Speaker 6: to a lot of permanent solutions for temporary funding, and
- 13:27Speaker 6: there's just so it's such a vast problem that needs
- 13:29Speaker 6: to be handled.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Anything else on your mind before we send you on
- 13:33Speaker 4: your way today? Was keeping you busy for the next
- 13:34Speaker 4: couple of weeks?
- 13:35Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, summer is keeping me busy. I'm going
- 13:37Speaker 6: to paint my house, So that's what's keeping me busy.
- 13:40Speaker 6: So hopefully, hopefully no crisises with the children of West
- 13:43Speaker 6: Virginia that we have to handle, because we should be
- 13:47Speaker 6: able to just function along, go along, business as usual,
- 13:50Speaker 6: and everybody should be able to get the services that
- 13:52Speaker 6: the budget started July one. So saying anyone's out of
- 13:55Speaker 6: money at this point is a bit of a farce.
- 13:57Speaker 4: What about are we are going to be wear foster?
- 14:00Speaker 5: I hope so, I hope.
- 14:02Speaker 6: So. Hearing about another child that died in Mingo County,
- 14:05Speaker 6: you know, a few weeks ago. I don't know what
- 14:07Speaker 6: it's going to take, but we've got to handle The

- 17:50Speaker 4: A couple of quick things in the news and we'll
- 17:51Speaker 4: bring Danny Jones in. Both stories can be seen at
- 17:54Speaker 4: the WCCHS Network page WCHS network dot com. When you
- 17:59Speaker 4: go to the polls in Canawha County in the general
- 18:01Speaker 4: election in November, you'll be asked to renew the school's
- 18:04Speaker 4: access to levee now. It was last on the ballot
- 18:06Speaker 4: and renewed in twenty twenty two. Superintendent Paula Potter quoted
- 18:10Speaker 4: in the story we have posted at the website since
- 18:13Speaker 4: the actual wording still being finalized, but it does include
- 18:16Speaker 4: a funding that she says, our things parents have been
- 18:19Speaker 4: asking from their town halls, board meetings, improvement council meetings, etc.
- 18:23Speaker 14: Etc.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Now it's going to include playground improvements for elementary schools.
- 18:27Speaker 4: There's also things about school security in it. Again you
- 18:30Speaker 4: can read more in WCNCHS network dot com. The board
- 18:33Speaker 4: is going to go over it all at the August
- 18:36Speaker 4: board meeting. The levee does not raise taxes, she stressed. Also,
- 18:41Speaker 4: there's an opening, as you well know, on the County Commission.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Of course, Lance Wheelers stepped down to become the new
- 18:45Speaker 4: director of the Ambulance Authority. So now Commissioners Selango and
- 18:48Speaker 4: Tenant will have to decide on a replacement, and six
- 18:51Speaker 4: people have applied, including Jared Page, who won the Republican
- 18:55Speaker 4: nomination for commission in May. And of course, before he
- 19:00Speaker 4: was named the Ambas Authority director, Lance Wheeler had decided
- 19:03Speaker 4: not to run for reelection to the Commission as he's
- 19:05Speaker 4: running for state Senate. He won his nomination at the primary.
- 19:09Speaker 4: The other people who want to be Commissioner Thomas Canterbury,
- 19:12Speaker 4: George Smith, Elizabeth Standish, Jim Strawn and George Metz Junior.
- 19:17Speaker 4: So the way this whole thing worked, Ben Selango and
- 19:20Speaker 4: Natalie Tenant will try to agree on Lance's replacement, and
- 19:23Speaker 4: the person they choose must be a Republican must be
- 19:26Speaker 4: from the district where Lance Wheeler lived. Now, Selango has
- 19:30Speaker 4: already said he's supporting Jared Page to take over for Wheeler.
- 19:33Speaker 4: It's part of the story WCCHS network dot com. He
- 19:36Speaker 4: talks about Page's governmental experience as municipal judge and the
- 19:40Speaker 4: vice mayor of Saint Albans and if Natalie Tenant and
- 19:43Speaker 4: ben Selango cannot agree on a replacement, then the Republican
- 19:47Speaker 4: Executive Committee will have to get involved. And ben Selango
- 19:50Speaker 4: says he hopes they can make that meeting, or they
- 19:52Speaker 4: can make a decision at the July twenty third meeting.
- 19:54Speaker 4: If they can't, then it will go to the next
- 19:56Speaker 4: meeting in August. Again, you can read more about it
- 19:58Speaker 4: at WCHS network dot com. Coming up on the show tomorrow,
- 20:01Speaker 4: but we talk a little Saint Albans football. We mentioned
- 20:04Speaker 4: this last week. The football coach there's Dan Brown, and
- 20:07Speaker 4: they're in great there's a possibility they're not gonna have
- 20:11Speaker 4: a season this year because of the lack of players
- 20:14Speaker 4: that have shown an interest in playing. They're going to
- 20:16Speaker 4: have a community meeting Wednesday night at Saint Albans High School,
- 20:20Speaker 4: so we'll talk to the coach about that. And Bill
- 20:21Speaker 4: Lynch from the Gazette mails go to join me on
- 20:24Speaker 4: the show tomorrow. Coming up later today, Metro News, Midday
- 20:26Speaker 4: thirteen News and Tonight Live anchor Amandebaran and Me Willie
- 20:29Speaker 4: Mayor Jenny McGruder is going to stop by more of
- 20:32Speaker 4: the death, of course of Lindsey Graham. TJ will join
- 20:34Speaker 4: us to talk up as commentary. It's a good one.
- 20:36Speaker 4: You can read it at wv metronews dot com or
- 20:39Speaker 4: on a social media pages. It has to do with

- 21:12Speaker 4: Danny Jones. How you doing, man, I'm do it fine.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Can I tell you a little story about the County Commission?
- 21:18Speaker 4: You can tell me many stories.
- 21:21Speaker 2: When Dave Hardy got appointed to the County Commission, you
- 21:26Speaker 2: had two commissioners who disagreed, Happy Short and Ken Carper.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Carper picked Hardy, Hoppy Shores picked Ike Smith, and they
- 21:41Speaker 2: flipped a coin. That's how that's the Yeah.
- 21:44Speaker 4: I mean, I guess they could do that. I mean,
- 21:46Speaker 4: but if they can't, if they're if they can't do that,
- 21:48Speaker 4: then it will go wow. Why Well, I mean maybe
- 21:51Speaker 4: they I mean, we're gonna flip a coin. I think
- 21:53Speaker 4: Selango and ten it would have to agree to flip
- 21:55Speaker 4: a coin. You know, maybe they won't.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Maybe they will.
- 21:57Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I thought that was the procedure.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Now he goes to the executive committee. I mean they
- 22:05Speaker 4: could agree, I guess, to flip a coin, or have
- 22:08Speaker 4: a foot race or arm wrestle or something. I guess
- 22:10Speaker 4: dance off. I don't know, but that's what they're doing
- 22:12Speaker 4: house California.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Oh wonderful.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Well, one of these days when I do these phone
- 22:20Speaker 4: calls and you're in California, which, by the way, big
- 22:23Speaker 4: props to you, because when I put you on the air,
- 22:25Speaker 4: like right now, it's six thirty in I know you're
- 22:27Speaker 4: an early riser, but a lot of people are early risers,
- 22:30Speaker 4: but they're not early talkers. You know.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Now, It's fine, I've been up and having coffee and yeah,
- 22:35Speaker 2: I mean.
- 22:35Speaker 4: And I get that. I get that because you're always
- 22:37Speaker 4: an early riser. But one of these I'm afraid that
- 22:42Speaker 4: one of these times I talk to you on a Monday,
- 22:44Speaker 4: that the next Monday or over the weekend, you're gonna
- 22:47Speaker 4: text me and say I decided to stay. I'm not
- 22:49Speaker 4: coming back.
- 22:50Speaker 2: No, that's not gonna happen. Really well, no, No, my
- 22:54Speaker 2: boys are here.
- 22:54Speaker 4: That's true. That's true. I understand.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I mean, I've got an apartment here and I've got
- 22:59Speaker 2: an apartment there. I mean, I've got a condo there,
- 23:02Speaker 2: but I've got an apartment here.
- 23:04Speaker 4: And doesn't it get a little I mean, because what
- 23:08Speaker 4: do you go like once a month maybe something like that,
- 23:11Speaker 4: or do you go that offerer a lot. Okay, but
- 23:14Speaker 4: I was going to say, doesn't it so you fly?
- 23:16Speaker 2: We got to keep it under one hundred and eighty
- 23:18Speaker 2: days or I become a citizen, a resident, and then
- 23:22Speaker 2: I have to pay their taxes. It's a two dollars
- 23:25Speaker 2: deal out there. Everything's two dollars more gallon of gas,
- 23:31Speaker 2: six pack of pop. I mean, it's just it's just
- 23:35Speaker 2: everything's more expensive.
- 23:36Speaker 4: And told us last week that you won your car show.
- 23:38Speaker 4: You still thumping your chest about winning that car show.
- 23:41Speaker 2: That was fun. Yeah, there were twenty eight. It was
- 23:46Speaker 2: fourth July. There were twenty eight trophies. Twenty five of
- 23:52Speaker 2: them were just trophies, three were plaques with cash, and
- 24:00Speaker 2: I got the People's Choice Award.
- 24:02Speaker 4: So that make you a big man around the around
- 24:06Speaker 4: the compound that you have there. Perhaps you've heard of
- 24:08Speaker 4: well you probably do that anyway.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Nah, everybody knows that Cary.
- 24:13Speaker 4: No, it's a unique car, I mean to me, even
- 24:15Speaker 4: by Californy. I mean, because you see, I have never
- 24:17Speaker 4: been to California, but what I have read about it,
- 24:19Speaker 4: what I've seen, you know, it's not unusual. Because of
- 24:22Speaker 4: the weather, it's not unusual to see really nice older
- 24:25Speaker 4: cars out on the road. We would do that around
- 24:27Speaker 4: here with the potholes and the winters we have and whatever.
- 24:30Speaker 4: But out there you'll see some and uh and and so.
- 24:33Speaker 4: But I would say that that that that Catillac really
- 24:35Speaker 4: sticks out at there.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Downtown Seal Beach has a car show uh in April
- 24:44Speaker 2: every year and they have six hundred cars. And I
- 24:49Speaker 2: believe it's already full.
- 24:51Speaker 4: That's what you were telling me it was sold out.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I think I believe.
- 24:53Speaker 2: I believe it is, uh huh, because by that time,
- 24:56Speaker 2: I know med'll be out there.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Okay, Now that one will have some eyes on it.
- 25:00Speaker 4: I mean the Caddy does, but the Nomad will really
- 25:03Speaker 4: have ice. Even by California standards. That's got to be
- 25:05Speaker 4: a little bit rare.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Well you see some nomads out there, Yeah, none with
- 25:11Speaker 2: the black vinel top and a luggage track.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Now, for those who are listening right now, they're saying,
- 25:16Speaker 4: what the heck is a nomad? Explain what the nomad is.
- 25:18Speaker 2: It's a two door Chevy station wagon or Pontiac Safari
- 25:27Speaker 2: station wagon that has a curved post. In other words,
- 25:36Speaker 2: I don't know how to describe that. It's a two
- 25:38Speaker 2: door station wagon with the curve what year is it
- 25:41Speaker 2: fifty six? I've owned it. I owned it when I
- 25:45Speaker 2: was eighteen years old. Yeah, and didn't you go buy
- 25:47Speaker 2: it back or yeah, I bought it out of Roberts
- 25:49Speaker 2: of State. He loved it sit for for sure. That
- 25:53Speaker 2: was your brother, right, Yeah, he loved it sit for
- 25:55Speaker 2: forty years. Right. And it's going to cost me probably
- 25:59Speaker 2: a deuce yuh to redo it.
- 26:02Speaker 4: So what all has to be done to it?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Everything?
- 26:04Speaker 4: Everything? Basically you're it's almost like you're building a new car.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I mean there was a rat inside the engine. Yeah,
- 26:10Speaker 2: I mean it was that crawled up to the header fight.
- 26:14Speaker 2: See that that That car had Fenderwelle headers at traction bars.
- 26:19Speaker 2: I used to race the car. So but it's it's
- 26:26Speaker 2: the frame's been you know, the body's been off of it,
- 26:29Speaker 2: and the frame was surprisingly in great shape.
- 26:36Speaker 4: That's the way they used to build cars. Yeah, to
- 26:38Speaker 4: last I may have asked you this before, but have
- 26:41Speaker 4: you ever been to the West Virginia Drag Racing Hall
- 26:44Speaker 4: of Fame in Winfield. I'm a member, okay, because a
- 26:47Speaker 4: couple of weeks ago I've never.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Been, but I'm on the wall.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Okay, that's that's right. But last year I actually saw
- 26:52Speaker 4: your name last last month. We did a on ninety
- 26:56Speaker 4: eight to seven of the mounth and we did a
- 26:57Speaker 4: car show over and with on myself in shock and
- 27:00Speaker 4: he had never been in there, and so Randy Barrett,
- 27:02Speaker 4: you know, it is the good buddy mind the mayor
- 27:04Speaker 4: of Winfield, and so it's in city Hall. So I
- 27:07Speaker 4: asked Randy if he would give Shockley a tour over there,
- 27:09Speaker 4: and we did see your name on the wall. It's
- 27:11Speaker 4: really cool if you get the opportunity to go check
- 27:13Speaker 4: it out.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Well, and that's where reised the race. If you go
- 27:17Speaker 2: down old I think it's thirty four, yeah, out of
- 27:20Speaker 2: Saint Albans and there's a logging outfit right there on
- 27:25Speaker 2: the left. That's where Winfield Drag's trip was. And that's
- 27:29Speaker 2: where I used to race. I mean I was eighteen
- 27:32Speaker 2: years old. Yeah, it was nineteen sixty nine. It was
- 27:36Speaker 2: quite a summer. I raced early, Like in April. One
- 27:44Speaker 2: of my first races, I was racing a guy and
- 27:47Speaker 2: he lost control of his car and got killed. And
- 27:51Speaker 2: I won six trophies that year and it was quite
- 27:57Speaker 2: an exciting year. And then Phil I was working the
- 28:01Speaker 2: filling station and filling station kind of closed in September
- 28:06Speaker 2: and they were going to get new owners. And that's
- 28:13Speaker 2: when I was drafted. So I had a couple of
- 28:15Speaker 2: months to put all around.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Good times in the summer of sixty nine, right.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Now, Oh, it was great, It was, it was. It
- 28:22Speaker 2: was really exciting. I mean, I built an engine in
- 28:25Speaker 2: my garage and I moved it around in a wheelbarrow, okay,
- 28:32Speaker 2: and I had a chainfall, an a frame. An a frame.
- 28:38Speaker 2: You put a chainfall, you hook it on there, and
- 28:40Speaker 2: then you you you hook the chain fall into the
- 28:42Speaker 2: engine and then you pull it up and then you
- 28:46Speaker 2: move your car under it so you can put the
- 28:49Speaker 2: engine in.
- 28:49Speaker 4: Your car slides right in there.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and you put the go ahead and put the
- 28:55Speaker 2: bell housing and the transformission on. Put it all in once.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Talk to Dan Jones of a Dave Island show in
- 29:01Speaker 4: five Vidieline brought to you apart by Morgan. Morgan America's
- 29:04Speaker 4: largest injury law firm. I want to get your thoughts
- 29:06Speaker 4: on the death of Lindsay Green.
- 29:10Speaker 2: They go back to ninety eight. That's when I first
- 29:13Speaker 2: became aware of his existence. There was a House Judiciary
- 29:18Speaker 2: committee and they were impeaching President Clinton, and he was
- 29:25Speaker 2: a standout.
- 29:26Speaker 4: They call them managers, right, that's I know.
- 29:29Speaker 2: But that's over in the Senate.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 29:31Speaker 2: He was just a member it, but he was. He
- 29:34Speaker 2: was the best Republican. Asa Hutchinson wasn't bad either, but
- 29:39Speaker 2: Lindsay stood far and above. Now on the Democrat side,
- 29:43Speaker 2: they had a guy named Howard Berman. He was a
- 29:46Speaker 2: Democrat and he wasn't. Everybody was yelling at everybody, but Howard,
- 29:53Speaker 2: like the Republicans would direct stuff at him because he
- 29:56Speaker 2: was very reasonable. He disagreed, but it was very reasonable,
- 30:00Speaker 2: probably the way politics should be. But Lindsey when he
- 30:05Speaker 2: would cross examine people, I mean, he was unbelievable. And
- 30:12Speaker 2: he was an attorney by a trade. He was in
- 30:14Speaker 2: the correct He was in the Air Force and it
- 30:16Speaker 2: remained in the Guard for years after that. And he
- 30:19Speaker 2: was jagged. He was in jagcarps. Yeah, yeah, and he was.
- 30:23Speaker 2: He would talk about representing people, you know, I lets
- 30:27Speaker 2: him talk about that. But his life story is very compelling.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Born in the back I believe, of a liquor store,
- 30:36Speaker 2: and his parents died when he was in his late
- 30:40Speaker 2: like eighteen or something. He had a twelve or thirteen
- 30:43Speaker 2: year old sister and he had to raise her.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Yeah, while he was in college.
- 30:46Speaker 2: He was in college, he raised her own so security money.
- 30:51Speaker 2: And he was always grateful to the country for that reason.
- 30:58Speaker 2: And I wonder if his sister is still she is.
- 31:01Speaker 4: They have referenced her a lot of the statements that
- 31:03Speaker 4: have gone out. I cannot I'll look it up during
- 31:05Speaker 4: the break. I cannot think of her name right now.

- 35:46Speaker 2: You know, the stuff they had against Brett Kavanall happened
- 35:50Speaker 2: when he was seventeen years old and the young lady

- 36:02Speaker 4: Saturday Night Live a couple of weeks ago, did well
- 36:06Speaker 4: back in the season ended, I guess in May, but
- 36:08Speaker 4: I'm a little behind him watching things sometimes. They did
- 36:11Speaker 4: an absolutely hilarious skit of uh. They had the actor
- 36:15Speaker 4: Matt Damon, who was playing Brett Kavanaugh, and they had
- 36:18Speaker 4: the Colin Joes who's the guy at his weekend update
- 36:21Speaker 4: who does a great pete hegseath. And then they had
- 36:24Speaker 4: the guy and I don't know his name off the
- 36:26Speaker 4: top of my head, but he was on the show
- 36:28Speaker 4: Parks and Wreck and he was playing Cash Betel and
- 36:31Speaker 4: they were in a bar doing shots, and it was
- 36:34Speaker 4: it was so over the top. It was really funny.
- 36:36Speaker 4: It was it was really funny. You know, going back
- 36:39Speaker 4: to Lindsay Graham, Danny, he had a very interesting relationship
- 36:42Speaker 4: with President Trump, you know from at one point he
- 36:44Speaker 4: called him McCook and unfit to run for office. He
- 36:49Speaker 4: said on January I guess it had been January seventh,
- 36:51Speaker 4: you know, the day after the sixth, he said, count
- 36:53Speaker 4: me out of all this. But then he goes on
- 36:56Speaker 4: to be his bff and his golf buddy and everything else. Well,
- 37:01Speaker 4: that's politics.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Lindsey always had a man, even though once it was
- 37:09Speaker 2: a woman that he would hang around with. And first
- 37:15Speaker 2: it was John McCain. Yeah, he and McCain were very
- 37:17Speaker 2: and then it was Joe Lieberman.
- 37:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 37:20Speaker 4: Yeah, they called the three of them the three amigos.
- 37:22Speaker 2: But then they left, I mean at different times, but
- 37:25Speaker 2: they left. You know, when McCain got nominated in two
- 37:28Speaker 2: thousand and eight, he wanted Joe Lieberman to be his
- 37:32Speaker 2: running maid and it would never worked. He picked Sarah
- 37:36Speaker 2: Palin and didn't go very well. But she didn't pick them.
- 37:45Speaker 2: They picked her. They called her the Alaska State Fair
- 37:49Speaker 2: to ask her if he wanted to be vice president?
- 37:52Speaker 4: And do you think McCain would have done better had
- 37:55Speaker 4: he had a stronger vice presidential.
- 37:57Speaker 2: He wasn't gonna win, not then the country was in
- 38:01Speaker 2: too much trouble. It was people were spoiling for the change.
- 38:05Speaker 2: And he had the right guy on the Democrats. You know,
- 38:09Speaker 2: Obama was a good candidate, and you had and then
- 38:17Speaker 2: he hung out with Kelly at and then she got
- 38:20Speaker 2: beat in New Hampshire. And but he's always had somebody
- 38:25Speaker 2: he kind of hung out with. And I think politicians
- 38:29Speaker 2: are regular people.
- 38:29Speaker 4: That's what they do. We hang out with.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and then it was it was President Trump.
- 38:35Speaker 4: But after I mean he did that after you know,
- 38:38Speaker 4: they had all of the issues because I mean really
- 38:39Speaker 4: he called him a kook, and Trump said bad things
- 38:42Speaker 4: about him, and but it's I know, it's politics, and.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Well he is it's a draft up in kuk.
- 38:50Speaker 4: But but they were able to mend fences.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I guess I don't think they ever mended fences. I
- 38:55Speaker 2: just think things evolve.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, we just come back from you crane
- 39:00Speaker 4: and uh, he made several I mean that was that
- 39:03Speaker 4: was Lindsay Graham's strong suit was foreign policy and much
- 39:08Speaker 4: too a lot of people sagrin because they thought he
- 39:11Speaker 4: was he was a little bit too much of a hawk.
- 39:14Speaker 4: But but he he had just gotten back from Ukraine.
- 39:18Speaker 4: And then I guess the story is this Saturday evening
- 39:21Speaker 4: they were dispatched to his home. Looks like it was
- 39:23Speaker 4: a heart issue that led to his such the.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Same thing as that to his dad.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Yeah, oh is it? Yeah, I did not know that.
- 39:30Speaker 2: And the Guardian. There's a magazine called The Guardian, and
- 39:34Speaker 2: I was looking through stuff this morning at three o'clock
- 39:40Speaker 2: and the Guardian had a had a thing on there.
- 39:44Speaker 2: You know a lot of these headlines it said grand
- 39:51Speaker 2: left a trail of blood with his support for Israel
- 39:55Speaker 2: and U Ukraine. But they took it down. They took
- 40:00Speaker 2: it down.
- 40:01Speaker 4: It was they were the ones that said that Guardians.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that was one. They had several headlines about him,
- 40:07Speaker 2: but that they took that one down. And I think
- 40:13Speaker 2: if from where I sat, he occupied a lot of space.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I mean that's a that's a term I learned when
- 40:22Speaker 2: political science class from Beryl Beller. Politicians occupy space. It's
- 40:29Speaker 2: kind of like a TV set.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Well. But and there are those that are always in
- 40:34Speaker 4: the news, whether they don't necessarily have to be a
- 40:36Speaker 4: House speaker or Senate president or able to bring it locally.
- 40:40Speaker 4: It's just there are those that are always in the
- 40:43Speaker 4: news and they're always out there, and then there's other
- 40:45Speaker 4: ones you just don't hear from at all.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, some of them because of the nature of
- 40:49Speaker 2: their position, like Schumer or John Thune, yeah, you know,
- 40:55Speaker 2: or when Bainer was speaker.
- 40:57Speaker 4: But there's just some I think that the cameras, just
- 40:59Speaker 4: like at the media likes because I mean, you know,
- 41:02Speaker 4: doing what we do for a living, you can't interview everybody,
- 41:06Speaker 4: and you want to. You want to get the best SoundBite.
- 41:08Speaker 4: You know who's going to give you the best sound
- 41:09Speaker 4: with it, whether it's a republic or Democrat.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Senator Graham was very accessible and a very nice person.
- 41:17Speaker 2: And I was flabberg gassed.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Did you ever meet Lindsay Green?
- 41:21Speaker 2: No, but I posted a picture of my son met
- 41:26Speaker 2: him in an airport and Jarrett's mother and Jarrett approached
- 41:34Speaker 2: him and you can see it's on my Facebook page.
- 41:39Speaker 2: And he was very nice and he stood behind Jared
- 41:43Speaker 2: held his thumb up and Jarrett was sitting down, he
- 41:47Speaker 2: was standing up and it was just a very nice
- 41:50Speaker 2: thing to do. You didn't have to do that.
- 41:52Speaker 4: Tex says, if you're one of these despicable people who
- 41:54Speaker 4: are just giddy over or celebrating the death of someone
- 41:57Speaker 4: you hate just because they don't think like you or
- 41:59Speaker 4: hold the thing abuses you. That tells the world a
- 42:02Speaker 4: lot more about you than it does about him and
- 42:05Speaker 4: blank the what about isms. Those who try that are
- 42:08Speaker 4: the very same who cheered when Trump was shot and
- 42:11Speaker 4: Charlie Kirk was assassinated. This is why the divide will
- 42:14Speaker 4: never mend.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Well, there are people on both sides, I might add
- 42:18Speaker 2: that feel that way, and people cheer. Some people cheered
- 42:25Speaker 2: Charlie Curter, and there's some people that are just itching
- 42:29Speaker 2: for Mitch McConnell to die. And I hope he doesn't
- 42:34Speaker 2: know his term.
- 42:36Speaker 4: And I will say this and I don't. I mean,
- 42:39Speaker 4: I somewhat agree with what the Texter said, but I
- 42:43Speaker 4: did this thing last night and I'm want to talk
- 42:45Speaker 4: about it a little bit more in Metro News medic
- 42:47Speaker 4: I'm done with social media. I mean, I did a
- 42:49Speaker 4: post on my personal page last night and said I'm done.
- 42:53Speaker 4: I mean, I'm going to continue the Dave Allen radio
- 42:55Speaker 4: page for news, and I'm going to continue my ex page,
- 42:58Speaker 4: but it's all station re late. I am not doing anything.
- 43:01Speaker 4: I'm not scrolling comments anymore. I'm done with social media
- 43:04Speaker 4: after yesterday. And my point was, and I had somebody
- 43:06Speaker 4: that said, well, this is you know, you don't see
- 43:09Speaker 4: Republicans doing this one Democrat, Yeah, they kind of do.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Do you remember the horrible things that were said about
- 43:15Speaker 4: Michelle Obama? And I'm not talking about performance of Barack Obama.
- 43:19Speaker 4: I was one of his biggest critics and policy wise
- 43:23Speaker 4: continue to be today. Okay, but it is both sides,
- 43:27Speaker 4: and both sides are toxic as hell, and I want
- 43:30Speaker 4: no part of it.
- 43:31Speaker 2: I'm done well. On Facebook, You're done well. I like Facebook,
- 43:39Speaker 2: but see I don't do much politics. Yeah, Facebook, And
- 43:42Speaker 2: I remember when I posted the thing about more becoming
- 43:50Speaker 2: US attorney Shelley Son. There were two people and one
- 43:56Speaker 2: of them you know very well, who just got on
- 44:02Speaker 2: there and just went crazy, and I just blocked him.
- 44:05Speaker 2: And I blocked that one person. Now I've blocked his
- 44:08Speaker 2: phone number. I don't ever want to talk to him again.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Let me do this. I got a couple of texts

- 46:20Speaker 4: what do you know, here we are eighteen years later
- 46:22Speaker 4: and we're seeing the Marxist fruits of his labor taking over.
- 46:26Speaker 2: That was too deep for me just too deep.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Tex says, we were not itching for Mitch McConnell to die.
- 46:34Speaker 4: We just want an honest report on his condition. A text.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Well, you don't speak for anybody but yourself, whoever that is,
- 46:42Speaker 2: because there's a lot of people wanting to die. Well,

- 46:55Speaker 4: We just shut up, Tex, says Dave Lindsay. Graham was
- 46:59Speaker 4: a true patriot, did a lot to strengthen this country,
- 47:02Speaker 4: always spoke his mind and will be sadly missed.
- 47:05Speaker 2: I agree with that.
- 47:07Speaker 4: Here's the thing I think we've lost sight of, Danny.
- 47:09Speaker 4: I think that we've lost sight of whether you agree
- 47:11Speaker 4: or disagree with somebody, you can't appreciate their service. Okay.
- 47:16Speaker 4: I had a lot of issues, and I was a
- 47:17Speaker 4: younger person when Robert Bird was in office. I had
- 47:20Speaker 4: a lot of issues with Robert Bird, but I appreciated
- 47:23Speaker 4: his service to the country. I can appreciate Democrats. I
- 47:27Speaker 4: can appreciate liberal democrats, conservative Republicans for serving and doing
- 47:33Speaker 4: what they think is right. I caught a lot of
- 47:35Speaker 4: flag from my buddies in the coal industry because I
- 47:38Speaker 4: was steadfastly against Barack Obama because solely on his status
- 47:43Speaker 4: on coal. I mean, I'm from southern West Virginia. However,
- 47:47Speaker 4: I have said I don't think that Barack Obama was
- 47:49Speaker 4: a bad person. Now, I just disagreed with his PoCA.
- 47:53Speaker 2: He's a great guy. He was a dinny bopper. The
- 47:57Speaker 2: way he walked, he bounced when he when he walked.
- 48:02Speaker 2: But I I I'm trying to remember what I was
- 48:10Speaker 2: gonna say. Maybe it's about, Oh, Sarah Palin. I wanted
- 48:15Speaker 2: to say, a game change is on one of the platforms.
- 48:20Speaker 2: It may be Prime or it may be Netflix, and
- 48:24Speaker 2: it's about the two thousand and eight election, and it's
- 48:29Speaker 2: mostly about the McCain side. And it is not kind
- 48:33Speaker 2: to Sarah Palin, really not at all. And she was
- 48:36Speaker 2: not invited to his funeral. She did not ask to
- 48:41Speaker 2: be a candidate. She was up there, had a eighty
- 48:45Speaker 2: percent rating as governor, all of a life.
- 48:48Speaker 4: But she could have said no, she should have.
- 48:52Speaker 2: But he romanceer, you know, took her to the They
- 48:59Speaker 2: were to her his place and they talked.
- 49:01Speaker 4: And when you say you don't mean literally.
