- 0:01Speaker 1: I'll start to you to present Off the Bench.
- 0:04Speaker 2: This is what we have been waiting for.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Off the Bench. Now here's Jacob.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Past Welcome into a Wednesday edition of Off the Bench.
- 0:21Taylor Sharper with your filling end for Jacob Pastor. Elandra
- 0:24Villareale here as always, and as you heard by the
- 0:27wonderfully put intro, Jordan Kitchens is here with us as well. Elandra,
- 0:33you texted me this morning said, hey, I'm gonna be
- 0:35coming in a little hot had power hour. How was that?
- 0:38Speaker 2: It was good?
- 0:39Speaker 4: But I'm just still I don't know what just happened. Yes,
- 0:42right before the show.
- 0:43Speaker 3: We were we were gonna start with with baseball, but
- 0:47where we're gonna get there? Okay, Jordan leaves the studio
- 0:50two minutes for the show starts. All of a sudden,
- 0:52he's running back in. We look up. Elandra goes to Jordan,
- 0:56what's going on? His pants are like unzipped, like way down.
- 1:01We're trying to figure out what's going on, Jordan. Ory, Okay,
- 1:05that's aggressive.
- 1:07Speaker 5: You know, we have to set the table. We can't
- 1:10just come out here and be like, oh, this guy's
- 1:12around with his pants off. No, that's not what's going on.
- 1:14So let me set the table everybody. So what happened was,
- 1:20you know I'm making the YouTube thumbnail, Well, why not
- 1:23making a YouTube thumb Now I forgot I have to
- 1:24put the YouTube thumbnail in. So I'm sitting at my
- 1:27desk and I'm like, oh, snap, it's five fifty seven.
- 1:30I gotta go do this real quick, you know, put
- 1:32the titler in whatever. So I go run and do that.
- 1:34I look at the clock. Six point fifty nine. Keep
- 1:37in mind, guys, I have to go. I don't like
- 1:39to drink coffee, so I had to drink me a
- 1:43nice doctor Pepper this morning. Give me a little pepper
- 1:45my step and now Dr Pepper just went straight through me.
- 1:48So I'm looking at the clock. I'm panicking. I'm in
- 1:50the bathroom. I'm like, okay, you know, I got like
- 1:52thirty seconds at this point, so I you know, you
- 1:54gotta do what you gotta do. Do what I do.
- 1:57And I'm thinking I'm out of time. So I'm like
- 1:59running back in the studio and everybody's like, why you're
- 2:01running back? What's going on here? What's going on here?
- 2:04And I'm like, well, in my mind, I'm out of time. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:09you're right. So you know, Land had to hold the
- 2:11four down. You know who hold the line. Let me
- 2:13get set up first, let me get the weather together.
- 2:15So that's what happened. I'm not a maniac running with
- 2:17my pants off everybody. No, I just a bad look.
- 2:20Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:21Speaker 5: I'm a team player. I'm a team player. Yes, did
- 2:25you did?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Right?
- 2:26Speaker 3: There?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Turned into he's a team player?
- 2:28Speaker 5: But team player?
- 2:30Speaker 3: Did you get your p in at least?
- 2:31Speaker 5: Oh bro?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Because like, like you know this, Yeah, there's nothing worse.
- 2:35It's a guy like you're halfway through that pee. You
- 2:37gotta like y'all try to clench it. You can, you
- 2:40can't do it.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And I just know he didn't wash his hands.
- 2:45Speaker 5: Listen, you know when you have hand sanitized. This is
- 2:49that I can't lie. Y'all't hear y'all, don't hear a
- 2:52foster running. We're not stupid, We're not stupid. Nobody heard
- 2:55the fowtert running. But but I was able to get
- 2:59in right for the show start, able to drain the
- 3:01main vein. We're all good, we're all settled. We're here
- 3:05for three hours locked in.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Are you doing good this morning?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Jordan?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah? I neglected to ask you that with all the uh,
- 3:12you know, things going on when you came.
- 3:14Speaker 5: In, things happened, things happened. But you know this, this
- 3:16is the whole point about being a Foxhold guy. You know,
- 3:18you find yourself back against the wall. You gotta find
- 3:21a way to get to get out.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Would some would say fox all member wouldn't wait till
- 3:27forty five seconds before the show to pee, But it's
- 3:29a fair see.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Instead of doing that, you do it before. So you're
- 3:34all the way locked in now you're all the way
- 3:36locked and there is no there's no excuses, there is
- 3:38no I gotta go pee real quick. No, it's gone.
- 3:41You gotta worry about that.
- 3:43Speaker 3: A law Draves power power was great.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I was just telling Jordan before all that chaos happened
- 3:50that the finisher today was one hundred walking lunges with
- 3:55a kettle bell in each hand. So yeah, I'm pretty
- 4:00dead right now. And Jordan was like, I'd have to
- 4:02go back to bed, and I was like, no, trust me.
- 4:03I took a shower and my bed was made and
- 4:05I looked down my bed and I.
- 4:07Speaker 6: Was like, ooh, I would love I would love to
- 4:08be all.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Up in you right now.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Okay, man, we are wild in this morning here on.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I would love to be in my bed.
- 4:17Speaker 3: So speaking of kettle I think what makes this even yeah, okay,
- 4:24this is what makes this even funnier. Speaking of both
- 4:28of your actions here early this morning, did you'll ever
- 4:30hear the story of p Diddy with the kettle bill?
- 4:33Speaker 6: No, and I'm not sure seven o five am.
- 4:36Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, it's not a it's not a sexual story.
- 4:39So his son, he had a son, and I'm trying
- 4:44to find out where.
- 4:47Speaker 4: He.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Okay, Justin Combs was his son. He was a defensive
- 4:50back on UCLA's football team. This was years ago.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I remember this.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Okay, well, Jordan, if you haven't heard this story, day
- 4:57let his father Seawan Combs obviously.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Well, I've never heard this story. I remember his son
- 5:02playing at A Well, I don't know this.
- 5:04Speaker 3: He was like working out in the weight room or whatever,
- 5:08got mad at an assistant coach and threw a kettle
- 5:11bell at him. What didn't hit him, but threw the
- 5:13kettle bell at him that some strength that might have
- 5:15been a sign, might have been a sign.
- 5:17Speaker 5: Did he get kicked off the team?
- 5:19Speaker 3: No, not, he he was working out in the in
- 5:24the weight room through the kettle bell at the coach.
- 5:26Speaker 5: That's why was he even there? What's going on here?
- 5:29Speaker 3: He was a celebrity father in Los Angeles, so famous.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Whatever can you imagine if Deshaun Foster was the coach
- 5:36at the time and he did he threw a kettle
- 5:38bell at him, he would have nothing to say to him.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Okay, here we go, here, here's a sorry, I gotta
- 5:42put up. So an assistant coach, sal Alosi had apparently
- 5:45been ripping into Justin Combs during a recent u c
- 5:48l A practice that did he attended unhappy with the
- 5:52treatment of his son? Did he decided to visit Alosi
- 5:54in his office? Words were said, a scuttle, a scuffle ensued,
- 5:58and then things escalated. Did he took a kettlebell of
- 6:02an undisclosed weight into his hand? And reports are unclear,
- 6:06but they seem to involve uh, did he swinging the
- 6:10kettlebell and throwing it in the general direction? Okay, so
- 6:12this wasn't even in the weight room, But.
- 6:16Speaker 6: I'm trying to imagine how I would throw a kettlebell.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Must have been by a handle, like.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Pretty heavy, like five pound. I don't use.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're also not using it as a projectile either.
- 6:34Speaker 5: So well, hold on, So Taylor, what did you tell
- 6:36me is this man had the secret kettlebell on him
- 6:38in the in the meeting, like he was probabilitated.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I'm assuming, I don't know, you know, I'm assuming that
- 6:44there was probably a kettlebell nearby in the office. Like
- 6:47maybe this guy was like a strength coach or whatever.
- 6:50But what if he just went on I don't think
- 6:52did he showed up knocking on the door with a
- 6:54kettlebell in his hand and you let him in the office.
- 6:56Speaker 5: I don't know, a trench coat on. It was like
- 6:58in the trench coat, it's got a kettlebell weight, like
- 7:00premeditated sex. You say something, kettle belt to the head
- 7:04right there. I respect that a little bit, don't. Okay, don't.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 7:11Speaker 5: It's not respect. I respect. I respect audacity to do that.
- 7:19Speaker 3: To do a lot of things. I wanted to start
- 7:23this show with some college baseball talk, but Jordan, it's
- 7:31it's eight minutes after we'll we'll combine both of our
- 7:34college baseball segments into one. This is what we'll do.
- 7:37We'll do that next stay up and watching the NBA
- 7:41game last night, oh man, of course, maybe I couldn't sleep.
- 7:45My blood was pumping like this was. This was one
- 7:46of like the so like really as far as like
- 7:50locked into playoffs, it's really me you and Hester. That's
- 7:54kind of it as far as like like everybody has
- 7:56their team, like Landre loves the Spurs, you know, but
- 7:58like even when the Pelar aren't good, like you and I,
- 8:01we watched the playoffs. Yeah, man, I remember being freshman
- 8:05in high school is really when I fell in love
- 8:07with the NBA playoffs. Like it was because I was
- 8:09I was at summer football workouts, like it would be
- 8:11in the morning, that afternoon, whatever, enjoy your summer to.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Come home that night.
- 8:16Speaker 3: NBA playoffs every single night during the summer. I mean
- 8:19that's when. That's when I've had. This was one of
- 8:21those peak like back to back, full court, just hard
- 8:25nosed basketball because it's weird. It's like it was one
- 8:27thirty one to one twenty or one twenty two, whatever
- 8:30the hell it was, but like there was also defense
- 8:32in that game as well. It was just like dude,
- 8:35I mean it was.
- 8:36Speaker 7: It was.
- 8:37Speaker 3: It was phenomena. Like I didn't sleep last night because
- 8:40of it. Okay, look We're just gonna go ahead and
- 8:42take a break since that first segment was not at
- 8:45all we thought it was going to be. But uh,
- 8:47we'll come back. We'll have an extended second segment. I'll
- 8:50get a Lunis thoughts on this as well. The betting
- 8:53nods for the favorites to win the College World Series
- 8:56is out. LSU Tiger's high on that list. And then
- 8:59I also I want to talk about maybe the easiest
- 9:01regionals and the hardest regionals across all of college baseball
- 9:05as we enter those this weekend. Both of those coming
- 9:07up next. You're on off the bench.
- 9:09Speaker 7: Off the bench, all right, go to Boudroselectrical dot com.
- 9:16Budros Electrical dot Com is the website, and if you're
- 9:19looking for more information on a whole home generator, that
- 9:23is the place to go to top right corner of
- 9:25the website, red tab right there. Click on that for
- 9:28that free quote that we tell you about all the time.
- 9:32Speaker 8: And trust me when I say, it's never a good
- 9:35time to have your power go out, but you certainly
- 9:38don't want it in this time of the year in
- 9:41South Louisiana. It is not going to be bearable. It
- 9:45is going to be something that is going to make you.
- 9:47Speaker 5: More than miserable.
- 9:48Speaker 8: Right So, but if you have that whole home generator,
- 9:50as soon as the power goes out, the AC is
- 9:51not going to go anywhere because that thing's going to
- 9:53kick on and you're going to be saved. So if
- 9:56you want more information on the North Shore called nine
- 9:59eight five three six two in the greater Baton Rouge
- 10:03area called two two five three zero zero nine three
- 10:06eight nine, always online at Boujos Electrical dot com.
- 10:10Speaker 3: More power, more protection.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Welcome back to Off the Bench.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Welcome back in second segment here on a Wednesday edition
- 10:37of OTB Taylor Trophy with you filling in for mister Jacobs.
- 10:41So we got a Landra, Villa Reale and Jordan Kitchens here,
- 10:43and we have already had a lot of fun here
- 10:46on this Wednesday morning. We talked about a Landra's Power Hour,
- 10:50Jordan walking in with his pants on zipped, and uh
- 10:54an old story of uh P Diddy swinging a kettlebell
- 10:58at a UCLA assistant football coach. So we've burned through
- 11:02a lot of topics already here on this Wednesday morning.
- 11:07Wanted to actually start the show with a little bit
- 11:09of college baseball. But sometimes, look things happen. You gotta
- 11:13tell a couple stories. That's kind of where the opening
- 11:15of the show went. But right now, want to look
- 11:18at the odds to win the College World Series because
- 11:21they are out and your LSU Tigers are six to
- 11:24one odds. That's the second best odds in the entire country.
- 11:28The favorites are the Arkansas Razorbacks at plus four hundred.
- 11:32I get it. They're forty three and thirteen on the season.
- 11:36They finished the SEC with a twenty and ten record
- 11:39a won a game in the SEC Tournament. I understand,
- 11:42but haven't we seen this before? Look, I think Arkansas
- 11:46is a great baseball program. I think Dave van Horne
- 11:48is a really good coach. But it just seems like
- 11:50time and time again, Arkansas every year looks prime to
- 11:54win it all, only to fall short. I mean, when
- 11:56was it twenty nineteen, twenty eighteen, something like that. They're
- 12:00a foul ball catch away from winning the College World Series.
- 12:04Their infielder's completely with there's three guys standing there, nobody
- 12:07catches the foul ball. They ultimately lose in the College
- 12:10World Series finals. Just stuff like that happens to Arkansas
- 12:14time and time again in the College World Series. We
- 12:16get it. They're a great team. They've been good all year.
- 12:20I know everybody hates the University of Texas. I think
- 12:23they've been the best team in the SEC all year long.
- 12:25Texas would have been my betting favorite to win it all,
- 12:28just strictly based on what we've seen so far this year,
- 12:31I would go with Texas, not Arkansas. But look right
- 12:34behind Arkansas, it's LSU. It's six to one odds, So
- 12:38can the Tigers get it done? They certainly have the
- 12:42pitching to do this. Look, I love what I've seen
- 12:44from this staff lately. You have two top flight starters.
- 12:47It's funny after the first game in the SEC Tournament
- 12:51where both Anderson and Ianson pitched, Jay Johnson was asked
- 12:55about Kate Anderson. He goes, look, he's the best pitcher
- 12:57in the country. The only person he might be tied
- 12:58with is ant of the Ions. And I mean it
- 13:00doesn't really matter to me. You can say, Okay, Kate
- 13:03Anderson's your ace as far as I'm concerned, Kate Anderson's
- 13:06your day one starter. Ions in your day two. You
- 13:09have two aces on this staff. They have both been excellent. Also,
- 13:13it's looking like you may have some solid options for
- 13:16your third and fourth starter. Everyone on this show has
- 13:19always talked about, Look, when you get to Omaha, you
- 13:22may have to dip in a little bit, start a
- 13:24third a fourth arm, A guy like you see it
- 13:26every single year, right You saw it with Nate Ackenhowison
- 13:29two years ago when LSU won the National Championship. He
- 13:32wasn't a weekend starter in that rotation. But because of
- 13:35rest for Paul Skins and some other factors like Nate
- 13:38Ackenhow's another step up and start a game in the
- 13:40National Championship. What arms can you rely on out of
- 13:44the bullpit? Because we know Anderson and Ionsen, in my opinion,
- 13:48best duo in the country. As far as starting pitchers,
- 13:51I throughout the names that I know for sure this
- 13:54team can count on. Zach Callen, Cason Evans if he's
- 13:58not starting, Chase Shores if he's not starting, Connor Ware,
- 14:03Jacob Myers, Cooper Williams, Jaden Newton. Those are seven guys
- 14:08right now I feel comfortable with. Now in Landro have
- 14:11three more names. I'm gonna throw them out to you
- 14:13and you tell me if you'd feel comfortable throw them
- 14:16out there. They're talented, they've done some good, they've done
- 14:18some bad.
- 14:19Speaker 2: To start, No.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Like that you'd feel comfortable with out of the bullpen,
- 14:22because like we we know the starters. I just named
- 14:25seven arms that could either be maybe your third starter
- 14:27out of the bullpen? Did everyone knows? Okay, how about
- 14:31this name Maverick Risey? Can he count on him? Yes? Okay,
- 14:36that's a but still you can DJ Primo, Yes, okay,
- 14:43that's nine. William Schmidt this was my biggest question mark.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I don't know, he's very hit or miss. I would
- 14:55say no.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I would say no as well. Okay, that's kind of
- 15:00the point of this exercise is that no, you're look,
- 15:04he's a freshman. He's a freshman. He's going to get better.
- 15:06But I just listed Callen Evans Shores where Myers, Williams Newt,
- 15:11and then Landra said yes on Rizzi and Primo. That's
- 15:15nine arms. Now, of course a couple of them are
- 15:17going to have to start, Like as Jade Newt going
- 15:18to be your third starter? Is it going to be
- 15:21case and Evans? But look, earlier in this season it was, hey,
- 15:25you're starting anderson Ians and Chase Shores. You can rely
- 15:29on two guys out of the bullpen and Zach Collen
- 15:31Case and Evans. Everybody else is a giant question mark.
- 15:34We've talked about the struggles of this offense. It's been
- 15:37flipped completely. As far as this LSU pitching staff. I
- 15:40think there's multiple guys that you can count on, But
- 15:45the bats are a concern for me. Now. The good
- 15:48news issue is great at home in hitting, and they're
- 15:52going to be at home and the regionals and the Supers,
- 15:54which they got to go through in order to get
- 15:55to Omaha. It's so weird, like this team is a
- 15:58night and day offensive at home and then on the route.
- 16:03Not very long ago, they scored nine runs total at
- 16:06Texas A and M. That's a team that didn't even
- 16:08make it into this tournament. Nine runs. Then they come
- 16:11home against Arkansas, who's now the betting favorite to win
- 16:13it all. They score twenty two runs that weekend. What
- 16:17happens when they go to Hoover away from alex Box,
- 16:19they score four runs in two games. It's I can't
- 16:24figure out why this team cannot hit away from alex Box.
- 16:28It's one of the bigger questions for me. So getting
- 16:31to Omaha shouldn't be a problem. My bigger question is
- 16:35what are they going to do when they ultimately get there.
- 16:37Because you're at home in a regional, you're at home
- 16:40against a super regional. You've been able to hit inside
- 16:42alec box. I'm not concerned with that whatsoever. And your
- 16:46pichon has been good enough to carry you anyways. But
- 16:48once you get to Omaha, what's the batting going to
- 16:52look like? I mean, you have Ethan Fry who's been
- 16:55on a tear, and then I mean, you know, you're
- 16:57top three or four in the order, Curiel Dickinson, Jared Jones,
- 17:00I mean they are who they are, right, Jake Brown's
- 17:03out there as well. But the bottom part of your order, now,
- 17:06coming into the season we talked about, oh you have
- 17:08talent one through nine in this order. The bottom part
- 17:11of your order has not stepped up in quite some time.
- 17:13All right, look who you have down there, Luis Hernandez,
- 17:16Stephen Mylem, Michael braswell, Chris Stanfield, depending on where you
- 17:19want to put him. Those guys need to step up. Now.
- 17:21Stanfield's been the best of that group by fault. He's
- 17:24been really good at the bottom part of that order,
- 17:26but Islem Hernandez braswell. Those guys have to step up
- 17:30in order for you. Took a beat in Omaha. Going
- 17:37back to the regionals, though, I was looking at the
- 17:40brackets yesterday and look, we talked a lot yesterday about
- 17:43how easy the LSU Regional was. We're gonna take that
- 17:46out of the equation. I kind of wanted to look
- 17:48at the hardest regionals and the easiest regionals across the country.
- 17:55For me, just out of the gate, looking at it
- 17:59surface level, Hattiesburg Regional has to be one of the toughest,
- 18:02at least for the host site. The Southern miss is
- 18:05the host obviously, be of Miami and Alabama also there.
- 18:09Look at Alabama, they're forty one and sixteen on the year,
- 18:12sixteen and fourteen in the conference, and in my opinion,
- 18:16their top three batteries are as good as any trio
- 18:18in the country. Kate Snell's batting three sixty six. Richie
- 18:22Bonomolo is at three to twenty, and we all know
- 18:24how great of a two way player Justin Lebron is.
- 18:26He's at three fifteen. And it's not just that they
- 18:29hit for average. So Kate Snell has twelve home runs,
- 18:32Justin Lebron has eighteen, and Richie Bonamolo has eight, So
- 18:35all three of those guys hit for power and average.
- 18:37That is a dangerous, dangerous one two three at the
- 18:40top of that lineup. Their pichon's been below average. I mean,
- 18:44they have a five to one to one ERA on
- 18:45the season as a team, but most of the usual
- 18:48weekend arms have actually been pretty solid. You have a
- 18:51couple guys in Alabama's bullpen who have like a twenty
- 18:53two EER that's bringing up the team. Ert the guys
- 18:56you see on the weekend, they've actually been better as
- 18:58of late. And then you look at a team like
- 19:01Miami about two seventy eight. As a team, they have
- 19:05sixty eight home runs on the year, but a five
- 19:08point h three e RA, and they have a decent
- 19:11starting rotation. As far as their their three weekend arms
- 19:14of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, they're thirty one and twenty four overall,
- 19:19fifteen and fourteen in the ACC. Now here's where it's
- 19:22going to help out Southern miss At home, Miami is
- 19:25twenty two and nine away, they're seven and fourteen, so
- 19:30that is going to play in Southern missus favorite because
- 19:32they are the host team. But I just look at
- 19:34that regional. I'm not sure Southern Miss makes it out
- 19:37of there. I mean when I look at Alabama and
- 19:39you know at least the top arms in their weekend rotation.
- 19:43I look at their batting line up top to bottom.
- 19:45I mentioned snell, Lebron and Bontomolo. I kind of think
- 19:48Alabama is going to make it out of this region.
- 19:51And I get it. Southern Miss is a great team.
- 19:52They have earned the right to be a host site.
- 19:54They're a HOS site most years because they're a good
- 19:56baseball program. But I just think Alabama battle tested. They
- 20:01have a winning record in the SEC. We know how
- 20:03tough that conference has been all year long. You've won
- 20:05forty one games this year. I got it like Alabama
- 20:08to come out of the regional. I don't know if
- 20:10Southern Miss makes it out of their own regional. I
- 20:12think that is a very difficult draw for the Golden Eagles. Now,
- 20:17as far as the easiest regional goes, I think, far
- 20:21and away it's the Athens Regional. Georgia is the number
- 20:24seven national seed, but I think they got a good draw. Now,
- 20:27again we're excluding LSHU from this equation. We broke down
- 20:31that regional yesterday. Everybody knows that the Tigers got a
- 20:33favorable draw. So outside of that, I like what the
- 20:36Bulldogs at Oklahoma State's there. They're only twenty eight and
- 20:42twenty three, fifteen and twelve in the Big Twelve. Also
- 20:46just five and twelve record on the road, and they're
- 20:48going two Athens. Cowboys do come in hot. They've won
- 20:52eight of the last nine in the Big Twelve. However,
- 20:55on the season, they are hitting just two fifty four
- 20:58and they only have two guys over three hundred as
- 21:01far as batting average, but their staff is actually pretty good.
- 21:04A four to thirty three ERA is a staff, so
- 21:07they're good on the mound, they just can't really hit.
- 21:11Then you have Duke thirty seven wins, seventeen and thirteen
- 21:15in the ACC again under a three hundred batting average
- 21:19is a team two eighty nine. The ERA is four
- 21:21ninety one. And then Binghamton is the four seed in
- 21:25that regional. That's a team that a lot like Little
- 21:29Rock because like you look at Little Rock in this
- 21:31LSU regional, you're like, Okay, they have a losing record,
- 21:33but they went on a run. They won their conference tournament,
- 21:36they got into the postseason. It's similar with Binghamton. They're
- 21:39twenty nine and twenty four overall, just thirteen and eleven
- 21:42in the regular season in their conference, but they won
- 21:44the America East Championship over Bryant, so they earn the
- 21:47right to get here. A two ninety four batting average,
- 21:50so they can actually hit the ball pretty well, but
- 21:52their ERA is six forty six this season. As a staff,
- 21:57they struggle on the mound. I think Georgia is going
- 22:00to have an easy time with that. So you look
- 22:03at Duke, Binghams and Oklahoma State. Two of those three
- 22:07teams don't even have thirty wins on the season, and
- 22:11the best record between the three in conference is Duke
- 22:14at seventeen and thirteen. I think that's one of the
- 22:17easiest regionals landro as far as like easy hard, where
- 22:22do you fall? It's like like tak an l issue
- 22:23out of the equation. Like when I looked at the
- 22:25Athens Regional, I felt that one like, oh, I think
- 22:28Georgia is gonna have an easy time, Like out there,
- 22:30who do you think got a good draw? Bad drill?
- 22:32Speaker 4: So one that I was looking at and if you're
- 22:35looking at it in terms of like for the host
- 22:38the Conway Regional hosted by Coastal Carolina, or I mean,
- 22:42I guess if you're looking at it through like an
- 22:44SEC lens, because Florida is gonna go up to Conway,
- 22:48and uh, that's gonna be a tough regional because East Carolina,
- 22:51Coastal Carolina, and Florida are.
- 22:54Speaker 2: All in it.
- 22:54Speaker 4: And we know that East and Coastal Carolina always makes
- 22:57some runs in the postseason.
- 22:59Speaker 2: So I think that was gonna be a little tough.
- 23:01Speaker 4: If we're looking at it through like Florida's lens, it'll
- 23:05be tough for Florida to get out of that because
- 23:07I mean, they made it into the postseason, but they
- 23:10had a rough regular season, so that one's gonna be
- 23:14tough for them. And another one that to me kinda
- 23:20so like Tennessee snuck their way into hosting a regional.
- 23:23Speaker 3: You and I were talking about it yesterday. We were
- 23:25shocked that they got the.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Host, Yeah, which is I think that's kind of BS.
- 23:30Speaker 2: But they get an easy one too, Like they host, they're.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Getting the benefit of the dow to be in the defendition. Yeah,
- 23:36is what they're.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Getting, that's true and fair.
- 23:38Speaker 4: They're getting wake Forest, who we faced in the College
- 23:42World Series, and they're a good program, but thirty six
- 23:45and twenty on the season. And then they get Cincinnati
- 23:47who's thirty two and twenty four and Miami Ohio thirty
- 23:51five and twenty one. So the Knoxville Regional is also
- 23:55pretty easy to me. Another tough one that we were
- 23:58talking about in the break. I had a confus used
- 24:00with another one. That's why I said it was easy
- 24:03at first. This one is tough. The Austin Regional.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Houston Christian.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Thirty two and twenty three on the season, but they's
- 24:10still a solid team. And then Todd Walkerson is on
- 24:16the team. Shout out Todd walker UTSA forty four and thirteen,
- 24:20forty four and thirteen.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Yeah, there conference records like what twenty two and four.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I think that's what.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and then they're in the American right yea, yeah,
- 24:28so they're they're pretty good in that conference. And then
- 24:31you get Kansas State who's only thirty one and twenty four.
- 24:34But still, like I feel like that's kind of a
- 24:36tough regional, especially with UTSA and Houston Christian.
- 24:40Speaker 2: But That's how I was looking at it.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Any host site like I don't. I don't think Southern
- 24:46MISI gets out of the regional. I really don't want.
- 24:47I mean between Bama Miami and Southern Myss, like those
- 24:51teams are gonna beat each other up. I think that
- 24:53one's up for grabs. Is there any host team that
- 24:55you think, Hey, I don't know if they're getting out
- 24:56of their regional?
- 24:58Speaker 6: Good question. I didn't think about that one.
- 25:01Speaker 3: But because I mean Texas that's a tough regional. Texas
- 25:04is going to get They're too good of a team.
- 25:06They're going to get out of their regional.
- 25:08Speaker 4: So if Oklahoma North Carolina is a really really good team,
- 25:12so this is going to be like a very big stretch.
- 25:14But if anybody can knock them out their own regional,
- 25:16I think it'd be Oklahoma. That's probably a bad answer, though,
- 25:20because I still think you and c is going to
- 25:22make it out, and I think they're going to make a.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Pretty deep run in Omaha.
- 25:27Speaker 4: But let me see, Bandy's making it out of theirs,
- 25:31Arkansas is making it out of theirs.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I think Auburn will too.
- 25:36Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 25:36Speaker 3: I gotta tell you the Tallahassee Regional. Yeah, in Florida State,
- 25:40that was tough because you got Mississippi State there, and
- 25:43since Mississippi State fired Crystal Monas, like that team's been hot,
- 25:46I mean hot hot, Like you saw what they did
- 25:49end that season. Mississippi State could win that regional.
- 25:53Speaker 6: That's somebody that I wouldn't want to see in my regional.
- 25:56Speaker 2: I know that they had like.
- 25:57Speaker 4: That ru but once, especially once they got to Lamonas
- 26:01just went to another level. So yeah, that is somebody
- 26:05that I wouldn't want to see it. The Tally Tallahassee
- 26:07one is tough too. That's another one that I was
- 26:09looking at, like ooh, but I still think Florida State
- 26:12will make it out of that. The only one like
- 26:14Bethune Cookman might be an easy one. But yeah, Northeastern
- 26:18and Mississippi State are gonna give you some challenges. You
- 26:22know what, bold, I'm go a little bold here.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Let's hear it.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Georgia Tech might knock all Miss out their own reach.
- 26:33Georgia Tech is a solid team, and Ole Miss might
- 26:38not make it out of Oxford.
- 26:40Speaker 3: It's weird. Ole Miss is one of those teams that
- 26:42like always gets hot late, right, now that can help you,
- 26:46but it could be you're playing over your head, like
- 26:49we were talking about it yesterday when they won the
- 26:51national title a few years ago. They were the very
- 26:54last team in this tournament. They went on that crazy
- 26:57run they win the title. It's like there's such an
- 26:59up and down team it's hard to get a read on.
- 27:00But no, I'm with you. Like Georgia Tech kind of
- 27:03the opposite of Ole Miss. Like Ole Miss has been
- 27:05hot late, Georgia Tech's actually been pretty steady all year long.
- 27:08Speaker 4: We also won the ACC tournament, so they're a good team.
- 27:14Speaker 3: All right, that's kind of our baseball talk for today.
- 27:18We kind of wanted to combine it all in one
- 27:19segment because it was supposed to be two separate, but
- 27:22we we left the rails a little bit in the opening. Okay,
- 27:25we're gonna take a time album we get back. PFF
- 27:29has ranked the top quarterback rooms in college football, and
- 27:33the Tigers are at the top of that list. We'll
- 27:35break it all down next. You're on off the bench
- 27:38after bench.
- 27:39Speaker 8: All right, So you heard Flynn the other day, I
- 27:42mean he loves do sequis.
- 27:44Speaker 3: You know that.
- 27:44Speaker 8: We hear on the OTV Team Love Dose Sequis. It
- 27:48is the perfect beer for any occasion. Lake beer, beach beer,
- 27:53shower beer, bath beer, you name it, beer like ballpark beer.
- 27:58It is the go to, and we've said it, We're
- 28:01going to continue to say it. Whether you're tailgating outside
- 28:03of Tiger Stadium, watching the Saints on a Sunday, or
- 28:07just kicking back with your crew. Dose Sekis brings that
- 28:10bowl flavor and smooth finish that turns ordinary into legendary.
- 28:15Speaker 3: It's not just beer.
- 28:16Speaker 8: It is the beer of champions, or at least the
- 28:19beer of guys who.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Feel like champions.
- 28:21Speaker 8: But you will feel like a champion when you enjoy
- 28:24an ice cold Do Sekis. So you don't have to
- 28:26be a champion, because Dose Skis will make you a champion.
- 28:29So the next time you're watching the game, grab a
- 28:31do Sekis and remember stay thirsty, my friends responsibly. Of course,
- 28:35Doseki's official beer of unforgettable sports moments.
- 28:38Speaker 1: This is Off the Bench.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Coach up.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I'll be down soon, you know, tell me down? Giving
- 29:12everything inside.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Love strange, all right, welcome back in Wednesday edition of
- 29:21Off the Bench. Watch a movie with that song in
- 29:24a Yesterday No, I did not watch the Breakfast Club.
- 29:27I watched Pitch Perfect where Jesse showed Beck of the
- 29:30ending of the Breakfast Club. So that's that's what my
- 29:33afternoon consisted of me laying on the couch in and
- 29:36out of consciousness watching Pitch Perfect. That's that's uh, that's
- 29:39how Taylor spent his Tuesday afternoon. Okay, right now, I
- 29:43want to talk a little bit of LSU football, as
- 29:45PFF put out the top ten quarterback rooms heading into
- 29:50the twenty twenty five season. Now, keep in mind, this
- 29:52is not individual players. This is a room as a whole,
- 29:54starter and backup. I'll run through the top ten here
- 29:57pretty quick. Number ten, it's Ohio State. Makes a lot
- 30:00of sense. There's talent there. You have Julian Sayan, Tavian
- 30:04Saint Clair, the red shirt freshman. Lincoln keen Holes is
- 30:06there as well. He was a top fifteen quarterback or
- 30:09creed back in twenty twenty three. I think that's Julian
- 30:11Sayan's job to lose a lot of talent between him
- 30:14and keen Holes. However, neither of them have the experience,
- 30:18so I get that right there. Number nine, the Alabama
- 30:21Crimson tied. I think this is a terrible spot for
- 30:23them on the list because I don't think they should
- 30:24be on the list. You have red shirt junior Ty Simpson,
- 30:27He's likely your starter. I'm not saying ty Simpson can't
- 30:30be good. What I'm saying is he's been at Alabama
- 30:32for three years now. He's had opportunities to take the
- 30:35starting job and he couldn't do it. You guys know
- 30:38how I feel about Jaylen Milroe, and Ty Simpson couldn't
- 30:40even beat out Jaylen Miler. Now you do have Keelan Russell,
- 30:44the five star coming in. You have Austin Mack the
- 30:47red shirt sophomore. He was a four star in twenty
- 30:49twenty three. So I mean there's talent, But I mean
- 30:53when you're telling me Ty Simpsons the leader of the clubhouse,
- 30:55that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in me until
- 30:57he proves it on the field. Number eight eight is
- 31:00the Auburn Tigers. I may actually put Auburn even a
- 31:03little bit higher on this Listen, Jackson Arnold's going to
- 31:05be the starter. I don't think there's any question about that.
- 31:08But Ashton Daniels will be the backup. He started at
- 31:11Stanford the last two years, so he comes in true
- 31:14freshman Deuce Night looks like he could be the future
- 31:16of the program. He was a five star in this
- 31:18last recruiting class. That is a quarterback room with the
- 31:21heck of a lot of talent. You have Penn State
- 31:23at seven, Miami at six, Clemson Tigers at five. You
- 31:27know Florida at four, Arizona State three number two. You
- 31:30have the SMU Mustangs because Kevin Jennings is back at
- 31:33quarterback after taking over at the early part of last
- 31:36season and really never looking back. He led that team
- 31:39to a College Football Playoff appearance. And then Tyler Van Dijk,
- 31:43very proven backup six years senior. He's going to be
- 31:45the backup to Kevin Jennings this year over there in
- 31:48ford Worth, and the number one quarterback room in the
- 31:52entire country according to PFF, is the LSU Tigers. Obviously,
- 31:58Garrett Nelsmier is, in my opinion, five quarterback in all
- 32:01college football. He's a legitimate Heisman candidate. He threw for
- 32:05the fifth most passing yards in the nation last year,
- 32:08but he's the leading returning passer in college football, meaning
- 32:11no quarterback coming back this year. Threw for more yards
- 32:14last season than did Garrett Nosmeier. Also behind him is
- 32:20Michael van Buren. And we saw Michael van Buren last
- 32:24year in Mississippi State. It was his true freshman season.
- 32:27He was thrown into the fire after Blake Shapin went down,
- 32:30and he did some nice things. Now, at times he
- 32:32looked like a freshman, but he showed the ability to
- 32:36go in there and make plays for you. Completed about
- 32:38fifty five percent of his passes. He had almost two
- 32:41thousand yards, eleven touchdown passes, seven interceptions. And that's being
- 32:45thrown in there as a true freshman due to injury.
- 32:48And let's be honest, he didn't have a lot of
- 32:50talent around him over there at Mississippi State. So you
- 32:52bring in a guy who's a veteran. I mean, this
- 32:55was a surprise when LSU got him out of the
- 32:57portal because when Blake Shapan announced he was returning the
- 33:00Mississippi State that appears to be Jeff Levi's guy. Michael
- 33:03van Buren's on the move and you're like, Okay, he's
- 33:05going to go somewhere where he believes he can be
- 33:08a starting quarterback. But he trusts Brian Kelly and Joe
- 33:11Sloane enough to come here, sit behind Garrett Nelsmeier for
- 33:15a year and maybe be primed and ready to take
- 33:18over in twenty twenty six as the starting quarterback at
- 33:21LL shoot van Buren though, Like you can break down
- 33:25his numbers all day long, that's fine. But he had
- 33:29eight starts in his true freshman season. But get this,
- 33:33his first two came on the road against big time
- 33:37defenses Texas and Georgia. He had a seventy nine passing
- 33:41grade according to PFF, no turnover worthy plays in either
- 33:46of those games. So he did a really nice job
- 33:50early on. And it wasn't like he was eased into it.
- 33:52I mean, you got to go on the road to
- 33:54Texas and Georgia in your first two starts. That's about
- 33:56as tough as it gets. You also have Collury. He
- 34:00was a four star in last year's recruiting cycle. Now,
- 34:02if you remember, Colin Hurley reclassified, so he essentially should
- 34:06have been a senior in high school last year. Can
- 34:09Hurley make that jump now? He wasn't here the entirety
- 34:13of spring. He got into that car accident that hopefully
- 34:16it appears like he's fully recovered from We'll we'll see
- 34:19what happens there as more comes out about that, But
- 34:22Colin Hurley is a guy that this coaching staff was
- 34:25very excited about. And then, don't forget you moved Juwan
- 34:28Johnson to a quarterback in the spring because of the
- 34:30absence of a Colin Hurley. Now, is Juwan Johnson going
- 34:33to go in there and throw passes down the field
- 34:35to win a game for him? Probably not. But look,
- 34:38when it was the decision was made to move Juwan
- 34:41Johnson a quarterback, we sat here in this spot and
- 34:45just talked about all the high school accolades for Juwan Johnson. Right,
- 34:48he was statistically one of the best high school quarterbacks
- 34:51in the state of Louisiana. Ever, as far as high
- 34:53school football goes, he's going to be your change of
- 34:56pace guy. If you need a quarterback to go in
- 34:58there and run, he can't cause Van Buren he doesn't
- 35:00really run either. Colin Hurley, again, we haven't seen much
- 35:03of him in action, and we know Garrett Nosmeyer isn't
- 35:05much of a runner. If you need a running quarterback,
- 35:08Jwan Johnson is your guy. So he's kind of the
- 35:10wild card in this room. But quarterback isn't the issue
- 35:15for this team, like even if PFF would have played
- 35:18LSU at one or ten, don't care what to change
- 35:21my opinion about this room whatsoever. You could poke a
- 35:25lot of holes in this team. You can look at
- 35:27the defense and you can say, oh, they're a little
- 35:28inexperience on the defensive line, even though I think they
- 35:31did a nice job in the portal. Offensive line is
- 35:34a question mark. You lose four of your five starters
- 35:36from a year ago and you're not even sure DJ
- 35:38Pikett's going to play the same position. But if you
- 35:44look Garrett Nulsemeyer coming back his second year in this
- 35:47program as the starting quarterback, you have Caden Durham next
- 35:51to him in the backfield. Cayden Durham, his impact on
- 35:54this team was underrated, if that makes sense. Last year,
- 35:58the first three games year, you couldn't do anything. I
- 36:01mean it really went until South Carolina on the road,
- 36:04where Caden Durham made himself known. And you can say, Okay, well,
- 36:07the O line's a big question mark. Yeah, but you
- 36:09could run the ball last year for the majority of
- 36:12the season. Cayden Durham's going to be better. If that
- 36:14offensive line can be a decent run blocking team, you
- 36:19might actually be better in the running it. It all
- 36:21depends on what that O line looks like. That's the
- 36:23big question mark for you on offense. Talked about this
- 36:27a little bit yesterday when I was reacting to Joel
- 36:29Klatt's list talking about, you know, Garrett Nelsemeyer cutting down
- 36:32on the turnos. He did that late in the season.
- 36:35We talked about it all season long. Last year's offense
- 36:38was limited because you had no true deep threat because
- 36:41Chris Hilton couldn't get healthy. Once Hilton got healthy in
- 36:45the last three games of the season, Garrett Nelsmeyer seventy
- 36:49two percent completion percentage, seven touchdowns, just one interception, and
- 36:53Chris Hilton was a big reason why. Look at all
- 36:57the potential deep ball threats here. Like the first deep
- 36:59ball Garrett Neilsmer truly hit last year was against UCLA.
- 37:03Was Kyle Parker down the sidelines for a touchdown. Still like,
- 37:06in my opinion, the best ball Garrett Elsemeyer threw all
- 37:08year long, and he threw some good ones. Kyle Parker
- 37:12will be back. He actually didn't return after that game.
- 37:14He was out the rest of the season due to
- 37:15an injury. He's back. Hilton's back. Xavion Thomas, Aaron Anderson,
- 37:20Barrying Brown. Johnnie Watkins is undersized, but can he make
- 37:24an impact? We know how fast he is. You have
- 37:26so many weapons to play with in this offense, and
- 37:28that's just the deep ball guys. I mean, you have
- 37:31a six to five receiver coming in and Nick Anderson,
- 37:33who I'm excited about. Your tight end room top to
- 37:38bottom might actually be better than a year ago. Like
- 37:40I know, Mason Taylor was great, but you bring in
- 37:42Bower Sharp, Tredez Green's a year older, and you have
- 37:45Donovan Green from Texas A and M. That's a really
- 37:47good room as well. The big question mark on this
- 37:49team is offensive line. If the offensive line can hold up.
- 37:54You have a second year starter, a fifty year senior
- 37:56in Garrett Nelsemeyer. The last two times you had fifty
- 38:00year senior two year starters at quarterback was Joe Burrow
- 38:03and Jaden Daniels. They won the Heisman Trophy and Burrow
- 38:05went and won the whole damn thing in the National Championship.
- 38:08It's a lot of expectations to put on Garrett Owsmyer,
- 38:11and I'm not saying he's going to do that. I'm
- 38:12just saying that's the blueprint. We've seen it before. We
- 38:14have seen him multiple times here in recent history. You
- 38:18have all the weapons you need on the outside, more
- 38:21so than you did a year ago. I think your
- 38:24tight end room might be the most underrated group in
- 38:26the entire team. I think your running backs are going
- 38:28to be better. Caden Durham's going to spearhead that Caleb
- 38:32Jackson's returning. You have two of the best running backs
- 38:34in the country coming in Harlan Berry and JT. Lindsay
- 38:38everything Garrett Nelsmyer needs to be successful. He has one
- 38:42thing you look at is the offensive line. If that
- 38:45can hold up, I think this offense could be as
- 38:47good as any in the country. You're in twenty twenty five,
- 38:50all right, We're going to take a time out. When
- 38:52we get back, I want to mention an interesting race
- 38:55that took place over the weekend leading up to the
- 38:58ND five hundred. I can't believe I missed it yesterday
- 39:01and weekend winners. We'll get into that next here on
- 39:03Off the Bench.

- 40:34so look to a strange.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Welcome back the Fiday segment. No, we're number one here
- 40:42On a Wednesday edition of OTB Taylor Shop here in
- 40:44the host chair for Jacob astro So. On Monday Memorial Day,
- 40:50the Indianapolis five hundred took place and Alex Pullou won
- 40:53his first ever Indy five hundred. Congratulations to him, but
- 40:56this is not about you, Alex. Something occurred on Friday
- 40:59that is a incredible It's one of the most American
- 41:01things you'll see. This is a misstep by me from
- 41:04missing it during weekend winns So on Friday at the
- 41:07Indianapolis Speedway where they do the Indy five hundred was
- 41:11the first ever Weeny five hundred. So these were hot
- 41:15dog shaped cars that reached top speeds of a whopping
- 41:19fifty miles an hour. And get this, it was six
- 41:22hot dogs. All US regions were represented, so the Chili
- 41:27Dog from the South, the Chai Dog from the Midwest,
- 41:30the New York Dog from the East obviously, the Slaw
- 41:33Dog from the southeast, and the Seattle Dog for the
- 41:36northeast and then the Southwest out of hot dog as well.
- 41:39So six different hot dogs and we had a little
- 41:42bit of a photo finished. Jordan, why don't you just
- 41:44go ahead and play this video.
- 41:46Speaker 9: It will be the one hundred and ninth running of
- 41:48the Indy five hundred, but the first Weenie five hundred,
- 41:52and if you know one thing about India. On the
- 41:54last lap, it's a dog eat dog world. As they
- 41:58round the track for the final.
- 42:00Speaker 10: Chi dog's still in the lead, but looks like maybe
- 42:04a great run off of turn two here, Oh, I
- 42:08think we might be having a race of the line.
- 42:11Speaker 11: Musted many closing with the sloanog. Could she took up
- 42:14the Weeni five hundred with a late pass on the
- 42:17chineag less than a quarter miles ago with the Indianapolis
- 42:22Motors Speedway for the inaugural Weeny five hundred.
- 42:26Speaker 10: These hot dogs are hot, running it down the front straights.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Email They're coming at us.
- 42:30Speaker 11: Now maxed out at a whopping sixty miles an hour.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Townsend.
- 42:39Speaker 9: They're closing second places, closing with the run.
- 42:44Speaker 10: Can the fans cheer them across the line, It's.
- 42:47Speaker 11: Gonna be closer making the move, Sloanok making the move
- 42:51up the inside on the run in to the yonder bricks.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Head over the line.
- 42:56Speaker 11: It looks like it's gonna be the slodok pile knows
- 43:01slow dog.
- 43:01Speaker 10: When and the closest finish and weedy five hundred.
- 43:05Speaker 3: History, the closest finish in the first ever Weeny five hundred,
- 43:09So it would have to be the closest in history. Guys,
- 43:10this is what America is all about. I'm ranking this
- 43:13right up there with the hot dog eating contest Joey
- 43:18ches N Yeah, joy, Like Joey Chestnut should have driven
- 43:20one of these dogs. Shout out to the slow dog.
- 43:22Don't know if I've ever had a slaw dog, but
- 43:24uh photo finish there in that race. So the Indy
- 43:28five hundred was huge this weekend. Like Tom Brady got
- 43:32to announce the Indy five hundred. He went there and
- 43:34uh because Fox Sports had exclusive rights to the Indy
- 43:37five hundred and Brady obviously with Fox Sports, and uh,
- 43:39look he got up there and took a shot. He said,
- 43:41you know, it's good to have one more good drive
- 43:43in front of Indianapolis fans, you know, taking a shot
- 43:45at the Colts Patriot drivery. They booed him over that
- 43:48you got the Weenie five hundred here, like this is excellent.
- 43:53I'll give Rivers Huey credit. She goes to the the
- 43:55Starkville Derby every year in Starkville, which is right before
- 43:59the Kentuck Derby. It's like a dog race. Really, I
- 44:02don't know, is that only Corkies, It's only Wiener dog
- 44:06It's only Okay, Okay, I need to see this. This sounds
- 44:09because because I was like, I'm signing up Frankie next year.
- 44:12He's super fast, but he's an Australian shepherd, so this
- 44:14is probably absolutely going to.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Go with her.
- 44:19Speaker 4: But then that was the same weekend as Pearl Jam
- 44:21and I ended up not even going to go see
- 44:23Pearl Jam.
- 44:25Speaker 3: So wait, what would you do? Is that the weekend
- 44:27you got sick?
- 44:28Speaker 1: No?
- 44:28Speaker 6: But I just didn't feel like going, okay because.
- 44:30Speaker 3: There was one weekend reasonably like really, say, I didn't know.
- 44:32Speaker 2: I didn't know if that was sick, like back to
- 44:34back that was insane.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Well, the salaw Dog. Yeah, this is the most incredible thing.
- 44:41I saw this yesterday at about noon, and I'm like,
- 44:44how many hell did we miss this? Like all of
- 44:46us missed it for weekend winters, Like I don't know,
- 44:48I didn't even know the Indy five hundred took place
- 44:50on Monday because AIG guess because like Memorial Day. Maybe
- 44:54congrats to Alex Poulou. This segment's not about you, dude,
- 44:57good job on your Indy five hundred win, but like
- 45:00the first ever Weenie five hundred, Like this has to
- 45:02be done more next year. I want to see like
- 45:04an Oscar Meyer versus a Nathan's versus a ballpark, Like
- 45:08we need different Weenie brand sponsorships.
- 45:10Speaker 5: I want. I want ns on the Wienie machines.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Yeah, fifty miles an hour a little slow, yeah, a
- 45:16little slow for me. Like if you get professional drivers,
- 45:19I don't see why you can't like the culture.
- 45:21Speaker 6: They go that high is my thing. Like they might
- 45:24not go.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Per hour.
- 45:27Speaker 3: I don't know how. I don't even know how many laps.
- 45:28Then we saw everything I know about the Wii five
- 45:33hundred you saw in that video.
- 45:34Speaker 5: Yes, I know that it's great.
- 45:35Speaker 3: I know that there was way more people in that
- 45:37arena than I thought there would be.
- 45:39Speaker 2: I do love that he said, the fastest finish in history.
- 45:41Speaker 3: It's the first one I love coming up and our
- 45:44number two. We got New Orleans Saints, we got a
- 45:47little NBA Playoffs and Bryce Coon of two four seven
- 45:49sports coming up here on Off the bench.
- 45:51Speaker 8: Off the Bench, kt oz Blinds dot com is the website.
- 45:55Speaker 3: It was safer.
