- 0:03Jasmine, oolong, green and white.
- 0:07Long ago, these four tees were skillfully brewed at the Blissful Brew.
- 0:11Then, everything changed when the shop's popularity threatened its existence.
- 0:17All Mr.
- 0:17Okran, the shop's owner and teammaster, could do, was to recruit four teenage orphans to learn his trade and staff his shop.
- 0:26A year has passed since the orphans were hired, and although their skills have progressed, they still have a lot to learn before they can brew anything.
- 0:34But I believe that they have the potential to make the Blissful Brew the greatest tea shop in the world.
- 0:41Last time on Benders and Brews an Avatar legends podcast.
- 3:16And welcome back to the Avatar Legends.
- 3:19Real play, Podcast.
- 3:21That is benders and bruise.
- 3:23I thought I'd switch it up a little bit there with kind of saying the title after Benders and Bruce.
- 3:31Yes, Benders and Bruce.
- 3:32Thank you, Mikayla.
- 3:34Ouch.
- 3:35Harsh criticism.
- 3:36I thought you said benders and booze.
- 3:38Oh, booze.
- 3:39Sorry.
- 3:39No, that'll be our Halloween episode.
- 3:42Welcome back, everybody, to episode nine.
- 3:45So today's question.
- 3:47I've got everybody here today, which is pretty awesome.
- 3:50Two episodes ago, we didn't have our man Broccoli Connor playing Broccoli.
- 3:57And then last week we didn't have Michaela playing Mika.
- 4:01We had boys night.
- 4:02Boys night.
- 4:03I don't know what the one previous to that would have been called.
- 4:06We didn't for it.
- 4:09It doesn't feel right when you say it, but I wanted to say it's night or something.
- 4:15I gave you guys the boys night.
- 4:17I suppose that is technically true.
- 4:20The technical fair point.
- 4:22Without you, we were able to have boys nights anyway.
- 4:28So, question of the day.
- 4:49or tea or maybe some specific soothing tune they like to listen to? Maybe they got like, a little music box or something.
- 4:56Freaks everybody else out, but you enjoy it.
- 5:00What do you got, Mikaela? What helps Mika get a good night's sleep? Well, she doesn't like to sleep, so she just does stuff until she passes out.
- 5:18Like read a book, take a walk, star into the abyss.
- 5:29She does sing, though.
- 5:31We did experience that diary.
- 5:34She reads her own diary? Yeah.
- 5:37That sounds almost narcissistic like, I wrote it and I'm going to read it.
- 5:40I mean, I don't know, unless it's like, proofreading I was sad.
- 5:47Here's the limerick about my button that I lost.
- 5:50Well, we all kind of mentally unpack that one.
- 5:53Or Bill, what do you use? Cameron playing Bill.
- 5:57Rather.
- 5:57What do you use to get a good night's sleep? Answering for Bill, not Cameron.
- 6:02But you can answer for Cameron afterwards if you want to.
- 6:05Nothing I do, honestly.
- 6:10Picture Bill, he just like, lays there and then eventually he's asleep.
- 6:14No, he's one of those annoying people that as soon as he said hits the pillow, he just like sleeps.
- 6:18That is correct.
- 6:21How is that not annoying? You know, we're not going to unpack.
- 6:26It's annoying because we're all jealous about it.
- 6:28Takes him less than a minute to fall asleep.
- 6:30Goodness.
- 6:30Once he lays his head on a pillow, like full 10 seconds, he starts counting his depends on the day he won.
- 6:35I was just going to ask actually, in that 1 minute between his head touching the pillow and him falling asleep, what does he do? What does he do? Yeah, what's he doing? Does he count sheet? Does he mind blank? Oh, okay.
- 6:51He just zones fully out.
- 6:53Yeah, he doesn't dream either.
- 6:54It's pretty impressive.
- 6:56Do you do that thing where he likes no, I'm joking.
- 7:01He actually does have something.
- 7:03He does, but he sleeps in.
- 7:09The pitch black is dark, but he sleeps with his staff in his arms.
- 7:15It's like his pet.
- 7:17It's like his full body weeboo pillow.
- 7:21Sometimes he smooches it in his face.
- 7:24Right.
- 7:28Is staff have a name? No, he does not have a name for his staff.
- 7:35He has a staff and I said it's end infection.
- 7:38Anyway, it's interesting.
- 7:39Okay, so he cuddles with his bostaff.
- 7:41I wouldn't really say cuddles.
- 7:44He just feels more secure.
- 7:47It's like a secure thing.
- 7:48And also it makes him feel safe.
- 7:50Right? Is that what secure means? Yeah, safe.
- 7:55Secure.
- 7:55Yeah, basically.
- 7:56I don't know, he always wants to feel like he's prepared.
- 7:59I guess if anything happens, it's like why you don't sleep nude.
- 8:04Fire starts, you have to run out.
- 8:06Completely new and can't relate to that the whole ordeal.
- 8:09So, you know, in case of a robber breaks in.
- 8:11Well, he's got his staff right there.
- 8:14Firemen are like, oh, that guy's naked.
- 8:17We're not going to help him.
- 8:19No one place pranks on Bill while he's sleeping because they're afraid he'll just whack him with his staff while he's sleeping.
- 8:25Classic.
- 8:25Classic.
- 8:27Awesome.
- 8:28Brock learned that the hard way.
- 8:29Yeah, through a rock.
- 8:32In return it's fine.
- 8:34I would jump over to Brock for his answer, but I just have a weird thing about the order in the table.
- 8:40Nobody knows the order.
- 8:41Yeah, but you would know the order of the table if you follow our discord and saw the picture that Cameron just posted.
- 8:49I'm not in it.
- 8:51You can just assume.
- 8:53All right, so Dave playing Guo Han.
- 8:56What does Guo do to get a good night's sleep? So Glow goes to the upstairs of the shop.
- 9:08It hangs a hammock in the top rafters above an open window.
- 9:12And he gets in there and he sleeps so he can hear the sound of the passing traffic.
- 9:19Otherwise it's a little too quiet for him.
- 9:21He's used to the hustle and bustle of the carnival and the weird animal noises.
- 9:27So better than nothing.
- 9:29Yeah, it's not quite the same.
- 9:30No, I can totally relate to that.
- 9:33Moving over to the final player, I've got Connor playing Brock.
- 9:38What does Brock got to do to get a good night's sleep in this dang town? So growing up in the farm, in the farmlands yes.
- 9:46You got a lot of big critters that could come and try and eat you.
- 9:51Goodness.
- 9:52I know, it's terrible.
- 9:53So the way Brock learned how to sleep from a young age is what I might affectionately call the Minecraft first Night in Hardcore.
- 10:03Okay.
- 10:05The earth bends a chunk of earth out of the ground, steps into it, makes himself a little bed and then shuts the top.
- 10:15As for protection, obviously, from the largest.
- 10:18Do you leave like, a little air home? No.
- 10:20He suffer tape every night.
- 10:22No, you don't need it in mind.
- 10:23That's why he sleeps so good.
- 10:29Brock enables cheats so that he doesn't have to breathe.
- 10:34So that's only if he's out in the wilderness.
- 10:36If he's at home, he'll just make a stone bed, stone pillow and a stone blanket.
- 10:46It's like a weighted blanket.
- 10:48Yeah, it's exactly like a weight.
- 10:49You make your bed every night? Yeah.
- 11:06Earth bend the blanket above him and he'll slam it down onto his torso.
- 11:12So the blanket is now flush with the top of the stone bed.
- 11:17Okay.
- 11:18So his body is inside the rock.
- 11:20You're like, mummifying yourself.
- 11:23He's like Han Solo and carbonate every night.
- 11:27Is it like one of those kids toys? Not an etched sketch where you put your hand in it and then little needles stick out? Yeah.
- 11:35The other side like a hot tub and carbonite situation.
- 11:39Exactly like that.
- 11:41We all put our face into it even though we know like 100 kids have probably had their hands all over that.
- 11:47Because you're just like, what would it look like in that way? No one short sheets his bed.
- 11:52That's right.
- 11:53Yeah, that's right.
- 11:55Oh, man.
- 11:55When he goes to the mattress store and they're like, do you prefer them soft or fur? It's called a Pen art board.
- 12:03I want a rock.
- 12:05I want a rock.
- 12:08That's awesome.
- 12:09All right, perfect.
- 12:11Well, with our questions about sleep out of the way, let's get back to where all the characters are actively not sleeping in.
- 12:25and Bill are both hanging out over at the Blissful Brew booth.
- 12:32We've got Connor actually, I'll come back to that.
- 12:35We've got Mika, who is masked and wandering about the mansion, as far as we know, not sleeping.
- 12:43That's correct.
- 12:44In her mask, trying to participate in this strange game that she suddenly has kind of found herself participating in all of a sudden at this Rich party.
- 12:55Ironically, also wearing a mask and fancy attire, is Brock, who has just managed to drop Madame Yang, who was in another room through the wall, sort of dropped her into a hole.
- 13:11He's trying to put her to sleep.
- 13:17It's a real sleep based episode for how awake everyone is.
- 13:21So I'm going to kick things off with Brock just because I'm sure we're all concerned.
- 13:25What are you going to do now that you've got Madame Yang in a hole? All right, so I got Madame Yang in a hole.
- 13:30I got Madame Yang in a hole.
- 13:32I'm going to go into that room.
- 13:34I'm going to go into that room that Madam Gang was just in.
- 13:37Okay.
- 13:37There are two individuals in there with her.
- 13:41Don't forget that.
- 13:42Technically three.
- 13:43There's the Hypnotized employee, and then there's the two that she had that were, like, guarding the door when she wasn't there.
- 13:51Right.
- 13:51So in that case, I still have the lines on the floor, so I'm going to Earth Bend, just do, like, one little sidekick thing sidekick.
- 14:03And conjure a lid on top of the hole that I just put out of it from the other side still in my little other room.
- 14:13Like your pet.
- 14:13Okay.
- 14:14So they are about to reach out for two side bodyguards, whatever.
- 14:20About to like, they're surprised, obviously.
- 14:22Everybody's taken aback when the whole initially opens up and just swallows Madame Yang into it.
- 14:28They're taking aback.
- 14:29So before they can respond and grab her hand and try to pull her out, you kick the floor, shooting this rock slab outwards, covering the hole, putting a lid on it, much like you've done a couple of times now to keep Dilbert inside of his little makeshift aquarium you guys have created.
- 14:48Yes, they are very surprised.
- 14:50They are looking about.
- 14:51Madame Yang is furiously shouting from inside of this hole, let me out.
- 14:57Let me out this instant.
- 15:00Unbelievable.
- 15:02And they are just unsure what to do.
- 15:04Okay, so how many people did Madame Yang pull aside before? I think you said there were, like, what, two dozen? Yeah.
- 15:16So how did that we'll say two dozen? Did she pull aside before this interaction here? Do you want me to include the one that's in there right now or not include that one? Not included.
- 15:27Okay.
- 15:27So it'd be like three.
- 15:28Like three.
- 15:29Okay.
- 15:29Yeah.
- 15:29She didn't get very far, and then, of course, there's one in the room right now who is equally confused, pretty startled, kind of just backing up and just standing against one of the walls.
- 15:41Just kind of, like, very just like I said, confused, scared.
- 15:46The person he works for and who is very controlling of him or her, just got swallowed up by a random hole in the floor and then reseals over the mouth has closed, so to speak.
- 15:59So let's go with he is very confused.
- 16:03All right, so I'm going to walk out of my room.
- 16:07Walk out of the room I'm in.
- 16:08Okay.
- 16:12Yeah.
- 16:12I'm going to conjure up Earth Bend, I should say, not conjure a stone wall on the inside of the room next to me as I walk out, and I go and confront the old man again.
- 16:24Okay.
- 16:25So that way they can't get out.
- 16:27Okay.
- 16:28Sounds good.
- 16:29Basically.
- 16:29Yeah.
- 16:29So keeping them from being able to get to the door in the first place.
- 16:33Okay, yeah, you do that.
- 16:35So you basically pull up a wall on the inside of this room, causing them to be unable to get to the door.
- 16:42Got it.
- 16:43All right, sounds good.
- 16:44You've essentially trapped them all into this space for the time being.
- 16:49All part of the plan.
- 16:51I'm going to go talk to that guy that said he was with Madame Yang in the last episode.
- 16:57Okay, sounds good.
- 16:59All right, so you head out, and sure enough, he's still standing there, kind of eyeballing the booth from a distance.
- 17:07The Blissful Brew booth from a distance.
- 17:09Now, you had talked to him before, didn't you? Yeah, I talked to him.
- 17:12Okay, cool.
- 17:13And he says, oh, yes.
- 17:15Hello.
- 17:15It's you again.
- 17:16Yeah, I actually just met Madame Yang, the woman who said that you're here with yes, I just talked to her.
- 17:26She's a wonderful woman.
- 17:28We just had a lovely conversation.
- 17:30She sent me out to come get you.
- 17:32She said she needed you for something.
- 17:35Okay, where is she at right now? She's towards the back.
- 17:41I can take you there if you want.
- 17:42Yes, of course.
- 17:44It would be great.
- 17:45Absolutely.
- 17:45This house is amazing as it is.
- 17:47It's so large and filled with so many rooms.
- 17:53I would lose myself if I lived here.
- 17:56The amount of cleaning a person has to do.
- 17:59Yes.
- 17:59And he follows you.
- 18:01I mean, he's just kind of rambling on as you guys walk.
- 18:03Okay, so as we're walking up to it in conversation, I bring down the wall from the inside as we're walking up.
- 18:15I hide it with a sneeze with a little okay, I do that.
- 18:22The old combo.
- 18:25So I opened the door, or I let him go first.
- 18:29Oh, okay.
- 18:29I let him go first in there.
- 18:31And can I just try and close the door behind him and then build a wall on the outside? Okay, let me play this out.
- 18:39So you say, oh, she's in there.
- 18:41Basically, you've lowered the wall and everything.
- 18:44He opens the door, and immediately a fist flies out and just punches him right square in the face, and then they grab him.
- 18:55So one bodyguard is, like, on one side inside the door.
- 18:58Obviously, they saw when the wall came down, and they quickly prepared themselves by the door to attack whoever came in.
- 19:04The other ones on the other side of the door grabs him, who is now kind of stumbling a little bit because he just got punched in the face, pulls him into the room, slams them up against the wall, in which case you reseal.
- 19:16Okay.
- 19:17So they grabbed him and throw him against the wall.
- 19:19Can I go back into my room and listen in? Yeah, absolutely.
- 19:24All right.
- 19:24Do I need to roll for that? Because I think I had to roll last time.
- 19:26Yeah, give me just another I mean, I'd say between the two activities of getting the timing just right with the wall and then going and listening.
- 19:34Let's rely on your skills and training.
- 19:37Is that for bringing the wall down on time or for listening? Let's just go with more listening.
- 19:45Okay.
- 19:45It does feel a little weird because what if you failed or something? Rely on skills and training.
- 19:50That's focused.
- 19:58All you're hearing is like Charlie Brown adult voices.
- 20:05All right.
- 20:06I guess if anything, the one thing that you do notice is that they don't sound, I don't want to say like violent, but kind of like aggressive.
- 20:14They sound like things have cooled down.
- 20:17Possibly once they realized who it was to the extent of, they're not obviously wailing on them and probably apologizing.
- 20:24Okay, so at this point, I'll just go back into the party and I'll try and mingle amongst the people while thinking of a next move.
- 20:34Okay, sounds good.
- 20:35With that, I'm going to cut back over to the duo at the Blissful Brew.
- 20:44You guys are fiercely serving customers as they come by, filling up tea cups, filling up sort of those side ingredients, whether it be the honey jar or the fruit things along those lines that you can kind of decorate or put into your teas, whatever the case, the sugar.
- 21:04You guys are trying to keep everything stocked and everything.
- 21:06And then Mr.
- 21:07Okran, he approaches you guys.
- 21:08He is, like, sweating.
- 21:11He's actually sort of taking the top half of his robe off at this point.
- 21:17He's been both working super hard with a lot of physical activity while he's been making this tea.
- 21:23And then to top it off, the tea is like the big pot is over a fire.
- 21:28So it's very hot.
- 21:29Where he's working from, mr.
- 21:31Omar? That's right.
- 21:32So he stands there in front of you in quite a state.
- 21:36He says no.
- 21:42Bill, we have a bit of a problem.
- 21:45We're running out of ingredients.
- 21:47It seems that whatever is going on with the hot leaf juice inside, all the customers have come out here for tea on such a beautiful night as this.
- 21:55I can't imagine why not.
- 21:57And so we serve too many customers and we don't have much left.
- 22:04I'm not really sure what to do.
- 22:07Do you guys have any ideas? Yeah, we're down to our last crack of honey.
- 22:14What a bother.
- 22:23I love how you conveniently waited.
- 22:25What a bother.
- 22:26What a bother.
- 22:27Wait for laughter.
- 22:41She stopped somebody from going to the market, so there must be some place nearby where we could get some more ingredients.
- 22:48You might be right, but the thing I worry about is whether or not they're even still open.
- 22:55It is growing quite late.
- 22:59It looks like it's about maybe 08:00 or so, maybe nine.
- 23:04Do you know where Brock is? I haven't seen him in quite a while.
- 23:10Miki either.
- 23:18Occasionally.
- 23:19It's been two episodes.
- 23:21Brock's busy stealing our teacups, apparently.
- 23:26And Mika is gone.
- 23:30Mika died.
- 23:32And Mr.
- 23:33Ogre falls on his knees and he starts you can't tell if it's sweat or tears, but you assume by his coughs of emotion that it must be tears.
- 23:42At this point, I don't understand what could have possibly happened to her.
- 23:49No, I think Mika just got caught up in the party spirit and it's like a night such as this, I'm not going to work.
- 23:59Oh, that is a relief.
- 24:03This is what you think of me? You had me so worried.
- 24:07Do you just assume that we just disappear for a couple of hours? We're dead, Mr.
- 24:11Ocaron.
- 24:12Well, not unless someone looks me in the eye and says that they're gone.
- 24:15Gone for good.
- 24:17Bill, we need to work on your good.
- 24:21You said she's gone.
- 24:23Like really gone.
- 24:25Well, I'm sorry, Random.
- 24:27I suppose.
- 24:27Sorry, random patron.
- 24:29This is no, we'll get you your teeth in time, obviously.
- 24:35He doesn't even have a mask on because he lost the game already.
- 24:38He just leaned over like well, he did say he's gone.
- 24:43Sure, yes.
- 24:44Also, could I get some more honey? We're down to our last smack roll, apparently.
- 24:52No baller, no bowler.
- 24:55Is that what he says? It's very a lot of input from the bottom.
- 25:00And he walks away drinking his raw.
- 25:03As the person who actually knows nothing about tea, I have zero solutions for the situation.
- 25:11That's okay, Bill.
- 25:12I appreciate the honesty.
- 25:15Yeah.
- 25:15So I can just leave.
- 25:17Hold on now.
- 25:18Can you go find Brock? Find Brock? Sure.
- 25:23I guess I can find Brock.
- 25:24I mean, I kind of know what he looks like.
- 25:25He's currently in disguise, so that's a little weird.
- 25:28That's true, that's true.
- 25:29We worked together for five years.
- 25:31Yeah, because he showed up and took our tea in disguise.
- 25:35And then I assumed someone was just stealing our tea, and then Brock was like, no, it's me, and started winking at me under a mask, which I was so confused because a lot of people have been winking at me under masks tonight.
- 25:47Are you telling me that Brock was able to wink at you? I'm so proud of the boy.
- 25:53He's been practicing his wink.
- 25:54He always blinks instead of winks.
- 25:57And I've tried everything to try.
- 26:00I've held his eyelid open for him, anything it takes, because he was really intent on learning the wings.
- 26:06And I can't believe tonight was the night.
- 26:08Mr.
- 26:09O'Connor, have you ever been told that you just do too much for us? I know nothing is too much for you guys.
- 26:16I love all of you so much.
- 26:18Brought so much joy to my life.
- 26:21I wish I could have seen it.
- 26:23Seeing Brock wink for the first time would have been like watching a child learn from can I leave now? You're going to come back, right? No, I'll be gone.
- 26:35And with that, Bill just starts walking away with his staff.
- 26:41Such a jerk.
- 26:42And he turns around, he says, watch the shop, Guao.
- 26:46Okay, I'll do what I can.
- 26:49All right, so, Bill, you walk off into the party.
- 26:53Brock, you said you were just going to go mingle.
- 26:56Yeah, just sort of blend in, keep a low profile.
- 26:59I guess I could probably go back and check out the Blissful brew.
- 27:03Sure.
- 27:04Well, then on your way, you actually run into Bill, who obviously isn't wearing a mask, and he more or less notices yours.
- 27:12And Bill is a pretty attentive guy, so he remembers which mask and stuff you were wearing and catches you.
- 27:18Bill walks up behind Rock and he's like, oh, there's the tea culprit I've been looking for.
- 27:24And it scares Brock.
- 27:26Okay.
- 27:27You steal two glasses, two what do they call it? Two teacups.
- 27:33And suddenly you're labeled as a criminal.
- 27:37What are you doing out here? Why aren't you in the pop up shop? Well, you see, there's been a how busy is it around us in your immediate space? Yeah.
- 27:48I'd say you're probably still inside the mansion, so pretty busy.
- 27:52Bill's going to kind of usher Brock to the side.
- 27:57Okay.
- 27:59Under his breath he's going to say, well, you and Mika have done a great job because apparently every single customer from Hot Leaf has just been coming to our stand and now we're out of supplies.
- 28:12What kind of supplies do you need? Like everything.
- 28:15I have absolutely no idea because I don't know.
- 28:19Tea.
- 28:20Mr.
- 28:21Oakron just said we're out of ingredients.
- 28:23Well, it just so happens I know where some ingredients are.
- 28:27Like the ones you start ditched for us? Yeah.
- 28:31They may or may not have been launched into the topiary maze in the backyard.
- 28:38You threw them into the maze? I didn't throw them.
- 28:43You launched them.
- 28:44Yeah.
- 28:45That is cooler, I will admit that.
- 28:47And if I can get a bit MEA here, if I recall correctly, my role made it to where they're all condensed in one location.
- 28:55So we find one card, we can find them all, and then we would not be in the weeds if that's where ingredients are.
- 29:04Let's just go right there and start looking, I guess.
- 29:06All right.
- 29:07How good are you with I'm a natural and I'll let you don't weaken me, that's my thing.
- 29:15Apparently you just mastered it.
- 29:18Yeah.
- 29:19Mr.
- 29:19O'Connor.
- 29:20How? He held my eyes open.
- 29:22What a guy, right? What a guy.
- 29:25That's one way of describing bill starts leaving to go to the maze.
- 29:31All right.
- 29:32I guess I'm by myself.
- 29:36Hey, everyone, skyler the game master, here to share with you another review we received on itunes from one of our amazing listeners who took a little time out of their day to share their appreciation for the show.
- 29:47Great.
- 29:47Like a warm cup of tea.
- 29:49The story is best described as a slice of life with dash of crime.
- 29:53The characters and their lighthearted antics, which include kidnapping a cephalopod, balances the show's serious foundation of giant corporations obliterating small rivals in a quest to create a bland culture that can be easily commodified and sold.
- 30:09Overall, this show has been a delightful surprise.
- 30:12The premise a local tea shop struggled to take back a contract from a national tea chain creates a fun, intimate, and focused story, a big contrast from the epic adventures of the Avatar franchise on which it's based.
- 30:25A sprinkling of sound effects and voice acting, as well as excellent editing, makes for polished product anyone, not just the fans of the show, can enjoy.
- 30:36We the cast of Benders and Brews podcasts.
- 30:38Just want to say an absolutely massive thank you to Willow for writing such a thoughtful review.
- 30:44It's audience response like this that really makes the show and all the hard work that we put into it totally worth it.
- 30:51If you listen to itunes or you have an Apple account, it would really mean a lot to us if you would also take the time to drop the review there and let us know how we're doing.
- 31:00It helps the podcast and assists in promoting the show through the Apple podcast platform so that others can find and enjoy the podcast as well.
- 31:08And it sure would mean a lot to all of us who spend hours recording and editing the show.
- 31:13Once again, a huge thank you to Willow for this review.
- 31:16Now let's get back to the show.
- 31:21Brock, you can follow me if you want.
- 31:24Can I launch you in maze? Do we no, I don't want to go.
- 31:29Okay.
- 31:31Walk through a maze.
- 31:33All right, so Bill, you head to the back.
- 31:37Mika, what are you doing? Yes, I was supposed to find an outfit so I'd be more into disguise.
- 31:42Right.
- 31:43And then I was going to go into the maze just for kicks and giggles.
- 31:47Okay.
- 31:47Because you've found an outfit at this point.
- 31:49Oh, well, then I'm in the maze or headed to the maze.
- 31:52Okay, you're headed to the maze.
- 31:54Whatever time goes.
- 31:55So you are headed to the maze.
- 31:57You have gone too, right? That's right.
- 32:01What kind of mask do you have on? I don't know what you look like.
- 32:05Foxmax kitsune.
- 32:09So she's headed to the maze and you see Bill as he is also approaching the opening of the maze.
- 32:18And obviously he doesn't recognize you.
- 32:20You just look like a partygoer with a mask on and everything.
- 32:26But you recognize him because he does not have that kind of stuff on.
- 32:31Just putting that info out there.
- 32:32I mean, if you want to do something with it or not, whatever you want to do.
- 32:37They just kind of walked past.
- 32:38The stranger goes, excuse me? Like Shimmy's pastor.
- 32:44Left or right? I'm going to follow him like a shadow.
- 32:48Always go right.
- 32:49That's what my papa taught me.
- 32:52Standing outside of the maze is a servant.
- 32:55And they go, are you going to go into the maze today? Yeah, I'm going right okay, well, just so you know, there a map.
- 33:04No, there's no map of the maze.
- 33:06That would really be more of a natural.
- 33:09But just to forewarn you, there are rumors that a spirit lives inside of this maze.
- 33:17We love that.
- 33:18What kind of spirit do you say that? Yeah.
- 33:20Okay, is it the spirit or not? I don't believe so.
- 33:26Okay.
- 33:27They say it is the spirit of lost things.
- 33:32And they say if you find it, it will help you find something that you've lost, but only if you can solve its riddle.
- 33:43Really? Okay.
- 33:45I guess I'll solve it.
- 33:46I am a little high strung right now.
- 33:49A lot of stress in the party and stuff, and no promises.
- 33:54Anyways, I'm walking in now.
- 33:56Okay, well, have a nice time in the mates.
- 33:59Nice time.
- 34:00Sounds like you could have used GuoHan in the spirit of secrets.
- 34:06Isn't Quohan the smart one of the party? Like, you can go get them? No, Bill, he's determined see, that's the problem with Bill.
- 34:15He's determined to find this crate because that was the mission he was sent out on.
- 34:19And he would feel like he would look like a bit of a duplicate if he came back empty handed because of a little spirit.
- 34:28Can I make this really difficult for you? Because if he's only going to go right, I want to go left.
- 34:33That's what's going to make things really difficult.
- 34:36All right, so Bill goes right.
- 34:40Are you actually going to go left? I thought you were following me.
- 34:43I was, but then they say left, and you say, no, I'm going right, and then I go left.
- 34:48I'm not listening to instructions from a stranger.
- 34:51Bill was taught very well by his parents about avoiding strangers.
- 34:55I'm not talking about you as a servant.
- 34:57Rich people can still be strangers, Mikayla, but they don't look like a servant.
- 35:03The other person was a servant because he said, I'm not taking directions from a stranger, much less a servant.
- 35:14All right, so Bill, you go to the right and you're walking along and stuff like that, and eventually you come across like another couple that's I say another couple.
- 35:26You come across a couple that is walking through the maze romantically, holding hands, giving each other Google eyes.
- 35:34They see you, they're like and they kind of act like they weren't canoodling or anything until you pass them.
- 35:45And then you walk a little further and you start to realize that there's a lot of couples in this may because you pass like, maybe one or two more couples giggling amongst themselves, things like that.
- 35:59It's kind of awkward eye.
- 36:01You a little bit weird because you're by yourself.
- 36:03You kind of get the feeling that the whole idea of going into a maze at night is really a couple's thing.
- 36:09I mean, obviously you have a mission, but I digress.
- 36:12At one point, you actually hear someone shout, hey, honey, I found a.
- 36:17Banana mango over here.
- 36:19What's that doing in this maze? What direction is that coming from? It's coming from, like it'd be straight ahead of you, minus the fact that there's hedge walls straight in front of you.
- 36:32Can Bill stick his hand through the hedge wall? Yeah.
- 36:36Does it go out the other side? You'd have to take maybe two to three steps to get all the way through.
- 36:43I can build just, like, back up and just jump through it.
- 36:47Since you're doing it this specific way, I'm going to say push your luck.
- 36:53Nine.
- 36:54Okay.
- 36:55So you successfully just kind of start plowing through these walls in this maze.
- 37:02The downside is that you get, like, real scraped up pretty bad.
- 37:06You take a fatigue.
- 37:07Am I on the other side now? The people who said something on the other side? Yeah.
- 37:12You see a man in a very fine robe.
- 37:16He's wearing a mask, and he's standing there holding a banana mango, and he's shouting for somebody, and then he's ho.
- 37:26He sees you just, like, burst through the maze.
- 37:29He touches his banana mango.
- 37:31I tripped.
- 37:32Are you okay? No, I tripped.
- 37:35Oh, dear.
- 37:35Mail.
- 37:36Yes.
- 37:36Let me help you up.
- 37:38Take my hand.
- 37:39Sure.
- 37:40Bill takes his hand, stands up.
- 37:44Bill just kind of walks around and then just starts looking for a crate or something, I dare say.
- 37:50What was it that you are looking for? Those mango.
- 37:54The mango thing you got there.
- 37:57Well, I can give it to you after I showed my fellow news.
- 38:00I don't care if you keep it.
- 38:02That came from something else, but it came from the ground, so I don't really want to keep it.
- 38:08I don't want it either.
- 38:10I'm just looking for tennis.
- 38:12I'll toss it once I've oh, yes.
- 38:16Well, I found a trail of fruit leading just over behind the corner here.
- 38:21The Bill is going to look around the corner.
- 38:22Does he see a trail? Yes.
- 38:24Is it like, laid one after another? No.
- 38:28Okay.
- 38:33Bill is going to start.
- 38:34He's going to say, oh, thank you.
- 38:36That's exactly what I've been looking for.
- 38:39I was lost in this maze.
- 38:41Can't even find my fiance.
- 38:43But I should help you find something.
- 38:47I love your laugh.
- 38:49Oh, thank you.
- 38:50Okay, I'm leaving now.
- 38:51Bye, sir.
- 38:51Bye.
- 38:52Have a nice lord, you got roasted for being single.
- 38:57Yeah.
- 38:57He never actually had a fiance.
- 38:59He's just been shouting for, like, somebody that doesn't even exist.
- 39:04Maybe he'll find someone else who is also lying about a fiance, and it would be perfect for each other.
- 39:11He'll have a lovely night with his banana mango.
- 39:14Oh, no.
- 39:15Anyways, we are Smoothies Hillies.
- 39:19Many smoothie adventures.
- 39:22Follow the trail.
- 39:23All right, so you follow this.
- 39:25Well, it's a very short trail because you quickly find the crate.
- 39:29Oh, look at that stuff.
- 39:30It's like one of the corners is busted, and that's where stuff kind of spilled out as it hit the ground.
- 39:36The fruit itself, for the most part is integrity, especially the stuff that's still inside the crate.
- 39:40It's just like one of the corners kind of just like got obliterated and some of the fruit kind of spilled out on the trail a little distance just from the impact.
- 39:50They're going to kind of pick up close fruit and they just kind of rub it on his vest and he's just going to place into the crate and then he's going to pick up the crate and then start heading back the way he can.
- 40:00All right, pick up the crate.
- 40:03You're transported to a graveyard.
- 40:08It was a port key.
- 40:13What game are we playing? We have left Avatar legends, and we have entered Avatar Dungeons and Dragons.
- 40:22Okay, so you're basically you start picking up all this fruit and stuff like that.
- 40:26Now when you say you go back the way you came, does that include plowing through several hedges? No, I would just go back down the way I came and then I would just hop through the hole I made right.
- 40:37And then just go back that way.
- 40:38Okay, all right, sounds good.
- 40:40Yeah.
- 40:41I mean, after a while it takes you maybe a little bit longer, like you have to double back a couple of times, but all things considered, you're eventually able to figure out where it was that you were supposed to be my natural amazes.
- 40:51Sure, but whatever the case.
- 40:53Yeah.
- 40:53Okay, so you make it outside of the maze.
- 40:57I go back to the Blissful Brew stand.
- 41:00On your way back, you notice hot leaf juice employee that's walking by and just out of the corner of their eye you see them notice you and see your crate full of ingredients labeled with their logo on it.
- 41:21Oh, is it? I guess I wouldn't know that.
- 41:24I didn't look that's okay.
- 41:27And turns and starts walking somewhat aggressively towards you.
- 41:33Does Bill see this? Yes.
- 41:36He's just going to keep walking the same way.
- 41:38He's going okay.
- 41:39Eventually this employee, this HLJ sounds so weird to say.
- 41:45It like that employee approach or manages to catch up to you and they're like, hey, what do you think you're doing with that box? I'm taking it to my stand roll.
- 41:56A trick.
- 41:57I know you might not intentionally mean it as a trick, but the way you phrased it, technically, I mean, you could be like five.
- 42:03Oh, okay.
- 42:04He sees that you have the Blissful Brew uniform on and he says, what are you doing with our fruit? This must be the fruit that's been missing all day.
- 42:17Bill is going to quickly, obviously glance at the side of it where we now see for the first time it's got a clear logo on it because I found it in the maze and I figured something lost in the maze clearly isn't being used.
- 42:40My tea company, I was just in the maze and I was like, hey, my company could use this.
- 42:45I feel like you guys must have taken it and stashed it in the maze until later.
- 42:51If we wanted it, why didn't we just take it? Because then people would have seen the big old logo on the box when you guys first started.
- 42:59It would have been like, what's up with that? I didn't actually see this logo, so clearly that would have been a problem earlier.
- 43:07Yes.
- 43:07Well, now that you've seen it, you know that it doesn't belong to you, and I give it back.
- 43:12Yeah.
- 43:15He seems like he's getting kind of upset, and he starts to grab the box, like he's going to try to rip it out of your hands.
- 43:23Hey, buddy, no one likes your guys'tea.
- 43:27Well, because we don't have all our ingredients.
- 43:30That's not what I've been hearing.
- 43:31I've been hearing it just tastes bad.
- 43:33And honestly, because we don't have all our ingredients, they all come into our stand.
- 43:37I've already had a couple of your friends trying to steal our tea, and I had to beat them off with a stick, this stick.
- 43:43And he kind of like motions of the stick behind him.
- 43:45So, like, I want to do it to you, but I will do it to you.
- 43:49Just let go of the tea, and I'm going to leave you alone.
- 43:53All right.
- 43:54Roll.
- 43:54And intimidate nine.
- 43:57I'm going to do it to him.
- 43:59If he does anymore and he has to pick one of these options.
- 44:03But he gets to pick yeah, he's going to attack you, but he's off balance.
- 44:10So I'm going to mark a condition for this hot leaf juice employee.
- 44:15Exchange.
- 44:16Exchange.
- 44:17Okay.
- 44:17So he is marked angry.
- 44:19I know an action I want to do.
- 44:23Okay.
- 44:23But I don't know what it would fit under.
- 44:25Okay.
- 44:31When he advanced to me to toss the crate at him so that he would catch it, and then when he was going to catch it and he would be off balance by the weight, he's quickly catching.
- 44:42Bill would take out his staff and then sweep his legs.
- 44:45Right.
- 44:48Let's call it a strike, because one of the options on strike is to have them mark a condition.
- 44:54And so what you could do is mark a condition to have them basically sun.
- 44:58Yeah.
- 44:59Okay, that makes sense.
- 45:00Okay, sounds good.
- 45:01He's also going to take the advanced attack options, but players, I believe, roll first, so feel free.
- 45:06Go ahead.
- 45:07And years twelve.
- 45:10Oh, wow.
- 45:11Okay, so you get to pick, like, give them away.
- 45:14Double check here.
- 45:17You can mark one fatigue.
- 45:20You'll learn technique.
- 45:21You can use one practice technique.
- 45:23You can use two basic or mastered techniques.
- 45:27So you have quite a bit of options here.
- 45:31Honestly, if you wanted to, you could just do I think, technically speaking, you're not supposed to take the same one twice, but I don't see an issue with it, especially given the way that you described it.
- 45:42If you wanted to strike twice, since the first one is to essentially throw the box at him.
- 45:49Can I, for example, strike him, which knocks him to the ground and then pressure him? Yeah, definitely.
- 45:57Okay.
- 45:58Yeah.
- 45:58If I do that, then I knock him to the ground.
- 46:00And then because my idea was after he spoke to the ground, he's got this crate, like, in his hands, kind of like stumbled around.
- 46:07Maybe he even dropped it.
- 46:09We could say that he's trapped.
- 46:11Since you can market condition, you could say he's trapped.
- 46:13I don't care which one it is, because regardless of how he lands bills, then just going to point the staff at the side of his head.
- 46:20Okay.
- 46:21And he's going to say, I'll be taking that box of crate.
- 46:24I'll take that crate now.
- 46:26Okay.
- 46:27So I'm just going to say, yeah, okay.
- 46:28So you throw the crate at him like you said you would.
- 46:31Him being ready to attack you, it throws him off balance.
- 46:35He's not expecting it, so he catches it, but in the process falls backwards.
- 46:40Now this 70, 80 pound crate of fruit is on top of him, and he's just, like, laying there practically sprawled out.
- 46:47He's trying to push it up.
- 46:48You put your bow staff up to his head and you say, I'll be taking that fruit now.
- 46:54And he says, okay, yeah, go ahead and take it.
- 46:57It really hurts.
- 46:59Okay.
- 47:00And then Bill is just going to give him a look that's like, don't mess with me.
- 47:07And he's going to slide the staff back onto his back and then just pick up the crate off of him.
- 47:13Okay, sounds good.
- 47:14You pick up the crate, the guy kind of lays there for a second.
- 47:19He's kind of just trying to catch his breath, essentially.
- 47:25So he's not bothering you.
- 47:27Okay.
- 47:28Bill is going to just kind of pick up the crate and he's going to start walking away.
- 47:34Okay.
- 47:34Eventually you do see that you kind of, like, look back and you notice that he does stand up.
- 47:39He looks pretty beat up, and he just kind of limps back into the mansion.
- 47:46Bill assumes that won't be the last of him, but he already has a plan.
- 47:50Now that he knows that there's a marking on that crate, he's going to turn, look at them around the box.
- 47:58Was it only on one side of the box? I'd say like, one on each side, on the wide sides or whatever.
- 48:03Yeah.
- 48:04Okay.
- 48:05So he's going to hold it on those logos.
- 48:08That's how he's going to hold it.
- 48:09So his hands are like, kind of covering those logos.
- 48:11And then when he gets to the crate, it's going to be like, oh, Mr.
- 48:14O'grand, look, I found some fruit.
- 48:16Maybe we can make more fruit teas.
- 48:19Oh, my gosh.
- 48:20Where did you find this fruit? Funny enough, I found them in a hedge maze.
- 48:26What? Apparently, I think he was part of a game.
- 48:32I don't know for sure, but I like the mask game.
- 48:36I figured fruit and tea sounds good.
- 48:40He reaches over hold on.
- 48:44He takes Bill, then walks over to the cart, sees an open spot, and he's just going to turn the cray over, flip it over, and just dump all the fruit into the coconut.
- 48:54We don't want to bruise it.
- 48:57This fruit has been through worse.
- 49:03He's like, oh, take a look at it.
- 49:04See it? Yeah.
- 49:05When Mr.
- 49:06Oakron looks down, bill is then going to snap the sides of the box on the SNY side of the box when he's not looking.
- 49:12Oh, okay.
- 49:13He's sure he's going to care, and he'll look up.
- 49:14He'd be like, oh, the box was bad.
- 49:16I'll get rid of it.
- 49:17And they'll just start taking pieces.
- 49:19And he finds, like, you want to throw them in the fire? Yeah, you find the fire.
- 49:23And it just saves me a trip to go get more wood.
- 49:26Finds the fire, tosses them, and then he walks back.
- 49:29He's like, yeah, there you go.
- 49:30How long? These ingredients are exactly what my recipe calls for.
- 49:37Oh, wow.
- 49:38This is quite a strange did they plan this explicitly for us? I feel like they planned it for us in hot leaf juice.
- 49:44They would say, oh, let's take their ingredient list and let's get them a restock and hide it on the rich people.
- 49:52Bill, I tell you why.
- 49:53No, but the rich people that were in the hedge maze really were loving these fruit.
- 49:58They were.
- 49:59One guy wouldn't shut up about it.
- 50:02We did open up this game to the whole party, but I felt like fruit and a maze versus fruit that's accessible to all, and a tea would be slightly better.
- 50:13So that's why I kind of took it for myself.
- 50:14I didn't ask anyone.
- 50:16Maybe I should have asked, like, Stephen with a V, but, you know yeah, well, we're here now.
- 50:22I'm sure.
- 50:24Why else would a crateful of fruit be amazed? That's too ridiculous to possibly be, like, a storing place.
- 50:33Some of these fruits have to be kept cold.
- 50:35Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
- 50:36It just seems ridiculous.
- 50:37Anyway.
- 50:38Well, fantastic.
- 50:39Fine.
- 50:39Bill, you did very good.
- 50:41I'm very proud of you.
- 50:42Thank you.
- 50:42Oh, thank you.
- 50:43That means a lot.
- 50:44Oh, yes, absolutely.
- 50:46Calling me blown away.
- 50:50Anyway, let's get to work.
- 50:51Let's get this t going.
- 50:53All right.
- 50:53And Bill just kind of takes up his usual position in the front to serve customers, and I guess he's now promoting the fresh fruit tea that they just got right on stock.
- 51:05Now, Guo, out of curiosity, while they were gone, we'll do a little bit of backtracking.
- 51:10Is there anything you were up to specifically? You had a lot of customers coming by.
- 51:17They wanted tea.
- 51:18You were kind of, like, training just a little bit left you guys had in the pot.
- 51:23You might have even been, I don't know, watering some down, maybe adding a little extra water to it to make it last.
- 51:30Mr.
- 51:30Ocaron, obviously, is just doing his best to really just maximize the ingredients that you guys have left.
- 51:37Yeah, he was doing, like, flights of tea samples to make the most use of what they had left.
- 51:48Sure, yeah.
- 51:51Some of the people would walk by, and they'd be like, oh, is this alcohol to you? N d.
- 52:01If you supply your own B-Y-O-D.
- 52:06Bring your own drink, you say.
- 52:12And then he calls out, he's like, you bring us raspberry colgio? He's talking to me? No, he's talking to just a passerby service.
- 52:24And the servant says, yes, right away, sir, and brushes off back into the house, and shortly after brings out a bottle of this wine, which he then takes some flights of your you just call them flights, right? Yeah, the glasses.
- 52:40Right.
- 52:41Okay.
- 52:41He starts pouring just a little bit of wine in each one of them, and he starts kind of, like, handing them to some of his friends that he's gathered around him.
- 52:49He's like, oh, it's trouble.
- 52:53This is quite electable.
- 52:56I could heat that up for you if you wanted to.
- 53:00Sure, yeah.
- 53:03He puts it in a pot and heats it over the fire to allow it to kind of, like, fully mix into itself.
- 53:13Okay.
- 53:16Quite the experience.
- 53:18I made this for you, Drake.
- 53:22My hot tea wine.
- 53:25The irony of the situation is that it's actually brought more customers over, because now you've got these people, these high society people that are just excitedly sipping away at this tea wine that they've kind of helped discovered, and they're like, who.
- 53:43Do you serve this at your tea shop, or is this one of, like, the late night specials? It's kind of a secret menu item.
- 53:55You ever heard of that? No.
- 53:59Many secrets, but not about a secret menu.
- 54:02Only those in the know can ask for it, you know? Well, does that mean that I now know and I just tap my nose? He taps his nose back.
- 54:18He's like, is that guy who asked for the cordial still around? Yeah, he's the one you're talking he's kind of taking the lead on this one.
- 54:32Hey, would you mind we're actually running low on some of our supplies.
- 54:38Would you mind getting that servant to bring us some more of this cordial? Of course.
- 54:44Excuse me, servant, could you supply them with whatever you need? I would like to make sure that this drink is kept on tap all night long.
- 54:56Thanks.
- 54:57I appreciate that.
- 54:58I'm a little young to be asking for that.
- 55:00He'd probably take oh, yes, of course.
- 55:03I see.
- 55:04That's funny.
- 55:05Yes.
- 55:06If you guys keep this coming, I tell you what.
- 55:09I'll make sure everybody stops from this whole party stops by y'all boo.
- 55:13When I left the stand to look GuoHan in charge, I did not expect it to come back to it.
- 55:20Turned into a bar.
- 55:23He's running an eelery over there.
- 55:26He's gone for 15 minutes.
- 55:29This is what Guohai dreams of doing when Mr.
- 55:32Okran gives the shop to him eventually.
- 55:35You know what the real dream all? It started with him giving that one really weird drink to that young guy and how his dreams he liked it.
- 55:46What else can I make? And then I think that the real humor to this, too, is that GLOW's idea to make tea wine is obviously greatly receptive by people, but global idea to hold a block party got shot down pretty dang fast because beating people up and stealing from rich people is waiting.
- 56:07I was secretly trying to get his alcoholic tea out there.
- 56:13We shot it down.
- 56:14So he's like, I've got a different way.
- 56:16Until they're all gone, man, this is going to be, like, the next big thing.
- 56:20Mr.
- 56:20Ogron is so, like, focused on trying to make sure that all his ingredients last.
- 56:26And whatnot that? He has no idea that he's doing what he's doing.
- 56:31But obviously it's working.
- 56:34Yeah.
- 56:36When he's stoking the fire, guo is just, like, pouring the wine into the kettle right next to him.
- 56:44He turns his bag and he pours them into it's.
- 56:48Okay, everybody here is an adult.
- 56:49I'm spiking the tea.
- 56:52Oh, gosh, we are going to have to okay, well, after people prefer this over hot lead.
- 56:58Yeah, that's right.
- 57:00They got more than they were bargaining for.
- 57:02So you continue to do that or eventually bill comes back.
- 57:06This is what happens when we have two characters that both start with b.
- 57:11Bill could come back.
- 57:13Yeah.
- 57:17Bill returns to blissful Bruce booth to find that there are even more people there than when he left excitedly getting drinks.
- 57:29Right now at your booth, you're almost confused as to where is it all coming from.
- 57:37You had that conversation with Mr.
- 57:39O, and I'm like, oh, some of this fruit would be perfect for a garnish new drink I came up with.
- 57:52And bill's going to kind of take a little guild aside with the freeze.
- 57:56Go.
- 57:56Hey, what's this special order they keep asking for? Like, they keep coming back asking for seconds and thirds, and I don't remember this secret menu.
- 58:06Oh, yeah.
- 58:07Also, by the way, Bill, every time someone asks for the secret menu, I swear, do they wink? They wink at me.
- 58:13Oh, come on.
- 58:16And they tap their nose.
- 58:18That's right.
- 58:19They're asking for a secret menu and winking at me.
- 58:22What did you do while I was gone? Don't tell Mr.
- 58:26Okeron, but we were running out of stuff, and I was trying to stretch it as much as I could.
- 58:34I was doing, like, samples and flights of different kinds.
- 58:40And then this one guy, that guy right over there.
- 58:43Oh, the guy in wine for his fifth? Yeah, the one staggering.
- 58:51He asked for some wine, some cordial like fruity wine, obviously.
- 58:57Wines, fruity, extra strong.
- 59:02He was putting it in his drink and that gave me an idea.
- 59:05Maybe we could heat that up.
- 59:07So I did, and that's what's in the kettle right now, you see, like Mr.
- 59:14Ocron happily.
- 59:18Oh, I fully understand now.
- 59:20Okay.
- 59:21You know what? I love this idea.
- 59:23I think it's going to bring even more customers as it has.
- 59:27We really need to keep this hush because I'm pretty sure Mr.
- 59:30Oakron does not have a liquor license.
- 59:35Yeah, especially if he finds out a how do you say minor was the one serving the liquor.
- 59:42I think that might be even more of an issue.
- 59:46The worst comes to worst.
- 59:47Go.
- 59:47Han.
- 59:48I'll take the blame.
- 59:49Don't worry about it.
- 59:50And they'll just kind of turns around and goes, special order coming right up, and we'll give them a wink.
- 59:56Wonderful.
- 1:00:00And I'll work on making some fake mustaches just to get to keep you around.
- 1:00:06Guan, you're the man with the plan.
- 1:00:08He was going to turn around looking guan, put a little bit of hair off of his head in just fashion, stuck it to his upper lips.
- 1:00:25Mika, who is currently wandering through the maze.
- 1:00:29I'm not wandering.
- 1:00:30I know where I'm going.
- 1:00:31She knows exactly where she's going.
- 1:00:33Where are you going, then? The center of the maze.
- 1:00:36Okay.
- 1:00:37Sure enough.
- 1:00:37How would you know? You're there sure that there's some elaborate thing in the middle of the maze.
- 1:00:42That's how most fancy mazes are once you get to the middle age, I think.
- 1:00:46Oh, that's where all the people crates never ended up in the middle of May.
- 1:00:50They're not looking for the crates you just went to.
- 1:00:53I'm trying to hide from everything.
- 1:00:55I think she assumed Bill was going through the maze.
- 1:01:01I think she's like, racing Bill secretly.
- 1:01:04No, I'm not racing.
- 1:01:05I'm literally going into the maze so people can't find that's smart.
- 1:01:09But you got to be prepared for some riddles and also for a lot of people making out.
- 1:01:16Yeah, as long as I don't have to make out, that's fine.
- 1:01:22I would certainly hope not.
- 1:01:23Because your character is under 18, right? No, she's like, 1817.
- 1:01:30I think we all agreed everyone here is 17 but Guo Hon, who is 15.
- 1:01:35Yeah, I'm 17, so I guess I'm still a minor.
- 1:01:38That's why I thought, so the last one here should be serving alcohol.
- 1:01:4314 year old.
- 1:01:46That's why Bill was like, I'll take the blame, if anything, because a 17 year old serving alcohol is a little more forgiving than whatever, a 14 year old serving outcome.
- 1:01:57Okay, so, Mike, I'm going to have you roll and assess the situation.
- 1:02:02You just can't take it, then.
- 1:02:04I'm so good at what I do.
- 1:02:05Well, one of the questions in here is literally, what is my best way out in or through what's assessed the situation? It is creativity.
- 1:02:12Creativity.
- 1:02:14That's 1111.
- 1:02:15Okay.
- 1:02:16So you can actually ask two questions out of the list.
- 1:02:19So the list includes what here can I use to blank you insert the blank.
- 1:02:24Who or what is the biggest threat, what should I be on the lookout for? And what's my best way in, out, or through? And then there's also who or what is in the greatest danger? Well, I obviously want the best way in outer through right.
- 1:02:40To get to the center.
- 1:02:41Okay.
- 1:02:41Yeah.
- 1:02:42You're able to essentially deduce your way through to the center of the maze.
- 1:02:48What should I be on the lookout for? Okay, actually I'm going to use that.
- 1:02:52So part of what since Mika is literally just on her way to the center of the maze with the idea of just trying to avoid people finding her.
- 1:03:03Basically what she's on the lookout for.
- 1:03:05It's also about what she's on the lookout for more what she finds.
- 1:03:08She finds a strange.
- 1:03:10Glowing sort of like a cloudy wisp that leads her through the maze if she chooses to follow it.
- 1:03:19Yeah, why not? So as you follow this weird, strange, glowing blue whisk, you are able to find your way to the center of the maze.
- 1:03:28And in the center of the maze is a spirit.
- 1:03:33It resembles sort of like one of those eye eyes.
- 1:03:37A-Y-E-A-Y-E? They're kind of like, almost monkey looking.
- 1:03:41They have huge eyes.
- 1:03:43They're very small, and it's sitting there wearing clothes.
- 1:03:48And as you kind of look around, you can keep it.
- 1:03:51Well, we'll get to that.
- 1:03:55I'm glad for one that Bill door did not run into the spirit.
- 1:03:59Both staff would have probably hit it if it would have just went right through it.
- 1:04:05I don't think this is a real spirit, something that you notice as you approach this.
- 1:04:12You look around, you've been really focused on this mist, and obviously the walls of the hedge maze kind of obscured your view.
- 1:04:18But as you've stepped out into the center, the world and the sky around you do not look like they did read more like an auburn, kind of a burnt orange color.
- 1:04:31And something just feels really foreign about where you stepped into and the spirit actually is sitting facing away from you, but its head turns like an all the way around to look at you with its giant eyes and it says, hello, my name is Usire.
- 1:04:57Welcome to the center of my maze.
