- 1:54Speaker 2: A M A zero one at gmail dot com. Now
- 1:59Speaker 2: today we're gonna talk about two different topics for both
- 2:04Speaker 2: of these podcasts, but I'm combining them because it is
- 2:09Speaker 2: something that I feel that will benefit both. As some
- 2:15Speaker 2: of you probably know, I lost my father on February twelfth,
- 2:21Speaker 2: twenty twenty six, two days before Valentine's Day.
- 2:26Speaker 1: What happened for those.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Of y'all who don't know, my father stepped outside and
- 2:31Speaker 2: my mother found him unresponsive. She didn't know exactly what
- 2:36Speaker 2: to do, but by the time the CPR got there,
- 2:41Speaker 2: they were unable to recipate him and he passed away.
- 2:45Speaker 2: He died of natural causes because they said it was
- 2:49Speaker 2: something with the heart, and they said it was hypertension
- 2:53Speaker 2: as well. But we think that It was basically essentially
- 3:00Speaker 2: that the pacemaker just stopped working. So we're thinking that
- 3:06Speaker 2: maybe he forgot to charge the pacemaker and it just
- 3:10Speaker 2: stopped working, but we don't know for sure. But what
- 3:13Speaker 2: I do want to talk about is how I'm doing
- 3:17Speaker 2: as far as the grieving process of it all. When
- 3:20Speaker 2: I first found out and my mother first called me,
- 3:25Speaker 2: I was really in shock. I didn't see this coming.
- 3:28Speaker 2: My sister didn't see this coming, my niece, my great niece,
- 3:32Speaker 2: and nephews, none of them. My two nephews and my
- 3:35Speaker 2: niece and my son, we didn't.
- 3:38Speaker 1: See this coming.
- 3:38Speaker 2: We weren't expecting that he walked out that door and
- 3:41Speaker 2: maybe the last time any of us would ever see him.
- 3:45Speaker 2: My grieving process was it didn't hit me at first
- 3:51Speaker 2: until the doctor said via.
- 3:55Speaker 1: FaceTime that he was no longer here.
- 3:58Speaker 2: They facetimed me and my sister because we weren't in
- 4:01Speaker 2: the state at the time. I live in Florida, my
- 4:03Speaker 2: sister lives in Georgia, so we did not We were
- 4:08Speaker 2: not nowhere near, so imagine this happening and neither one
- 4:12Speaker 2: of us are there, So.
- 4:16Speaker 1: That's when it hit me. And then seeing him at peace,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it hit me and I.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Cried, and I cried even at the airport because somebody
- 4:25Speaker 2: sent me a picture of my dad and I just
- 4:26Speaker 2: broke down cry. Then I got here, cried oft and on.
- 4:32Speaker 2: But at the funeral, I cried when I saw my
- 4:34Speaker 2: cousin who I ain't seen it forever. But that didn't
- 4:39Speaker 2: even hit me then. And then at the wake, it
- 4:43Speaker 2: didn't really hit me until I saw all the pictures
- 4:47Speaker 2: I put together and honoring of my dad on my Facebook.
- 4:52Speaker 2: That's honestly when it really hit me that he was gone.
- 4:55Speaker 2: My room is literally next door to my dad when
- 4:58Speaker 2: I used to live here, so I'm not used to
- 5:01Speaker 2: my dad not being in that next room, either watching TV,
- 5:06Speaker 2: sleep or.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Sitting at his desk or falling asleep at his desk
- 5:10Speaker 1: or downstairs at the table.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I'm not used to him not being here, but unfortunately
- 5:16Speaker 2: he's not here.
- 5:18Speaker 1: But it's it's hard.
- 5:20Speaker 2: But the thing about it is my father was so
- 5:26Speaker 2: secretive about so many things that when it came down
- 5:30Speaker 2: to us knowing anything, we really didn't know anything about
- 5:38Speaker 2: as far as what was paid, wasn't It wasn't. Luckily
- 5:43Speaker 2: he was caught up. It just was last month that
- 5:46Speaker 2: he wasn't. Now what I would like to talk about
- 5:50Speaker 2: is what happens after the grief settles, What happens after
- 5:59Speaker 2: you know they passed away. You have to find out
- 6:03Speaker 2: whether they have a power of attorney. You got to
- 6:06Speaker 2: find out whether they have a executive estate, who's going
- 6:12Speaker 2: to be the person that's going to be overseeing.
- 6:14Speaker 1: That, what properties, what debt they have, all of that.
- 6:19Speaker 2: My dad has so many papers in that room, it
- 6:21Speaker 2: wasn't even funny how many papers that was in that room.
- 6:23Speaker 2: We still clean the net room out. So it's a lot.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Then it's the question of changing everything over pretty much
- 6:35Speaker 2: from his name to our name. Now, whether the house
- 6:40Speaker 2: is paid off, in the land that they may have.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So it's a lot.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So there are a lot of decisions that have to
- 6:51Speaker 2: be made. You don't really have time to really sit
- 6:55Speaker 2: on things because you gotta get stuff taking care of
- 6:59Speaker 2: it as quickly as possible, because you don't want it
- 7:01Speaker 2: to fall into another month. Were's something we have to do.
- 7:04Speaker 2: So I had to get a scanner so I can
- 7:07Speaker 2: scan everything to where I can scan and have everything
- 7:15Speaker 2: sent off so we would have to worry about it.
- 7:18Speaker 2: We do have to go to certain companies and physically
- 7:22Speaker 2: take it, which is something that we have to do,
- 7:26Speaker 2: but that's to be pretty much expected. It's very difficult.
- 7:37Speaker 2: When it comes down to losing someone. You want to
- 7:40Speaker 2: make sure they have a willing testament. That's something that's important.
- 7:45Speaker 2: You also want to make sure that there's no issue
- 7:50Speaker 2: between family members, because you'll have family members that Let's say,
- 7:56Speaker 2: for example, that my dad had a house and we
- 8:00Speaker 2: decide to sell it and his family members are like, no,
- 8:04Speaker 2: we don't want you to sell it, and they try
- 8:06Speaker 2: to fight you in court for it. At the end
- 8:09Speaker 2: of the day, this is why in a state and
- 8:12Speaker 2: why power of attorney is so important. I got to
- 8:16Speaker 2: get one for my son. As a matter of fact,
- 8:19Speaker 2: I got to get one. So while I'm there, hopefully
- 8:22Speaker 2: I can get that done at the same time or
- 8:24Speaker 2: if nia, or if not, try to go down here
- 8:26Speaker 2: and get one.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Then you have to.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Decide whether or not you're going to go back home
- 8:34Speaker 2: help your mother out and help her with things, which
- 8:38Speaker 2: is what I decided to do. Considering I had lost
- 8:41Speaker 2: my job, it was best for me to come back anyway.
- 8:46Speaker 2: And then as soon as I got here, I got
- 8:48Speaker 2: a phone call about a job. When I got here,
- 8:51Speaker 2: So am I going to be working the rest of
- 8:54Speaker 2: my life?
- 8:55Speaker 1: Probably not.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I had plans on trying to build my pocket as,
- 9:01Speaker 2: trying to build my jewelry business, trying to write two books,
- 9:04Speaker 2: and motivational speaking. So if anybody wants me to do
- 9:07Speaker 2: motivational speaking, I would love.
- 9:09Speaker 1: To do it.
- 9:11Speaker 2: But now that he's gone, it's like that part of
- 9:18Speaker 2: me that had those insecurities, I no longer have the
- 9:24Speaker 2: I'm not good enough, I'm not worthy.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I don't have that no mo. So now it's what
- 9:31Speaker 1: am I going to do now? You know?
- 9:34Speaker 2: And then not only that, you need to make sure
- 9:36Speaker 2: if your parents are in the military, that they have
- 9:39Speaker 2: one hundred percent that they apply for their one hundred
- 9:43Speaker 2: percent of disability that they or benefits that they're supposed
- 9:47Speaker 2: to get and that they're entitled to.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But it's not an easy journey when it comes to
- 9:54Speaker 1: this because some people have.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Family members not in the military where the funeral is
- 9:59Speaker 2: not going to be the burial's not gonna be covered,
- 10:02Speaker 2: and you only have a twenty thousand dollars insurance policy
- 10:07Speaker 2: that's not gonna be enough to pay for that.
- 10:09Speaker 1: So you want to make sure that you.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Have enough to where you know, all your debts can
- 10:17Speaker 2: be paid and your child is gonna be okay. So
- 10:20Speaker 2: it's it's a lot. But what I will say is
- 10:28Speaker 2: losing a parent, regardless of you know, the relationship that
- 10:33Speaker 2: you have or any family member, you don't know what
- 10:37Speaker 2: they're gonna leave you. So the main thing is is
- 10:41Speaker 2: that there's enough money in there to cover all of
- 10:46Speaker 2: his debts, so we can take his money and go
- 10:49Speaker 2: ahead and pay it all and just put the money
- 10:53Speaker 2: for the house into the estate and lead the money
- 10:56Speaker 2: in there and just pay what need to be paid.
- 11:00Speaker 2: But the goal is to get everything cut off and
- 11:02Speaker 2: to bring the death certificates leased by April.
- 11:05Speaker 1: So the goal is to buy May. There's no more bills.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So once I scan everything to my computer, I wish
- 11:16Speaker 2: I had could get.
- 11:16Speaker 1: A email copy of it, that would have been better off.
- 11:19Speaker 2: But now I gotta get a scanner to scan in
- 11:22Speaker 2: to the computer so I will be able to, you know,
- 11:28Speaker 2: s send off everything that need to be sent off,
- 11:33Speaker 2: and we have to go and change some things over.
- 11:36Speaker 1: But other than that, that's pretty much about it.
- 11:41Speaker 2: But what I am learning from this at fifty one
- 11:44Speaker 2: is that you don't have time to procrastinate when you
- 11:47Speaker 2: and your forties and your fifties, you.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Don't really have time to procrastinate at all.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You either gonna get out here and do what you
- 11:55Speaker 2: need to do, handle your business accordingly, or you gonna
- 11:58Speaker 2: sit around and continue to.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And things just get worse. Now in these.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Journeys, I'm learning now that the only thing I want
- 12:10Speaker 2: to do is travel. The only thing I want to
- 12:12Speaker 2: do is just go out and just live. I don't
- 12:16Speaker 2: want to be where I'm confined to a job for
- 12:18Speaker 2: eight hours.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I don't want to be.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Where I'm in a relationship where I have to lower.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Myself in order to fill somebody else up.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't want to be Captain Save Hope, don't want
- 12:30Speaker 2: to be a Bill Doll Sea filler. But it gave
- 12:32Speaker 2: me time to figure out what I want to do
- 12:34Speaker 2: with these podcasts. How do I want to go about
- 12:38Speaker 2: doing them full time? Because first it was my health
- 12:42Speaker 2: and wellness, and now it was this. But I am
- 12:45Speaker 2: going to post my podcast on time. I am going
- 12:50Speaker 2: to definitely do that. I'm definitely going to make sure
- 12:58Speaker 2: that everything that I'm going to do, I'm gonna give
- 13:05Speaker 2: it one hundred percent. I'm also gonna do candles I'm
- 13:08Speaker 2: also gonna do body butters. I'm gonna know how to
- 13:11Speaker 2: make those things and get into holistic healing.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So I'm definitely trying to do that.
- 13:21Speaker 2: So I'm ordering stuff that's gonna help with my health
- 13:25Speaker 2: and wellness, and that's just something that's important.
- 13:28Speaker 1: But the journeys are not gonna be easy.
- 13:31Speaker 2: They're they're really not. I would say that pain is
- 13:41Speaker 2: something that you have to learn is going to be
- 13:46Speaker 2: with you no matter what chronic pain is. Either you're
- 13:51Speaker 2: going to control the pain or the pain's gonna control you.
- 13:54Speaker 1: And that's just the way it is.
- 13:56Speaker 2: There are days I wake up first thing in the morning,
- 13:58Speaker 2: I'm in pain every day. But then I got some
- 14:02Speaker 2: exercise equipment that when I move, I'm gonna make sure
- 14:06Speaker 2: that we bring downstairs and that we can use like
- 14:12Speaker 2: my treadmill, my app machine.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Put that together. It's in a box.
- 14:20Speaker 2: So temporarily my stuff will be in storage until we.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Get all of my dad's stuff out.
- 14:27Speaker 2: My mother can put her stuff in the stuff from
- 14:31Speaker 2: this room into that room, and then her room stuff
- 14:34Speaker 2: being brought upstairs, and then my stuff will be able
- 14:37Speaker 2: to move in. At least my bedroom set will be
- 14:39Speaker 2: able to then once we get in there, clean out everything,
- 14:46Speaker 2: then we can start, you know, getting the house painted.
- 14:51Speaker 1: That'll be the next thing. So the next thing will
- 14:53Speaker 1: be remodeling the house.
- 14:55Speaker 2: So I look at remodeling like remodeling your life. When
- 15:01Speaker 2: you remodel your life, it's the same thing as you're
- 15:04Speaker 2: remodeling a house. You're gonna be tearing things down. You're
- 15:09Speaker 2: gonna be painting over stuff, You're gonna be putting in
- 15:12Speaker 2: something new and something better.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Well guess what that's you too.
- 15:18Speaker 2: So this particular journey that I'm going on in twenty
- 15:22Speaker 2: twenty six is pretty much not know so much that
- 15:28Speaker 2: ore prefix.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I am newly modeling myself.
- 15:33Speaker 2: So even though I'm the same person, the way I
- 15:37Speaker 2: address will be different, the way I act will be different,
- 15:41Speaker 2: the way I represent myself will be different. Why because
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm not the same person I was last year. With
- 15:49Speaker 2: pain it can come with arthritis. It's working out. I
- 15:55Speaker 2: recommend if you got MS. I know it's painful, but
- 15:57Speaker 2: you need to do some type of movement. You don't
- 16:01Speaker 2: want to be where you depend it on pills. When
- 16:04Speaker 2: it comes to those of you that are not out
- 16:06Speaker 2: here working, my suggestion is start figuring out now what
- 16:11Speaker 2: you want to build, so when you go back to work,
- 16:13Speaker 2: you start making money. Start building something while you're working.
- 16:17Speaker 2: That way, when it take off, and you can decide, okay,
- 16:21Speaker 2: I would say twenty thousand dollars will work for you,
- 16:27Speaker 2: and don't spend as soon as you get for three years,
- 16:32Speaker 2: just let that money just continue to come in, and
- 16:35Speaker 2: then within three years you can say, now I have
- 16:40Speaker 2: enough money to quit my job.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Still making money. But don't sell your.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Company though, let people add to it. Pay people to
- 16:49Speaker 2: help you in whatever it is. Don't let them invest,
- 16:52Speaker 2: and don't let them be staked or stockholders. Let them
- 16:57Speaker 2: help you by you paying them by them investing.
- 17:01Speaker 1: If you do let people invest.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Make sure you put in the contract that whatever amount
- 17:07Speaker 2: that you paid to get for them to pay for
- 17:09Speaker 2: that stock, let that be the amount that you can
- 17:12Speaker 2: pay to get it back. Because what happens is if
- 17:16Speaker 2: you don't put that in a contract, when you decide
- 17:20Speaker 2: you want to buy back those steaks or that stock,
- 17:23Speaker 2: you can't because you didn't put that in a contract.
- 17:27Speaker 2: That is a fixed rate that they can't charge you
- 17:31Speaker 2: for whatever the value of those stocks and those steaks are.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Now if y'all agreed that it was one hundred thousand dollars,
- 17:39Speaker 2: then that's how much you need to pay to get
- 17:40Speaker 2: it back.
- 17:41Speaker 1: A lot of people don't do that.
- 17:43Speaker 2: So what I will say is, regardless of what I
- 17:47Speaker 2: do as far as coaching, candles whatever, I'm not selling
- 17:52Speaker 2: my company. It's not happening because I want something that
- 17:58Speaker 2: will be passed down, something that will continue on even
- 18:03Speaker 2: without me.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Writing books will carry on without me. My podcast will
- 18:09Speaker 1: carry on without me, so it will carry on without
- 18:12Speaker 1: me no matter what. Sorry, my mother was calling. Let
- 18:15Speaker 1: me put this on silid right quick, so that way.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Give me one second, let me go right, I'll be
- 18:21Speaker 1: right back. Hold on. I'm so sorry, y'all. Oh lord,
- 18:35Speaker 1: it just kept going.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I was trying to do something and unfortunately for the
- 18:40Speaker 2: second one it cut off.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So I'll go ahead and finish this one and I'll
- 18:43Speaker 1: just do part two.
- 18:44Speaker 2: So bear with me, just one sick gosh, sir, I'm
- 18:50Speaker 2: just gonna save it as a draft cause I don't
- 18:52Speaker 2: wanna go ahead and finish it.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Okay, give me one second. My mother called about some
- 19:00Speaker 1: than to eat and she ended up calling me so
- 19:02Speaker 1: cold on a second.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Okay, y'all, welcome back, to you minding your own business
- 19:08Speaker 2: and with self respect lead to self love.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm your host, Goddess Ausha Mary Alma.
- 19:13Speaker 2: This is part two the episode my mother called and
- 19:17Speaker 2: I hit the wrong button by accident. I'm so sorry
- 19:20Speaker 2: on my lap on my laptop, so it cut off.
- 19:23Speaker 2: So that's part two and on this one we're finishing
- 19:27Speaker 2: where we left off. All right, this is what I
- 19:29Speaker 2: will say when it comes down to the remodeling or
- 19:35Speaker 2: what I like to call the newly modeling of yourself,
- 19:38Speaker 2: It's like this, when it comes to you new modeling yourself.
- 19:43Speaker 1: What do you want that to look like?
- 19:46Speaker 2: What do you not only do you want to look
- 19:48Speaker 2: like as far as the physical part of you far
- 19:51Speaker 2: as externally, but also the internal part of you, as
- 19:54Speaker 2: far as your health and wellness, your relationships.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Your.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Career or you know, opening up business stuff like that.
- 20:05Speaker 1: What is it that you really want to do?
- 20:07Speaker 2: Because that's what really, truly speaking matters at this point.
- 20:12Speaker 2: So it isn't about so much of you remodeling, because
- 20:19Speaker 2: when I say the word remodeling, it pretty much means
- 20:24Speaker 2: that you are still the same as far as the same,
- 20:30Speaker 2: but you're putting a band aid on it. But you're
- 20:32Speaker 2: not healing the issues that you got going on. So
- 20:37Speaker 2: when you say the word re that means you're doing
- 20:40Speaker 2: the same thing, but you're still doing it the same way.
- 20:45Speaker 2: So even though it may seem like you're doing something different,
- 20:48Speaker 2: you're not. Because when you read anything, that means you're
- 20:52Speaker 2: doing it again, versus you saying you're going to newly
- 20:56Speaker 2: do something and do something different than what.
- 21:00Speaker 1: You did before.
- 21:02Speaker 2: So when you redo something, you need to do it
- 21:07Speaker 2: in a different way.
- 21:08Speaker 1: So when you.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Newly model yourself, it means that you're not the same
- 21:14Speaker 2: person as you were, but in a certain extent, you
- 21:20Speaker 2: are going to remodel yourself because there are certain parts
- 21:26Speaker 2: of you that you'll be taking in this new.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Version of you.
- 21:30Speaker 2: But these are things that make you better, but you're
- 21:34Speaker 2: doing them in a new frame of mind, new way
- 21:38Speaker 2: of dressing, a new venture. So, for example, you may say,
- 21:44Speaker 2: this new version of you isn't gonna work no more,
- 21:49Speaker 2: this new version of you is gonna build a business
- 21:51Speaker 2: in a brand. Well, to become that new version of you,
- 21:54Speaker 2: you gotta get rid of the insecurities.
- 21:56Speaker 1: You gotta sit down and make a plan.
- 21:58Speaker 2: You gotta make sure that whatever it is that you're
- 22:02Speaker 2: going to do that you're going to stick.
- 22:04Speaker 1: To it, and that you're going to stick with it.
- 22:08Speaker 2: This new version of you is something that has to
- 22:12Speaker 2: be molded, It has to be guided, and you have
- 22:16Speaker 2: to be certain that this new version of you is
- 22:20Speaker 2: something you're gonna be proud of. And also it's about
- 22:25Speaker 2: not repeating the same things in the old version of
- 22:30Speaker 2: you that's gonna bring you back to that old version.
- 22:34Speaker 2: The same version of you that dealt with relationships as
- 22:38Speaker 2: far as being captain, save a whole, build a bill
- 22:41Speaker 2: a doll, sea fills in people, is the old version
- 22:44Speaker 2: of you that basically essentially went into it the same
- 22:51Speaker 2: way and got the same result. The person that basically
- 22:57Speaker 2: essentially is basically nothing changes. So even if you move
- 23:06Speaker 2: into a new environment, if you're doing the same thing
- 23:08Speaker 2: in that environment, you don't need to be there.
- 23:11Speaker 1: That means you're not ready to be there.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And that's the one thing I learned when I was
- 23:14Speaker 2: in Florida that I was doing a lot of the
- 23:17Speaker 2: things like I was doing when I was in North
- 23:20Speaker 2: Carolina because of medical issues. I realized that I should
- 23:25Speaker 2: have waited until I dealt with those medical issues that don't.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Get me wrong while I was there.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Them doctors in Florida were phenomenal because they found so
- 23:34Speaker 2: many things that were wrong and they pretty much I
- 23:40Speaker 2: have all my stuff from you know, Florida that I'm
- 23:43Speaker 2: bringing back here, paperwork that I'll be letting my doctors
- 23:46Speaker 2: look at here. So yeah, so when I come back here,
- 23:53Speaker 2: I won't be the same person I was when I left.
- 23:56Speaker 2: But if I decide to go back to Florida to live,
- 24:02Speaker 2: I won't go back the same person I was.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Hopefully I'll be driving, Hopefully they'll deal.
- 24:08Speaker 2: With the issue with my ears and the sistens in
- 24:11Speaker 2: my pelvic bone, hopefully the exercise.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And going to the gym, and you know, getting.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Out a lot more because I'll be able to get
- 24:21Speaker 2: out because my mom will be here when I start
- 24:23Speaker 2: back driving again. She'll be with me just in case
- 24:26Speaker 2: I have some type of anxiety. So I will be
- 24:30Speaker 2: working on driving step by step and taking it one
- 24:34Speaker 2: day at a time, one step at a time. But
- 24:38Speaker 2: we're gonna get there. We're gonna get there. It's gonna
- 24:40Speaker 2: take a little bit, but we're gonna get there. So
- 24:43Speaker 2: the new version of me is more so no nonsense.
- 24:47Speaker 2: The new version of me has non negotiables.
- 24:49Speaker 1: And that's just sit on that.
- 24:50Speaker 2: The new version of me, my piece, my quiet, my tranquility,
- 24:54Speaker 2: is absolutely non negotiable. So now it's okay now that
- 25:03Speaker 2: I know what this new version of me is gonna
- 25:06Speaker 2: look like. As far as what I eat, what I drink,
- 25:09Speaker 2: what I do for fun, traveling, all of these things.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Is now, how do I make these things happen? Well?
- 25:18Speaker 2: Number one, I gotta build a business so that way
- 25:21Speaker 2: I can only work a few hours. And now I
- 25:24Speaker 2: have to work as hard in a regular nine to
- 25:26Speaker 2: five job. Now I have to worry about the rugby
- 25:29Speaker 2: and pulled from up under me. But if I have
- 25:32Speaker 2: to go back to work temporarily, then I will do
- 25:35Speaker 2: that until I build my business and brand, and then
- 25:39Speaker 2: I will quit my job when I make a certain
- 25:43Speaker 2: amount of money.
- 25:43Speaker 1: That's first thing.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Second thing is if I go back to work, how's
- 25:48Speaker 2: that gonna work with my podcast? As far as doing conversations,
- 25:51Speaker 2: that's nothing I think about. So do I want to
- 25:55Speaker 2: take some time six months off?
- 25:58Speaker 1: I could?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Problem is I have no insurance because when I lost
- 26:02Speaker 2: my job in January, I was going to get insurance
- 26:09Speaker 2: through the marketplace, but mister Donald Trump decided to take
- 26:14Speaker 2: away the discounts, so my insurance would have been two
- 26:18Speaker 2: hundred and eleven dollars, which I couldn't afford. Not only that,
- 26:23Speaker 2: I would have been coming back to North Carolina. So
- 26:25Speaker 2: I probably have to wait in November to get insurance,
- 26:29Speaker 2: which means I have to work until November.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Things like that happen, and they do. But what I
- 26:38Speaker 1: will say is that.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Sometimes you may have to do things in the meantime
- 26:44Speaker 2: until you can get everything settled.
- 26:47Speaker 1: So it is what it is, but maybe not.
- 26:54Speaker 2: You know, if I have insured, if my dad left
- 26:57Speaker 2: the insurance policies, I may not have to work for
- 26:59Speaker 2: a little while. I can actually go on cruises, I
- 27:02Speaker 2: can actually enjoy myself. Not only that, I have a firm,
- 27:07Speaker 2: so I have five thousands some change and credit where
- 27:10Speaker 2: I can basically go on vacation, enjoy myself, pay it
- 27:16Speaker 2: off monthly.
- 27:17Speaker 1: If I wanted to.
- 27:19Speaker 2: So whatever I choose to do would be ultimately my
- 27:24Speaker 2: decision for the most part, So these decisions are not easy.
- 27:31Speaker 2: But the new version of me is I accept rejection.
- 27:36Speaker 2: The new version of me is I don't care whether
- 27:39Speaker 2: I'm chosen or whether I'm not. Either way, I'll be okay.
- 27:45Speaker 2: The new version of me is whatever is meant for me,
- 27:48Speaker 2: God will provide it. Reading my Bible, reading different spiritual books,
- 27:53Speaker 2: get back into reading, finishing the book that I was
- 27:57Speaker 2: working on. But now I have a different way of
- 28:00Speaker 2: looking at it now, So now I know I can
- 28:02Speaker 2: sit down and write it and write it in a
- 28:04Speaker 2: way that it makes sense. So also my courses that
- 28:11Speaker 2: I have that I'm gonna take for holistic and also
- 28:15Speaker 2: for being an herbalist to be certified.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Also getting into making body butters.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And candles, and might even have my own store where
- 28:26Speaker 2: I sell jewelry, make jewelry and also have candles and
- 28:31Speaker 2: body butters where I'm probably gonna sell so perfumes, things
- 28:37Speaker 2: like that. Those are things that I'm considering. So I
- 28:41Speaker 2: have a lot of ideas. So now sit down, write it,
- 28:46Speaker 2: so on and so forth to Like, when I get
- 28:49Speaker 2: done with these two podcasts, I'm gonna sit down, I'm
- 28:52Speaker 2: going to basically essentially write out my go to my
- 28:59Speaker 2: clas clean out all the stuff that I'm not gonna
- 29:03Speaker 2: be wearing. So when I come back, I have room
- 29:06Speaker 2: to put stuff in my closet. If not, it'll be
- 29:09Speaker 2: in my suitcase or the containers I have downstairs. Go
- 29:12Speaker 2: through all that stuff. So when I come back, I
- 29:14Speaker 2: can I have like four or five containers full of
- 29:17Speaker 2: clothes and jewelry, so I have to figure out which
- 29:21Speaker 2: one is my jewelry one, bring that one here, start
- 29:24Speaker 2: selling jewelry, Get a Shopify account, start putting my jewelry
- 29:29Speaker 2: on there, or paying somebody to set up my Shopify
- 29:33Speaker 2: store and have somebody to set.
- 29:36Speaker 1: It up really really nice.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Eventually do a website where I can do my courses
- 29:42Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 29:43Speaker 1: So it's really just.
- 29:45Speaker 2: More or less like planning, but I know what I
- 29:50Speaker 2: want to do. It's just gonna be putting it all together.
- 29:53Speaker 2: And people think that building a business and building a
- 29:56Speaker 2: brand is easy.
- 29:57Speaker 1: No it's not. It takes time. Everything takes time. All
- 30:01Speaker 1: this thirty day is, sixty day, is ninety day is?
- 30:04Speaker 1: That doesn't work? It doesn't.
- 30:06Speaker 2: That's why would never tell nobody thirty sixty ninety days.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I probably say thirty days to basically do the first step.
- 30:13Speaker 2: And there's twelve steps, so you're gonna thirty days here,
- 30:17Speaker 2: then thirty days here, than thirty days here, then thirty
- 30:19Speaker 2: days here. Some people within them ninety days may not
- 30:24Speaker 2: even have any results, then they're mad because you promised
- 30:27Speaker 2: them ninety days, sixty day, thirty day results that they
- 30:31Speaker 2: haven't gotten. And also you gotta realize everybody's different LIFs,
- 30:36Speaker 2: people work out, everybody's different when it comes to losing weight.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Everybody has a different philosophy. So I would just say
- 30:45Speaker 2: that before you say you can guarantee somebody to lose
- 30:49Speaker 2: weight in thirty days, you also need to do another
- 30:52Speaker 2: thirty days when you can teach them how to maintain that.
- 30:56Speaker 2: You also need to talk about it from different body
- 30:59Speaker 2: types and different issues that may occur. So for example,
- 31:04Speaker 2: if you got somebody that has an eating disorder or
- 31:08Speaker 2: like bilimia or anorexia, then you have to deal with
- 31:12Speaker 2: them differently than somebody who doesn't. You might have somebody
- 31:15Speaker 2: that basically essentially is in very good shape. You might
- 31:20Speaker 2: have somebody that can maintain the weight, but you might
- 31:22Speaker 2: have somebody that the weight may grow back.
- 31:25Speaker 1: There are other.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Issues that may align with that, everything from you know, hernias, fibroids,
- 31:33Speaker 2: thyroid issues, tumors, digestive issues, inflammation. So everybody, as far
- 31:44Speaker 2: as how they go about losing weight, I wouldn't recommend
- 31:48Speaker 2: telling everybody that is the way you lose weight.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I would be specific on what works for whom.
- 31:57Speaker 2: So if I have one client that has issues based
- 32:02Speaker 2: on addiction, and then I have another one that's based
- 32:07Speaker 2: on just what they eat, and then another one that
- 32:10Speaker 2: has medical issues, their weight loss journeys are gonna be
- 32:13Speaker 2: completely different. If you have one person that has MS,
- 32:17Speaker 2: one berson have lupus, one person has chronic pain, one
- 32:21Speaker 2: person has CRPS, You're gonna deal with all those differently.
- 32:26Speaker 2: You may have one person that may have CTE and
- 32:29Speaker 2: one person that may have autism, one person that may
- 32:32Speaker 2: have brain disorder or brain injury issue.
- 32:35Speaker 1: You're gonna deal with all of them differently.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Every person disability or not, you're gonna deal with them differently,
- 32:44Speaker 2: just like there are many different reasons why people are
- 32:48Speaker 2: unattractive or would be considered unattractive, So everybody's not the
- 32:54Speaker 2: same when it comes to how you go about.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Helping people.
- 33:03Speaker 2: It's just like even when you coach an NBA or
- 33:06Speaker 2: an NFL team, they're all gonna be different. The way
- 33:11Speaker 2: that each person you deal with when it comes to
- 33:14Speaker 2: that is going to be different.
- 33:16Speaker 1: They're not going to be the same.
- 33:20Speaker 2: So you might have the best of the best, but
- 33:23Speaker 2: each one you're going to basically work with differently. Some
- 33:27Speaker 2: of them you may have to work with a little
- 33:29Speaker 2: bit more than the other ones. Some of them they
- 33:33Speaker 2: think they know everything. And immortal words are humpty dumpty,
- 33:38Speaker 2: humpy dumpty, and sell the wall. Humpty dumpty had a
- 33:40Speaker 2: great fall. All the king's horses and all the king's
- 33:43Speaker 2: men could not put humpty dunt it butt together again.
- 33:46Speaker 2: So again, everybody has their own way of how they function,
- 33:53Speaker 2: They have.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Their own way of doing things, but you're just adding to.
- 33:59Speaker 2: The theme that they're not good at. So, for example,
- 34:04Speaker 2: you have many people that have family issues. Some people don't,
- 34:09Speaker 2: some people have relationship issues in other ways, but either way,
- 34:13Speaker 2: it go each individual as far as their mommy daddy
- 34:18Speaker 2: issues or the child dynamic, invisible child, golden child.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Everybody's an individual.
- 34:28Speaker 2: So just because you work in a facility doesn't mean
- 34:34Speaker 2: that you're not all individuals. But you work together to
- 34:39Speaker 2: build something, to create something, to be successful, to make
- 34:43Speaker 2: that company successful, even when you have people that work
- 34:48Speaker 2: for you. So I'll give you an example. Me, if
- 34:51Speaker 2: I have people that work for me, number one, I'm
- 34:54Speaker 2: not expecting them to work for me forever, because I
- 34:57Speaker 2: would want them to build something of their own. As
- 35:00Speaker 2: long as they can bring somebody to replace them, that's fine.
- 35:04Speaker 2: But if you help people to become successful.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Let's say I.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Have one person that works for me that basically essentially
- 35:15Speaker 2: has child with autism. I'm gonna help them to build
- 35:19Speaker 2: a coaching business that's gonna help them with autism.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Might have one that might be good with the external.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Of health or internal or mental health, psychological health or whatever.
- 35:33Speaker 1: We might even get a therapist.
- 35:35Speaker 2: All of us are building something to work together to
- 35:39Speaker 2: build a company, or even though these people are making
- 35:42Speaker 2: their own money, we still come together just in case,
- 35:47Speaker 2: for example, one of their clients might be better suited
- 35:51Speaker 2: with me, another one their clients might be suited for them,
- 35:56Speaker 2: and even mine. So if we work together and we said, okay,
- 36:02Speaker 2: let's build a retreat where we can bring people every
- 36:06Speaker 2: month to come in and be there for seven days,
- 36:11Speaker 2: and each person gets to go to a different coach
- 36:16Speaker 2: based on whatever they want to do, that coach is
- 36:19Speaker 2: still gonna get paid. Why, because they have their own
- 36:23Speaker 2: curriculum that basically essentially that person can buy.
- 36:29Speaker 1: So either way go, they gonna make money.
- 36:32Speaker 2: So if we're all putting our money into this facility,
- 36:35Speaker 2: and we build this facility or I build this facility.
- 36:39Speaker 2: They're gonna get paid regardless, but when the person go
- 36:43Speaker 2: in there to work with them, then they're gonna have
- 36:47Speaker 2: to pay for their particular courses. So for example, we
- 36:52Speaker 2: may incorporate all of the courses included, but when they
- 36:58Speaker 2: come they have the option to buy it.
- 37:03Speaker 1: They have the option to buy the course. They might
- 37:05Speaker 1: decide to.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Buy it, but they'll get it on a discount rate
- 37:08Speaker 2: versus somebody that we do separately and we do monthly,
- 37:14Speaker 2: you know, courses, and we don't. So again, you know,
- 37:22Speaker 2: it's not about keeping people at a standstill for me
- 37:28Speaker 2: or somebody lowering themselves. That's not what it's about for me.
- 37:33Speaker 2: What it's about for me is watching people grow, evolve
- 37:39Speaker 2: and elevate into the people that they're meant to be.
- 37:43Speaker 2: And we work together to build something because that's how
- 37:46Speaker 2: it works.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And start off with.
- 37:48Speaker 2: A seed and then you have a root, and then
- 37:51Speaker 2: that tree grows and then it has all these branches
- 37:53Speaker 2: and leaves and all these different things, fruits or whatever
- 37:56Speaker 2: it's on it.
- 37:58Speaker 1: So that's that's what it's about to be honest.
- 38:02Speaker 2: It's about being able to say, Okay, well, I'm seeing
- 38:09Speaker 2: my student now become teachers. I'm watching them make their
- 38:13Speaker 2: own money, I'm watching them grow. So it's not about
- 38:21Speaker 2: holding them in these positions. No, it's about like any
- 38:25Speaker 2: mamma bird, watching them grow into something that's going to
- 38:32Speaker 2: be absolutely phenomenal, watching them fly, watching them as far
- 38:38Speaker 2: as different birds just fly, watching them come out their
- 38:42Speaker 2: own cages.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Watching how their stories.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Helped others, helping them to write books, helping them to
- 38:50Speaker 2: get their books published, helping them to be able to
- 38:53Speaker 2: get on ted, helping them to be able to get
- 38:55Speaker 2: into certain things. So they're now doing their own thing.
- 39:02Speaker 2: But guess what, I get to watch my little birds grow.
- 39:08Speaker 2: I get to watch my little birds become the people
- 39:10Speaker 2: that they're you know, trying to be.
- 39:14Speaker 1: And I'm all for that. So again, it's not about.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Holding somebody back. It's about watching them grow. And you
- 39:22Speaker 2: can say, I am watching this person grow.
- 39:27Speaker 1: It's not about.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Taking their money or using them or taking advantage of them.
- 39:31Speaker 2: It's about being happy for them, seeing them evolve. Now,
- 39:36Speaker 2: when you got people that you're helping in that aspects
- 39:40Speaker 2: trying to sabotage you or try to take away your clients.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Then that's a whole nother conversation.
- 39:48Speaker 2: But again, that is the whole point of the journey
- 39:52Speaker 2: of discovery, and healing is about discovery. So it's about
- 39:58Speaker 2: going into the store buy something, but it's about going
- 40:02Speaker 2: in there and saying, ooh, this is cute when I
- 40:06Speaker 2: lose weight, this is what I want myself to look like.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Even though you can't wear it right now. Even though
- 40:14Speaker 2: you cannot wear it, you buy it because that is
- 40:18Speaker 2: what you're aiming for. So I always say, buy one
- 40:22Speaker 2: outfit that is smaller than what you are, and then
- 40:28Speaker 2: start off trying to get into it. So my first
- 40:34Speaker 2: thing would be, don't look at a scale. Don't look
- 40:37Speaker 2: at a scale for a whole entire year. Watch your clothes.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Your clothes gonna tell you whether you lost weight or not,
- 40:46Speaker 2: because mind certainly have I have lost weight. I gotta
- 40:50Speaker 2: wear a T shirts tank tops underneath a lot of
- 40:53Speaker 2: my shirts because they're way too big. But I love
- 40:55Speaker 2: my shirts, so I'm still keeping them. But you still
- 41:00Speaker 2: you can wear a tank top underneath it. But I'm
- 41:02Speaker 2: still keeping my stuff because I like big shirts anyway.
- 41:08Speaker 2: But that's how you know you lose weight, cause that
- 41:13Speaker 2: scale is not gonna tell you the right weight, because
- 41:18Speaker 2: if you go to an office and everybody's standing on
- 41:20Speaker 2: that scale, it's not gonna give you the correct weight.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I went into one dot that they told me I
- 41:26Speaker 2: was two o seven. Went to the doctor the following
- 41:30Speaker 2: same week they told me I was two twelve.
- 41:34Speaker 1: And I had on two different types shoes, not even
- 41:36Speaker 1: the same shoes.
- 41:38Speaker 2: So they don't make you take off your shoes to
- 41:41Speaker 2: get your correct weight.
- 41:42Speaker 1: They do it with shoes. So just make sure that
- 41:48Speaker 1: you're going and.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Getting if you're a woman, in your breast exams, if
- 41:52Speaker 2: you're in your forties and fifties, giving your colonoustrophes, if
- 41:56Speaker 2: they're younger and you need to get one, make sure
- 42:00Speaker 2: that you get every test done that you need to
- 42:02Speaker 2: get done. Sometimes you may have to go out of
- 42:04Speaker 2: the country because in the United States they charge you
- 42:11Speaker 2: for each one. Take a trip to Turkey, go somewhere
- 42:15Speaker 2: where you can pay a thousand dollars, get everything done,
- 42:19Speaker 2: and make sure that if you're gonna have surgery, stay
- 42:21Speaker 2: there for at least two weeks before you come back.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Don't just don't just come back because you want to
- 42:29Speaker 2: come back back. No, if you're having surgery, stay there
- 42:32Speaker 2: for at least two weeks. Don't come back until at
- 42:36Speaker 2: least two weeks to give yourself time to heal enough
- 42:39Speaker 2: to be able to sit. Because when you try to
- 42:43Speaker 2: go and have surgery and then sit in a car
- 42:47Speaker 2: or get in a plane and drive eight twelve, nine,
- 42:50Speaker 2: how many hours you're gonna end up with an infection.
- 42:53Speaker 2: So give yourself time to heal. Stop trying to let
- 42:56Speaker 2: people pressure you on your healing process. Don't let your
- 43:00Speaker 2: job but nobody else, pressure you to come back to work.
- 43:03Speaker 1: If you've had surgery, don't even do it.
- 43:06Speaker 2: If you're hurting, don't don't do it. If they can't
- 43:10Speaker 2: allow you to work from home to where you can
- 43:12Speaker 2: work sitting down, don't do it. Jobs cant can account
- 43:17Speaker 2: for you, you know, having surgery to work from home.
- 43:22Speaker 1: They you just don't want to.
- 43:23Speaker 2: So in the end, like I said, it's about elevating, evolving,
- 43:29Speaker 2: and growing. You're not gonna do that if you work
- 43:33Speaker 2: at a job til sixty five, because you're gonna miss
- 43:36Speaker 2: out on traveling. You're gonna miss out on being able
- 43:40Speaker 2: to pick your kids up at two o'clock and spend
- 43:44Speaker 2: time with them, so when you look back on it,
- 43:48Speaker 2: you don't realize that majority of your life is school
- 43:52Speaker 2: and work. Because even at school, these kids are at
- 43:56Speaker 2: school from eight to three point thirty, some of them
- 44:01Speaker 2: from seven to two thirty, or even some of them
- 44:03Speaker 2: from from seven to like twelve.
- 44:08Speaker 1: They're in school. And the crazy part is.
- 44:11Speaker 2: These kids now they're pe. Some of these kids are
- 44:15Speaker 2: so lazy it's not even funny. These kids will really
- 44:18Speaker 2: be on their phones and do PE, and the schools
- 44:22Speaker 2: are trying to make it so that they have to
- 44:25Speaker 2: have their phones in their lockers.
- 44:27Speaker 1: They're not listening.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Some of these kids are fighting and beating up the
- 44:31Speaker 2: teachers because they want they phones.
- 44:33Speaker 1: But that's how crazy that it is.
- 44:37Speaker 2: But what I will say in these situations is that
- 44:42Speaker 2: this is the world that we're in. I'm getting to
- 44:46Speaker 2: the point now where social media is just becoming outrageous
- 44:52Speaker 2: at this point, and sometimes it's hard. I said this
- 44:56Speaker 2: year I.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Was not gonna be on my phone as much, but
- 44:59Speaker 1: these first two months have been kind of hard.
- 45:04Speaker 2: But I'm getting better at it, so you know, I'm
- 45:08Speaker 2: getting there a little bit of time, but I'm getting there.
- 45:11Speaker 1: But don't rush your processes.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Learn everything you can before you jump into something. Make
- 45:19Speaker 2: sure you know everything, the pros and cons the critical
- 45:23Speaker 2: thinking comments is in common judgment, morals, values, principles and ethics,
- 45:28Speaker 2: the weighing the pros and cons of it, critical thinking,
- 45:33Speaker 2: common sense and common judgment, and the knowledge, intellect and education.
- 45:38Speaker 1: In other words, researching.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Everything, but most importantly the consequence of repercussing in karma
- 45:43Speaker 2: and how it not only would impact you but also
- 45:47Speaker 2: impact somebody else. So in the end, just take things
- 45:53Speaker 2: one day at a time, one step at a time.
- 45:57Speaker 2: But don't let your whole in time life pass you
- 46:01Speaker 2: by because you try to help everybody else. Don't let
- 46:06Speaker 2: opportunities go by because you're scared of leaving your family.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Don't let your money be taken by somebody else. Don't
- 46:22Speaker 2: even do that. So at the end of the day,
- 46:26Speaker 2: these journeys are not easy. They're not, but they're yours.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Sometimes you gotta walk to the beat of your own drum.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Sometimes you gotta move in silence. Sometimes you gotta do
- 46:40Speaker 2: things and they're not perfect, because that's the one thing
- 46:43Speaker 2: about anything that you do. If you start off with
- 46:48Speaker 2: it being imperfect and people watch it grow, nobody can
- 46:53Speaker 2: expose you for your imperfections if you're showing it to
- 46:58Speaker 2: the world off the gate. So if you show somebody
- 47:01Speaker 2: what you really look like and that person accepts you,
- 47:06Speaker 2: then that right there tells you that's your person. But
- 47:10Speaker 2: if that person can't accept you for the external part
- 47:13Speaker 2: of what you are or who you are, and they're
- 47:16Speaker 2: only looking at what you have, what you look like,
- 47:19Speaker 2: they're never gonna like you as a person because they're
- 47:22Speaker 2: superficial like that. So just make sure that whoever you're
- 47:26Speaker 2: dealing with, that you make sure that you are making
- 47:31Speaker 2: decisions based upon what and how you feel is going
- 47:36Speaker 2: to be best for you, and that I honestly can't determine.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Your journeys are your journeys.
- 47:44Speaker 2: And even if people are disappointed because the direction that
- 47:48Speaker 2: you're going is not what they want it too, then
- 47:53Speaker 2: that's not up to you. That's up to them, and
- 47:55Speaker 2: that's their problem. If somebody rejects you, you say, you
- 47:59Speaker 2: know what, thank you for the opportunity.
- 48:02Speaker 1: It's fine that you rejected me.
- 48:05Speaker 2: It's okay that you rejected me, because there will be
- 48:09Speaker 2: other opportunities and other things for you to do that
- 48:13Speaker 2: will be for you. That means it ain't meant for
- 48:17Speaker 2: you to be there anyway. And that's okay too. So
- 48:21Speaker 2: it's okay to be imperfect. It's okay to take time
- 48:27Speaker 2: to travel, to see the world, to not work at all.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I've seen people in RVs.
- 48:35Speaker 2: So this next five minutes that I'm gonna do, it's
- 48:38Speaker 2: gonna be based on that. You got people in RVs
- 48:41Speaker 2: right now that are traveling and making money and they're
- 48:47Speaker 2: not working rather nine to five jobs.
- 48:49Speaker 1: They're on social.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Media showing their journeys, are being nomads, their journeys are
- 48:54Speaker 2: being homeless. These are people that are now on their
- 48:59Speaker 2: feet that can buy a house because for three years
- 49:03Speaker 2: they were on social media, they paid for T shirts
- 49:07Speaker 2: and cups and all these different things. They have memberships,
- 49:11Speaker 2: they have all of that. And that's something I'm gonna
- 49:14Speaker 2: do on not only these podcasts but also on YouTube
- 49:18Speaker 2: is memberships and every once.
- 49:20Speaker 1: A week we get together and we do healing and recovery.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Are just training all these different things to help people
- 49:27Speaker 2: on their healing and recovery and addiction journeys.
- 49:32Speaker 1: But I have a plan.
- 49:37Speaker 2: So you have a lot of people that are making money,
- 49:40Speaker 2: and I do mean a lot of money, and they
- 49:44Speaker 2: are traveling.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Now.
- 49:46Speaker 2: You got people that live in Dubai. You got people
- 49:48Speaker 2: that's living in other countries. You got people that are
- 49:52Speaker 2: certify cruisers. You got people that are seriously making money.
- 49:58Speaker 2: So I said, when i got from moving all my stuff,
- 50:03Speaker 2: the first thing I'm gonna do is call this lady
- 50:05Speaker 2: about becoming a travel agent and then eventually owning my
- 50:09Speaker 2: own travel agency, meaning that I'm helping others. But if
- 50:13Speaker 2: I had to work for somebody else, that would be
- 50:15Speaker 2: fine too, because I'd be able to make some money
- 50:18Speaker 2: while I'm working. I can do my travel agency on
- 50:21Speaker 2: the weekends. But again, when you start making money now,
- 50:26Speaker 2: you gotta start making some heavy decisions on whether or
- 50:29Speaker 2: not you want to continue working your regular nar a
- 50:32Speaker 2: five job or you want to do travel agency because
- 50:35Speaker 2: you got so many people that want to book trips
- 50:38Speaker 2: with you. Some of y'all are not doing what you love.
- 50:41Speaker 2: You're doing what you were educated to do. And there's
- 50:45Speaker 2: a difference between doing something that you're educated into doing
- 50:49Speaker 2: and doing something that you are naturally good at.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Some people do not want to be in an office.
- 50:54Speaker 2: They don't There are people that want to travel across
- 50:58Speaker 2: the world every single every month. They want to go somewhere.
- 51:03Speaker 2: There are people like myself that just can't stay in
- 51:04Speaker 2: one place at one time. They can't even live in
- 51:07Speaker 2: one place for a long period of time. It's a
- 51:11Speaker 2: wonder I've been here so long. So I will say
- 51:15Speaker 2: this in conclusion to all of this, it's time to
- 51:20Speaker 2: start doing what you love. Take what you've learned, and
- 51:25Speaker 2: apply it to what you love. So, for example, if
- 51:28Speaker 2: I wanted to build a school for autistic kids, I
- 51:31Speaker 2: could do that if I wanted to do something where
- 51:39Speaker 2: I'm only taking five hours of my time. So for example,
- 51:43Speaker 2: if I started getting orders for my jewelry, then I
- 51:46Speaker 2: would rather sit there and do jeury for five hours,
- 51:50Speaker 2: then sit up there and work around nine to five jobs.
- 51:52Speaker 2: I would rather sit there and write for five hours,
- 51:56Speaker 2: then sit around and work. And you're distracted by being
- 52:01Speaker 2: on social media. You'll be amazed how many hours go by.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Because I woke up seven o'clock in the morning and
- 52:08Speaker 1: I was on social media, just strolling.
- 52:09Speaker 2: To see what's going on to basically you know, see
- 52:12Speaker 2: what my topics are.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I realize I was on it for four or five hours.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Then when it tells you how many hours you're on
- 52:19Speaker 2: your phone, that right.
- 52:21Speaker 1: That is a lot.
- 52:22Speaker 2: So it's definitely something you really gotta sit down and
- 52:27Speaker 2: really think about, regardless of what it is that you do.
- 52:31Speaker 2: But it should be going from what is expected to
- 52:34Speaker 2: what you choose to do, from you lowering yourself to
- 52:39Speaker 2: you building something and people are.
- 52:43Speaker 1: The addition to that.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Nobody should lower themselves to take care of grown people.
- 52:48Speaker 2: It's funny when I hear women say that they should
- 52:51Speaker 2: get paid ten thousand dollars a month to say, sit
- 52:54Speaker 2: there and take care of kids, when y'all got maids
- 52:56Speaker 2: and butlers and nannies taking care of your kids.
- 52:59Speaker 1: But okay, I digs.
- 53:01Speaker 2: That's why I said the BS is real. It really
- 53:04Speaker 2: really is. It's it's beyond real.
- 53:07Speaker 1: So again, whatever you choose to do, look at.
- 53:10Speaker 2: What you love and say, while I'm working, while I'm
- 53:14Speaker 2: paying off my house, while I'm paying off my cars,
- 53:18Speaker 2: don't give up nothing you paid for, cause those are
- 53:21Speaker 2: your safety nets. If you paid it off, keep it
- 53:25Speaker 2: by the land that's on it. Build something else. But
- 53:28Speaker 2: don't give up things that you bought because you playing russiamlelet,
- 53:32Speaker 2: because what if you buy you give it away and
- 53:36Speaker 2: then you have nothing to fall back on.
- 53:39Speaker 1: It's one thing.
- 53:40Speaker 2: If you're getting money enough to put to basically pay
- 53:42Speaker 2: the house off, and you got money to do that,
- 53:46Speaker 2: then fine. But again, money is about being able to
- 53:50Speaker 2: have the life that you want but also the life
- 53:55Speaker 2: that you need because of your health and wellness. What
- 53:57Speaker 2: that means said, I thank y'all for joining me for
- 53:59Speaker 2: the episode of your host Scott is Asha Maryama.
- 54:03Speaker 1: I love y'all.
- 54:03Speaker 2: I appreciate y'all and until next time. I will see
- 54:07Speaker 2: y'all next week.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Bye.
