- 0:01Till then must life carry its seed of death and sorrows.
- 0:07Plaint be heard in the slow night.
- 0:11O mortal, bear this great world's law of pain.
- 0:16In thy hard passage through a suffering world, lean for thy
- 0:20sole support. On Heaven's strength turn
- 0:23towards high truth. Aspire to love and peace.
- 0:29A little bliss is lengthy from above, a touch divine upon thy
- 0:33human days. Make of thy daily way a
- 0:37pilgrimage, for through small joys and griefs thou moveest
- 0:43towards God. Haste not towards Godhead on a
- 0:46dangerous Rd. Open not thy doorways to a
- 0:50nameless power. Climb not to Godhead by the
- 0:53Titan's road against the law He pits his single will across its
- 0:59way. He throws his pride of might
- 1:01heavenward. He clamours on a stair of
- 1:04storms, aspiring to live near the deathless sun.
- 1:09He strives with a giant strength to rest by force from life and
- 1:13nature, the immortals right. He takes by storm the world and
- 1:18fate and heaven. He comes not to the high world
- 1:23Maker's seat, he waits not for the outstretched hand of God to
- 1:28raise him out of his mortality. All he would make his own leave
- 1:33nothing free, stretching his small self to cope with the
- 1:37infinite obstructing the gods open ways.
- 1:40He makes his own estate of the earth's air and light.
- 1:44A monopolist of the world energy.
- 1:46He dominates the life of common men.
- 1:50His pain and others pain, he makes his means on death and
- 1:54suffering. He builds his throne in the
- 1:57hurry and clangor of his acts of might, in a riot and excess, of
- 2:02fame and shame, by his magnitudes of hate and violence,
- 2:07by the quaking of the world beneath his tread.
- 2:10He matches himself against the Eternals calm and feels in
- 2:15himself the greatness of a God. Power is his image of celestial
- 2:21self. The Titan's heart is a sea of
- 2:25fire and force. He exalts in the death of things
- 2:29and ruin and fall. He feeds his strength with his
- 2:33own and other's pain. In the world's pathos and
- 2:37passion he takes delight. His pride, his might call for
- 2:43the struggle and pang. He glories in the sufferings of
- 2:47the flesh and covers the stigmata with the Stoic's name.
- 2:52His eyes, blinded and visionless, stare at the sun.
- 2:56The Seeker's sight, receding from his heart, can find no more
- 3:02the light of eternity. He sees the beyond as an
- 3:07emptiness void of soul, and takes his night for a dark
- 3:11infinite. His nature magnifies the
- 3:15unreal's blank and sees in naughty the sole reality.
- 3:20He would stamp his single figure on the world, obsess the world's
- 3:24rumors with his single name. His moments center the vast
- 3:29universe. He sees his little self as very
- 3:33God. His little eye has swallowed the
- 3:36whole world. His ego has stretched into
- 3:39Infinity. His mind, a beat in original
- 3:44nothingness, ciphers his thought on a slate of hourless time.
- 3:49He builds on a mighty vacancy of soul, a huge philosophy of
- 3:53nothingness. In him Nirvana lives and speaks
- 3:57and acts impossibly, creating a universe, an eternal. 0 is his
- 4:04formless self, his spirit, the void, impersonal, absolute.
- 4:11Take not that stride, O growing soul of man.
- 4:14Cast not thyself into that night of God, the soul.
- 4:18Suffering is not eternity's key, or ransom by sorrow Heavens
- 4:23demand on life, O mortal bear, but ask not for the stroke.
- 4:29Too soon will grief and anguish find thee out.
- 4:33Too enormous is that venture for thy will.
- 4:36Only in limits can man's strength be safe.
- 4:40Yet is Infinity thy Spirit's goal?
- 4:44Its bliss is there behind the world's face of tears.
- 4:48A power is in thee that thou knowest not.
- 4:51Thou art a vessel of the imprisoned spark.
- 4:56It seeks relief from time's envelopment.
- 4:59And while thou shutst it in the seal is pain bliss?
- 5:05Is the Godhead's crown eternal free, unburdened by life's blind
- 5:11mystery of pain? Pain is the signature of the
- 5:15ignorance attesting the secret God denied by life until life
- 5:20finds him. Pain can never end.
- 5:24Calm is self's victory overcoming fate.
- 5:28Bear thou shalt find at last I rode to bliss.
- 5:33Bliss is the secret stuff of all that lives.
- 5:36Even pain and grief are garbs of world delight.
- 5:40It hides behind thy sorrow and thy cry, because thy strength is
- 5:45a part and not God's whole. Because, afflicted by the little
- 5:49self, thy consciousness forgets to be divine as it walks in the
- 5:55vague penumbra of the flesh, and cannot bear the world's
- 5:59tremendous touch. Thou cryest out and sayest that
- 6:02there is pain, indifference, pain and joy.
- 6:07A triple disguise attire of the rapturous dancer in the waves.
- 6:12Withhold from thee the body of God's bliss.
- 6:17Thy Spirit's strength shall make thee one with God.
- 6:21Thy agony shall change to ecstasy.
- 6:24Indifference deepened into infinity's calm and joy.
- 6:29Laugh nude on the peaks of the Absolute.
