- 0:10Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Reality TV Cringe. I am one
- 0:14Speaker 1: of your hosts, Delia, and I'm here with my real
- 0:17Speaker 1: tight homegirl and my daughter in law, the beautiful, the resplendent,
- 0:24Speaker 1: be a joy. We are here tonight to talk to
- 0:30Speaker 1: you about the most recent episode of Sister Wives, which
- 0:35Speaker 1: I personally enjoyed. And yes, we'll talk about it when
- 0:38Speaker 1: we get there. But I thought there were so many
- 0:41Speaker 1: Josey borsals, very Jy, so many Josie morsels. Now, before
- 0:45Speaker 1: we get into all of that, we do have to
- 0:47Speaker 1: let you know we got to give you a disclaimer.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Please haw'd your wife, it had your kids. This is
- 0:52Speaker 1: a politically incorrect podcast. We say a lot of bad WoRDSS.
- 0:59Speaker 1: We have nooth, no class, and we don't care no
- 1:04Speaker 1: And so if your slut slot, you might want to
- 1:08Speaker 1: find yourself in at the dumpster. But if you're down
- 1:11Speaker 1: to party and walk around Coyote Pass looking at the
- 1:15Speaker 1: pond with a realtor who does not know what is
- 1:18Speaker 1: going on, oh my gosh, well, then welcome to this dumpster.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you are ready to party with us,
- 1:25Speaker 2: be sure to follow us on Instagram at Reality tv
- 1:28Speaker 2: Crunch and join us on Patreon Patreon dot com, slash
- 1:30Speaker 2: reality TV Crunch. That's where the real parties at. We
- 1:33Speaker 2: have so many new things for the new year.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Went over there. It's a lot of fun. Yeah, the
- 1:38Speaker 1: only thing missing is you. Yeah, now, if you are
- 1:41Speaker 1: watching on YouTube, but please do not forget to like
- 1:44Speaker 1: and comment and share and subscribe, because truly every single
- 1:49Speaker 1: thing you do helps us in the algorithm. And we
- 1:51Speaker 1: are growing so slowly there, and we don't understand why
- 1:54Speaker 1: that is because we think we're putting out quality content.
- 1:57Speaker 1: We are, and yet it is a slow, arduous class.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'me to five thousand, Beatrice.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Girl, I know when? An't we ever gonna get there?
- 2:05Speaker 1: I think we're getting a little bit closer.
- 2:07Speaker 2: We're at four point six.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Now, Okay, that's great. I don't get it, honey, I
- 2:11Speaker 1: don't get it. Like just all the trash I see
- 2:13Speaker 1: on YouTube, just like the repetitive, nonsensical, low quality trash. Yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and this is high quality trash, high quality, and we're
- 2:22Speaker 1: stuck a free point six. Yeah, make it makes sense.
- 2:24Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense, makes sense, girl. So anyway,
- 2:27Speaker 1: if you can help us, we would really appreciate that,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and thank you in advance. Thinkl so Before we get
- 2:35Speaker 1: into this juicy, thick booty of an episode, I have
- 2:40Speaker 1: to ask you, do you have any takeaways? Like when
- 2:42Speaker 1: you when you turn the episode off, what was your thought?
- 2:45Speaker 2: I mean, this is the shit that I like. Man,
- 2:47Speaker 2: this is a great episode. I'm like, Yes, let's talk
- 2:50Speaker 2: about the coins, let's talk about coyote pass, let's talk
- 2:52Speaker 2: about the lawyers. It was great. Yeah, and no Christine wedding.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I love it.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Oh it's like a kiss from Jesus. Thank you Jus. Great,
- 3:02Speaker 1: it was really good. My takeaway was that this Cody
- 3:08Speaker 1: Brown person girl is definitely tweaking. I mean now, and
- 3:14Speaker 1: we have opined a lot previously. We have put it
- 3:18Speaker 1: out there that we think he's either on some testosterone,
- 3:21Speaker 1: some steroids, some sort of I don't know, men, or cocaine.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but whatever it is,
- 3:30Speaker 1: it was on display in this episode because that man
- 3:33Speaker 1: would not shut up. I actually had to pause it.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I was getting overwhelmed.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Really, I can't.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Deal with people who constantly talk oh yeah, and don't
- 3:43Speaker 1: seem to notice that nobody wants to be there. Yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and they'll just vomit out all of these words on people,
- 3:50Speaker 1: and that's what the realtor. The realtor was just like,
- 3:52Speaker 1: take a breath. Can I respond? I'm in this conversation too,
- 3:57Speaker 1: And Cody was just going on and on and not
- 3:59Speaker 1: actually looked it up. Really yeah, because I walked away
- 4:02Speaker 1: and I'm like, I need a break. I looked it up.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It's called conversational narcissism.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know there was a term for you.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And apparently sometimes people can be narcissists just within dialogue
- 4:13Speaker 1: and conversations, and yet in other aspects of their life
- 4:17Speaker 1: they're completely reasonable and or self aware. But once they
- 4:20Speaker 1: start talking. Am I doing it right now? No, once
- 4:24Speaker 1: they start talking, they don't stop. Oh my god. So
- 4:28Speaker 1: it could be narcissism, and I think it is. It
- 4:30Speaker 1: could be anxiety. No, it could be BPD uh uh.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Or it could be drugs. Honey, I don't know.
- 4:37Speaker 2: He was trauma dumping all over that poor realtor and
- 4:40Speaker 2: he's like, dude, can I just get my TLC paycheck
- 4:43Speaker 2: and go like o MG. There was a lot of
- 4:45Speaker 2: weird moments with that because the realtor's like, yeah, let's
- 4:48Speaker 2: go over here so I can like get a feel
- 4:50Speaker 2: for the property value and Cody's like, no, let's go to.
- 4:52Speaker 1: The fence line, right, let's look at all the markers.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go to the pond.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I'm like, no, let me tell you this story about
- 4:59Speaker 1: the pond, just so we can cut in that scene
- 5:02Speaker 1: of him with no pants and his six pack abs
- 5:05Speaker 1: that Janelle loves so.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Much, so he could flex for the cameras, right, Yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 2: and show how masculine and hot he was.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Something's going on with him, Something is going on with him.
- 5:14Speaker 1: So I'm just going to reassert that I think he's
- 5:16Speaker 1: taking some kind of a substance because that was just
- 5:19Speaker 1: off the chain and wiggety whack.
- 5:21Speaker 2: He's gotta be man, he's crazy.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Yeah. All right, Well, now that we have that out
- 5:26Speaker 1: of the way, let's get into seasonn episode excuse me.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Season nineteen, episode eighteen entitled.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Money is the Root of All Evil, which, by.
- 5:36Speaker 1: The way, just sidebar. I hate when people quote that, yeah,
- 5:40Speaker 1: because it's not the right it's not the actual quote. Yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 1: the actual scripture reads that it's the love of money
- 5:46Speaker 1: that is the root of all evil, because of course
- 5:48Speaker 1: money is just neutral. It is a tool, it is
- 5:51Speaker 1: the currency. It's your love of money, it's your greed, Rob,
- 5:55Speaker 1: It's the greed that is the root of all evil. Yeah,
- 5:58Speaker 1: so I just thought I would share that.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Thanks for that educational lesson.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm here for you, girl.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Well, we start with Jen and Mary and Piero Wan
- 6:07Speaker 2: and they're having a little conversation on the porch of
- 6:10Speaker 2: the Haunted BMB with Mary's new dog Zona. It was
- 6:14Speaker 2: very cute, yes, very rambunctious, and they get right into
- 6:18Speaker 2: Coyote Pass and talking about the division of assets. Mary's
- 6:22Speaker 2: got herself a lawyer.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Not yet, Well, she's talked to somebody. She hasn't retained somebody,
- 6:26Speaker 1: but she's on the precipice of retaining somebody. Apparently, like
- 6:32Speaker 1: three weeks previous to this scene, she had sent an
- 6:35Speaker 1: email out to Cody and Robin and to Janelle saying, hey,
- 6:40Speaker 1: can we open up a convo a little bit of
- 6:42Speaker 1: a back and forth. What are we planning to do
- 6:45Speaker 1: with the property? And Janelle very quickly responded and said yes,
- 6:49Speaker 1: I want to have this discussion. But it was Cody
- 6:52Speaker 1: who was like, well, don't worry about it, ladies. Yeah,
- 6:56Speaker 1: I'm talking to the right people, so don't worry your
- 6:59Speaker 1: pretty little head over it.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yikes, And that's why Janelle and Mary are rightfully worried
- 7:04Speaker 2: about it, and they want to make sure they get
- 7:06Speaker 2: their fair share of everything with Coyote Pass now that
- 7:09Speaker 2: it's paid off, and figure out, okay, like let's sell
- 7:13Speaker 2: and it's It's actually kind of interesting because Mary also
- 7:16Speaker 2: brings up the conversation with Janelle just a few episodes
- 7:19Speaker 2: ago where Janelle came to her house and was warning
- 7:22Speaker 2: her about this exact thing and telling Mary, Hey, you
- 7:25Speaker 2: want to look out for your ass here because I
- 7:27Speaker 2: don't think Cody and Robin are going to be fair
- 7:29Speaker 2: at all, and Mary acknowledges that, you know, at that time,
- 7:32Speaker 2: Janelle was probably pissed off at her because she had
- 7:35Speaker 2: her walls up and she wasn't being very emotional, and
- 7:39Speaker 2: she also just didn't think that Cody and Robin would be.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Unfair, which I just still don't understand me neither after
- 7:46Speaker 1: everything that has happened and everything that Cody has done
- 7:50Speaker 1: to you directly and said to you directly, yeah, privately,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and also publicly in the show, Like I don't I
- 7:57Speaker 1: don't understand how Mary had that position, but the fact
- 8:00Speaker 1: that Mary then went to Cody and Robin and told
- 8:04Speaker 1: them what Janelle had said, and they all kind of
- 8:06Speaker 1: laughed about it because, oh my god, Cody would never
- 8:09Speaker 1: And now here we are months later, literally months later,
- 8:13Speaker 1: and Cody is refusing to talk about it. Mary's like,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm offering to help, like what can I do? And
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's crickets, there's nothing. And so even Mary, with the
- 8:23Speaker 1: emotional intelligence of a gnat, can see that this is
- 8:28Speaker 1: not going to work out well for her unless she
- 8:30Speaker 1: does something. And I love.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Jen, me too.
- 8:32Speaker 1: In these scenes, me too. Sometimes she annoys me a
- 8:35Speaker 1: little bit. She seems very conscious of the camera to me,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and so I'm always wonder like how sincere and genuine
- 8:42Speaker 1: she's being. But like, I really do think she has
- 8:45Speaker 1: Mary's back, and in this moment she's all of us.
- 8:48Speaker 1: When Mary's like, I don't want to make waves, and
- 8:50Speaker 1: Jen's like I do, Yeah, I've got the matches. Let
- 8:53Speaker 1: me do the whole thing down. I am ready.
- 8:57Speaker 2: She's the friend that Mary needs, honestly, and Mary even
- 8:59Speaker 2: says thing to the effect of like Jen has been
- 9:02Speaker 2: the most loyal to me, like more loyal than anybody
- 9:05Speaker 2: in my family. Like she's been there for her. She's
- 9:07Speaker 2: definitely her ride or die. We didn't talk about this
- 9:10Speaker 2: at the beginning of this recap. But they're starting a
- 9:12Speaker 2: podcast together.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, which are great.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I love that.
- 9:16Speaker 1: So I think you posted that on our Instagram. It's
- 9:18Speaker 1: going to be called Salty Birches, yeah, which is a
- 9:21Speaker 1: play on the term salty bitches. Yeah, which also is
- 9:26Speaker 1: very Germane because in this episode, Cody actually refers to
- 9:29Speaker 1: Jen as a bitch.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So they must have seen this footage and I actually
- 9:34Speaker 1: think that this is genius level marketing. Agreed. And I
- 9:37Speaker 1: saw on Reddit and I think you also posted on Instagram.
- 9:39Speaker 1: They're wearing like sweatshirts with they've got merch calling Jen
- 9:44Speaker 1: a bitch. But yeah, let me ask you this in
- 9:47Speaker 1: our sidebar conversation about the podcast, do we think Mary
- 9:52Speaker 1: is actually going to be open and honest and transparent
- 9:58Speaker 1: and give us the real deats?
- 10:00Speaker 2: I feel like no. I feel like Mary is the
- 10:02Speaker 2: queen of breadcrumbs, dude. I mean it's like she dangles
- 10:05Speaker 2: the carrot in front of everybody all the fucking time.
- 10:07Speaker 2: She'll say just enough to like keep you on the hook,
- 10:11Speaker 2: but not enough to like actually go balls to the
- 10:14Speaker 2: wall and call Cody a dickhead or he's got a
- 10:17Speaker 2: small penis like, why don't you say peace? He just
- 10:21Speaker 2: divold it? Please, right, I don't understand why you hold that.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 2: And even in this episode with Jen, she's like, you know,
- 10:27Speaker 2: I try. I didn't want to ruffle anybody's feathers, and
- 10:30Speaker 2: I wanted to be nice and everything. But now I
- 10:33Speaker 2: want to make sure that I get my fair share.
- 10:34Speaker 1: It's like, now, come on, after you cut a check, yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 1: for twenty five percent of the property, Now you want
- 10:42Speaker 1: your fair share? Yeah, after you were unable to send
- 10:45Speaker 1: Leon to college with the family fund, after you were
- 10:48Speaker 1: unable to even purchase the car from the family fund
- 10:51Speaker 1: family fund for Leon? Uh huh, Now you want your
- 10:53Speaker 1: fair share?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 1: This just rubs me the wrong way. Why weren't you
- 10:57Speaker 1: thinking like this the entire time? Why were you continuing
- 11:00Speaker 1: to contribute I imagine what would be an equal portion
- 11:04Speaker 1: to the family fund and or LLC, but allowing yourself
- 11:08Speaker 1: not to get equal in return. Like, you're a smart woman,
- 11:12Speaker 1: you're a savvy business person. Why was this okay for you?
- 11:17Speaker 2: I think she just really had no self worth for
- 11:20Speaker 2: really a long time. And so like when you believe that,
- 11:22Speaker 2: and you believe, oh, maybe I'm not worth this much,
- 11:24Speaker 2: or maybe like Cody's right, I don't deserve more acreage
- 11:28Speaker 2: because I only have one kid, like I only deserve
- 11:31Speaker 2: two acres, or I only deserve this Like she makes
- 11:34Speaker 2: these justifications for herself, which is sad and like the
- 11:37Speaker 2: way Cody has treated her is not great. But at
- 11:39Speaker 2: the same time, it's like, oh my god, Mary, like
- 11:42Speaker 2: a fifty something years old I'm glad you're finally waking
- 11:45Speaker 2: up now, but I wish you would just say everything
- 11:47Speaker 2: with your full chest. Come on, just like drag Cody
- 11:50Speaker 2: for everything that he's worth by the two little curls
- 11:53Speaker 2: on his head that are hanging on for dear life.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Just drag him through them, line right.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And it's not just Coyote Pass and the amount that
- 12:00Speaker 1: you put in for that, It is also the amount
- 12:03Speaker 1: that you contributed to Robin's McMansion that you should also
- 12:07Speaker 1: get a portion of, particularly if they're selling that home
- 12:10Speaker 1: in order to up level and have a two point
- 12:13Speaker 1: one million dollar home. Now, like, are they paying you
- 12:15Speaker 1: back for the amount that you put into it? Because
- 12:17Speaker 1: Cody's talking a lot about his failed businesses, and Cody
- 12:21Speaker 1: is talking a lot about Janelle's profits that she didn't
- 12:23Speaker 1: share but like, what are the numbers? That is what
- 12:26Speaker 1: I am so so curious about. But to me, it's
- 12:30Speaker 1: just like very unfortunate that you're waiting until now to
- 12:34Speaker 1: make a fuss about it, because you could have stayed
- 12:37Speaker 1: the legal wife. You could have actually got some child
- 12:39Speaker 1: support for Leon, you could have actually got some of
- 12:42Speaker 1: these assets and some alimony legally you were probably entitled
- 12:46Speaker 1: to that. But now you really don't have an argument
- 12:48Speaker 1: because you let this person put his name on every
- 12:52Speaker 1: single plot, and Robin two except for one, I think,
- 12:54Speaker 1: on every single plot, and so now you don't have
- 12:57Speaker 1: the power to do much of anything.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Like Janelle too, I mean, she's pretty screwed too. Like
- 13:02Speaker 2: Christine really was the one that got away with the most.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I mean, she was able to leave cleanly and just
- 13:09Speaker 2: sell her house and make the negotiation, give up her
- 13:11Speaker 2: rights to Coyote Pass, and she's fine. She's living her
- 13:14Speaker 2: best life right, buying Airbab's with her construction worker construction worker, drywall, yeah, drywall,
- 13:21Speaker 2: making a husband. Like she's living great, and the rest
- 13:25Speaker 2: of these wives are screwed well.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I mean they're living great too. It's just that it's
- 13:29Speaker 1: not fair. That's I'm saying it's still not fair, and
- 13:33Speaker 1: it just makes me so upset, and to hear the
- 13:35Speaker 1: way Cody is so blatantly misogynistic talking about Janelle and
- 13:40Speaker 1: Mary inquiring of him about the status of the property
- 13:44Speaker 1: and calling that nagging and saying something like, well, when
- 13:48Speaker 1: we were married, they were terrible nags, and now that
- 13:50Speaker 1: they're my exes, they're still nagging me. I'm still not
- 13:53Speaker 1: to hear them complain. It's just so chauvinistic and awful.
- 13:58Speaker 1: And I hate him so much too.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Every episode every season he gets more hateable. It's like, crazy,
- 14:04Speaker 2: how can you dig yourself a deeper grave? Dude? Like
- 14:07Speaker 2: you're literally the worst person on earth right now. I
- 14:10Speaker 2: can't even imagine. But yeah, Like this whole conversation with
- 14:13Speaker 2: Jen was pretty enlightening because Mary's realizing that she's not
- 14:17Speaker 2: getting her fair share. She hasn't been getting her fair
- 14:19Speaker 2: share for a long time. It was interesting she made
- 14:22Speaker 2: a comment when she was talking about like getting a lawyer,
- 14:26Speaker 2: that she's like, man, there's a lot of things that
- 14:28Speaker 2: I have to think about. Because she was talking about
- 14:29Speaker 2: how she paid for all of the other kids's colleges
- 14:32Speaker 2: and all of their cars, but she had to provide
- 14:35Speaker 2: leon with their own stuff all by herself, and how
- 14:39Speaker 2: that wasn't fair. And then even with the wet bar,
- 14:42Speaker 2: we get that conversation.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Well, Cody throws it out there in his talking head
- 14:47Speaker 1: like he's like, oh, well, now Mary's going to be
- 14:49Speaker 1: complaining about all the things that she has a problem with.
- 14:52Speaker 1: It's water under the bridge, and says some sort of
- 14:54Speaker 1: throwaway comment like, well, she had her wet bar, she
- 14:57Speaker 1: wanted the wet bar. But then we hear from Mary say,
- 15:00Speaker 1: I paid for that wet bar. She did, and I
- 15:02Speaker 1: made every payment on that house, which I thought was
- 15:06Speaker 1: very profound because we are I think in season six
- 15:10Speaker 1: we just saw them with the blueprints and the plans
- 15:14Speaker 1: and her wanting the pantry, wanting the wet bar, but
- 15:16Speaker 1: we haven't really gotten to the construction yet of the home,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and so we haven't heard them talk about who's paying
- 15:22Speaker 1: for what. But the way that it seems is that
- 15:26Speaker 1: each wife at the time of Vegas and the cul
- 15:28Speaker 1: de Sac, when they're building their homes, had a specific
- 15:30Speaker 1: amount of money, right, and Christine came in under and
- 15:33Speaker 1: Mary came in over, and then anything above and beyond that.
- 15:37Speaker 1: We wondered, well, how are they going to pay for that?
- 15:39Speaker 1: Is Mary going to take away from Christine? She's going
- 15:42Speaker 1: to try and take away from Janelle in order to
- 15:44Speaker 1: get the wet bar. But as it turns out, Mary
- 15:47Speaker 1: paid for anything above and beyond that out of her
- 15:50Speaker 1: own pocket.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yes, and I mean honestly she should have, because yes, absolutely,
- 15:54Speaker 2: it's not fair to take the extra money from the
- 15:56Speaker 2: extra wives. And we were kind of critical on our
- 15:58Speaker 2: recaps in the Reworls lines of Mary because the whole
- 16:01Speaker 2: wet bar thing was kind of ridiculous one hundred percent.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Why do you need a wet bar? Like, it's really
- 16:06Speaker 2: silly to me. But whatever priorities, I guess, and she
- 16:09Speaker 2: needed to have, Like in order to have the wet bar,
- 16:12Speaker 2: she had to have a fifth bedroom, and she had
- 16:13Speaker 2: to have a craft room or a pantry or something like.
- 16:16Speaker 2: She had to have this g enormous house. And I
- 16:19Speaker 2: didn't think it was that fair.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And but Leon was right on the verge of going
- 16:23Speaker 1: to college exactly like six months after that exactly. But
- 16:27Speaker 1: it is fair if each wife got the same amount,
- 16:30Speaker 1: and she was willing to pay above and beyond, and
- 16:32Speaker 1: she says in this episode, why shouldn't I have a
- 16:34Speaker 1: wet bar. Sure, why shouldn't I have whatever I want
- 16:37Speaker 1: as long as I'm willing to pay for it. Yeah,
- 16:39Speaker 1: Cody acting like he's taking from his own personal funds
- 16:43Speaker 1: in order to give anybody anything is such is such
- 16:48Speaker 1: a lie because he's really never had a job. He's
- 16:51Speaker 1: never had a job TLC and this program, as we
- 16:55Speaker 1: have discussed at infinitum, this is his only job. So
- 16:58Speaker 1: to the extent that he's purchased anything for himself or
- 17:01Speaker 1: anybody else, it's off the back of these women and
- 17:04Speaker 1: these children, not because he's worked a job and given
- 17:07Speaker 1: anybody anything. Bit.
- 17:09Speaker 2: And it makes the whole theory with McKelty and her
- 17:12Speaker 2: falling out with Robin and everything a lot more plausible
- 17:15Speaker 2: for Robin and probably Cody to be inquiring about Garrison's
- 17:19Speaker 2: will and what they're gonna get out of it in
- 17:21Speaker 2: the profits, because that's all these fuckers give a shit about.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I mean, Cody's saying later in the episode with Janelle's
- 17:27Speaker 2: business that he felt entitled to her profits from her
- 17:31Speaker 2: business because he helped fund it or whatever. So let's
- 17:34Speaker 2: know it, fear that I don't get the profits from that?
- 17:37Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Okay? So you're bringing it up a little bit ahead
- 17:39Speaker 1: of time, which is fine because I have a question
- 17:42Speaker 1: and let's just talk about it now. So what is
- 17:44Speaker 1: this business that Janelle has that Cody is purporting to
- 17:50Speaker 1: have given her money to start and then she starts
- 17:53Speaker 1: getting profits and then she doesn't share those and she
- 17:55Speaker 1: takes those with her Because the only business that I
- 17:59Speaker 1: am personally aware of over the last handful of years
- 18:02Speaker 1: that Janelle has had has been an MLM. It's been
- 18:04Speaker 1: PLEXI yeah, So, I mean, the startup costs for that
- 18:09Speaker 1: are probably not going to be that much, and I
- 18:13Speaker 1: don't really see Cody having to kick in a bunch
- 18:16Speaker 1: of money to support Janelle. But the audacity, the literal
- 18:20Speaker 1: audacity of him to say, well, I deserve some of
- 18:23Speaker 1: those profits after he likely didn't kick in anything, and
- 18:26Speaker 1: the fact that Janelle made all of that money on
- 18:29Speaker 1: her own, based on her own celebrity and the working
- 18:31Speaker 1: of her own social media to turn around and say,
- 18:33Speaker 1: where's my money? They'll run me my money?
- 18:35Speaker 2: Right? Oh but apoplectic, I know, I thought that was
- 18:39Speaker 2: so ridiculous.
- 18:40Speaker 3: He even at the point say it, Okay, I can't
- 18:43Speaker 3: believe you're saying this. I camera, right, now that you
- 18:44Speaker 3: feel entitled to her stream of income. And this was
- 18:47Speaker 3: literally right after Janelle said that in FLDS and like
- 18:52Speaker 3: all of these colts, these Mormon cults and polygamous cults,
- 18:55Speaker 3: that women don't have autonomy over their own money, and
- 18:57Speaker 3: how she finds it very important that women have their
- 18:59Speaker 3: own dream of income. She's got her own side business
- 19:02Speaker 3: so she.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Can make money. Because Janelle was living on an RV
- 19:05Speaker 2: on Coyote Pass and didn't have a house, she needed money,
- 19:08Speaker 2: and Cody being like, well, I should have gotten some
- 19:10Speaker 2: of that. I should have gotten some profits from that.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And remember how mad he was when she purchased that RV,
- 19:16Speaker 1: which she purchased for something like eighty thousand, eighty five
- 19:20Speaker 1: thousand dollars. You already know he was wanting that money, like,
- 19:23Speaker 1: how dare you use your own money to buy something
- 19:26Speaker 1: that's not for me? My God? So he's still in
- 19:29Speaker 1: the energy of that. And I just love Janelle saying, yeah, no,
- 19:32Speaker 1: those are my profits. I'm gonna take those with me.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'm not sharing that with the family.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Why should I queen shit right there? Yeah?
- 19:39Speaker 1: And also common sense yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 2: But fuck Cody. Yeah. And speaking of Cody with Jen
- 19:44Speaker 2: and Mary. The other conversation that they had was about
- 19:47Speaker 2: Mary coming from like a patriarchal culture and how you know,
- 19:51Speaker 2: I think it was like how she expected Cody to
- 19:54Speaker 2: be kind of patriarchal, and Mary's like, well, I wanted
- 19:56Speaker 2: him to take care of me, like I wanted my
- 19:58Speaker 2: man to take care of me, and he didn't, and
- 20:01Speaker 2: Cody essentially wasn't a real man. It's like, right, and
- 20:04Speaker 2: Mary's trying to say, I just love that so much.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Yep.
- 20:08Speaker 2: But then we have Cody in his talking head being like, no,
- 20:11Speaker 2: Mary wants an alpha, but she also wants control, right,
- 20:15Speaker 2: so have fun getting being in charge.
- 20:16Speaker 1: It's never going to work. And I'm not sure if
- 20:19Speaker 1: it's in the same scene, but it's certainly in the
- 20:21Speaker 1: same talking head where he then says something like and
- 20:24Speaker 1: she's going to have to ditch the bitches that she
- 20:27Speaker 1: surrounds herself with if she ever wants to attract a man,
- 20:29Speaker 1: because a man is not going to put up with this,
- 20:31Speaker 1: which is just some more of this reminiscent of vibe
- 20:35Speaker 1: of Andrew Tate misogyny manisphere bullshit, like you can't surround
- 20:39Speaker 1: yourself with independent, three thinking women with their own agency,
- 20:43Speaker 1: because that's going to threaten me right and my masculinity.
- 20:47Speaker 1: So Mary, if you ever want a man, you know,
- 20:49Speaker 1: follow my advice. Ew God, why would I ever want
- 20:51Speaker 1: a man like you? Though?
- 20:52Speaker 2: I mean really, and you're not an alpha, No, you're
- 20:55Speaker 2: not at all. You literally make the women do everything
- 20:58Speaker 2: and work to pay your lifestyle. Like that's why you
- 21:02Speaker 2: have a two point one million dollar mansion because you
- 21:04Speaker 2: got all of this other money from all of these
- 21:05Speaker 2: wives that you fucking dumped for Robin and her goiter. Oh, like,
- 21:10Speaker 2: I'm sorry, and it's like, jeez, I'm going I.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Said, Lord Jesus, you just said that out loud. I did,
- 21:17Speaker 1: but I mean, yeah, he sacrificed everything for Robin, and
- 21:21Speaker 1: Robin gets to be the beneficiary of the work that
- 21:24Speaker 1: the entire family, including the kids, did, and she gets
- 21:27Speaker 1: to walk away. She gets to move into the new house.
- 21:30Speaker 1: She has all of the furniture, all of the artwork,
- 21:32Speaker 1: the deckenziean village, all of the fucking figurine. She's got
- 21:35Speaker 1: everything she could ever want. And Mary, sitting here in
- 21:38Speaker 1: her haunted B and B, just like, can you at
- 21:41Speaker 1: least give me my twenty five percent for coytie pass.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I never asked for alimony. I never add for anything
- 21:47Speaker 1: for Leon. All I want is just this is my
- 21:50Speaker 1: legacy from the family.
- 21:51Speaker 2: YEP.
- 21:52Speaker 1: And we have Cody talking to the realtor.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get to that, telling the.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Realtor that my wives essentially expect me to screw them
- 22:01Speaker 1: over and they don't trust me because obviously we're going
- 22:05Speaker 1: through divorce and so the trust is lost. But he
- 22:08Speaker 1: does say on camera that I will be fair.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:12Speaker 1: But I just want to remind you of what one
- 22:14Speaker 1: of the commenters on YouTube reminded me of, which is
- 22:17Speaker 1: just because Cody is saying he's going to be fair,
- 22:20Speaker 1: doesn't mean he's making a commitment to split the property equally. Yes,
- 22:24Speaker 1: not the same thing. Cody's idea of fair, I guarantee
- 22:28Speaker 1: you is not going to be what the women think
- 22:30Speaker 1: is fair.
- 22:30Speaker 2: No way, not at all. And had they fully divided
- 22:34Speaker 2: up the property yet, Like I keep seeing people on
- 22:37Speaker 2: Reddit saying that it's been divided, but I haven't seen
- 22:40Speaker 2: anything like concrete proof of like who got what?
- 22:43Speaker 1: I don't know that because we're seeing the plans or
- 22:46Speaker 1: the building plans in this episode, not building, but the
- 22:51Speaker 1: land development, the lots. We're seeing him as four lots,
- 22:55Speaker 1: whereas previously they've shown five lots, and so I'm really
- 22:59Speaker 1: not sure how they've actually been legally subdivided, or if
- 23:03Speaker 1: they have been at all. I don't know. I think
- 23:05Speaker 1: the expectation, though, is kind of what's more important. The
- 23:08Speaker 1: expectation of Mary, the expectation of Janelle is that they
- 23:12Speaker 1: get a quarter. Yeah, they get a quarter each, and
- 23:15Speaker 1: then Robin gets a quarter and Cody gets a quarter.
- 23:17Speaker 1: That means Robin and Cody walk away with more than half,
- 23:20Speaker 1: which is already not fair because they are assuming Christine's
- 23:24Speaker 1: portion as well, right, but at the very least give
- 23:27Speaker 1: the other women the quarter. And I don't think he's gonna.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I don't think they want to. I don't if they
- 23:32Speaker 1: would have wanted. If they wanted to, they would have
- 23:34Speaker 1: already done it. We have Mary giving an interview to
- 23:37Speaker 1: Entertainment Weekly in the last four weeks four to six weeks,
- 23:41Speaker 1: saying it is still an outstanding issue. We are still
- 23:45Speaker 1: trying to work it out, so they're fighting about it.
- 23:47Speaker 1: If we've got scenes that are taking place, I'm assuming
- 23:50Speaker 1: Christmas of twenty twenty three, Winter of twenty twenty three,
- 23:53Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, and Cody is digging in his heels.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And then we've got Mary in summer of twenty twenty
- 24:00Speaker 1: for saying, or wait no, that's not summer winter of
- 24:03Speaker 1: twenty twenty four saying, yeah, we're still not resolving. That's
- 24:05Speaker 1: a whole fucking year. Yeah, that's an entire year that
- 24:08Speaker 1: it hasn't been resolved. That means he's not moving on
- 24:11Speaker 1: it well.
- 24:11Speaker 2: And i mean even this whole scene with him talking
- 24:14Speaker 2: to the realtor by himself is fucked up because I'm
- 24:17Speaker 2: like Mary and Janelle should be a part of this conversation,
- 24:20Speaker 2: like why are you doing this as a publicity stunt
- 24:23Speaker 2: to say on camera I'm gonna be fair. I'm a
- 24:26Speaker 2: good guy, like my wives just think I'm terrible, and
- 24:29Speaker 2: they they're the ones I want to screw me. Janelle
- 24:32Speaker 2: wants to screw me over not.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Me, any opportunity she's got. That was so evil, It
- 24:38Speaker 1: was really ridiculous.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I'm laughing because it was so bizarre. But it's just
- 24:42Speaker 2: like him just like oh, rubbing his hands together.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And nothing I see of Janelle, nothing she has certainly
- 24:48Speaker 1: shown us on the show, would ever ever ever say
- 24:52Speaker 1: to me that she's trying to screw anybody over. This
- 24:55Speaker 1: woman just wants to move to New York, not New York,
- 24:57Speaker 1: North Carolina. And she wants to have her flat farm.
- 25:00Speaker 1: She wants to be in her zen. She wants to
- 25:02Speaker 1: be by her kids. That's all she wants. She does
- 25:04Speaker 1: not want to be punitive, and she does not want
- 25:06Speaker 1: to make you suffer. Just give her her money.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Well, it's because Janelle's been the one that he's financially
- 25:11Speaker 2: abused the most, Like she's been the pushover. She's been
- 25:14Speaker 2: the one that he could tell what to do for
- 25:15Speaker 2: so many years. So the second that she's like, no,
- 25:18Speaker 2: I'm standing up for myself. I get my fair share,
- 25:21Speaker 2: he perceives that as you know, Oh, she's trying to
- 25:24Speaker 2: screw me over. Like, no, dude, she's entitled to a
- 25:27Speaker 2: quarter of this fucking property. She paid off a quarter
- 25:30Speaker 2: of it, So give her her fair share. And then
- 25:33Speaker 2: there was also a comment where Cody said Janelle wanted
- 25:36Speaker 2: him to buy her out, and he's like, well, I
- 25:37Speaker 2: don't have that kind of money, which I thought was
- 25:39Speaker 2: interesting because I don't know if I believe him.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I don't believe him. If they were able to put
- 25:43Speaker 1: down four hundred thousand dollars for the new mcmachin that
- 25:46Speaker 1: they're moving into and or have already moved into. Right,
- 25:49Speaker 1: So they were liquid to some degree, and he certainly
- 25:51Speaker 1: could have sold some of his assets in order to
- 25:53Speaker 1: pay her back. Another thing I was thinking was like,
- 25:56Speaker 1: he doesn't actually have a right to hire this realtor. No,
- 26:01Speaker 1: because those women have to sign off on the actual
- 26:05Speaker 1: contract and agreement with the realtor because they are part
- 26:07Speaker 1: owners in it. Like, my husband can't hire a realtor
- 26:10Speaker 1: to sell this house when my name is on this house.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I've got to be in that meeting and I've got
- 26:15Speaker 1: to sign my name too. Yeah, So is this all
- 26:17Speaker 1: just for the TLC? Is this all just for the
- 26:20Speaker 1: show of it? Yes, because he can't legally do this.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And the realtor is also disingenuous because he can't actually
- 26:27Speaker 1: put this in the MLS right and get any offers
- 26:30Speaker 1: for anything.
- 26:31Speaker 2: No, he can't. Well, and like it's like Cody's trying
- 26:34Speaker 2: to get the realtor to appraise the property as well
- 26:37Speaker 2: and be like, well, what do you think we could
- 26:39Speaker 2: get from this? And if you could get any offers,
- 26:40Speaker 2: let me know and then I will distribute that information
- 26:44Speaker 2: to the wives. And he's saying this too, like he's like, well,
- 26:47Speaker 2: any offer we get, I have to get their permission.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Anything that we do, I have to get their permission.
- 26:51Speaker 2: But still send it all to me.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Filter it through me. Yes, yes, So that way.
- 26:55Speaker 2: He can tell the wives. And that's why Mary and
- 26:57Speaker 2: Chanel have a fucking lawyer.
- 26:58Speaker 1: And that's why you want to have this non emotional
- 27:02Speaker 1: third party who can speak to Cody and his representative
- 27:06Speaker 1: in the legal way and handle all that shit for you,
- 27:08Speaker 1: because Cody, he cannot be trusted to be in charge
- 27:12Speaker 1: of this process. Furthermore, the realtor is not an appraiser.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I know, was it Janelle or Mary that was asking
- 27:18Speaker 1: about an appraisal a few weeks ago?
- 27:21Speaker 2: Mary?
- 27:21Speaker 1: I think Mary was asking like, Hey, is it like
- 27:24Speaker 1: the time that we should bring somebody out to do
- 27:26Speaker 1: an appraisal. Cody doesn't want an appraisal because that land
- 27:29Speaker 1: is probably worth more than it used to be worth
- 27:32Speaker 1: and he's not gonna want to have to pay out
- 27:34Speaker 1: according to the new price. So no appraisal. We're just
- 27:37Speaker 1: gonna ask this realtor what his opinion is. Now, another
- 27:41Speaker 1: thing I wanted to bring up, and I know we're
- 27:43Speaker 1: kind of all over the place. But there were so
- 27:44Speaker 1: many bits in this episode. Yeah, Cody mentions that he
- 27:49Speaker 1: purchased one of the plots for himself. Yeah, can we
- 27:52Speaker 1: talk about that, because how did you do that? Because
- 27:55Speaker 1: Mary had to kick in money, Janelle had to kick
- 27:57Speaker 1: in money. You guys, I presume, have to pick it
- 27:59Speaker 1: kick and some money, and then you guys had to
- 28:01Speaker 1: kick in more money to pay off the whole thing.
- 28:03Speaker 1: So how does that equal you paid from your own
- 28:07Speaker 1: money for one plot.
- 28:09Speaker 2: It doesn't.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I just don't understand.
- 28:12Speaker 2: He just feels entitled to it because it's his plot.
- 28:15Speaker 2: But his name is on every single plot. So n
- 28:17Speaker 2: Janelle points this out, like she can't do anything about it,
- 28:20Speaker 2: Mary can't do anything about it. Otherwise they would have
- 28:22Speaker 2: taken care of the paperwork already. They would have figured
- 28:24Speaker 2: this shit out because Cody won't. But all of his name,
- 28:27Speaker 2: his names are on all of the plots. So I
- 28:29Speaker 2: don't know what plot he's even talking about. Maybe him
- 28:31Speaker 2: and Robbin's plot.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I think he's talking about him having to contribute twenty
- 28:35Speaker 1: five percent because everybody had to contribute twenty five percent
- 28:39Speaker 1: in order to pay it off, and so that to
- 28:41Speaker 1: him means I have one plot. It's just for me. No,
- 28:44Speaker 1: even though his name is on all of the plots.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I'm just like, what are you even? What are you
- 28:47Speaker 1: even talking about? Because the records don't bear that out,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and I'm not sure are you trying to make some
- 28:52Speaker 1: sort of a legal case or a legal statement on
- 28:54Speaker 1: camera trying to claim a plot of plant?
- 28:57Speaker 2: I don't know, dirty guy.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Does anybody out there under what he was talking about?
- 29:01Speaker 2: It's like that math meme. It's like, I'm like, I
- 29:03Speaker 2: literally can't keep track of any of this.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And you can't trust anything that he says. Even he
- 29:09Speaker 1: says he's a flip flopper. He's wishy washy. Even in
- 29:14Speaker 1: the conversation he's having with this realtor, he's making no sense. No,
- 29:18Speaker 1: he's talking about his marriage, he's talking about the pond,
- 29:21Speaker 1: He's talking about everything else except for what you should
- 29:24Speaker 1: be talking about, which is like, here's the lamb, what
- 29:26Speaker 1: do you think? Give me your professional opinion?
- 29:29Speaker 2: Exactly? No, Like I said, he's just trauma dubbing on
- 29:31Speaker 2: his reeliner. It's so terrible, And like, what's crazy too,
- 29:35Speaker 2: is that he's showing the land and he's pointing out
- 29:37Speaker 2: all of his junk. So like all of the stuff
- 29:40Speaker 2: that's on Coyote Pass is from Cody and he says
- 29:42Speaker 2: it's from all of his failed businesses, but.
- 29:45Speaker 1: There's no follow up. I know, thanks TLC. Right, It's like,
- 29:49Speaker 1: what do we think those failed businesses are? Because we
- 29:52Speaker 1: know about my sister wife's closet, but I highly doubt
- 29:55Speaker 1: that they have inventory that they're keeping in like a
- 29:58Speaker 1: locked storage unit out on Coyote p Oh.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:01Speaker 1: So we also know that he has some sort of
- 30:03Speaker 1: a weird gun business or gun resale business, but as
- 30:07Speaker 1: we understand it, he's pretty hogtied on that and he
- 30:10Speaker 1: can't really sell a whole lot. I highly doubt he's
- 30:12Speaker 1: keeping guns and gun supplies out on his property in
- 30:16Speaker 1: a lot of storage units. So what other businesses other
- 30:19Speaker 1: than maybe MLM bullshit, maybe inventory from that? What do
- 30:25Speaker 1: we think it is?
- 30:25Speaker 2: I don't know. I have no idea because Cody just
- 30:28Speaker 2: seems so shady and I'm just like, do the other
- 30:30Speaker 2: wives know about all of these businesses that you started
- 30:32Speaker 2: that were failed or like what are you talking about
- 30:35Speaker 2: weird things that you're counting as like an LLC, like
- 30:38Speaker 2: you can are you doing some tax brought out on
- 30:41Speaker 2: this land, like what's going on out here? And then
- 30:43Speaker 2: he also points out Janelle's trailer or the trailer that
- 30:46Speaker 2: he had that was hauling water for Janelle's RV, and
- 30:49Speaker 2: he points that out. He makes a dig to Janelle
- 30:52Speaker 2: in front of the realtor. Yeah, that's not good for
- 30:54Speaker 2: a marriage, one wife living in an RV, especially if
- 30:57Speaker 2: there's dogs in the RV.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Right, Oh my god, just him never stops. It's so unnecessary.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Furthermore, you would look so much better to everybody if
- 31:08Speaker 1: you would just have a little bit of class and
- 31:10Speaker 1: decorum and not just have this need to constantly dog
- 31:13Speaker 1: on these women, these women who have been putting up
- 31:16Speaker 1: with your ass all of these years.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Yep, he's literally now from couples Therapies, which we're covering
- 31:23Speaker 2: on Patroon.
- 31:24Speaker 1: By the way, and it's fun.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just wild to me. And then we have
- 31:30Speaker 2: a weird interesticial with Robin talking about how she's so
- 31:33Speaker 2: irritated that things didn't work out with Coyote Pass and
- 31:36Speaker 2: it's the last like tying.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Oh I'm sorry sorry, yeah, no, yeah, I'm jumping out yours.
- 31:42Speaker 1: It's the last couple of years that undid the thirty
- 31:45Speaker 1: years before.
- 31:46Speaker 2: That that you weren't even here for.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you weren't around. I would love if you could
- 31:50Speaker 1: stop talking about or opining upon how the family was
- 31:55Speaker 1: before you entered it. Because the family was cohesive, The
- 31:58Speaker 1: family was together. It is a good, healthy unit for
- 32:01Speaker 1: the most part. They had their own issues, but the
- 32:03Speaker 1: family was a family. And then you came and all
- 32:06Speaker 1: the resources started getting funneled into you and your family magnetically,
- 32:10Speaker 1: and you started to get all the attention, and you
- 32:12Speaker 1: started to get all of the things, and so you
- 32:14Speaker 1: don't even know what it was like because you weren't around.
- 32:17Speaker 1: So stop talking about it. Am I getting mad? Am
- 32:21Speaker 1: I scaring you?
- 32:22Speaker 2: You're scaring? What's going on?
- 32:24Speaker 3: Mommy?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Why are you so upset? It's because he's an awful person, Sunshine.
- 32:28Speaker 1: It's because he's a terrible person. And Robin is the
- 32:30Speaker 1: worst for real. She's an actual, awful psychopath and demon
- 32:35Speaker 1: possessed Sunshine.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Total home wrecker. I know. She's like, I came in
- 32:40Speaker 2: here for a girl party.
- 32:41Speaker 1: She's like, Bob check Jesus, babs are off, Mommy, I'm sorry.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Audio listeners are like what we have a great day,
- 32:50Speaker 1: Lady with us here tonight, and she's participating in our
- 32:53Speaker 1: rousing conversation about Cody Brown.
- 32:56Speaker 2: My god, but yeah, so Robin's a bitch yep, Cody's
- 32:59Speaker 2: also so a bit. Yes, we hate them all, Yes,
- 33:02Speaker 2: we do.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 33:03Speaker 2: And then we have Janelle having a zoom call with
- 33:05Speaker 2: Christine and David and Maddie. Yeah, and she talks about
- 33:09Speaker 2: how she bought the flower farm in North Carolina, or
- 33:12Speaker 2: she put an offer.
- 33:13Speaker 1: On it was accepted. Yeah, she says it was accepted.
- 33:16Speaker 1: It was for one hundred and sixty five acres, which
- 33:19Speaker 1: is a lot, and she wants to have a flower farm,
- 33:25Speaker 1: which apparently is kind of a big business or industry
- 33:28Speaker 1: in North Carolina, which I did not know neither. She
- 33:31Speaker 1: also talked about putting some cabins on the property and
- 33:33Speaker 1: maybe having a retreat space, which would be great. I
- 33:36Speaker 1: love all of this. And Janelle is telling us that
- 33:39Speaker 1: just just feels like so good for this part of
- 33:42Speaker 1: her life. It feels like, zen is there anything that
- 33:44Speaker 1: would be more peaceful and being out amongst the flowers
- 33:48Speaker 1: and nature, It just it's where I want to be.
- 33:51Speaker 1: And Christine, upon hearing this, is really happy for her. Yes.
- 33:56Speaker 1: And then Christine shares that she too is chasing her dreams.
- 34:00Speaker 1: She just got her offer accepted on a second home
- 34:04Speaker 1: in Moab. She's going to have an airbnb and so
- 34:08Speaker 1: she's excited about that. So the women are like, oh
- 34:10Speaker 1: my god, we are better off now. Yeah, and we
- 34:13Speaker 1: ever were with Cody, and they're both really happy for
- 34:16Speaker 1: each other. And I was happy.
- 34:17Speaker 2: To me too, And it opens up the conversation with
- 34:20Speaker 2: Christine saying, you know, it's really important for you to
- 34:22Speaker 2: have multiple streams of income so that way you can
- 34:25Speaker 2: have a retirement and like do things in your life.
- 34:28Speaker 2: And then we start talking about My Sister Wives Closet,
- 34:32Speaker 2: which was really good. I think it was Robin that
- 34:34Speaker 2: kind of brought it up, and she was talking about
- 34:35Speaker 2: my Sister Wives Closet, how it was such a great
- 34:37Speaker 2: idea that she had for everybody to collaborate together and
- 34:42Speaker 2: so all the wives could get get along, but only
- 34:44Speaker 2: Mary was the one that supported it, because apparently even
- 34:47Speaker 2: Cody didn't support it. And he does admit to this
- 34:50Speaker 2: in his talking head. He's like, I'm embarrassed that I
- 34:53Speaker 2: didn't really care about my Sister Wives Closet too much,
- 34:57Speaker 2: but I just wanted to see the.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Money right, which means it was not profitable. It never
- 35:02Speaker 1: was right. And Robin does let us know that both
- 35:06Speaker 1: Mary and Janelle no, no, Christine and Janelle. Christine and Janelle
- 35:11Speaker 1: were the ones who didn't really support it. And Cody
- 35:13Speaker 1: makes some sort of a comment like, you know, this
- 35:15Speaker 1: is why the man really has to be in charge
- 35:18Speaker 1: of the project, because you're not going to have wives
- 35:22Speaker 1: listening to another wife who's the boss, which also telegraphs
- 35:27Speaker 1: to us that Robin was acting like a boss. Robin
- 35:30Speaker 1: needed to be in charge. And yet Robin is telling
- 35:33Speaker 1: us in this episode, well, in the beginning, it was all.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Four of us.
- 35:37Speaker 1: This was a project for the family. And we also
- 35:39Speaker 1: have Christine talking about how any of the businesses that
- 35:42Speaker 1: they wanted to participate in had to be discussed in
- 35:44Speaker 1: sort of a committee fashion and everybody had to agree
- 35:48Speaker 1: upon it. So in the beginning, everybody agreed, everybody was
- 35:52Speaker 1: an equal partner. But the way Robin is framing it
- 35:55Speaker 1: now is like that was her business. I started this business.
- 35:58Speaker 1: And we've got Cody confirming that she was acting like
- 36:00Speaker 1: a diva, she was acting like she was in charge,
- 36:03Speaker 1: and that's probably what pissed off Christine and Janelle me.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Well, and it was also a stupid fucking and it
- 36:10Speaker 2: was ugly fucking jewel It was really ugly jewelry and
- 36:13Speaker 2: so expensive for like the cheapest, shittiest silver. Like, it
- 36:18Speaker 2: was terrible. It was a terrible idea from the start. Robin,
- 36:20Speaker 2: I'm sorry that your business was always going to be
- 36:23Speaker 2: a failure, Like, I mean, I don't know what you
- 36:25Speaker 2: want us to say.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Well, she takes no responsibility though, for the fact that
- 36:28Speaker 1: it's bad design, bad jewelry, bad concept. Instead, she just
- 36:32Speaker 1: blames the other women for not participating and doing their share,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and even Cody, Right, that's why it failed. It wasn't
- 36:38Speaker 1: good to me.
- 36:38Speaker 2: No, it would never be because of me. No, my
- 36:41Speaker 2: designs were so great and everyone would have wanted to
- 36:43Speaker 2: wear a weird ball's ball sack necklace.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I mean, seriously, it was so bad, so terrible.
- 36:50Speaker 2: And it's also rich to me that Cody was like, yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 2: the man really has to be in charge with all this.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I'm like, you never were, And you also bitched about
- 36:58Speaker 2: how your wives wanted you to be in charge that
- 37:00Speaker 2: and you blamed the wives for leaving you like.
- 37:03Speaker 1: All of the stuff.
- 37:04Speaker 2: It's so stupid, but it just proves that Cody's been
- 37:07Speaker 2: a flip flopper this whole entire time. It's like, what
- 37:10Speaker 2: do you want? Do you want to be the patriarch
- 37:12Speaker 2: or do you not want to be because you never
- 37:14Speaker 2: acted like one. You wanted all the wives to be independent,
- 37:17Speaker 2: but now you're saying, my sister wives closet failed because
- 37:20Speaker 2: you were in charge.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Like, oh my god, yeah, I hate him, so you
- 37:23Speaker 1: can't keep it. You can't keep it together because he's
- 37:26Speaker 1: just lying and it's all revisionist history, yeah, which he
- 37:29Speaker 1: has actually admitted to in this season. Oh yeah.
- 37:32Speaker 2: And this also opens up the conversation more to talk
- 37:36Speaker 2: more shit about Cody and to talk about how great
- 37:38Speaker 2: David is, because Christine's talking about how everything used to
- 37:41Speaker 2: be done by committee and it was always Cody's way,
- 37:45Speaker 2: and now it's David's like, yeah, Christine, you do whatever
- 37:49Speaker 2: you want. You want to buy a house and Moab,
- 37:50Speaker 2: go ahead and I don't care.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Yeah, And how he kind of is able to step
- 37:54Speaker 1: back and be in a supportive position, whereas with Cody,
- 37:58Speaker 1: like it had to be his way and if you
- 38:00Speaker 1: disagreed with him and wanted to do something differently, he
- 38:03Speaker 1: would just talk at you. And talk at you ad
- 38:06Speaker 1: nauseum until you capitulated and then did what he wanted
- 38:10Speaker 1: to do. And so it's so refreshing. And Christine actually
- 38:13Speaker 1: says like, I like being a leader, I like taking charge.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I like being the one in control of a project.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Like I really really get off on that. And David
- 38:22Speaker 1: is perfectly happy to let her do that and to
- 38:25Speaker 1: let them both be successful because she's taking charge. Yeah,
- 38:28Speaker 1: which is great.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Well, And I mean, to be fair, Christine does make
- 38:31Speaker 2: decent financial decisions. I mean, like even leaving Cody, she
- 38:35Speaker 2: was the smartest one.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yes, do it.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I mean, she fucking sells her house. She's like, let
- 38:39Speaker 2: me have the proceeds from that. You can have coyote
- 38:41Speaker 2: pass by.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I would have never given him coyote pass personally.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I'd have been like, Okay, you're gonna have to You're
- 38:47Speaker 1: gonna have to pry that from my cold did hands
- 38:50Speaker 1: because I'm not taking my name off of it. Absolutely not.
- 38:52Speaker 1: But she did what she felt was best. She did
- 38:55Speaker 1: not want to have any other entanglements with that jope,
- 38:58Speaker 1: so she gave him coyote Pass and she got off
- 39:00Speaker 1: scott free with a couple two three hundred thousand dollars.
- 39:03Speaker 1: I would have set herself up, find herself a new
- 39:05Speaker 1: man who can help to fund her life as well,
- 39:08Speaker 1: and I love that for her.
- 39:09Speaker 2: I mean I would have done the same thing as Christine,
- 39:11Speaker 2: because I think Christine knew that Cody was gonna be
- 39:14Speaker 2: difficult with Coyote Pass. I mean, she's talking to Janelle
- 39:17Speaker 2: and she's like, I can't believe he's just giving you
- 39:19Speaker 2: the run around, But in the back of her mind,
- 39:21Speaker 2: she's like, I know. Yeah, She's like, I know Cody,
- 39:23Speaker 2: and I think she even says something to that effect.
- 39:24Speaker 2: She's like, Cody is the worst with like financial decisions,
- 39:27Speaker 2: Like you can never get anything from him. He always
- 39:30Speaker 2: drags his feet on everything. He even admits to this
- 39:33Speaker 2: in this episode. He's like, yeah, my defaults just to
- 39:36Speaker 2: like avoid it and not deal with it and just
- 39:39Speaker 2: leave it there. But now I've got these wives nagging me,
- 39:43Speaker 2: these ex wives nagging me to do them a favor,
- 39:46Speaker 2: and I'm tired, and I'm busy, and i got a
- 39:47Speaker 2: lot of things going okay, So sue him, I mean,
- 39:50Speaker 2: for real, suehim. Foul a lawsuit against him, pou two.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Oh my god, please have him have to represent himself
- 39:55Speaker 2: on two.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Lawsuits, yep, and throw a lawyer fills up yep. That's
- 39:58Speaker 1: what I would have done. Yes, run those bills up. Well,
- 40:02Speaker 1: it doesn't make sense for them because they're gonna have
- 40:04Speaker 1: to pay for that to happen, But that is what
- 40:06Speaker 1: we would like to see. Is Raccoon's in the dumpster.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Would be so great if they did. And then we
- 40:11Speaker 2: have Christina and David, you know, talking about their Airbnb
- 40:14Speaker 2: rental and mo ebb and they have to drive down
- 40:17Speaker 2: there in the snow.
- 40:18Speaker 1: And deliver the furniture and then next week we're going
- 40:21Speaker 1: to see it. And I'm like, is this just one
- 40:22Speaker 1: big advertisement for her new business venture where we're going
- 40:25Speaker 1: to have to go and see the house and talk
- 40:27Speaker 1: about it all that? I just I don't care. I
- 40:29Speaker 1: don't want to see any of it. It's boring to me.
- 40:34Speaker 1: What wasn't boring though, was boping on back to Prowuan
- 40:38Speaker 1: where Jen and Mary are continuing their conversation and we
- 40:41Speaker 1: start talking about dating. Oh yeah, and we learned that
- 40:46Speaker 1: Mary is looking for a tall mea yeah. And I
- 40:49Speaker 1: was trying to gauge how tall Cody probably is, Like
- 40:52Speaker 1: I was measuring him against the little realtor. But that
- 40:54Speaker 1: dude was a pip squeak.
- 40:55Speaker 2: He's probably like five to ten.
- 40:57Speaker 1: He's probably like five to nine. I think Cody's giving
- 40:59Speaker 1: five eight five. I'm not shrinking, he's definitely shrinking. So
- 41:04Speaker 1: Mary wants a tall person, somebody taller than her at least,
- 41:07Speaker 1: so I mean a nice six foot tall, big ditch,
- 41:11Speaker 1: tall water, big dicked man. That's what we want from Mary.
- 41:15Speaker 1: She's also looking for somebody a little bit older, yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 1: which is interesting. At the time of this filming, she's
- 41:19Speaker 1: fifty three years old, and she's open to like fifty five,
- 41:24Speaker 1: sixty even sixty five.
- 41:26Speaker 2: For an old nacre age girl.
- 41:29Speaker 1: A sugar daddy. She wants to be a sugar baby.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, hey, it kind of.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Conflicts with her other desire to have somebody who shares
- 41:37Speaker 1: and matches her energy.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:39Speaker 1: So the older you get like that starts to dwindle
- 41:42Speaker 1: a little bit. But I'm sure there's a lot of
- 41:44Speaker 1: people out there who match her ambition, who have the
- 41:47Speaker 1: same kind of vision, and that's what she wants, somebody
- 41:50Speaker 1: who can keep up with her and support her in
- 41:53Speaker 1: all her endeavors.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Yep. And I mean with Cody talking about how she's
- 41:57Speaker 2: so controlling and she's such a bitch and everything. You
- 42:01Speaker 2: can find a man that would match that energy. And honestly,
- 42:04Speaker 2: I think Mary needs somebody that is willing to take
- 42:06Speaker 2: that control from her and like be like, no, I
- 42:08Speaker 2: got it. I'll take care of you, baby, I got
- 42:10Speaker 2: all this money, I got all these businesses, I'll take
- 42:13Speaker 2: care of you. That would be so great for Mary. Yeah,
- 42:15Speaker 2: I want that for her so bad.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I want that as well. And I think that in
- 42:19Speaker 1: a lot of ways, she will probably settle down when
- 42:23Speaker 1: she does have a partner who is stable and confident
- 42:28Speaker 1: and not just destabilizing her entire world, Like then she
- 42:31Speaker 1: can rest, Then she can really focus on her creativity
- 42:34Speaker 1: and all the things that she needs to do. Like
- 42:36Speaker 1: when you're in a space of oh my god, my future,
- 42:39Speaker 1: like I've got to make sure I can retire, I've
- 42:41Speaker 1: got to make sure I can pay for my haunted
- 42:43Speaker 1: B and B. Like when you're worried about that all
- 42:46Speaker 1: the time. It doesn't always lend itself well to making
- 42:49Speaker 1: the best decisions, and especially business decisions. But when you
- 42:52Speaker 1: have a partner who's on the same page and can
- 42:55Speaker 1: support you and hold you down, man, that is that
- 43:00Speaker 1: is so wonderful. Oh, that is what I want for her,
- 43:02Speaker 1: And that is what I want.
- 43:03Speaker 2: For Janelle, Oh for sure. I mean it's kind of
- 43:06Speaker 2: like Christine and David, like they seem like a really
- 43:08Speaker 2: good match, Like David trusts Christine with their financial decisions,
- 43:12Speaker 2: and they seem to be doing really well. I mean,
- 43:14Speaker 2: David's got his own business with his drywall and stuff.
- 43:17Speaker 2: He's probably making bank. Like they're sitting pretty and great,
- 43:20Speaker 2: and so I feel like Mary looks at them from
- 43:22Speaker 2: afar and is like, damn, I kind of want that.
- 43:24Speaker 2: And I mean David's an older daddy. Yep. Maybe that's why.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Maybe that's why she wants an older man, because he's
- 43:30Speaker 1: got his shit together exactly. Even though Cody is purchasing
- 43:33Speaker 1: a new mansion, he does not have a shit together,
- 43:36Speaker 1: no way. And Mary and all of those women know
- 43:38Speaker 1: that the writing is on the wall that his money
- 43:40Speaker 1: is going to dry up and then he is not
- 43:42Speaker 1: going to have anything. But somebody like David who's got
- 43:46Speaker 1: his own drywall business, who has a future, who has
- 43:50Speaker 1: been planning, who has been saving, Like that's the kind
- 43:52Speaker 1: of man that you want. You do want a little
- 43:53Speaker 1: bit of an older man, if that's what you're looking.
- 43:55Speaker 2: For, exactly established. Yes, And I liked how Jim was
- 43:59Speaker 2: talking about like a senior citizen. Yeah. I don't know
- 44:03Speaker 2: how old Jen is. I think she's probably younger than Mary.
- 44:05Speaker 2: She looks like she is, probably like in her forties
- 44:07Speaker 2: or forties.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Yeah, And I mean.
- 44:09Speaker 2: It's kind of sad that Mary's like looking for an
- 44:11Speaker 2: older man that's put together, because most people Cody's age
- 44:14Speaker 2: are put together. But Cody is just like a crazy,
- 44:18Speaker 2: testosterone down, balding loser.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Narcissist, very much self inflated ego and thinks that he's
- 44:26Speaker 1: all that and thinks that this is always going to
- 44:29Speaker 1: be the way that it is. It is going to
- 44:31Speaker 1: be such a harsh and wonderful reality check when he
- 44:35Speaker 1: realizes that the gravy train is stopping and that he's
- 44:38Speaker 1: going to have to make his own way in the world.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Right, And I mean, if we're to believe him when
- 44:42Speaker 2: he says in this episode he doesn't have the money
- 44:44Speaker 2: to buy Janelle out, and like, how can you afford
- 44:47Speaker 2: that mansion? Then, bro, I mean, I know you probably
- 44:50Speaker 2: got some proceeds from your other mansion, but you don't
- 44:55Speaker 2: have a job.
- 44:56Speaker 1: You don't have a job, and I mean dollars a
- 45:00Speaker 1: month in terms of a mortgage, which is what it's
- 45:03Speaker 1: being speculated that they're going to have to pay.
- 45:04Speaker 2: That is a lot of money.
- 45:05Speaker 1: That's crazy. Twenty thousand dollars a month on top of
- 45:08Speaker 1: the four hundred thousand dollars you sank into it in
- 45:10Speaker 1: your down payment.
- 45:11Speaker 2: In this economy.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know, but I am
- 45:15Speaker 1: watching it. I am watching. I am watching, and so yeah,
- 45:20Speaker 1: maybe Mary's in a haunted BnB and the wallpaper is
- 45:23Speaker 1: trash and the kitchen is terrible, but she owns that shit.
- 45:26Speaker 1: She's paying for it herself. It's not more than she
- 45:29Speaker 1: can afford. I did hear some information about the third
- 45:33Speaker 1: loan that she took out on the B and B. Yeah,
- 45:36Speaker 1: it actually just absorbed the two previous loans, So it's
- 45:39Speaker 1: not like she's taken out one point one million against
- 45:42Speaker 1: this cost which could not support it anyway. Crazy it
- 45:45Speaker 1: is that she owes I think four hundred she's got
- 45:47Speaker 1: a new loan, and now she owes four hundreds some
- 45:49Speaker 1: month thousand on this BnB. But she can pay it.
- 45:52Speaker 1: She's got her TLC coins, she's got her worthy up coins.
- 45:56Speaker 1: She's got her Lula row and now she's going to
- 45:58Speaker 1: start a podcast, which I'm sure she's going to monetize.
- 46:01Speaker 1: So she's got multiple streams of income and the future
- 46:04Speaker 1: looks bright for her. And she didn't like she she's
- 46:07Speaker 1: not going to be house poor, so she didn't overreach
- 46:10Speaker 1: with what she purchased. Whereas Robin and Cody, Oh my god,
- 46:14Speaker 1: most definitely did.
- 46:15Speaker 2: They're so screwed.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I think they are.
- 46:18Speaker 2: I shouldn't laughed, I are, but I think they are screwed.
- 46:21Speaker 2: And I just you know what, I look forward to
- 46:23Speaker 2: the day.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I mean, and he's delusional, yes, like and he doesn't
- 46:26Speaker 1: see it, No, he doesn't, And we see it. And
- 46:28Speaker 1: I'm like, why aren't you worried about this? Like if
- 46:30Speaker 1: poverty is your biggest fear, like this is like you
- 46:33Speaker 1: should be planning for this.
- 46:35Speaker 2: I think it's not even poverty is his biggest fear.
- 46:38Speaker 2: It's looking poor, like the image of being low class
- 46:42Speaker 2: or poor, because why else would you buy a two
- 46:45Speaker 2: point one million dollar mansion, Like why do you need
- 46:47Speaker 2: this stuff? Why do you need that ugly lexus that
- 46:50Speaker 2: we see in the earlier seasons, Like.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Why do you need all of this appearances.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all for him to be like, yes, I'm
- 46:58Speaker 2: a rich, big dicked man with all of these women,
- 47:01Speaker 2: like I'm living life. But no, you're not. Well.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I mean, we'll see how it We'll see how it
- 47:07Speaker 1: goes for you. We'll see as the years ago be watching.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Yes, And then we have the preview for next week. Okay,
- 47:13Speaker 2: we have Mary and Janelle on a zoom call talking
- 47:16Speaker 2: about Cody doing something underhanded. Yes, like we know he's
- 47:21Speaker 2: going to.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Do yes, And it seems like Mary's starting to get
- 47:24Speaker 1: based huh, starting to get red pilled. I don't even
- 47:27Speaker 1: know what that means. I'm such a rummer, but she's
- 47:28Speaker 1: starting to see the light. Yeah, starting to face reality. Yeah,
- 47:32Speaker 1: like this is very shitty. You're in a shitty situation.
- 47:34Speaker 1: So we got to do something. We got to do
- 47:35Speaker 1: it now.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And she says something to Janelle like I can't
- 47:38Speaker 2: believe it's come to this, and it's like, yeah, well.
- 47:41Speaker 1: I mean Janelle told you at that time. It's been
- 47:43Speaker 1: probably a year ago that Janelle told you that this
- 47:45Speaker 1: is what was happening, and she saw it. But you
- 47:47Speaker 1: don't want to hear anybody except yourself because your walls are.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Up yet all the time. And we have Christina and
- 47:52Speaker 2: David at the Airbnb.
- 47:54Speaker 1: And I'm a snory.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Nobody cares. That's great, you have an Airbnb. Bye. And
- 48:00Speaker 2: then we have Cody and Robin doing some stupid picnic
- 48:03Speaker 2: at Coyote Pass. And this is where Cody, with his big,
- 48:06Speaker 2: dumb fat mouth, says, Oh, it's in this moment, I
- 48:10Speaker 2: don't really want to sell.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Actually, yeah, I love this place. Well, heads up, you
- 48:15Speaker 1: can be compelled to sell if you're on the property
- 48:19Speaker 1: with somebody else who's a legal owner and doesn't want
- 48:21Speaker 1: to own it anymore.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Yep.
- 48:23Speaker 1: So they're gonna take you to court and they're gonna
- 48:24Speaker 1: have to have a judge say it's time to sell this.
- 48:26Speaker 1: You got sixty days to sell it. And so Cody,
- 48:28Speaker 1: you can't do whatever the fuck you want to do
- 48:30Speaker 1: just because you're the one saying it.
- 48:32Speaker 2: And then you want to shit on the ex wives
- 48:34Speaker 2: for nagging you because their names are tied to this.
- 48:37Speaker 1: It's emotional game. I think he loves it. He knows
- 48:40Speaker 1: that they're mad, he knows that they're stringing him along.
- 48:44Speaker 1: I think he loves being in that position.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Oh with those women, because that's how he gets his power. Yep.
- 48:50Speaker 2: He loves to be the one holding all of the cards,
- 48:52Speaker 2: and he says that in this episode, I forgot oh
- 48:54Speaker 2: my god, when he's like, the women left me with
- 48:56Speaker 2: the bag. Yeah, and now I've got to figure out
- 48:58Speaker 2: what to do with it. And he tries to push
- 49:00Speaker 2: it off on everybody else, like, oh, you guys, deal
- 49:02Speaker 2: with the paperwork if you're in such a hurry.
- 49:04Speaker 1: But yeah, and Mary's like, I said, I can help.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I said I would do the things, I would talk
- 49:09Speaker 1: to the people, I would handle the paperwork. But it's crickets.
- 49:13Speaker 1: There's no response. It's all everything. He says, it's a lie.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't wait for next week. If all the episodes,
- 49:20Speaker 2: the rest of them in this season, which are probably
- 49:22Speaker 2: gonna be twenty six episodes, like.
- 49:24Speaker 1: I said, no, because they released the little blurbs for
- 49:28Speaker 1: each episode the next three episodes. Yeah, so that takes
- 49:32Speaker 1: us into episode twenty so eighteen nineteen twenty yep. So
- 49:36Speaker 1: if somebody said there's twenty six episodes, that still seems
- 49:39Speaker 1: pretty long to me. Crazy, but it's definitely a very
- 49:42Speaker 1: long season. But if it's gonna be these types of episodes.
- 49:45Speaker 2: I'm down. I'm down to I mean, this is so
- 49:47Speaker 2: much better than Christine's wedding.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Getting into the legalese and into the money of it
- 49:51Speaker 1: all is where I want to be.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Give it to me.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Well, is there anything else that we should be saying
- 49:58Speaker 1: to these beautiful raccoons before we get up on out
- 50:00Speaker 1: of here?
