- 10:58Speaker 3: I will was the blu Genus worth it? I don't know,
- 11:01Speaker 3: you'll find out.
- 11:03Speaker 2: That's right next. I'd luck a spot of tea and
- 11:06Speaker 2: a crumpet please. Good morning, Toby and Chilly. In the morning.
- 11:10Speaker 2: It's ninety seven point one Washcha FM. My voice keeps

- 11:21Speaker 2: us that you were going to a high tea over
- 11:25Speaker 2: the weekend, and now it's time for you to spill
- 11:27Speaker 2: said tea on the tea. Was it everything you wanted? More?
- 11:31Speaker 3: No, it was nothing that I wanted. What so high tea.
- 11:35Speaker 3: In case you don't know, some of these fancy pants
- 11:37Speaker 3: restaurants will charge a lot of money for you to
- 11:41Speaker 3: go for an afternoon heavy snack, right, and it's usually
- 11:45Speaker 3: like little Finger sandwiches and some scones and little treats,
- 11:49Speaker 3: and it's a lovely atmosphere. I this is my third
- 11:52Speaker 3: experience with it, and it was for a special occasion
- 11:55Speaker 3: for a family member, and it's always a letdown for me.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Like when you were telling me about it before
- 12:00Speaker 2: we started the show, you had the dejected chili look
- 12:04Speaker 2: like it's frustrated, disappointed, dejected.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It just I don't think the sandwiches taste as good
- 12:09Speaker 3: as i'd like them too, even though they are only
- 12:11Speaker 3: two bites of piece.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:13Speaker 3: The sweets were okay, But I think really, at the
- 12:16Speaker 3: end of the day, you're paying for the experience, and
- 12:20Speaker 3: to me, the experience isn't worth the price tag for me,
- 12:24Speaker 3: not even.
- 12:25Speaker 2: The people watching well, yoh.
- 12:27Speaker 3: God, no, I could people watch for free at an
- 12:29Speaker 3: airport or anywhere else if I want it.
- 12:31Speaker 2: True story. Hotel lobbies are typically free to hang.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Out exactly, so obviously if somebody else chooses it to
- 12:38Speaker 3: celebrate something, I will go along to get along. But
- 12:42Speaker 3: it's a little too bougie maybe for me. I don't.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I don't get it. I just it ain't my jam.
- 12:49Speaker 2: No high tea. If for you, no, it's not your
- 12:52Speaker 2: jam on those crumpets.
- 12:54Speaker 3: No, absolutely not. Sorry, well I'll take a hard pass.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Well the numbers eight six six, nineteen seven, forty three
- 13:02Speaker 2: sixty one. You can also tap the talk back microphone
- 13:05Speaker 2: and send us a voice note if you've been to
- 13:07Speaker 2: a better tea than the tea that Chili just described
- 13:10Speaker 2: to you. Because maybe we'll all meet up together one
- 13:13Speaker 2: day and have some tea and hopefully it won't be
- 13:16Speaker 2: as disappointing as Chilly's left doown was. It's ninety seven
- 13:19Speaker 2: point one was CHEFM with Toby and Chilly in the morning.
- 13:22Speaker 2: We always love to hear from you, and we need
- 13:24Speaker 2: you to hang out because in just minutes.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I don't know if you miss this or not, but
- 13:27Speaker 3: a week ago a local father son duo won one
- 13:30Speaker 3: point two million dollars on a game show, which got
- 13:33Speaker 3: us wondering, what game show do you think you could
- 13:36Speaker 3: kick butt in?
- 13:37Speaker 2: We just told you the numbers to the place. Give
- 13:39Speaker 2: us a call join the conversation this Monday morning. The
- 13:43Speaker 2: story you might have seen from right here in the
- 13:45Speaker 2: DMB about a father and a son and a game
- 13:48Speaker 2: show and a big win, and it got us thinking
- 13:51Speaker 2: about game shows and what game show you would do
- 13:54Speaker 2: really really well on with Toby and Chilly in the morning.
- 13:56Speaker 2: It's ninety seven point one was CHEFM now here is
- 13:59Speaker 2: the backstorre.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Yeah, so it was a father son duo I think
- 14:02Speaker 3: from Prince William County and they won one point six
- 14:05Speaker 3: million dollars on the game show called The Wall. It
- 14:08Speaker 3: aired last week. They had taped it a few months ago.
- 14:11Speaker 3: The only game show that comes to mind that I
- 14:13Speaker 3: may do well in is a Wheel of Fortune, because
- 14:16Speaker 3: I'm pretty good at solving those puzzles and guessing the
- 14:19Speaker 3: different vowels and constant What about you, what game show
- 14:22Speaker 3: do you think you would do well?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Trivial pursuit. Oh, I'm fascinated by so many random things,
- 14:28Speaker 2: and I'm constantly learning, even if it's pointless knowledge. And
- 14:33Speaker 2: I've played the game with friends and family in the past,
- 14:36Speaker 2: and I've done well, and I know that I would
- 14:38Speaker 2: do well if LeVar Burton she was asking me those
- 14:40Speaker 2: questions and I was on that game show, Bring on
- 14:43Speaker 2: Trivial Pursuit, I'd win big and I'd take us all
- 14:45Speaker 2: on vacation.
- 14:45Speaker 3: That's funny because you're like, if I do well on
- 14:47Speaker 3: the board game, I'll do well on the actual game show.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Well, that would make sense, I think, Yeah. I think
- 14:52Speaker 2: Gate sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one.
- 14:55Speaker 2: He's been hanging on the line to talk to us
- 14:57Speaker 2: because he loves some game show as I see, Randy,

- 15:03Speaker 2: Game show? Do you think you would do well on?

- 15:07Speaker 4: I think I would do really well on the Weakest Link.
- 15:10Speaker 2: The weakest Link.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Now, why do you think that?
- 15:13Speaker 4: I know a fair amount about trivia and I would
- 15:15Speaker 4: just lay low enough not to get voted off, and
- 15:18Speaker 4: that's how you win that one.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I know just enough about the Weakest Link that I
- 15:22Speaker 2: would probably end up hearing.
- 15:23Speaker 5: This you are the weakest link.

- 21:16Speaker 2: there are two sisters who have turned their love of
- 21:19Speaker 2: nature and science into something that helps the entire community.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Their names are Sufiana and Idina Johnson, and they were
- 21:27Speaker 3: both interested in stem and caring for the environment. And
- 21:30Speaker 3: they noticed something really exciting, and that was that a
- 21:33Speaker 3: lot of people wanted to welcome wildlife into their yards,
- 21:35Speaker 3: but they didn't always know what kind of plants they
- 21:38Speaker 3: should get to help make that happen.
- 21:40Speaker 2: And so they created an app. No, they did. They
- 21:44Speaker 2: went and they made an app called Maryland Native Plant Search,
- 21:47Speaker 2: which shows people local plants that attract butterflies or birds
- 21:51Speaker 2: or pollinators negative wildlife, and which ones help keep the
- 21:56Speaker 2: insects like mosquitos in such a way. Learned a code
- 22:00Speaker 2: to make this app, and Adna's her sister, she built
- 22:04Speaker 2: the planted database. And then the project is just grow
- 22:07Speaker 2: into something bigger than a school idea.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of conservation groups, local environmental organizations, and
- 22:12Speaker 3: even wildlife supporters. They started recognizing the sisters for what
- 22:17Speaker 3: they had built, and along the way, they also added
- 22:19Speaker 3: some helpful new features, like information about Maryland trees and
- 22:23Speaker 3: also tips for planting and caring for them.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Look, when passion projects become something that brings people together
- 22:30Speaker 2: to make life and being outdoors, livelier and more healthy.
- 22:36Speaker 2: That is something that just feels not just good, but awesome.
- 22:40Speaker 2: So to these sisters, Sofiana and Adina, thank you for
- 22:44Speaker 2: the app and thank you for a story that absolutely

- 27:29Speaker 2: Most of the birds I know like bird feeders, bird
- 27:32Speaker 2: seed and stuff. But spring will be here soon enough,
