  Speaker 1: and I was up and down from two thousand and

  Speaker 1: I finally got some planet in two thousand one. Um.

  Speaker 1: And we were working out at a gym. UM that

  Speaker 1: was inside a place called Passeo which is in Pasadena.

  Speaker 1: And UM, I didn't go to work out there. It

  Speaker 1: was my ex wife at the time. She goes to

  Speaker 1: work out UM there in the morning and she comes

  Speaker 1: back after the workout and she goes, You're never going

  Speaker 1: to believe who I saw down um working out And

  Speaker 1: I'm like who. She goes, I saw Jocket? Like what

  Speaker 1: did he look like? He's like, she give his number,

  Speaker 1: da Dadash, he knew who you were this and that,

  Speaker 1: and I look, I'm like, it's Mike Smith. You didn't

  Speaker 1: say hi? She goes, well, yeah, I said hi, And

  Speaker 1: she she said that I knew that my husband's a fan,

  Speaker 1: maybe he wants to meet you. So the next day

  Speaker 1: I go down and I end up meeting them. Um,

  Speaker 1: and he's like, hey, why don't you come in the

  Speaker 1: track this Saturday, And I'm telling him, Hey, I got

  Speaker 1: a day game. Um, I can't. Um, maybe I'll come

  Speaker 1: on another day when I have a night game. And

  Speaker 1: it was really hard to go to the race track.

  Speaker 1: You either had to go on a Monday or Thursday.

  Speaker 1: Those are your only really days off. So you can

  Speaker 1: go on a Thursday. So he goes, well, why don't

  Speaker 1: we go do some dinner like kind of Tuesday night

  Speaker 1: or I had a day off. So I'm like, okay,

  Speaker 1: no worries. So we go out dinner and we're getting

  Speaker 1: pretty deep into the dinner and we're having a couple

  Speaker 1: of pops here and there, and um. We go home

  Speaker 1: that night and that's that. So I get up in

  Speaker 1: the morning and my wife comes back and there's a

  Speaker 1: thing on our door that we got like a major

  Speaker 1: complaints and we gotta go see the super of the building.

  Speaker 1: So I'm like, what is going on here? So I

  Speaker 1: have to go downstairs and it's like one thirty and

  Speaker 1: I gotta be at the ballpark. And like I'm leaving

  Speaker 1: it too. And this guy's explaining to me. It's like, hey, um,

  Speaker 1: we've been having problems and issues with you, um late
• 36:27
  Speaker 1: at night and saying, you guys have been fighting and
• 36:30
  Speaker 1: having music and parties. I'm like, what are you talking about.

  Speaker 1: I'm getting home from the baseball game and eleven and
• 36:35
  Speaker 1: going to bed. I don't know what's going on. Um.
• 36:40
  Speaker 1: So he goes, well, we're just getting complaints and I'm like, okay, well,

  Speaker 1: I like to know. Can you tell us who we're
• 36:46
  Speaker 1: getting to play from? He said it's from a Dina
• 36:48
  Speaker 1: seeing a Franco. And I'm like, Dina seeing a Franco? Okay,
• 36:52
  Speaker 1: all right, what's going on with that? Whatever? So now
• 36:55
  Speaker 1: we go out to dinner again and I start putting
• 36:58
  Speaker 1: two and two together and I'm holy cow, Mike's girlfriend

  Speaker 1: is Dina? Wait? Is that real? So I'm like, now
• 37:08
  Speaker 1: I'm not trying, like what's going on here? So we
• 37:11
  Speaker 1: go back out to dinner and we get drunk again.
• 37:13
  Speaker 1: So then I tell X Life we gotta dropped the question.
• 37:15
  Speaker 1: Now where do you guys live? And they're like, oh,
• 37:18
  Speaker 1: we live in Paso. I'm like, yeah, we're in three
• 37:21
  Speaker 1: one and Dina goes she hit her head. She goes,

  Speaker 1: oh my god, we're in two twenty one. We're the
• 37:27
  Speaker 1: ones that reported you and try to get you evicted.
• 37:30
  Speaker 1: I'm like, you guys, shouldn't get me evicted. And he's like, dude,
• 37:33
  Speaker 1: you're coming home late at night celebrating after you win.
• 37:37
  Speaker 1: I'm like, Mike, what are you talking about? Because I

  Speaker 1: gotta get up at four o'clock in the morning and
• 37:40
  Speaker 1: work these horses, and you're waking me up every night.
• 37:43
  Speaker 1: So then it turned in I'm like, you've got to
• 37:45
  Speaker 1: be kidding me. Almost got me evicted out of the place,
• 37:48
  Speaker 1: and then after we ended up knowing that, we started dying, laughing,
• 37:51
  Speaker 1: having friends. And then when I would come home after
• 37:54
  Speaker 1: a big win and he couldn't sleep, he would bring
• 37:55
  Speaker 1: up bottles of wine and we didn't end up drinking,
• 37:58
  Speaker 1: and that turned in to him about two weeks later

  Speaker 1: or after we became friends, like four years later, excuse me,
• 38:07
  Speaker 1: two weeks later, he gave me a horse one page
• 38:10
  Speaker 1: eight to one, and then he gave me Jacomo four
• 38:12
  Speaker 1: years later to break his maiden at six to one,
• 38:15
  Speaker 1: and then obviously the eighty thousand dollar story. So that's
• 38:17
  Speaker 1: how that's how we that's how we truly met. And

  Speaker 1: it was like he got almost tried to get us

  Speaker 1: evicted from the building. You had a Hall of Fame,

  Speaker 1: triple crown winning jockey. You try to get you because

  Speaker 1: you're too damn loud. Hey, listen, man, I had a

  Speaker 1: big home run against Randy. I was getting a little excited. Alright.
