Transcript
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: If you felt lonely, isolated, disconnected, with an empty feeling inside and just yearning for more, knowing something is missing, then this podcast is for you.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: So here's your host, Joe Mittigga.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Hello and welcome to We.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: My name is Joe Mittig, and I'm the host of the Wii podcast.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: Have you ever felt like your life was beginning to lead you in a direction, but you were afraid to trust where it was taking you?
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Maybe the things you once wanted no longer feel as important.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: The dreams you spent years chasing don't excite you the way they used to.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: And something deep inside you keeps telling you that there's more to life than the one thing you've been living.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: That's where I find myself today.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: For much of my life I looked outside myself for direction.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: I believed the world knew what success looked like, what happiness should feel like, and what I needed to accomplish to have a meaningful life.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: But as I continued healing emotionally and growing spiritually, something has begun to change.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: I'm beginning to understand that my higher power may be guiding me towards a life I never could have imagined for myself.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: And it's exciting, though, to be honest, sometimes it's pretty scary too.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Because trusting my higher power means learning to trust the person I'm becoming, even when I don't understand where I'm going.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I'm discovering that my purpose isn't necessarily something I have to go out into the world and find.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Maybe, just maybe, my purpose is something that begins to reveal itself as I heal, let go of my fears, and learn to listen to the guidance coming from within me.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: And maybe that's true for you too.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: What if the changes you're experiencing aren't signs that you're losing your direction?
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: What if there are signs that you're finally beginning to discover it?
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Today we're going to explore why following our calling can feel so frightening, how our fears can keep us attached to a life we've outgrown, and how learning to trust our higher power can help us discover our true purpose.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Because I'm beginning to believe that when we become the people we were created to be, we discover that our lives were never meant to be just for ourselves.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: They were meant to make a difference in the lives of others too.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: And perhaps, just perhaps, that's how collectively the me becomes the we.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: My name is Joe Mittig, and this is we.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Welcome everybody.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the We podcast from around the world.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: It's an amazing night here in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: It's football season in Georgia and in the U.S.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: And if you're a college football fan, some of you are super excited, some of you are not so happy, a lot of upsets today.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: And it's interesting because I really don't watch TV.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: And I had family in town a couple weeks, oh, last week actually, and they fixed a TV upstairs in a living room I kind of have in my upstairs.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: And there was a football game on today, and my son's actually playing baseball, so I wasn't able to hang with him, and I watched it.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: And I should literally record myself because anybody that thinks that the man, the guy named Joe, isn't human in any way, shape, or form.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: You want to hear my humanity?
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: You should hear me cussing and screaming at the television.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Because you know what?
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: I just expect better.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Now, not that I can do it.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Now, my son could do it, I can't do it.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: But it is absolutely unbelievable.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: It is such an opposite, and that's why I love being on this podcast right now, because truly, when I'm on the podcast, it's something channeling through me.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: It's just my divinity channeling through, and I'm pretty practiced at that.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: But if you could have heard me literally six hours ago, and all the cussing and the screaming and the shaming and the blaming and the frustration and the how can you do that and the name calling and all of the crazy that life allows us to live.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: And thank goodness I'm with just myself.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: My youngest son went with his mother today.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: So I get to sometimes just scream and holler, knowing it's all in fun, knowing I literally don't mean any of it, but it's just an amazing opposite, quite honestly, of the sacred silence that I have been diligently participating in now since the beginning of August.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: So we're in, oh, probably the 10th week now, I think.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: And the great news is with that sacred silence, and I'm encouraging everybody to do that.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: And what is silence?
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Silence is just when you take some time for yourself, you sit with no external stimulus, and you observe your voices, and you listen for a softer voice.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: You listen for a grander voice.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And it's in the hearing of that grander voice that over time we're going to teach you how to be guided by that voice.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: And that's what a lot of these next six or seven episodes are going to be about the shift and the growing from different levels of consciousness and different styles of guidance systems, internal guidance systems.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: And I'm asking everybody here at the We Podcast to start that process.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I would never ask anybody and ever share with anybody anything I haven't already done.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: You know, this podcast is about Joe sharing his experience, strength, and hope.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: That's all I have.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: And I say to people, you know, if I can do five or six hours a day, you can certainly start for five or six minutes.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: And any of you that started with me two months ago, by now, if your time allows, now I get it.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm a single dad.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: My business partner has run my business for many years.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: I have the time, literally.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: I am blessed with the time.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: So I know most people don't have the time to do five hours of silence, but I do.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: And I only share it because I say it all the time with everything.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: If I can, you can.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: And I will tell you, over these past 10 weeks, in that silence, I work big puzzles and I'm about 7,000 pieces now finished of a 14,000-piece puzzle.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: It's a big Disney puzzle where there's 10 Disney scenes.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: I finished Bambi first, the first 4,000.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: Now I'm working on Beauty and the Beast.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: And when it's all done, the puzzle will be about seven feet tall and 22 feet long.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: And it's 44,000 pieces.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: And I will make sure it's online for everybody to see.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: Years ago, I did an 18,000-piece puzzle.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: And when I opened that 18,000-piece puzzle, I didn't know that the bag separated it per section.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: So I opened four bags, dumped them into a pile, and started sorting.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: So I tripled my effort basically with that 18,000-piece puzzle.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: But it's a beautiful African scene.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: And I did that right after my past wife and I went our separate ways.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: It was my sacred silence, so Joe could heal.
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: Well, I've been doing it again, and I'm happy to say, you know, things have been doing well for me.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: And I've come through a lot of awareness.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: I went through some emotional growth.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: I felt some really deep what about me.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: You know, when you're with you and only you, if there's ever going to be a deep emotional what about me type of feeling, that's when it's going to come up.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: When you're in your alone time, when you're in your silence.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: Well, I live there most of the time.
- 8:43SPEAKER_01: And most of the time I don't feel it.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: But these I have these past six or seven weeks.
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: And I say that a lot of the times it's interesting because where I have no place to truly celebrate my successes.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: And you know, it's great.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: You can have all this amazing success, internal, external, but if you have no one to share it with, sometimes there's a human loss to it.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: There just is.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: And that's not a bad thing, it's just the factual thing.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: It's kind of like the whole metaphor: if a tree falls in the woods and no one sees it, does it make sound?
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: How would you know if no one saw it?
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: You know, you assume it does, but did it?
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: You didn't see it.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: Well, a lot of times that's the life I live from the human side.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: From the spiritual side, the experience of expansion has been truly amazing, I have to say.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: And this podcast has given me such an amazing outlet because as the podcast keeps expanding around the globe, literally, and the ratings, as I keep saying, are my indicators that more and more of us are coming together.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: We are doing something here that is truly amazing.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: And it's not me.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: You should have heard me screaming.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: It's the divinity in me, and it's the divinity in you that keeps bringing you back.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: And I say it all the time.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: The only way you could possibly make it through one of my podcasts is that you're an absolute spiritual warrior.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: I know you are, and you know who you are too.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: And I welcome you, I honor you.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: I am so glad you're here because every time we get together, we change the world.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: We are vibrationally shifting and changing things literally on the globe.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: And I believe it wholeheartedly, I do.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: And this whole idea of healing humanity and the generation of change and all of that, that's a real life thing.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: And I've got literal observations to prove it and to share it.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: And that's why this whole idea of trusting ourselves, and it can be so scary.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: Well, why is that?
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Because for most of us, 99.9% of us, how we trusted if things were happening in a correct way is we looked at our external world and we see success, bank account, relationships working, peaceful life, career moving, kids doing okay.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: And we're saying then our external is good, which means we're good.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: And forever that worked.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: But you know what, folks?
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: It doesn't work anymore.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Because humanity is waking up.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Waking up to what, Joe?
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: What the heck do you keep saying waking up to?
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: Humanity is waking up to the feminine side of itself.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: Literally, the veil, the spiritual veil between your humanity and your divinity is getting thinner and thinner and thinner.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: Consciousness is changing, consciousness is developing, consciousness is becoming grander around the globe.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: Literally.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: I always give the example.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: 200 years ago, here in the States, owning a human, perfectly normal.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: 200 years ago, the consciousness, think about how dead, think about how disconnected, think about how completely devoid consciousness had to have been to own a human and make it okay.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: Literally believed it was okay.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: Well, fast forward 200 years, all sorts of changes, all sorts of conscious awareness, all sorts of awakenings, all sorts of internal communion happening.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: That's why polls have said that 67%, if not more, of people on any type of conscious path consider themselves more spiritual than religious.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: Is that good or bad?
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: No, it's just the facts.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: Does that make one better or worse?
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: It just means people are on different paths.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: And quite honestly, for millennia, the religious world has been validated by external leaders and shown billions of people a prosperous life.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: Well, I ain't one of them.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: Some of my closest, dearest, most loving people in my life are devout Christians, devout Catholics.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: I honor them and they honor me.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: And I honor all of you, whatever your religion is.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: And I'm sharing my experience, strength, and hope.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: I did not gain a spiritual understanding through the pews of a church.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: I didn't.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: That's not what happened for Joe.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: I did not and I do not gain a spiritual sense of okeness by reading the Bible.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: That's not my path.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: I know numerous people that on a daily basis they read the Bible and they love it.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: And I honor you.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: That's not Joe.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: And why do I keep saying it like that?
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: Because here at the We Podcast, there's no right or wrong.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: I think it's fantastic.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: I will ask you quite honestly, if you're a Christian, are you following your Christian ways?
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: If you're a Catholic, are you following your Catholic ways?
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: I'm going to challenge you on that.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: Just like if you're on a spiritual path.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: Are you learning, growing, shifting, changing, emoting?
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: Are you getting becoming more in communion with your higher power?
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: That's what the We podcast is all about.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: The teaching of the how to do it, how to literally do the communing with a power greater than yourself.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: And that's why what we talk about here all the time.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: And for me, since I was never pursuing a higher power, I was never pursuing a relationship with a God ever.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: Zero.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: Not at all.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: It wasn't what I was trying to do.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: After my memories of being sexually abused, all I wanted to do was stop hurting.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: And the seven years of darkness that I lived,$3,000 a year I lived on, folks.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: $3,000 a year in the 90s was dark.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: It was hard.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: I went from completely unconscious to coming out the other side in a very, in a much, much grander place.
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: And a lot of what we're going to talk about today, because I'm writing, I'm putting the outline together for a book called Divinity.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: I've got two other books that'll be coming out over the next year.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: My book, Filling the Void, is available now on my website, joemidiga.com.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: Soon Filling the Void will be on Amazon.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: You can purchase it if you choose.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: On my website, joemitiga.com, you'll be able to, you'll be able to get on our list and download it for free.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: In the future, this whole free thing, you know what?
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: I want it to be free.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: With a filling the void is going to be free.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: In the future, other books, however, it gets out to people, it's going to.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: And but I'm putting an outline together for a book called Divinity.
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: And that's probably either going to be my fourth or fifth book that I put out there.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: And as I come up with different types of perspectives, conscious shifts, and I can put it in the order of progression, I like to talk about it.
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: It's chapters of a future book.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: And divinity is basically how we live in communion with a power greater than ourselves.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: And why I believe so many people are already doing it and we don't even know.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: Well, that's part of what we're going to talk about today.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: And basically the development stages of our guidance system, how we're on a spiritual path.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: And I believe, I believe, your higher purpose basically is to become consciously aware of a grander you.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: Is there an end to that?
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: No, I don't think so.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: I always say, unless you're walking on water, one guy did.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: Unless you're walking on water, you're probably still growing.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: There's one guy, you know, Jesus, the name Jesus.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: Were there others?
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: I don't know of others.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: So I always just bring up the one man.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: And I will always say, if you believe today is October the 17th, 2026, you know why that date is the day?
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: Because of one guy, Jesus, BC, AD.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: So regardless of your religion, it's fine.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: That was a really special guy.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: He was pure divinity, human form, pure consciousness of divinity.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: No humanity in his consciousness, no ego in his consciousness, pure divinity.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: How do I know?
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: Because he did walk on water.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: The rest of us, we're development, we're in development stage.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: We're in growth and the process of growth.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: And the development stages of that start in completely unconscious.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: People that don't even know, they don't even know.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: And then you move into the to an awakening that says you can have conscious thought.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: You speak on a Tuesday, you don't know it.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: On a Thursday, you understand you can hear your own thoughts for the first time.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: After conscious awareness of our thoughts, then we start identifying the different thoughts and we start becoming aware that so many of our thoughts are glass empty.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: And I've gone through that shame-based, fear-based voices.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: From there, we start to separate the difference between glass-empty voices and we try to be guided by our glass full voices.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: Because glass-empty voices are created from wound and project and pursue fear-based guide.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: When you're being guided by a glass-empty voice, a hateful voice, I'm not good enough, you're not good enough.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: Always motivated by fear.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: 98% of the motivation is fear of not getting what I want or fear of losing what I have.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: Unconscious are conscious voices guided in fear.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Afraid of not getting what I want, fear of losing what I have.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: The next phase after that is we come from glass empty to glass full.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: We start identifying the voices that are grander, they're more all-inclusive, they're more of a place of fullness, they're more of a place of I think I can, all possibility.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: Those voices.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: And over time, we start discerning the voices.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: We start writing down the glass empties.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: It's a first step, and we go through the whole process of that.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: And every, every glass empty voice has a wound as its starting point.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: All of them.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: And that's where how we get rid of, heal the glass-empty voices, we get rid of them and heal the glass-empty voices by truly emoting and embracing the depths that cause the voice.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Today's episode isn't about that.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: We're just talking about the different guidance systems.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: As we start becoming aware of our glass full voices and we're being guided, we're listening, we're making decisions on Tuesday morning, more of the favorable voice inside of ourselves, then we start being guided by that part.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: And it's all great, but it's still all between your ears.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Glass empty, glass full.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: They're still all between your ears, the guidance system of your brain.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: Anything wrong with that?
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: No.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: It works for a bunch of people.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: I've got some examples right now of a whole world of people that are dominated by their brain and have hugely successful worlds and live at peace and love life.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: Anything wrong with that?
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: No.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: But I'm talking to the rest of us who are moving from our head to our heart, moving from our male side to our female side.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: The male side of self is your mind and your body, representative of your mind and your body, the female side of yourself, regardless of gender, regardless of color, regardless of where you live, regardless of anything, is your emotional and spiritual sense of self.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: And more and more of us are being guided.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: We're waking up to the feminine side of self.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: And in that feminine side of self is where your emotions and your spiritual essence live.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: So we start going from being just guided by our glassful voices to being guided by our emotions, what feels right.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: And feelings are great.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: The challenge is they are the most fragile guidance system you will ever have.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Because 98% of us have a tainted hurt mask over most of our feelings.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Because we still have wounds inside.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: Is it a good thing?
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: I've got stories I'm going to be sharing in future podcasts where I literally was following my heart for the first time in my life, and it led me right into a brick wall.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: After emotions, we start moving into the position of being guided by discernment.
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: Discernment is where all possibility becomes the possibility.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: We discern the greats and the not so goods.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: We discern the high and the low.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: We discern right and left.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: We discern the ever Everything, the black and the white, all sides of a situation.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: And then we discern the pros and the cons.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: And then if the pros outweigh the cons in discernment over time, we allow the behavior of decision to unfold over a few days instead of reactionary moments of the brain making decisions.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: We allow it to unfold.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: We discern.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: Well, that's a beautiful way to do it.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: The challenge with discernment is it's still more of a human position and it still integrates more brain than heart.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Is that a bad thing?
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: No, it feels right.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: And then your discerning is the feeling all inclusive.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Typically, it's not.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: Eventually, we move from discernment to knowings.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: And when you're guided by your knowings, your knowings are the highest guidance system that I personally experienced as a human.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: The knowings is an internal sense of completion prior to the event even happening, whatever the heck the event is.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: We just know the behavior we're doing is the right thing.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: Now, do we know what the outcome is going to be?
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: No, we never know what tomorrow's going to bring, ever.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: And the truth is, if you're not afraid of the emotional result of the outcome, there's no reason to be afraid to follow your knowings.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: Most people are afraid of the outcome, and they're not afraid of getting or not getting.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: They're afraid of the emotion of getting or not getting.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Well, eventually you reach a place where your emotions are pretty stable and pretty and pretty secure.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: So when you follow your knowings, you just know there's a sense of full and utter completion prior to the event.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: You just know it, whatever the it is.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: And then however the results turn out, they're typically favorable.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: Most of the time, they're favorable.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: And that knowings concept really integrates in the mental, the physical, the spiritual, and the emotional.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: All human, yes, but it's a powerful way to live.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: And quite honestly, until September the 20, 20, 20th, 2022, I thought following my knowings was the end all be all.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: And then literally, a random female, I hear her on a podcast, and she says that her only failure in life, and this is a multi-millionaire, hugely successful, launched her kids in college, and she said, My only failure in life is my divorce.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: And I, in that moment in time, after 25 years of silence, of my higher power says, screaming at the screen, the audio, you didn't fail your marriage.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: You chose to live your divinity over your humanity.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: And in that moment, September 20th, 2022, a whole book floods through me called Unequally Yoked.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: The concept of the last thing Jesus said, I have to go sit by my father.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: So my father can put the same spirit that guided me in all of you.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: When I heard that concept, that's where the concept of the we comes from: human self, higher self, inner self.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: Prior to September 20th, 2022, I'd never had any of that awareness.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: And that's where in that moment in time, my personal life started being guided by an essence of me beyond my humanity.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: And here we are today, four years later, literally.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: The We podcast is a development of that.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: So over these next episodes, I'm going to be talking about the different positions of consciousness and the different positions of growth.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: And I'm going to give you some different examples of unconscious behavior.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: I was reading my book, talk about weird.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: You know, with AI, they literally uploaded one of my episodes into this program.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: So they've got two hours of my voice in AI.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: And then they put my book with my voice.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: I'm literally listening to myself read my book to me.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: Weird is all I can tell you.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: It is bizarre.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: The highs, the lows, the inferences, the emotion, the it's bizarre.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: And as I'm reading the book, third chapter, I've got a I'm the one that has to approve it, right?
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: So I have to listen to the whole thing.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: In chapter three, it's called Living in Euphoria.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: Well, I forgot about that story.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: And I'm listening to it, and I was like, oh my gosh.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: It's right before my 30th birthday.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: My all of the stories I tell about in the basement and all of that story of my spiritual awakening with my alcohol happened after the story.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: So today I'm going to tell that story.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: And for those of you that are new, what I'm referencing is February 13th, I'm living in an unfinished basement.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: A buddy comes in and he says, Joe, you're never going to believe what these people want me to do.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: They want me to stop drinking.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: And I remember thinking, that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: It's one of my very first conscious thoughts.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: I was right before my 31st birthday.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: He says, Yeah, Joe, they want me to go to 90 meetings in 90 days.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: And that was his first exposure to AA.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: And I remember thinking, that's the stupidest thing I've ever done.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: Who would want to do that?
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: I hear myself for the first time.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: I say, When was the last time I went 30 days?
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: Let me caveat.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: Hey, folks, when was the last time you went 30 days without drinking?
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: I'm asking, this is a question literally to everybody on this podcast right now.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: When was the last time you went 30 days without drinking?
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: When was the last time you went 60?
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: When was the last time you went 90?
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: I'm asking.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: Because until somebody brought it to my awareness right before my 31st birthday, I'd never thought about it.
- 28:11SPEAKER_01: Well, if you're listening to this podcast and you're a drinker, I'm asking.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: Why do I get to ask?
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: Because I'm now coming up, I'm over 32 years sober.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: So I get to ask.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: And that whole idea, I made it seven days, seventh day.
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: My addiction's got me.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: I go, I'm a completely non-God guy, literally.
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: And in that moment, I stood up and I said, God, if I'm not supposed to drink or drug, I need your help.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: And a rush of energy comes through me.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: A tear comes out my left eye, and my compulsions for drugs and alcohol were gone.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: Completely burning bush removed.
- 28:52SPEAKER_01: 54 days later, I smoked a quarter of a marijuana cigarette.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: I had memories of being sexually abused.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: April the 15th, 1994 is when I remembered it happening 30 years earlier.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: My sobriety date is April the 16th.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: So for the new people, that's kind of the foundation of what I say.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: Then from April 16th forward, seven years of darkness.
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: To do what?
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: Heal.
- 29:18SPEAKER_01: All I wanted to do was stop hurting.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: And in today's story, in today's episode, though, what we're talking about is consciousness development, right?
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: The shifts and the changes.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: Because I believe personally the whole idea, the social norm of higher purpose, we're seeking our higher purpose and our passion in life and all that.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: I'm seeking my higher purpose.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: And what the heck does that mean?
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, Joe, I'm gonna go change the world.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna make a million dollars, or I'm gonna really why?
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: Like, how do you know that's your higher purpose?
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: The bottom line, influencers and books and all of that for millennia, for I mean for decades, have been talking about this higher purpose concept as if it's something you take an action step external, and then you're doing the it called higher purpose.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: No, that isn't what it is, folks.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: Your higher purpose, why you were born, if you're on this podcast.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: Now you have to understand, folks, 100 million downloads a month, that's the goal.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: I don't know where we are, but we are at a bunch.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: We're ranked in we're in the top 30 in Apple podcast and in US, literally number one in two or three countries.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: I want to welcome the countries here real quick: Canada, Norway, United Kingdom, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Malaysia, South Korea, China, Korea, Oman.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: And those are just the rank, the countries that rank top 100.
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: Half of those are number one.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: Because we have spiritual awaken, we have spiritual warriors around the globe.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: If you're on here, spiritual warrior, period.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: And that awakening process, when you're here, right?
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: That's what we're doing.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: That's the whole idea of two or more coming together.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: Two or more, me and you.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: You're hearing things here you probably aren't hearing other places except in your own heart.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: And the more I say it out loud and the more you connect to it, there's a communion happening in you.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: You're sitting there saying, Oh, I get it.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, man, that makes sense.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: Wow, I feel good.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: Wow, I like what this guy's got to say.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: How do I know those things are all happening for you?
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: Because people keep coming back.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: And that's the whole idea.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: That's the whole idea.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: Let my voice keep you company in your darkest times.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: Of course.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: Got 65 episodes now.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: Listen to episodes over and over.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: Find where you are on a dark day.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: Let my voice keep you company.
- 32:11SPEAKER_01: I promise you I know where you are.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: I promise you I can help you through that.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: Literally, no.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: All I can do is keep you company while you're there.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: And for the rest of us, you're in good spots.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: And I'm challenged the human norm a lot.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: What do I believe higher purpose is?
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: I believe your higher purpose is literally to live as the highest vibrational you that your path can grow into.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: You with you.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: Then what you do with the consciousness in which you obtain, that's up to you.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: The act of living your higher consciousness is not your higher purpose.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: That's the living of your higher purpose.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: Your higher purpose is truly just to become the grandest you.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: Well, how do you do that?
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: Through conscious growth.
- 33:01SPEAKER_01: Literally, that's how we do it.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: So, most of you, how do you know when your path started?
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: When was your first conscious thought?
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: When was it?
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: Stop right now, reflect, think about it.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: When was your first conscious thought?
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna tell you a bunch of this.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: I always say I'm open as intimate as I can.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: And when I was listening to myself tell this in a book, I kind of cringed.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna do the best I can to tell it honestly, this story.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: But they're hard.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: They are, it's embarrassing as crap to tell it.
- 33:35SPEAKER_01: So hang around here because I'm gonna share it.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: And through this whole time, this is prior to my 31st birthday, prior to the basement experience.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: None of this that I'm gonna be telling you about did I have conscious thought through.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm doing I have inner child work for three years, but did I really have conscious thought?
- 33:54SPEAKER_01: No.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: No.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: My first conscious thought was in and amongst that time, as late 20s, where I got pulled over for the second DUI.
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: I'd already been arrested and thrown in jail because of my stupid craziness.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: That's in the book, too.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: But and I realized, I said, the police officers, which of course I didn't call them that.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: I call them all sorts of ugly, hateful names.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: I'm not cussing, I'm doing pretty good.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: I would never, I love law enforcement, I love military, I love anybody that's in service, anything, any type of service, any type of service, paid service, volunteer service.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: I love all of you because I know everybody on here is in some type of service.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, I had this, they're not trying to get me to stop drinking, they're trying to get me to stop drinking and driving.
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, my very first conscious thought that I'm aware of.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: And four or five years before that, my oldest sister Jody came into my office and tried to get me to think, you know what I told her?
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: You take your psycho babble, blank, blank, blank, and get the heck out of my office.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: And I cussed a lot, and she basically cussed back, walked out.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: So that was my first conscious thought.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: Well, my second conscious thought was when I'm in that basement, and I said, hmm, wonder when the last time I went 90 days.
- 35:18SPEAKER_01: I was almost 31.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: I had to go back to my 14th birthday.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: I figured in my 14th, I probably didn't drink in for 90 days.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: 15th for sure I did.
- 35:28SPEAKER_01: Never had the thought.
- 35:29SPEAKER_01: That's why I'm saying, when's the last time you drank?
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: When was the last time you didn't drink?
- 35:33SPEAKER_01: And I get it.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: Today's football.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: It's a college football job.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: Jesus, you want me to drink and you want me to watch college football and not drink?
- 35:40SPEAKER_01: Yes, I do.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: I want you to watch college football.
- 35:44SPEAKER_01: Try it one time.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: Try once if you can do it, great.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: Try twice if you can do it, great.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: Try three or four times, and if you can do it, great.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: Then you have no issue with alcohol.
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: When you can't do it the second time, it's time.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: It's time.
- 36:00SPEAKER_01: Can I do anything more?
- 36:01SPEAKER_01: No, but I can ask the question.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: And so the whole idea of conscious growth and interest, and it's really cool.
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: I have to mention right here part of my growth and my silence was all about it's time for me to get out on stages, be live.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: I'm coming out to meet all of you.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: I'm going to shake every one of your hands and be out on stages, global stages.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: So I start reaching out to one place, and lo and behold, they call me back, interested.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: And it's a massive wellness slash addiction center type organization.
- 36:39SPEAKER_01: And I really hope that I'm 99% sure.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: And once I have a connect with them, I would be mentioning them right now because this particular organization, it's not focused on any single addiction, it's focused on all of them.
- 36:56SPEAKER_01: And that's what I want.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: I want to be able to share solutions with people.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: That's why I love this post, this thing, divorce post.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: As soon as I get my numbers, I'm going to officially ask those folks.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: I never have officially asked them if I can refer them divorce post.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: You know, if I had had a place like that when I got divorced, life would have been easier.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: It just would have been.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: And as I get permission from them to talk, I'm not affiliated.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: They don't even know me.
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: I don't even know them.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: I don't know anything about them.
- 37:27SPEAKER_01: I'm starting to get to know about their founder, which is fabulous.
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: I knew it, but I'm going to mention that website every website, every episode.
- 37:38SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: Because we're growing, folks.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: And the relationship you're in, you're either growing or going.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: And a lot of you are going.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: A lot of your relationships, you're outgrowing them.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: Well, that's not your fault.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: It's spiritual and emotional.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: And doesn't it just make sense if you have someplace you can go that makes that whole process in the in your human world simpler, more structured with support?
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: That's what this divorce post is.
- 38:07SPEAKER_01: Are you still gonna feel like feel a lot of pain?
- 38:10SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 38:11SPEAKER_01: Are you still gonna spiritually grow?
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 38:13SPEAKER_01: Are you spirit still gonna have a lot of grief?
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: They can't fix any of that, but they can support the process.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: When I get their permission, I'm gonna talk about them every episode.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: The We Podcast is an awareness podcast.
- 38:26SPEAKER_01: I'm seeking solutions.
- 38:29SPEAKER_01: So all of you, any of you that need solution, I'm telling you, if I tell you where to go and you end up going, I promise it'll be favorable for you.
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: And I do it because it feels right for me.
- 38:42SPEAKER_01: Is there income in that for me?
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: No.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: No.
- 38:46SPEAKER_01: Where does Joe make money eventually?
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: I have no idea.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: Not here, that's for sure.
- 38:51SPEAKER_01: And but that is why I do it.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: I do it because it feels good.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: It really does to be here.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: And this whole idea of purpose is it's living it, acting upon your higher purpose is some action step you then put out into the world from a higher vibrational you.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 39:15SPEAKER_01: But your purpose for living, your purpose for being born and then eventually dying is to become the grandest you can be.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: Hence the developments of conscious perspectives, which we're going to talk about here today.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: We're going to talk about the perspective of going from unconscious to conscious.
- 39:36SPEAKER_01: That's the one we're talking about today.
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: And I'm going to give you some examples of basic, normal, unconscious behaviors that people live and they don't even know they live it.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: They don't.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: And I want to make one other statement.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: I always want to say this when we talk about spirituality versus religious.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: I love it all.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: And hear me as clearly as I can make it.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: The We podcast is not about your eternal life.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: Religion is about the pursuit of an eternal life.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: Live it the way your religion says to live it now, and the reward is eternal life.
- 40:21SPEAKER_01: Folks, I don't have any idea about all that stuff.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: I honor where you are.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: I'm going to ask you, are you following?
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: Are you following what your religion's telling you to do?
- 40:30SPEAKER_01: I'm asking that question.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: Because if you're not, it's based out of fear, and the fear is a wound.
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: That's all.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: We're going to help you heal the wound so you can follow your religious beliefs more clearly.
- 40:41SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: And wonderful.
- 40:44SPEAKER_01: My question isn't about your eternal life.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: My question is about your tomorrow morning.
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: I'm helping, I'm trying to help people live a better Tuesday morning.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: And that's the distinction.
- 40:55SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: Well, I was listening to, I was listening, I get these clips, right?
- 41:04SPEAKER_01: So I go on to my LinkedIn page.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: Follow me, folks, by the way.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: Find me on LinkedIn and Instagram.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Look up my name, Joe Medica.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: You'll find me.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: Go to my website, joemitiga.com, download filling the void, and join the book club.
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: You know, we're creating a whole world for the we community to come into.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: And anyways, I was following, I listen, and this Instagram guy comes up, well-known podcaster, which I don't mention names here, but if I mention the name, you'd know stud.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: Just this handsome, handsome stud, mid-30s.
- 41:39SPEAKER_01: I don't know, just a stud, hugely popular podcast out there.
- 41:43SPEAKER_01: And he's got this guy on there, which I know the man's face.
- 41:47SPEAKER_01: I'm not exactly sure his name, but I know the industries.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: And he's like, you know, tomorrow didn't exist.
- 41:55SPEAKER_01: You just have to act like it doesn't exist.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: The only thing that matters, and he's talking with such passion and such direct and strength, and the only thing that matters is right now, six o'clock and forward.
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: I'm thinking to myself, he sounds so convincing.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: He sounds so convincing.
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: And I believe he can do it.
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Have you ever wondered why?
- 42:23SPEAKER_01: Have you ever wondered how and why a guy like that can do it?
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: And if I started telling you the industry he was in, the guy's worth millions.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: He's created a fabulous life for himself.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: And if I ever if I told you the industry he was in, and I'm not making fun of the guy in any way, shape, or form, but for the other 98% of the people out there that just can't not feel your yesterday or think about your yesterday, and your yesterday kind of gets in the way of your today, I'm honoring you.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 42:56SPEAKER_01: Because that's where 98% of the people are.
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: Well-known speakers out there right now, some of the most popular speakers, big, most of them big personality male speakers.
- 43:07SPEAKER_01: You just have to make a decision, and with that decision, you decide to move forward.
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yeah, no kidding, Dick Tracy.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: If people could do that, you know, all these big influencers of the past, they'd be broke.
- 43:22SPEAKER_01: Not a penny.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: Because if everybody could just do it, why would they go back for a second time?
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: Why would you have to listen to a motivational speaker a second time?
- 43:32SPEAKER_01: If you could just take the external, delusional, male-dominated mental action step of just do it.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: Another real famous podcaster out there.
- 43:43SPEAKER_01: You just need to get your backside off the couch.
- 43:45SPEAKER_01: This is a female, big, strong male energy.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: Just have to get off the couch.
- 43:49SPEAKER_01: I've started to calm a little bit.
- 43:52SPEAKER_01: If it was that easy, folks, everyone would do it.
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: Well, it isn't.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: But how do these people do it?
- 43:58SPEAKER_01: Have you ever wondered that?
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Because most of the time, what happens is you watch these people and you go, Wow, I'm just gonna forget about tomorrow and move forward.
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: And then Tuesday morning happens, and your tomorrow is pounding you down.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 44:10SPEAKER_01: You know the difference between you and them?
- 44:13SPEAKER_01: You are actually connected to your heart, they are actually disconnected completely from the feminine side of self.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: Hear what I just said.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: For the massive take a male-dominated external action step, regardless of what you feel, and everything will change.
- 44:38SPEAKER_01: That personality out there who has been able to accomplish what they're speaking, that's why they can talk about it with such passion.
- 44:47SPEAKER_01: Passion isn't connection, folks.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: Passion is belief.
- 44:51SPEAKER_01: These people literally believe it because they've done it.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: That isn't heart connect.
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: That's passion from belief system.
- 45:00SPEAKER_01: They believe it with all their heart.
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: What's the difference between them and everybody on this podcast?
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: They're disconnected from their hearts.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: They don't have an emotional communion with their emotional sense of self.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: They just don't.
- 45:16SPEAKER_01: Is that a bad thing?
- 45:17SPEAKER_01: No.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: But if you're on this podcast, you have an emotional connection to your heart.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: You have a conscious connection to your heart.
- 45:28SPEAKER_01: So can we help you move forward into your tomorrows and heal by healing your yesterday?
- 45:37SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's what the we, that's what the we podcast is all about.
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: That's my how-to.
- 45:43SPEAKER_01: Not deny it, act like it's not there, stuff it down and take action, anyways.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: And have you ever noticed that the people that you'll see, the influencers that you see, the the popular people that say that type of stuff, have you ever noticed they're saying it when they're on top of the world?
- 46:03SPEAKER_01: This particular guy's gotta be worth 200 or 300 million.
- 46:06SPEAKER_01: And I applaud his success.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: And I applaud his intellectual passion.
- 46:11SPEAKER_01: I believe that he believes it.
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: But I'm honoring all of you who can't do what they say.
- 46:18SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: Why can they?
- 46:21SPEAKER_01: Because they're disconnected from their feminine side of self.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: They're disconnected from their female side of self.
- 46:27SPEAKER_01: You're not.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: How do I know?
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: Because you're here.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: My entire podcast comes from the feminine side of me, the divinity, the feminine side of me.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: And you say to yourself, man, that is just so fantastic.
- 46:39SPEAKER_01: And because he, this particular guy said, Yeah, I got buddies that come up to me and say, Do you ever reflect on your yesterday?
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: He's like, blank, blank, blank, no.
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: No, it all got me here.
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: I don't reflect on anything of yesterday.
- 46:55SPEAKER_01: You know the problem with no reflection of your yesterday?
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: Anyone that doesn't reflect on their yesterday has no availability to discern if any of their action steps cross the boundaries of somebody else on their yesterday.
- 47:09SPEAKER_01: And if you can't reflect on your yesterday, that means you have zero capacity of remorse.
- 47:15SPEAKER_01: Zero capacity of remorse means you cannot say you're sorry.
- 47:19SPEAKER_01: If you cannot say you're sorry, that means you cannot be intimate with anybody.
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: If you can't be intimate with anybody, that means literally the experience called emotion of love is absent.
- 47:32SPEAKER_01: Period.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: Now, does that mean loving behavior steps of giving a nice birthday party and everybody celebrating and having a great life and going on another trip?
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: Are the behavior action steps of doing things he loves every day in his life?
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 47:51SPEAKER_01: But is that feeling love?
- 47:53SPEAKER_01: No, it's not.
- 47:56SPEAKER_01: That's enjoyment, and in the enjoyment of the action, he's loving the acting of the action step.
- 48:04SPEAKER_01: That's not love.
- 48:05SPEAKER_01: And let me say it again.
- 48:07SPEAKER_01: He was asked, literally, do you ever reflect on the past?
- 48:12SPEAKER_01: No.
- 48:12SPEAKER_01: Blank blank.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: He used the word F and then blank blank blank blank numerous times.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: No.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: That got me here.
- 48:20SPEAKER_01: I don't reflect at all on the past.
- 48:23SPEAKER_01: If you do not reflect, if you don't, if you can't reflect, that means you cannot feel remorse.
- 48:31SPEAKER_01: Why is remorse so important?
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: Remorse is the emotion, is the experience we have when we cross somebody's boundary.
- 48:39SPEAKER_01: We're going to cross people's boundaries, folks.
- 48:42SPEAKER_01: We are human.
- 48:44SPEAKER_01: And when you cross somebody's boundary, you make amends.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: If you're somebody, if you're around somebody who doesn't reflect of their past, that means they have no ability of remorse because remorse happens in the tomorrow.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: You take an action step on a Monday.
- 49:01SPEAKER_01: You're not doing it on purpose on the Monday, but on Tuesday, Wednesday, those of us that are in our hearts, we feel remorse for the action step we did on Monday.
- 49:09SPEAKER_01: If you don't reflect, that just means you're cut off from your Monday.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: On Tuesday and Wednesday, you're cut off from your Monday if you don't reflect.
- 49:16SPEAKER_01: So if you can't reflect, there's no ability of remorse.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: No ability of remorse means you can't say I'm sorry.
- 49:24SPEAKER_01: And if you can't say I'm sorry, it's impossible to build trust with another human, which is called intimacy.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: And if there's no trust and intimacy with another human, because he ain't walking on water, that's for sure.
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: So if there's no trust and intimacy, there's no love.
- 49:40SPEAKER_01: Period.
- 49:41SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: The foundation of love is trust.
- 49:46SPEAKER_01: No trust, no love.
- 49:48SPEAKER_01: No trust, no safety, no love.
- 49:51SPEAKER_01: It's all BS.
- 49:52SPEAKER_01: That's a fact.
- 49:54SPEAKER_01: So these humans that they are so passionate because they believe it.
- 49:59SPEAKER_01: And as you're listening, you're like, whoa, that's fantastic.
- 50:02SPEAKER_01: I'm watching this interviewer.
- 50:04SPEAKER_01: He's done 900 interviews.
- 50:05SPEAKER_01: This guy, I love this guy.
- 50:06SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna be on a show one of these days.
- 50:08SPEAKER_01: You'll see me.
- 50:09SPEAKER_01: And when I'm on, when I'm getting on these people's shows, I'll make sure all of you know you can watch me on these shows.
- 50:14SPEAKER_01: He's like shaking his head and doing the nod and doing the whole thing.
- 50:19SPEAKER_01: And I can only wait to be on a show.
- 50:21SPEAKER_01: Because basically, when I'm on a show, some of his most important high visible influencers, I'm gonna tell him a very different truth than he's ever heard.
- 50:34SPEAKER_01: And that's on a lot of these shows.
- 50:35SPEAKER_01: Wish me luck, folks, because that whole process is starting.
- 50:39SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna be on large podcasts here over between in 2000 and 27.
- 50:46SPEAKER_01: Is any of it right and wrong?
- 50:48SPEAKER_01: No.
- 50:49SPEAKER_01: But I want people to hear the other side, the rest of us, the part, the people that listen to that and say we're gonna do it, and then Tuesday morning bowls us over.
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: The other thing I want to talk about real quick is we as human beings, we have a right side of our brain and our left side of our brain.
- 51:10SPEAKER_01: The left sided brain people can do math really easy.
- 51:14SPEAKER_01: They memorize very easy.
- 51:16SPEAKER_01: Right-sided people, right-brained people, math is not your forte.
- 51:22SPEAKER_01: The mass, a mass percentage, not in totality, but a mass percentage of people on powerful spiritual paths are right-brained people.
- 51:36SPEAKER_01: You're creative, you're an explorer, you're inquisitive, you're a critical thinker, you like to search out answers, you're willing to emote, you're looking for deeper connection.
- 51:50SPEAKER_01: And you're the person in third grade that probably couldn't do math.
- 51:54SPEAKER_01: You're the person in the tenth grade that was terrified when you had to memorize a speech.
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: You're the person that when you play cards, you have to count on your fingers and your toes when you're looking to do the numbers.
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: And society unconsciously has made right-brained thinkers as less.
- 52:17SPEAKER_01: The quote unquote dumb jock, the blonde, the dumb blonde, all of those ridiculous, hateful adjectives that control freaks projected on right-brained people.
- 52:34SPEAKER_01: The deal is society is just clueless.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: They don't know that they don't know.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: And unfortunately, the majority of our school systems, and I get it, because the masses of people are left-brain.
- 52:48SPEAKER_01: One plus one plus one to a left-brained person is always three.
- 52:52SPEAKER_01: But to the creative mind, to the spiritual mind, to the expanded heart, one plus one can equal a triangle.
- 53:01SPEAKER_01: And one plus one plus, I mean, one plus one plus one can equal triangle.
- 53:04SPEAKER_01: That was my son Ryan.
- 53:06SPEAKER_01: And I learned all about this left brain, right brain learning.
- 53:11SPEAKER_01: Years ago, there was a woman in one of the businesses I had that she had an entire learning system for athletes because the typical athlete out there, they're in their bodies.
- 53:23SPEAKER_01: They're real creative, their brains are expansive, they sense everything around them.
- 53:30SPEAKER_01: They're in their expression every time they run, every time they jump, every time they hit a ball.
- 53:36SPEAKER_01: It's an expression.
- 53:38SPEAKER_01: And the whole idea of the dumb jock, it's garbage.
- 53:43SPEAKER_01: It doesn't exist, it's not true.
- 53:47SPEAKER_01: Society has failed these people, they have failed right brain thinkers.
- 53:53SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 53:54SPEAKER_01: Because society doesn't know how to educate a right brain thinker.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: My youngest son, Ryan, is a right brain thinker.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: And in the third grade, he could not read.
- 54:09SPEAKER_01: We learned.
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: Ryan in the third grade, Johnny has two apples, Susie has six.
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: How many apples?
- 54:18SPEAKER_01: Ryan was stuck at Johnny.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: So of course he was failing math.
- 54:23SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 54:24SPEAKER_01: Because the way a right brain thinker has to learn is to read out loud.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: And I say that to you.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: Whether anyone's ever told you that before, a lot of you on this podcast are right brain thinkers.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: You are creative.
- 54:39SPEAKER_01: Math is not going to be your forte.
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: Thank God for calculators.
- 54:43SPEAKER_01: Thank God for AI.
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: Thank God for fingers and toes.
- 54:47SPEAKER_01: And I want you to understand that it's because of your right-brained approach, that your capacity to emote is so intense.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Your capacity to be intuitive is so intense.
- 55:04SPEAKER_01: Your communion with a power greater than yourself is so intense.
- 55:08SPEAKER_01: And have you ever noticed that the people out there that have these big followings, not the meditators of the world, there's certain influencers out there that are very calm and loving, and they pursue life from meditation, and you calm the voices, and the solution is in meditation.
- 55:27SPEAKER_01: And I love that.
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: Is it good for the moment?
- 55:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 55:30SPEAKER_01: Does it heal anything?
- 55:32SPEAKER_01: No.
- 55:32SPEAKER_01: Calm the voices, sure.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: I'm not talking about those people.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about the people that literally live in the delusional ridiculousness that you can measure your brain waves, and in the measurement of your brain waves, we fix the measurement of your brain waves.
- 55:46SPEAKER_01: And if you fix the measurement of your brain waves, then your heart's gonna be okay.
- 55:51SPEAKER_01: Folks, that's just freaking false.
- 55:53SPEAKER_01: That's just not a true statement.
- 55:54SPEAKER_01: It's a zero statement.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: Now, I guarantee you, these people are fantastic in math.
- 56:00SPEAKER_01: I guarantee you they could memorize a they could memorize a speech really easy.
- 56:06SPEAKER_01: Am I making them wrong?
- 56:07SPEAKER_01: No.
- 56:08SPEAKER_01: But I'm validating the rest of us.
- 56:10SPEAKER_01: That's just not the case.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: It's not how it works.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: And every thought in your head, that's a glass empty thought, has a wound in your heart.
- 56:18SPEAKER_01: It just does.
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: Moving from completely unconscious to conscious is what I want to talk about now in more detail.
- 56:27SPEAKER_01: That gentleman who basically says, I don't think of anything of my past and only move forward.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: That's about as unconscious as you come.
- 56:38SPEAKER_01: This man's belief system is I don't think about the past because I only want to get things better.
- 56:44SPEAKER_01: I want to, I'm X, Y, Z age, and I just want to keep making my life better.
- 56:50SPEAKER_01: What is he describing as better?
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: And what is he describing as life?
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: What he's describing as life is his external world.
- 56:59SPEAKER_01: By definition, that's unconscious.
- 57:03SPEAKER_01: An unconscious human is the person who perceives and defines life as that in which they see instead of that in which they experience.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: That's unconscious.
- 57:27SPEAKER_01: And is that a bad thing?
- 57:29SPEAKER_01: No, of course not.
- 57:30SPEAKER_01: None of this is bad.
- 57:31SPEAKER_01: It's just what it is.
- 57:33SPEAKER_01: And that's where unconscious moving to conscious is when we start moving into the position of becoming aware.
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: We shift.
- 57:46SPEAKER_01: And can I explain hows and whys of consciousness?
- 57:50SPEAKER_01: No, no idea.
- 57:51SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 57:52SPEAKER_01: That's why when I learned all this, I just realized it's God's life, not mine.
- 57:56SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 57:57SPEAKER_01: We're on a spiritual path.
- 57:58SPEAKER_01: There's so much of the hows and the whys and the where's and the what's.
- 58:02SPEAKER_01: I have no idea.
- 58:04SPEAKER_01: But I can identify it as it's happening.
- 58:06SPEAKER_01: And if you're here, these things are happening to you all the time.
- 58:09SPEAKER_01: They are.
- 58:10SPEAKER_01: You wouldn't be here if you're not on a spiritual path.
- 58:12SPEAKER_01: You couldn't be.
- 58:12SPEAKER_01: You wouldn't make it.
- 58:14SPEAKER_01: Now give me another unconscious perspective.
- 58:17SPEAKER_01: I listen to music sometimes, and Elton John is just, he's a fabulous musician.
- 58:23SPEAKER_01: And there's some song I listen to, Don't Let the Sun Come Down on Me, or something like that.
- 58:29SPEAKER_01: He's playing this beautiful piano.
- 58:31SPEAKER_01: He's at this amazing, huge venue.
- 58:35SPEAKER_01: And right before he's getting ready to sing the song, you hear this young male voice say, We love you, Elton.
- 58:43SPEAKER_01: And Elton makes a joke.
- 58:45SPEAKER_01: Thank you, mom.
- 58:46SPEAKER_01: And he goes on to play this magical song.
- 58:48SPEAKER_01: And I was thinking about it.
- 58:50SPEAKER_01: I was thinking, music.
- 58:53SPEAKER_01: I use music when I grieve.
- 58:55SPEAKER_01: Amy Manford, beautiful soprano singer out of Australia when my father died back in January of this year.
- 59:04SPEAKER_01: I listen to her music over and over.
- 59:06SPEAKER_01: It just keeps my heart open.
- 59:09SPEAKER_01: And I love the music.
- 59:11SPEAKER_01: So if you think about it, think about how many people will go to a concert or will listen to music, and they're in the listening of the music, they're having such an amazing, pleasurable experience.
- 59:22SPEAKER_01: Their heart is opening because the music's opening their heart.
- 59:26SPEAKER_01: But instead of saying, I love the music, they'll say they love the musician.
- 59:33SPEAKER_01: How do you know you love the musician?
- 59:36SPEAKER_01: You don't even know the musician.
- 59:37SPEAKER_01: You don't even know the last name of the musician.
- 59:40SPEAKER_01: You don't even know the real name of the musician.
- 59:42SPEAKER_01: You certainly don't know how the musician treated his wife or his kids.
- 59:46SPEAKER_01: Now he might be a great person.
- 59:48SPEAKER_01: You've never spoken to the musician.
- 59:52SPEAKER_01: But because their music opens your heart, your brain says you love the human.
- 59:58SPEAKER_01: That's unconscious.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_01: I just heard a story, Wayne Dyer, fabulous human, passed away numerous years ago.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_01: You want to hear some spiritually awakened stuff.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_01: Wayne Dyer is fabulous.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_01: He tells a story about if you have an orange in your hand and you squeeze it, and he asked everybody, if you squeeze the orange, what's going to come out of the orange?
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_01: And everyone, of course, says, Well, orange, orange juice.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_01: He says, Why isn't it apple juice?
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_01: Why isn't it pineapple juice?
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_01: Why isn't it cherry juice?
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_01: He pauses.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_01: He says, Because I'm squeezing an orange.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_01: He says, humanity is like the orange.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_01: When you get triggered, when somebody says something you don't like, when your buttons get pushed, when somebody crosses your boundaries, when somebody challenges you, when life squeezes you, and you react angry, hateful, rageful, you literally believe that it's society that caused your anger, hurt, or sadness.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_01: When in reality, just like the orange, the emotions are in you.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_01: And when society squeezes you, his I'm paraphrasing his beautiful story, what's coming out of you is you.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_01: The unconscious person says, no, no, no, Joe, stop it.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_01: They said something I didn't like, so I yelled at them because it's their fault.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_01: No, they said something you don't like.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_01: You yelled at them because you acted out.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_01: Whatever they said pushed your button.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_01: That's why I give the technique.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_01: Listen for your bigness.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_01: Listen for your reactionary bigness.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_01: How do we stop all the anger?
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_01: How do we stop the fights?
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_01: How big men, how do we stop taking our rage out on our female partners?
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_01: We listen for our own bigness.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_01: And when we hear our bigness, instead of expressing it onto our partner, we step back.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_01: We write out the big voices.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_01: Men, remember, five minutes a day, five minutes a week, get a bat, get pictures you don't like.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_01: We're getting healthy anger out.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_01: For those of you that are new, I'm suggesting for men especially, because rage is most men's first emotion.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_01: Once a week, 15 minutes.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_01: I said five, let's get it to 15.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_01: Take a wiffle ball bet and pictures of people you don't like and let it rip.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_01: Let the anger come out.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_01: Say whatever you want.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_01: Get that moving, get the energy moving out of you.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_01: So then you stop taking it out on your wife.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_01: But she deserves it, Joe.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_01: No, she doesn't.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_01: No, I don't care what any human does, nobody deserves your rage.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_01: Period.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_01: Get your rage out in a healthy way.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_01: So just like the orange, when you get squeezed by society and anger, hate, grief, pain comes out.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: It's because the anger, grief, and pain was in you before society got a hold of you, literally.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_01: And that's what a conscious path is.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_01: Are we all going to act out?
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, of course we are.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_01: That's why the tenth step is so important.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_01: We make amends.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_01: But people that are conscious, the difference between unconscious and conscious, people that are conscious, a couple days later, if we cross somebody's boundary, we make amends.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_01: We say, I'm sorry.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_01: When we hear our bigness, when we feel our bigness, when we see our bigness, when we're reacting in a bigness and we stop ourselves, that's conscious.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_01: Now, different levels of conscious, then we write out the voices of our bigness, the bullet points of our bigness in a first step, and then we get into the emotional side because the bigness is in your head, the emotions are in your heart, the hurt is in your heart.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_01: All bigness is because there's a hurt in your heart.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_01: And that's how we get to the hurt and heart, dual hand journaling.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_01: The bigness, single hand, bullet hand journaling.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_01: That's the how to.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_01: Go from not acting out, which is unconscious.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_01: Stop yourself when you feel and see your bigness to the best of your ability.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Stop yourself.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_01: That's conscious.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_01: And then conscious discovery.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_01: Listen to your voices, write them out.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_01: Listen to the smaller voice, the inner child, dual hand journaling.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: How are you?
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_01: We get into our motions with the dual hand journaling.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_01: And it's in that process where we start moving from unconscious to conscious.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_01: Unconscious behaviors, we just don't know.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_01: Conscious behaviors is when we can start hearing our thoughts.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_01: Conscious development and spiritual growth and moving through the different phases of unconsciousness.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_01: The very first phase is you have to know you can hear your thoughts.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_01: And then the next part of that is then you'll start identifying how much of your thoughts are glass-empty thoughts, shame-based, hurt-based, hate-based voices.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_01: Most of them.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_01: And if those are the only thoughts in your head, that's the guidance system guiding your life.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_01: Now, for a lot of you on this podcast, they were never the only voices you had.
- 1:05:29SPEAKER_01: Never.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_01: Because even though you couldn't do third grade math, you were connected to your heart.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_01: Even though that 10th grade speech was brutal, you were connected to your intuition.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_01: And through your whole life, you could at least be kind and loving and caring and giving back, even if your own hurt acted out somehow.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_01: For a lot of you here, you've always been able to live a conscious life.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_01: What's a conscious life?
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_01: When you're loving someone else, even when you don't want to, when you're caring about somebody else, even when you don't want to.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_01: Why are we the generation of change?
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_01: Because you can give to the people around you that which was not given to you.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_01: You can tell somebody you love them even though no one told you.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_01: You can tell somebody you're proud of them, even though no one told you.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_01: And that's why we're the generation of change.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_01: We're raising an entire era of kids to become something very different.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_01: So one of my stories that is probably the most profound story I have that moved me from my mental to my emotional side of self is I was in my late 20s and I would shoot pool all over.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_01: And sometimes we were in normal bars, sometimes we were in strip clubs and whatever.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_01: And I, you know, the whole strip club world, it's just where my friends were.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, a lot of these girls, they had to pay their rent.
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_01: You know, they were good people.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_01: I don't suggest it.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_01: Talk about a cesspool.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_01: And I'm not condoning my behavior, but as unconscious as it gets.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_01: And I was very unconscious.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_01: I didn't know.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_01: And I was doing inner child work this whole time, but not the emotional side of inner child work, the mental side of inner child work.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_01: So I'm literally at a bar and I look across the room and I see this young girl, young girl.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_01: I'm 29.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_01: I believe she was 24 or something.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_01: She's five foot 10, long blonde hair down to her waist.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_01: And in the moment, I knew I loved her.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_01: Now she's a waitress, she wasn't a dancer.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_01: Now think about this.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_01: Think about the insanity.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_01: In a bar, drinking, of course, not that much, because I did have the let's stop driving and drinking.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_01: So I was smoking marijuana all the time.
- 1:07:59SPEAKER_01: So I'd literally go out to the car, smoke marijuana, come back in, drink a little bit.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_01: So I'm in a bar, hundreds of girls around, everybody drinking, shooting pool.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_01: I glance at this female, and in my heart of hearts, I knew I loved her.
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_01: And I ask a friend, she introduces me.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_01: That we'd get her introduced.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_01: The next time I was there, a couple times later, she taps this girl, taps me on the shoulder and asks me to sit in her section.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_01: I'm literally repeating the story, get my book, Filling the Void.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_01: I write all this out, third chapter.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_01: And within a week, we're living together.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_01: Literally.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_01: Within two weeks, two weeks or so, we just know it's we're match made in heaven.
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_01: Now, it was all perfect.
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_01: I was working, she was working, everything's great.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_01: Now, one of the bigger challenges was, and you know, everything was perfect with her, but she wasn't a marijuana smoker.
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_01: So, but you know, being the good, I'm gonna do it.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_01: I'm the good boyfriend, I'm gonna stop smoking.
- 1:09:03SPEAKER_01: Well, that lasted about three days.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_01: I never could stop.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_01: And so I start lying about it, of course.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_01: And then, and you know, just a small caveat that I always kind of want to just forget, oh, yeah, that's right.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_01: She was married at this time, literally during this whole time.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_01: Now, of course, we're in Atlanta and her husband was in California, so that didn't really matter, really, right?
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_01: Can you hear the constant insanity?
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_01: Every part of it was insane.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_01: There was no part actually that wasn't insane.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_01: And then for the first couple of months, it was just, I was in love.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_01: It was, I just knew it.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_01: This was the person.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_01: She's gorgeous, she's this, she's that, she's kind, she's sweet, she's funny.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_01: And you know, we liked all the same behaviors, except the marijuana, and a couple months.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_01: And then lo and behold, she starts staying out.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_01: And the thing that made me the most upset, which of course I never told her, she'd call her husband.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_01: We're living together.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_01: Call her husband for money.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, that's no big deal.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_01: She'll eventually get rid of him, and we're gonna live every happily ever after.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_01: Well, long story short, she starts staying out over at night times, and eventually she admitted to me of different things that she cheated on me.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_01: And in that moment, my life ended.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_01: And you know, we talk about being afraid to trust ourselves.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_01: As far as I was concerned, in that moment, I was trusting myself, regardless of the insanity, and I'm describing unconscious insanity.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_01: Did I know I was insane?
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_01: No, I don't, I didn't.
- 1:10:50SPEAKER_01: And where this led me then, within a short period of time, I move out.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_01: Then I'm in this torment because I'm so upset and I'm so angry.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_01: I never wanted to see her again.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_01: Love of my life gone.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_01: And but I wanted her back and I missed her, but I hate her.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_01: Just the torment.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_01: I write a poem about this later.
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_01: My book comes through me a couple, two or three years later, sorrow separation.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_01: But literally, I'm then I move into a room, a man's room that he rents, I don't know, a couple hundred bucks a month, and I'm paralyzed in terror.
- 1:11:28SPEAKER_01: Now, folks, this is before my years of darkness.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_01: This is I'm still drinking, I'm still drugging, I'm still working all the time.
- 1:11:35SPEAKER_01: I was powerless.
- 1:11:36SPEAKER_01: This is before cell phones.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_01: I had a beeper.
- 1:11:39SPEAKER_01: I looked down at my beeper and I had 27 calls, which means you had to go get to a landline.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_01: This is early 90s.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_01: And that moment, those that time, those three weeks, that period of time was just horrible.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_01: And I'm in therapy, and I go through the, you know, I'm trying to talk it through just horrible, horrible, dark time.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_01: And then I go through a three-day period of time where I'm literally in this guy's house, and that guy didn't know, didn't care.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_01: We didn't bother each other for three days, did not leave the room, head under the pillow, literally in terror.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_01: Absolute, without question, paralyzed in terror.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_01: And you asked the story, well, Joe, why the heck are you telling us a story?
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_01: Well, because at the end of that three days, I realized for the first time in my life, that my entire life, because I'm in therapy for three and a half years, and we're talking about my dad and talking about being abandoned a little bit, all mental.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_01: We do visualization, and that's why visualization is fantastic, heals nothing, but it's fantastic.
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_01: It saved my life, but this is three and a half years in now.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_01: And what that three-day period did for me is it catapulted me into a darkness so deep in my world that I had to feel something.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_01: And in the awareness, I became aware that my entire life, even in the womb, I felt abandoned.
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_01: And the womb I felt abandoned because my mother, although she was kind and nice, she was not emotional at all.
- 1:13:34SPEAKER_01: She wasn't.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_01: She would always do loving activities, but she wasn't an emotional person.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_01: She just wasn't.
- 1:13:46SPEAKER_01: It was the third day after my 30th birthday.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_01: And sometimes I tell that story because sometimes we have to go through the deepest, darkest.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_01: I don't understand why I am like this.
- 1:14:02SPEAKER_01: Everything in our external world changed to bring ourselves deeper in our internal world.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_01: And that the answers to life, the rest of the phases of consciousness, we're going to talk about in future episodes, but it was after that womb experience, that awakening, after that deep part, that because everything in my external life went away, that it catapulted me deep inside myself.
- 1:14:36SPEAKER_01: And it was in that awareness that I knew that something had to change.
- 1:14:42SPEAKER_01: Now, my external girlfriend and all that was done already.
- 1:14:46SPEAKER_01: But I also knew then that the therapist I'd had for three and a half years that I had outgrown.
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_01: She'd done what she could do with me.
- 1:14:54SPEAKER_01: And interestingly enough, future a couple weeks or months later, I don't remember the detail.
- 1:15:00SPEAKER_01: I'm sure when I read my book, I'll remember it.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_01: I meet another therapist who brings me in my body and we start doing the emotional side of work.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_01: So for Joe, the unconscious, fallen in love, crazy, blah, blah, blah, brings me into a bizarrely aware of a bizarre experience of darkness and pain.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_01: That as the consequence of that darkness and pain, I literally have an awakening to a womb experience and shift a three and a half year relationship with a therapist to his mental and hypnosis, to then a therapist who is massage and emotional.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_01: So I go from the mental side of healing to the emotional side of healing because my external world changed.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_01: And that's where so very often, like I in my intro, I'm saying, you know, so very often we look at our external world, and if everything's going right, then we think we're on the right path.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_01: But then when everything in our external world just kind of, like in my world, just goes away, then we start questioning am I path right?
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_01: Like, is there something wrong with my path?
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_01: And from an unconscious, in the beginning stages of consciousness, we tend to guide our decision-making process of right or wrong based on the external result.
- 1:16:23SPEAKER_01: And that's where the external result is the consequence, not the guide.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_01: It's not the it's not the thermometer of right and wrong.
- 1:16:34SPEAKER_01: The external world ends up mirroring back whatever you have to learn inside.
- 1:16:40SPEAKER_01: And in this particular case, massive pain catapulted me deep, outgrew my therapist, and then went through a period of time just completely lost.
- 1:16:52SPEAKER_01: Girlfriend gone, therapist gone, and I hadn't gotten new therapist yet.
- 1:16:57SPEAKER_01: And I share that story, folks, because a lot of you, crazy stuff in your external world happens.
- 1:17:03SPEAKER_01: It does.
- 1:17:04SPEAKER_01: And then you start questioning your path.
- 1:17:06SPEAKER_01: You start questioning, am I really on a spiritual path?
- 1:17:09SPEAKER_01: You start questioning, why is my life doing this to me?
- 1:17:11SPEAKER_01: You start questioning, what did I do wrong?
- 1:17:13SPEAKER_01: Did I is it a karma?
- 1:17:15SPEAKER_01: You know, the the people I hurt in the past, now I'm being hurt.
- 1:17:19SPEAKER_01: No, zero-ness.
- 1:17:21SPEAKER_01: Your pain is in you.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_01: And will your external world a lot of times guide you into deeper places of your pain?
- 1:17:29SPEAKER_01: Sure it will.
- 1:17:30SPEAKER_01: And if it's deep and dark, make sure you have support.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_01: If you're guided to go deeper and deeper and deeper into your pain, definitely make sure you have professional support.
- 1:17:43SPEAKER_01: Right now, I would be mentioning this organization that I might be doing some presentations for, because I want to give you places you can go to get that type of help, to get that type of support.
- 1:17:54SPEAKER_01: And why is it all important, like in my path, right?
- 1:17:58SPEAKER_01: Because I then moved into the emotional side of stuff, right?
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_01: And at this point, I still was drinking, I still was drugging.
- 1:18:07SPEAKER_01: This is right after my 30th birthday.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_01: I didn't, this conversation I always have about, you know, being in the basement and the awareness of drinking all the time.
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_01: That's another year later in my path.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_01: But it was in that moment right there that switched therapists.
- 1:18:22SPEAKER_01: That's where I eventually, the therapist I was with, ended up being my AA sponsor.
- 1:18:27SPEAKER_01: She introduced me to my AA to AA after I got so after I got dry.
- 1:18:32SPEAKER_01: She was the one that taught me how to emote.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_01: She's the one that taught me dual-hand journaling.
- 1:18:36SPEAKER_01: All of the emotional growth that I've lived now for over 30 years, all of it started after that womb experience.
- 1:18:47SPEAKER_01: That womb experience started because the girl of my dreams went away.
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_01: And if you're looking at your life and you say, Well, Joe, your life is horrible.
- 1:18:58SPEAKER_01: The girl of your dreams left.
- 1:19:00SPEAKER_01: No, that would be if you're defining your life as the outside in.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_01: In fact, because this woman left, it catapulted me to a deeper part of me I didn't even know was there.
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_01: And because of that communion, everything unfolded.
- 1:19:17SPEAKER_01: Fast forward, you know, in that whole process, fast forward all the way to September 2022.
- 1:19:23SPEAKER_01: We're talking 1994 here, folks.
- 1:19:27SPEAKER_01: And went on a seven-year journey of healing, wrote a couple books, filling the void was written a couple years after all of this.
- 1:19:36SPEAKER_01: Get the book, Filling the Void, please go download it.
- 1:19:39SPEAKER_01: I think you'll really enjoy reading it.
- 1:19:41SPEAKER_01: JoeMidiga.com was written after this.
- 1:19:45SPEAKER_01: And literally, in that era of time, I really thought that my external world was supposed to follow John Bradshaw doing her child work.
- 1:19:54SPEAKER_01: My external world was supposed to follow Wayne Dyer, talk about higher power.
- 1:19:57SPEAKER_01: My external world was supposed to be a motivated motivational speaker like Tony Robbins.
- 1:20:02SPEAKER_01: I thought that was all supposed to happen 25 years ago.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_01: Well, God has a plan.
- 1:20:06SPEAKER_01: And the plan wasn't that.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_01: And ye shall do what I have greater things, and ye shall do what I have done in grander things.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_01: That quote Jesus said.
- 1:20:28SPEAKER_01: All because of all that.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_01: And all of it started because my external world went completely away.
- 1:20:34SPEAKER_01: And in that moment, I literally while I was developing the girl of my dreams, I literally believed with all of my heart that I was following a calling.
- 1:20:46SPEAKER_01: I was following what I was supposed to do.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_01: I literally believed it.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_01: And come to find out, my extra I was following my external world the way I was supposed to, but my external world was there to catapult me into my internal world.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_01: And I can promise you, all of you here can put your own story around that same thing: a divorce in your life, a loss of a job, a loss of a loved one, God forbid a loss of a child, a loss of a pet, a loss of your identity, the getting sober.
- 1:21:18SPEAKER_01: You want your life to change completely.
- 1:21:20SPEAKER_01: Everything in your external world will change when you get sober.
- 1:21:23SPEAKER_01: I go on and on and on.
- 1:21:24SPEAKER_01: How the external world, and that's why, how do we eventually trust ourselves when we're trusting our higher power?
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_01: Our higher power is inside.
- 1:21:37SPEAKER_01: We stop the pursuit of okaineness as while we're looking at our external world, and we start searching for the okayness in our internal world, regardless of what our external world looks like, literally.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_01: And that's where over time the emotional growth that helped me trust that higher power is because I learned over time that my life is inside me.
- 1:22:04SPEAKER_01: I live it outside of me.
- 1:22:07SPEAKER_01: My purpose, my higher purpose, all of our highest purpose is to live the grandest parts of ourselves.
- 1:22:16SPEAKER_01: Well, when I was 29 years old, the grandest me was a pool player, and I was pretty good and could drink a bunch.
- 1:22:23SPEAKER_01: I was really good at that.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_01: And I smoked marijuana every day and I worked out.
- 1:22:27SPEAKER_01: I was good at all those things, external, external, external.
- 1:22:29SPEAKER_01: Then I found the girl of my dreams, external.
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_01: Well, I that was the highest version I had.
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_01: Well, when that world changed, catapulted deeper, and I started pursuing a grand Joe.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_01: In that grander Joe perception, pursuit is where I, because of that experience, that was the beginning days of Joe pursuing emotional growth, emotional healing.
- 1:22:57SPEAKER_01: Prior to that womb experience, there was no emotion, none.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_01: After that womb experience, the emotion started to come.
- 1:23:06SPEAKER_01: In our next episode, which I'll be doing on Thursday, we're going to talk about the process of going through the unconscious voice from unconscious to conscious, glass empty voices to glass full, and then being guided some by your feelings.
- 1:23:22SPEAKER_01: I got a couple of cool stories around that one, too.
- 1:23:24SPEAKER_01: And why is all this important?
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_01: Because the end result of what we're trying to do is I'm trying to help everybody understand, especially if you're on this podcast, the how-to of the We podcast is what the ultimate goal is, is on every episode help people become more consciously aware, A, of all of the successes you've already had.
- 1:23:48SPEAKER_01: Inside you, not outside.
- 1:23:50SPEAKER_01: I can't predict your job.
- 1:23:53SPEAKER_01: I can't predict your marriage.
- 1:23:54SPEAKER_01: I can't predict what your kids are doing.
- 1:23:56SPEAKER_01: I cannot predict your external world.
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_01: You can be in complete misery in your external world and afraid of money all the time, or you can be worth millions of dollars.
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_01: Either way, I'm not talking about your external world.
- 1:24:08SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about your internal world.
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_01: When was your first conscious thought?
- 1:24:12SPEAKER_01: When was the first time you heard your thoughts?
- 1:24:14SPEAKER_01: Put that date down, and I want you to start telling yourself, I've been on a conscious path ever since Joe, the early 90s.
- 1:24:23SPEAKER_01: Do the math.
- 1:24:25SPEAKER_01: It's 40 years, 35 years.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_01: I've been on a conscious path for over 35 years.
- 1:24:29SPEAKER_01: Now, do I go out and tell people that?
- 1:24:31SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:24:31SPEAKER_01: When I brush my teeth, though, I say, wow, I've been doing this a long time.
- 1:24:35SPEAKER_01: That's what I want for all of you.
- 1:24:37SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 1:24:38SPEAKER_01: Because as you start seeing yourself as more of a conscious being, your self-esteem rises.
- 1:24:44SPEAKER_01: How, how, when did you start healing any type of emotions in yourself?
- 1:24:50SPEAKER_01: When did you ever when did you start removing the substances that suppress your emotions?
- 1:24:56SPEAKER_01: By the way, when's the last time you went 30 days?
- 1:24:59SPEAKER_01: Why do I say that?
- 1:25:00SPEAKER_01: Because if you're drinking all the time, you're suppressing emotions.
- 1:25:03SPEAKER_01: If you're suppressing emotions, you're neglecting your little kid, and your spiritual growth will be stunted.
- 1:25:09SPEAKER_01: It just will.
- 1:25:09SPEAKER_01: You can't drink all the time, suppress your emotions, and think you're going to have a spiritual life.
- 1:25:15SPEAKER_01: You can't.
- 1:25:15SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 1:25:16SPEAKER_01: Because your spiritual communion comes from love.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_01: Emotions are love.
- 1:25:20SPEAKER_01: The source of love is your inner child, literally.
- 1:25:23SPEAKER_01: So that's why I'm going to challenge that all the time.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 1:25:26SPEAKER_01: I want people to become one with that higher sense.
- 1:25:30SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 1:25:31SPEAKER_01: Because the more you can feel better inside, that's where your self-worth grows.
- 1:25:38SPEAKER_01: The more connection you have with the depths of yourself, that's where your self-worth grows.
- 1:25:44SPEAKER_01: As you see yourself more grandly, self-esteem.
- 1:25:48SPEAKER_01: As you feel yourself more grandly, self-worth.
- 1:25:51SPEAKER_01: As you take action steps that are honoring and kind and loving to yourself, you start trusting yourself more.
- 1:25:59SPEAKER_01: And as you follow those guidance systems, a higher perspective, a higher self-worth, a higher self-esteem, a grander sense of integrity, your choices are going to cause a grander external world 99% of the time.
- 1:26:16SPEAKER_01: And that's why we do it.
- 1:26:18SPEAKER_01: We want to create an environment to where the more we grow deeper, the more we awake grander.
- 1:26:26SPEAKER_01: And then from the awakening of the grandness, you live it out into the world through your divinity.
- 1:26:34SPEAKER_01: Your higher purpose, folks, is to that you were born with is to live and grow and become the grandest you possible, consciously growing.
- 1:26:48SPEAKER_01: And at each perspective you grow into, when you're giving from that new consciousness, then you're living that higher purpose.
- 1:26:59SPEAKER_01: Trying to live the higher purpose, that's more the cherry, not the cake.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_01: The cake is growing into the vibrational awareness and consciousness of a grander you, which we all have the availability to do, and then living from there.
- 1:27:15SPEAKER_01: Why do I say we're the generation of change?
- 1:27:17SPEAKER_01: Because humanity's waking up.
- 1:27:19SPEAKER_01: How do I know?
- 1:27:20SPEAKER_01: Because how else would a man with a microphone in less than a year have been ranked one of the top podcasts on Apple Podcast?
- 1:27:31SPEAKER_01: How else, if the world wasn't waking up, could a man and a microphone, no big media, no no internet following, no social media following, no millions of dollars, none of none of that.
- 1:27:44SPEAKER_01: Just me, me and you, us.
- 1:27:46SPEAKER_01: How could the We podcast be the number one trending podcast on Spotify?
- 1:27:50SPEAKER_01: How could it be?
- 1:27:52SPEAKER_01: Well, because my higher power is talking to yours.
- 1:27:54SPEAKER_01: And it's not Joe, it's us.
- 1:27:57SPEAKER_01: We are doing this.
- 1:27:59SPEAKER_01: We are.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_01: And when as it continues to grow, ranked in a dozen countries, probably already in 20 countries, maybe more.
- 1:28:08SPEAKER_01: I'll find out that later.
- 1:28:10SPEAKER_01: Why is that?
- 1:28:11SPEAKER_01: Because it doesn't matter where you are, we're all part of humanity.
- 1:28:14SPEAKER_01: And as humanity wakes up, it's pursuing a voice to mirror itself.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_01: Right now, the voice is me.
- 1:28:22SPEAKER_01: But everything you learn from here, you've got the same voice.
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_01: You've got the same ability.
- 1:28:28SPEAKER_01: You've got the same capacities.
- 1:28:31SPEAKER_01: We are the same.
- 1:28:32SPEAKER_01: You might not be as practiced as me in speaking it.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_01: A lot of you're probably better.
- 1:28:38SPEAKER_01: But that doesn't matter.
- 1:28:40SPEAKER_01: It just matters that you live it.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_01: Whatever place of awareness you are today, pursuing your higher purpose means you're pursuing growth, living as a higher you, purpose for being born.
- 1:28:57SPEAKER_01: Every time you grow grander, you have the availability to give more.
- 1:29:03SPEAKER_01: And as you're giving more, you're living in your divinity.
- 1:29:06SPEAKER_01: And that's the ultimate way that we heal humanity.
- 1:29:09SPEAKER_01: Thanks for being here, everybody.
- 1:29:11SPEAKER_01: I am really, really pleased at what's happening.
- 1:29:15SPEAKER_01: My life is blessed.
- 1:29:17SPEAKER_01: Really is.
- 1:29:18SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to my first book out there.
- 1:29:22SPEAKER_01: It's been a 30-year process.
- 1:29:24SPEAKER_01: I look forward to people reading it and understand it wasn't Joe.
- 1:29:28SPEAKER_01: That book was totally channeled through me.
- 1:29:30SPEAKER_01: All I did was listen and dictate.
- 1:29:32SPEAKER_01: You'll feel it.
- 1:29:33SPEAKER_01: You'll hear it.
- 1:29:34SPEAKER_01: You'll feel yourself in it somewhere, somehow.
- 1:29:38SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to get out on the streets and meet people face to face and share my experience, strength, and hope, share my story of hope, you know, from almost the my my one of the keynote I'm gonna start with is man in a microphone.
- 1:29:52SPEAKER_01: Go go figure, right?
- 1:29:53SPEAKER_01: Because if I can do it, anybody can do it.
- 1:29:56SPEAKER_01: Now, can anybody start a podcast today and go global like Joe is?
- 1:30:00SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 1:30:01SPEAKER_01: I didn't know I could, so if I can, you can.
- 1:30:03SPEAKER_01: But is that what I'm talking about?
- 1:30:05SPEAKER_01: No, I don't know how you're supposed to live you.
- 1:30:11SPEAKER_01: Ask Mr.
- 1:30:12SPEAKER_01: Damon, Matt Damon, water.org,$100 million.
- 1:30:16SPEAKER_01: Everybody out here is probably more like him.
- 1:30:19SPEAKER_01: Go out there and raise a bunch of money and really make a difference.
- 1:30:23SPEAKER_01: And you might live in modest means.
- 1:30:27SPEAKER_01: And your modest means might be when you're buying groceries, you buy one extra loaf of bread for your neighbor.
- 1:30:34SPEAKER_01: When you're buying kids' clothes, buy a second pair of secondary shoes for the neighbor could hit a person who has less.
- 1:30:42SPEAKER_01: Every time we help somebody else, you're living as the highest you, because that's what the highest you is.
- 1:30:51SPEAKER_01: That's what your divinity lives as: a giving energy.
- 1:30:56SPEAKER_01: And the more we do it, the more we grow.
- 1:30:59SPEAKER_01: The more that we grow, the more we heal.
- 1:31:01SPEAKER_01: And the more we heal, the more we come together.
- 1:31:05SPEAKER_01: And collectively, that's how we heal humanity.
- 1:31:09SPEAKER_01: One smile at a time.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_01: And from around the world, I truly want to welcome you to We.
