Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Where usual comes for common sense.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Mark Simon on sevent ten wr.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Well, hey, rainy day, but you had a great couple
- 0:17Speaker 3: of days, summer like days. It's going to get better.
- 0:20Speaker 3: It's going to be not so bad this weekend. Now.
- 0:23Speaker 3: The latest in Iran, well, they're using cluster bombs now
- 0:27Speaker 3: against their enemies. You're not really supposed to use those
- 0:31Speaker 3: cluster bombs, but this is considered their last gasps. As
- 0:34Speaker 3: you heard on the news, the new leader, the Ayatola's
- 0:37Speaker 3: Sun says the straits of Hormuse will remain closed and
- 0:43Speaker 3: Iran will continue to attack its enemies. They also activated Hesblah.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Those terrorists launched one hundred rockets last night at Israel,
- 0:51Speaker 3: which did overwhelm the Iron Dome. One hundred rockets at once.
- 0:56Speaker 3: They were able to shoot down half of them, but
- 0:57Speaker 3: some of them got through. And also again those cluster
- 1:01Speaker 3: bombs were used on Israeli cities, so this is pretty
- 1:05Speaker 3: rough stuff. The Hoodies so far have not fired at Israel,
- 1:10Speaker 3: leading Israelis to worry that they're being held back to
- 1:14Speaker 3: be like the final gasp of Iran. Israeli Air Force
- 1:19Speaker 3: is continuing to knock out projectile launchers. Additional infrastructure sites,
- 1:26Speaker 3: and that will continue and keep going for a while.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Figure another week, another week, and as the Pentagon is saying,
- 1:33Speaker 3: they're getting to the point where they're going to just
- 1:34Speaker 3: run out of targets, there'll be nothing left to hit.
- 1:37Speaker 3: You'll still get the little attacks the straits of Hormus.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Those attacks are coming from what's left of the drones
- 1:44Speaker 3: and speedboats with dynamite on them. So we should take
- 1:47Speaker 3: another week to wrap all of that up. Because you
- 1:51Speaker 3: heard Steve Moore, the great economists, last hour say we're
- 1:55Speaker 3: not dependent on oil for anybody, believe it or not,
- 1:58Speaker 3: We're actually totally energy dependent. Now, do you remember, for
- 2:01Speaker 3: most of your lifetime, for a million years, whenever there
- 2:05Speaker 3: was a potential presidential race, at the convention, the candidate
- 2:09Speaker 3: in his convention speech would rattle off everything he's going
- 2:12Speaker 3: to do, and one of the things every candidate for
- 2:16Speaker 3: forty years would rattle off, and I'm going to end
- 2:18Speaker 3: our dependence on foreign oil, and the whole audience, which heer.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Nobody ever did that, Nobody ever tried to do that
- 2:25Speaker 3: until Donald Trump came along. He actually did it, the
- 2:28Speaker 3: only one that ever did it, after every candidate on
- 2:32Speaker 3: Earth promised he actually ended our dependence on foreign oil,
- 2:37Speaker 3: totally energy independent. And in fact, this week the first
- 2:41Speaker 3: oil refinery to open in America in fifty years, A
- 2:45Speaker 3: brand new refinery, first one in fifty years, opened in
- 2:49Speaker 3: Texas and is a three hundred billion dollar deal. It'll
- 2:56Speaker 3: generate also thousands of construction and permanent jobs. Wages will
- 3:00Speaker 3: exceed market averages. Partners in India and privately held energy
- 3:07Speaker 3: company Reliance made a tremendous investment in the project. It's
- 3:12Speaker 3: a really really great deal. And by the way, if
- 3:15Speaker 3: you want to raise minimum wage, that's how you do it.
- 3:17Speaker 3: You create booming economy, jobs, factories, things going up, and
- 3:22Speaker 3: you run out of You get to a shortage of workers,
- 3:25Speaker 3: and industries have to pay way above minimum wage to
- 3:28Speaker 3: get anybody. That's how you do it, not by just
- 3:32Speaker 3: raising the minimum wage. The only thing that happens there
- 3:34Speaker 3: is people get laid off and fired because the minimum
- 3:37Speaker 3: wage is too high and they don't need that many workers. Hey,
- 3:42Speaker 3: the media loves to go crazy, loves to go crazy
- 3:46Speaker 3: in anything they can do to attack Trump. So the
- 3:51Speaker 3: Pentagon is now banning photographers. News photographers. Reporters can come
- 3:57Speaker 3: in and ask all the questions they want, but no
- 3:59Speaker 3: more news photograph, so they're up in arms. Now most
- 4:03Speaker 3: of this was caused by Reuters and a couple of
- 4:05Speaker 3: those you know Reuters in these news services that used
- 4:09Speaker 3: to be considered the gold standard are now the most
- 4:12Speaker 3: biased partisan people in the world. So they were deliberately
- 4:17Speaker 3: trying to get the worst pictures they could get a
- 4:19Speaker 3: Pete Hexith and the General's General Kine whenever there was
- 4:23Speaker 3: a briefing. You know, if you want to well, you know,
- 4:25Speaker 3: you take pictures of yourself. You take ten twenty pictures.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Some of them you look great, you're smiling. Some of
- 4:30Speaker 3: them your eyes are crooked. You're all crooked, you look terrible.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Your mouth is in a weird position. So they were
- 4:35Speaker 3: trying to do that to Pete Hexith. They were deliberately
- 4:38Speaker 3: using the worst pictures they could get, so they brought
- 4:41Speaker 3: this on themselves. They deserve to have this band. Just
- 4:45Speaker 3: their incredible Trump derangement syndrome caused this. CNN has been
- 4:51Speaker 3: totally humiliated in the last couple of days. If you
- 4:55Speaker 3: watch that and think you're getting the news, you are crazy.
- 4:58Speaker 3: They have just been caught in so many things. Now
- 5:01Speaker 3: you had that terrible incident in New York. Two ISIS
- 5:04Speaker 3: inspired terrorists with IUD bombs, dangerous dangerous bombs, tried to
- 5:11Speaker 3: throw them into a crowd here. So first you had
- 5:15Speaker 3: Anna Navarro lying and saying it was an attack on
- 5:18Speaker 3: mayor Mom Donnie, that they were trying to get him. Well,
- 5:20Speaker 3: that's absolutely not true. She repeated it on CNN a
- 5:25Speaker 3: day later, and luckily there was somebody there who just
- 5:28Speaker 3: straightened her out and said it's not true, but she
- 5:30Speaker 3: kept arguing it was true. Then you had the CNN
- 5:33Speaker 3: online on Twitter account these were two well you saw
- 5:39Speaker 3: the two guys that got arrested, two crazy looking terrorist kids.
- 5:42Speaker 3: They came from Pennsylvania. Their ISIS inspired. They were shouting
- 5:46Speaker 3: ISIS slogans. They used a IUD, the type ISIS uses,
- 5:51Speaker 3: they used the chemicals ISIS uses. I mean, this was
- 5:54Speaker 3: as ISIS terrorist as you could get, these kids from
- 5:57Speaker 3: Pennsylvania about nineteen. The CNN Twitter account described it as
- 6:04Speaker 3: two teenagers came from Pennsylvania to visit New York on
- 6:07Speaker 3: a warm sunny day when suddenly they were arrested. I mean,
- 6:12Speaker 3: this was a total, complete fake news, complete total distortion
- 6:18Speaker 3: of what happened. This is by CNN for their readers.
- 6:22Speaker 3: It got so much flak online. They were so attacked
- 6:27Speaker 3: virally that CNN actually took down the whole thing and
- 6:30Speaker 3: then apologized, saying they removed that because it didn't follow
- 6:35Speaker 3: their editorial standards. But let's be honest, if it hadn't
- 6:39Speaker 3: been for the viral outrage, they would have left it there.
- 6:42Speaker 3: It's just awful. So if you're watching CNN, you're getting
- 6:46Speaker 3: the exact opposite of what happened many many times when
- 6:50Speaker 3: you run into your left wing kookie friends and you
- 6:53Speaker 3: get into these arguments and you can't believe the things.
- 6:55Speaker 4: They think.
- 6:56Speaker 3: This is why they're watching things like CNN or MSNBC.
- 7:00Speaker 3: And if you watch it, it looks like you're watching
- 7:02Speaker 3: some sort of news broadcast. A set looks like a newscast.
- 7:06Speaker 3: They got suits and ties and glasses. They look like
- 7:08Speaker 3: they are newspeople, and you think this is what you're watching.
- 7:11Speaker 3: So you could never convince them in a million years
- 7:14Speaker 3: that these aren't newspeople. This is not a news show.
- 7:17Speaker 3: You're getting total distortion, Trump derangement syndrome nonsense. You could
- 7:21Speaker 3: never convince them of this. That's why I keep telling
- 7:24Speaker 3: you don't even bother. Don't even try to argue with them.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Just let them think whatever they want to think. There's
- 7:29Speaker 3: nothing you can do about it. Hey, the Oscars are
- 7:32Speaker 3: Sunday night. Conan O'Brien returns as the host. He'll be
- 7:38Speaker 3: the host for the next ten years. He's very good
- 7:41Speaker 3: at it. You know, in the good old days, a
- 7:43Speaker 3: million years ago, you had the biggest names in the world,
- 7:46Speaker 3: the biggest comedians on earth. That was Bob Hope for many,
- 7:50Speaker 3: many many years. With the MC of the Oscars, it
- 7:53Speaker 3: was Johnny Carson for a number of years. But there's
- 7:56Speaker 3: no such thing anymore. You don't have people like that anymore.
- 7:58Speaker 3: There's no you know, you don't really have big, big
- 8:01Speaker 3: stars anymore. There's nobody who anybody would know anymore. You know,
- 8:05Speaker 3: in the good old days, if you said Bob Hope,
- 8:07Speaker 3: or if you said George Burns, or if you said
- 8:11Speaker 3: Dean Martin, everybody knew that they were. Everybody knew them. Nowadays,
- 8:16Speaker 3: you can take the biggest highest paid movie star in
- 8:18Speaker 3: the world, half the country doesn't know who the hell
- 8:20Speaker 3: they are, or under a certain age they don't know
- 8:23Speaker 3: who they are, Or the biggest music star in the world.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Half the people over a certain age doesn't know who
- 8:31Speaker 3: they are anymore. Just so there's no such thing as
- 8:33Speaker 3: really big stars anymore. The closest thing you can come
- 8:36Speaker 3: to is Conan O'Brien. He's actually, you know, he was
- 8:41Speaker 3: always considered you know, subpar, minor league kind of a guy.
- 8:46Speaker 3: But in today's world he's like the old veteran, like
- 8:49Speaker 3: the real veteran, old school kind of show business guy.
- 8:52Speaker 3: He was great last year. He'll return this year. The
- 8:56Speaker 3: Oscars where they were I don't know why they were
- 8:58Speaker 3: desperately trying to get Barbara Stride to perform it this
- 9:02Speaker 3: year's Oscars. It looks like they've got her. She will
- 9:05Speaker 3: be a presenter, although it looks like I don't think
- 9:08Speaker 3: she'll sing. They will not confirm that she's going to sing.
- 9:11Speaker 3: But the reason they want her there Robert Redford is
- 9:15Speaker 3: one of the people we lost last year, so they
- 9:17Speaker 3: want a tribute to Robert Redford. Streisand of course will
- 9:22Speaker 3: you know, associated with Redford, So she'll be there for
- 9:26Speaker 3: the tribute to Redford. They wanted her to sing the
- 9:28Speaker 3: way we were. I don't think she's going to do it,
- 9:30Speaker 3: and I don't think again, I don't think the Oscar
- 9:33Speaker 3: people understand that about half the people watching will not
- 9:38Speaker 3: know who Barbara Streisand is. They will have absolutely no idea.
- 9:42Speaker 3: It's just the way the world is today. It's just
- 9:47Speaker 3: different generations. Everybody under thirty five. They won't know who
- 9:53Speaker 3: Barbara streisand is. The way we were, They've never heard
- 9:56Speaker 3: the song. So who is going to be there? Well,
- 10:01Speaker 3: let me see. Here's the whole list here. You know,
- 10:05Speaker 3: it's not the greatest list in the world. Presenters this
- 10:09Speaker 3: Sunday include Rose Byrne, Nicole Kidman, Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel. Okay,
- 10:14Speaker 3: now he has nothing to do with the movie business,
- 10:16Speaker 3: but but he hates Trump. They wanted to make some
- 10:19Speaker 3: Trump jokes. He'll be there. Delroy Lindo again, Wagner Mora,
- 10:26Speaker 3: Pedro Pascal. Half of America, maybe sixty percent of America,
- 10:31Speaker 3: has no idea who these people are. Bill Pullman, Lewis Pullman,
- 10:38Speaker 3: Let's see who else, Adrian Brody, Will Arnett. Okay, these
- 10:42Speaker 3: are not the greatest stars in the world. Chris Evans,
- 10:47Speaker 3: Anne Hathaway, Chas Infinnity, Mikey Madison. Now a lot of
- 10:51Speaker 3: you people listening, who I don't know who any of
- 10:53Speaker 3: these people are. Zoe Saldana, Maya, Rudolph Gwyneth Paltrow. She's
- 10:58Speaker 3: in Mark Supreme. Very good in there. But again, in
- 11:02Speaker 3: the old days, you know, you go watch the old
- 11:04Speaker 3: Oscars from the fifties, the presenters were Humphrey Bogart, Frank Sinatra,
- 11:09Speaker 3: I mean, the biggest people in the world. So it's
- 11:11Speaker 3: going to be a strange oscar show and it'll be
- 11:16Speaker 3: this Sunday night seven, seven to eleven, you know, something
- 11:19Speaker 3: like that. Who's gonna win what? I don't know. I
- 11:23Speaker 3: loved Marty Supreme. I thought it was a great movie.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Although I talked to a lot of people that saw it,
- 11:27Speaker 3: they're not that excited about it. But Timothy Shalomy is
- 11:31Speaker 3: expected to win for his part in the movie, So
- 11:35Speaker 3: we'll see. But it's this Sunday night.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Hey.
- 11:38Speaker 3: You know, there's a top judge in New York. He's
- 11:41Speaker 3: like the ruling judge of all the judges in New York.
- 11:43Speaker 3: So he's speaking at a conference and now he's got
- 11:47Speaker 3: everybody going nuts. State Republicans have filed a complaint against
- 11:51Speaker 3: this guy. He's Chief Judge Rowan Wilson, and he was
- 11:57Speaker 3: speaking at a conference and he talked about criminals, and
- 12:00Speaker 3: he said, you got to go easy when you sentence
- 12:03Speaker 3: the criminals. Go easy on them. They hurt somebody seriously,
- 12:08Speaker 3: maybe in the past, but they've come to be a
- 12:11Speaker 3: very different person, and we're spending a lot of money
- 12:14Speaker 3: to keep them in prison. That's stupid. He also said
- 12:17Speaker 3: it's very depressing when a judge refers to a defendant
- 12:22Speaker 3: as an animal who should be locked up. Well, you
- 12:24Speaker 3: know what, many of them are animals who should be
- 12:27Speaker 3: locked up. And this judge is getting all kinds of flack.
- 12:30Speaker 3: People are up in arms because he's the chief judge.
- 12:32Speaker 3: He's actually telling judges go easy on the criminals. Don't
- 12:35Speaker 3: sentence them to anything. Prison's not a great It's unbelievable
- 12:39Speaker 3: the chief judge in New York would say this. They're
- 12:43Speaker 3: filing complaints against them, saying he violated ethics rules by
- 12:48Speaker 3: making those comments. It was too political, republican law makercy
- 12:52Speaker 3: cross the lines of what judges are allowed to say publicly.
- 12:56Speaker 3: So we'll see what happens this guy. This is also
- 12:58Speaker 3: the reason you need Bruce Blakeman to be governed her
- 13:00Speaker 3: and you got people like this, and Leticia James and
- 13:04Speaker 3: wacky Mom Donnie is the mayor. You need a Bruce
- 13:06Speaker 3: Blakeman as governor, your only hope to keep things sane
- 13:10Speaker 3: here in New York. In fact, Bruce Blakeman yesterday calling
- 13:14Speaker 3: for a public apology of from mayor Mam Donnie's wife.
- 13:20Speaker 3: She's the one that this is just still hard to believe.
- 13:24Speaker 3: On Twitter, somebody is talking about October seventh, the horrible
- 13:28Speaker 3: Holocaust in Israel, how it's justified, it's the right thing
- 13:32Speaker 3: to do, it was necessary, you have to do that.
- 13:35Speaker 3: This is where people were killed, slaughtered butchered, babies were killed,
- 13:43Speaker 3: women were raped. So she clicks like on this a
- 13:46Speaker 3: couple of times posts like that. She clicked like she
- 13:50Speaker 3: likes that Blakeman calling for a public apology from her
- 13:54Speaker 3: and calling for Hokel to do a probe of Mom
- 13:57Speaker 3: Donnie's wife for anti sem rhetoric. And it is anti
- 14:01Speaker 3: Semitic and horrible. So that's why you need Blakeman as governor. Hey,
- 14:06Speaker 3: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 14:08Speaker 3: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 14:13Speaker 3: three two one zero seven ten. Eliza Minelli new book
- 14:16Speaker 3: coming out, What's Out You can get it now. It's
- 14:19Speaker 3: her autobiography, but she goes after a lot of people
- 14:22Speaker 3: in there, Gene Hackman. That's about how rude, vicious, nastyess
- 14:27Speaker 3: Gene Hackman was Scorsese. She reveals they had a torrid
- 14:32Speaker 3: love affair during the making of New York, New York
- 14:35Speaker 3: the movie, and goes into real detail about his drug
- 14:39Speaker 3: use and it gets really ugly here. I don't know
- 14:42Speaker 3: what she was thinking, but uh, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Get instant
- 14:50Speaker 3: access to Mark by setting a precint in the iHeartRadio
- 14:54Speaker 3: app for his live show and his podcast.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Now back to the Mark Simon Show on Double.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Hey, let's they can call it. Eight hundred three two
- 15:04Speaker 3: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 15:07Speaker 3: Chris in Manhattan. Chris, how you doing.
- 15:09Speaker 6: I'm good, Thanks, Mark, Good morning listen. I wasn't gonna call,
- 15:11Speaker 6: but you said something before. I was watching the movie
- 15:14Speaker 6: American Jigglo last night. Yes, and there's a scene in
- 15:17Speaker 6: there where Lauren Hutton's husband, he's a politician, and he's
- 15:21Speaker 6: promising that he's going to get us off of dependence
- 15:25Speaker 6: on foreign oil. And you just said that forty years ago.
- 15:27Speaker 6: That movie was from nineteen eighty And another question, how
- 15:31Speaker 6: come you have such a great memory? What did How
- 15:33Speaker 6: do you do it?
- 15:35Speaker 3: Well? Actually, some people just have a photographic memory. I
- 15:38Speaker 3: always have. It's helped me a lot because I don't
- 15:40Speaker 3: like to help me in school because I don't like
- 15:43Speaker 3: to study. I don't like to read anything.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Anything. Anybody talks to you about, you know the answer correctly,
- 15:48Speaker 6: like they could mention a song, a movie, a politician.
- 15:51Speaker 6: You just remember everything, So it's not a trick. It's
- 15:54Speaker 6: not something like you you did not a trick but
- 15:56Speaker 6: you never went.
- 15:57Speaker 3: To It's just some are lucky. I got a photographic memory.
- 16:01Speaker 1: They remember every day.
- 16:02Speaker 4: All right, Thanks Mark.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I remember I was talking this with Larry King once
- 16:06Speaker 3: and he said, that's because we don't like to prepare
- 16:08Speaker 3: anything when we go on the are We like to
- 16:10Speaker 3: just be spontaneous. So you have to be able to
- 16:12Speaker 3: remember everything. Otherwise you'd need a lot of notes in
- 16:14Speaker 3: front of you. Hey, that thing about and their dependence
- 16:17Speaker 3: on foreign oil. I don't know if I could find it,
- 16:21Speaker 3: but from a couple of years ago, somebody put together
- 16:23Speaker 3: a clip of every presidential candidate for fifty years promising
- 16:28Speaker 3: to end their dependence on foreign oil. Republican Democrat every
- 16:32Speaker 3: candidate for fifty years. First person to do it was
- 16:35Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Let's go to Linda in Long Island. Linda,
- 16:38Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 16:40Speaker 7: Hi, Mark, I'm not doing my imitation today.
- 16:44Speaker 3: You mean the mar Lago women? How are you those women?
- 16:49Speaker 7: Yes, I'll do it next time. I just want to help,
- 16:52Speaker 7: you know, just get to the point. Oh, get to
- 16:54Speaker 7: the point. Okay, okay, now you mentioned Letici James. Now
- 17:00Speaker 7: I want to know how come she went up to Trump.
- 17:03Speaker 7: Everyone knows was a phony, garbage. And then we heard
- 17:08Speaker 7: that she really They have evidence she really did it.
- 17:12Speaker 5: And what is it?
- 17:15Speaker 3: Well, so far you get these crazy left wing judges.
- 17:19Speaker 3: You had a crazy left wing judge in New York.
- 17:21Speaker 3: She presented this case against Trump, accusing him of a
- 17:24Speaker 3: crime that would actually be impossible to commit. And our
- 17:26Speaker 3: greatest legal scholar, Alan Dershowitz said he read the thing
- 17:30Speaker 3: a thousand times, still can't figure out what the crime
- 17:32Speaker 3: is in there. But you get a left wing judge. Now,
- 17:37Speaker 3: everything Trump was convicted of, everything will be overturned on appeal.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It'll go to a normal court. That's why they're delaying
- 17:44Speaker 3: the appeal. You remember he was convicted by Alvin Bragg,
- 17:48Speaker 3: convicted by Letitia James. Well, normally an appeal would take
- 17:51Speaker 3: place in a few months. It's been about two years now,
- 17:54Speaker 3: still no appeal. The Democrats control the court process here
- 17:58Speaker 3: in New York. They're delivered holding up the appeal because
- 18:02Speaker 3: all the charges will immediately be tossed out, so they're
- 18:05Speaker 3: not letting the appeal move forward. Let's go to Bob
- 18:08Speaker 3: in Montvale. Bob, how you doing doing good?
- 18:11Speaker 5: Mark? Thanks for taking my call. You know, Steve Moore
- 18:14Speaker 5: brought up about Exxon leaving out of New Jersey and
- 18:17Speaker 5: it's really it's their illegal entity. And the timing of
- 18:21Speaker 5: their announcement was just as Mickey Cheryl was announcing her announcement.
- 18:26Speaker 5: But you know, Exxon's claim is it's impossible to get
- 18:30Speaker 5: things done in New Jersey from a business perspective and
- 18:33Speaker 5: a legal perspective, yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 3: It's a mess. You know, if you had a restaurant,
- 18:36Speaker 3: you know it's all your top customers are leaving and
- 18:38Speaker 3: never coming back, you'd say maybe I'd better change something here. Well,
- 18:41Speaker 3: if you're a state and you're a governor and your
- 18:43Speaker 3: top corporations are all pulling out and leaving. They're politicians.
- 18:48Speaker 3: It would never occur to them to say, well, let's
- 18:49Speaker 3: change something. Let's go to Jack in Putnam Valley. Jack,
- 18:53Speaker 3: how you doing? Good morning, Mark, Yes Jack, I'm just
- 18:59Speaker 3: Bruce blackmane running for governor, Bruce Blakeman.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:04Speaker 8: I hope he makes it. But I tried to volunteer.
- 19:07Speaker 8: I'm maybe three years old. I try to volunteer. All
- 19:10Speaker 8: they want is money. They send me letters, send me, well, you.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Know, they want volunteers. It's a little early for that
- 19:15Speaker 3: because the race isn't till November. But send them some money.
- 19:19Speaker 3: They go to I think it's what is it Blakeman
- 19:21Speaker 3: from New York dot Com.
- 19:23Speaker 8: Yes, but it's not too early for me to put
- 19:25Speaker 8: bumper stickers on my.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Yeah, bumper don't mean anything anymore.
- 19:30Speaker 8: But get his name there.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Well, he's a pretty well known guy. But you can
- 19:35Speaker 3: already put bumper stickers. You don't have to go through
- 19:37Speaker 3: the campaign. You're allowed to put your own bumper stickers on.
- 19:41Speaker 8: Well, the head of the the Republican thing and putting
- 19:43Speaker 8: them Valley doesn't even know his name.
- 19:45Speaker 3: You know, it's putting the valley we're talking about normal places.
- 19:48Speaker 3: We're talking about the civilized world. Okay, it's very beautiful there.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Thanks for calling. Yeah, if you want to help, Bruce Blakeman,
- 19:54Speaker 3: you want to help, donate volunteer by Blakeman from New
- 19:57Speaker 3: York dot Com. Let's go to n in Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 20:01Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 20:02Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, Mark. I'm okay.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Mark.
- 20:04Speaker 4: My girlfriend and I last night are watching an Italian
- 20:07Speaker 4: quiz show and there's a multiple choice question and the
- 20:12Speaker 4: question was, besides New York, which has the highest rental
- 20:19Speaker 4: market meaning cost to rent an apartment? And it was
- 20:23Speaker 4: Los Angeles, Colorado, Boston and another another city, Which city
- 20:28Speaker 4: would you believe second to New York has the highest
- 20:31Speaker 4: rental market? I'm the talking Miami, Boston, Oh, okay.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Boston and figures, blue cities, blue states. Mark, these judges,
- 20:43Speaker 2: what's going to take for these judges to get some
- 20:46Speaker 2: sense into their head? One night as they're coming home
- 20:50Speaker 2: and they don't have their guards with them, somebody has
- 20:53Speaker 2: to stick a gun.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Vincent. We don't want to hear that. We can't do
- 20:56Speaker 3: you can't do that.
- 20:58Speaker 4: I don't know, we don't.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Vincent, we don't want to hear that. But I understand you.
- 21:02Speaker 3: That's say I understand the strong feelings. But de Vincent,
- 21:06Speaker 3: thanks for calling. Hey when we come back. The great
- 21:08Speaker 3: comedian and talk show host Jimmy Fayla. He's on w
- 21:12Speaker 3: R every night at nine, Fox News Saturday nights at
- 21:15Speaker 3: ten with a great late night show. We'll talk to
- 21:17Speaker 3: him next on seven to ten wor.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Insight from the Inside. This is seven ten wrs Mark
- 21:27Speaker 5: Tramone Show.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Well, the great Jimmy Fayla. He's got a wonderful show
- 21:32Speaker 3: every night here on WR nine to midnight, great show,
- 21:36Speaker 3: very funny nine to midnight every night, and he does
- 21:39Speaker 3: the best late night talk show on television Saturday nights
- 21:42Speaker 3: at ten o'clock on the Fox News channels. One of
- 21:44Speaker 3: President Trump's favorite shows. He's said so many times, Jimmy Fayla,
- 21:49Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 21:51Speaker 5: You know what? I'm pretty good man. I am starving
- 21:55Speaker 5: myself into TV shape because I just got the word
- 21:58Speaker 5: mark that I'm going to be hosting from the White
- 21:59Speaker 5: House Correspondence Dinner down in DC.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Oh.
- 22:02Speaker 5: And I don't know if you know this, but I'm
- 22:04Speaker 5: the only TV host who's not on Ozenbic. It is
- 22:08Speaker 5: just me, and that's why all of these cable news
- 22:11Speaker 5: people are so angry all the time.
- 22:13Speaker 1: They're starving. I figured it out.
- 22:15Speaker 5: That's why they're mad. They're just they're all hungry. That's
- 22:18Speaker 5: why I'm always in a good mood. I'm clearly eating.
- 22:21Speaker 1: But I guess I got to get my life together.
- 22:22Speaker 5: They just told me a little while.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Ago, so I got a couple of weeks to pull
- 22:26Speaker 1: it together.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Have you seen Oprah lately? She's like a toothpick now, I.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Saw that, like the Oprah. What I don't get is
- 22:33Speaker 5: because she said she used one of those drugs. But
- 22:35Speaker 5: if you have Oprah money, you could literally pay somebody
- 22:39Speaker 5: to make it fun and karate kick the food out
- 22:41Speaker 5: of your hands. You know, if I was Oprah, I'd
- 22:44Speaker 5: hire one of those MMA guys.
- 22:46Speaker 1: To come and tackle me when I went for the pizza.
- 22:48Speaker 5: At least make it interesting, you know, you just get
- 22:50Speaker 5: the shot like the rest of us boring.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Hey, the White House Correspondence dinner, first time in a
- 22:56Speaker 3: long time. The President will be there.
- 22:57Speaker 5: President Trump will be there, and yeah, yeah, that's good news.
- 23:02Speaker 5: I'm hoping to interview him before the show, although we
- 23:06Speaker 5: may see him on the red carpet during it. They're
- 23:08Speaker 5: working out all of those logistics. Now. You know the
- 23:11Speaker 5: problem is if I go to the White House, I
- 23:13Speaker 5: have to pass a background check, which is, you know,
- 23:16Speaker 5: so mark the last thing they need me to do,
- 23:18Speaker 5: and it is getting purp walked out of the White.
- 23:20Speaker 1: House with a camera crew because.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Some guy I cut off in my taxi twelve years
- 23:25Speaker 5: ago and never paid the fee or something crazy. But
- 23:29Speaker 5: he's gonna be there, and it's gonna be a high
- 23:31Speaker 5: ocane night because he did not go at any point
- 23:34Speaker 5: during his first term. He skipped last year. But he's
- 23:38Speaker 5: showing up.
- 23:38Speaker 1: He's going to do a routine and I'll have.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Three hours on the red carpet with somebody else who
- 23:44Speaker 5: shows up, and it's pretty wild. I did this two
- 23:46Speaker 5: years ago, and you'd be surprised who winds up on
- 23:51Speaker 5: your show, even as a Fox show. Like two years ago,
- 23:54Speaker 5: I had Lesser Holt on, I had you know, Outroke around.
- 23:57Speaker 5: I even had Saana Savannah Guffrey on, obviously in a
- 24:00Speaker 5: better time for her. I had the cast of The
- 24:02Speaker 5: Gaily Show on. Because everybody kind of is forced to
- 24:06Speaker 5: coexist for one night. It's kind of like a wedding
- 24:09Speaker 5: where the bride's parents got divorced. But it works. You know,
- 24:13Speaker 5: there's an open bar, so it all comes together in
- 24:15Speaker 5: the end. So yeah, I'm hyped up for this.
- 24:17Speaker 3: When is it?
- 24:19Speaker 5: It's Saturday night, April twenty six. Oh okay, so it's
- 24:22Speaker 5: like a month away, that's what I mean. So I've
- 24:25Speaker 5: got one month. They basically like when whenever you get
- 24:28Speaker 5: a big assignment like this at Fox, you know it's
- 24:30Speaker 5: coming because the wardrobe team shows up to empty out
- 24:33Speaker 5: your fridge. That's how you know.
- 24:35Speaker 1: It doesn't even start with clothing.
- 24:38Speaker 3: You don't have to lose. What Hey, you and President
- 24:40Speaker 3: Trump love pretty much the same size, aren't you, I guess.
- 24:44Speaker 5: But he's the president. Like, I don't know it works.
- 24:48Speaker 5: I mean, the truth is, I'm not you know. I
- 24:50Speaker 5: talk about about myself like I'm seven hundred pounds, But
- 24:53Speaker 5: the truth is, I'm like a two hundred and forty
- 24:55Speaker 5: pound guy who's trapped in a seven hundred pound guy's
- 24:58Speaker 5: body because I come from one of.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Those big Italian My family's half Italian.
- 25:02Speaker 5: Half Sicilian excuse me, half Polish, and they just never
- 25:06Speaker 5: stop feeding you like ever. It's like a hazing ritual.
- 25:10Speaker 5: It's not even dinner, and so that being my background,
- 25:14Speaker 5: my default is to talk to you about food at
- 25:15Speaker 5: all times.
- 25:16Speaker 3: How many times you've seen a big star who's fat,
- 25:18Speaker 3: They lose all their weight and they don't look as
- 25:21Speaker 3: good and they're not as funny, and they're not as whatever.
- 25:23Speaker 3: It happens all the time. Even Oprah doesn't look so good.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Then no, because what happens is you really.
- 25:29Speaker 5: Do lose the energy in your face a lot. We
- 25:32Speaker 5: all know somebody who's lost too much weight. You know,
- 25:35Speaker 5: Al Roker and Al Sharpston have a similar issue. They
- 25:38Speaker 5: don't look well. They're healthier, but they don't look healthier
- 25:41Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, because you kind of lose
- 25:43Speaker 5: a little of the soul in your face that I mean,
- 25:45Speaker 5: I'm not, I'm dead serious.
- 25:47Speaker 1: That's why I.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Would never do it, you know.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Because you know, your job as a comedian.
- 25:51Speaker 5: If you think back to Rodney Dangerfield, is to show
- 25:54Speaker 5: up and be goofy. Yeah, it's not that nobody wants
- 25:57Speaker 5: to look at a comedian with abs. Okay, we're supposed
- 26:01Speaker 5: to make you feel better about yourself. Well, you buy
- 26:04Speaker 5: the two drinks and eat the potato.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Skin, you know, Hey, Jimmy Faylor Today is the sixth
- 26:12Speaker 3: anniversary of the day we locked down the whole country
- 26:15Speaker 3: and the pandemic lockdown began.
- 26:19Speaker 5: Wow, well that's crazy. And you think about that, What
- 26:24Speaker 5: did you go? I yeah, so my this is funny story.
- 26:27Speaker 5: My radio show, Fox Across America, launched five days earlier.
- 26:32Speaker 5: We launched on March ninth, twenty twenty. The premise of
- 26:35Speaker 5: the show was Fox across America. He's a comedian, he's
- 26:37Speaker 5: in all these markets. We're going to send him on
- 26:39Speaker 5: the road. And five days in the show became Fox
- 26:42Speaker 5: across Zoom And.
- 26:45Speaker 8: I spent the next six months doing radio.
- 26:48Speaker 5: On Zoom like I was in Ayatola, in hiding.
- 26:51Speaker 1: And all I can say to people, because everybody got you.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Know, some people gained way, some people you know, grew
- 26:58Speaker 5: their hair too long. You know, all I can say is,
- 27:01Speaker 5: you know your drinking was bad if you got kicked
- 27:03Speaker 5: out of a Zoom cocktail party, which sorry, we gotta
- 27:08Speaker 5: mute you.
- 27:09Speaker 3: That was me. He speaking of that Ayatola, he's now
- 27:12Speaker 3: threatening a marriage, just issued another statement where he's gonna
- 27:15Speaker 3: go after us. So should we be worried about this
- 27:17Speaker 3: new Ayatola?
- 27:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I get to it's fun though, because you've never
- 27:21Speaker 5: been threatened by a piece of cardboard before. You know, like,
- 27:25Speaker 5: this guy in't alive. Somebody wrote that statement for him.
- 27:29Speaker 5: If he is alive, he's barely alive. And the idea
- 27:32Speaker 5: that they're talking tough, and some of the liberal networks
- 27:35Speaker 5: are trying to make the case that a Ram's doing well,
- 27:37Speaker 5: I'm like, guys, they just inaugurated their last leader at Staples.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Okay, it was a printout.
- 27:44Speaker 5: Of a photo. That's not an inauguration, that's not a
- 27:48Speaker 5: country intact. So hopefully they stay.
- 27:51Speaker 1: The course because, you know, as good as it was
- 27:53Speaker 1: to maybe get rid of the nuts and the ballistic missiles,
- 27:56Speaker 1: the endgame is, you know.
- 27:57Speaker 5: You do need a friendlier regime there. If it just
- 28:00Speaker 5: ends up being his family or their family, then we're
- 28:02Speaker 5: going to wind up back here in a few years.
- 28:04Speaker 5: So I'm hoping they just clean the thing out completely.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Yeah, when you get a statement from him, it's like
- 28:09Speaker 3: getting one from Joe Biden. It's an auto pen job.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You don't know who wrote it.
- 28:12Speaker 3: So, hey, Jimmy Faylo, these democrats, where did they get
- 28:18Speaker 3: the nerve to complain about gas prices? All they do
- 28:21Speaker 3: is drive up gas prices.
- 28:23Speaker 5: I mean never it was five oh one under Biden.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I mean on Long Island where I grew up in Levittown, you.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Know, I mean, you know what it was in the city.
- 28:31Speaker 5: My cab drivers that gas up at the BT which
- 28:34Speaker 5: might have become a shell over on Tenth Avenue. You're
- 28:36Speaker 5: paying like six twenty five on the West side of
- 28:39Speaker 5: Manhattan under Biden. So we're three dollars below that. So
- 28:44Speaker 5: it's again when Democrats tell you the gas prices are
- 28:47Speaker 5: too high, it's like Bill Cosby telling you the drinks
- 28:49Speaker 5: are too strong. It's like, I don't know.
- 28:53Speaker 3: So Hey, Jimmy Fayl is on w r every night
- 28:57Speaker 3: nine to midnight. It's a great show. It's really funny, interesting.
- 29:00Speaker 3: You should listen to him nine to midnight every weeknight.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Who do you have on tonight?
- 29:04Speaker 5: Ooh, Kennedy's back, So we got to get the dumb
- 29:07Speaker 5: button ready. She'll be back to.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Talk MTV and we're getting it's funny.
- 29:13Speaker 5: We have a special guest coming from the White House.
- 29:15Speaker 5: But this is one of those weeks where they don't
- 29:16Speaker 5: tell me who. Sometimes they do that. I think I
- 29:18Speaker 5: mentioned the news once before. We'll get an email to
- 29:21Speaker 5: like Hey, we have a guest for you tonight in
- 29:22Speaker 5: the second hour of the show, and.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I'll be like, all right, great, I'll start working on it.
- 29:25Speaker 5: Who's coming on? And they don't tell you.
- 29:27Speaker 8: I'm not kidding.
- 29:27Speaker 1: It's the funniest thing in the world.
- 29:29Speaker 5: The last time Tom.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Holman was on, I didn't know he was on un
- 29:31Speaker 1: till I got.
- 29:32Speaker 5: To knock on my studio door and he was there
- 29:34Speaker 5: in studio at secret service like you got. I'm like, yo, Homan,
- 29:37Speaker 5: you gotta give me time to hide my drugs. Man,
- 29:39Speaker 5: you can't show up like this.
- 29:41Speaker 3: So well, surprise guests tonight and don't miss it nine
- 29:45Speaker 3: to midnight every weeknight on WR And if you haven't
- 29:48Speaker 3: watched it, make sure you start watching his Saturday night show,

- 29:57Speaker 3: that stuff. Jimmy Fala always great talk, Thanks for being.

- 30:15Speaker 3: nine o'clock every night, and you know, Curtis Sliwa is back.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Curtis is on every morning with Larry Minti here on
- 30:22Speaker 3: seven to ten, wr.
- 30:24Speaker 5: Marksilon on doubr.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Well, hey, it'll be another intense day of bombing in Iran. Now,
- 30:33Speaker 3: remember we took out the nuclear sites many many months ago,
- 30:37Speaker 3: but is believe that they had other mountains where underneath
- 30:42Speaker 3: those mountains that were storing more nuclear material for future
- 30:47Speaker 3: nuclear plants. So we've been taking out those mountains and
- 30:49Speaker 3: then yeah, taken out mountains. This is with these massive
- 30:54Speaker 3: bunker buster bombs. The B fifty two's dropping the most incredible,
- 31:00Speaker 3: like seventy thousand ton bombs on these So they're releasing
- 31:04Speaker 3: pictures of these mountains that have been just removed, looking
- 31:07Speaker 3: for stuff down there. The crazy new Iyah Toola, son
- 31:11Speaker 3: of the old Iatola, looks like the reports coming out.
- 31:17Speaker 3: He was so wounded in the attack. His leg has
- 31:20Speaker 3: been amputated. He's in a coma, issuing crazy statements. But
- 31:25Speaker 3: we'll see what comes to that. Anyway. Well, I'll be
- 31:28Speaker 3: back tomorrow ten to noon. I'm here every day from
