- 0:05Speaker 1: Hey, Rama, Freddie Rodriguez.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Yeah, welcome back to those amigos. Is this part two
- 0:10Speaker 2: of our conversation with my Jimmy Churi. I'mna Pacheco. I
- 0:14Speaker 2: hear we're going to play a little game.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Yeah, we are.
- 0:16Speaker 2: But before we play a game, we had a few
- 0:18Speaker 2: more burning questions. Right, what was your perspective when we
- 0:23Speaker 2: first started meeting? I mean, you know you also, I
- 0:26Speaker 2: think we should really ask her about this. But but
- 0:29Speaker 2: that's a really funny.
- 0:30Speaker 1: St She's like, I got a different story.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I mean, do you want to talk about why you
- 0:35Speaker 3: fell in love with my dad first?
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:38Speaker 3: So if you've seen like his interviews, you know he's
- 0:42Speaker 3: talked a little bit about this. But when Wilmer reached
- 0:47Speaker 3: out to me, he had you know, we were just
- 0:50Speaker 3: talking and chatting and he had said something in Spanish,
- 0:55Speaker 3: and I replied back, oh, you know, I know, I
- 0:57Speaker 3: look like I'm just a white girl, but I'm actually
- 0:59Speaker 3: my and I know Spanish, like I can understand what
- 1:03Speaker 3: you're saying. And then he's like, oh, well, in that case,
- 1:06Speaker 3: he starts sending me messages in Spanish, and I'm like,
- 1:12Speaker 3: I can understand it, and so I instantly like hit
- 1:18Speaker 3: up my dad and I remember this all like so clearly.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It's crazy, how vividly, like every piece of this story is.
- 1:26Speaker 3: I was like literally lying in my bed. I was
- 1:29Speaker 3: like off work that day, and I hit up my
- 1:33Speaker 3: dad and I was like, Dad, you know, and I'm
- 1:34Speaker 3: telling him everything that's going on, and I'm telling him like, oh,
- 1:37Speaker 3: I have to respond to this message because I told
- 1:40Speaker 3: this guy that I spoke Spanish and I was fluent,
- 1:43Speaker 3: and now I don't know what to say.
- 1:45Speaker 4: And so he's like, Okay, well, shoot, what are you saying?
- 1:48Speaker 3: So I tell him what he said and he starts
- 1:50Speaker 3: laughing and he's just responds right. So I repeat it
- 1:54Speaker 3: back to my dad. I'm like, sounds good, Like do
- 1:56Speaker 3: I sound good? He's like, yeah, great, send it. Send
- 2:00Speaker 3: the message. Boom sends me one immediately after. I was like,
- 2:05Speaker 3: so then I have to like I'm like still on
- 2:07Speaker 3: the phone with my dad. Meanwhile, my dad is like working,
- 2:10Speaker 3: he's trucking, driving on the road, and so I'm like, ah,
- 2:15Speaker 3: he messaged me back already, and so I'm like, this
- 2:17Speaker 3: is what he said. This goes on for a while,
- 2:21Speaker 3: back and forth we're talking. Then he sends me voice
- 2:23Speaker 3: message and I'm like, oh, so then so then it's like,
- 2:29Speaker 3: you know, it's like next level has to speak it. Yeah,
- 2:34Speaker 3: and it gets worse because eventually we have to meet
- 2:36Speaker 3: in person and so so yeah, so that goes on
- 2:42Speaker 3: and then yeah, we ended up meeting in person.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And I'm like, wait, did you answer the voicemail?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounded great. I mean I had a really
- 2:54Speaker 3: great teacher, so I few, but yeah, and then you
- 2:58Speaker 3: know he wants to meet in person, and so we
- 3:01Speaker 3: ended up meaning in person.
- 3:02Speaker 4: And I remember that like super clear.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I drove by and if you've ever been to zinc,
- 3:08Speaker 3: you can see, you know, where the outdoor patio is.
- 3:12Speaker 3: So when you're driving by, like I saw him sitting
- 3:14Speaker 3: there and I'm looking over and I'm like, oh my god, Like,
- 3:16Speaker 3: first of all, he's there already, Like am I late?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Are you early on time? I don't know, but you.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Were sitting there, and I remember there was no parking.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I just moved to LA and I'm just realizing like, wow,
- 3:28Speaker 3: there's nowhere to park.
- 3:29Speaker 4: This is crazy madness place.
- 3:32Speaker 3: But there was Valet and so I'm like, I'm from Rockland,
- 3:37Speaker 3: Like there's not Valet, Like no one valets and so
- 3:40Speaker 3: I remember I parked really far away because I was like,
- 3:43Speaker 3: I'm got a valet, so I parked like yeah, no,
- 3:48Speaker 3: so I parked super far away. And then I'm walking
- 3:52Speaker 3: up I see him and then I but I remember again,
- 3:56Speaker 3: I'm on the phone with my dad like as I'm
- 3:59Speaker 3: driving there, and I'm like, oh my god, I see him.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And we were joking that I was going to need
- 4:03Speaker 3: like an earpiece because I was like yeah, and then
- 4:09Speaker 3: uh but yeah, I mean he realized quickly that I was.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Actually not speaking Spanish to me.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's like, so who was who was that?
- 4:19Speaker 3: And then then your dad and I was like, wow,
- 4:22Speaker 3: so maybe maybe he should.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Come to Yeah, should come to coffee, because so interested,
- 4:30Speaker 5: but there's there's sense of humor, was so alike and
- 4:33Speaker 5: so and then I met her dad and I was like,
- 4:36Speaker 5: this is my guy.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So he's he's such a great friend to me and
- 4:40Speaker 2: and such a beautiful member of her family and it's
- 4:42Speaker 2: just it's just so fun. But anyway, so his father,
- 4:45Speaker 2: his father, her father made it, you know, like such
- 4:50Speaker 2: a great entry point. I was like, oh, I love
- 4:52Speaker 2: for him to meet my father. And then it was magical.
- 4:57Speaker 2: My dad is like my dad is like a party
- 5:00Speaker 2: in a small little kitchen. Like he just likes to
- 5:02Speaker 2: cook and hosts people and all that. And as soon
- 5:05Speaker 2: as Armando and my dad met, it was like instant
- 5:09Speaker 2: compared instant compa I can see that. Oh my god,
- 5:13Speaker 2: they laugh all the time. My dad cooks him dinner
- 5:16Speaker 2: every night. It's like the whole thing. But he just
- 5:20Speaker 2: became such a strong and important member of our family.
- 5:23Speaker 2: And then you know, we made this decision that like,
- 5:26Speaker 2: you know, we we got engaged.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah, so how many months after your dating
- 5:31Speaker 1: that you got.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Engaged It was more like seconds, I think, No, it
- 5:36Speaker 4: was like a year.
- 5:37Speaker 2: It was about a year.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it was about a year.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And well, you know, you know, but also also like
- 5:43Speaker 2: we were at a point of our lives and our
- 5:46Speaker 2: age where we're like, okay, you know, what do we
- 5:47Speaker 2: want from life? You know, and and it felt to
- 5:52Speaker 2: me like our worlds were aligning and the fact that
- 5:55Speaker 2: our interests were, you know, finding its place at the
- 5:58Speaker 2: right time, at the right place. So when we got engaged,
- 6:02Speaker 2: during that year, we were on a bunch of trips
- 6:04Speaker 2: together and one of those trips was to Japan. And
- 6:07Speaker 2: when we were to Japan, that's when we said I
- 6:09Speaker 2: love you to each other for the first time. And
- 6:11Speaker 2: that's when our conversation was like, okay, what are our
- 6:14Speaker 2: intentions here? You know. So when we had this conversation,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you know, it felt like we were on the same
- 6:20Speaker 2: place at the sun. You know, we were at the
- 6:22Speaker 2: same mindset and and we realized that what we were
- 6:27Speaker 2: with each other was a family. And then as soon
- 6:30Speaker 2: as that happened, we you know, we were engaged and
- 6:33Speaker 2: the whole thing. And and then all of a sudden
- 6:35Speaker 2: we got hey with COVID and we were in the
- 6:38Speaker 2: middle of planning a wedding. And then during COVID they're like, oh,
- 6:41Speaker 2: it's going to be done in April. They said, okay, well,
- 6:44Speaker 2: and then when he wasn't that in April, they were like, okay,
- 6:48Speaker 2: so what's more important to us the wedding or started
- 6:51Speaker 2: a family, And that's when the kind of became a possibility. So,
- 6:56Speaker 2: but that was such an interesting time too. I remember,
- 7:01Speaker 2: you have to experience so many things on our own
- 7:05Speaker 2: really because it was COVID, you know, like you have
- 7:08Speaker 2: to have your first how was how was.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So during COVID, what was the biggest surprise about each other?
- 7:13Speaker 1: That you that you realized I mean, because right you're
- 7:17Speaker 1: forced to be with yes in each other's face. Like
- 7:19Speaker 1: what was what was what was the biggest surprise for me?
- 7:25Speaker 3: I guess for me it was like even further back,
- 7:29Speaker 3: like when we were traveling a bunch, like just his
- 7:33Speaker 3: level of patience with me, because I feel like I'm
- 7:36Speaker 3: not like super you know, complicated, but I definitely like
- 7:44Speaker 3: have my own way of going about things, and so
- 7:47Speaker 3: traveling like I was like, you know, sometimes we'd get
- 7:51Speaker 3: to the airport and then I was like, you know,
- 7:52Speaker 3: he'd be like checklists, like do you have this?
- 7:54Speaker 4: You have this? Yeah, I've got everything.
- 7:56Speaker 3: We get to the airport, I'm like I don't have
- 7:58Speaker 3: my passport and we're always late. So like there was
- 8:02Speaker 3: like a lot of, you know instances where like I
- 8:07Speaker 3: got to sell like see so many sides of him
- 8:11Speaker 3: that I was like, he could have responded and reacted
- 8:13Speaker 3: so differently to so many different like scenarios that I
- 8:18Speaker 3: put ourselves in, And when I saw how he handled
- 8:22Speaker 3: those situations, I was like, Okay, like wow, this person
- 8:26Speaker 3: has you know, so much just like patience.
- 8:30Speaker 4: For me, and like I don't know just I was.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I was pleasantly surprised at like how like gentle you
- 8:38Speaker 3: are with like you know, how you handle situations.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I feel so seen the first time. No my advice
- 8:49Speaker 2: versa though. I mean, like I told this story for
- 8:52Speaker 2: probably three years. We go to Houston, Texas. We're going
- 8:56Speaker 2: there for Comic Poloosa, and I'm HOSTINGLUSA with the two
- 9:02Speaker 2: lead girls of Game of Throns and we're there and
- 9:05Speaker 2: then it's like a lot of work and we're doing
- 9:07Speaker 2: this thing and I'm there and I'm like, okay, they
- 9:10Speaker 2: don't need me downstairs until eleven. I was working the
- 9:14Speaker 2: night before whatever, like let's just I'm gonna take a
- 9:16Speaker 2: little nap, you know. When I wake up from the nap,
- 9:22Speaker 2: my clothes were were hanging and there was a steamer
- 9:28Speaker 2: that had just been you know, used for the shirt.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And I was like, somebody come up and doing that stuff.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And I was asked her who who steamed my clothes?
- 9:39Speaker 2: And she was like I did, And I said, what,
- 9:45Speaker 2: why why do my clothes? She goes, where are you
- 9:48Speaker 2: gonna wear?
- 9:48Speaker 3: This?
- 9:48Speaker 2: Stuff's wrankled, like I'm probably not right, and then she
- 9:51Speaker 2: just walked out like duh, one plus one equals too.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And I was like, oh okay, Like you know, I've
- 10:00Speaker 2: been so self maintained and self soothed, you know, for
- 10:06Speaker 2: so long that it felt like that was such an
- 10:09Speaker 2: interesting moment, right, Like it's like to to to do that.
- 10:12Speaker 2: But the point I'm making with the the Houston thing,
- 10:15Speaker 2: it was like and I was like, where did you
- 10:18Speaker 2: get a steamer? And she had like order it the
- 10:21Speaker 2: night before and and like packed it in her back
- 10:24Speaker 2: because she was most likely going to use it and
- 10:26Speaker 2: then she used it on my shirts and then here.
- 10:29Speaker 3: And you tell that story so many times makes me
- 10:31Speaker 3: realize that I should probably give you more stories like
- 10:34Speaker 3: that to tell.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's that stories.
- 10:38Speaker 1: What is it?
- 10:38Speaker 2: Seven years old? And now you know definitely went the
- 10:42Speaker 2: other way around. No, I'm kidding, No, that's meaningful. That's
- 10:45Speaker 2: very meaningful to ye. But that was all those first
- 10:48Speaker 2: instances where like, same thing, we were noticing different aspects
- 10:52Speaker 2: of how we were treating one another in that moment,
- 10:54Speaker 2: and it just kind of paved the road for the
- 10:56Speaker 2: for the possibility. You know. But I know in so
- 11:02Speaker 2: many ways, the arrival of our family. Yea father, yeah,
- 11:06Speaker 2: now his fatherhood and motherhood and and uh, you know,
- 11:09Speaker 2: she makes it look easy. You know, she makes it
- 11:11Speaker 2: look really easy. I was I was a sitar zign
- 11:14Speaker 2: night twice now witnessing her bring uh two miracles of
- 11:20Speaker 2: children into into our world. And I always say this, like,
- 11:25Speaker 2: and we don't deserve the sacrifice that women go through
- 11:29Speaker 2: to you know, to bring you know, children into into
- 11:32Speaker 2: our world. And and it's something just like extraordinary, you know,
- 11:37Speaker 2: to to watch it, to see it, to experience it,
- 11:39Speaker 2: to feel it is life changing, is life changing for
- 11:44Speaker 2: any man. And you know, she did it with a smile.
- 11:48Speaker 2: It's like really she went in there and she's like, Okay,
- 11:51Speaker 2: let's go have this baby. I mean, I be terrified,
- 11:57Speaker 2: you know, but but it is it is. It is
- 11:59Speaker 2: just I'm just a hod of you and everything you're
- 12:02Speaker 2: you've been, you've done for our family and you've made
- 12:05Speaker 2: it as a family for it. Now, so we have
- 12:07Speaker 2: a complete seven months seven week old, seven seven week
- 12:12Speaker 2: old and she's here doing a podcast you know with
- 12:15Speaker 2: brand new Banks.
- 12:16Speaker 1: With brand with brand new banks looking looking fantastic.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Okay, so now you go from dating to like, now
- 12:32Speaker 6: now you have two kids, you know, So what's what's
- 12:35Speaker 6: what's been your take on parenthood with with Wilmer as
- 12:39Speaker 6: a pop, as a pop, as a as a company owner,
- 12:44Speaker 6: as a as a successful thespian, as all of it.
- 12:49Speaker 6: I mean, he's juggling, juggling many many balls, spending many plates.
- 12:58Speaker 1: What's your what's your take on it?
- 13:00Speaker 3: H you had such an interesting question. So, yeah, parenting
- 13:06Speaker 3: has it really was something that I felt like happened
- 13:09Speaker 3: like such a whirlwind because I went from like this,
- 13:15Speaker 3: you know, you heard a little bit about some of
- 13:17Speaker 3: my travels, and I felt like I was just like this,
- 13:21Speaker 3: Like I was just like free.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Free with the wind, honestly, like wherever it took me,
- 13:26Speaker 4: like day by day, like.
- 13:30Speaker 3: And when I met Wilmer, I saw what life could
- 13:34Speaker 3: look like and what life could be, and to me,
- 13:36Speaker 3: that was stability.
- 13:39Speaker 1: That was.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Something that I just id never a different adventure that
- 13:44Speaker 3: I like never had seen for myself. And one of
- 13:48Speaker 3: the biggest things was like becoming a mother. I didn't
- 13:51Speaker 3: see myself as that until I met him. And I
- 13:55Speaker 3: think a lot of that I owe to him, because
- 13:59Speaker 3: I don't want to get emotional, my god, but but yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 3: I started to see that in me because he saw
- 14:09Speaker 3: that in me, and that was something that I had
- 14:12Speaker 3: an experience in any of my other relationships before, because
- 14:17Speaker 3: I don't know if it was because like where I
- 14:19Speaker 3: was at in my life, but it definitely just felt
- 14:23Speaker 3: like this person, you know, saw me as a mother,
- 14:27Speaker 3: and so then therefore, like I start started feeling the
- 14:30Speaker 3: confidence of like, okay, like I could be a mother,
- 14:33Speaker 3: and I started to see myself as a mother. When
- 14:35Speaker 3: I lost to my mom, it was something that I
- 14:37Speaker 3: almost wasn't sure that I wanted to do because I
- 14:41Speaker 3: was like, I don't have my mom here to do
- 14:44Speaker 3: this with, and that scared me. I wanted her to
- 14:50Speaker 3: be a part of that journey with me. But with him,
- 14:56Speaker 3: I felt like I could do anything and he just
- 14:59Speaker 3: like believed in me and saw so much in me,
- 15:03Speaker 3: and so being a parent alongside him, I just feel
- 15:07Speaker 3: like constantly empowered. And you know, I'm seven weeks postpartuer,
- 15:13Speaker 3: so like I'm going to start crying.
- 15:18Speaker 1: What are some of the family traditions that you may
- 15:21Speaker 1: have had as a kid that you're hoping now to
- 15:24Speaker 1: incorporate with Wilmer as a as a husband, as a
- 15:29Speaker 1: as a you know, the father of your two.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I mean we've started, we've started some of our own
- 15:34Speaker 2: that I think unique to us. You know, we've also
- 15:37Speaker 2: embraced some of some of her families as well, because
- 15:42Speaker 2: I think her family does a great job but showing up,
- 15:45Speaker 2: you know, you know, but I I have to say that,
- 15:49Speaker 2: you know, as as busy as I have been and
- 15:53Speaker 2: have become, you know, the relentless search to leave my
- 15:58Speaker 2: family massive legacy where they have nothing else to do,
- 16:01Speaker 2: Like if I'm gone, I'm obsessing over leaving them something
- 16:05Speaker 2: that could take care of them. I think that's kind
- 16:07Speaker 2: of part of the redlandless search for the entrepreneurship and
- 16:10Speaker 2: all that stuff, and like what am I you know,
- 16:13Speaker 2: what am I leaving her? What am I leaving my kids?
- 16:15Speaker 2: You know? And like you know, so that that I
- 16:18Speaker 2: think that takes a lot of you know, commitment in hours.
- 16:22Speaker 2: That being said, Amanda does an incredible job at making
- 16:27Speaker 2: sure that you know, for example, I do set. I
- 16:31Speaker 2: have a double banker, and double Banker is a trailer
- 16:33Speaker 2: that has two different trailers, two different dressing rooms in
- 16:37Speaker 2: one trailer, one for yourself, yes, that one for me,
- 16:40Speaker 2: and then I have the second one for my family.
- 16:44Speaker 2: So you know, we you know, it has their names,
- 16:47Speaker 2: you know, Jimmy, Turi and and Chucky. Yeah, uh in
- 16:52Speaker 2: a canoe, and so they had their own side of
- 16:54Speaker 2: the trailer, which ended up being like we were using
- 16:56Speaker 2: only on the one side, you know. But but the
- 16:59Speaker 2: point is that I want her to know that even
- 17:00Speaker 2: if I'm on set, you know, she has a place
- 17:04Speaker 2: for her, for her and for her family on that set.
- 17:08Speaker 2: The set is incredibly understanding, you know, they understand, Yeah,
- 17:11Speaker 2: I'm out, I'm gone for some reason. My family cannot
- 17:15Speaker 2: just visit me whenever they want to. She has a
- 17:17Speaker 2: permanent drive on, she rolls up, has her space, you know,
- 17:21Speaker 2: and and uh Nakano has her routines with our crafty
- 17:25Speaker 2: chefs who are incredible people, and and she makes her
- 17:29Speaker 2: little sandwiches with them. She's like, she's this is so
- 17:31Speaker 2: she know, she watches n CIA. She has a little
- 17:33Speaker 2: n cis bulletproof vest, you know, baby bulletproof as jackets
- 17:38Speaker 2: for fun. And but we work on that. We work
- 17:42Speaker 2: to figure out that, you know, that this journey that
- 17:44Speaker 2: I'm on is our journey together, you know. And and
- 17:47Speaker 2: it's hard, but it is difficult, right because we do
- 17:51Speaker 2: have a great village around us, right but the time
- 17:55Speaker 2: that the top the stuff that we're building, you know,
- 17:59Speaker 2: it's takes a lot of business hours, you know. But
- 18:04Speaker 2: when it comes to the traditions and coming full circle
- 18:06Speaker 2: to that, Christmas is a big one. You know. There's
- 18:10Speaker 2: a couple of trips a year that we have to make,
- 18:12Speaker 2: you know, and I think sometime throughout the year we
- 18:15Speaker 2: have to go camping this Otherwise he kills me if
- 18:17Speaker 2: a year goes buy and we don't at least go
- 18:20Speaker 2: put up a ten somewhere, even if it's in our backyard,
- 18:23Speaker 2: you know. But I look, I think Christmas is a
- 18:27Speaker 2: big one for us, and in a tradition for us,
- 18:32Speaker 2: I think it's like, you know, finding one or two
- 18:36Speaker 2: times in the year where you're just so spontaneous that
- 18:38Speaker 2: you pick one random place around the world and go.
- 18:41Speaker 2: You know, but yeah, did you want to speak to
- 18:44Speaker 2: traditions a little bit?
- 18:46Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I feel like we're every year like we're starting new traditions,
- 18:50Speaker 3: and we're like trying to think of new traditions to start.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Sometimes it's hard for me because I always want to
- 18:55Speaker 3: do like something new all the time.
- 18:57Speaker 4: So it's like a.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Part of me is like, oh, you know, maybe we
- 19:00Speaker 3: should do that same thing that we did last year.
- 19:02Speaker 3: But and then another part of me is like, yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 3: but I want to do something completely different, that's something
- 19:06Speaker 3: totally new.
- 19:07Speaker 4: So that might even be a tradition.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I think that's our tradition is to like keep it
- 19:13Speaker 2: different every time, you know. But you know, now with kids,
- 19:16Speaker 2: as you know, you build an entire environment where you're like, Okay,
- 19:20Speaker 2: what what is Christmas for Nakano and Wolf? You know,
- 19:26Speaker 2: when we can provide it? What is things giving feel like?
- 19:29Speaker 2: For her? What is that? You know? And and you know,
- 19:32Speaker 2: Amanda is so by the details. She she'll buy all
- 19:36Speaker 2: she goes to Michael's and buys all the arts and
- 19:39Speaker 2: crafts and shall build the Christmas cards from scratch, you know.
- 19:43Speaker 2: She'll decorate the you know, the tree with the different
- 19:47Speaker 2: theme like she she really does it up for for
- 19:52Speaker 2: Nakano and I kinda just lives like a really you know,
- 19:56Speaker 2: magical time. But she also earns it though. Nacana is
- 19:59Speaker 2: like a really really exceptional, smart, smart young girl, and
- 20:03Speaker 2: she's just a brilliant young woman. I hope that when
- 20:05Speaker 2: she listens to this podcast when she's old, she's like,
- 20:07Speaker 2: that's what my parents, you know, thought of me. But
- 20:11Speaker 2: in kind of coming from circle and wrapping it up
- 20:13Speaker 2: a little bit, we have again. You want to play
- 20:16Speaker 2: a game? Yeah?
- 20:17Speaker 1: Yeah, so so this is gonna be a kind of
- 20:20Speaker 1: a quick round, uh game. I'm gonna I'm gonna fire
- 20:24Speaker 1: away some questions, right, and then you all answer as
- 20:27Speaker 1: it comes. Okay, first question, Uh, who is first to
- 20:32Speaker 1: fall asleep during movie night?
- 20:38Speaker 3: Oh?
- 20:38Speaker 2: I don't know. You can flip a coin on that one.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's usually me, but the kind of both of
- 20:44Speaker 3: us kind Yeah, that's a tough one. That's a tiebreaker. Yeah,
- 20:50Speaker 3: trying to sit and watch Usually I would say, usually
- 20:53Speaker 3: me how quickly?
- 20:54Speaker 2: And though I guess, I guess you can do it
- 20:56Speaker 2: like how quickly? In yeah, I think.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Make it past like the credits?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah, or you do oh the credits at the beginning
- 21:06Speaker 1: the open Yeah? Yeah?
- 21:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Who was first to plan an adventurous family trip?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Me?
- 21:13Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, you'll make it like super epic and over
- 21:16Speaker 3: the top, but I will definitely initiate.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Who is more likely to laugh at their own
- 21:25Speaker 1: joke before finishing it?
- 21:28Speaker 2: Shut up? Shut up? I mean the problem is that
- 21:33Speaker 2: I see it before I do it. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Who is more likely to be the stricter parent.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Stricter parent.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Stricter.
- 21:46Speaker 3: We just have like like slightly different parenting styles.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you're I think you're a little bit
- 21:54Speaker 2: more patient.
- 21:56Speaker 4: A little yeah, I mean yeah, I'm way more patient.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yeah, like way more patient, you mean, yeah. I I
- 22:05Speaker 2: want them to understand that it's wrong when it is wrong.
- 22:08Speaker 2: And I think there's some you know, the reasoning is,
- 22:12Speaker 2: I try to make it as simple and as quick
- 22:14Speaker 2: as possible. She has a really caring and loving conversation
- 22:18Speaker 2: about why this is wrong, and I just tell Naconna
- 22:22Speaker 2: she'll never talk to her mother like that again.
- 22:24Speaker 3: But it's like, you know, it's that have different finesss,
- 22:28Speaker 3: Like he wants to tell her once and that's it,
- 22:31Speaker 3: and I want to tell her once also.
- 22:33Speaker 4: But I but like we communicate differently.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's probably the.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Way because of how we grew up, right, Like I
- 22:40Speaker 3: just you grew up with a Latina mom.
- 22:42Speaker 4: I did not few. I grew up with a Latino dad.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Yeah, And he says yes to have, yes, do not play. Yeah,
- 22:51Speaker 2: you know, let's tell you once. But I think it's
- 22:54Speaker 2: like I don't know. For me, I think learning consequence
- 22:58Speaker 2: as soft as this cons Queen's are for her. You know,
- 23:02Speaker 2: it's like invaluable. You know, it's invaluable. And right now,
- 23:05Speaker 2: it's when it becomes truth. You know, once they feel
- 23:09Speaker 2: like they're taller than you, and because she will be
- 23:14Speaker 2: and she's smarter than you, you know, all of a sudden,
- 23:17Speaker 2: they don't have to listen to you anymore.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Who is more likely to cry during a sad movie?
- 23:34Speaker 4: I've definitely seen you like tears?
- 23:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I cry all the time in movie.
- 23:37Speaker 4: She's more emotional than me.
- 23:39Speaker 1: It's just like a tears.
- 23:40Speaker 2: It's the actor in me. It's the actor in me,
- 23:42Speaker 2: you know it is it? No, no, not that I'm notxious.
- 23:48Speaker 4: You hold it together.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I hold it together. I have. I do a very deep,
- 23:52Speaker 2: deep breath.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it.
- 23:57Speaker 2: One of those just let it, let it happen every movie.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I dude, I cried a K Pop Demon Hunter. Yes
- 24:08Speaker 2: I cried that one. And if you've seen the movie
- 24:11Speaker 2: and you're home, you watch the movie, you know exactly
- 24:13Speaker 2: what part of talking. Who is more likely this is
- 24:18Speaker 2: my voice without the lies? Okay.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Who is more likely to say let's order in instead
- 24:25Speaker 1: of cooking?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Yeah me?
- 24:28Speaker 4: Yeah, you love ordering food?
- 24:30Speaker 2: I do love or food. You're right. I also do
- 24:34Speaker 2: love cooking.
- 24:35Speaker 3: I love really, I love like My version of that
- 24:39Speaker 3: is like me saying what I want and then like
- 24:42Speaker 3: cooking together is like me telling you what I want
- 24:45Speaker 3: and then you're cooking and it's my pleasure.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Who is more likely to buy something off of Instagram ads?
- 24:53Speaker 2: Instagram as This is the wrong question, Amazon, Amazon, It's
- 24:59Speaker 2: probably the right question. Who do you think will be?
- 25:02Speaker 4: I mean, I don't leave the house much.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Okay, so min offense, I have to shop online. But
- 25:08Speaker 3: you did just recently get influenced by watching Blippy, did
- 25:13Speaker 3: you not?
- 25:14Speaker 2: Oh? Yes, I was from Blippy and I found the
- 25:17Speaker 2: company that made these bats, so that you know that
- 25:20Speaker 2: they were making that baseball bats. I was like, oh,
- 25:24Speaker 2: those are cool, okay, and I bought two of them
- 25:26Speaker 2: and I went I watch watching Blippy and then I
- 25:29Speaker 2: was like, what was this company? I was the name
- 25:30Speaker 2: of the company, and I went to their Instagram account
- 25:32Speaker 2: and then I found the shop store and I bought
- 25:34Speaker 2: two bats to baseball bats from And so that was Blippy.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Not as embarrassing as Amazon, I don't think. But Amazon,
- 25:44Speaker 2: you know my my my email is also linked to
- 25:47Speaker 2: that account, to the Amazon to the Amazon account, and
- 25:51Speaker 2: so to her credit, she will buy a lot of
- 25:56Speaker 2: little things. She's always looking for the best price. She
- 26:00Speaker 2: ever wants to buy anything full price because she knows
- 26:02Speaker 2: she can find it somewhere else for fifty percent off,
- 26:05Speaker 2: and she normally does so. She's like a lot of
- 26:07Speaker 2: little things that she buys and then like the next
- 26:09Speaker 2: day I get like ten e mils about her returns.
- 26:13Speaker 2: She returns a lot of stuff. But it is it's
- 26:16Speaker 2: it's you know, it's I agree with her, Like, let's
- 26:19Speaker 2: let's feel the toy. Is it cools? What is the thing?
- 26:23Speaker 2: You know, Let's let's shop.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Let's sometimes you just late night shop.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Me. You buy all these things, and all of a sudden,
- 26:28Speaker 3: I'm like, why do I have so many of these
- 26:30Speaker 3: fuzzy onesies?
- 26:31Speaker 2: Liken sit out to Amazon. You know she's here her
- 26:35Speaker 2: first sponsorship.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Man who is more likely to lose their keys or
- 26:42Speaker 1: phone more often?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Hello, definitely not me.
- 26:51Speaker 4: I have like severe adhd I.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Several times, Oh yeah, keys too, But like luckily Nikano,
- 27:02Speaker 3: she is on it. So anytime like I leave my
- 27:04Speaker 3: phone around, she's she keeps tabs on where my phones
- 27:07Speaker 3: at and my keys? Actually, like I'll get in the
- 27:10Speaker 3: car and it's like hot here, and I'll like get
- 27:12Speaker 3: in the car and I'm like shooting all my keys
- 27:14Speaker 3: and she's like, mom, you left them in your other purse.
- 27:17Speaker 4: And I'm like, wow, s show she remembers.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Yeah, she's like, I told you not to leave them there.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Ah. So who's more likely to stay up way too
- 27:28Speaker 1: late scrolling on her phone?
- 27:33Speaker 4: I hate that question?
- 27:35Speaker 3: Why because we both are so bad at it?
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, I mean mine is like mine's a combination,
- 27:42Speaker 2: you know, it's a combination. It's like I can't stop
- 27:45Speaker 2: scrolling through emails or answering emails or texting people back
- 27:48Speaker 2: that I haven't they didn't text from ten in the
- 27:50Speaker 2: morning it's now nine pm. And then like sometimes my
- 27:55Speaker 2: compression is fun is watching like really stupid comedy, Like
- 28:00Speaker 2: you know how many funny ship I send you in
- 28:01Speaker 2: the middle of the night, take one am, and I'm
- 28:03Speaker 2: probably saying you some really stupid stuff on Instagram, But
- 28:06Speaker 2: I just like to laugh. So it's my problem. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:09Speaker 2: and I have a problem with it for sure.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Who's more likely to befriend a stranger instantly at a party?
- 28:17Speaker 4: Also, you.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I can't stop talking to strangers. It's my favorite thing. Yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 2: maybe is it not?
- 28:23Speaker 1: You're you're a people person.
- 28:25Speaker 2: I love it? Yeah, I love it? Am I wrong?
- 28:28Speaker 4: No, it's accurate.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Who's more likely to binge watch a show from start
- 28:33Speaker 1: to finishing a weekend? And and what shows are you
- 28:38Speaker 1: all watching?
- 28:39Speaker 3: Do you think it's because I just have like a
- 28:41Speaker 3: little more time than you needed to watch stuff?
- 28:43Speaker 2: No, I lose interest quick. I lose interest quick, Like
- 28:47Speaker 2: I know if the series is Yeah, that told me
- 28:50Speaker 2: I want or two. But you really give it a shot?
- 28:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Like if I start something, I have to
- 28:56Speaker 3: watch it because otherwise I'll never watch it again.
- 29:00Speaker 4: So yeah, me.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Yeah. What's the one thing about woman that people don't know?
- 29:07Speaker 3: Mmm mm hmmm, I don't know.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Let's see. It's a good question.
- 29:20Speaker 3: That's a good question. There's really no surprises, like you
- 29:25Speaker 3: are what you get?
- 29:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 29:28Speaker 3: Uh? Do people know that you have to order a
- 29:30Speaker 3: hot dog every time you're to the movie theater?
- 29:35Speaker 4: Is that news?
- 29:36Speaker 3: Oh that you didn't know that?
- 29:37Speaker 4: The shots.
- 29:40Speaker 3: And not just what but like you have to order
- 29:43Speaker 3: two hot dogs? Like I.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Feel attacked.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I feel attacked.
- 29:50Speaker 3: When we walk into the theater, like you are in line,
- 29:52Speaker 3: I'm like, what are you doing? We just had dinner,
- 29:54Speaker 3: like he has to get too hot dogs.
- 29:56Speaker 2: It's a weird thing. She's absolutely right, it's a weird thing.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I could have just had a full on you know,
- 30:03Speaker 2: meet sauce pasta with garlic, bread and like dessert. And
- 30:08Speaker 2: I'm like, so let's go watch some movie. I literally
- 30:11Speaker 2: I am hypnotized by the kids. I go straight to
- 30:13Speaker 2: it and I go two hot dogs, now, one, two
- 30:16Speaker 2: hot dogs? You're sure? And I said on my shore, yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 2: two hot dogs, and you know, must catch up. And
- 30:26Speaker 2: then I put hell openions on it, like the pickle
- 30:28Speaker 2: hell opinions, and then it's party one for I have
- 30:32Speaker 2: one hot dog for the trailers, and then one hot.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Dog for is it because like when you were a kid,
- 30:38Speaker 1: it was like traditions, So you're keeping tradition up or what.
- 30:40Speaker 2: It's a weird thing.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Yeah, Amanda, thank you so much for being on the show.
