Transcript
- 0:00I know it's a time of year. You just want to snuggle up,
- 0:02you want to wear your cute little pajamas and you want to sleep in them.
- 0:06Well, man, it's not doing any favors. Sleep experts say you
- 0:11should be sleeping naked, especially in the winter. Seen Now for the record,
- 0:15before I tell you, why do you sleep naked or no? If
- 0:18you care to share, no, totally fine. I used to be very
- 0:21like halle Berry. Remember she was very like, doesn't care naked. Comparing
- 0:26yourself to halle Berry. Nice, Yeah, it's kind of like me,
- 0:29very much like Brad Pitt in a lot of ways, especially when naked.
- 0:35No, just referring to how wild she was, like she just totally didn't
- 0:41care. She admitted to the fact that she would just walk around her house.
- 0:45It's her house, she does her She's like balcony naked, Like,
- 0:48I'm not that crazy. But yeah, sorry, neighbors won't give you that.
- 0:52Won't give you that if I say, if you want to watch,
- 0:56enjoy the show. But now that we have kids, mainly because as they
- 1:00sneak in our bedroom in the middle of the night or they fall asleep by
- 1:03us, that's weird to me. Well, that would be a little shocking
- 1:06if I, as a child snuck in the broom in my mama's naked,
- 1:08that would be not exactly. So I'm we're in the jammies these days,
- 1:11but I get it. Sometimes you're like, it's hot. Well, you're
- 1:15missing out on a number of benefits of sleeping naked. Sleep experts say that
- 1:18when you sleep naked, you sleep better. Your body is it's easier for
- 1:22it to control the temperature, and therefore you can sleep better. And when
- 1:26you sleep better, your skin's going to be better. If you want healthy
- 1:29skin, they say, Oh yes, people who don't get enough sleep tend
- 1:33to be more susceptible to wrinkles. See tell me if you like any of
- 1:38this stuff. Wrinkles, hell, drooping, swelling, geez, and even
- 1:44the appearance of dark circles. Man, so this is why I'm aging so
- 1:49fast, because I'm tossing the jammis on. Huh, what are you talking
- 1:51about? You look we look great. You look the same as when I
- 1:53met you. Not a chance. Oh come on, now, starting to
- 1:57get a little crows for me, laughlines, which is great. I've been
- 2:00well cracking myself up for years. I was about to take credit but no,
- 2:05No, I mean, look at me. Do I look like a
- 2:07guy that sleeps up? No bags on her? My eyes look like hel
- 2:10No? Oh, okay, here's a man to being nice. Come on,
- 2:14now, nobody's more aware than me. But you said you sleep naked,
- 2:16so you shouldn't have this problem. Yes, my skin from the neck
- 2:19down is great. No, I do sleep naked. I don't know.
- 2:23I just don't get I feel like I feel like I'm in a prison when
- 2:25I got shorts or even a shirt to sit really okay, all sweaty anyway,
- 2:30they say that you should definitely be sleeping naked. It's also better for
- 2:32your relationship, they say, weird if we really need the science behind that.
- 2:37Well, the skin to skin contact, you know, it's just nice.
- 2:39Yeah, and it's just like easy access. Well, it does take
- 2:43a step out of the equation, you know, if you don't have to
- 2:45actually take anything off, you're just there. Well, they also say it's
- 2:47good for your self esteem, lowers your stress levels, and then, as
- 2:51we said, promotes intimacy. So I might have to lock the door so
- 2:53the kiddos can't get in. Sounds like I'm missing a lot of health benefits
- 2:58When you're gonna draw the line anyway with the kids coming in? Could you
- 3:00say it's like nightly right last night? No, it just really depends.
- 3:05I mean, with two kids that age three and four, one is bound
- 3:07to wake up, get scared and pop in. That's just kind of the
- 3:10way it is. But what if you say no? What if you lock
- 3:13the door and say no? Figure it out, kiddle you speaking of like
- 3:17the lack of sleep, Pike, It's a lot easier to just like,
- 3:22come on in so I can sleep an extra two hours than like keeping the
- 3:24door locked and then hearing them scream the them have to go get them,
- 3:28and then then it's like all of the things. When they could just come
- 3:31snuggle right next to mom, it's like, okay, cool, whatever.
- 3:35I know. Would you like any more parenting advice from me, a childless
- 3:38person? No, but I thought I locked the door out of sight,
- 3:43out of mind. Figured it out, kidd. In the morning, Bigy
- 3:46eight point seven, here we go a little Monday morning tradish On Pike and
- 3:52Amanda. In the morning, we do something called is it Weird? Where
- 3:53we share the things we do in our private time. We've discussed whether or
- 3:58not they're weird. It's kind of like the all right, I'm giving you
- 4:00out a little curve ball. So we did some traveling over the weekend.
- 4:03And where'd you go? What'd you do? We went to Colorado weekend.
- 4:08Yeah, no, it was awesome. Got to see some family. Nick
- 4:10and I had a little date weekend in Evergreen where we got married. It
- 4:15was awesome. So we're in the airport yesterday and this is in Denver,
- 4:20and we get there early, having some breakfast with the kids. And you
- 4:25know, when you go into an airport bathroom, you see sometimes people who
- 4:28are brushing their teeth. Do they do this in the men's bathroom? Nuh
- 4:31no, not a lot of not a lot of hygiene, taking blades in
- 4:33the men's room. So I've seen this before. That's just gross to me,
- 4:38Like I find that to be weird. Like I get after traveling,
- 4:41you want a shower, you want to brush it, you feel like you
- 4:43want to do it. It just feels gross that you're doing it. So
- 4:46we are sitting at this restaurant yesterday and this lady is walking by, I
- 4:50mean she's in the concourse area brushing her teeth. So first of all,
- 4:56you're not even around to sink. You don't even have water. You just
- 4:59put your toothpaste on, and you're just you're in such a hurry to brush
- 5:02your teeth. You're walking doing it, and my daughter looks at you goes,
- 5:06why is she brushing her teeth? And I wish, honestly, it
- 5:10was one of those moments, you know when you don't want your kids to
- 5:12say things really loud. That was one of those moments. I was hoping
- 5:15Sid was a little bit louder and was gonna just bust her up so you
- 5:18didn't have to, which that is weird. He's at the weird. Some
- 5:21people are so obsessive about brushing their teeth. My mom is one of these
- 5:25people. She'll after every meal, We're talking like eight nine times a day,
- 5:29just brushing her teeth, you know. And I'm all about dental hygiene,
- 5:31trust me, I love having my teeth brushed. But in those situations
- 5:36having them brushed, do you hire it out? It? Is it one
- 5:40of these services you go get. There's a guy or a gal that comes
- 5:44over at three thirty in the morning. Now I give like good morning,
- 5:46I'm here to brush your teeth. The teeth whitening guys here, But you
- 5:51know what I mean, like just throwing up. He's a gum like that
- 5:56can suffice until you get somewhere and yeah, because then yeah, we're going
- 6:00to swallow that toothpaste. But also is your toothbrush that's going in your mouth?
- 6:03So it's you're in the airport, air in the bathroom, I don't
- 6:08know. Oh my gosh, the men's room in an airport horrific. I
- 6:14don't know what the lady is. I can't speak on that. I always
- 6:15feel like there's when you're in an airport, I always feel like there's somebody
- 6:18in there cleaning them, like consistently, like somebody is in there making sure
- 6:23it's all good. But you're right, it's I mean, the particles of
- 6:26the air in that, Oh my gosh. And then probably if you have
- 6:29a toothbrush holder to put it in, you're still just whipping that around.
- 6:33You know. You just got to think that they are either coming from somewhere
- 6:35where they could have brush their teeth or going somewhere where they could probably again,
- 6:40this is a gum situation. Throw some gum in MINTI mint totally weird?
- 6:44What about this? Is it weird that during the holidays, I really
- 6:47I really do hate gifts, everything to do with gifts, giving them,
- 6:54getting them, acting like you're surprised, the pressure of it. I there's
- 6:59I can't think of a single thing about the process that I enjoy, and
- 7:01I would prefer it if we just totally cut it out. You know.
- 7:04We do these secret santas with like my siblings and then my wife's siblings,
- 7:09and it's just like everyone's mailing it in. You're literally just texting links to
- 7:13things like hey, buy this from me, and then my wife's constantly haunting
- 7:15me like what do you want? What am I? I'm supposed to tell
- 7:17my sister what you So it's not it's no longer secret sand No, But
- 7:20it's like you're giving. I hate when you have to just to buy somebody
- 7:26something just because you're supposed to. Yeah, it's a totallytey because it drives
- 7:30me nuts. I'm the same way. The one person I love getting gifts
- 7:32from, though, is my mother. She always puts together like a cute
- 7:35but there they're gifts that we would use, you know. She always gets
- 7:39an ornament every year, a coffee cup or even though things are like okay,
- 7:42sweet, but then I don't like the pressure of having to buy somebody
- 7:45something for no apparent reason, none at all, and then even just thinking
- 7:48of things that I need and I never really feel good about anything I come
- 7:51up with. It's like just forcing me to be, Hey, what's something
- 7:55that costs fifty dollars that you would like? And I really can't think of
- 7:58anything. So it's just like, oh, go off balls. But then
- 8:00I'm just gonna lose those that But then, okay, so you're giving somebody
- 8:03a fifty dollars gift card that you have to go and buy that you're then
- 8:07buying another gift. It doesn't make sense. Yeah, it's all silly.
- 8:11I know, I know what you're thinking. One mischief. I don't think
- 8:15you're the only one. I really don't. I think a lot of people
- 8:18have kind of just gotten away from you're buying stuff year round or you when
- 8:22you are buying a gift, have it be something meaningful. Uh? And
- 8:26I know you didn't get me anything for the holidays, Absolutely not. I
- 8:28never even considered it. So last week when you were gone, James dropped
- 8:33a bomb on me. Oh he got you a gift, he got me
- 8:37a gift, but he said I got it for you. Back in March.
- 8:39What a would that? That's one of the weirdest things I've ever heard,
- 8:43You know, is James our afternoon host, secretly in love with you?
- 8:46No, he's he's got himself a gallop out. We're great friends,
- 8:48and I'm just thinking I looked at him with that same look you're giving me,
- 8:52like hmm, or are we supposed to a gift dischange? What did
- 8:56he give you? Yeah, there's that awkwardness too. If you get a
- 8:58gift from somebody, it's like, well, I didn't get you anything,
- 9:01so I know, what did he give you? Nothing yet? I mean
- 9:05it's not Christmas yet, so I'm sure. Oh, okay, okay.
- 9:09I will say the one aspect of gift giving that I do enjoy is getting
- 9:13your you know, like in my kiss nephew's gifts. Kids. That is
- 9:18the joy. It's all about kids, and I know that. So that's
- 9:20why I'm saying us as adults, can we just all come to a truce
- 9:22here and be like, all right, no gifts not getting me any.
- 9:26I don't you get my wife anything. She don't give me anything. I
- 9:28don't want it. I don't want stuff. We have done that. I
- 9:31think with the adults that I'm around anymore. On both sides of the family.
- 9:33It's like, let's just keep it for the kids. There you go.
- 9:37Merry Christmas everyone, Do everybody say truth? I get an in the
- 9:41morning. Now here's what you need to know breaking news before we get into
- 9:46this. A mana just deemed dua lip but not attractive. Oh stop it.
- 9:48You said that. You literally just asked me if she was. Don't
- 9:52say don't say what I actually asked. You're gonna call me out and then
- 9:56I can't tell you. But anyway, I couldn't you picture out of a
- 10:00lineup? Very beautiful woman? Yeah? I thought so too. AnyWho.
- 10:03Any who, back to some real breaking news. First of all, Bison
- 10:09fell short. What a game though. That was just fun to be able
- 10:11to watch them and truly just make a comeback towards the end of the season.
- 10:15I think as Bison fans, it was fun to see them get where
- 10:18they ended up. Yeah, because there was a moment there where it felt
- 10:20like your last season. But to be able to make a run, and
- 10:22I just thought they had one more magic moment in them and we'd be talking
- 10:26about Frisco. But no, Surrey, Bob, Nope, but we got
- 10:31some news yesterday. Very excited. New Bison head coach Tim Poulasek is going
- 10:35to be returning from Wyoming now. He was offensive coordinator under coach Bull who
- 10:39just retired. For the past three seasons. He's been with the Bison kind
- 10:43of on and off. He was there during some of the glory years twenty
- 10:46fourteen, fifteen sixteen. He learned from one of the best who created,
- 10:50in my opinion, the dynasty. I'm excited. Well, yeah, and
- 10:52you know he's got the FBS experience. I know that was one of the
- 10:56knocks on Tyler Roll. So they got a good track record of iron the
- 11:00right guys, and I feel like him and Tyler. I don't know any
- 11:03inside intel. Probably get along great, probably Tim at one point. So
- 11:07we'll see. And you just Amanda a little on the inside here. You
- 11:09just like his wife because she likes to drink wine with you. She used
- 11:13to come to whinos all the time. Jill. She's awesome. They have
- 11:15a great family. Coming back to Fargo. We're greeting you with open arms.
- 11:18Welcome. Tim and Jill went up the hill, have a glass of
- 11:24wine. I don't know what is going on here today. But thank you
- 11:30for putting up with us. All Right, this is devastating because I can't
- 11:33imagine being in this situation. There are forty to fifty people currently being rescued.
- 11:39They are stranded on ice on the upper Red Lake area, and so
- 11:43they were ice fishing and I guess a strong wind came up and is this
- 11:48the ice b How many times have you seen this in movies and TV cartoons?
- 11:52Were the ice breaks? But I guess last year over two hundred anglers
- 11:54were rescued after a large ice hunk brooke free on the exact same lake.
- 11:58I just just with that information, I would just I'm not gonna go on
- 12:03that lake now, you're not going to see. And my thing is I
- 12:05love ice fishing great, but right now just sketchy. Just with the heat
- 12:09wave that we've been having, it's a question at all. I just wouldn't
- 12:13push it. I remember the first time we drove out on the ice with
- 12:16my dad and the pickup and he said, all right, take your seatbelts
- 12:18off, and I said why and he's like, well, just in cage
- 12:24and I'm like, well, what the heck are we doing? Is it
- 12:26really a concern which is get off the ice. My husband, he freaks
- 12:30out ice fishing, like he gets Once he gets out there, he's fine,
- 12:33but he's the same he has it'll be like sixty below the wind and
- 12:39we're going out there and he has the sun roof open. He's got this.
- 12:43You gotta have an escape plan, Like maybe we just don't drive this
- 12:46four thousand pound vehicle on the ice and then there's like a hundred other ones
- 12:52in the same area. Like, yeah, he gets a little nervous.
- 12:54Yeah, I hope they get them. Okay, I said a raft out
- 12:58there or something. Yeah, don't they thought of that yet, But they
- 13:01probably haven't. Like Tiger Woods, over the weekend, he was golfing with
- 13:05his son. Super cute. They even brought the sister along. She was
- 13:09the caddie, just ras and having a good old time. Some of the
- 13:13interviews that are servicing him, like gosh, they just look like they were
- 13:16having the time of their life because they, oh, yeah, love golfing,
- 13:20giving each other grief and just to be able to do it in the
- 13:22tournament. Obviously they do it at home. But yeah, the Charlie,
- 13:24he's a little spunky. Charlie's spunky, but also Charlie's like a man all
- 13:30of a sudden. I think, just like the cute little old Tiger woods
- 13:33son. He's kind of in that awkward growth phase. Yeah. No,
- 13:35he's fourteen, but sounds like he's eighty four. What do you guys feel
- 13:39his team today? What do you feel he did well? And I mean
- 13:43I drove the ball really good today. I didn't miss a fairway and still
- 13:46manage to shoot it under. So we just suck it buddy right there,
- 13:52gaping it real because AD's like, Okay, let's not talk like that.
- 13:56Well, it's so funny because Daddy just been talking to the media for thirty
- 14:00years and he's just like, wow, that's not how I would have said
- 14:01it. But it's true. Yeah, nothing wrong with that hash take no
- 14:05filter? Yes, oh Bob. Okay. Weather, here's what's going on.
- 14:13Are we gonna have a white Christmas? It's not looking like it today.
- 14:18Probably gonna be the coolest of the weather for the week twenty four for
- 14:22the high looking ahead, we're gonna be mid forties going into Christmas weekend.
- 14:26Maybe a chance of snow on Sunday into Monday, but we've gotta do you
- 14:30say chance of snow or didn't you say, uh, well, it said
- 14:31showers. We can possibly have rain showers. I'm trying to say something about
- 14:35bing Crosby dreaming of a wet Christmas, but nothing's coming to me. So
- 14:41I just want to get it out there that I was trying to think of
- 14:43something. Well, thank you for that. I think on behalf of everybody
- 14:46listening, we appreciate everything that's happening with you right now. Of a wet
- 14:50see that doesn't a Christmas. That's not gonna work for me. No,
- 14:54No, I want some snow. Give me some date. We'll be in
- 14:56Florida, so ods are we won't have a whitechrists Mus, but you guys
- 15:01have for your sake. Anyway, the kiddos, you know what I mean.
- 15:03You're just talking about how your kids they think they're going to the North
- 15:05Pole. Yeah. We introduced them to Tim Allen's The Santa Claus, great
- 15:11flick, one of the better, it's a top fiver. Yeah. They
- 15:13they want to watch the Santa movie where he falls off the roof over and
- 15:18over again. And then they think, for some reason, this lad's gonna
- 15:22pick us up and we're gonna want a wilded adventure. This weekend. You
- 15:24know, I don't know how to have this conversation. This is one of
- 15:28those parentine moments where you go, you know what I would do, because
- 15:31kids, you know, their imaginations are just marvelous, and so what I
- 15:35would do is I would take like a blanket and kind of drape it over
- 15:37the kitchen table and tell them that it's the north pole in there like this,
- 15:41you know, build a little fort, tell them it's a north pole.
- 15:46They won't know. That's a really good idea. Gosh, you're going
- 15:48to be a great dad something Amanda in the morning on seven it's soliday season.
- 15:56Holiday, yeah, and you know a lot of people see the holidays
- 16:03as an opportunity to take their relationship to the next step in the form of
- 16:07a proposal. Now, first of all, before I warn you on why
- 16:11that might be a bad idea, where do you stand on holiday proposals?
- 16:15Gosh, you know, I'm kind of indecisive. Like Valentine's Day to me,
- 16:18for like, a holiday proposal is just so cheesy unless there's a real
- 16:22reason that you're doing it on that day, it doesn't make sense. Through
- 16:26the holidays. So if you're with family and you're doing something romantic. I
- 16:30don't see anything wrong with it. I really don't. No, I don't.
- 16:33I don't hate it. Eat. It's not like you're taking away from
- 16:36Hajesus's birthday. I mean it's like, oh yeah, like you know how
- 16:41you don't want to You would never get engaged to somebody's wedding because it's their
- 16:45day, much like you shouldn't get engaged on Christmas because it's Jesus Jesay birthday.
- 16:48Also, not to mention there's Santa Claus and that it's kind of his
- 16:52day too. I mean, anything you out on that, I don't care.
- 16:56It's a nice opportunity to do it in front of family, Like if
- 16:57everyone's going to be together. What about New Year's Do you think that that's
- 17:00cliche too? Oh? I don't care about that at all, Okay.
- 17:03I mean, but they say though, it can't get a little sticky around
- 17:07the holidays, because if you're giving a ring during the holidays, it might
- 17:11be viewed as a gift a bunch like I would give a gift to anybody
- 17:14during the holidays. Oh, However, there's different rules when it's an engagement
- 17:18ring. Marriage experts say that even though it might be viewed as a gift
- 17:22if you were to not actually end up getting married, so you hastily propose,
- 17:26and months later something happens and you're not going to get married, you
- 17:29might think, well, it was a gift, so I get to keep
- 17:32it. Nahhh. The same rules still apply as a traditional proposal, as
- 17:36long as you get down on your knee exactly say you marry me. Now
- 17:40you've entered into a verbal contract with each other. So basically, if you
- 17:44call off the marriage, the other person either a gets to keep the ring
- 17:48or B you have to monetarily, you know, reimburse them for the ring.
- 17:52So just icky, okay, just another thing thinking about. But would
- 17:55you, I mean, don't you just are there people out there keeping engagement
- 17:59rings if the wedding doesn't actually happen. I did not keep any of them.
- 18:06I was so I was married. He gave him back the ring,
- 18:11didn't You did get back there? I didn't need that, And you recall
- 18:14you getting proposed to. Yeah, and that one you didn't get that I
- 18:17gave back to you. Yes, and then the what the love of my
- 18:19life? Now this one you're hanging on to you. There are times and
- 18:22time can't even get this bad boy off after a week. Oh yeah,
- 18:26we won't even move a couple sodium filled weekd am I am I wrong?
- 18:33Oh, you're right. Somebody got into mister walk last night. In the
- 18:40morning, Big Nuddy eight points to oh, smoky, Amanda fills the sea.
- 18:48Let's see. Just sad. We found out over the weekend that a
- 18:52medical examiner released the autops of your report with Matthew Perry's coughs of death.
- 18:56Now, he died to acute effects of ketamine. Now I am not familiar
- 19:00with ketamine, but it was found in his blood and it was equivalent to
- 19:03the amount typically used for general anesthesia. There was also like coronary artery disease.
- 19:07There was another pill that I think was helping him with anxiety and then
- 19:11also from not drinking and being on Yeah, one of the drugs was what
- 19:15you would take of your sort of trying to deal with an addiction. And
- 19:19so it's still very confusing because he was using these ketamine treatments for his depression
- 19:26and they were administered by a doctor. But the last one he had got
- 19:29because they said he was doing well and they were trying to wean him off
- 19:30of these treatments. Had been getting them every other day week prior was the
- 19:34last time he got one a week prior to dying, And they say that
- 19:38it's not like that would have still been in the system, so he was
- 19:41taking it is on its own. Why. I don't know. Obviously,
- 19:45like you said, there was a lot of it in there. Yeah,
- 19:47and so it's hard to say people do use kettemine recreationally. Yeah, it's
- 19:52just hard to say. I know. I keep going back to Jennifer Anison
- 19:56and what she talked about, how she was sexing him and how they are
- 20:00super close, especially after the Friends reunion, and they were keeping in touch
- 20:03and just so happy and healthy that he was in her opinion, Well,
- 20:06yeah, you know, he was playing pickleball for two hours that day.
- 20:08And they said from their interviews and everything, he'd been sober for nineteen months,
- 20:12so very sad, I know. And Jason Momoa, how does he
- 20:18stay so fit? Well, he was auditioned about his morning breakfast routine.
- 20:22He said, it's really weird, but I don't think that this is super
- 20:25weird. He has rice with avocado, a couple of eggs sunnyside up,
- 20:29and sardines. For some reason, this sounds delicious to me, mainly because
- 20:32I like sar well, sardines are good. I love a good canned fish.
- 20:37But uh, you did tell me? Was that last week? You're
- 20:38like, yeah, had some sardines on the cracker last Oh sorry, canned
- 20:42oysters, can sardines. And yeah. The reason I hadn't been doing it
- 20:45before because I liked him as a nice treat when we'd go hunting, we'd
- 20:48always have him on a little cracker, little saltine. Oh yeah, but
- 20:51do you feel like they'd be very salty? You write a lot of sodium
- 20:52in there. Not really, not as much as you would think. Well,
- 20:56if Jason Momoa is doing it, that does sound like a nice breakfast,
- 21:00although it doesn't really fit under the breakfast rules. Isn't it weird?
- 21:03How breakfast? You know? It's like breakfast rules? I guess I'm not
- 21:07familiar saying like some foods just don't make sense, like chicken for breakfast.
- 21:11See, it doesn't make it weird though, And maybe it's because we wake
- 21:15up so early. But for me, you could give me a bowl of
- 21:18Chinese food right now, or spaghetti, and I would eat it. It
- 21:21wouldn't FaZe me. Spaghetti for breakfast. Are You out of your Mind?
- 21:27And Taylor Swift she brought her dad along to watch her man trav yesterday she
- 21:33was busted yelling the F bomb. Did you see this? It was so
- 21:36good. He gets hit and she just just loses it. I'm like,
- 21:41oh, big football fan. Huh Yeah, she's just like gots two months
- 21:44into being a football fan. She's already swearing at the rats, you know,
- 21:47looking for pass interference calls that aren't happening. Yeah, just losing her
- 21:49mind. By the way, she was wearing a beanie and it was super
- 21:52cute and had eighty seven on it representing her man. And she was also
- 21:56in the sweet next to Brittany ma Holmes. So there's a lot of rumors
- 22:00were already on the outs, which I think is just funny because she's an
- 22:03annoying individual. I've never let he knows that, never really been a fan
- 22:07of Brittany Mahomes, but I did love this. I started following her on
- 22:10Instagram and she was in the suite with Taylor and I guess they had cookies
- 22:14in there and written on the cookie had said Dad's brads and chat fun.
- 22:18I mean, that's just good old fashioned fun. No, it is,
- 22:22and how fun for Taylor to be able to bring her dad to watch her
- 22:25man do what he does. You know, that would be so exciting,
- 22:27but not in all cases. Do you remember my wife's dad came into the
- 22:30studio one day he was in town visiting and we had a live audience Friday
- 22:34back in the day. I do not remember. Oh yeah, So he
- 22:37came in and it was just like, oh, this is the first time
- 22:40you met him. We over at Applebee. Oh yeah. So he shows
- 22:42up the next day in the studio and watches as his daughter's new boyfriend does
- 22:48his thing, which was the most humiliating thing is I mean, how does
- 22:53he feel? You're going to see him, You're going to spend Christmas with
- 22:59him. We've come a long ways from that morning at the live aodyence Friday.
- 23:02Yeah, he likes you guys. You guys like golf together, and
- 23:04you think, oh, you know we uh we drink Miller light. Okay,
- 23:08yeah, it's really nice, really nice arrangement we have. But anyway,
- 23:12but Tay, we got to bring dad along you're speaking of, which
- 23:15really quick, did you see Taylor Swift's ring that she's been wearing a lot
- 23:18of people are saying, this is what Travis Kelsey got her for the birthday,
- 23:21the big birthday present. But it's like an opal it's not an engagement
- 23:25ring. But that's what I want for the big one. I mean,
- 23:30not save up financially. I'm just saying save up. That also doesn't Did
- 23:33he feel like he was pressured to give her a piece of jewelry? I
- 23:37mean I don't know, no, I hate it. In fact, in
- 23:41the morning on what do we say, A wet Christmas might be a little
- 23:48rain, but not going to stop all Santa Claus from doing what he needs
- 23:51to do. He's up in the North Pole right now, frantically putting these
- 23:53toys together. Well he's actually, you know, he's a what do you
- 23:56call it? What do you call when he gives somebody else the work as
- 24:00signing task, something a manager would do. They do this, they disperse
- 24:06the work. People have much hate listening to us because it's the words right
- 24:11there. I just can't think of it, You can't think about it.
- 24:14You know, they're just uh, dispersing the work. Well, it's what
- 24:17Santa does. And he's up there North Pole now, and we got the
- 24:19direct line to the North Pole. It's called the Santa Hotline, Amanda.
- 24:22It's open for the kiddos to call let Santa know what they want. It's
- 24:26a really easy way to connect with them. Obviously he can't answer because he's
- 24:29busy. But seven o one four nine six nine zero three. I mean,
- 24:32imagine if you're on the naughty list right now, you only have seven
- 24:34days to get on the nice list. Yeah, okays, uh, you
- 24:37know you leave Santa friendly voicemail. That's I'm not going to say it's gonna
- 24:41get you there to the nice list, but it's certainly not yet. We
- 24:45have an adorable voicemail here over the weekend, Do you know what I want?
- 24:51A lot of a lot of barbies and from Danish from my brother.
- 25:00How cute when you got a kid just you know, giving their little baby
- 25:03brother who probably can't speak yet, an adorable adorable little dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are
- 25:10so cute. Kids love them. And I love asking the kid what their
- 25:12favorite dinosaur is because ninety nine point nine nine percent of the time, you
- 25:15know the answer to you, that's exactly what Brigsy wants for Christmas? Is
- 25:22t Rex? Really? Have you you have shown him like a Bronosaurus or
- 25:26a pterodactyl. No, we don't have any dinosaurs at hollow, so this
- 25:30will be his first introduction if Santa brings it for him. Love it Anthony
- 25:37a baby choice from my sister and her name is Brindsley. Thank you,
- 25:41And I said stop here, bye, please sign, please stop here.
- 25:49Make sure you got us some of the old itinerary. Don't miss us.
- 25:53Maybe well. A kid wanting a fanny bag is amazing. It was made
- 26:03a comeback a couple of years ago. I remember seeing him at we fest
- 26:04him like, wait, are we back to the fantasy My wife has multiple
- 26:07fanny packs? Yeah, And I've always said I really there was that time
- 26:10where it seemed like lame or people would make fun of him. It as
- 26:12practical as all get out. It really is ice cream lemonade stand so I
- 26:21can sell lemonade and so ice cream so I can get more money to make
- 26:25a house. Thank you. A little entrepreneur on our hand wants a lemonade
- 26:30stance so she can build make a house. Is she making the house payments?
- 26:34Just think it's I think she's trying to you anyway. Good for her.
- 26:40Seven one six nine zero three. That's a Santa hot line. Imagine
- 26:42you come home one day and your five year old's made a house. Do
- 26:45you from her lemonade? Say in the morning on Big Well, I want
- 26:52to know what you think of this because it's gone viral. A man is
- 26:56being really just roasted online for the that he recited to his now wife at
- 27:03their wedding ceremony over the weekend. I mean, that is a that's one
- 27:07of those things where you think, oh, gosh, I'll write my own
- 27:11and it's like, oh, do you really need to write your own because
- 27:15it can go either way. Well, you know, some people it makes
- 27:17perfect sense right when they do it. Oh, there's a very well written
- 27:21vow and emotional because otherwise the other vows like the normal ones, you know.
- 27:25And that's what we did too. We never we didn't write anything.
- 27:27It's just like it's cookie cutter. It doesn't mean anything to you. Yeah,
- 27:30we found them. There was different versions online and we're like, Okay,
- 27:33this feels like it's the most for us. But otherwise it was verbatim,
- 27:38you know what I mean, what we were doing. Well, this
- 27:40guy over the weekend felt like this was perfect for him, and this was
- 27:44straight from the heart. He did not write anything down as he'll say,
- 27:47here, okay, listen close, I'll probably smack every chance I get.
- 27:52Oh that's all I got. I'm sorry. Yeah, so that's the sorry.
- 28:02What was that boying in the background. The video has edited because the
- 28:06exact quote was I promised you smack that oh blee, what every chance I
- 28:11get? Boo? Yeah? Then he said that's all I got, laughs
- 28:17to himself. Nobody else is laughing. The officiant is horrified, and he
- 28:21says, literally is that? He literally says, you're really going to go
- 28:23out on that? And the guy goes, yeah, that's all I got.
- 28:26Boo yah, you gave your movie your wife like a boo yacht.
- 28:30And the way he delivers his line, you know, he's laughing. He
- 28:33can't even get it out of his mouth. He's already laughing. He's gonna
- 28:37happen. He thinks he's the funniest guy in the world. I wish we
- 28:40could see the new mother in law, you know what I mean, like
- 28:44the family, just the reaction, because how did the wife take it?
- 28:48She laughed? And so here's the deal. People online were just ridiculing this
- 28:52guy. Somebody said, are you allowed to get divorced in the middle of
- 28:55your wedding ceremony asking for this girl. So she finally chimed in after her
- 28:59husband is getting just astroid, saying, hey, guys, don't worry.
- 29:00I'm his wife. We have two kids, we're very in love, and
- 29:03we just don't take anything seriously. And so this was totally fun. And
- 29:07you would think that she would have to have that sense of humor. He
- 29:11can't be a complete moron. Well I'm not rolling that out. He probably
- 29:15is a complete mor and but you know, if they're you know, if
- 29:17they work together, great, and even if you were just trying to go
- 29:19viral like, that's a moment that you just don't want to mess up.
- 29:22It is such an important time in a moment. I guess I'm here it
- 29:26one more time though, because it's I'll probably a smack every chan side kid
- 29:32I got reminds me you met you were at my wedding. Yeah, you
- 29:36were blowing like a point six by this point, but recall it, ish,
- 29:40you're a wedding in beautiful Duluth. Yes, yeah, but of course
- 29:44Jesse he is a guy who used to work with remember him. Yeah,
- 29:47I love the guy, but at my wedding, yeah, he got on
- 29:49the microphone as was not shocking, notrising, I know, but he did
- 29:55make a joke about something to do with a thumb, and you know,
- 29:57I'm sitting there looking at my now mother in law and her mom and just
- 30:02the family, and yeah, you see, but that's uncomfortable. Probably why
- 30:04I must have been in the bathroom during all of that. But yeah,
- 30:08there are certain moments that you just it's not about It's about them, not
- 30:12you. You know what I mean. That's awkward. Yeah, man,
- 30:17what did your mother in law want to know? Do you even know?
- 30:19I don't think I ever found out. It wasn't that I know that.
- 30:22Did they have anything to say afterwards, like who was that guy or anything?
- 30:26Everyone knew that guy, There's no question
