A tragic crash on I-695 early Sunday morning claimed the life of a 17-year-old from Edgewood after he was struck by a Honda Accord while helping change a tire on a stranded Lexus. The collision occurred just before 1:30 AM near I-83, with the teen pronounced dead at the scene. The Lexus driver, an 18-year-old from Baltimore, was hospitalized but otherwise unharmed; the Honda driver remained at the scene.
