- 4:55[SPEAKER_05]: You want to know on a nice sunny Friday beautiful late summer fall like day not a bad day at all top story today, at least here.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_05]: is
- 5:08[SPEAKER_05]: The trial of Millie Smith is on, started shortly after 10 this morning opening arguments were made by the press by the DA's office and by Defense Attorney Todd Doldo.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_05]: The accusing officer, Officer George, was called of the stand, and my understanding is, this is eight or nine months afterwards, that the city was not willing to produce her body cam video.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_05]: They produced some video of another officer.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_05]: What's going on here?
- 5:42[SPEAKER_05]: What's going on here is I'm sure Harris Beach said I wouldn't like that video.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_05]: Tell him it's not ready.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_05]: And all of that.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_05]: So there's something about that.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_05]: The city refusing to do that.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_05]: All the evidence.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_05]: I've been hearing from the millie.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_05]: Critics.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_05]: And the proponents of the city that.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_05]: His weightless trials should be cuffed and stuffed.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_05]: Show us the evidence, don't be playing, you know, hide the whatever with the tape.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_05]: They're on lunch break now, so they'll go on this afternoon.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_05]: Still to be called, I think there's a couple more officers, and then I think Millie Smith herself is going to testify as I understand it, along with the wife of the choking victim at Pete's restaurant and a waitress there.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_05]: I wonder if it'll be a withering cross-endorsement of the wife.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_05]: So anyway, that's what's going on down the courthouse county or city court.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_05]: Judge Kimberly Wood presiding, we'll see what happens, I don't know.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_05]: You probably won't learn about it for a while because it's
- 6:54[SPEAKER_05]: Although it is breaking news, we have kind of a slow with my last news media at times.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_05]: That should have been up, that should be updated by now.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_05]: Other things teen hit by a train in Governorland, that's too bad, unfortunate, fire destroys the house and decalb.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_05]: The city of Channel 7 reports this total overtime for a parade is 9100.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_05]: You had in the port of bodies and other things that it comes at 13,000, but you know, two arguments there, one is, does it all have to be over time or can other things be done?
- 7:31[SPEAKER_05]: For instance, police, wouldn't it make sense to call Sheriff Barnett for something like that say, we got a big event going on, could you help out with the traffic control?
- 7:39[SPEAKER_05]: Sure, because that did do it, I grew up in Watertown, it's a great place.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_05]: As far as the DPW, you know, but that's a lot of that's the cost to do in business.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_04]: But the Clayton Parade is probably your better bet.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm going to help the city.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to help the mayor out here.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to say go see the Clayton Parade.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_05]: Which is held on Saturday December 5 at 6 p.m.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_05]: Christmas parade and fireworks display in Clayton, Star Stripes and Christmas lights, kind of combining the 250th anniversary of America with this blessed holiday season.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_05]: So that Saturday, December 5th, there's other things going on too.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_05]: There's Neuro-Actoroprifice down on the square of this weekend and there's one up on dry hill and I guess a city's holding something and we haven't even got a flyer on that.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know what it is.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_05]: But as far as parades, you know, the whole thing's already been soiled.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_05]: Just go to Clayton.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_05]: I hate to say that, but just go to Clayton.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_05]: 755, 1240, there's a phone number.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_05]: I had a call earlier from a guy who was talking about the gen to be an interview and dairy stuff, but it's, you know, apparently they are going to show that video from office of George.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_05]: Boy, apparently the city just got it ready.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_05]: oh boy who's behind this i mean you got to admit even if you don't like milly and listen i i understand that milly and her husband have or getting divorced there's hard feelings blah blah blah i don't know if that has anything to do with this or you know pressuring just a Wagner to pursue this is vigorously as they are but i i the whole
- 9:41[SPEAKER_05]: a weirdness to it.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_05]: I, you know, like, what are you, what are you bothering?
- 9:44[SPEAKER_05]: They offered her another one of these 24 hour ACD's adjournment and contemplation of dismissals this morning and she wouldn't take it.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_05]: Man, I wouldn't either.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_04]: I wouldn't either.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_05]: So we're going to find out.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_04]: Then I'll tell you if she's guilty, I'll be the first one to, whatever.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_05]: I just don't see what's being
- 10:10[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to go back to whenever this occurred in the last winter.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_05]: busy Saturday night at Pete's restaurant.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_05]: Older gentlemen starts choking on his steak, he's in distress.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_05]: Millysmith is at another table with her children.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_05]: She tells a waitress that call 911 and goes to help try to help him.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_05]: I'm looking over, I assume.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_05]: That wasn't working out too well.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_05]: And within the, you know, period of time, the police, the fire, the ambulance people got there.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_05]: And there was a lot of turbulence.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_05]: Didn't know everybody didn't know when everybody else.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_05]: And the officer George was an EMT, I guess.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_05]: He felt she should be in charge and maybe she should be.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not here to argue about it.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_05]: I don't argue with police officers.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_05]: So the city alleges in a complaint file three weeks later,
- 11:08[SPEAKER_05]: that really shoved the police officer in a way that not just bumped into were but in a and a salt like way I assume so it's it's just a violation not a misdemeanor or felony but just a violation.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_05]: And that was served on her at 10 o'clock at night three weeks later by the same officer.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_05]: Now in the intervening three weeks we don't know what happened I assume something like that would go up the chain you talking about the at that time the wife
- 11:38[SPEAKER_05]: Now, if the wife of the former C.G.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_05]: at Ford drum, we're getting in a similar thing with the MPs or something, I'm sure the command structure would know about it.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_05]: And so that obviously went to the top, and they decided to continue to pursue it.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_05]: At who's urging, I don't know, one can speculate, but I don't know.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_05]: So here we are, months later,
- 12:06[SPEAKER_05]: It had been some postponements.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_05]: We don't know who urged the postponements.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_05]: We're not accusing anyone.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_04]: But now they wanted to get rid of the case again today and the release miss and I want to trial.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_05]: So she's getting a bench trial in front of Judge Kimberly Wood, wonderful judge.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_04]: Great choice.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_05]: So what she's the only lawyer that could find religion in the city that was why.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway,
- 12:36[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, we got to call.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_05]: We'll do that.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_05]: But after you do that, I'm here.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: How are you doing?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_05]: Alright, what's up?
- 12:44[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, not much.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_03]: I think the wrong person's in court right now.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's all I have to say about that.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, who should be?
- 12:52[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think she's doing that.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_03]: She's being court.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_03]: I really don't.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to go further, but it's crazy.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think she deserves any of this crap.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_03]: You know?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: up for those.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: The city of Watertown is something jazzed that we need to be done about leadership right now.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_03]: She doesn't care.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't care.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_03]: Look at the way she talks to the constituents about a parade that's been grown on in our city forever.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't want to think I can't have a Nicole.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_05]: I don't really get it.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think really belongs to the court right now, I think, or other half, does him today.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, thank you.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I don't know about that.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I don't know how much third four intervention there was on this to push this case along at the urging of people, but you got to look at the personalities involved and the relationships.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_05]: Listen, I like both Millie and Jeff Smith.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I consider him friends and respect them both.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_05]: The fact that they
- 14:34[SPEAKER_05]: But, whether it played a role in this, I don't know.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_05]: Now we did get a flyer in here about the harvest festival, October 2nd, 3rd and 4th at the Alex stuffy Fairgrounds, Carnival, Venduce, Live Music, Volk's March, in Beergarten, family event.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how you become a vendor.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not a wanted to get one of those beer tents.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, they got like a picture's here, Ferris wheel and other rides and kind of like many, many county fairs, what it is.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_05]: And last year was never called, it was pretty good, it was co-sponsored by community broadcasts.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_05]: craft fair businesses, all of that stuff.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_05]: So thanks to Sandy for bringing this into me.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_05]: October 2nd 3rd and 4th, we'll make it a point to mention it.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_04]: That's how publicity works.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_05]: Publicity 101.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_05]: We teach it here on the hotline.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_05]: 755 1240 our phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the air today.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_05]: One of the interesting things that I'll let her from Verizon today is telling us that copper is on its way out.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_05]: Copper wires.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_05]: gone.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_05]: So those of us who still have a landline, I don't know, or actually by some other method, they said that we won't be left hanging, but copper wires are gone.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_05]: Another.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_05]: There we go.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_05]: $400 to get a vendor booth.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_05]: I includes a 10 by 10 space to showcase products or services.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_05]: There's like 3,000 people there.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_05]: Paul Sandier Lawrence, 7, 8, 2, 12, 40.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_05]: There you go.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_05]: And they got some kind of add deal with it, so that's good too, but you've got to provide you tent, you table your chairs and booths set up.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what kind of businesses are welcome, but I assume any, I assume any.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_05]: I'd be a good girl.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_05]: Good opportunity for somebody.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_05]: So, 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of show is today.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_05]: Um... What have we got going here?
- 16:58[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, we got a call coming.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_05]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_23]: Hey, you'd have to be in the mirror.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_23]: Tomorrow is Queen Chief Festival at Craft Hines.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_23]: Just one that'll have everybody know.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_05]: Down in Adams, you know?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_23]: I'd advertise it a little bit, but I think it's 11 to 6, there's like 2 band stages like 100 banders and you know the legions whatever doing you know it's a good time it's going to be had by all down in Laudville and we like that so that's good.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_05]: What do you think about the Millie trial?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_23]: I think it should never gone on this long but I'd like Millie sticking up for a
- 17:40[SPEAKER_23]: she says it's BS and so I don't want to swear or get coughed or a radio but now she thinks it's a bunch of blondies and then she goes now I want to go all before I have one to judge and I'll tell you exactly what happened if we wanted to bring the witness is I'll bring witnesses.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_23]: How about the guy that was choking his ass I bet he'd be a good witness.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, whether he feels up for, you know, some people are self-conscious about that apparently his wife is going to testify from what I understand.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_23]: Well, she, I mean, I, I'm glad that she sticks up for her, uh, what do you call it?
- 18:21[SPEAKER_23]: I don't know what you call it, that, that's, I don't know.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_23]: Well, I, I don't know either, I mean, I mean, they're going against her for purpose, for political reasons and everything else.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_23]: No Smith helped my ex-girlfriend, and she went up the city council, and she stood up for her, and she stood right up and spoke to them.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_23]: She goes, let this woman talk, and they went behind closed doors, and they said, we're not talking about it.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_23]: nearly stuck up for her and they turn the back on her.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, all right, thank you.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_05]: Well, good.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_05]: Good for Millie.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_05]: All right, thank you, right now.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_05]: Other things in the news over on news, John Key, a lot of comments on a post on parade fundaries, who's, you know, I don't...
- 19:23[SPEAKER_05]: I favor businesses getting involved building floats and spending their money that way, or helping out in that way.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_05]: But in terms of the basic municipal functions,
- 19:35[SPEAKER_05]: of some traffic control, and so on.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_05]: No, I am.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_05]: That tin cup stuff doesn't appeal to me.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_05]: It doesn't appeal to me.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of comments on the news junkie post on the homeless and water down, they're all over the place, don't you know?
- 19:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_05]: Now, here's something, quote from Constantine O'Hockel announces she handpicked Jen to be into run for Congress, and will use him to install hacking Jeffries a speaker.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_05]: I'm a course they want hockey and Jeffries a speaker.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_05]: He's the minority leader right now.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_05]: And that's what's going to happen if they get the majority.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I love this stuff about, you know, whatever you want to say about gender being, this thing about, well, he voted for Kamala Harris.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_05]: Well, he's a Democratic, of course, he voted for her.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I'd be shocked if he hadn't.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_05]: And as far as hockey and Jeffries, yeah, he's going to be the speaker, at least he's from New York State.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_05]: better to get in some weirdo from california in us speaker the house but i think the democrats listen if you look at the responsible projections and uh... that decision desk on news nation is i think one of them they predict again of fourteen to fifteen seats at that tells the story over in the senate different story i mean there's seats in play suddenly minnesota and new hamster are in play
- 21:02[SPEAKER_05]: public can stand a lose North Carolina and Ohio, but they say, I always didn't play Alaska, Texas, so there's a lot more intangibles there.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_05]: And of course, Michigan.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Michigan's a good example of this Abdul guy, the Democrats want power.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_05]: And they don't care what this guy
- 21:31[SPEAKER_05]: So they want to win the seat, and they don't really care about what he stands for.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he thinks the world will be better off if Iran had nuclear weapons.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, wouldn't be so good for Israel, but he doesn't like Israel, just to see what he knows Israel.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_05]: And incidentally,
- 21:51[SPEAKER_05]: talking about video and stuff, and if we're going to sit there and have a, you know, maclamore and these other idiots, muse about the palestinians all the time, can we see the October 7th video?
- 22:04[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, the children they can't show it to the kids in the schools here.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and you won't have these smart ass administrators say in the things that they do.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_05]: Let's see the kids putting the oven.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_05]: Let's see it.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_05]: And other things
- 22:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that should not be, you know, after Math of World War II, there were a lot of photos that came out of the, uh, the camps in Germany, bodies piled up, U.S. officials touring it, seeing bodies lying on, you know, slabs that we put in the oven and all, all this other, it was difficult to look at, but it was important to look at.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_05]: I remember, uh, President, or General Eisenhower thought that
- 22:52[SPEAKER_05]: And he brought all of his staff and invited Congress over it.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_05]: Because he thought it should be looked at.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_05]: You should see it.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_05]: It isn't just an abstract.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, well, they didn't like Drew.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that, you know, it's not like you didn't want him in your country club.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_05]: It's what they were doing to him.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_05]: And the same as true of October 7th, we should see that.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_05]: And then run around and tell me you want to vote for a duel or something like that on Minnesota because it'll put Chuck Schumer in charge of the Senate.
- 23:24[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 23:25[UNKNOWN]: Now.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, 755, 1240 of the phone number if you'd like to give us a call if you want to talk about the Kennedy Center.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_04]: Now, some people say I'm a mega, you know, not have or something.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_04]: I think what the president's saying about the Kennedy Center is stupid.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_05]: You're not going to demolish it or do anything of the sort, but needs to be fixed and he doesn't have to have his name on it.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_05]: If it needs repairs, do repairs.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_05]: You can put a plaque on the side, if the urging is a trumpet administration, but you don't rename the building and then threaten to demolish it otherwise.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm not like, you know, whatever.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_05]: I can see both sides of an issue, a lot of people who are on the other side, you know, they can't, no, D, whatever, democratic, social, whatever that, yeah, that's what they are.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_05]: So 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today, and TV today, they're talking about the importance of nutrition in
- 24:34[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know who they have covering the millitrile, but the interest is to see.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_05]: They don't like to cover things in real time, you know.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_05]: This is going on now, type stuff, like to take time to reflect on it and report on it later.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm sure they'll do a good job.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure they'll do a good job.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_05]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call, we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_17]: I'm Cassie Robbins for us, a Lewis County native, a mom, a public servant, and I'm running for New York State District 49.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_17]: I left for college and work, but I returned home to the North Country in 2009, and I've been living working and serving my community ever since.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_17]: I'm not running to be a career politician.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_17]: I'm running to listen because the North Country families deserve a voice that listens.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_17]: One that carries our rural community's voices to Albany.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_17]: I'll work for better health care, stronger EMS, reliable broadband, and opportunities for our families and every community to thrive.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_17]: Because I believe in the people who call the North Country home,
- 25:44[SPEAKER_17]: Our future belongs to all of us, and it should be built by all of us, not just a few.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_17]: All of us together.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_17]: I'm Cassie Robbins Forbence, and I'm asking for your vote.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_17]: I'd be honored to have it.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_16]: Paid for by the friends of Cassie Robbins Forbence.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_24]: Hey, it's Nick O'Brien, but around here.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_24]: Most people know me as veterans, when I'm not helping put out fires with the rest of the volunteer firefighters at North Pole, I'm over at FX Capare Honda, helping move fires.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_24]: And if you need a truck, you need to come see me, because fall in the North country means hunting season.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_24]: And whether you're hauling gear, pulling a trailer, or heading back where the pavement ends, we've got pre-owned trucks ready for it.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_24]: Me is something for the job site, we've got Chevy's, Ford's, GMCs, Toyota's, and many more trucks built to work.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_24]: And don't forget what comes next, snow.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_24]: So if you're thinking about mounting that plow and getting ready for another North Country winner,
- 26:40[SPEAKER_24]: Now's the time to find your truck.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_24]: See me, nickel-brain at FX Capera Honda, Bradley Street.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_25]: We've got half tons, heavy duty trucks, four-wheel drive, even a Tesla Cybertruck.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_24]: That's right, I said a Cybertruck.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_24]: And come see me, backtrap, nickel-brain at FX Capera Honda.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_24]: I'll see you at Bingo at North Pole Fire Hall.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_24]: It's back!
- 27:02[SPEAKER_14]: The city of Watertown Harvest Festival is coming to the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds October 2nd, 3rd and 4th Enjoy Carnival Rides, Great Food, Live Music, The Brooks March and the Beer Garden for the grown-ups October 2nd, 3rd and 4th Harvest Festival presented by David Sun Otto Group at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_13]: Last year, more than 3000 people came out for the City of Watertown's harvest festival, and you can have your own booth and be a vendor, spaces are available right now.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_13]: So, if you own a small business, then you can be in front of thousands of people at this year's harvest festival.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_13]: Friday Saturday and Sunday, October 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_13]: At the Alex stuffy Fairgrounds, get your business in front of the crowd by calling 315-782-1240.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, join these businesses at Harvestfest.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_14]: Three sisters, Kendija.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_14]: First, command financial advisors, and renewal by Anderson.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_09]: RIVITING RIDEO.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_09]: AM-1240.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_09]: RIVITING RIDEO.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_09]: Don't you AT&T, the news in talk authority.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_05]: News in talk authority.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_05]: I got a text from my courthouse.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_05]: I guess they aren't going to play that other body video.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so I'll have to put that on the blog here, update, update the other video, will be shown.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_05]: Now, you know, it's kind of funny when I first heard it.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_05]: How can they not know it's been months?
- 28:40[SPEAKER_05]: They should have all their videos right there and all of that stuff, so the world can look at them.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if cameras are being allowed in this courtroom.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sure of current law.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_05]: But after noon, you're on the air.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, Mr. Mayor, how are you doing?
- 28:56[SPEAKER_05]: Good.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_05]: Go ahead and talk.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, we attach shopping carts, rent them out, ensure them get New York State inspection and serve.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_05]: I knew shopping guys, well, we probably should.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we probably should.
- 29:11[UNKNOWN]: How about the small shop, sir?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_05]: What's the small shop?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: So, for the reservation, in bags.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah, but wouldn't you want a bargain on cigarettes if you could get it, if you, I don't smoke, but if you smoked, wouldn't you rather pay five bucks a pack than 17?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_04]: Capitalist illegal.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_04]: They're not supposed to do that in a seven week, too.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, well, the mother's weed being sold all over the place.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but they don't have a license.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_05]: Oh!
- 29:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but nobody cares about it.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_05]: I don't mean to be flippent to you.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just, trust me, nobody cares.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, these days, people are growing weed everywhere.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_05]: It's being grown over and I don't even stream.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_05]: I got it in a building.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_05]: And they don't care.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_05]: They want it.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_05]: And they don't care if there's a tax on it or not.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_05]: And they're looking for value of the best price.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_05]: Same with cigarette, same with booze.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_05]: You know, if you could buy Jack Daniels for 15 bucks a bottle somewhere, or get it cheaper out of the class six store on drama, of course you would.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_05]: I would too.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I do too, because I'm one of them, but you know, we got into the time when that was the big deal and, you know, that kind of stuff doesn't mean much anymore, it's, whatever you want, it seems, especially in the area of smoke to back go and weed.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and I listen to people who own people who own the license weed stores, I, you know, I understand they put a lot of money into that effort, but.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they're going to they're selling vise and they got to understand there's going to be competition.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_04]: One more thing.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_04]: You know where Noko is?
- 30:57[SPEAKER_04]: On Arsenal Street, Noko.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_05]: Noko, no, what is it?
- 31:01[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the, uh, the, the, it's right next to a rabbit, so it's across the road.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_04]: It's, uh, like a, I don't know, it's a, uh, uh, nursing stuff.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_04]: The clinic.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: mm-hmm and then they cross and traffic is it to leave the walk to the crosswalk did you put a crosswalk right there?
- 31:23[SPEAKER_05]: I agree that's probably a good spot for some kind of markings at least.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, thank you.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you sir.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, the gentleman raises some interesting points.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_05]: I was just sparring with him a little.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_05]: Of course, I agree with him on licensing, but
- 31:40[SPEAKER_05]: That isn't held at the value it used to be, it used to be, you know, people respected that and all of that.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_05]: That's not the case anymore.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_05]: The same thing happened with gambling.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_05]: It's just proliferated.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_05]: It used to be years ago, state police had gone to place and grab one arm bandits and take them out in the street and beat them with a sledgehammer and smash them.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_05]: Well, now we have places they have electronic versions of the same thing in a totally legal.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_05]: So it's a different world than the more A's and the what's right and wrong changes.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_05]: And just the way it is.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_05]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_05]: If you'd like to give us a call and yeah, to do.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_05]: Rust text didn't concern the trial.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_05]: I'll wait and watch it on an episode of law and order small-town stupid.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_22]: Hmm.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_05]: The mayor, Mayor McDougall said that if the city didn't produce that video, millies odds of winning go up, apparently they're going to.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know why they didn't before.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe the judge just said, you know, if you can't produce that video, then it's a dismissal.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know who's prosecuting it for the D.A.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm sure it's the junior person.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_05]: Nobody wants their fingerprints all over this.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll find out later.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_05]: Court resumes at 105.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_05]: and uh... there are witnesses to be heard including millie herself and uh... apparently i'm told the wife of the choking victim the wife of the choking victim wow that would be could be powerful testimony but on the other hand you know she watched nearly lost her husband you could probably get a rattle on the stand if you wanted to
- 33:37[SPEAKER_05]: But I, you know, it's a bench trial.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_05]: So, I don't know how those play differently than a jury trial, obviously.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_05]: There's only one person you're playing to a nisteel.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I don't know.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_05]: What are we going on here?
- 33:56[SPEAKER_05]: Would you see that?
- 33:56[SPEAKER_05]: How's the horse down in Philadelphia?
- 33:58[SPEAKER_05]: Not the one near Antwerp?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_05]: I mean the one in PA?
- 34:00[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man!
- 34:03[SPEAKER_04]: What a creepy guy that is!
- 34:06[SPEAKER_05]: disposing of bodies through chemical means, well, I guess that means some kind of acid or something.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_05]: This terrible.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_05]: Congratulations to Bill's fans, big win last night, 41, 31 over up.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_05]: need to try lions at uh... the new high mark stadium and but uh... and buffalo somewhere out in a hinderlands around your county anyway other two and a one a year after a good start shot challenge five td passes and in both games they've given up some points i will say that but they want and that's all that matters now the big game of course is this uh... weekend when uh... the jets play green bay that will be a challenge they go into that with a one-and-one record i think green bay loss of first game
- 34:54[SPEAKER_05]: Well, we'll see what happens.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you will see what happens.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_05]: Now, you can get in trouble for choking.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_05]: Here's three employees charged after a nursing home resident chokes the death on a meatball, a meatball.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_05]: Wow, happened in Herkamer County.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_05]: These three were indicted.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_05]: Now this was the 34-year-old resident who required constant supervision choked on a meatball and died.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_05]: Well I guess if they needed constant supervision, I mean somebody's supposed to be there.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_05]: Probably you'd cut that meatball up quite pretty small.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_05]: I'm almost pure A at I would.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_05]: This was at one of these rehabilitation and nursing homes.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm going to tell you something.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_05]: I can't say the name because I'm not going to invoke
- 35:53[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure there's some dedicated people and a lot of them.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_05]: You've got to watch them.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_05]: You've got to watch them.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_05]: This poor guy died because he had a meatball.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_05]: This person had a rare genetic condition that caused tumors throughout her body.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_05]: It made it different all to swallow solid food.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_22]: Jesus.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_05]: She can't swallow solid food.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_05]: Give her something else.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I don't know.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_05]: No, you know, they just happen to get caught in that case.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, let's see.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_05]: All the things going on, you know, I think it's too much else.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_05]: Anybody died of AI yet?
- 36:48[SPEAKER_23]: No?
- 36:50[SPEAKER_05]: Is that died down?
- 36:51[SPEAKER_05]: Is that people gotten over that?
- 36:54[SPEAKER_05]: He's like, oh, so, a lot of who we over nothing.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_05]: Alright, well we're going to take a break and be back with more in just a moment.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_14]: It's back!
- 37:03[SPEAKER_14]: The city of Watertown, how is festival?
- 37:06[SPEAKER_14]: It's coming to the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds, October 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_14]: Enjoy carnival rides, great food, live music, the Volksmarch and a beer garden for the grown-ups.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_14]: October 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_14]: How is festival?
- 37:28[SPEAKER_13]: Last year, more than 3000 people came out for the City of Watertown's harvest festival, and you can have your own booth and be a vendor, spaces are available right now.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_13]: So, if you own a small business, then you can be in front of thousands of people at this year's harvest festival.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_13]: Friday Saturday and Sunday, October 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_13]: At the Alex stuffy Fairgrounds, get your business in front of the crowd by calling 315-782-1240.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, join these businesses at Harvest Fest.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_14]: Three Sisters Candy Jar.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_14]: First, come on, financial advisors, end renewal by Anderson.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_15]: Anthony Konstantino is an outsider, a businessman who started with nothing and built an upstate company that created more than a thousand jobs.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_15]: He's funding his own campaign so he won't take money from lobbyists, special interest or political bosses.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_15]: The fake news media has tried to destroy him with bony poles, smears and personal attacks.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_15]: In Washington, Anthony will fight to lower cost, cut regulations, improve sell and internet service.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_15]: stand-up for veterans and farmers, and protect your constitutional rights.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_15]: On your second amendment rights, Constantino has earned the National Rifle Associations endorsement and his highest rating.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_15]: The National Rifle Association calls his opponent, Blake Gendabene, a true enemy of gun owners rights.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_15]: Gendabene is endorsed by Kathy Hopel and Chuck Schumer, and they're propping up his campaign.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_15]: Constantino can't be bought and can't be boxed.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_15]: Anthony Constantino, nobody's man but yours.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_06]: I'm Anthony Gazzantino and I approve this message.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_11]: Paid for by Constantine O' for Congress.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_11]: Some businesses invest in their online presence.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_11]: Others apparently declare war on their customers.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_10]: At badwebsight.com, we believe websites should take as long as possible to load.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_10]: We are convinced that our customers enjoy searching for contacted information like it's a treasure hunt.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_10]: We reject modern mobile optimization in favor of microscopic buttons and sideways scrolling.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_10]: We maintain that every homepage deserves at least six competing fonts, cheesy music, distracting graphics, and one blurry stock photo of executives pointing at nothing.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_10]: We proudly support outdated plugins, broken links, and layouts that make your head spin.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_10]: We believe customers should have to work hard for basic information.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_10]: And finally, we suspect your competitors sincerely appreciate all of this.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_11]: Your website should build trust, not test patients.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_11]: Let Confluent help you create an online presence customer's actually want to use.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_11]: Go online at Confluent.co to get started today.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_11]: That's Confluent.co.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_11]: The news and talk authority.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_09]: W-E-T-A-M-1240.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_09]: It's all you need to know.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_05]: No, you need to know.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_05]: You know, a lot of moving and shaking in, um,
- 40:16[SPEAKER_05]: local political circles yesterday was the day that all the Republican committees around collect their county chairs up in St. Lawrence County, served by us, who was the fellow who got it was nickels time nickels.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_04]: He used to be the Republican election commissioner.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_05]: Something happened there or it was, but he beat out Susan Duffy for the chairman ship.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_05]: I hear in Jefferson
- 40:46[SPEAKER_05]: me assumed the same people are in charge gone crude i assume my young and loose county revenue much but down in uh... oh night account we had a money air here once the chair got out stood there you know so little battles around the state we even heard that i would have room or that our friend leaves joy uh... might be interested in taking out not on a day but taking out ed caucus state share
- 41:13[SPEAKER_05]: And I think that is well overdue, if you're a Republican, because that guy is presided over more losses than the 62 men's.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that guy is something.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_05]: This is because he's Nixon's son-in-law doesn't mean squat to Republicans or it shouldn't.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_05]: So if Liz wanted to take him out somehow, that's a great idea.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_05]: Not on a date, but get him out of office.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_05]: 755-1240 the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today if you have any comments on any of the aforementioned topics, please bring them in and bring them to a panic club holds it's closing party tomorrow night from three to eleven i guess down to paddock arcade and yeah and then they're gonna auction off all i don't know when that happens auction off all the stuff there i don't know what stuff there is there
- 42:03[SPEAKER_05]: But there's some decorations and furniture and stuff like that.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll see what happens next with that property downtown.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_05]: But you know, it may not be as it was.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_05]: It may be separate stores going there again.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_05]: Can we bring back the Catholic shop and the caramel corn store?
- 42:21[SPEAKER_05]: Please come on, Jake.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_05]: Can't we have our caramel corn back?
- 42:26[SPEAKER_05]: Make it like old days.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and the Catholic shop, yeah.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_05]: and get little things in there, Catholics, you know, Catholic stuff, yeah, be nice, be nice.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_05]: Ah, well, what else have we got going on here?
- 42:54[SPEAKER_05]: I was kind of interested in seeing what went on up in Clinton County, which is Platsburg with
- 43:01[SPEAKER_05]: uh... jerry commanding i don't know if she got uh... reelected his chair she'd been a big fight with constant you know and in fact the word is up there's at at least the uh... organizationally and county republicans were supporting jenda being on the down low on the premise that they could take him out in two years in jerry commanding could run
- 43:24[SPEAKER_05]: Don't know if that's true.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_05]: That's the rumor I heard.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know if that if she was reelected at their meeting.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_05]: Um, this is an article from 2025, you know, a lot of that inside politics stuff never really gets in the news because there's nobody to cover it.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's just very difficult, you know, to know what's going on and all of that stuff and nobody puts out press releases or anything like that.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_05]: So it's a way it is.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, um,
- 43:56[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, you heard the commercials for the harvest fast.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_04]: And, um, looks like a good time will be had by all of it.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_05]: It's anything like last year.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of people there.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, I mean, it's great we can have that.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I wish we could have a Christmas parade too.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_05]: But I don't, I'm all fashion.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sure the Christmas parade.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_05]: I've sort of, I might have evolved on that issue.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe it's not a good thing if people want a Christmas parade then you go to Clayton.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they're big on it.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_05]: They get a good crowd.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_05]: There's a lot of nice restaurants and all of that stuff.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_05]: Go to Clayton if you want a Christmas breed.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_05]: But if you want to harvest fast, come to the city of Watertown, October 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_05]: Spread the wealth around, all right?
- 44:43[SPEAKER_05]: Fair enough.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm, one else we got going in here.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_05]: Ummm, really isn't a lot else, we've had a lot of topics today, a lot of them.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know about the hitter guy hit by the train there governor, I hope that person's okay.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_05]: And of course the house that burned into Calb, we're sorry about that.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_05]: Cream cheese, festival, and Laoville tomorrow, should be a good time had by all, that's a nice event.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_05]: And cream cheese, I mean, who doesn't like cream cheese?
- 45:22[SPEAKER_05]: you don't know.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_05]: On a bagel, you don't like green cheese.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_05]: Anybody who doesn't?
- 45:29[SPEAKER_05]: Well, tell us what you like about green cheese if you want to call that.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_05]: Don't tell us anything else.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody said, I want cheese popcorn.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the caramel corn shop used to have that.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_05]: There was a Mr. Closer ran it, I think Charlie Closer.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, yeah, they had the caramel corn,
- 45:52[SPEAKER_05]: Why can't we have that back again, Jake?
- 45:55[SPEAKER_05]: Huh?
- 45:56[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'd like some of that.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_05]: Um, let's see.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_05]: And I guess, um, Democratic County Committees meet on the 23rd.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_05]: So there you go.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_05]: Was there also a hobby shop in there with remote control cars and airplanes?
- 46:28[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if I can't remember that.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_04]: I definitely remember the carmelcore in shop.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_05]: I remember the record store over Wilson's jeweler's.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, I remember getting here all the records there and I, you know, I build me up buttercup, songs like that.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, back in that era.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, what else was in the arcade?
- 46:50[SPEAKER_05]: It was Robinson's in the arcade.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_05]: That was a big shop, yeah.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_05]: kind of a variety store.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_05]: There was a barber in there and some other stuff too.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_05]: I just can't quite remember.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_05]: There were things upstairs, some offices, and all that.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_05]: So hopefully it all gets filled.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_05]: Toughest part about the arcade is
- 47:13[SPEAKER_04]: from a retail standpoint is getting people inside.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_05]: In other words, the parking's not readily available and you have to walk to get inside.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_05]: You can't see it all from the street.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_05]: That's a, so it really needs a little more creative marketing effort.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_05]: But obviously they got, you know, and there had been businesses in there that was at Vietnamese coffee shop.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_05]: That thought that was very nice.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_05]: There was a place that made cakes.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_05]: Not sure if it's still there.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_05]: you tell me you tell me what's going on there okay 755 1240 the phone number if you'd like to be on the hotline today and this is Friday so it's the end of the week we take the weekend off move on do other things and you enjoy yourselves it looks like great weather temperatures a little cooler in the
- 48:09[SPEAKER_05]: It's picked in weather, but it isn't.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's, you know, the water is still warm and as long as the sun is out, it's okay.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, apparently the person and I'll be in who died with a meatball, took it from someone else's plate.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, sorry, it happened.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, it happened.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, let's see the life-saver village training accident male youth and upstate serious injuries.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, JJ Stockers was in the arcade.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they sold office materials.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_05]: I remember that.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_05]: Remember going there for things?
- 49:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, boy, that was something.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody else checks in.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_05]: Why are you too cheap to have NFL football on it?
- 49:06[SPEAKER_05]: You're bar.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I do if it's on Fox or CBS or NBC or ABC, but it's on the cable.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_05]: But no, it's not a question.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I would say to you, why are you so cheap?
- 49:16[SPEAKER_05]: Buy it for your family.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_05]: The cost of a commercial license to air copyrighted programming is quite expensive.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_05]: And frankly, for someone who's just looking for if it's free, it's for me.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_05]: It ain't worth it as a business decision.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_05]: So you'd be better off.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_05]: going to Buffalo Wild Wings that probably has all the games because they buy the NFL package or staying at home and paying for Amazon or Netflix or self.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_04]: Now, 755-1240, the phone number, if you'd like to be on the show of shows today.

- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'll fight to make New York more affordable.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: Keep our communities safe and make sure decisions that belong here stay here.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: There's no substitute for experience in the career in your community or in life.

- 50:36[SPEAKER_25]: The lights are back on.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_25]: The stands are filling up, and Friday night football has returned to the North country.

- 51:41[SPEAKER_08]: The only fully automated redemption center in the area.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_08]: Your account is done fast, right?

- 52:14[SPEAKER_17]: I left for college and work, but I returned home to the North Country in 2009, and I've been living working and serving my community ever since.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_17]: I'm not running to be a career politician.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_17]: I'm running to listen because North Country families deserve a voice that listens.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_17]: One that carries our rural community's voices to Albany.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_17]: I'll work for better health care, stronger EMS, reliable broadband, and opportunities for our families and every community to thrive.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_17]: Because I believe in the people who call the North Country home,
- 52:48[SPEAKER_17]: Our future belongs to all of us, and it should be built by all of us, not just a few.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_17]: All of us together.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_17]: I'm Cassie Robbins Forbidden, and I'm asking for your vote.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_17]: I'd be honored to have it.

- 53:14[SPEAKER_05]: WATN, yeah, and I made Ms.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_05]: Poker earlier of Josh Allen through three past touchdowns and ran for two buddies.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_05]: Still got five.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_05]: Still a good job.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_05]: So there you go.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_05]: Cassie Robbins for this running for Senate New York 49th District.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_05]: I guess that and I don't
- 53:35[SPEAKER_05]: Neither of the candidates have come in and told me anything.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know who's running.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, just me, I don't know what do I know.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_05]: Just listen to media people like me.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_05]: Why would anybody, anybody know who these people are?
- 53:54[SPEAKER_05]: Wouldn't it seem if you wanted to promote a candidacy that you would introduce yourself to the influencers, editors, news directors, all of that up?
- 54:04[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I had a time.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_05]: Isn't that how it works?
- 54:07[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's how it works.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_05]: And you know, introduce yourself, anybody who will allow yourself to be introduced.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_05]: in the North country is like, well, I think I'll just throw my name in the half.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's good, that's great.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_05]: So who's gonna run next year for mayor?
- 54:29[SPEAKER_05]: Is there gonna be Cliff Olney?
- 54:30[SPEAKER_05]: We think Dr. Kimball is.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I can't imagine the current mayor running again.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't know who else.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_05]: Some people say Ben shown.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_05]: really difficult to say.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_05]: Some of the checks in you are too intimidated.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think Mr. Gendaby left here a happy man the other day didn't seem intimidated by me?
- 55:00[SPEAKER_05]: You know, the whole purpose of the interview is just try to ask questions to give the public a better understanding of who the person is.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_05]: It's not the, here's the issues, check, check.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_05]: No, I don't care about the issues.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_05]: I want to know about the person.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_05]: You know, let Jeff Cole check off the issues or somebody like that.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of real journalists do that.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not here as a real journalist.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_05]: So no, I'm not too intimidating.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_05]: I think I'm very nice to people.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_05]: Good afternoon, Ronier.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_04]: I'm here at the Beaver River Incident with the Young Girl.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.

- 55:34[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I said something.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that was a set up deal by her social media.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_04]: She talked to the teacher day before she brought the coffee

- 56:17[SPEAKER_02]: Give me a break.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: Stop saying the money for this nonsense.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_02]: Gold swad me is to help people that need help.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sick child.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: They need money to pay the bills or pay the transportation.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's not to help some young lady.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_02]: They want to get out of social media.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_02]: The hell with social media?
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's ruined the country.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a hundred times, Mayor.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_05]: yeah well i don't know the young lady but you did not say anything if you found out what it was about if i don't uh... it does appear that she wanted the confrontation yes she wanted to be a cunt job well she could be a community organizer that she might have a career i don't know
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: But did not profits pay for the parade?
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: They don't have any of the bills, except payroll to pay the people running these stock profits are making six figures to give you it.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_02]: They're not paying anything else.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_02]: Let them pay for the parade.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_02]: $13,000 to the Nick of this budget in the city.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_02]: It should be shutting down the parade.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think the parade is nonsense, but young children love it.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, well, I don't think we're gonna have a thousand dollars just not a lot of money Mayer in this with this ability you agree.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, I don't I don't think it was ever the money They just don't want to hold it.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_02]: They don't feel it's relevant anymore City man's worried about overtime give me a break.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's an issue.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_05]: We never stop in this city All right, you know what I'd like to know.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_05]: I'd like to know if the
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: part of the orbit, 80, 90,000 year over time.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing going on.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, well, what I'd like to know is are we paying overtime to the officers or testifying against Millie?
- 58:27[SPEAKER_02]: Probably are.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's a another ridiculous two.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_02]: Why are we wasting time bringing this is a nice lady?
- 58:35[UNKNOWN]: Millie went overseas to Ukraine to help sick.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_05]: I do recall it.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 58:41[UNKNOWN]: Big article on it.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 58:43[UNKNOWN]: My God.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know, she stood up against a water-town superintendent that thinks she's a part of everybody.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_02]: He knows everything.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't want anybody questioning, and he just says, he makes, here's a guy driving a vehicle in our pocket for him.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_02]: But it's totally outrageous, a super-tendant doesn't need a car.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_02]: Drive your own car for God's sake, somebody you're making here.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_02]: What are you throwing us?
- 59:17[SPEAKER_05]: I know they look- What's this guy leap further to come the water town?
- 59:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they give them cars because it makes them feel important.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_05]: Listen, I got a run, I'm out of time.
