- 0:00Speaker 1: H close your eyes and take a deep breath in
- 0:29and then slowly and gently breathe out again. Deep breath in,
- 0:40and slowly and gently breathe out. One final time, deep
- 0:47breath in and slowly and gently breathe out. Just bring
- 0:55your breathing back to its normal rhythm and relax. Let
- 1:00your body sink into your bed, and just allow yourself
- 1:04to just relax naturally. Take a few breaths and exhale
- 1:10slowly as you feel your muscles relaxing and getting softer
- 1:16as you sink deeper and deeper into your lovely soft bed. Now,
- 1:23imagine yourself standing on a beautiful beach filled with golden sand,
- 1:29and the sun is shining and there's not one single
- 1:32cloud in the sky. The sky is an amazing blue color.
- 1:37It's so wonderful. Then it looks like it's alive, so
- 1:42alive that you'd almost reach out and touch it, Almost
- 1:48so alive that you can feel the vibrations, just almost
- 1:53feel them. And if you look closely enough, maybe you
- 1:58can see the shimmering vibrations as they move slowly and
- 2:01gently through the sky. You turn your attention to the
- 2:07ocean and see the movement of the waves as they
- 2:11gently come up to the shore. The sun shines so
- 2:15brightly on the surface of the water that it looks
- 2:18like it's glistening with starlight. And as you look at it,
- 2:22you find yourself feeling so peaceful. It's so calm, and
- 2:28you imagine what it would feel like to just float
- 2:32on the water and let the waves gently take you
- 2:36to wherever you need to be. It's then that you
- 2:42notice something moving amongst the waves, and you see a
- 2:45little head just bobbing up and down. You're not sure
- 2:49what it is at first, but then you realize it's
- 2:52a turtle, and the little turtle is swimming your way.
- 2:59The turtle comes out of the ocean and onto the sand,
- 3:03and he has the most amazing smile on his tiny face.
- 3:07He looks so happy that you find yourself smiling back
- 3:10at him. He comes up alongside of you and he
- 3:14says aloud, and he tells you that his name is Teddy.
- 3:18He is extremely cute, and he looks ever so cuddly,
- 3:22and he can stand on his back legs, and he
- 3:26has little turtle flippers, big brown twinkling eyes, funny little nose,
- 3:33and the sweetest smile on his tiny face. You say
- 3:38hello to him and tell him your name, and you
- 3:40are so very pleased to meet him. Teddy tells you
- 3:45that he has a little cave he likes to have
- 3:47a sleepover him sometimes. He tells you that it's just
- 3:51behind the tropical trees at the edge of the sand.
- 3:56Teddy asks you if you would like to stay and
- 3:58play with him today. He asks you if you would
- 4:02like to have a sleepover in his cave.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Wow.
- 4:07Speaker 1: He tells you that it has all more cons too.
- 4:10It's not just a cave with no windows and no
- 4:13proper floor, you know. Oh, no, only the best were Teddy.
- 4:17His cave has carpets and fluffy rugs to it has
- 4:22everything he needs to be comfortable and warm, and he
- 4:26tells you he even has nice candles that make his
- 4:30cave smell ever so nice. So you tell him that
- 4:36you would love to spend the day with him and
- 4:38would love it even more to be able to stay
- 4:41in his little cave. So the two of you set
- 4:46off across the sand to Teddy's cave, and just as
- 4:50you reach the open into Teddy's cave, you notice that
- 4:54there is a volleyball cord just outside it. Teddy sees
- 4:59you're looking, and he asks you if you would like
- 5:01to play a game of volleyball with him. He says
- 5:04it's his favorite game of all time. Oh yes, please,
- 5:08you say.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You both get ready to play, and when you begin,
- 5:14you wonder, how, how, just how will Teddy be able
- 5:20to get the ball over the net, because, after all,
- 5:23Teddy is well, he's a bit small with tiny flippers.
- 5:28You look over at Teddy and you see and he's
- 5:32attaching something made of wood to his back legs.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It stilts.
- 5:37Speaker 1: He's fastening stilts to his legs, and when he stands up,
- 5:42he's now the same height as you.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Just as Teddy is walking towards you, you both hear
- 5:52a rustle from the trees, and out pops a very
- 5:55beautiful gray donkey and a rather large and white ostriche.
- 6:02Teddy looks delighted and has a very happy smile on
- 6:05his face. Hello, he says to the two newcomers. Teddy
- 6:13tells you that they are his very best friends. The
- 6:17beautiful gray donkey is called Josephine, and she has the
- 6:21most amazing big blue eyes, which is really very unusual
- 6:28as donkeys have big brown eyes. And the black and
- 6:32white Ostriche is called Henrietta and she is very tall.
- 6:38They both say hello to you and how nice it
- 6:40is to meet you. They tell Teddy that they have
- 6:44come to play too, so the four of you begin
- 6:49your game of volleyball. So for a few moments, just
- 6:54have fun playing volleyball with Teddy, Josephine and Henrietta and
- 7:00maybe get to know them better.
- 8:00Speaker 2: To few, that was a good game.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Who won. You are all feeling a little bit tired
- 9:20now and need a rest because you've had a very
- 9:24exciting and very energetic game. Teddy invites you all into
- 9:30his cave to have some cold drinks and some cakes
- 9:33and some sweet Teddy's cave is wonderful. There's a lot
- 9:39of toys and games to play with.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It has big soft.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Bean bags for seats, lots of them, which, by the way,
- 9:49are very comfortable. Teddy says that he uses his to
- 9:55sleep on as he doesn't need a bed, and you
- 9:58think that is a very good idea. As you sink
- 10:01down into your lovely soft beanbag, the little happy turtle
- 10:06tells you that when you woke up this morning, you
- 10:10didn't think what a wonderful day you were going to have.
- 10:14And you woke up to a beautiful day of life,
- 10:18a life that wholds adventure and many surprises and new friends.
- 10:26You think to yourself, how very thankful you are that
- 10:29you simply woke up and had the opportunity to experience
- 10:32this wonderful day, and you feel so very blessed. You
- 10:39also learn things today, A how to play volleyball with
- 10:43a turtle on stilts. A turtle on stilts.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Now that was fun.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Teddy tells you that he is grateful for all life's lessons,
- 10:56pig and small. He tells you that he learned some
- 11:00I knew every single day. Then he does a happy
- 11:06little dance and it makes you feel all the happiness
- 11:10in your own heart. He tells you that every day
- 11:15he says thank you out loud. In fact, he says
- 11:19it lots of times during the day, especially when he
- 11:23feels happy and grateful for his life. You realize that
- 11:30you too have many things to be grateful and happy for,
- 11:34your family, your friends, the animals that you love, the
- 11:41trees and how they move gently in the breeze. So
- 11:45many things to be grateful for the big things and
- 11:49especially the small things.
- 11:53Speaker 2: And you're very thankful for this.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Teddy does another little happy dance and that makes you giggle.
- 12:02Teddy reminds you that all of these people they love
- 12:06you just exactly the way you are, and you feel
- 12:12so good in your heart knowing that you are loved
- 12:16and cared for very very much. Teddy looks so happy
- 12:22that you are all here with him, and he's just
- 12:26loving it. But now it's time for everyone to go
- 12:31to bed, because what you didn't realize was that while
- 12:36you were all chatting and drinking your cold drinks and
- 12:39eating your cakes and your sweets, the sun has set
- 12:43and it's now dark outside, but not too dark, as
- 12:48the stars are shining and twinkling very brightly in the
- 12:52night sky. Josephine and Henrietta have also decided that they
- 12:59too are going to join in your sleepover with Teddy.
- 13:04So you all settle down on your big, squashy beanbags,
- 13:09and you think to yourself that life is so much
- 13:13better when we take time to be grateful for all
- 13:16that we have and for all of the wonderful moments
- 13:20we experience in our lives. He lean back and your
- 13:25comfy bean bag and close your eyes for just a
- 13:29little bit, And even though your eyes are closed, you
- 13:35still smile to yourself, feeling so peaceful and calm.
- 13:40Speaker 2: So relaxed.
- 13:43Speaker 1: And as you sink deeper and deeper into your comfy
- 13:47bean bag, you say good night to Teddy and to
- 13:52Josephine and to Henrietta, your new friends. You take a
- 13:58deep sigh, relaxing even further, sinking down and down, sinking
- 14:08down and down into blissful sleep, feeling so very happy.
- 14:16And you take a breath and you say it back out,
- 14:21going deeper and deeper into sleep. And your eyes feel
- 14:27so heavy now, so relaxed, so peaceful and calm, but
- 14:35you feel so very very happy, just like Teddy the
- 14:42happy Turtle. To sleep now and just rest.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Do do Do.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Do Do
