- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to the show, Greg.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for having me.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's nice to see you.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: see this is this is the time when I was I wish I was like Bob and I wish I had this whole audio component thing where I could have a pause and then I could play easy like Sunday morning even though I'd probably get sued but that would be your theme song so you know or you're not your yeah I guess it would be your theme song it would be your intro song so everybody just has to pretend
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: When I did the Allison Gill, you know, did the daily beans on the road and we had to pick a theme song and I asked my son to pick mine because he's better at this stuff and he picked careless whisper.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: and it's every one always like never didn't get a lot like you know so oh my god that's so funny yeah it's good I miss I miss George Michael how have you been doing before we get into all the ugly crazy shit of today how are you
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: I am okay, you know, it qualified okay.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's always a thorny question to ask an answer as you know, but there's a guy friend of mine in the coin world that I asked him once, how are you doing?
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, how are you and he says, I am notably well.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, I know that was a good response.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know, gestures around at the world on fire, other than that, everything's fine.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's all about what that means.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: Everything's fine.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: We're the dog.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: We're in the fire.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: But you know what, hey, I like to, I always like to take the
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: the optimistic view.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: And even though we're living in it, shithole and everything has been destroyed in front of our eyes, including our food.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's going to, I hope that's going to motivate people because my argument has always been people who are comfortable, usually don't do anything.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: They have to get uncomfortable.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think we're all pretty uncomfortable right now.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we can't even eat.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, you know, I don't know.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but I'm going to start.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: I want to start with off soft.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason I want to start with him, John on soft is because it looks like he's going to win in November.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: And he's clearly going to run for president.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I know everybody's like, I'll we shouldn't talk about 20 to 28.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't fucking care.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: I want to talk about it.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: Because I do think we're going to get past this election.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to talk about the election in a minute.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not going to try to predict anything.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: I am not a predictor, but I can see what's happening in front of my eyes with awesome.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: And he's freaking out the Republican party.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: He, some people call him a centrist, but they like him anyway if they're progressive.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not seeing super duper scandal around him.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, this is way fucking early.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I know it.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: But what I'm seeing is like, I'm not seeing all, like, for instance, when Gavin Newsom was super popular because he was trolling Trump, you would still have people saying, I don't want him to be the nominee.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I'm one of them.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: If he's the nominee, I'm not going for him.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, no, I don't like it.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, I'm not a Newsom guy, but you know.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean either.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna vote for whoever the nominee is though.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: So that said, I just don't see that happening with us.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: So like, what are you seeing with him?
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: And what is your gut feeling about him?
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think that, you know, first of all, we have to get through just a bit of that we're going to, we're going to, we're going to give it a get this all a qualified we have to get through because I don't trust that they're going to, I don't know that they're going to make it free and fair.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to try everything.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: No, right.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get to that later because I don't want to go on awesome.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: So, uh, I think that whoever the nominee is it needs to be somebody new.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: Cannot be one of these Chuck Schumer era.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, no.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: What we need somebody that's not part of the quote on quote establishment So but also somebody who isn't wacky doodles and I think that he's you know He's got that down because he's pretty young.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's obviously very smart He isn't fact related to my boss who really one of the smartest people I know so he's he's very smart
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: he speaks very well, obviously, and you know, I think there's a lot there that a lot of people in the country can look out and feel comfortable with, including people that don't want to vote for a Democrat, you know, that kind of
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm going to vote for whoever wins the nomination obviously and I think it's so far a long that it knows and if he's running against Vance, I don't think Vance has any constituency beyond the show room and you think Alan and Peter Teele, I don't even think
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I, you know, who's, but no, our soft is great, but the, the, the, the only thing about our soft that I can say that's bad as I really think
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he's just in it because he wants to travel with Natalie.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I know.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, really.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, wow, what is what a shame.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: What we got out of these people, you know, we want people to be authentic, but we also want people to not be afraid to tell us what's happening.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Whoever it is has to articulate.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: what we're up against.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: And so far, the Democrats buy in large have failed to adequately do that.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: They've taken these enormous, I mean, Trump was always, as you and I have discussed many times for years, a threat because he's anti-democratic.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: He's a fascist, he's a racist, he's a sexist, he's stupid, he's a mobster, he's all of these things.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: you know, uh, we don't want any of that.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: And uh, but you know, even Biden didn't take it seriously, the threat.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: We knew it was a threat.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: You can't treat this guy like he's a normal political candidate because he ain't.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and I think Osloff would go in there swinging.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: which is what we need to do, you know, um, too much defense with the Democrats, exactly.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: You have to go on in the offensive because when, you know, when they're in the, uh, the state where they're being defensive, why do they suck at it?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they're so bad.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: They suck at it because also what they're doing is
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: So if it's going to be him I'm fine with him.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: I like him better than Mark Kelly because I think Mark Kelly is too much a part of the establishment and a little too old.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think I really, I would love it to be somebody younger.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's that's.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I'm not going to be married to any candidate.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm just looking at him and I'm seeing that he's ascending and I know we're going to have another
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: Very large pool of candidates and it's going to be ugly and I'm doing I'm just not going to get into it You know because I feel like the democratic voter specifically including some of the leaders when when we you know I know everybody wants their shot and then in order to get their shot They have to kind of
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know, throw the digs at the other ones, but we're seeing it.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's really bad now.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just I can't get into this whole in fighting thing on our side.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: I've done it for several years.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: I've taken sides.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: I've not not that I was always I think like I was always a pragmatic progressive.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I also recognized the importance of the big tent theory and truth of the big tent.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's like, well, look, you know, they're an AOC's never going to win in Iowa.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: So let's not worry about it, right?
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: If she's in New York, that's fine.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I know we're talking about the president, but still it's the same thing.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's the same ideas.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's so angry.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that this year's going to be super,
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: tense because of what's happening now and the stakes are so high.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I think people recognize the stakes more than they ever have.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I just think, unfortunately, I think fear is going to win out at least, you know, through the primaries.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Democrats are going to be stupid with each other.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just not going to get involved.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just going to, I suppose.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of the
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: in the little silos on social media.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think it translates into the world that much.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not worried about it.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, I find it boring.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: I find it tedious and boring.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't care.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: I, yeah.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's to me, this all of this is like, you know,
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: When Stalin took over the Soviet Union, he was clamped down on all the arts and stuff, and you had to get, if you were going to make motion pictures, he had to approve them personally.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: So it would be like, and so Sergei, he had to approve his Ivan Terrible movies to get made by Stalin was literally his boss, which is, you know,
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: Terrible and it's I feel like we're in that position We're installing is the boss and we're worrying about how we're gonna get the movie made and you and I are talking about who's gonna win the Academy award in 23
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's seizing all the cameras, you know, it's not, it's not even a thing.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I just to me the whole thing is just tedious and I don't I don't care.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: I whoever it is is better than what we have.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yes, you know, there are plants in the backyard where I'm looking at that I would render house.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and people have to remember that it's R. It's us too.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, they look at our leadership and think that's where that's where it ends.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no, it's us.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, I mean, I know that they fuck us over many times, but what look at hungry, look what happened in hungry, and so I just keep, you know, keep going back to that, but so to your point, okay, let's get to the talk of the midterms.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, do you think that the Democratic Party and Democratic voters are ready for whatever their planning interference cheating whatever you fill in the blank intimidation.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of people in the grounds maybe are, but I don't think that the leadership is.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: I just, it, because the democratic leadership is the Chuck Schumer's and the Hakeem Jeffrey, and they just don't take it seriously.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, they're still acting like, this is like, you know, a friendly neighborhood, game of dodgeball, and the other side has like, Tommy guns that they're firing us.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just ain't the same thing.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're going to need to have people articulate what Trump is going to try to do.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of different ways that he's going to try to buck with the election.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's just, you know, I don't know about any of the technical shit.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even want to get into that aspect.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let's pretend that that's nothing.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: But they can send people to the polls.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: They can get ice mode of it.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: There's lots of ways that they can do the old-fashioned voter suppression shift, which they are so good at, because they've been doing it for such a long time.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: But in states where it's closer, where the votes are closer, whatever, that it makes a difference if people are ready to go to the polls or whatever.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then they're going to try all the legal machinery that they can cook up to try to argue, oh no, this, this wasn't the certification of the blah, blah, blah, blah, whatever it is, they're going to try to do, they're going to try to do because if we win, if we take the house, he's going to get impeached.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I said that in 2017 and I was very wrong.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: But I think at this point, if the house didn't impeach him immediately, there would be like the Democrats would have a riot.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: So I would hope so.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I think if there is a Democrat in the house, he will be impeached.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if they were smart, they could do the 14th Amendment Section 3 thing.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: And all they have to do is vote on is Trump eligible to hold office.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: Is this insurrectionist leader eligible to hold office?
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: Do we absolve him of, you know, whatever the verbiage is in that section 3?
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: And if the answer is no, which it would be because it would be.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Democrats controlling it, then he ceases to be president per the 14 demand.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's the easiest.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's the easiest thing to do.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: And it only requires one of the chambers, because both of them have to agree to wave the requirement.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: So as I understand it.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the easiest thing to do.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: And we could have done this all Chuck Schumer could have done this in 2020, you know, it's really infuriating.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: But these are the Democrats have to not only win,
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: they have to go in their determined to kick this guy's ass and round up the traders and and make them pay the price whatever the price winds up being these people cannot ever be in positions of power ever again they need to be pride they need to be convicted and they need to have serious punishments for their actions not just for our country to survive but for our alliances to survive
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: because the European countries are in other allies, South Korea this week.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: They're looking at us like, what is going on with this week?
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: Are they even our allies anymore?
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: And the answer is no, we are not.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: We the people are, but our government is not Trump's government is aligned with Putin and with Netanyahu and with Enshi, you know, and that's who they are.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: And that guy and what's El Salvador, Buckele, or whatever, the guy that Rubio is crushing on hard, that's who we are right now.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: This was a temporary blip of insanity, we're back now, and we're back with a vengeance.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: Remember when you were going to shut down the NATO, no, that's not happening anymore.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: We're reinvesting in NATO, reinvesting in USAID.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: We're reinvesting in everything.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: We're giving Ukraine whatever they need.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're giving Ukraine to win the war with Russia.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: And Taiwan, you want to mess with Taiwan, you're not going to want to do that.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: on our watch anymore.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like that kind of stuff.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: These are basic things, but that's the, you know, and we have to immediately, okay, we want 81 Supreme Court justices, let's put it, let's make legislate, you know, they have to do the thing that FDR did, which I, I hope that Biden would do and he did not.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: This is the one, I think we've talked about this before, but the one thing that Trump did that one must admire is that he wasn't afraid to do shit when in there and if it was illegal he pushed the bounds of the law and if it wasn't illegal he did whatever he wanted even if it would defied convention and it turned out a lot of these things are just convention or not illegal and you know and he did it for evil, but we need to have we need to go in there and do it for good.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: We need to have Puerto Rico be a state.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: We need to have DC be a thing.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: We need to have fucking Guam be a state of whatever.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we need to expand the Supreme Court.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: We need to get rid of the electoral college.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: And we need to do all these things.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: And some of that, you know, some of it's harder than other things.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like I think that,
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: The Senate, as long as the Senate is not tied in any way shape or form to population, it's going to be a problem, because California has two senators and so does Wyoming.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: And there's more people in the Bronx than they are.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's ridiculous.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: There's ways to fix that, but that requires an amendment which requires a lot more votes.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: And the senators aren't going to vote to
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: take power away from themselves.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, the point being, anything that we can do, we have to do.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: If that means we're going to arrest everybody, that we think is involved with J6.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: That means tubber bill.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: That means, and the day that we arrest everybody, that's when we go in and have a vote.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: And let them wheel Mitch McConnell's corpse in there.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know,
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: Can you believe that this is the, like this is the, I've been rambling, I'm sorry, this is the, this is the, this is the state that we're in.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's not just that this guy is almost certainly dead or brain dead or severely he cannot function in the job.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, you know, he may, it's just like auto-gram being the quarterback of the Brown.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's good dead for a while, uh, that it's not going to work out.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: You can listen on the deck chart.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: But he's not going to throw work, you know, he's not going to work out.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but and then we have Bashir and the Democrats that you know, it's actually better let them just be dead because then it just we you know, we won't waste the but like they're they're thinking strategically and tactically, which is good, but it's also you step back and you're like this is lucky and saying the guy's dead you've been dead for months.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, how can we not know.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: We can't have somebody who hasn't come out yet and say no way or the, like, like, where's his daughter?
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is she not, like, I don't get it.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, did they all have to say, like, and, and, and D.A.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: is or something?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what the fuck is going on?
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: And, but you know what, I keep going back to this and I, this is my hyper optimistic side.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: And, and I'm not even saying I'm making a prediction or anything.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like I always want to see things through that optimistic lens and I just keep feeling like the worst it is the worst it gets right now the better.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: It is in the long term because the more uncomfortable people are, the more they see how ridiculous, and again, it's about help can people see this will people see this, but you know, we got I know Alison Gill and Dana Goldberg on the daily beings just recently talked about all the influx of new photos, right?
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to have all these young people come in who have, you know,
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Not everyone's going to have a progressive stance, but a lot of them will because so many of things that are happening today are affecting their future and they're right now so I do think that that's a positive, but you know I mean that's the only that that's the positive I try to take out of everything that's happening because I feel like it's so.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's so shockingly unbelievable that it's got to work to our advantage, otherwise we're just going to completely collapse into ourselves and, you know, become Russia and I just can't fucking I cannot go there, but I want to ask you this question.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to get into I am not getting involved in infighting.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't give a shit, but I'm noticing what's going on and my question for you is now we're seeing a lot of these DSA candidates winning and we're seeing certain let's say traditional.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: People in the party saying this is a bad thing because they can't win in a general or, or, or, you know, in a midterm or whatever.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: What are your thoughts on that?
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: Because I don't remember her name, but she won by a significant amount and it is Florida, so like what do you think?
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's the argument that Vinnman would have been able to win and she can't, but then you look at the amounts of votes she got.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know is there's something changing.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: How do you see these candidates that are supposedly at least online kind of framed as negative because they're DSA, but they're like winning really big in their districts.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: So like what do you make at that?
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: I have to start with the caveat that I suck at this.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get left to it.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get left to it.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: Because I can't, my bias is towards decency and goodness and intelligence.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: And that just has failed me.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I'm an again, one analyzing the American electorate.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: But I, first of all, the name has to go.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: They need a different name.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: Campy, democratic, social, it's make up a fucking name.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: They just get, I don't know what's wrong with our side in coming up with names.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like we have all the writers work for us.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: Why can't that the whole, you know, the forward thinking putting something right, right, stone temple pilots party and literally anything is better than what we're seeing now, you know, because if you just, it's just a meaningless name, even.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: it's the, and then everyone will fight over the definition of it.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: They get so locked into that data.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: They're not looking at what it's about.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter what people I think what people are responding to is that those candidates represent not the establishment.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I think people are that those votes aren't so much votes for DSA as their votes against Chuck Schumer and Pelosi
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: you know, uh, way of doing things.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now, every person is different, you know, I don't know that that I don't know enough about the candidates.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that all of these people are moving in lockstep necessarily.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: No, they're not.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: Bernie Sanders is a very good scold, but he sucks at actually writing and getting laws past and governing.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, is it going to be a situation where these people get in and then they can't do anything and they're just.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: you know, playing for the camera isn't it's all performative bullshit?
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but I think people are voting for them less because they're DSA and more because they're not.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: They want, they want change.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: They want hope they want, they want people that are talking about what they care about.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like the Obama fact, you know, that's, it was new.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: He was young.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: He was saying different things.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: He gave us hope.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's the same same idea.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: And they said the same stuff about him that they say about this.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's a muslim, he's just a nod, he's going to do Sharia law.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: We're still waiting for that.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know who wants Sharia law in the United States?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: Literally no one.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what is that for Republicans?
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like none of the...
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, none of the Muslims that I've spoken to once the real law, this is like, it's just not even a real thing.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's like the scourge of trans women playing in the WND.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: There aren't any.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: There's no scourge.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's not such an issue.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's not real.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, it's Fox News bullshit.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_00]: So I think care of it.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll see, you know, what happens with the, you know, in the actual November elections,
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think that, you know, there's going to be a wave of blue.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, me too.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out in some of these red states, but.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I just, I heard, I heard what's going on in the background.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in the back of my office and my son just came out and must have been startled, but me there's a snake down there or something.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh no.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, snakes and Greg's house.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm the work.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to walk down here so that that you can't hear anyone.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but I thought, oh my god, are they coming into my podcast?
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, that ice here has ice entered the chat.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: Not yet.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: Ice is entered the chat.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: You can tell because they put the electric shock gloves on and then they and then they stopped that it's take a pee and now they now they had to go to the ambulance Yeah, so I Okay, well, you know what
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: And keeping with everything you just said, let's add to this because this is a different subject now, but the I like everybody keep in mind, like this election is coming up right and we have all these people in this country dealing with all these issues right now, like, and we're going to get to the all our poisoning of our food and all of that, but did you hear the news about the USS Lincoln about the fact that Iran destroyed a key Navy resupply base.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: No, I didn't know.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so this is just, it just came out.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know I got it from the New Republic, but basically, and I wanna get my information here, but yeah, HECESS chose to keep this quiet.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: And ultimately, it is Navy sailors or, you know, they're jumping off the Lincoln because Iran destroyed the resupplied base in the Middle East, like right at the start, they're not getting enough food, they're not getting enough medication.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: And so, um, okay, let me read this here.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: This is from MS now.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: It says recent reports of the horrific conditions aboard U.S. Navy ships showed that the Navy was clearly under tremendous strain.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: Family members of sailors aboard the Abraham Lincoln have reported food shortages, sanitation issues during the Lincoln's more than 200 days without a port call.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: There have been multiple instances where sailors have tried to jump over board.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: And so, Higgs F has not told us this, and this is why they're jumping.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then I know this is the New York Post, but one of the headlines in the New York Post the other day was, don't buy the left East Crocodile tiers over the USS Abraham Lincoln crew.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, they're just a bunch of suckers and losers, right?
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: The, and this is, there's a lot of, you know, ways to attack this question, but yeah.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, somebody that that my mom is good friends with who is maga, my mom is not maga, my mom is very not maga and is driven crazy by the maga people around her, but anyway, this woman is my mom said something and they don't usually talk about my mom said something about the
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: you know the Abraham Lincoln and the woman was like oh no there's nothing wrong that was just a fake story you know that the secretary of the navy or the said that it was that was okay and first of all it's not secretary of the navy it's acting secretary of the navy whose name literally is hung because ptxf likes men who are hung and then hung
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm, I'm the thanks, I'll be here all week.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: Don't forget to tip your wachers.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, but like, people are perceiving things differently.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: They're not even getting the news.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's like, these are families of the people on the ship that are running this.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's fucking true, okay?
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: So, and military families will make noise about it.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now, yeah, I don't know that headset, I don't know that if we're legitimately at war and this whole thing is is kind of a joke, I don't want to say that because there are people who are restraining their lives for this ridiculous man.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: But like, I don't know, are we at war or we're not in change over 15 minutes, like I can't, it's hard to keep track of what's happening.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: But.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in the military, you're planning for a war.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: And when you're planning for a war, you don't necessarily want everybody to know.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, by the way, it destroyed our splobin.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: So I think to that story, I get that, that's not an issue that I have.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_00]: The issue is, why is that ships still out there?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if it cannot be received, get it back.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it needs to come back.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: These are people on that ship are mostly young.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, you know, 18, 19, 20, 21 years old.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: They're children, basically, in this position, in the middle of the ocean, and not being taken care of.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not like, I think somebody said, it's not like they're chasing the Japanese who just bomb Pearl Harbor.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: There's new row of reasons like there's nothing that's getting this whole like Iran's going to have nuclear weapons in two weeks.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: No one in the United States cares about that.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: right?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know anyone who's ever said to you, you know, I was going to go to sleep and I was just worried about a brand getting new.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: So like, it's who gives a shit if they have it.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, it's not true, but also like that's on the long list of things to worry about, that's so far down the list.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like even the reasons to go into Vietnam were at least more believable
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: That was the whole, you know, communism and we have to stop the spread of the thing and at the time, I think it made sense.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think people did understand it and did get behind it in a real way.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: This is, there's no, there's no there there.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is just clearly moronic.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: Trump is clearly profiting from it by his, his announcements.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: His family certainly profiting from it.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: Ms.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: Brain, she's so smart.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: She's very smart, but she's like so smart.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: She thinks that she thinks that the reason that there's all this under supply, and this could be Hague Seth saying that to take the spotlight off if she's right, and she put out a tweet about this yesterday, is that there's all this military budget.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: Where's it going?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: How do we know who's going?
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to subsubcontract her.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: And she's saying, yeah, and the subcontractor is paying off the kickback to whoever, and somehow it's winding up in Trump's pocket, whether it's him or his family or whatever, because this is what happened in Russia.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: This is what Putin did, and that's what they're trying to do, which is why Trump can't get rid of headset, even though headset is clearly clearly
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: So out of his depth, you know, Trump can't get rid of him because the theory goes because Hexet is the one who is diverting the supply chains.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's in the pocket.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: Also, I think I think, and I'm not even joking, I think Trump just enjoys looking at Hexet.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's just like, ooh, this is a handsome man that's sitting next to me.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: Put him here, get Rubio away.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: Put him on the decoy plan.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: We spy on that whole thing.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: I could not, I couldn't, I, it's not possible for me to care less about that story.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: But, de-quipe.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about the decoy.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about the escape.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about the cart.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: I, the idea that I ran was trying to assassinate Trump is ridiculous.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Why would they do that?
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: the the fight the minister was like he said it he was like why would we do that we want Trump and charge his terrible and it's like yeah that's right everything else all the US press and everything everyone's saying is crazy and then that's again this is the reality where the Iranian minister is the one-talking sense it's the upside down yes it is in stranger stranger things universe I guess you know maybe if we had sure a law maybe we would
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's a joke, just a kind of joke, but people listen to the don't know, but it's also not.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: But you know.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: The other thing I want to say about that is, Trump's contempt and disrespect for the military is an absolute disgrace.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yes it is.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's unconscionably awful.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's abominable.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's no justification for it, and it's disgusting.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: And anybody that doesn't think that or see that is also disgusting.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's just, there is no, this is a party that prides itself on this stuff, right?
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: Well, then these guys don't even have soap and yeah, like what are you doing, you know, and for what it's just it's just disgraceful and, you know, no joke, you know, all joking aside, it's it's When I first heard that story about the people jumping over I had to even open it.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I can't be done.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's too awful for me to contemplate because it's like, you know, you don't think about the, I don't think about these things.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: But this is a real thing.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of people on that ship.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_00]: And they're most of them are very young.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_00]: And they're doing this.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: They're in the military because of whatever reason they join, but they certainly didn't join to make Trump wealthier, or to perpetuate a war of stupidity, brought on by his own ignorance.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, the fact that he has to do whatever
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: which is why he started the war in the first place because BB convinced him, which, you know, cut to the Epstein files.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, that's all I have to say.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: I just think, you know, it is important that we call them out when they just, it's not okay.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's not okay to treat the military like that.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: No, okay.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, he said it, he said it in when he was running the first time that they were losers and suckers, or I don't know if it was running.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know when he said it, but he said it and we all know he thinks that.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, and that's how he treats our military and I don't understand.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't understand why his cult just accepts it, but it's a cult.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't understand that kind of mentality.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess that's why.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's so unbelievable.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't, I had her name is Danielle.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's Danielle a young.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: She goes by knitting cult lady on YouTube.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: And she's great.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you've ever heard of her or seen her, but she was raised in a cult.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember the name of the cult, but it was a sex trafficking cult.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: And she eventually went on into the military and she's written books and blah, blah, blah.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: She's a fascinating woman and she was just talking about and she's also super cool and she has like multicolored hair and and like her she's she often doesn't wear bras or show where some kind of shirt that's quite revealing in it.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Then people yell at her for it and she comes like she'll come on with just a scarf covering her boobs and like call them old bitties and it just makes me laugh but anyway that's a side note.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: Um ultimately though you know she was kind of
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: Because she talks about all the different cults that we've got and specifically what will happen with this group of people when Trump dies and ultimately her answer is just they're going to go find other cults.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: They're probably going to stay right wing, but they're going to find other cults and that's I mean I don't even know how to I don't know how.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: to understand a brain that's going to go along with the cult like that.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's so against my nature.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure it's against your nature.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like I just don't I don't fucking get it and there's there's too many there's too many people in this world in this country who just want to fucking join a cult, you know, I don't get it.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get it and I hope I hope that I know I'm just kind of going off and ranting out of no work because it's not about the next thing I'm going to talk about, but it just it just kind of blows my mind how many people are willing to accept this and you talked about Fox, you know, it's just Fox talking points that aren't true.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: And while this is not any kind of a new revelation, you know, I just I was thinking about it and I was thinking, oh my god, you know, if we didn't have
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: this right-wing machine spewing endless lies, constant, constant, constant, you know, if we didn't have that, we wouldn't be so divided.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: And it's as simple as that.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: We'd still be idiots and we'd still fight and we would still have political disagreements.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: But I guess, and so I guess, well, I didn't write this question down or this topic, but I'm gonna bring it up anyway.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: We saw the mainstream media going after Joe Biden because he was sleepy Joe Biden.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's what Trump called him.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: And then they took that cue and they, you know, jack, jack, jack tape or wrote a whole book about it.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: The media is owned by oligarchs.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: It is fascist friendly.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: And even on MSNL with people like Rachel Madal and Lawrence O'Donnell, who I just think are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful journalists.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm glad that they're there because they are speaking truth.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they're limited in what they can say.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like maybe they want to talk about something, but the oligarch boss says no.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just wondering, you know, we're seeing this emergence of independent media with my discharge with MSW media, other, you know, other people specific individuals are kind of ascending, where do you think we're going to go when it comes to media in this country?
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: Because we're never going to go back to that one trusted source.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: We're always going to have like this split thing.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean,
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know what to make of cable news anymore.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: I never watch it ever.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_00]: I've never watched it.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I, you know, when I'm visiting someone's house, maybe they'll have it on MS now, whatever it's called now.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: It, like, I hate it because it's just the same shit.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, over and over and over again.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: And it's 85% of it is just fun to treat.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it, it's operates on both sides.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: None of these shows, right?
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: It shows.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it goes against what the protections of jurolism in the couch and even what the what the broadcast licenses are supposed to I get the cable news is a work around the broadcast license and technically these are entertainment shows, but that's the problem.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_00]: Technically they are entertainment shows and they should be labeled as such.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I like, I've always enjoyed op-eds because I like to read and understand it helps me to get somebody's take on it to see, okay, here's what, you know, on both sides, I like to read from I just, I just read a George Bullseye column this morning about, you know, how marijuana use is rampant and nobody knows what's going to happen and he ain't wrong.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so, you know, I like to read a lot of different voices just to see what they have to say.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: But like, that's not the news.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oppads are not news.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: The country isn't news.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: It just isn't.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, you're almost better off getting your actual news from the, from the comedy shows, which is insane.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know,
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, you know, how much it's hard to, you know, where does Punditree end and then it was began, you know, there's an awful lot of Punditree on, you know, the podcasts for sure.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it all is made.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, but there is, there's also a lot of coverage of news, but it's extensive to cover news.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: it's expensive especially to do investigative reporting and a lot of the everyone's like you can't make money, you know, you know, having a media kind of, we're all online all the fucking time.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: So how can it not make money?
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't make sense.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what's going to happen.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: The 24-7, you know, Ma, the unquenchable firsts that we all have for constant updates and shit is not helpful to anybody, and I get why it has to be that way, but it's just not
- 40:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, you know, some celebrity dots.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: Do I need to know right now?
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: I can wait till the morning, you know?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's sad and everything, but like, unless there's a wild fire and it's going to be in downtown LA in 20 minutes, you better get in your car or, you know, we're at war or it can wait until the next news cycle in six hours.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not, I don't know, I don't know what the solution is
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: you know, the way that that younger people consume media is very different than the way.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: And they have no attention span.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, either do I anymore.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, none of us do.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, these people are starting.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I was watching.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's a millennial.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: A John Zyer, who I like to watch on YouTube.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: And she's just so cute.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I love her so much.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: She lives in Canada.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: And she's, she has no friends and no boyfriend.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: She lives alone.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: But she's not lonely.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so she like documents her life.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: But she specifically said she, you know, she went to go see some movie and she said it kept my interest and that's saying a lot because I'm a gentleman here And I don't have an attention span and so You know, I mean, I think you're right.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's all of us that don't have an attention span anymore because everything is like right now right now right now and if you if I remember when I was doing more blogging and it was like, you know finding out people generally Read the first paragraph and they're out You know, so it's like if you're writing a piece that's a thousand words
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: good luck to you.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because most people are just maybe going to read the first paragraph and then they're going to leave.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: Why about if you write 4,000 word pieces like I do all the time?
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you, but I will say though, there is a, I think you have a very intelligent crowd following you and read your work.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, making the general sense, and I mean that sincerely.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: In the general sense, when I was just doing, you know, the, the, the blogging of news stories throughout the day,
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: kind of thing, you know, where they would get enough information and leave, it was like after the first paragraph and it certainly wasn't in depth stuff like you're doing.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I just want to be clear about that.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, but I think most people don't have an attendance band.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where it's going to go either, but I'm glad to see that there are people out there who care and I don't, you know, I don't, I have no idea.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: None of us have any idea where it's going to go, but you've got these people like my just touch.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: You've got Alice and Gil.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: We've got people like you and all those in that orbit, like Scott McFarland, one over and Katie Fang went over to my just touch.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we're going to see something like that, but I can guarantee we'll never go back to those days where we all sat around the TV and watched one anchor and trusted that anchor.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's over.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's no, I agree.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: And Walter Cronkite is in the Epstein files.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: And then the other thing is, it's really was, the, the, the, the, did you see disclosure day?
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you don't have to see this closure day, but there's a part I'm going to spoil the movie at the end of the movie where she goes on live TV and you know, she's like this second rate sort of newscaster up and coming whatever and then she starts talking about all the stuff that she's seen or whatever the hell it is I can honestly I can't remember.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: And it's one of those things where it's every one stops and pays attention to what she's saying, and it's just like, dude, I can believe that there's aliens, I can believe that you guys have superpowers, I can believe that you can fly and she's seeing weird animals in shit.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_00]: I do not believe that all of humanity is going to stop and watch the same thing on TV.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that's not ever going to happen.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know, some there's always like my son will be like playing a switch with his headphones on oblivious, you know, it's that's that, you know, to your point about yes, we're not all watching the same thing at the same time and there are good aspects of that too, you know, there's good aspects it is possible now to go out and get a lot more view points than it used to me.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there is, you know, most of the stuff that's happening is being reported somewhere if you go where to look for it.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: And if you have to go figure it out, you know, it's just a matter of of wanting to do it.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, the private equity, all these come, you know, the oligarchs gobble up the local papers and then they got them and then they fail because they say they're not making enough money, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but it's like,
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: you know, there has to be a model whereby this makes sense.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: And what it is is I am happy to pay like 50 cents a dollar if I'm going to click on an article for a publication that I don't regularly subscribe to to read.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: If somebody has something good and Forbes and I want to read it, I'll pay them a dollar.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: I want an account.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: And you can, you know, and that's it, I'm, you know, you just take the money out of my account, allocate it how it's going to be allocated.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: I want to read whatever I want.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then just send me the building and that's, that's the model.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: But why can't we figure though, why can't Claude figure this out?
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: Why can't Gemina figure it out?
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: Why can't Claude figure it out?
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: These AIs are supposed to be so smart, completely right.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: Why haven't they figured this out?
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I do as a
- 45:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, you're right.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Nick's won the championship and which was fantastic.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that they had not won in 53 years because they kept talking about it.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_00]: Over, I'm also, because I'm 53, but they kept talking about it.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: Over and over, you couldn't go 60 seconds on the broadcast of the thing.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's the first championship win in 53 years and the next day on Twitter it said, Nick's win first championship in 51 years.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_00]: You can't.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm cracked.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're I heard somebody had said that Gucci that a chatGTP told them Google had this Google how many of us does Google have and it said three.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: So I went to chatGTP and I asked how many and it said three.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like I'm I just yell at it.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: Are you fucking kidding?
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, oh, you're right.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's too.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: You are right.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I've heard is because you are right.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you've seen that meme.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: Are these mushrooms poisonous?
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then that's by the grave site.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, Oh, yes, that is what you like to know more about poisonous mushrooms because it's not a person.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't give a shit that it got it wrong.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't, you know, it might say I'm sorry, but it's not sorry.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's not real.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't have any, it has literally no skin in the game.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: No crazy.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: it's ridiculous, but you know, but and a way that an AI could be used is to do what I just said.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're they're definitely could like if we could regulate and and get under control that data centers, you know, that AI is never going away.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: I know I know there are a lot of people who hate it and I get why they hate it.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to argue with them.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think there could be a lot of danger.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: But this is the wave, you know?
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's like they said TV was going to destroy us.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: This is the online world, it's going to destroy us, which maybe it kind of already has.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just the wave, it's where we're going.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_01]: So they just need to improve it.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: But before we go, I want to bring up Natalie Hart because
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: This, this, first of all, John Ossaf, as you mentioned said, all he said was Donald wants to travel with her and the fucking right lost their mind like Megan Kelly, who basically said it was okay for 50 year old men to rape 15 year old little girls because they offered consent.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: She was going after us off for being sexist and it's like are you kidding me?
- 48:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you said their defense is so bad, but this not only heart woman is insane So I just want to see I just want to hear what you have to say about her you know before I bring anything up because oh my god She's she is the comic relief that I need right now
- 48:24[SPEAKER_00]: I watched a clip of her when she was back on O.A.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_00]: and talking and I'm watching it and I'm like, she looks like all three heathers, she's like all three of them rolled together.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: And that's I think my app, but from what I've read about her, she seems like she has mental health issues and is living out some sort of weird fantasy of the kind that you see in movies and don't think it's real.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that's true.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to, you know, suggest anything, but she kind of appeared out of nowhere.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what's in her bag.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: Is it like a diaper thing?
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: I also kind of don't care.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if this is the thing that's going to make him fall great, you know?
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: But like, I don't think it
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's got this Ivana kind of wannabe look alike and evidently I watched I don't did you see you probably didn't see.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_01]: I watched last night the interview with her brother.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: did you see that?
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: I heard about it.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_01]: He is he is the worst in review we ever ever.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: He was like you'd ask him a question and there would be silence and then he'd give you four words and then you know he just leave you like anything more.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, basically what he said was okay this is not the first time that she's kind of been a sick event for a president.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: and that she's written other presidents and he named George H. W. Bush.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, there's the story that she won, I don't know, she had a big fight with somebody in the motorcade and they wouldn't let her in with him so she got into a trunk so she could be near him, which I don't know if that's true, but oh my fucking God.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's stories,
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: where, you know, she's kind of trailing him on the golf course, just to be close to him.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then all the documented things that she's written to him, I think being liberal has put up a meme that's got everything, uh, some of these things that she said to him that are just so adoring.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: So yes, I think she's mentally challenged.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: and she thinks she's in love with them or whatever it is that she thinks.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: But it was interesting because Sherry Jakobis was yelling everybody to stop saying that they're having an affair because she's like Trump is too old and he can't do that and he would love for everyone to think that he's having an affair.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I know this is gross and I know you probably don't care.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: I have this like mental image of her where I don't think they're having sex.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: But somebody as fucked up as her.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I would not put it past her to do something like a lap dance for him or, you know, getting him all excited that way.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: I could totally see that because he's clearly a enamored of her and he got super angry when she was mentioned.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I think she's just indicative.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then of course, you know, the right likes to use it and say, oh well, Trump's done so much for, look at all these women surrounding him.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God, are you kidding me?
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he, he, he, he, he, a lot of women, a lot of girls that were working at Mara Laga went on to careers with Jeffrey Epstein, because of you know, yeah, yeah, he's done a lot for him.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: And sure, I, I, yeah, I think he's, I lately, he just seems like he's more interested in Jackson Dart and Pete XF and that, you know, ultimately fighter guy.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: So he's basically the, the frontal temporal dementia is taking him back to his roots.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly, it's bright-coating him and the yeah, I don't know where it's going, but he yeah
- 52:16[SPEAKER_00]: It makes my brain hurt.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's like this is a TV show that should have been canceled five seasons ago, and it's still going on.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_00]: Still going.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the original cast is gone.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_00]: They have to, they find, I don't know where they find these actors now, they're bad actors in every sense of the work.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't, I'm just like, I don't know.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're all dumbfounded.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: We can't believe we got here.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just I just hope that this means that the pendulum, you know, Ruth Bader Ginsburg said the pendulum swings both ways.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's been swinging in that right direction now for quite some time and it's, you know, if we're going to take a look at history and how things go.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: She's right pendulum swing.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: So we're ready.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: We're ready.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I hope.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: that with this new surge of progressiveism and young people, I hope that we can make that difference because it looks to me like regardless of how Democrats and Republicans vote, this is more than likely going to be left up to independence and then these new voters.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: And so far what we've been seeing at least from polls, polls,
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: against the Republican Party and against Trump.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I mean, we've got that going for us.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: So, there is that.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think that if people are allowed to vote and it's there and all of that stuff that there will be a blue wave.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, me too.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I think there should be, you know, there will be chicanery, there will be all kinds of bullshit.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that we're going to maybe out like numbers to big to ignore thing, I hope so.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: There's also like, it's just occurred to me.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's a lot of stuff that hasn't dropped yet in the files.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_00]: There's like, there's like a whole Jackson thing about the documents that he stole and all that.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know a lot of things yet.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_00]: And they might, the powers that be just might be waiting until mid-October.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_01]: For those surprises, yeah.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I, you know, I don't know, we'll see.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: But I always will have hope, but I'm also not like,
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: I've been disappointed so many times that I don't want to get my hopes up if that makes sense.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_00]: One can have hope and not get one's hopes up.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_00]: At the end of the day, I'm always going to have faith in humanity, even though there's hundreds of thousands of years of evidence that I shouldn't have.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm going to you anyway because I'm optimistic by nature and I like to help my nature and I want everybody to just, you know, get along and be happy and do their thing and not, you know, like I, do you see that article in the New York Times about the like the rich guy who's going to all the dating services and couldn't find the date?
- 55:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm talking about, you know, you know, I don't know that.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: You know, tens of thousands of dollars to some fancy, like set up, you know, matchmaking companies, and he's gone on all these dates, and the dates haven't gone well, and he's trying to find the love of his life, but it's just not, and it's this whole thing, and it's just like, if I, was that guy, which I wouldn't be, and I was going all these dates, the like,
- 55:39[SPEAKER_00]: I can't imagine something more humiliating than in the New York Times writing about that.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why the fuck would you want anyone to know what you're doing?
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: It, I'm like, what did he want to get interviewed for them?
- 55:52[SPEAKER_01]: I guess, he did.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: Is he think, like, some woman's going to watch it be like, that's my guy.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I had some reason for bringing this up.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's just, you know, people are diluted, I guess, a little bit.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: the world is a gone mad.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_00]: The economy is going to tank any day now.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be fun.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: We're up at 4 trillion, you know.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_00]: Fun.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_00]: That is the.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, but you know, and you kind of alluded to this earlier, things have to get worse before they get better.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: And at the end of the day, if there's a good answer before you stop smoking.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: If this is a movie, if this was a show, how it would end, is after all the bad stuff he's done after the ice killing people and kidnapping and the concentration camps and all the abortion stuff and the ran and all of it, the measles and blah blah on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on
- 57:04[SPEAKER_00]: And the stupidest fucking metric that there is will be what makes people mad.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_01]: Even though we got to take it, you know, whatever works to our advantage, we got to take it.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_00]: We're the gasoline on the fires we're going to do.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so the little quick things I'm going to say before I let you go that are not politics related.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't bring this up last week with Stephanie.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I forgot to, but I just have to say, and I've talked about it on Bob show, I am late to the show glow.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_01]: Have you seen glow?
- 57:38[SPEAKER_00]: No, I've not seen it.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: It is so fucking good.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: It is so fucking good.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: I highly, highly, highly recommended.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the wrestlers or whatever.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's Mark Marin.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then do you know who Betty Gilpin is?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_01]: So she's in it.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: She's fucking amazing.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_01]: They're also good.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_01]: But it is so.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: The only issue is that, like, you know, I guess it finished season three on a click cliffhanger and then COVID happened and then they never went back and re, you know, finished.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the only problem.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_01]: But outside of that, I highly recommend it.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: It is such a good show.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: It is so funny and it's it's it's set in
- 58:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's offensive, but it's mocking being offensive, the show is not offensive.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's mocking being offensive.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so everybody in it is just absolutely fantastic.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: So FYI and then I'm just so excited because the Rolling Stones, you know, put out a new album and they are my favorite bands since I'm 13 and I haven't really loved a lot of their new music.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: But the other day, you know, I was scrolling on Instagram and I saw Mick Jagger dancing in a nightclub.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: And so I clicked on it, and that guy, he's like fucking 83 years old, he's in a nightclub and he's just moving all around.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I listened to him like, hey, that's a stone song, and it was Mr.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: Charm.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you've heard Mr.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_01]: Charm, but it was an instant hit for me.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's rare that I hear a song.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_01]: for the first time and completely fall in love with it.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: But oh my god, this fucking song, Mick Jagger blows my mind.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to, I don't want to know too much about him personally.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm terrified because he's 83 and it's like, just nothing bad come, I mean, I know I wouldn't want to be as friend.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: but nothing bad come out because I love the stones so much and I love that song.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_01]: So those are my two little fun things to add at the end.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you have anything I didn't even ask you to prepare so don't feel pressure.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I just wanted to put that out there to everyone.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_00]: No, I like all the recommendations and I like Mcjagger.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think Mcjagger is cool.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I think his lyrics are very underrated.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: We're a thing like anyway.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's a show called Furious that's on.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's on Hulu and Disney now with any awesome.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_00]: And it's about like the log wine would say it's about a female serial killer.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_00]: But it's that's really some oversimplifying what it is.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's in a post-Epstein world kind of thing.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's really really I mean, it's so good.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: And what's it called?
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's called Furious F-U-R. Yeah, and it's we're only six that there's eight episodes in season one And we're only on episode six and episode six ended and I I gasped and I had like weird chills down my body.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: Wow
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I have to go check it out.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a wonderful show all around.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: There's not always looking for new shows.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, you have to watch it immediately.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: OK, you have to watch glow.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_01]: OK, you have to watch glow.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_01]: And we can report.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to just read this one.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: Since you mentioned his lyrics, Mick Jagger's lyrics, I'm going to do this one little verse.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_01]: When I was also young, I used to want to go to Mars and burn the rubber on the road and drive around in fancy cars and who would take you into space?
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: Who would you really trust?
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Boeing?
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: Is it NASA?
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Mad Muggle, Mr. Musk?
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm older and I would like to ask you if tonight we could stay home.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_01]: You see, I'm really quite polite.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_01]: I would make you cocktails pour you wine.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: You're obviously so eradite.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_01]: Do anagrams?
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: I fucking love that fucking love those lyrics.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, it's so awesome.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_00]: So just like talking to you.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's so awesome talking to you.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_01]: I love your perspective.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: You're so cool.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for saying yes to me again.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_01]: Before I let you go, tell everyone where to find you.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for that.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's always great to come and talk to you as you know, I always have a good time.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I always forget that we're recording it and people just stick with you here.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I'm the best place to find me is just, you know, my sub stack is Greg Olyard.substack.com.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm all the, you know, I have a weird name.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_00]: So you just type in my name and I'll uh, uh, I'll buy will pop.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_00]: So that's where you can find me.

- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure we will talk soon.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
