Powerball Pushes Higher, Wisconsin ticket wins $2M, Mega Millions resets to $60M ... and more for August 4th · The Lottery Rundown: Powerball & Mega Millions Results, Trends and News

Powerball Pushes Higher! This is The Lottery Rundown for Tuesday August 4th Powerball drew Monday night with 8, 30, 41, 48, 54, and Powerball 4, with a 2X multiplier. Nobody took the jackpot, but one lucky ticket holder in Wisconsin scored 2 million dollars, which should take some of the edge off going back to work Tuesday. The number 41 showed up as one of the five least-drawn white balls over the last six years, while Powerball 4 is near the top of its own chart with 46 appearances. Wednesday’s jackpot is an estimated 786 million dollars, with a 342 million dollar cash value. That could buy a private submarine fleet large enough to make your family group chat legally maritime. This Powerball run is now 39 drawings and 93 days, longer than usual and around the 86th percentile of recent jackpot gaps. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Friday, July 31, with 4, 18, 26, 43, 51, and Mega Ball 4. There was no jackpot winner, and the game is still catching its breath after a jackpot hit on Tuesday, July 28. The number 18 remains the loudest guest in the room as the most-drawn white ball over the last six years, while 51 came in from the quiet side as one of the five least-drawn white balls. Tonight’s jackpot is an estimated 60 million dollars, with a 26 million dollar cash value. After Powerball’s 786 million, does 60 million feel modest, or just slightly less ridiculous?
