Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I know that here in the physical world, this is our 3D reality.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: This is everything as we know it.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: If we can see it, if we can smell it, if we can touch it, if we can taste it, it's part of reality.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: But what is so interesting is that we are here but temporarily.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And our natural state is in the spirit world, is being a soul in the spirit world.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Unity Code, where we explore what becomes possible when we stop keeping spirituality on the sidelines and start using our connection to spirit to actually change lives.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: I'm Nicole Pope, a medium teacher and former transformation corporate executive.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: I've spent more than 20 years obsessed with data, patterns, systems, and one question.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: What actually creates change?
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: These days I'm asking that same question about energy, consciousness, the soul, and our connection to spirit.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: And no, we're not keeping this theoretical.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: On the podcast, we're going to teach it, test it, demonstrate it, play with it, and bring real people into the conversation.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: We'll explore mediumship, energetic, intuition, ancestral patterns, human potential, and some things I'm not even sure we have language for yet.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Because the goal is bigger than becoming more spiritual.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: It's about discovering what you're capable of, using it to transform yourself, expand your life, and step into possibilities you couldn't access before.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: This is the Unity Code, where spirit meets experimentation, transformation, and a community curious enough to find out what else is possible.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: I'm so glad you're here.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: And so you might think this episode might be a little bit morbid, but I have come to the conclusion over so many of my readings that this is just such a beautiful, amazing process.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And so I'm hoping today I can clear up any fears you have about dying, any concerns or questions you have about how somebody that you loved may have transitioned and what that process looks like for them.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: And mostly, you know, it's just allowing you to understand and experience what this process looks like for many of the loved ones that have departed up before now, the many that will continue, and obviously your own transition to the spirit world very long from now, I'm sure.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: But let's talk about the process of death and dying and what that transition looks like.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And so if we actually start before passing, I do want to take a moment, like an honorary minute, to talk about those souls that tend to be between worlds before passing.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: And yes, we are talking mostly about people who have dementia, are not cognitively well essentially before passing, whether that is a medical condition or a mental health condition.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: And in my own experience, I've seen and heard so many stories from again, clients, loved ones, people in my 3D reality that have seen people on their deathbed and they know that there are people in the room that are in fact their departed loved ones coming to visit, that are in fact angels coming to watch over them before passing.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: And so there are absolutely instances, and I know there's case studies out the ass about this, about people before dying kind of having one step, one foot in the spirit world and one foot out of the spirit world.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: And how this presents in a lot of readings that I may have is of course, we have to do this podcast episode.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I can't believe I haven't done it yet.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: There is a such thing as living mediumship where we can bring in souls or spirits that are currently living in their 3D reality.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: And that will often happen again with elderly parents.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna generally use that term because it tends to be people's parents and them coming through in a reading, even though they're still alive, to talk about whatever needs to be talked about.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: And this can include so many different things, if I'm honest with you.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: It can include, it's like this is enough material for probably a week's worth of podcast episodes, but they can talk about the circumstances that they're going through.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: They can talk about caretaking needs, they can talk about what's the best path for decision making with these elderly parents.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: They can also talk about how to shift the dynamic because I know caretaking for maybe parents where the relationship was not great most of your life, they can help come in and talk about that process with you and how you can really come at caretaking at a higher level perspective and/or not feel guilty if you just want to put them in a home.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna put that out there too.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: And so we will see a lot of quote unquote living mediumship or folks that are between worlds, even though they are still technically living in this world in the mediumship space, uh, even before they pass, which is wild to me.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: And so, as we move into the process of death and dying, and I have seen this from so many angles, and yet the underlying theme has always remained the same.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna tell you what the underlying theme is, and then obviously trigger warning about all these different methods of passing, certainly not trying to trauma create more trauma in your system, but I just want to highlight some of the examples that I've seen that back this up because I have seen overwhelmingly that before any point of pain, the soul is pulled out of the physical body because there is no necessity to having additional pain in the process of dying.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: And so what it ends up looking like is the soul kind of coming up out above the body and being completely free of any pain, any uh cognitive limitations, any physical limitations.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: It is just like they come up out of the body and they are completely free and light and loving.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: And when I say this, I think most people are kind of expecting me to say the people that are laying on their deathbed, maybe they're in the hospital, maybe they're at home, maybe they're in hospice, usually surrounded by family.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: And yes, that's absolutely true that they kind of come up out of their body and have this pain-three, pain-free transition into the spirit world.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: But I've also seen this with very traumatic passings.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: I've seen this with car accidents, I've seen this with death by unaliving.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: Like I've seen I've seen this continuously over and over and over again from so many different souls.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: And I think this is what really blows my mind is the way that us humans experience a lot of these passings through, again, our very human lens, because we look at the method of passing.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: And there are so many of my clients that carry the grief of how they exited this world and how they are traumatized by the last thing that they experienced while they were a human.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: And it's so interesting because on the other side, that is the least of the things that they have experienced here on planet Earth because they are literally not in their bodies for those final moments, they're literally not having the human experience in the moments where it might have been some of the worst things that ever happened to them.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: And so for this conversation, I want you to really put that into perspective.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: I really want you to think about this.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: And if I were to explain simply what the person who's departing goes through, and I will never, ever, ever forget this.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: This was probably one of the earliest readings that I did.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: But there was a young man who died tragically, and he showed me what it was like moving into the spirit world, and it was as easy as breathing.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Yes, we are like we're quoting Twilight in this episode here because he breathed in, and as he breathed out, he was in the spirit world, and he was floating and he was free, and it's almost like, and this has happened several times in several different readings.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: They look back and they're just like, What just am I did?
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: I just die like that is some of the most natural reactions that I've felt and heard from these departed souls is almost a surprise energy of like, oh my god, that's it, game over, we're done here.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: Which, you know, I'm trying to bring a little bit of humor and lightness into this conversation, this obviously very heavy comment conversation, but that is really what it looks like and feels like for so many souls when they move into the spirit world.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: And so if I bring a few more examples in, or if you like even pets, like even pets, it's the same thing because pets are physically pulled out of their body so that they don't feel the pain of what is happening to them in their last moments, they just kind of like are so excited to be free of the physical form on the other side that they just start like running around and having fun and being like happy again.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And so now that you know what it's like to transition into the spirit world because it is as as easy as breathing, because it happens pain-free, because it happens fast, right?
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, you have a different perspective on some of the more difficult passings that you've had to experience, endure from your loved ones in this lifetime.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: And not only that, once they do actually transition on the other side and they do recognize that they are in fact in the spirit world, there are so many beautiful stories of being met by their loved ones and their soul pets on the other side.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Most people from my experience have been met by their spouse first, if their spouse had had departed before them, or like children, if the children had departed before them.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: And then I typically will see parents as well coming forward, and also angels and archangels, and obviously, you know, I've had a pretty big video that posted on September 11th.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Obviously, I've seen God in a couple of these where God has met the people as they transition into the other side.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And so I know that in the book, I think it's Journey of Souls, he mentions in that book that some people, once they depart, they know what they're doing and they just kind of go straight to the spirit world.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: They don't need anyone to meet them.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: I personally, knock on wood famous last words, have not yet experienced that yet.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: But I will tell you that in every instance where they show me passing, every single person has been met by somebody on the other side.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Some departed loved one or spirit guide or angel on the other side.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: And so they're never alone.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: They're never alone.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: And most recently, I had a reading where this person had departed, and all of their loved ones that passed before them stepped forward, and it was incredible to see and feel what they felt in having that reunion on the other side with everybody that had departed before them.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: So much so, and this is exactly what happened.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: What I'm talking about before, like he forgot he was dead.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Like he knew that obviously all of these people were here and having this reunion, but there they were and they were talking to him.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: So he got so engrossed in like seeing and welcoming and loving and having this reunion with all of his amazing soul friends and family on the other side that he was like, Oh man, wait a second, I gotta go back and say goodbye to my family.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Ding.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: So there's there's like spirit.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: I don't have Ernesto next to me right now, but there's the spirit coming in to give you that little ding.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: And so it was so interesting to kind of have that experience.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: And I think this is something that I mainly want to talk about is how I know that here in the physical world, this is our 3D reality.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: This is everything as we know it.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: If we can see it, if we can smell it, if we can touch it, if we can taste it, it's part of reality.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: But what is so interesting is that we are here but temporarily, and our natural state is in the spirit world, is being a soul in the spirit world.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: And so this is what really wants like to totally shift the perspective of this process in death and dying, because for us, there is a process of grieving and sadness and loss.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: But once we move into the spirit world, you're home again.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: There is eternal life again, there is all of the beautiful people and places and opportunities, and like literally everything that you want to do, everything that you want to learn, everything that you want to see is limitless and it's completely accessible on the other side.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: And so for us to transition into the spirit world, it's going home.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Like it is so going home in every beautiful sense of the word.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: And just to just to like double down on this, what I find, and this was a very strange, sorry about the sniffles.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: I have a couple, I'm trying not to sniffle too much on the on the audio.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: A little under the weather today.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: And what I find with this party essentially that we have on the other side, this like celebration we have on the other side when we depart, is I feel like this happens first.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And this is something that I've seen like personally in a dream of mine, which is so freaking cool, is how when we depart and we're like having fun and we're partying and we're seeing all of our loved ones, and it's this giant reunion, you know, eventually we decide that we are going to go and do our life review.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: And that has been shown several different ways to me.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: So many different ways.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: But for those of you that don't know what the life review is, we essentially view our lives from a 360-degree angle.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: So from essentially the shoes of the other people who we have impacted in this lifetime.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: And so that means that the people, you know, the homeless people that you gave money or food to, like, they're going to show up and show you how you made a positive impact on them.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Maybe the high school bully that you, you know, gave a giant wedgie to and you made his life miserable because now nobody like, you know, thought he was a bully anymore because little old you put up with the shit and put him in his place and nobody else allowed him to bully them anymore.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: That person might come in and be like, you made me really sad that I couldn't beat you up anymore.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna experience a little bit of a dramatic example, but they'll come through and highlight the ways that you impacted them.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Your parents, your siblings, your spouse, your kids, the rando people.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Like if you are someone that is of service, you're gonna see all of the people that you've helped and how you've helped them and what the impact was.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: And so to me, like whenever I see the life review, I don't think it's actually like this.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: I see it as a tunnel.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: And it feels like I am at the aquarium with the sharks, and I'm just in that little tank.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: And it's just like you go through the tunnel and you're seeing and experiencing all of the different ways that you have impacted people positive or net positively or negatively over the course of your lifetime.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: And the purpose of that is not punishment, although I would argue that sounds like hell to me.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Like if someone had to have me define hell, I would say it's either here, planet Earth, or it is this life review process because holy shit, I do not want to see my life review.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: And I've told my team, I'm like, don't put that in my life reviews.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: I'm not, I know I know it wasn't good.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Don't do it, don't show me that all the time.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: And so, so that's the way they show it to me is like going through this tunnel and seeing all of these different things.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: And at the end of it, the whole purpose and intention of this life review process is for you to have a very clear self-assessment on how did you do?
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: And again, this goes to the evolution of the soul, right?
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Because there are things you came here that you were meant to accomplish and you did swimmingly, right?
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: Like you knocked it out of the park.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: There's probably lessons that you learned that you didn't even plan for, which is freaking amazing, right?
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: There's wonderful things that you did for yourself, for your family, for the community, for humanity.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: And those are all going to be highlighted.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: And then as always, we're going to take a look at the opportunities for additional lessons that maybe you weren't able to accomplish this lifetime and how that might roll into the next one.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: And maybe you, you know, highlight that you were a CEO in this lifetime and you were able to help a lot of people with it.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: And maybe next lifetime you want to be somebody that is a nonprofit CEO or like a board of directors on nonprofit, right?
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: So, like you're you're kind of figuring out what lessons did you accomplish that you don't need to come back here for in the future.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: But at the same time, what are the lessons that you would love to learn additional perspective on, whether you were unable to accomplish those in this lifetime while it was planned, and or additional lessons that you want to plan into the next life's lifetime, life cycle.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: I'm saying life cycle here because I've recently had the realization that we don't plan one lifetime at a time.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: We plan several of them at a time.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: So that's why the word life cycle came out here.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: And so this is really what this process looks like.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: And then from there, I'm gonna like let the Michael Newton Journey of Souls books take over because there you can go read that entire book, which is amazing, that talks about that again, that process of shifting into the spirit world.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: What does it look like, kind of coming back to your soul group and defining what do you want to learn in the spirit world, planning the next lifetime, going to that reincarnation cycle, etc.?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: And so for me, I thought this would be a really amazing conversation.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: So we could talk about like what does this process of death and dying look like?
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: Because our humans have a very, very different experience and understanding of what we think it is to pass from our own human experience, from a lot of the pain, from a lot of the grief, from a lot of the sadness that we have in terms of losing these amazing souls from a physical realm experience.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: But the reality is, is that, and this is definitely the part that I struggle with a lot in my client readings, is they're not gone.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: They're always there around you.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: The process of death and dying was sad for them as well.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: They absolutely miss being in the three-day experience with you too, but they are also very happy and free on the other side, right?
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm and after the life review, like they are they are, well, even before the life review, as they transition to the spirit world, any physical mental ailments, if there are special needs individuals, differently abled individuals that have, you know, mental quote-unquote deficits, I'm not sure what the right word is to use here, like physical limitations, etc., those are all free and gone the moment we move into the spirit world because we're moving out of our body and our body held the limitations, not our spirit.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: And so being able to talk about the process of shifting into the spirit world and how free it is, and how it feels like home, and how everything.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Is bought brought back to the purity of the soul.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: You can see how it gets to be a little sticky when the person in front of you is grieving, but the reality is that the soul is perfectly fine and well on the other side.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: And part of the life plan was to live without them in the first place.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: And so all of these experiences that I've laid out, again, are part of my process, my readings, what I have been able to uncover with these amazing clients and these amazing souls on the other side.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: And so my experience might be very different than your experience, but I want you to come at this process of death and dying at a very different perspective.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: That this is not a goodbye.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: This is a little bit more like I'll see you later while you are going and living in paradise.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: And I can't wait to meet up with you again.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: And so if you're a medium and you have an agreeing or differing opinion, I would love to hear about it.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: I would love to have a conversation.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: And if you are somebody who is just experiencing and loves this work, but are you not a medium, like how did this hit?
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: How are you feeling?
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: How are you feeling in your body after this episode?
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: Because the grief, again, of a departed loved one can be absolutely real.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: And mediums can never take away the pain of the grief.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: But hopefully, this conversation can alleviate you of the guilt, of the sadness, of the I'm not sure what they went through when they crossed over.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: Do they know that I'm okay?
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: And I think this is one of the most beautiful things is that when we do transition over, just a reminder there is no time and space.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: So their little soul hineys, can yes, I said heine, can go back to the beautiful words that you whispered in their ear while they were unconscious before passing.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: And they can go back and see everything that you did for them in the moments leading up to, in the moments during their transition, and also all of the things that you did to help their body be laid to rest here in this physical world.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: And so don't think for a second that they are not going to come through with like diamonds and stars and like rainbows and letting you know that like I am absolutely here for you.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: It means so much to me.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Everything that you did to support me and my final moments here on this planet Earth.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: And then hopefully they can show you what the journey has been like for them on the other side a little bit too.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: And you can experience some of their joy.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: They don't like to rub it in though.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: It's literally the message that spirit is coming through with right now.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: They don't like to rub it in that we're still here and they get to be up free and amazing and happy on the other side.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: They don't like to rub it in too much.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: So just be aware of that.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: But you can always ask, what was that process like?
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: What are they up to now?
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: And are they happy that they're on the other side?
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: And hopefully this episode gives you a little bit of a different perspective on the process of death and dying.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: So hit me up.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: As I said, let me know if you have any questions, concerns, thoughts.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: I like different opinions.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: I'm here for all of this.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: And in the meantime, we will continue a spooky season next week.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: And I'm so freaking excited about it.
