- 0:59platform hit that like button little comment here and there let's make it happen
- 1:04and i just want to give you a context of what how can i say to you what what
- 1:09make this beautiful episode this,
- 1:12Little thing going on that we're talking about today, which is Operation Paperclip.
- 1:17I'm just going to throw it out there. What I'll be talking about,
- 1:20Operation Paperclip, and the genesis of this conversation came about.
- 1:25A few people out there have seen, you know, the recent news, what's going on.
- 1:29You know, it seems that Elon Musk, the CEO of X and the CEO of Tesla,
- 1:36you know, might have made some, you know, some gesture here.
- 1:39Hey listen not hear what i think about what
- 1:42he did in terms of my opinion but a lot of people
- 1:45have made comments that hey it looked like he did a you
- 1:48know little nazi salute or whatever the case might be
- 1:51and to give you a little bit context of where
- 1:54we at there and what that has to
- 1:57do with operation paperclip just to give you an idea little
- 2:01context for those are people that need to brush up
- 2:03a little bit in history world war ii from the
- 2:071930s all the way to 1945 nazi germany back then hitler and all those people
- 2:13they decided let me uh let me spread my ideology whatever across europe poland
- 2:20iraille whatever france and it was a wild wild time back then it was wow wow.
- 2:27I mean we could do episode i mean i i think
- 2:30that is the one war where historians
- 2:33are still talking about it because there's so much to pick and that's why i
- 2:37created this podcast i'm sorry that's why i made this podcast but to talk about
- 2:42this episode let's get it but just to give you that context of world war ii
- 2:47and what is world war ii and what came out of world war ii is something very sinister and dark,
- 2:53crazy, which a lot of people, and that's why I said, you know,
- 2:57I got to talk about it because it's hot.
- 2:59It's hot from the oven, you know, fresh, you know, fresh from the oven.
- 3:04Operation Paperclip. And that was something so very interesting that Operation
- 3:09Paperclip was basically a,
- 3:11United States of America, you know, little group going on there.
- 3:15I think this was like before the CIA.
- 3:17They gather a little group and decide, you know what?
- 3:22There's Nazis, right? Nazi Germany, to be more specific, let's kind of like
- 3:28separate the Nazi Germany with the Germany. Nazi Germany, because there was an ideology.
- 3:33My understanding is that when they were invading these countries,
- 3:36they were making these weapons,
- 3:38tanks, that even united state russia
- 3:42they never seen like these we're talking about rockets that
- 3:45could just fly across the world across the
- 3:48universe come back with still some gas i mean it was just crazy while they were
- 3:53building claims it was just building crazy and united state was like you know
- 3:58what we we need to get our hands of this before russia russia was on the other
- 4:03side of also fighting and defending this country from the invasion.
- 4:08So just to give you an idea, so United States, you know, wait,
- 4:11wait, wait, some of these folks out there just kind of celebrating once World War II was over.
- 4:16I, you know, it was the clay over in what is it, September 2nd, 1945.
- 4:21And they said, yo, we need to get some of these people that were creating these
- 4:25rockets. We're these smart people. So that's where Operation Paperclip.
- 4:32Came in 1945. Under the president, Harry Truman, who's a Democrat, right?
- 4:39Now, I'd like to sometimes throw the name of the party because I'm one to say
- 4:44the situation that happened with Elon.
- 4:47You know, it happened on the day that Donald Trump got inaugurated,
- 4:52whatever was going on there.
- 4:54And, you know, people say, oh, look, that's the Republican Party.
- 4:57Look, they party of races.
- 4:59And I like to remind people that in this country, which is mostly run by these
- 5:05two parties, Democrats and Republicans, that they have had a history.
- 5:10And this is where this operation come in. They have had a history of having
- 5:16this love and hate relationship with the Nazis.
- 5:19And in this case with operation paperclip is
- 5:22basically say we want the smartest mathematicians
- 5:26the smartest people that makes the rockets the smartest people that make do
- 5:30you know that do this we want those people they still left let's get them let's
- 5:35get them to this country we're going to build this because in during the cold
- 5:39war which cold war is it it's that thing with Russia and United States,
- 5:44these two mega houses,
- 5:46mega country, talking about two forces who were like,
- 5:51one has the eye looking at you like who's going to do what now that we are the
- 5:56superpowers of this world.
- 5:58And United States basically had the head start by just saying,
- 6:02whoop, okay, my man, whoop.
- 6:04And one of the interesting people that they have picked up and kind of purged,
- 6:10because keep in mind, this happened from the 45s to the 60s.
- 6:13And doing my little research, I couldn't find if there's, because this was a
- 6:18secret program, right? It's like, don't say anything.
- 6:21Don't say anything. Well, we're going to make it obvious that we're going to have these
- 6:24people with German names the the the crowds you
- 6:28know the tom the van browns and all that and they
- 6:31brought a gentleman in by the name of
- 6:34werner von brown you
- 6:39know for those people that like to say right you know men
- 6:42women all that is in between you know b-r-a-u-n right
- 6:46ah yeah if we
- 6:49start to kind of like do a deep search on how
- 6:52much companies out there that had
- 6:55nazi ties you know what's the
- 6:58name of that clothing store that clothing thing oh hugo boss
- 7:02right i'm just saying you know so thomas bernard von brown is basically the
- 7:09reason or one of the main reason he was the designer of the v2 rocket and i'm
- 7:15gonna try to get some links going on out there the v2 rocket is a rocket again And me joking around,
- 7:21I said that rocket could just travel around the world and come back and they
- 7:25still got gas and then go out there and drop somewhere where people sadly will
- 7:29die if there's people in the vicinity.
- 7:32So you got the V2 rocket. So this one of Van Brown, I mean, basically NASA,
- 7:38you already know what NASA is. N-A-S-A.
- 7:42The new neurotics and space of United States transportation, whatever it is.
- 7:47You already know. Nazi is that American thing where we got rockets going to
- 7:53space or whatever the case might be.
- 7:55But, you know, some people argue, hey, listen, you know, the word Nazi sounds like Nazi, right?
- 8:00Hey, hey, I'm just saying. I'm not, it ain't my conspiracy here or it ain't
- 8:07my theory here. I'm just saying.
- 8:08So Wernher von Braun was one of those individuals that came,
- 8:12that was purged during the Operation Paperclip. Like, hey.
- 8:17Mercedes-Benz, the company Benz, making those cars out there for the Nazi tanks. Hello.
- 8:26Getting perched, right?
- 8:29Maybe I could go so on. Hugo Boss, right?
- 8:33I think if you look at some of these clothes, and now I'm going to say in fairness,
- 8:38and I think Volkswagen is another one.
- 8:41Volkswagen is another one. And in fairness, a lot of these groups and people
- 8:48basically just went along with it and tried to survive.
- 8:52No, no, there's some argument that some, even Werner Von Braun,
- 8:56basically kind of like say, hey, I apologize for taking part of it.
- 9:00But, you know, Werner Von Braun, he was part of the Algamene SS,
- 9:05which is one of the top military, the Schussner Staffer military, the SS.
- 9:11For those people not familiar the ss like the
- 9:14elite of the elite where they made some
- 9:18decisions right they like the best way excuse
- 9:21me the best way to kind of explain that
- 9:24you know a lot of these ss and they were part of the ss soldier it's
- 9:27like kind of having like a congress senate where they make these
- 9:30decisions while the president the face of the
- 9:33united state makes other so i'm just giving an example you
- 9:36know what the ss is for those listening if you want to chime i mean let me know
- 9:41but just the fact that uh van brown and some of these other folks that might
- 9:47have kind of felt like an ill will like i'm you know i apologize but the fact is that their.
- 9:55History of being nazis or whatever it is just permeating in this country and
- 10:00that's where the love relationship comes in and again both political parties
- 10:05democrats and the republican they,
- 10:08welcome them with open arms because it's
- 10:11going to help them fight the big bad russia you
- 10:14know what i mean the big bear all the russians and
- 10:18that's one of the things that i remind people and why i'm
- 10:21so cautious of these political parties because
- 10:25we're in united states when it
- 10:28comes to elections they're pointing at the finger at one each
- 10:31other you know if you vote for this one gonna take away your democracy you're
- 10:34yeah the whole nonsense but then we forget that there's other people out there
- 10:39in other countries gonna pay the price and just when you think we're talking
- 10:44about racism and nazis and all that we forget the history.
- 10:49That this country has had. And especially with Operation Paperclip.
- 10:54Now again. Operation. Just to give you an idea. Operation Paperclip.
- 10:59So it lasted from 1945. All the way to the 60s. Because if you look at.
- 11:05The way to explain. Is that many of these. Nazi scientists. Engineers.
- 11:12Whatever the case might be. If you look at 1945. A lot of them were probably.
- 11:16Up there in age. In the 50s, 60s. Another little nice little information here,
- 11:23there's those people that believe that, let's say, Hitler who got, you know,
- 11:29self-deleted, committed suicide, whatever happened there, that he lived,
- 11:33he was able to escape Germany and went somewhere in South America,
- 11:38I think Chile and Argentina.
- 11:39But the reality is And the truthful is That many Nazi people Left to those countries
- 11:46Across the world Mainly again Germany South America Argentina Chile Not to put
- 11:52those people in the map It's just that the truth is That because there were a lot of Nazi kind of,
- 11:58Sympathizers across the world Whether it's Australia But mostly for some reason
- 12:02It was in this region In the south Some might have You know Came in But you know,
- 12:09Because Operation Pimp Clip, you have the legit ones.
- 12:12You know what I mean? That, hey, you know.
- 12:15Because United States, you know, United States is funny when it comes to the
- 12:18immigration thing going on. You know, we already, that's another different topic.
- 12:22You know, United States have a way to welcome certain people from other countries
- 12:27that could bring something to this country, right?
- 12:30And I'm not saying that the others can't. I'm just saying, you know,
- 12:35the way they selected who comes in and who's not, right?
- 12:40I have it a little bit myself, a little bit of tea. I miss tea.
- 12:45So they selected. Who's here? Hey, you over there in that country.
- 12:49Hey, you want to come here? What you know? Oh, you're an expert in rockets.
- 12:55All right. Come over here. You know what I mean? History tends to repeat itself.
- 13:00So sadly, it's, you know, like again, it lasted in the 60s. So I just want to
- 13:06say that that's the official because it was a secret program.
- 13:10People were not able to find kind of where to kind of say, okay, this ended.
- 13:18There's a book out there in regards to the situation.
- 13:22I'm trying to look for it. What's the name of the book?
- 13:26Man, I mean, you know, and I apologize if I'm over here.
- 13:30I'm doing a little while because I put some research right in
- 13:33front of me because there's there's a lot
- 13:36of things i mean you could even go on the youtube and i'll do a one
- 13:39where you could put operation paperclip and learn more
- 13:42of it because the story goes a little bit deeper it's
- 13:45a little bit darker because there's a lot of people in that list
- 13:48of these german nazis right or you know i'm also going to say that there were
- 13:55people and i'm not going to say that everybody my understanding not everybody
- 13:59right were how can i say nazis because you know i always want to of remind people that remember.
- 14:08You don't necessarily attach Germans to Nazis, right?
- 14:13Remember, Nazis are an ideology that just became a thing once they became powerful
- 14:17and became too powerful.
- 14:19And in order to survive, there's people that kind of said, you know,
- 14:22okay, okay, whatever you want me to do.
- 14:24So you had this Van Brown group or whatever the case might be.
- 14:29Some people, Hans Antman, Heinz, Koyle, Robert Lucelle, Ed O.
- 14:37Busseman. i mean i could go on and on there's individuals that
- 14:40actually just were germans and
- 14:44still were pro-germans and were against the nazis another
- 14:47thing too is operation valkyrie and i'm
- 14:50touching off patient valkyrie because there were
- 14:53people or those individuals who were in the nazi part
- 14:57either the nazi party soldiers whatever who
- 15:01let's say were just infiltrating the party to
- 15:04uh assassinated adolf hitler and it
- 15:07was probably i believe it was the last attempt of his
- 15:10assassination by a soldier and at
- 15:13least soldier my understanding so just to give you an idea once again not a
- 15:18lot of times the nazi german you know you can't can't always put them together
- 15:21you know what i mean so if a lot of these individuals they don't like to kind
- 15:26of they probably maybe maybe united states Because United States have to, they tend to do this.
- 15:32They tend to kind of what we call whitewash something.
- 15:35Well, you know, it's dirty, but throughout the years, you just tend to kind
- 15:39of either because you get more information or because you don't want people
- 15:43to attach something sinister.
- 15:45So basically it's saying, well, maybe there were Nazis. Maybe they were just
- 15:51German and some of them were Nazis.
- 15:53You know what I mean? So just to give an idea on that situation.
- 15:57But it's very interesting because, again, we could go on to this dark places.
- 16:00I'm one that I've learned every year. I learned something new in regards to
- 16:05what happened in World War II.
- 16:07World War II still have a large impact. And World War II, it's what propelled
- 16:13the United States to be the superpower, that is, at this moment.
- 16:18There's a i think somebody told
- 16:21me or somebody showed me where when world
- 16:24war ii started and you know the late 30s or
- 16:26whatever the case might be when it comes to military power united state was
- 16:30not even in the top 20 you know in term and how do one determine that um it's
- 16:37basically military personnel you know you basically your arms and all that because
- 16:42even at that time before World War II,
- 16:46United States have come out of these conflicts in the Philippines,
- 16:50part of the Spanish Treaty War.
- 16:52So war was not a really popular thing with Americans until somewhere down the
- 16:58line, Pearl Harvard happened.
- 17:02And what happened in Pearl Harbor, basically, United States was like, you know what?
- 17:06You know, let the Europeans, let those European flag, if we feel we need to enter, we enter.
- 17:11So then Pearl Harbor came in because World War II, people forget or people don't
- 17:17mention or they tend to not mention that, hey, listen, it happened in the Pacific
- 17:20with Japan invading China.
- 17:24So Pearl Harbor was that thing in December 1941 where Pearl Harbor,
- 17:29Hawaii was attacked by Japan and it gave the United States that kind of reason
- 17:35to kind of join World War II and the rest is history.
- 17:38And what came out of that You know There's so much That could take Again There's
- 17:43so much Because not only Are you Purging Because Russia did the same thing So You know.
- 17:51But more of the American side because, you know, sadly, and that's why in this
- 17:56country, if you look, even before that, you might have little bastions of Germans,
- 18:02you know, family that came from that side of thing.
- 18:07There was this show called Chasing Hitler for those who like to be entertained
- 18:12by conspiracies or theories.
- 18:14Let's just put it, conspiracy theories, but theories.
- 18:17You know, where Hitler did not die and he lived a long life.
- 18:20You know, there's a thing going on, Argentina and Chile.
- 18:24They had a camp there where they had these Nazi Germany people that live.
- 18:29And my understanding, there was people even as of 20, 25 years ago.
- 18:34Because remember, World War II ended in 1945.
- 18:38Then you had the Nuremberg trial where you caught these top German people,
- 18:42you know, the Goebbels or whatever it is.
- 18:46And basically, you put them on trial. and they got executed but there were a
- 18:50lot of germany top nazis i should be specific that escaped the country and managed
- 18:57to escape and live a long life in argentina there were those because,
- 19:03the story behind what happened in or the main story that happened that came
- 19:08out of the world war ii what's the holocaust basically there was those in the
- 19:13jewish state that went on a.
- 19:16Years to decades of a mad hunt to look for the people that uh were part of this,
- 19:23holocaust so interesting thing operation paperclip i could go on so on and so
- 19:29far but just once again to give you an idea what operation paperclip is you
- 19:34can feel free to share for those people out there that i was sitting down and
- 19:38saying to that went on the socials and say look
- 19:41look you know you know look at elon look
- 19:44what he's doing whatever it is that he's doing remind people
- 19:48that in this country both
- 19:51the democrat and the republican parties
- 19:54have had a strong relationship with german nazis and weren't a van brown is
- 20:04just an example and what came out of that was nasa nasa i'm saying it right
- 20:09i'm not trying to say something no funny Nasa or something. Nasa.
- 20:13Well, hope you enjoyed this episode. We making it happen.
- 20:17Feel free to share like all that good stuff. Woo!
- 20:21And I appreciate my legendary audience. We making it happen. I'm out of here. Peace.
