  Speaker 1: All of the things that are going on in our nation,

  Speaker 1: and my heart just breaks when I watch the news

  Speaker 1: reports of the violence in.

  Speaker 2: Our communities throughout our nation.

  Speaker 1: My heart breaks who just recently, last week, I was

  Speaker 1: so hurt to see a man discard a newborn baby's

  Speaker 1: body in the trash. I think about parents that long
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: for children, Jesus, the gang violence, the crime plague in
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: our streets. I think about real families hurt by the
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: loss of their loved ones to crime and violence.

  Speaker 2: Who we need the help of the Lord today.

  Speaker 1: Having a father in the name of Jesus for you,

  Speaker 1: with heavy hearts, God, lifting up those who've been affected

  Speaker 1: by senseless violence. God, we ask for your comfort to

  Speaker 1: surround the grieving families, and for your healing hand to
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: be upon those who are hurting, both physically and emotionally.

  Speaker 1: We pray for citizens who, daily God, live in fear
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: to leave their homes because of the crime that affects
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: our neighborhoods. Lord, we pray for an end to the
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: violence that ravages our communities and for peace to reign
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: in the hearts of everyone. God, we pray for mentors

  Speaker 1: and leaders to be example for our youth. God, individuals
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: that will teach them coping skills or tools to deal.

  Speaker 2: With their anger.

  Speaker 1: God, we pray that you touch the hearts of our youth,

  Speaker 1: helping them to understand their value and their words as

  Speaker 1: precious children of God. Let them recognize the power of love,

  Speaker 2: And respect for others.

  Speaker 1: Let your wisdom, Lord God, guide them towards making choices

  Speaker 1: that promote peace and understanding and healing rather than harm.

  Speaker 1: We praise for a change in the hearts of all

  Speaker 1: who choose violence, that they can turn toward You, find

  Speaker 1: redemption and choose life. Protect our communities, got to heal

  Speaker 1: our wounds and bring us together in unity. We trust

  Speaker 1: in your grace and mercy, knowing that with You God,

  Speaker 1: all things are possible. We pray Lord for healing in

  Speaker 1: our land. Let us be light in darkness, love to

  Speaker 1: those who feel rejected and unloved. Help us to be
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: Godly example in our home, in our communities, in our churches.

  Speaker 1: On our childs God, God, we want to honor you

  Speaker 1: with our lives, and we trust you God in Jesus' name.
