Beaverton Football Game Canceled for Player Safety | Flint News
Beaverton High’s varsity football game got canceled this past Friday due to too many injured players — safety first, even if it stings. The team’s athletic department prioritized healing over the season finale, while the junior varsity showdown against Harrison is still on for Thursday at 6 PM. Fans who bought tickets can expect refunds or vouchers soon, and both schools and the community are rallying behind the decision.
