use an example of how Jesus logically explained himself to his audience, to the

And of course they were doing that during jesus ministry, earthly ministry here

on earth. People were like, you know, no, can't be because

this, that and the third and Jesus wo logically explain who he is,

we're gonna be In John chapter number ten, verses thirty four to forty

two. John ten, verses thirty four to forty two, Jesus said he

was God, period a man. I know a lot of people say there's

now one scripture where Jesus said he was God, but he literally said he

was God. That's because they're maybe Americans, or they read the scriptures just

strictly English, and they don't know the original language. They don't know Greek,

Do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world,

you are blaspheming because I said, I am the son of God,

if I am not doing the works of my father. This is Jesus speaking

to the people who were questioning him, and he was responding according to the

law of Moses, which they were so accustomed to they knew about. They

knew. So these were to the Hebrews, to the Scribes, to the

Pharisees, Sadducees, whoever was in that crowd that believed the law of Moses

a man which is the word of God. And Jesus is dealing with the

old Covenant right now he's still with the people and he's discussing the law and

the Old Covenant. Just a little backdrop. So because I I am the

son of God, if I am not doing the works of my Father,

then do not believe me. Right, very simple, that's logic. If

God is not working through the Lord, amen, don't believe them. But

if I do them, And boy was he doing the works of God.

He was doing the will of God. But if I do them, even

though you do not believe me, believe the works. Other versions say,

believe the miracles, believe the works that you may know and understand that the

uses this logic even goes to their point of discussion and being like, listen,

Again, they sought to arrest him, but he escaped from their hands.

Noticed that he logically explained, he answered the question, and now they want

John did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true,

But everything that he said so John, what he spoke, he prophesied

believe me. Amen? Right. Why would anyone believe someone that says they're

going to do something and then never do it. But when Jesus said he's

going to do something, he actually did it. As a matter of fact,

many times when he was approached by his opposers or the haters, he

would say, listen, this is what I'm gonna do. And in this

time, it's gonna take this amount of time to achieve what I'm gonna do.

And they will say, how is that possible. You're not even fifty

years old. How do you know that? And how could you do that?

And you know, that's how Jesus was being approached. People didn't believe

so, and a lot of people when they don't believe in something or they

don't understand something, they walk around fearful, and to disguise their fear,

they say they're not there's no way. They doubt so much, and it

makes it look really impressive that because they're doubting, then it must not be

true. It is that whatever you don't understand, whatever I don't understand.

Sometimes we fear those things. Amen. But when you fear God, where

when you reverence God? Amen? And that's the beginning of wisdom. Fear

the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. So the logic of the Lord,

he speaks truth all the time, never lied, not once, never say

But yet in those temptations temptations, he never sentned. Amen. He was

mocked, he was beaten, he was bruised, he was chastised. He

was all that, but he was also the Son, the Son of God,

and he had a perfect relationship with the Father because he said, I

So you can't get any closer relationship than that, a man, we are

in communion as Christians, as Christ followers, as believers in God through Christ.

We are in union with Christ. And I know the whole thing about

spend more time with God. A man, it sounds cool, it sounds

like, you know, you're having to sit down with the Lord right beside

you. But we have to remember a holy Spirit God, which is the

and for all. I still hear people saying, oh, God must be

punishing me. The scripture says, no, he took the punishment of this

world once for all, a man for all time, all humanity, all

eternity. He's not going to punish us. The punishment is going to be

for those who are outside of the kingdom, who are blaspheming Holy Spirit God,

who are detached from the body, who are mocking him. Who are

you know, doing all that stuff? Punishments coming. Actually, the day

of the Lord is coming for those people. Amen. And that's gonna be

an awful day for those people. It's gonna be an awesome day for the

for those who walk them. They're not even walking, really, they're actually

So we have the scriptures, we have the logic of the Lord.

A man when he expresses himself in that way, when he goes about doing
