- 0:29Speaker 1: Congratulations, Congratulations, congratulations. Winning is fun, right, Winning is fun.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Winning is fun. My hat's off to everybody in this room.
- 0:38Speaker 1: We've battled and you were battle tested. Okay, you're battle
- 0:41Speaker 1: testing you guys. Continue to stick together. Great things is
- 0:44Speaker 1: gonna happen this football team moving forward.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Okay, you just got to continue to believe, continue to
- 0:48Speaker 2: believe in one another.
- 0:48Speaker 3: All right, great job.
- 0:49Speaker 4: We gotta finish with one down. Okay, ready, one, two, three.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Welcome to Jags Am. Winning is really fun.
- 0:59Speaker 6: That's why we're gonna celebrate victory Monday all week long.
- 1:02Speaker 6: Hair on JAG's Am, because Jags finally break their four
- 1:05Speaker 6: game losing street. They gonna win over the Panthers, and
- 1:08Speaker 6: they do it in the best way possible by playing
- 1:10Speaker 6: clean football and not making mistakes. Our first big thing today,
- 1:14Speaker 6: it's gonna be it was always the Titans, So we
- 1:16Speaker 6: had this game circled on the calendar. It came down
- 1:18Speaker 6: to the Titans game, the final game of the regular
- 1:20Speaker 6: season last year.
- 1:21Speaker 5: It's gonna be the same situation this year.
- 1:23Speaker 6: And Josh Allen told us why it's always a little
- 1:26Speaker 6: bit special when it's best arrival.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Again.
- 1:29Speaker 7: You know that goes down to the ribery game. You
- 1:32Speaker 7: just say they're not playing for anything, and they they're
- 1:35Speaker 7: playing for a lot, playing for pride, they playing for themselves,
- 1:37Speaker 7: they playing for check, they're playing for everything. So for us,
- 1:41Speaker 7: why do you know how robbery games go. You know,
- 1:44Speaker 7: you can be the best team, you can be the
- 1:45Speaker 7: worst team. But ribery games, the MG's gonna be high.
- 1:48Speaker 7: And so we have to we have to come prepared
- 1:50Speaker 7: to play. No lacks of Baisic cool movement, No, no
- 1:54Speaker 7: going through the motions. We have to start Monday, No,
- 1:58Speaker 7: when we're going to play first and foremost, and get
- 2:01Speaker 7: ready to prepare every single day.
- 2:03Speaker 6: And we can do that.
- 2:04Speaker 7: You know, I can see the same outcome as this.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Brian.
- 2:09Speaker 6: The Titans aren't playing for anything on paper, but sometimes
- 2:11Speaker 6: playing for pride is the most important thing. So I
- 2:14Speaker 6: can't imagine this is going to be an easy matchup.
- 2:16Speaker 4: No it won't.
- 2:16Speaker 8: And we just need to go back and look at
- 2:18Speaker 8: last January when they rolled down here and they had
- 2:22Speaker 8: Josh Dobbs. They didn't have Andrea, DeAndre Hopkins, Derrick Henry,
- 2:28Speaker 8: and Ryan Tannehill all on the field, right, I mean
- 2:32Speaker 8: it was pretty much Derick Henry and Josh Dobbs and
- 2:35Speaker 8: they darn near beat the Jaguars and knocked him off.
- 2:37Speaker 4: This isn't as good a team, but.
- 2:39Speaker 8: Mike Grabel's a really good coach and he'll have them
- 2:41Speaker 8: ready to go, locked and loaded to play. And John,
- 2:44Speaker 8: you know, look, this is probably Derick Henry's final game
- 2:47Speaker 8: as a Tennessee Titan, which means that the video board
- 2:50Speaker 8: is going to be loaded with highlights of what he's
- 2:53Speaker 8: done to torture the Jaguars through the years. Probably that
- 2:56Speaker 8: long ninety nine yard touchdown run will be over and
- 2:59Speaker 8: over and over. And there's some marks he can hit,
- 3:01Speaker 8: like set a franchise record with forty one career one
- 3:05Speaker 8: hundred yard days against the Jaguars.
- 3:07Speaker 4: He could get that done.
- 3:08Speaker 8: So my guess is you're going to get the best
- 3:10Speaker 8: they've got, and Henry is still pretty good.
- 3:11Speaker 9: Yeah, I feel like all forty one of coming against
- 3:13Speaker 9: the Jaguars. Look, it's not the same team that came
- 3:19Speaker 9: in here last year. They're not as good. They're more
- 3:23Speaker 9: similar to the Carolina team last week in the sense
- 3:26Speaker 9: that they are struggling right now towards the end of
- 3:29Speaker 9: the season. Tell the people up there they think the
- 3:33Speaker 9: motivation for the Titans is not as much being the
- 3:34Speaker 9: Jaguars as it is just winning a game. There's not
- 3:37Speaker 9: a whole lot of rivalry feel for people I've talked
- 3:40Speaker 9: to that being said, you need to do this ani
- 3:43Speaker 9: it against Carolina, which is get up early, get a
- 3:47Speaker 9: touchdown lead, and make them not believe. I think if
- 3:50Speaker 9: you do that, I think you can get this game
- 3:53Speaker 9: without a whole lot of drama. That's easier said than
- 3:56Speaker 9: done on the road against the Mike Rabel coach team.
- 3:58Speaker 8: Yeah, let me highlight that real quick, because you talk
- 4:00Speaker 8: about getting a lead, John, If the Jaguars get a lead,
- 4:02Speaker 8: then they won't be able to give the ball to Henry,
- 4:05Speaker 8: and the numbers on that a very start. When he
- 4:07Speaker 8: carries the ball seventeen times or fewer this year, Kay,
- 4:09Speaker 8: he only averages thirty seven yards per game, but when
- 4:12Speaker 8: it's eighteen or more, it's one hundred and fourteen. So
- 4:15Speaker 8: their best hope of beating the Jaguars is Derick Henry
- 4:18Speaker 8: getting something done on the ground. If you build that
- 4:21Speaker 8: early lead that John talked about, you take that away.
- 4:23Speaker 9: Also, Okay, the Jaguars haven't won this year, you Trannel
- 4:26Speaker 9: at halftime, So get a lead.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Lead, always helps and it helps out the defense as well.
- 4:30Speaker 6: That's our second big thing, which is defense helping.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Out the offense.
- 4:33Speaker 6: The offense was very good last week and not turning
- 4:36Speaker 6: the ball over and playing smart football. Could have done
- 4:38Speaker 6: a little bit better in the red zone, but we're
- 4:40Speaker 6: working on that. The defense, though, also played well and
- 4:42Speaker 6: helped out the offense.
- 4:45Speaker 10: When a defense is playing like that, it takes so
- 4:47Speaker 10: much pressure off the offense and off a quarterback to
- 4:50Speaker 10: feel like you have to press and do this and
- 4:52Speaker 10: do that. So, you know, we you know, obviously we'd
- 4:54Speaker 10: like to be better on the red zone, but one
- 4:56Speaker 10: of your defense is playing like that, it's not the
- 4:58Speaker 10: worst thaing to skicking field goals, taking care of the football.
- 5:01Speaker 10: We kind of knew all week we wanted to protect
- 5:03Speaker 10: the ball and just you know, move the ball and
- 5:05Speaker 10: put up points, and that's what we did. The defense
- 5:07Speaker 10: played played great, So hats off to those guys, and
- 5:11Speaker 10: hats off to Josh for you know, getting this three
- 5:13Speaker 10: sacks a day and getting that record. That's a big
- 5:16Speaker 10: deal and that's that's awesome.
- 5:18Speaker 6: John, when you lost so many games and are trying
- 5:20Speaker 6: to get your momentum back. I think even if it's
- 5:22Speaker 6: field goals, getting points on the board, and then playing
- 5:24Speaker 6: solid defense. That's the complimentary football that they haven't been
- 5:27Speaker 6: doing the past month, and that was what was able
- 5:29Speaker 6: to get them an early lead and then a little
- 5:31Speaker 6: bit of confidence.
- 5:32Speaker 9: Yeah, I thought it was key. You know, Brandon McManus
- 5:34Speaker 9: had struggled coming into the game. They were longer field
- 5:37Speaker 9: goals that he missed in that four game stretch. I
- 5:39Speaker 9: think he missed four out of five, and I think
- 5:41Speaker 9: three of them were from fifty plus and wins, So
- 5:44Speaker 9: it's not like he's a horrible kicker.
- 5:46Speaker 3: They just hadn't been going through.
- 5:47Speaker 9: They were getting closer the other day, but yeah, getting
- 5:50Speaker 9: that scoreboard advantage. Doug Peterson does a nice job within
- 5:54Speaker 9: close games of playing to the score, of getting up
- 5:58Speaker 9: by a touchdown, of getting up by a couple of touchdowns,
- 6:00Speaker 9: and then being able to sort of dictate play after that.
- 6:03Speaker 9: He's a really good scoreboard game coach. When field goals
- 6:08Speaker 9: aren't going through, Brian, it's tougher to play that strategy
- 6:12Speaker 9: type game because all of a sudden, the things you've
- 6:15Speaker 9: done to get there haven't gotten any advantage and you're
- 6:17Speaker 9: back to square one. So in my ten things the
- 6:21Speaker 9: Jaguars need to do to win on Sunday. Making makeable
- 6:24Speaker 9: kicks is what I'm you.
- 6:25Speaker 8: Know, Press Taylor talked about last week before the game
- 6:28Speaker 8: against the Panthers about how they had a game plan
- 6:31Speaker 8: ready to go and then the circumstances of the game
- 6:34Speaker 8: got away from them.
- 6:35Speaker 4: And that's what you're talking about.
- 6:36Speaker 8: Their field goals and how you tend to play get
- 6:39Speaker 8: away from you. Just one more point on the Jaguars
- 6:41Speaker 8: building a lead, and that is is it unleashed the
- 6:43Speaker 8: pass rush. Last week you saw six sacks, which totally
- 6:47Speaker 8: took away any sort of rhythm from the young quarterback
- 6:51Speaker 8: for Carolina. And you happen to be going against a
- 6:53Speaker 8: Titans offensive line that allowed six sacks last week. So
- 6:57Speaker 8: making the kicks, getting the first down, putting points on
- 7:00Speaker 8: the board allows you to really play to the strength
- 7:04Speaker 8: of your defensive line and last week without standing. So
- 7:07Speaker 8: all those little things add up. In the field goal
- 7:10Speaker 8: part of it certainly is.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Part of it.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Our final big thing is staying dialed in because of
- 7:15Speaker 6: that losing streak for the Jaguars, it's been pretty much
- 7:18Speaker 6: must win since last week.
- 7:19Speaker 5: It'll be must win.
- 7:20Speaker 6: This week, and then of course the playoffs if they
- 7:22Speaker 6: get there.
- 7:23Speaker 5: So staying dialed in is going to be key going forward.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Coming down to week eighteen. I mean, that's just I
- 7:29Speaker 2: think our guys really thrive on these situations. And that's okay,
- 7:34Speaker 2: you know, it's it's it's a great opportunity for our
- 7:39Speaker 2: for our organization, for our franchise, for players, for our owner,
- 7:42Speaker 2: you know, to be in this situation, and you know,
- 7:45Speaker 2: we got to go. We gotta go play another good
- 7:47Speaker 2: football team on the road, and well, we'll enjoy this
- 7:50Speaker 2: one obviously, and prepare, you know, prepare this this week
- 7:54Speaker 2: whenever we play.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Brian.
- 7:56Speaker 6: I'm sure many of us would have appreciated if they
- 7:58Speaker 6: locked up a playoff spot a little bit earlier in
- 8:00Speaker 6: the year. But they really do play their best football
- 8:02Speaker 6: when their backs against a wall.
- 8:03Speaker 8: Well, I hope so, because they haven't played their best
- 8:05Speaker 8: football this year in big games. Kai I circled five
- 8:08Speaker 8: dates when the schedule came out in the spring, Kansas City, Buffalo,
- 8:12Speaker 8: San Francisco, Cincinnati, and the Ravens, and they only won
- 8:16Speaker 8: one of those games, right, And we heard after the
- 8:19Speaker 8: Chiefs loss that it was the worst week of practice
- 8:22Speaker 8: that they had all season long.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Well, flip it now. We heard that last week was.
- 8:25Speaker 8: The best week of practice, so hopefully they're in that mindset.
- 8:29Speaker 8: It doesn't get any bigger than this win and you're
- 8:31Speaker 8: in lose and you probably go home because of the
- 8:34Speaker 8: way that the scenarios play out. And I know we're
- 8:36Speaker 8: going to talk about that later, but if this team
- 8:38Speaker 8: has been lacking anything this year, it's been that situational
- 8:41Speaker 8: awareness of a big game and when you've got to
- 8:44Speaker 8: play your best and you can't have any excuses injuries
- 8:47Speaker 8: or otherwise.
- 8:48Speaker 9: Yeah, I think it remains to be seen if they
- 8:51Speaker 9: play their best with their bast games to all this year,
- 8:52Speaker 9: because to me, Sunday is the biggest example of that.
- 8:57Speaker 9: Beating Carolina was very impressive at home. You got to
- 9:00Speaker 9: go on the road in a place where until last
- 9:03Speaker 9: year he hadn't played very well.
- 9:04Speaker 3: The whole thing.
- 9:06Speaker 9: Yeah, look, if you're not ready, if you're not dialed
- 9:10Speaker 9: in for this one, go do something else.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Just go do something else.
- 9:15Speaker 6: John said it say with us here on JACKXAM, do
- 9:17Speaker 6: not go do something else. I'm gonna talk about the
- 9:19Speaker 6: playoff scenarios coming up here on DIXAM presented by Jet Homewooks,
- 9:27Speaker 6: Jack exam is brought to you by Field's Auto hoop
- 9:29Speaker 6: Jackson Bill. You can step up to luxury at Fieldsauto
- 9:32Speaker 6: dot com. We also want to take a moment to
- 9:35Speaker 6: thank jea's frontline teams for their critical services they provide
- 9:38Speaker 6: to this community. Today, we'd like to recognize JEA employees
- 9:41Speaker 6: who volunteered over five hundred hours at the Salvation Army
- 9:44Speaker 6: Toy Show.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Thank you for.
- 9:45Speaker 6: Helping make the holiday season a little bit righter for
- 9:47Speaker 6: our community.
- 9:49Speaker 11: There was seven to one we counts on the field,
- 9:51Speaker 11: and I feel like he just bringing that veteran president.
- 9:54Speaker 11: He just been here, he'd been through everything with the Jaguars,
- 9:58Speaker 11: and he understand what it was like when they were
- 10:00Speaker 11: winning no games and now he knows what it is to.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Feel like success.
- 10:03Speaker 11: And he just has the aura about him and I
- 10:05Speaker 11: feel like it just kind of feeds off into the
- 10:07Speaker 11: other guys. And that's just he just means so much
- 10:10Speaker 11: to the officer line, to the team, to all of us.
- 10:13Speaker 11: And I feel like when he's out, it's just kind
- 10:14Speaker 11: of definitely notice.
- 10:15Speaker 3: It's good to happen that It's just it's just, uh,
- 10:18Speaker 3: he's just.
- 10:19Speaker 4: A difference maker for us. He's an energy as energy
- 10:22Speaker 4: as pantagious in that room.
- 10:24Speaker 12: Man, we ran the ball really well today, so having
- 10:27Speaker 12: him back was.
- 10:28Speaker 4: A plus for us.
- 10:28Speaker 12: So I know he's probably just starting to get back
- 10:31Speaker 12: in his groove too. So you know, he came out
- 10:34Speaker 12: healthy today and.
- 10:34Speaker 4: You know we're gonna keep moving forward with him for sure.
- 10:36Speaker 4: He just pulled my helmet off, so I'll pulled hisself.
- 10:40Speaker 4: That's yeah, good, that's the last one I normally do.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Cam being Cam, he always gets the last laugh.
- 10:49Speaker 6: I know he doesn't love that narrative of that, the
- 10:51Speaker 6: team being seven and one when he plays, but everybody
- 10:53Speaker 6: else does and they all love him when he's out there,
- 10:55Speaker 6: and they play a little bit different too, and uh
- 10:57Speaker 6: nice to see a little bit a little bit of
- 10:59Speaker 6: Cam's energy at the end of the game too, when
- 11:00Speaker 6: things are in hand as well.
- 11:02Speaker 9: Yeah, it's not that they win seven and one because
- 11:06Speaker 9: Cam Robinson's I mean, but they are a different team.
- 11:11Speaker 9: They run better, and frankly, he's the alpha on the offense.
- 11:16Speaker 4: You know.
- 11:16Speaker 8: We had this conversation with Nate Hackett back in twenty
- 11:19Speaker 8: seventeen where he identified Cam Robinson, who was a rookie,
- 11:23Speaker 8: as being one of the two or three guys on
- 11:25Speaker 8: the offense that they could count on to bring it,
- 11:27Speaker 8: you know, top competitor at all times.
- 11:29Speaker 3: And that was a good running team that year. Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 3: so he does matter in the run yet.
- 11:32Speaker 8: Yeah, And you know when you talk about those guys,
- 11:35Speaker 8: and it's hard unless you're in that locker room and
- 11:38Speaker 8: you get to know them a little bit personally. You know,
- 11:40Speaker 8: the guys to whom football matters, right, and so some
- 11:43Speaker 8: guys it's good, it's important, but it's not like everything,
- 11:47Speaker 8: and not every guy in every locker room is ever
- 11:50Speaker 8: going to be that way. But Cam is one of
- 11:51Speaker 8: the guys in that locker room. Man, it really freaking
- 11:54Speaker 8: matters to him. And I've changed my tune, you know.
- 11:57Speaker 8: I kind of thought he was gonna be one of
- 11:58Speaker 8: those guys that was gonna be a cap casualty next year.
- 12:01Speaker 8: Is they went to sign a bunch of those other
- 12:03Speaker 8: young players. Those young players haven't come through this year,
- 12:06Speaker 8: and Cam certainly has. I don't think there's any way
- 12:08Speaker 8: that you can let Cam Robinson go.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Do you want to go into big games without him?
- 12:12Speaker 6: Hell no?
- 12:13Speaker 3: So that's yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 6: I don't want to see that locker room without him either,
- 12:15Speaker 6: because when we talk about hating to lose more than
- 12:18Speaker 6: you like to win.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Cam is one of those people to me, and I.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Love the standoff on the field. I loved it.
- 12:24Speaker 8: That was their best player, Derrick Brown and the Jaguars'
- 12:27Speaker 8: best offensive lineman and one of their best players, and
- 12:30Speaker 8: he just wouldn't let go. And the way he tossed
- 12:32Speaker 8: a home and casually, I just I loved it. I mean,
- 12:34Speaker 8: it's not the best in sportsmanship, and at least he
- 12:36Speaker 8: didn't it didn't hit somebody because maybe they would have
- 12:38Speaker 8: given him more than they're gonna give him.
- 12:40Speaker 4: But I loved it.
- 12:40Speaker 8: Because it's set the tone ky that I think has
- 12:43Speaker 8: been lacking from this team. That was a big game
- 12:46Speaker 8: in the sense that they had to win it, and
- 12:49Speaker 8: I thought.
- 12:50Speaker 4: That that was the best sign that I've seen from
- 12:51Speaker 4: this team in more than a month.
- 12:53Speaker 5: I know had coach Doug Peterson liked it.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Beca in the media session the other day, someone asking
- 12:56Speaker 6: about him, he was just ear to ear green talking
- 12:58Speaker 6: about it a.
- 13:00Speaker 5: Little bit about playoffs.
- 13:01Speaker 6: So obviously, the easiest route for this team is going
- 13:03Speaker 6: to be win and in they can lose, and then
- 13:06Speaker 6: there's a little backdoor situation of they can back into
- 13:10Speaker 6: the playoffs with some other things going their way, but
- 13:14Speaker 6: then you're a lower seed.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Obviously nobody wants that.
- 13:16Speaker 6: And then the way this team's been playing, if they
- 13:18Speaker 6: lose and then get in, I don't know what the
- 13:20Speaker 6: success rate is really going to be there, because you're
- 13:22Speaker 6: also probably gonna be taking on Baltimore or Miami.
- 13:24Speaker 8: Well, so you know, right out of the gate, you
- 13:26Speaker 8: will know, I should say on Saturday night, because in
- 13:30Speaker 8: order for the Jaguars to lose on Sunday and still
- 13:33Speaker 8: make the playoffs, they need the Ravens to beat the
- 13:36Speaker 8: Steelers on Saturday. And they've already said in Baltimore that
- 13:40Speaker 8: Lamar Jackson's not gonna play, which means there will be
- 13:43Speaker 8: a number of guys who are probably beat up and
- 13:45Speaker 8: banged up on both sides of the ball that won't
- 13:47Speaker 8: play either, and the Steelers are gonna come hard charging
- 13:49Speaker 8: it's a rivalry game anyway. I don't see the Ravens
- 13:52Speaker 8: beating the Steelers on Saturday night, which will just further
- 13:56Speaker 8: hopefully John, you know, get the team focused on what
- 13:59Speaker 8: they've bet.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Do one Sunday.
- 14:01Speaker 9: Yeah, look, this is winner in and realistically it takes
- 14:05Speaker 9: a miracle to get in if you don't.
- 14:07Speaker 3: So if they don't win, they don't deserve to be in.
- 14:09Speaker 9: So there's also a scenario in there if the Steelers lose,
- 14:17Speaker 9: which could happen.
- 14:17Speaker 3: They're inconsistent.
- 14:18Speaker 9: It's not a guarantee that a resting Baltimore team couldn't
- 14:22Speaker 9: win that game. Then you need Denver to either lose
- 14:26Speaker 9: or tie. And clear that up, that's because Denver can't
- 14:31Speaker 9: make the playoffs, but they can get into a potential
- 14:34Speaker 9: tie with Jacksonville and.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Pittsburgh. And once you get into a three.
- 14:40Speaker 9: Way tie, then all of a sudden, the head to
- 14:43Speaker 9: head that the Jaguars have over Pittsburgh it's thrown out
- 14:47Speaker 9: and it comes down to that three way deal. So
- 14:50Speaker 9: it's complex, trust me that that's what it is, even
- 14:53Speaker 9: if they explain it right. But the long and short
- 14:58Speaker 9: is they're depending on Pittsburgh to lose, I mean, and
- 15:07Speaker 9: that realistically is not something you can depend on going
- 15:09Speaker 9: into this game. So well is the old playoff game? Yeah,
- 15:12Speaker 9: and that isn't the only one.
- 15:13Speaker 8: You also need the Raiders to beat the Broncos, and
- 15:15Speaker 8: you'd say, well, the Raiders that Antonio Pierce has had
- 15:17Speaker 8: on the field at various times will clearly be.
- 15:19Speaker 3: They've also been up and down.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Yeah, up and down.
- 15:21Speaker 8: So you need two things to happen. Right, If it
- 15:24Speaker 8: was just one your percentages higher, but two your percentage drops. Look,
- 15:28Speaker 8: they're a better team than the Titans. They should be
- 15:30Speaker 8: at the Titans. Go do it and eliminate all of
- 15:34Speaker 8: the consternation about it. And the good news is is
- 15:37Speaker 8: that at least on Saturday night they'll know one way
- 15:39Speaker 8: or the other if there's an opportunity for.
- 15:41Speaker 9: And the same matchup that enabled the Jaguars to completely
- 15:46Speaker 9: control the Titans here is still there for the table.
- 15:49Speaker 9: It's offensive line of the Titans, which is not the
- 15:52Speaker 9: offensive line that it's been the last you know, before
- 15:55Speaker 9: last year against What I still feel is the Jaguars.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Strength, which their defensive front.
- 16:02Speaker 9: They ought to be able to get sacks, they ought
- 16:04Speaker 9: to be able to make those days of mistakes. To me, again,
- 16:07Speaker 9: the key goes back to don't have weirdness early that
- 16:11Speaker 9: gives them a lead that surprises them and energizing. And
- 16:15Speaker 9: if you don't do that, if you play the way
- 16:17Speaker 9: you did out here on Sunday, which is three nothing
- 16:19Speaker 9: maybe three three tens, get up. If you get up
- 16:24Speaker 9: on this team, I think they would be ready to leave.
- 16:27Speaker 8: Remember that they were up twenty seven nothing on them
- 16:29Speaker 8: at the end of the third quarter. It wasn't till
- 16:30Speaker 8: a fourth quarter that they made it a closer game.
- 16:33Speaker 8: And so the reality of it is is that they
- 16:34Speaker 8: did the same thing to the Panthers that they did
- 16:36Speaker 8: for three quarters against the Titans. They should be able
- 16:39Speaker 8: to match up and win and eliminate any of the
- 16:43Speaker 8: worry about the playoffs.
- 16:44Speaker 6: The only reason that Titans kind of looked like they
- 16:46Speaker 6: were worth anything was Levis kind of threw a couple
- 16:48Speaker 6: of big, deep balls and he left the last game
- 16:50Speaker 6: with an injury. So we don't know if we'll see Tannehill,
- 16:53Speaker 6: we'll see Levis.
- 16:53Speaker 9: So he's surprising if Levis plays, considering out of the two,
- 16:58Speaker 9: he's the future guy.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I don't know that they would. Again, I have no
- 17:02Speaker 3: insight on this.
- 17:03Speaker 9: I don't know they if you put him out there
- 17:05Speaker 9: in an injury risk situation and risk him having to
- 17:08Speaker 9: rehab in the offseason, I doubt they do that well.
- 17:10Speaker 8: The one thing though, that leans in the direction of
- 17:12Speaker 8: levis Is is that the head coach, Mike Brabil said
- 17:15Speaker 8: last week before he got injured that every rep the
- 17:18Speaker 8: rest of the way was so valuable to him, and
- 17:21Speaker 8: then said yesterday in his news conference that he anticipated
- 17:25Speaker 8: that he was feeling better and had a chance to
- 17:27Speaker 8: practice this week. So I get the sense listening to
- 17:30Speaker 8: Mike Brabel's news conference he very much wants him to play.
- 17:33Speaker 8: We should point out this is probably, No, it is
- 17:36Speaker 8: not probably. It is Ryan Tannehill's final game. He jumped
- 17:39Speaker 8: up there in twenty nineteen and led them to the
- 17:41Speaker 8: playoffs and gave them, you know, with Derrek Henry behind him,
- 17:45Speaker 8: gave them, you know, a great run, a.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Couple of division titles.
- 17:48Speaker 8: So you know, the intangible that you do fight against
- 17:52Speaker 8: is his final game, Derek Henry's final game. And Brabel
- 17:55Speaker 8: going at it with a reporter yesterday in his news
- 17:57Speaker 8: conference talking about how much right he used a specific
- 18:01Speaker 8: adjective that I will not how much it sucked to lose.
- 18:06Speaker 5: That man hates losing.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Yeah. I like him a lot.
- 18:09Speaker 8: I think he's a really good coach, and I hope
- 18:11Speaker 8: he goes to New England, and don't I.
- 18:12Speaker 6: Wish he would coach somewhere else? Yeah, exactly, all right,
- 18:15Speaker 6: stay with us here on Jagson. We're going to come
- 18:16Speaker 6: back to a little this or that as we look
- 18:18Speaker 6: ahead to what's going to go down in the last
- 18:20Speaker 6: week of the regular season. For ten years, Dreamfinders Homes
- 18:29Speaker 6: has been proud to call himselves the official home builder

- 18:48Speaker 2: He played smart, he played tough, came back in after
- 18:52Speaker 2: being checked. You know, he ran the offense, and you know,
- 18:58Speaker 2: credit the offensive line, you know, especially in the second
- 19:01Speaker 2: half of of really kind of taking over and and
- 19:04Speaker 2: helping out in the run game. And you know, and
- 19:06Speaker 2: then the thing too sometimes is when you know, when
- 19:09Speaker 2: you when your starter's out, your backups in, I think
- 19:12Speaker 2: the focus, the attention is a little bit, you know,
- 19:15Speaker 2: the guys are a little more zeroed in. And we
- 19:17Speaker 2: saw that today really from not only the offense, but
- 19:20Speaker 2: I think the defense as well.
- 19:22Speaker 3: This school that.
- 19:25Speaker 6: This school that look into this or that here on
- 19:28Speaker 6: jag ZAMC. J. Bethard playing in place of Trevor Lawrence
- 19:31Speaker 6: and missed his first career start, and Bethard managed the
- 19:34Speaker 6: game well, it didn't turn the ball over, played smart
- 19:36Speaker 6: football allowed you know, getting points in the red zones
- 19:40Speaker 6: by field goals most of the time. And Travis Dpn
- 19:43Speaker 6: had a good day as well, so that certainly helped.
- 19:45Speaker 6: And then the defense went off and that's it's always helpful.
- 19:48Speaker 6: So as we look at this or that this week,
- 19:49Speaker 6: this is you know, win or go home situation pretty
- 19:52Speaker 6: much in Tennessee. So where do you go with players
- 19:56Speaker 6: that are kind of on the borderline here? Is this
- 19:57Speaker 6: a rest them? But can you do that if it's
- 20:00Speaker 6: a must win game or is it all in?
- 20:02Speaker 9: I don't rest anybody that can play, and you feel
- 20:04Speaker 9: like you help them because.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yes, they should win.
- 20:09Speaker 9: And I firmly believe that contending teams in this situation
- 20:15Speaker 9: usually beat non contending teams because of the urgency factor.
- 20:19Speaker 3: But that's no guarantee in this league.
- 20:20Speaker 9: We saw a couple of years back when the Jaguars
- 20:22Speaker 9: beat the Colts to knock the Colts out, So it
- 20:25Speaker 9: can happen. You know, I think if they're one hundred
- 20:31Speaker 9: percent or one hundred percent, but if they're in a
- 20:34Speaker 9: percent where they can help you.
- 20:35Speaker 3: You play them, and I don't think it's any question.
- 20:39Speaker 9: But I do think there's a question of the quarterback
- 20:40Speaker 9: position because that shoulder situation, to me, is a percentage game,
- 20:46Speaker 9: if that makes sense.
- 20:47Speaker 3: We don't know where it's gonna be. I doubt it's
- 20:49Speaker 3: gonna be one hundred.
- 20:50Speaker 9: And then they have to determine is eighty five is
- 20:53Speaker 9: eighty eight enough to have him.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Him on the field, or do they play well with CJ.
- 20:57Speaker 3: I'm not downplaying the decision they have to make.
- 21:00Speaker 4: No, it's a big decision.
- 21:02Speaker 8: Look, I think one of the reasons why they held
- 21:04Speaker 8: Zay Jones out last week is because they thought they
- 21:07Speaker 8: could win without him and try to get him healthier,
- 21:09Speaker 8: get his percentage higher.
- 21:10Speaker 4: So that he could go this week.
- 21:11Speaker 8: And we learned earlier today that Christian Kirk's twenty one
- 21:15Speaker 8: day practice window would be opened today, and that's a
- 21:18Speaker 8: strong sign that he will be able to go this week.
- 21:20Speaker 8: They've done it a few times this year Kai and
- 21:22Speaker 8: the only player who didn't make it to Sunday was
- 21:25Speaker 8: Christian Braswall at the rookie cornerback. So the sense is
- 21:28Speaker 8: is that you'll have Zay and Christian. Now, the decision
- 21:32Speaker 8: on the quarterback is a big decision because it's long
- 21:36Speaker 8: term with that, and we talked about Anthony Richardson last
- 21:40Speaker 8: week and what that has done to his season and
- 21:42Speaker 8: his rehabilitation process. But I would think you're going to
- 21:45Speaker 8: get the Titans team that scored nineteen points the last
- 21:47Speaker 8: two games combined. I would think you'd be able to
- 21:50Speaker 8: go up there with c. J. Bethard and do the
- 21:51Speaker 8: same thing you did last week, still win with him
- 21:54Speaker 8: as your quarterback.
- 21:55Speaker 4: They just don't score a lot of points in Tennessee
- 21:57Speaker 4: this year.
- 21:58Speaker 6: We talked a little bit about this last week, but
- 22:00Speaker 6: if Trevor is able to go but he doesn't practice again,
- 22:04Speaker 6: is that something we want to see? No?
- 22:06Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I mean I think they.
- 22:12Speaker 9: I would think Doug gained confidence that they could do
- 22:17Speaker 9: what Brian's talking about with CJ.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Bethard last week.
- 22:19Speaker 9: So you have a formula that you're comfortable with, the
- 22:24Speaker 9: players are comfortable with. Okay, Well, if Trevor gets out
- 22:27Speaker 9: there on Wednesday, fine, If he's not out there by Thursday,
- 22:31Speaker 9: then I think you have to look back and say, well, look,
- 22:34Speaker 9: we are comfortable with this. We settled things down. It
- 22:39Speaker 9: felt like the mind was right. Whatever all it is,
- 22:41Speaker 9: all the chaos of the last four weeks sort of calmed.
- 22:45Speaker 9: So I no, if he doesn't practice, they certainly will
- 22:50Speaker 9: not feel the need to throw him out there unprepared.
- 22:54Speaker 3: So I think the.
- 22:55Speaker 9: Next I don't know if today is important, it's tomorrow,
- 22:58Speaker 9: because I think if he would get a full day
- 23:00Speaker 9: tomorrow than he would play. But I think the next
- 23:03Speaker 9: two days obviously tell a lot in the story.
- 23:05Speaker 8: The last two times he's played without practicing, he's thrown
- 23:08Speaker 8: six interceptions, right, I mean, he has not played well,
- 23:10Speaker 8: So we have a body of work there now. I
- 23:13Speaker 8: do think that if Christian kirkinz A Jones are out there, well,
- 23:16Speaker 8: maybe you feel a little more comfortab because you didn't
- 23:17Speaker 8: have either, you know, in either of those games against
- 23:22Speaker 8: the Buccaneers. You didn't have both of them in either
- 23:24Speaker 8: of those games against the Browns and the Buccaneers. So
- 23:27Speaker 8: I mean, maybe that changes the trigonometry of this whole thing.
- 23:30Speaker 8: I just think the Jeffrey Simmons is on injured reserve.
- 23:33Speaker 8: He is their best defensive player and an absolute game record.
- 23:36Speaker 8: If you go back and watch the tape, he played
- 23:38Speaker 8: outstanding against the Jaguars, even though the Jaguars ran up
- 23:42Speaker 8: a big bill on those guys. So he's not there,
- 23:45Speaker 8: and you've got CJ. Bethard and an offense that will
- 23:48Speaker 8: function even greater if you've got Christian and Zay on
- 23:52Speaker 8: the field with Evan and Calvin Man. I feel even
- 23:55Speaker 8: better about c J. Bethard this week with all the
- 23:59Speaker 8: practice reps and going with it. And I wouldn't risk
- 24:02Speaker 8: Trevor if you're not completely confident that he can play
- 24:05Speaker 8: well on the practice field.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:07Speaker 9: The factor, obviously is in those four games they were
- 24:12Speaker 9: playing hot teams that were playing well. They're not playing
- 24:16Speaker 9: hot teams they're playing with right now. So that is
- 24:18Speaker 9: in the trigonomety Yer talks about. And you know, CJ
- 24:23Speaker 9: did a great job last week, really only one play downfield.
- 24:28Speaker 9: If you feel like you need strike plays, if you
- 24:31Speaker 9: feel like you need to go after it a little bit,
- 24:35Speaker 9: I'm saying CJ can't do that. But that's where let's
- 24:38Speaker 9: not get so hyped up about the CJ. Bethor train
- 24:42Speaker 9: that we forget that there are things in terms of
- 24:44Speaker 9: attacking that Trevor does very well. If he's healthy, you
- 24:49Speaker 9: want him there. I just don't know how the shoulder
- 24:50Speaker 9: is right, and.
- 24:52Speaker 8: I don't know that there's an actual CJ. Bethord train,
- 24:54Speaker 8: but I get where you're going with that. Oh, there's
- 24:55Speaker 8: a turn there, there's always a turn. He is capable
- 25:00Speaker 8: of playing well and he showed that last week, but
- 25:04Speaker 8: he's not a frontline starter. I think he's three to
- 25:06Speaker 8: ten in thirteen career starts. You have to know what
- 25:09Speaker 8: you've got there, and last week Doug Peterson and Press
- 25:11Speaker 8: Taylor put a game plan together and he executed that
- 25:14Speaker 8: game plan. So it's a matter of Doug and Press
- 25:18Speaker 8: having another game plan against these guys. And John talked
- 25:20Speaker 8: about taking shots where you're gonna have to be able
- 25:22Speaker 8: to run the ball and use Evan Ingram and Christian
- 25:25Speaker 8: Kirk provided he's on the field to set up the
- 25:27Speaker 8: deep shots and then give him those shots. It's going
- 25:31Speaker 8: to be well managed this week. And having those other
- 25:33Speaker 8: players on the field allows them the breathing room to
- 25:37Speaker 8: not have to force it with Trevor if he can't practice.
- 25:40Speaker 6: We talked a little bit about this for our other
- 25:42Speaker 6: this or that already, but Christian Kirk's window is available
- 25:45Speaker 6: as a Jones has been practicing, but he has not
- 25:47Speaker 6: been back on the field in a game because as
- 25:50Speaker 6: we've seen throughout the season, he's you know, practice, gone back,
- 25:53Speaker 6: come back onto the injury list. It's been an ongoing
- 25:56Speaker 6: situation with him, and from the inclinations we get it's
- 25:58Speaker 6: going to be an injury he deals with until he's
- 26:00Speaker 6: in the offseason. So which one do we think we'll
- 26:03Speaker 6: come back first? Ryan sounds like you think both of
- 26:05Speaker 6: them are coming back to seek John, what do you think?
- 26:07Speaker 3: I think both of them are coming back.
- 26:10Speaker 9: Certainly, the way Doug talked on Monday, he was couching
- 26:14Speaker 9: it a little bit, but it certainly sounded like he
- 26:16Speaker 9: thought both of them were going to play.
- 26:18Speaker 3: And there is that, to me, plays a little bit
- 26:22Speaker 3: into the Trevor decision. You would like. The big picture
- 26:29Speaker 3: here is still that this is a.
- 26:29Speaker 9: Team that was eight and three at one point, within
- 26:32Speaker 9: the top seed, and the AFC big picture is not
- 26:36Speaker 9: unwinnable for this team. They were down ten to seven
- 26:38Speaker 9: against the best team in football three weeks ago, should
- 26:42Speaker 9: have probably been up nineteen to ten. So let's not
- 26:45Speaker 9: forget that this team's goal is still the super Bowl.
- 26:48Speaker 9: If you thinks, is Doug that you can get Christian's
- 26:52Speaker 9: Day and Trevor on the same page this week and
- 26:55Speaker 9: get hot going in. That plays into the decision a
- 26:58Speaker 9: little bit as well. So I don't know, you know
- 27:04Speaker 9: how about that?
- 27:06Speaker 4: It is good TV.
- 27:08Speaker 8: I think maybe the question actually is, now that we
- 27:10Speaker 8: know that Christian Kirk is going to practice this.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Week, is who has a bigger impact?
- 27:14Speaker 2: Right?
- 27:15Speaker 8: And that's a hard one to say because Christian, clearly
- 27:18Speaker 8: his absence, has creative issues in the offense. But Day's
- 27:22Speaker 8: that guy that the quarterback trusts so intently and has
- 27:26Speaker 8: made big plays at key times. So I don't know
- 27:30Speaker 8: that one.
- 27:31Speaker 9: Other Yeah, I'll go Christian all the way on that one.
- 27:33Speaker 9: And I love Zay as a player, he matters a
- 27:38Speaker 9: great deal. But that innate trust that he has with
- 27:42Speaker 9: Christian Kirk. To Trevor Lawrence, if if you put him
- 27:47Speaker 9: on the line detector test and asked who his go
- 27:51Speaker 9: to guy is, if he didn't say Christian, you'd have
- 27:54Speaker 9: a tough time passing.
- 27:55Speaker 6: Yeah, you're right, Well, I was just holding for one.
- 27:58Speaker 6: If you guys think both of them are coming back,
- 27:59Speaker 6: that's gonn great.
- 28:00Speaker 9: You'll get that sense well, and remember not to keep
- 28:04Speaker 9: going on and on. Doug's talked so much in the
- 28:06Speaker 9: last few weeks about the need to get guys going.
- 28:09Speaker 9: When he talked about Tyson Campbell, Andre Cisco a little bit,
- 28:14Speaker 9: they would love the more I think about it, to
- 28:17Speaker 9: get those three going and get some moment I'm going
- 28:20Speaker 9: into the postseason. If your goal is to be in
- 28:23Speaker 9: Las Vegas, getting those guys on the same page could
- 28:26Speaker 9: matter a great deal.
- 28:27Speaker 5: This week, Sure, cook, stay with us here on jag Exam.
- 28:30Speaker 6: We'll preview what we've got going on the rest of
- 28:31Speaker 6: the week the final week of the regular season. DAGs fans,

- 29:13Speaker 4: A lot of work was put in.
- 29:15Speaker 12: You know, there were you know, there were people, there
- 29:17Speaker 12: were people out there calling me a bus and had
- 29:20Speaker 12: all the words in the world for me and my career,
- 29:22Speaker 12: and just just a lot of credit to God his
- 29:26Speaker 12: will for me, the resiliency that I showed in my
- 29:29Speaker 12: work and in my craft, and the people around me
- 29:32Speaker 12: that helped pick me up every single day. I'm helping
- 29:34Speaker 12: me get better my teammates, my coaches, my trainers, my family,
- 29:37Speaker 12: my fiance, I mean.
- 29:39Speaker 4: The list goes on. It means the world to me.
- 29:41Speaker 12: I do not take it lightly, and honestly, I feel
- 29:45Speaker 12: like I'm gonna be here for a while.
- 29:48Speaker 6: A lot of personal milestones in this game, obviously Josh
- 29:53Speaker 6: breaking the single season sack record for the franchise and
- 29:56Speaker 6: Evan Ingram going over a hundred receptions only the eighth
- 29:59Speaker 6: tight end ever do that. The Evan Ingram redemption arc
- 30:02Speaker 6: is a great one. I really enjoy it. I'm so
- 30:04Speaker 6: happy for him. He deserves it and obviously Josh deserves
- 30:08Speaker 6: it as well. Loved his Klais Campbell celebration that was
- 30:10Speaker 6: wonderful on his sack and the Traymon got his first
- 30:13Speaker 6: two seg game.
- 30:13Speaker 8: Right is that is so, and I believe that that
- 30:17Speaker 8: those two lead the NFL as a tandem, right with
- 30:21Speaker 8: twenty five and a half sacks. And you know, we've
- 30:24Speaker 8: been saying it and people are going, oh, you're crazy,
- 30:26Speaker 8: But Traylon's been coming for weeks.
- 30:28Speaker 4: He's been coming.
- 30:29Speaker 8: He's a really good football player, and all of a
- 30:31Speaker 8: sudden he's starting to figure out how to finish on
- 30:34Speaker 8: some of these sacks. So he has one half sack
- 30:37Speaker 8: behind the great Aiden Hutchinson, right, who the Jaguars didn't take.
- 30:42Speaker 8: But they've got a guy that they're thrilled. Peter King
- 30:45Speaker 8: wrote in his Quarterback or in his Monday Morning Quarterback
- 30:47Speaker 8: column whatever he calls it now Monday Morning Football in
- 30:49Speaker 8: America column, he wrote that the Lions had to be
- 30:52Speaker 8: deliriously happy that the Jaguars took Treymon Walker. The Jaguars
- 30:56Speaker 8: are pretty happy with Treymon Walker.
