She's an influential figure in the world of cryptocurrency and
• 1:16
meme coins. She's been a big supporter of me
• 1:19
and of the Unicorn fart does project from literally day one.
• 1:24
She's someone who I respect, someone who I trust, someone
• 1:27
who's very smart. And also I spent two days with
• 1:30
her at an event at for Ledger in Paris.
• 1:34
She's a very kind hearted person.
• 1:35
Gigi, welcome to Ron's basement. Welcome to the UFD daily live

I know you just finished a stream and I think are
• 1:59
continuing to stream it. So thank you so much for joining
• 2:02
us, Gigi. Yes, I'm so happy to be here.
• 2:06
Yeah. So, so you are in looks like
• 2:09
you're maybe up in Alaska with all that snow in the background.
• 2:12
Where? Where are you right now?
• 2:15
Yeah, it's so cold here and I'm kidding.
• 2:17
I mean, I'm currently in Hawaii, so I'm I'm very happy about
• 2:20
  that. Actually.
• 2:24
Give me, give me two seconds. This is what I'm going to do.
• 2:26
I'm going to take this off and I'm just going to listen to you
• 2:29
  directly, OK? OK, sounds great.
• 2:35
Cool. Can you hear me now?
• 2:39
  OK. Audios coming through.
• 2:44
Yes, let me see. I don't know why this is trying
• 2:54
to hear you through my normal mic.
• 2:57
Yeah. Can you hear me now, OK?
• 3:00
Anyway, so I'll just hear you through this.
• 3:01
It's fine. Yeah, Yep, you sound great.
• 3:04
Your audio on my end is awesome. OK, that's good.
• 3:08
Yeah, yeah. So Gigi, you discovered Unicorn
• 3:12
fart dust on day one. You and I have known each other
• 3:16
for over a whole year now. But you know, you, you're a
• 3:20
person who's respected, who is very active and fluential in the
• 3:24
world of crypto. How did you get there?
• 3:27
Do you mind telling us a little bit about your back story?
• 3:29
I'm curious to hear kind of where you started and and how
• 3:33
that led to where you are today. Yeah.
• 3:37
So it was there. It was like, I would say it's
• 3:39
like different than maybe like most people.
• 3:41
I started back in. Do you hear me?
• 3:44
  Yeah, I hear you. Great.
• 3:45
Yeah. OK, I started back in, sorry.
• 3:50
I started like in crypto back in 2017 was my initial like buy in
• 3:55
crypto. So I bought Ethereum back then.
• 3:57
I had some friends that were doing really, really well.
• 4:01
They took me to a crypto convention and they just told me
• 4:04
buy this and they were rich. So I was like OK, I'm going to
• 4:08
do it. But I didn't really get involved
• 4:10
fully until 2020. And even like 2021 was when I
• 4:15
actually got into crypto Twitter, which is apparently a
• 4:18
whole new section of of crypto and community.
• 4:22
So at that time I was a software engineer, very happy with being
• 4:28
a software engineer pretty much. And my friends started learning
• 4:32
about NFTS and I, because I was a stuffer engineer, they asked
• 4:36
me to like build a smart contract, which is how you
• 4:39
created NFTS. And that was kind of how I
• 4:41
started getting and falling in love with the technology more
• 4:46
than the use case because I, I didn't really care about like a
• 4:49
lot of the functions of the NFT, like the flex factor, whatever.
• 4:52
That used to be the main thing promoted.
• 4:55
And then throughout that I started doing education.
• 4:58
So I've been doing education in crypto since 2021.
• 5:01
I've been doing advance for women in crypto as well, like or
• 5:04
just like women allies since 2021.
• 5:09
But I would say even though I've, I've been doing the thing
• 5:13
since that long and I was even hosting spaces since 2021 and
• 5:17
everything, it wasn't really until probably like 2023-2024
• 5:23
that I actually started like feeling comfortable with, you
• 5:27
know, like the things that I like, like trading and even
• 5:31
speaking about it because it's always had such a negative
• 5:33
connotation to be someone who likes me going some who trades
• 5:37
versus holding. And it's, yeah, but I mean from,
• 5:41
from, since back then, like I've been a speaker at the United
• 5:45
Nations, I spoken at consensus. I think there was one year I
• 5:48
spoke at like 15 public events, including colleges about like
• 5:52
blockchain and the use cases. So I've, I've been around, I
• 5:55
  feel like I'm, I'm like, I'm old.
• 5:57
I'm I'm old and crook though. Well, you don't, you don't look
• 6:00
old, that's for sure. I think, I think I take the, the
• 6:03
award in that, in that regard, You know, when you talked about
• 6:07
how you kind of got interested in crypto, was it the like the
• 6:11
opportunity for average people? That's one thing that really
• 6:15
excited me was when I, you know, I knew nothing about crypto when
• 6:18
I first met you, as you well know, you know, I had never
• 6:22
owned a crypto. I thought I knew a little bit
• 6:25
about crypto before I started UFD, but honestly, I didn't know
• 6:28
anything. And as I learned, one of the
• 6:30
things that really excited me was that this is like an equal
• 6:34
fair opportunity for people all over the world and, and do it.
• 6:38
Do I sense that maybe you feel the same way?
• 6:40
Like, it's a new frontier, a new horizon, but it's also like like
• 6:45
a a, a, a fair and level playing field for people.
• 6:49
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I definitely OK, Sorry, sorry.
• 6:57
  I was making sure. Yeah.
• 6:58
I think, I think for me that was like the first, the first use
• 7:00
case. I was like, OK, it's an equal
• 7:02
playing field. And I did feel like there was a
• 7:05
lot of people that had like, you know, had a had an advantage,
• 7:08
right. Because you know, if you're, if
• 7:11
you're using the Internet, if you're Internet savvy, if
• 7:14
you're, you know, living in a first world type of environment
• 7:18
versus a third world type of environment, like right, I come
• 7:21
from Venezuela and Venezuela, Venezuelan people are big users
• 7:26
of crypto. Like that's how we send money
• 7:28
because banks are shut down. You know, I can't send money
• 7:31
through a bank from the US to Venezuela.
• 7:35
The living wage in Venezuela is fairly low.
• 7:37
So people prefer jobs that pay in cryptocurrency.
• 7:41
So you know, when we talk back then 2021 AXI Infinity, one of
• 7:46
the biggest games, it was feeling like Colombians, Phil
• 7:51
Philippines, Venezuelans, like crypto has always been outside
• 7:55
of just yeah, it's fun, yes, maybe you can buy something and
• 8:00
hold and make a lot of money, whatever, you know, maybe you
• 8:04
lose it all. But like outside of all those
• 8:06
use cases, I think like just the essence of crypto and lowering
• 8:11
that barrier between the world finances system, right?
• 8:16
Like I think that's what really excited me in the beginning.
• 8:19
I think now obviously I'm still excited about it.
• 8:21
I think it's really interesting all the opportunities that we
• 8:24
have through crypto, but I think that first level still needs to
• 8:30
be there and you still need to care about like onboarding those
• 8:34
that crypto might actually be an essential part of their life
• 8:39
once they're in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 8:41
I know. I hear that example all the
• 8:43
time, right. But like people that are in the
• 8:45
United States that want to send money to their family in
• 8:48
countries like Venezuela, Mexico, how much more efficient
• 8:52
it is with crypto, right? Like it's faster, it's the the
• 8:57
expense associated with it is, is much lower.
• 9:00
And that it really is like a true benefit that I think over
• 9:04
time, because crypto has a lot of advantages over the Tranfi
• 9:10
world, which is where I came from when I realized that I was
• 9:13
like, wow, there's, you know, it's going to be really
• 9:16
difficult for, for them to stop that, that force that free
• 9:21
market force from, from, from keeping crypto adoption, you
• 9:26
know, from it just more and more people coming into the world of
• 9:29
  crypto. It's.
• 9:32
  It's. Exciting.
• 9:33
  Yeah. How are you feeling?
• 9:36
I feel like you were so early to to the gold and silver world
• 9:40
right now. It's such a huge thing.
• 9:43
You're also in crypto now. How's your audience?
• 9:47
Did you, were you able to onboard some of our crypto
• 9:49
people into the gold and silver before this huge pump that
• 9:53
happened? You know, I never, even when I
• 9:57
was purely gold and silver, I never like, how do I say it?
• 10:01
I never gave financial advice. I just talked about what I
• 10:04
believed, which was that gold and silver were undervalued,
• 10:08
that they were a great store of, of wealth or a good, a great way
• 10:13
to store your wealth. And I had a lot of people from
• 10:17
the gold and silver community that have that have also now
• 10:21
purchased Unicorn fart dust. And I think that that there's a
• 10:25
lot of people in crypto as well that it's kind of gone both
• 10:28
ways. And you know, those are two
• 10:31
asset classes, GG crypto and gold and silver.
• 10:35
They're really similar except for the fact that one's digital
• 10:39
  and one's obviously purely physical.
• 10:42
So there's a lot of similarities, but they're also
• 10:45
asset classes that were, oh, what's the right word?
• 10:48
I don't say look down upon, but a lot of people look down on
• 10:52
gold and silver and people that invested in gold and silver.
• 10:56
I did it for 20 years and you know, you would get, you know,
• 11:00
looked at funny when you talked about gold and silver with your
• 11:02
neighbors and similar ish. I think to, although it's
• 11:06
changing to, to what I see in crypto now as well.
• 11:11
And, and, but yeah, I see a big amount of people that are, and I
• 11:15
think it's, it's definitely growing, right?
• 11:17
There's, there's some people in the gold and silver community
• 11:20
that really dislike crypto. And I think there's maybe some
• 11:22
people in crypto that dislike gold and silver.
• 11:25
But the divide between the two communities is, is, is is
• 11:31
growing smaller and smaller. You know, because both of them
• 11:35
basically are not big fans of the Fiat money system.
• 11:40
Yeah, I, I, I always think about you when I see all of this.
• 11:44
I'm like, look at him. He got into crypto.
• 11:48
He has Unicorn for us. He's been in gold and silver run
• 11:52
is killing it. Oh, so hi Susie.
• 11:54
I see you in the chat. Here, Susie, you may want to say
• 11:58
Susie, you want to say hi to Gigi.
• 12:03
She may not have her walkie-talkie on, so she'll pop
• 12:06
  in here in. Walkie-talkie.
• 12:08
  Yeah, I'm, I'm involved. Sorry.
• 12:15
  Just turned it on. Hi.
• 12:18
But yeah, you know, the goal, I mean that that's where I've
• 12:21
always invested. You know, basically I'm in, you
• 12:23
know, some junior mining stocks and in the gold and silver
• 12:28
sector and Unicorn fart dust. That's UFD is still really, I
• 12:32
mean, I'm so focused on it. So when the, you know,
• 12:36
traditional financial advisors call me and I tell them they're,
• 12:39
you know, they don't know what to say because they're both
• 12:41
asset classes that are non traditional.
• 12:45
But I think I believe and I know in in my heart, like I believe
• 12:49
in crypto, I believe in UFD and I believe in gold and silver.
• 12:52
And yeah, but a lot of the gold and silver people have, I think
• 12:57
because they trust me. I think that's something about
• 13:01
  you. That's, that's also, you know, a
• 13:04
great attribute that when people trust you, then they're, they're
• 13:08
more willing to take a look at, at crypto.
• 13:10
So it's, I think it's, I think the next 10 years are going to
• 13:13
be exciting for crypto and for the precious metals sector.
• 13:18
Yeah, I agree. So I'm excited.
• 13:21
I'm excited about it. I want to ask you, Gigi, and I
• 13:26
guess I'll, I'll ask this, I'll ask it right now, right.
• 13:29
Like you are somebody who I know is very involved with crypto and
• 13:32
I think has a great feel for what's going on.
• 13:35
What, what do you what, when you think about the crypto world
• 13:38
right now? And then I'll ask you about meme
• 13:40
coin specifically as well. But how do you feel about what's
• 13:44
going on in crypto right now? And as you look out, let's say
• 13:47
two to five years, any thoughts on on on what you foresee
• 13:51
happening? Honestly, it's I would say so
• 13:55
it's the one thing about crypto is that it's so tough.
• 13:58
I feel like, you know, if you've been here for a long time, been
• 14:01
here for five years, it's kind of like you always have this
• 14:05
idea of what is going to happen, right?
• 14:07
Like I feel like I've always had this idea and to some extent, a
• 14:11
lot of the catalysts we had talked about did happen, right?
• 14:14
Like we were here before the government thought crypto was
• 14:19
not not even cool, but like legal, right?
• 14:23
Like we used to trade mean coins when we thought, hey, maybe
• 14:27
maybe mean coins are very illegal.
• 14:29
Maybe we are trading commodities right, like we were doing and if
• 14:33
these when we thought, hey, maybe this is illegal because
• 14:35
maybe this is a commodity that is not like.
• 14:39
So having said that, like we kind of bit the leaf in the and
• 14:44
the future of crypto and how you know, it is useful for banks,
• 14:47
how it's useful for government, how it's useful for storing
• 14:51
things in the Internet like, you know, sorry, not in the Internet
• 14:55
in the blockchain, like things that should not get lost.
• 14:59
Let's say you know you're. For your.
• 15:01
House your, your license, whatever it is, right?
• 15:05
And we now see so many new chains coming out that are
• 15:09
building private networks because a big thing is like,
• 15:13
yes, while the Ledger is public, while the blocking is public
• 15:18
public Ledger, there should be private networks within that
• 15:24
public networks, right? Because I don't want my Social
• 15:27
Security stored in a way people can find it, right?
• 15:30
So I think we've seen a lot of those things happen.
• 15:34
And then now going into mean coins, you know, we have the
• 15:36
president of the United States drop a mean point.
• 15:39
That's kind of insane. Never in a million years I would
• 15:43
have had a big like, if you would tell me, can you like,
• 15:49
would this happen? And if this happens, I'll give
• 15:51
you $1,000,000. I'd say no, I would say no.
• 15:53
Like the president of a, of a country will never drop a
• 15:56
meanwhile, we had all these presents dropping inputs, right?
• 15:59
So I think we had a very like high momentum, high energy.
• 16:06
A lot of people got burned, a lot of people lost a lot of
• 16:09
money. And now we are in, you know, a
• 16:12
place where we are trying to find our our stepping again
• 16:15
because we just got the first like pro crypto president.
• 16:20
He has a crypto company. He has like crypto mean going.
• 16:23
His wife launched the mean going technically, maybe kind of her.
• 16:28
There's like all these things that happened.
• 16:30
A lot of people made money, a lot of people lost money and
• 16:33
we're currently in this. I feel like this weird stage of
• 16:35
like, what is next, right? What's next are these companies
• 16:39
that are publicly invested in crypto, but also part of the,
• 16:45
you know, stock market and the indices like micro strategy and
• 16:50
others. Like it's not even legal, right?
• 16:53
Like right now we're seeing things with digital assets,
• 16:56
treasury that are trying to figure out like, is that OK?
• 16:59
Like should companies be buying crypto?
• 17:01
Should that be part of their valuation?
• 17:02
Should that be pumping your stock price?
• 17:04
So I think outside of like when you go outside of Twitter, you
• 17:09
actually see there's so much happening in, in, in the
• 17:14
legislation space that does affect crypto, right?
• 17:18
Because if people don't know what to do in this, this
• 17:21
scenario, if I don't know if what's going to happen in, in
• 17:25
that side, in that side of the world, I'm like, should I be
• 17:29
buying crypto right now? Is it going to go down?
• 17:31
If, if that vote turns out to be negative, it's that going to be
• 17:35
a better buying opportunity than buying right now.
• 17:37
So I think right now we're kind of like in this weird stage of
• 17:41
trying to get more clarity from the government, from president,
• 17:47
from all these companies. And I think, you know, last year
• 17:52
I was like Q4. Q 1 is going to be a great time
• 17:54
for crypto. And it ended up actually being
• 17:57
total opposite because of the things I'm mentioning, which are
• 18:00
things no ones are coming like, oh, the the DAT is now trying to
• 18:05
like maybe ban companies from buying crypto as far as their
• 18:08
whole things. OK, well, so all these things
• 18:11
keep happening at times where it's like it's so unpredictable.
• 18:14
So I, I mean, I don't think the US government wants to see a
• 18:20
  breakthrough through the economy.
• 18:21
So I don't think they're going to let that happen.
• 18:23
But we do have to kind of like wait, sit out, see this things
• 18:26
unfold and then see how the momentum again picks up.
• 18:30
I think usually the most boring times and the ones with the most
• 18:36
fear and when you're like kind of lose your hope is when
• 18:40
everything happens. So I'm, I'm still excited, but I
• 18:44
do think, you know, if you're here, it doesn't matter if it's
• 18:47
a bull market or a bear market. It doesn't matter if prices fall
• 18:50
up or down because at the end of the day, it's like, look, they
• 18:54
kind of stole a $90,000 that only happened when like last
• 18:57
year, like a year ago, right? Like we're still seeing
• 19:00
incredible prices like Asus at 3000 Solana.
• 19:05
We need to work on Solana. But it's at 1:26.
• 19:08
And it's like, we've seen worse in this.
• 19:11
We've actually have, you know, it's been pretty stable.
• 19:14
Yeah. We all want price to go up.
• 19:16
But when times are down, I think it's the best time to
• 19:20
accumulate. It's the best time to learn.
• 19:21
It's the best time to learn and build.
• 19:24
  So yeah, I'm like, I don't care if it's a bull market.
• 19:28
Bear market. I was here when Ethereum went
• 19:31
from $4000 to $800. You know, we've been here from
• 19:36
when Solana was at $200, went down to $8, and then it went
• 19:39
back up. So it just depends on the time
• 19:41
frame that you have for yourself.
• 19:43
But if you're here, you're getting bored and you're
• 19:45
thinking about leaving to start doing things that like
• 19:49
rejuvenate you and start going into different parts, like, you
• 19:52
know, maybe support the UFD community.
• 19:55
Join, join, join their chats. I'm sure there's so many good
• 19:57
  people there. Yeah.
• 19:59
Well, there are, I mean the UFD community, I mean we, I think
• 20:03
one of the things that, that I think is, is a, is a big selling
• 20:08
point for the project that we have is that I, I believe that
• 20:11
we're perceived as being safe and reliable.
• 20:14
  And predictable, I, I guess I'll ask you as somebody who's, I
• 20:18
mean, you, you are in tune with what's going on in the overall
• 20:22
crypto market and I think the meme coin sector as well.
• 20:25
Do you, when you look at UFD and you kind of look at how it's
• 20:28
evolved over the last year, do you look at the our project as
• 20:31
being one that I think, you know, people can rely upon?
• 20:36
  Yeah, I mean, 100%. I think like I've always said, I
• 20:39
love that. You know, at the end of the day,
• 20:41
like everyone has all this Kryptus's face of speculation,
• 20:45
right? So people want to speculate,
• 20:47
they want to buy that new main coin.
• 20:49
They want to hope that that's going to go to the moon and
• 20:51
whatever it is. But at the end of the day, I'm
• 20:53
like, listen, I know Ron, you know Ron.
• 20:56
Ron is live every day. Ron has been live every day on
• 20:58
his on his YouTube. So I'm excited to see you guys
• 21:03
like continue to like grow and continue to build community.
• 21:07
At the end of the day, it's a it's a game of numbers, building
• 21:09
community and building people that want to be there for the
• 21:11
long run. And if I'm going to bet on an
• 21:14
anonymous founder, I'd rather bet on Ron, who's been here
• 21:17
down. And you know, this man had the
• 21:20
opportunity to exit a year ago when he had millions of dollars
• 21:25
in the coin. He's still here.
• 21:26
He was still here. He was always there.
• 21:28
So I'm like, I, I'm so bullish on you, Ron.
• 21:30
And I think you're such a great gift to this industry.
• 21:34
I swear you're so kind since he's so kind as well.
• 21:38
You guys have such a great community.
• 21:39
And yeah, I think in my like, the thing with Ming fans is
• 21:43
always people are going to go look for the biggest, like the
• 21:46
hottest thing right now because everyone's trying to make that
• 21:48
$1.00 to $1,000,000 paycheck. But eventually they're going to
• 21:52
go back to the communities that are there that are consistent.
• 21:56
And for me, it's like, if anyone deserves to win, it's wrong.
• 21:58
Because I swear you're like, your dedication is insane.
• 22:03
You're, you're so dedicated and you show up every day, which is
• 22:07
I think what we need, what we need more of in this space.
• 22:10
Yeah, well, thank you for your kind words, Gigi.
• 22:13
And, you know, I think super highly of you as well,
• 22:16
especially after you're getting to spend some time around you
• 22:18
when we were in in Paris. Yeah, you know, it, it, it like
• 22:22
my feel after being in it for a year or a little over a year, a
• 22:26
year and a month at this point, is that, yeah, there's all this
• 22:30
like gambling a lot of times, I guess you could call it, that
• 22:33
goes on, like you said, people that want to turn a dollar into
• 22:35
$1,000,000. But that overtime, especially as
• 22:39
there's more higher levels of crypto adoption, that people are
• 22:44
going to want some safety, some reliability, somebody they feel
• 22:48
like they can trust. And and I feel like the UFD
• 22:52
community, I mean, it's incredible how it's evolved over
• 22:56
the last year. But there's some really good
• 22:58
people. There's a lot of really good
• 23:00
people in crypto. I think sometimes too, like
• 23:02
people that are outside of the crypto bubble will look at
• 23:06
crypto and be like, oh, it's, you know, they have this bias
• 23:09
against crypto in general. And it's been my experience.
• 23:12
Yeah, there's some bad actors, no doubt about it, right.
• 23:15
But that's true in any industry, like the vast majority of the
• 23:19
people in crypto and especially the investors or the, or the
• 23:24
token holders, however you want to say it, are really good
• 23:26
people. Like, and they're all over the
• 23:28
world. I mean, they're just really
• 23:30
nice, good, common, you know, good hearted people.
• 23:35
Yeah, I think they're so fine, Bernie or comments.
• 23:37
They're like Deb dusters, like what's up?
• 23:39
Bad mother dusters. It's like that's so cute.
• 23:42
Like where do you where do you get that?
• 23:45
Well, that's what we call ourselves.
• 23:46
Do you still own your UFD or do you own some?
• 23:48
UFD of course, of course we've we've always been, we've always
• 23:52
  been. There's, there's a few coins
• 23:53
that I'm like, I just told them people might think whatever it
• 23:57
is for me sport, just like I actually really support this
• 24:00
person. I really want this person to
• 24:02
win, You know, I do. I'm a I'm a trader at you know,
• 24:05
I'm a trader at heart. So I'm going to trade most
• 24:08
coins, like 99% of the coins I'm trading, but I have like 4 coins
• 24:12
that I hold and it's because I love those people.
• 24:15
I'm like, I just want to see them win.
• 24:16
I want to be part of it. If I mean just to say like you
• 24:20
guys went to 473,000,000 like market cap, right?
• 24:24
Like you, you were one of the biggest, most craziest organic
• 24:29
to run in mink history, right? Like it's, it's insane.
• 24:34
But like, yes, I definitely am. I'm still a big supporter of
• 24:37
  UFC. I still hold it.
• 24:38
And I again, it's kind of hard not to do it when I see you live
• 24:43
literally doing your show, bringing people on, supporting
• 24:47
  your community. It's, it's like I said, it's
• 24:50
like incredible to me to see that.
• 24:53
Yeah, I think that, you know, I am committed to this, committed
• 24:57
to the it's, it's, it's not that I'm committed to UFD, which I am
• 25:00
committed to, I guess technically UFD, but I feel very
• 25:04
committed to the community. And I know that that's what UFD
• 25:08
is. That's what, you know, to a
• 25:09
large extent what any cryptocurrency is, is the
• 25:12
community. And I say it all the time.
• 25:14
It's like, you know, trust is the number one thing because
• 25:18
trust builds relationships and relationships are what build the
• 25:22
community. And you know, and I want to get
• 25:25
your opinion on this, Gigi, because I think that crypto
• 25:29
adoption rates will continue to increase.
• 25:32
Like when I look out five or ten years from now, I tend to think
• 25:36
kind of like when like I'm old enough to remember when the
• 25:38
Internet first came out and maybe 10% of people had what was
• 25:43
called AOL dial up Internet and then over to and some people
• 25:47
said, you know, the Internet was crazy and would never go
• 25:50
anywhere, whatever. But now everybody right uses the
• 25:53
Internet. And I think that that like 5-10
• 25:56
years from now, do you, do you think we'll see a much larger
• 26:00
percentage of the overall, I guess United States, but also
• 26:04
the world population in the world of crypto?
• 26:08
Yeah, 100%. I think like crypto, I mean, at
• 26:12
the end of the day, and that's what I say, even when we talk
• 26:14
about Twitter, it's like crypto is such a financial space that
• 26:17
you will see a lot of people, sorry, go in and go out, right?
• 26:23
Because some people come in with the idea that they're going to
• 26:26
turn whatever money they have into millions.
• 26:28
They get burned out. They're like, fuck crypto,
• 26:30
right? But maybe they revisit it again
• 26:33
in the in the future. So I do think we see such
• 26:36
fluctuation of wallets, people overall, because crypto is a
• 26:43
financial place just like the stock market.
• 26:45
Like, listen, I invested in the stock market in 2019 and then I
• 26:50
lost a bunch of money in 2021 and then I was like, you know
• 26:53
what, fuck the stock market. I to be honest, I have not
• 26:56
bought a stock ever since, but I know my friends right now are
• 27:00
making a lot of money in the stock market and they're telling
• 27:02
me, Gee, you got to go buy this, You got to go buy that.
• 27:04
I'm like, you know what guys, I'm sticking to crypto because
• 27:06
like I got burned. And I think that's the same way
• 27:08
that a lot of people feel and it's understandable.
• 27:11
Like you go into something, you lose money and what will take
• 27:15
that person that already left, right, like that person that
• 27:19
churned from this industry back is improved.
• 27:24
The use case is better, better content is better on boarding.
• 27:31
  I don't know, like that's what I'm thinking.
• 27:32
So I think we are seeing so many people from the Mink Point side,
• 27:36
from the crypto side, just continuing to create better
• 27:40
content that helps people understand this space more.
• 27:42
I think there's more opportunities that, you know,
• 27:46
maybe you're not a trader, but you're an engineer.
• 27:48
Well, there's this company in crypto that's hiring engineers.
• 27:51
You can still join that and that's an entryway into the
• 27:54
  industry back again, designer jobs.
• 27:56
Like there's so many ways that I think we're gonna see more
• 27:59
people come in. And obviously, even though some
• 28:03
people hate to see it, it's like because the government is
• 28:06
supporting crypto, we are going to see more jobs opening.
• 28:10
We are going to see this become more approachable, be more
• 28:15
normal, and we are going to see more people come in.
• 28:18
So I think it's not about if, it's about when and when it
• 28:22
happens. You want to be in a position
• 28:25
where your community, your content, your brand is something
• 28:29
that people go in, right? Because you want to be that
• 28:32
entryway for people. That's why when we talked about
• 28:37
so long ago about the Moon Bay video, I was like, oh, you
• 28:39
should do a Moon Bay video, like showing people how to buy UFD
• 28:44
with just Moonfair. I guess you can just do it with
• 28:46
your card. It's like I think when you're
• 28:49
that first entry point for someone, they discover something
• 28:53
through you. It's such a crazy bond and it's
• 28:56
such a magical thing that happens that I think at the end
• 29:00
of the day, when we see the fluctuation happen, when we see
• 29:04
that you want to be the person with the tutorials, you want to
• 29:08
be the person with the community.
• 29:10
And and that's, that's like what I'm trying to do.
• 29:12
I'm trying to do a lot of beginner sell content again,
• 29:15
because at the end of the day, yes, you will have some people
• 29:19
that are like, yo, I've been here for 10 years, but well,
• 29:21
  guess what? Thank you.
• 29:22
Now we need to work on the ones that have not been here for 10
• 29:25
years and maybe don't even like this community because we need
• 29:29
more people to come in. So, So yes, I do think we're
• 29:31
  going to see a, a huge, yeah. I mean, we're we're we're early
• 29:36
still, I hate to say it, we're still early.
• 29:38
Yeah, yeah. But, and I agree with you 100%,
• 29:41
and I've been kind of hitting on this point recently with our
• 29:45
community. I'm sponsored by Moon Pay, but
• 29:48
Moon Pay is really the most simple, straightforward way.
• 29:52
People say, how do we onboard people into UFD?
• 29:55
Like it's real easy with Moon Pay, right?
• 29:57
I mean that look, I figured it out.
• 29:59
Moon Pay was my very first crypto transaction and it's
• 30:03
easy. You don't have to set up a
• 30:05
software wallet. You can go into Moon Pay.
• 30:07
I did it the other day. I transferred some money from
• 30:10
PayPal into Moon Pay and then bought UFD on Moon Pay.
• 30:13
And you know, I think that's another key component is that
• 30:18
there are some really great companies like Moon Pay and I'd
• 30:21
say like Ledger also, which I think you and I obviously were
• 30:24
both at the Ledger headquarters that are adding real value into
• 30:29
crypto, right? Like moon phase onboarding.
• 30:32
I mean, they are the on ramp into crypto for millions and
• 30:34
millions of people. Ledger secure is helping people
• 30:37
secure, which everybody knows I got hacked, right?
• 30:40
So that's a big, big deal, you know, and then when you talk
• 30:44
  about I, I guess the R word, which I won't win a popularity
• 30:48
contest probably by saying this. But I do think that like you,
• 30:52
you talked about this evolution of the of the regulatory
• 30:57
environment in crypto, that if it doesn't go too far, that it
• 31:01
could actually be really good for crypto because it might give
• 31:04
more of the normies out there or the non crypto people who are
• 31:09
afraid of crypto now some confidence that they can go into
• 31:12
the sector and and feel a little safer about it.
• 31:17
Does that does that make sense? Yeah, 100%.
• 31:21
  I think, I don't know. I think we're so early still
• 31:23
through all this game right now. We're seeing like prediction
• 31:25
markets. And when I think about even
• 31:27
prediction markets, it's like because we see it on on the TV,
• 31:30
right, We see, I don't know about you actually.
• 31:32
I've seen it on the TV. I've seen Kashi on the TV.
• 31:34
I see probably market on the TV in LA.
• 31:37
There's all these other kinds like sports betting.
• 31:40
And when I think about like, OK, like why is that more
• 31:43
approachable in a way to normies, It's because there's
• 31:47
not all this influx, right? Like if, if there's a prediction
• 31:51
market about, well, UFD hit $1.00, another person can't go
• 31:58
and create the same market, but name it differently, like UFD
• 32:02
hitting $1.00, right? So like now you're like, oh
• 32:05
fuck, like what do I have? Which, which one do I bet on?
• 32:07
Cuz if I bet on the first one and the second one goes, it's
• 32:09
still the same. You know, it's like, I do think
• 32:12
we still have to figure out like branding, positioning and how to
• 32:16
not dilute what we are doing in crypto, especially mean coins,
• 32:20
right? Like a big thing is like you buy
• 32:22
a min coin UFD and then they sell, they sell UFDOG and now
• 32:27
everyone find UFDOG. So I think it's also like we
• 32:29
have a branding problem for for normies, but that's where I
• 32:33
think communities like this one that are reliable.
• 32:38
Amazing death, by the way, great community.
• 32:42
You guys have a way to, you know, be like, Hey guys, like
• 32:45
instead of finding all that crap, like how about you come
• 32:48
here and bet on something that will not last five minutes and
• 32:53
dump or five days and dump, right?
• 32:55
Like this is what we've been doing for this long.
• 32:57
And then building, building that community dynamic into it where,
• 33:01
you know, I see your chat. Obviously they, they, they love
• 33:04
you. They feel very much part of what
• 33:07
you guys are doing and they're doing it together and that's
• 33:10
really awesome. So I do think like even though
• 33:12
we have all these issues, because we are like Minko, it's
• 33:17
in a very much real way are gambling the way that like
• 33:21
people do it. When you have real communities,
• 33:24
it's kind of like, hey, yeah, you can keep doing that.
• 33:27
You can keep trading, gambling, whatever you want to call it,
• 33:31
but you can still support people that are here for the long run
• 33:33
and you can be part of that. Yeah, yeah.
• 33:36
And I and I like what you said about branding.
• 33:38
I mean, one thing we've done in UFD just in the last 8 weeks is
• 33:42
started the process of registering our IP with the US
• 33:45
Patent and Trade Office so that we actually have, we have our
• 33:49
own, you know, UFD character now the name UFD.
• 33:54
And, and I think that that like doing things like that sets us
• 33:57
apart because you kind of touched on this and something
• 34:00
that I definitely experienced over the last year and, and felt
• 34:05
during the first three to four months that there's so much
• 34:08
dilution, right? There's so many that I don't
• 34:10
know. There were, it seemed like at
• 34:11
one point there were like a million new meme coins being
• 34:14
created every month. And and I think that that I
• 34:19
don't I'll get, I want your opinion on this.
• 34:21
It feels like to me that as we move forward, that the meme coin
• 34:24
sector is evolving and that we won't maybe see that many new
• 34:29
meme coins coming out and that the ones that crypto Vic said
• 34:34
this the other day. He said, I think there's going
• 34:35
to be kind of a meme coin Hall of Fame with the good projects
• 34:40
that that have their IP, that that have a proven track record
• 34:45
and that they'll be the ones that remain standing and that
• 34:48
have a great community, right, which is the foundation of it
• 34:50
all. I can't forget to say that.
• 34:53
Do you do you? When you look out like a year
• 34:55
from now, if you had a crystal ball, GG.
• 34:58
Do you see that the meme coin sector is evolving in a lot of
• 35:01
ways? Yeah, I think everyone is trying
• 35:05
to like fit. I mean, I think more
• 35:06
importantly, launch pads wants to do this, right.
• 35:08
Like when I, when I think about the problem is like as a trader,
• 35:13
you know, if you're a trader, you trade, if you're a holder,
• 35:15
you hold. But then outside of that is like
• 35:18
4 listen, launch pads make their money from fees, right?
• 35:24
So every launchpad out there makes money from youth trading,
• 35:28
from the deaf deploying, you know, like that's how they make
• 35:32
their money. That's just how they make their
• 35:34
money. So when we think about that,
• 35:36
it's like the more people that get turned away from buying mini
• 35:41
coins because of the mass influx of mini coins out there are
• 35:47
everyday people that just literally will buy the create
• 35:53
one, dump, whatever. Like yesterday I was looking at
• 35:57
some mini points. There were two mini coins that
• 35:58
were running, so deaf was holding 40% of the main point.
• 36:02
I'm like, I'm going to go check afterwards.
• 36:04
Where is it at? It's on by go.
• 36:06
They can like they have all good.
• 36:07
We're at $500,000 in this main, kind of like why do they even
• 36:11
own so much, right? So I think eventually people are
• 36:16
going to get burned. Like we're seeing there's a lot
• 36:18
of people burned. That's why a lot of people are
• 36:19
no longer buying, buying and trading main points.
• 36:22
And I think launchpads are going to be put in a position where
• 36:26
they have to figure out how can they help create better
• 36:30
narratives? How can they help create better
• 36:33
launches? How can they help create a more
• 36:35
trustworthy space for people to still want to go in, you know,
• 36:41
and put their money in it? Because I, I think like at the
• 36:45
end of the day, launchpads need devs, but they also need
• 36:49
traders. Traders want to buy things, but
• 36:53
they need to know that, you know, in a way, like I'm not
• 36:56
going to get rugged in two seconds after I buy this.
• 36:59
So I do think we are going to see a lot of different like
• 37:02
things coming up, whether it's new launchpads or launchpads or
• 37:05
  dusting, what they're currently doing.
• 37:09
Is it is it what people want? I don't think so.
• 37:11
I think people, you know, a lot of people just want to be able
• 37:13
to do whatever they want with whatever they want.
• 37:16
  But I don't know, I'm like, I'm excited.
• 37:19
I'm excited to see what's going to happen.
• 37:20
To be honest. It's kind of unpredictable
• 37:22
because this space just moves so fast.
• 37:25
Like next week we could have like this big thing happen and
• 37:29
now everything changed for the next year.
• 37:30
I have no really no idea, but I think there's so much
• 37:35
opportunity in crypto just because of all this uncertainty
• 37:40
on fast moving trends, fast metas.
• 37:43
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I think UFD will that we'll
• 37:48
continue to just do what we do, right.
• 37:51
I mean, not the communities obviously very focused on UFD.
• 37:54
I'm very focused on UFD and we'll be one of those options
• 37:58
there. I mean, somebody the other day,
• 38:00
a couple people started referring to UFD as a blue chip
• 38:04
meme coin, which I thought, boy, only in the world of crypto
• 38:07
after one year can you be considered a, a blue chip, which
• 38:10
I took is a big compliment for our community in the, in the
• 38:14
project as well. I know we're running short on
• 38:17
time, but I, I wanted to ask you if you had any advice.
• 38:20
You know, as you look at UFDI, know you've, you've, you've been
• 38:24
familiar with us from day one. You were like, you know, one of
• 38:27
the first big influencers that spotted UFDI think on the first
• 38:31
night. Any advice or any observations
• 38:36
that you would share with me and with the community about what we
• 38:39
could do or not do going forward to help the project?
• 38:43
Yeah, I mean, I think you guys have been doing such a great
• 38:45
  job. Again, I don't, I don't think
• 38:47
there's a single other founder that's out there going live
• 38:51
every day. Your community is also so
• 38:54
strong, right? I see, I see so many people from
• 38:58
the community that are that are both posting.
• 39:00
So I would say just that's a big one.
• 39:03
Like people need to keep posting about it.
• 39:05
You know, if you're part of this community, you wanted to win,
• 39:08
keep posting about it. If you're on Twitter, go tweet
• 39:11
about it, go reply to other people's tweets.
• 39:13
That's probably like more more impactful than than just
• 39:18
posting. Like if you if you don't really
• 39:20
get views posting, Hey, go, go invade the post of other people
• 39:23
that have maybe I encrypt them, maybe I mean coins and talk
• 39:26
about it, right. I think like me to distribution
• 39:29
is key, right. And I think if you are on
• 39:32
TikTok, if you're on Instagram, go out there, go to YouTube.
• 39:36
I think you have to go reach new audiences and at the end of the
• 39:40
day, it's like we've seen some crazy runs on some points that
• 39:44
are Instagram TikTok native, like the fake Mr. BS coin.
• 39:49
Why? It's because people are learning
• 39:52
the way that people love to talk in in those platforms and
• 39:56
they're talking about things like, you know, no one bought
• 39:58
the fake Mr. BS coin because they thought it was going to
• 40:01
rug. They they bought it because they
• 40:03
were like, yo, this is Mr. BS. This is going to keep going up,
• 40:06
right. So then now you have someone
• 40:08
who. Is publicly committed to the
• 40:11
project, has an active community and I'm sure you guys have like
• 40:15
different ideas of the ways that you want to continue to grow the
• 40:19
community like you said you're gonna apply for the IP.
• 40:22
So I'm like, now it's more like, how do we get more eyes on this
• 40:28
initiative? And I think Twitter's great.
• 40:32
You guys have been on Twitter. Let's you know, you're on
• 40:34
YouTube, go more to YouTube, go to TikTok, go to Instagram, go
• 40:38
to threads. There are people there that like
• 40:41
crypto, crypto and mean coins are a very like Gen. see type of
• 40:45
product. I see a lot of Gen. seers going
• 40:47
to it. I'm seeing more and more 18 year
• 40:49
olds getting into mean coins. I've met people that are 1617
• 40:53
that are in new coins. So it's like, OK, build that
• 40:56
bill that, that community initiative to go out to other
• 41:03
platforms, create content around it, you know, and I think, I
• 41:07
think it's that it's like at the end of the day, the biggest
• 41:09
thing in crypto has always been the marketing issue that we
• 41:14
have. And I think, you know, for you,
• 41:16
Ron, it's like, I'm sure you're already getting so many, so many
• 41:20
requests to do this. But also if you maybe there's
• 41:23
companies that you're like, hey, they have a conference.
• 41:25
I would love to talk there, have the community message them,
• 41:29
message them yourself. And you know, if the community
• 41:31
is here listening, remember like Ron is just one person and Sis
• 41:35
is one person as well. So it's a, it's a big group
• 41:39
effort to do this. It's not only them.
• 41:42
It's like you guys have to do it together.
• 41:43
So, you know, if there's a conference happening, make a
• 41:46
list of all the conference, reach out to them and hopefully
• 41:50
like put yourself in status that can get more people to to put
• 41:54
eyes on you and what you're doing and your mission.
• 41:57
But you guys are awesome already.
• 41:58
So I'm also biased, but I think, you know, just to sum it up, I
• 42:02
think it's like more more distribution in terms of of eyes
• 42:06
and ears and what you guys are doing.
• 42:08
Yeah, 'cause we, we do, you know, like I didn't know what
• 42:11
crypto Twitter was. I didn't know anybody in, in, in
• 42:15
crypto. I didn't know what crypto
• 42:16
Twitter was 14 months ago now after a year, right, I'm very
• 42:20
familiar with crypto Twitter and it's I, I kind of call it like
• 42:24
our like for UFD like, and I think for a lot of crypto
• 42:27
projects as well. It's kind of like the town
• 42:29
square, right? It's like the central hub, you
• 42:32
know, we have discord now we do have Instagram, we do have
• 42:35
TikTok, obviously we have YouTube as well.
• 42:38
But the importance of getting the word out there to more and
• 42:43
more and more people that are outside of the crypto Twitter
• 42:46
bubble. I mean, it's very important and
• 42:48
it's it's an awesome what goes on on crypto Twitter.
• 42:51
And I think the other thing is like the community of UFD is, is
• 42:56
so passionate and feel so connected and they're really
• 43:00
quality people. GG I mean, everybody I meet like
• 43:03
it's like these are like from all walks of life, but one
• 43:07
common thread is just the high quality of the of the people
• 43:11
that we have and to get the word out outside of the crypto
• 43:14
Twitter bubble. I think that's the challenge,
• 43:16
but also the opportunity while at the same time, you know,
• 43:21
this, the this community, what's been built and and I'm somebody
• 43:25
referred to me bit boy J the other day as the spokesperson,
• 43:28
which I agree with, right? Like I'm kind of the
• 43:30
spokesperson. The I don't know, figurehead.
• 43:33
I'm technically the dev, but that was all of me filling in 4
• 43:37
fields on a pump fund form that we stick to and I and we do do
• 43:42
it every day, right? Like this idea that the good and
• 43:46
fair and transparent and reliability integrity, that
• 43:51
those things can win in crypto and can win in life in general,
• 43:55
but can also win in crypto because everything's so
• 43:58
transparent on crypto. So I'm optimistic.
• 44:01
I really appreciate you coming on with us today.
• 44:03
GG You know, like I said at the beginning, you were a, a
• 44:08
critical person for me early on in this project.
• 44:11
I was, I remember laying in my bed at 2:00 in the morning
• 44:14
talking to you on the phone about the Twitter account being
• 44:17
hacked. And you, you did so many nice,
• 44:19
great things for me as a person, but also for the UFD community
• 44:26
in those early days that that I think help steer us to where we
• 44:30
  are today. So thank you.
• 44:33
Yeah, of course. I honestly, I always loved, I
• 44:35
don't remember who was. I just remember I bought the
• 44:38
coin and then someone messaged me and they because I just
• 44:42
remember like, like the deck Screener was hacked.
• 44:44
So even UFD wasn't showing the right UFD was showing some
• 44:48
Penguin AI thing. And I remember the next day I
• 44:52
was like, what the hell, like why is this happening?
• 44:54
And then the next day someone messaged me and they're like,
• 44:56
oh, this is the person. That's the YouTube guy.
• 44:59
And I remember I, I reached out and you were like, Oh my God,
• 45:03
there's so many scammers messaging me right now, right?
• 45:06
Like everyone was trying to get you.
• 45:08
And I was like, OK, Ron, this is what we're going to do.
• 45:13
But yeah, I mean, it's been such an incredible journey.
• 45:15
And I always, I don't know, I, I always look to him like he looks
• 45:19
like a trustworthy person and he looks like he's actually here.
• 45:22
And I think like, you know, regardless, you've done so much
• 45:25
for your community. I'm sure they're so appreciative
• 45:28
of how committed you are to the project, how you show up every
• 45:31
day. So I mean, my flowers to you
• 45:33
because your, your commitment, your discipline and the way that
• 45:38
you show up in this industry is incredible.
• 45:41
And, and we need more of that. So, you know, I'm, I'm always a,
• 45:45
I'm always a duster in heart. So you know, I'm always here.
• 45:50
I told you I was going to have you on on my stream as well.
• 45:53
And technically we, we got, we got each other on both because
• 45:57
they can see you right now. Yours can see me.
• 46:00
And I'm just happy. I'm just happy to be here.
• 46:03
And I'm, you know, any way that I can always support, just let
• 46:05
me know. You know, I, I love the UFD
• 46:07
community. You and Sissy are incredible
• 46:09
people and you deserve the world.
• 46:11
So. Yeah, and, and, and you know
• 46:13
what? The the reality is really
• 46:16
simple, Gigi. I mean, I spawned UFD or created
• 46:20
it developer, whatever, But I'm not here without the community.
• 46:25
Yeah. And really from day one, I mean,
• 46:27
I think technically UFD was ACTO from day one.
• 46:31
You know, I only own less than or maybe a little over 1% at the
• 46:36
  very beginning. It was.
• 46:37
I mean, you know, I was. UFD is just another one of the
• 46:42
12 million meme coins that I think technically died last year
• 46:46
without the community like taking it over.
• 46:49
And, and I think that's a powerful force, you know, in the
• 46:53
world of, of the blockchain, in the world of cryptocurrency,
• 46:58
that, that a community can actually create something that's
• 47:02
led to this, right where you and I are talking here 14 months
• 47:05
later and, and talking about a really bright future.
• 47:09
And you know, again, I'll say it one last time.
• 47:12
Thank you. I think the world of you.
• 47:15
And if there's ever anything I can do or the community can do
• 47:18
to help you out, let us know because I consider you a friend
• 47:22
and it was great to meet you in person.
• 47:24
I thought super highly. I told Susie this is that I
• 47:26
thought really highly of Gigi before before I went to Paris
• 47:31
for the Ledger Nano Gen. 5 reveal event.
• 47:36
And after getting to spend some time around you, I, I came home,
• 47:40
I said she is really, really, really a good person, right?
• 47:44
She's smart. You know, she's got she's got
• 47:46
everything, but she's a very good person is the sense I came
• 47:51
away with. So it's an honor to know you I.
• 47:54
Appreciate you, Ron. Honored to know you too and to
• 47:58
the community that's been in the chat, amazing community.
• 48:01
Thank you so much to everyone. Keep both posting USD keep keep,
• 48:07
you know, stick with it. Like think about all those coins
• 48:11
that took years and years and now they're now they're top ten
• 48:14
right now they're top 10. So, I mean, the more people that
• 48:18
join the mission, the faster it happens.
• 48:21
Yeah. Thank you so much for having me.
• 48:23
I won't take more of your time. Love the setup.
• 48:26
Loving the setup. Bitboy J is AG.
• 48:28
  He really. He is.
• 48:30
He is him. He's been a huge supporter.
• 48:32
He's, like, always on my feet. Always on my feet.
• 48:35
Yeah. But yeah, love you guys and
• 48:38
thank you so much for having me, Ron and I hope we do this again.
• 48:41
OK, Let's not take that long to do it again.
• 48:43
  All right. Thank you, Gigi.
• 48:45
I love your setup too. Right.
• 48:46
OK, enjoy. Enjoy Hawaii and we will.
• 48:49
We'll see you soon. Thank you.
• 48:52
  Thank you. Bye, Ron.
• 48:53
  Bye CC, Bye community. Bye.
• 48:55
  Bye, everybody. Yep.
• 48:56
Thanks for being here. See you, Gigi.
