- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. Over the past eight or nine months, the
- 0:08Congressional Oversight Committee looking into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal has
- 0:12had a revolving door of people coming in to have
- 0:15a chat. Well, today, Tuesday, June ninth, twenty twenty six,
- 0:21that revolving door swings again, and this time it's Leslie
- 0:25Groff who's on deck. And while there's never been any
- 0:28accusation that Leslie Groff took part in any abuse, I
- 0:33don't think there's any doubt that she was a key
- 0:36cog in the Epstein machine. And without Leslie Groff, Jeffrey
- 0:39Epstein couldn't have done what he did. But here's the
- 0:42big problem. The government never charged Jeffrey Epstein with RICO.
- 0:47So if it wasn't a recal operation in the government's size,
- 0:50then how can they charge Leslie Groff? They can, And
- 0:54like I told you from the very beginning, that was
- 0:57all by design. This has never been about get to
- 1:00the bottom of anything. And I hate to say it,
- 1:03this committee is no different. Their goal isn't to figure
- 1:07out what happened and hold people accountable. Their goal is
- 1:10to control the blast radius, and unfortunately they've done a
- 1:13pretty good job. I mean, the topic certainly doesn't have
- 1:16the momentum that it had before. Everybody's talking about Iran.
- 1:20Everybody's talking about this, that or the other thing. Meanwhile,
- 1:23these scumbags are happy as hell, swimming around in their
- 1:26money like Scrooge McDuck and screwing the rest of us. Still,
- 1:30But I mean, what does that matter with all the
- 1:32winning that's going on with Iran? Right? I mean, how
- 1:34can we stomach all this winning? I mean, is there
- 1:36a more jubulant feeling than paying ninety bucks to fill
- 1:39up your sedan? I mean, not to very too far
- 1:41off course here, but what did we gain? What was
- 1:44gained by the whole entire thing in Iran? But putting
- 1:48some distance between the Epstein files and the administration, do
- 1:53you really think they're not gonna have nuclear weapons anymore?
- 1:55All this is is Obama two point zero. But I
- 1:58guess it's okay this time because you know your guy.
- 2:02Today's article is from The Guardian and the headline Jeffrey
- 2:05Epstein assistant Leslie Groff set to testify before the House panel.
- 2:10This article was authored by Anna Betts. Leslie Groff, Jeffrey
- 2:14Epstein's longtime executive assistant, is testifying on Tuesday before the
- 2:19House Oversight and Reform Committee as lawmakers on the panel
- 2:23continued their investigation into the late convicted sex offender. And
- 2:26do we really think that Leslie Groff doesn't have a
- 2:28story to tell. She most certainly does. She knows the who's,
- 2:33the whys, the whens, and the wares, and up until
- 2:37this point she hasn't come forward and talked about any
- 2:41of it. Groff worked for Epstein for almost twenty years,
- 2:46beginning in two thousand and one and ending in July
- 2:49twenty nineteen, when he was arrested. Notes from a twenty
- 2:52twenty one FBI interview with Groff, which was included in
- 2:56the millions of documents related to Epstein released by the
- 2:59Department Adjusts earlier this year, state that she told the
- 3:02agents that she began working for Epstein after she was
- 3:05contacted by a headhunter who found her resume and told
- 3:08her that there was a job to organize one man's life.
- 3:13And Okay, I get it. That sounds like a great job, right,
- 3:16But once you're there and you see what's going on,
- 3:20all those excuses go out. The window. Let's not act
- 3:23like you're being forced to do this. She had no
- 3:26problem doing this job because she was being rewarded handsomely,
- 3:30a lot of money, a lot of prestige, use of
- 3:33Jeffrey Epstein's jets, his apartments, all of it, and that allure.
- 3:38It draws people in and people who are willing to
- 3:41go to great lengths to try to rationalize that kind
- 3:44of shit with themselves as long as they're benefiting monetarily
- 3:48or in other ways. What do they care about these kids?
- 3:51What do they care about these women from Russia? Not
- 3:55their problem? Right? The man turned out to be Jeffrey Epstein.
- 4:00Groff told agents that she had not previously heard of them.
- 4:03She said that she interviewed with several people for the position,
- 4:06including Epstein and Glene Maxwell, Epstein's longtime associate who's currently
- 4:11serving a twenty year prison sentence for sex trafficking crimes.
- 4:15According to the FBI document, Groff said that she signed
- 4:19a non disclosure agreement. Well, yeah, they all do, they
- 4:22all did, but that shit doesn't mean anything in criminal court.
- 4:28Criminal court is where NDA is going to die. So
- 4:31the NDA that's going to protect you from embarrassing you know,
- 4:35talk in public. That's not going to protect you from
- 4:38a federal investigation, or at least it shouldn't. But when
- 4:42it comes to people like Jeffrey Epstein, of course different
- 4:45rules right rules for them and then rules for us.
- 4:50The document states that Groff told agents that her responsibilities
- 4:53included scheduling meetings, making phone calls, coordinating with Epstein's driver
- 4:58in chef and other people, and managing much of his
- 5:01daily schedule and appointments. According to the FBI notes, Groff
- 5:06told investigators that from the beginning, massage was part of
- 5:09Epstein's day. They were normal appointments. Groff's job was to
- 5:14make appointments. The FBI notes say to Groff, making massage
- 5:17appointments was just another appointment she made for Epstein, adding
- 5:22that Epstein would call Groff in the morning and say
- 5:25something like, call and see if she can do a
- 5:27massage at fourteen. You know what. That's all fine and well,
- 5:32but when you're calling a high school girl, I would
- 5:35think that you know what's going on? Now She'll say,
- 5:38I had no idea how old she was. But how
- 5:41many of you believe that? Do you really think that
- 5:44these people that were working together, that were in Epstein's
- 5:48orbit didn't talk. They knew what was going on. They
- 5:52all chose to look the other way. That's my opinion,
- 5:55and I think the contemporaneous facts back that up. But
- 5:58the hard part is, how do you prove that. You
- 6:01can't prove that in a court of law. Right, So
- 6:04unless you charge them with RICO, there's nothing you can do.
- 6:08Your hands are tied as law enforcement. In recent years,
- 6:12Groff has faced public scrutiny after it emerged that she
- 6:15was among four women identified as possible co conspirators and
- 6:19granted immunity from prosecution under Epstein's controversial two thousand and
- 6:23seven plea deal with federal prosecutors in Florida. So if
- 6:27she wasn't a co conspirator, why did they give her immunity?
- 6:32Please stop insulting our intelligence. Holy fuck. When asked last
- 6:37month about Graff's knowledge of details surrounding Epstein's two thousand
- 6:41and eight conviction, her attorney Michael Backner, told the Guardian
- 6:45that after Epstein's arrest in two thousand and eight, he
- 6:48continuously lied to Leslie and other members of the staff,
- 6:51insisting that he had been blackmailed and set up. So
- 6:55you believe it. Just take him at face value. The
- 6:58government was in on it. Everybody was fucking Jeffrey Epstein.
- 7:01That's the deal. I mean, it's a good excuse, but
- 7:06no competent person's buying it. If I was working for
- 7:09somebody and they got nailed for picking up little girls
- 7:13and then called them a prostitute, the second I heard
- 7:16the news, I would quit, have a little bit of integrity, Like,
- 7:21I understand, we have bills to pay, and yeah, there's
- 7:23other jobs, there's other shit to do, and there's other
- 7:27people to work for. But for twenty years, well, Leslie
- 7:32Groff had no desire to do any of that. Backner
- 7:36added that Epstein angrily said that the allegations against him
- 7:39were simply false and he had no idea that the
- 7:42prostitute he had contact with was a minor, adding that
- 7:45in Leslie's mind, that was the reason that he was
- 7:48treated so leniently by law enforcement before and after he
- 7:51was sentenced. Like, you don't go to an escort a
- 7:56professional somebody that wants to be doing what they're doing, because,
- 8:00believe me, I have no problem with people who want
- 8:03to engage in, you know, sex work. I don't care
- 8:06not my business. Nothing I do. But I'm not everybody else,
- 8:11and not everybody else is me, and not everybody has
- 8:13the same moral compass. I get that, and I'm certainly
- 8:16not somebody that gives a shit what anybody does in
- 8:18their bedroom. But the whole story here about how she
- 8:21had no idea about how he was being blackmailed. Who
- 8:26buys that? Does anybody out there really buy that? And
- 8:29to tell you the truth, I highly doubt that twelve
- 8:32jurors would buy it either. Imagine being a jur getting
- 8:36all the evidence in a RICO case and then Leslie
- 8:39Groff telling you she doesn't know. I don't think that
- 8:42would work out. For In fact, what you would see
- 8:46is everybody turning on everybody else, and that is why
- 8:50we don't have Rico. The Epstein files released by the
- 8:56Justice Department also included an internal FBI document from twenty
- 9:00nineteen that list eight people as possible co conspirators, including Groff.
- 9:05In a statement to NBC News earlier this year, Groff's
- 9:09lawyer said that she'd never seen the document and was
- 9:12unaware of it. Well, that's because they never pursued it.
- 9:15There was never a real investigation. Just like I told you,
- 9:19saw those dumb motherfuckers out there that cry and bitch
- 9:21and moan, and we're on bullshit narratives that this has
- 9:24all been investigated. They're liars, the whole last lot of them,
- 9:28a bunch of propaganda push in punk ass liars. In fact,
- 9:35neither Leslie nor counsel were ever notified by law enforcement
- 9:38that she was considered an Epstein co conspirator, her lawyer said.
- 9:42On the contrary, after Leslie voluntarily spoke with prosecutors and
- 9:46answered each and every question asked of her, she was
- 9:48told that she was not being prosecuted. Well that's a
- 9:52big problem too, Do you guys not get it. It's
- 9:54not just about what Epstein did, It's about what the
- 9:56government did. And I wish people would just wake up
- 10:01and see the forest through the trees here. Whenever we
- 10:03have a Republican administration, the Democrats, well they can't wait
- 10:08to tell you how much they don't trust the government. Meanwhile,
- 10:13you have all the people that were just telling us
- 10:15under Biden that the government can't be trusted, Well, they're
- 10:18all big time fans of the government now, and the
- 10:20government's doing the right thing, and the storm's gathering, and
- 10:24where we go one we go all. The truth is,
- 10:29the government doesn't give a fuck about you, and it
- 10:32doesn't matter what party's in power. And the sooner you
- 10:35guys wise up to that shit, the better off we're
- 10:37all gonna be. Do you think these people really care
- 10:40about you while you're fighting with all your friends or
- 10:44not inviting your cousin Jodah Christmas because he has a
- 10:47different political view than you. Meanwhile, all these people behind
- 10:50the scenes, they're living it up. You ever hear a
- 10:53k fabe and wrestling. They may pretend their enemies right,
- 10:58but behind the scenes, obviously it's all fake and their
- 11:01friends sam in politics, these people despise you, so why
- 11:06in the hell would you run cover for them? Why
- 11:09in the hell would you defend their bullshit on a
- 11:11regular basis. Groff's name also appeared in a twenty twenty
- 11:18FBI interview with a survivor of Epstein's abuse, in which
- 11:21the person whose name is redacted said that they felt
- 11:25like Groff knew what was going on and knew the
- 11:27massage appointments were sexual, but the person acknowledged that they
- 11:30never said anything to Leslie about the massages. Following Epstein's death,
- 11:35Groff along with several other employees and associates of Epstein,
- 11:39was named in several civil lawsuits filed by survivors against
- 11:43Epstein and his estate. Some plaintiffs accused her of facilitating
- 11:47his abuse. Groff's attorney has said that she never engaged
- 11:52in any misconduct and never knowingly made travel arrangements for
- 11:55anyone under eighteen. The civil claims against Groff were later dismissed. Yeah, well,
- 12:01what about travel arrangements for women who are being trafficked?
- 12:04Ever make those? Did you ever schedule a flight for
- 12:08somebody to come from point A the point B, crossing
- 12:12state lines or international lines with the express purpose of
- 12:16them being abused or used for sex? Well, then congratulations,
- 12:20you're now part of the conspiracy. Her lawyer has also
- 12:25said the allegations against Groff in civil suits simply wrong, confused,
- 12:30and devoid of any facts establishing that she had any
- 12:33idea of Epstein's horrible and nefarious conduct. Groff was subpoenaed
- 12:38by the House Committee in March to appear before the
- 12:40panel for an interview. Due to public reporting documents released
- 12:44by the Department of Justice and documents obtained by the committee,
- 12:48the committee believes you have information that will assist in
- 12:52its investigation, the letter from Representative James Comer, the Republican
- 12:56who chairs the committee, reads. Last month, another one of
- 13:00Epstein's former assistants, Sarah Kellen, also testified before the House
- 13:04Committee as part of their investigation. In her testimony, Kellen
- 13:08denied she was an accomplice of Epstein and said that
- 13:11she was sexually and psychologically abused by the late financier
- 13:15during her employment. And look, like I've said, I have
- 13:19no doubt that Sarah Kelln was abused. That doesn't give
- 13:22her immunity from the shit she did, though, And unless
- 13:25she provides some actionable intelligence on somebody, well she should
- 13:29be right up there with everybody else when it comes
- 13:32to investigations. And now that we're done with the Pam
- 13:34Bondi transcript, we're going to be diving in to the
- 13:38Sarah Kelln transcript. We'll see what she had to say.
- 13:41And then after their released this Leslie Groff transcript, well
- 13:44we'll be diving into that bad boy too. So until then,
- 13:47that's going to do it for this one. All the
- 13:49information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 13:52the description box.
