- 1:58Speaker 1: That's selectquote.com slash Vince. Yeah, the president of the United
- 2:08Speaker 1: States took to the campaign trail yesterday. I guess technically
- 2:11Speaker 1: it's not the campaign trail, but technically it is the
- 2:13Speaker 1: campaign trails. The president of the United States visiting important
- 2:16Speaker 1: states like Kentucky and Ohio and speaking with his base.
- 2:21Speaker 1: He shows up yesterday to these big crowds, talks to
- 2:24Speaker 1: them about the state of our economy, talks to them
- 2:26Speaker 1: about the war in Iran, and talks to them about
- 2:28Speaker 1: the Save America Act again. And Look, let me say,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you know, as a show and as a person who
- 2:36Speaker 1: routinely criticizes the Republicans in Congress, especially in the Senate
- 2:42Speaker 1: these days, for not fulfilling what we sent them there
- 2:46Speaker 1: to do. In the end, if Republicans do well in
- 2:48Speaker 1: the midterms, a lot of that's going to be on
- 2:50Speaker 1: the strength of President Trump's performance. President Trump might have
- 2:53Speaker 1: to be the one that drags everybody across the finish
- 2:55Speaker 1: line here to grow numbers for Republicans or at the
- 2:58Speaker 1: very least maintain control in the House and the Senate.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And he's showing no signs of backing down. So the
- 3:04Speaker 1: rest of us shouldn't either. You should fight no matter
- 3:07Speaker 1: what the outcomes are here from this stupid Senate. We'll
- 3:09Speaker 1: talk about that coming up. But the reality here is
- 3:12Speaker 1: you got to stay in the fight. The president definitely is.
- 3:14Speaker 1: He's on the campaign trail all year this year. He's
- 3:17Speaker 1: going to be out there trying to make it so
- 3:18Speaker 1: that his name is kind of the thing that people
- 3:21Speaker 1: are thinking of when they step into the ballot box
- 3:23Speaker 1: and that they vote for him and for his agenda,
- 3:26Speaker 1: just like we keep doing over and over and over again.
- 3:30Speaker 1: In fact, Coming up this summer, I just want to
- 3:32Speaker 1: remind people of what's on the calendar ahead of us.
- 3:35Speaker 1: We're at America 250. You know this. This is the
- 3:38Speaker 1: 250th anniversary of the United States of America. We're going
- 3:41Speaker 1: to have massive events all through the year. We've already
- 3:43Speaker 1: had a bunch of massive events, and it's only going
- 3:46Speaker 1: to get better. I mean, just think of it. We've
- 3:47Speaker 1: got the big UFC fight coming up on June 14th.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's Flag Day. That's the Army's birthday. That's the President's birthday.
- 3:54Speaker 1: It's going to take place right there at the White
- 3:56Speaker 1: House later in the year. We've got the big car
- 4:01Speaker 1: race that was at Formula One, a big race around Washington, D.C.
- 4:06Speaker 1: through the streets of the city. It's going to be
- 4:08Speaker 1: amazing as these cars get upwards of 200 miles an
- 4:11Speaker 1: hour just driving through the streets of our nation's capital.
- 4:14Speaker 1: An amazing performance that wouldn't happen under any other president.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Very cool to see that. And of course, July 4th itself,
- 4:20Speaker 1: Independence Day. We're going to have a massive, massive, actually,
- 4:22Speaker 1: as Doug Burgum told us on this program, and if
- 4:25Speaker 1: you missed it, you missed it. Although you can go
- 4:27Speaker 1: back and you can watch it. Doug Burgum said right
- 4:29Speaker 1: here exclusively on this program that this is going to
- 4:32Speaker 1: be the biggest firework show in, not American history, world history.
- 4:38Speaker 1: He said, world history. That's how committed they are to
- 4:42Speaker 1: the celebration of America. So we have that through the
- 4:44Speaker 1: midterms this year. Also, for Republicans this year, the president
- 4:48Speaker 1: is going to hold a midterm convention. The RNC's already
- 4:51Speaker 1: got it in the works. This was the president's idea.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Why don't we turn this into a presidential style election year,
- 4:58Speaker 1: which is what they're going to do. And so they'll
- 4:59Speaker 1: have a big midterm convention this year to really celebrate
- 5:05Speaker 1: the achievements of the Trump administration and convince voters. Yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 1: this is your guy. Keep going with the Trump administration.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Keep going with the Trump agenda. That's great. Now, what
- 5:13Speaker 1: about Democrats? Are Democrats going to hold a midterm convention?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Great question. The answer is no.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Actually.
- 5:22Speaker 1: They made a decision like a week ago against holding
- 5:25Speaker 1: a midterm convention. They claim that they're trying to protect
- 5:27Speaker 1: the war chest. They got to use it for other things.
- 5:29Speaker 1: We can't use it for a midterm convention. They're in
- 5:32Speaker 1: chaos right now. As far as their political organization, they're
- 5:35Speaker 1: in total chaos. They don't know what to do in
- 5:37Speaker 1: the face of this. Everything about President Trump is totally
- 5:40Speaker 1: unprecedented here, and they just don't know how to handle them.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So no, they are not holding a midterm convention. That is...
- 5:48Speaker 1: I think good news, because that means that, you know,
- 5:50Speaker 1: whatever excuse the media might give to giving them even
- 5:53Speaker 1: more coverage is not going to exist. And we'll have
- 5:57Speaker 1: a Republican convention. Now, will the media cover it? We'll see.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I mean, we'll get some coverage. But the nice thing is,
- 6:02Speaker 1: these days, we don't really need the legacy media to
- 6:04Speaker 1: do it. There's plenty of great independent media options like, well,
- 6:08Speaker 1: right here. I mean, there's lots of places that could
- 6:11Speaker 1: cover this in a fulsome way and tell you exactly
- 6:13Speaker 1: what's going on at the convention and get the message out.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So that'll be good. I think that'll be very good
- 6:18Speaker 1: this year. It'll be very good. So the president is
- 6:21Speaker 1: going to fight tooth and nail to win because that's
- 6:24Speaker 1: his style. But what about the rest of these guys in, say,
- 6:27Speaker 1: the United States Senate? Well, that brings us to our
- 6:30Speaker 1: latest on the SAVE Act. Let's get to the SAVE
- 6:33Speaker 1: America Act. Should we gavel in today? Let's gavel in.
- 6:36Speaker 1: There we go. The Save America Act. We've gaveled into
- 6:40Speaker 1: today's daily meeting. Of course, producer Jim will keep our minutes,
- 6:43Speaker 1: as he always does. And the president of the United
- 6:45Speaker 1: States yesterday brings this up on the trail. He says, look,
- 6:50Speaker 1: I need the Save America Act. And he brought it
- 6:52Speaker 1: up multiple times yesterday. Here's cut one the first time.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Watch.
- 6:55Speaker 4: It's a very basic thing.
- 6:57Speaker 5: It's called Save America, actually.
- 6:59Speaker 4: And that's what it is. It's having to do with
- 7:01Speaker 4: voting and voter ID. We want voter ID. We want
- 7:04Speaker 4: proof of citizenship. We added a couple. No men playing
- 7:08Speaker 4: in women's sports.
- 7:09Speaker 1: We don't want that. Nobody does.
- 7:10Speaker 4: I think it's about a 98 percent issue. We want
- 7:14Speaker 4: no transgender mutilation of our children. Very basic things that
- 7:19Speaker 4: you wouldn't even think we'd be talking about 15 or
- 7:21Speaker 4: 20 years ago. But for the voting aspect of it
- 7:25Speaker 4: is we want voter ID.
- 7:26Speaker 6: Very important.
- 7:27Speaker 4: You have to have identification and you have to have
- 7:29Speaker 4: proof of citizenship. We don't want mail in ballots. We
- 7:33Speaker 4: don't want to have ballots coming from all different corners
- 7:36Speaker 4: of the world. We want to have it accurate. And
- 7:39Speaker 4: you can't do that with mail in ballots. Actually, Jimmy
- 7:41Speaker 4: Carter headed a commission years ago. He said mail in ballots.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Now that we're the only country in the world that's
- 7:46Speaker 4: doing mail in ballots. And that would exclude, though, our
- 7:51Speaker 4: military or.
- 7:52Speaker 3: People that are ill, people that are away.
- 7:54Speaker 4: So we're generous in that way. But people don't want
- 7:57Speaker 4: mail-in ballots because you have crooked elections. It guarantees a
- 8:00Speaker 4: crooked election.
- 8:02Speaker 1: By the way, for those of you watching rubble.com slash Vince,
- 8:05Speaker 1: that local news reporter who's standing there. You can tell
- 8:08Speaker 1: he's nervous. He doesn't know what to do. He's standing
- 8:10Speaker 1: next to the president of the United States. The president
- 8:12Speaker 1: is just straight up monologuing on the Save America Act.
- 8:14Speaker 1: And the guy's just nodding. He just nods a lot
- 8:16Speaker 1: and keeps holding the microphone out, which is good.
- 8:18Speaker 6: It's good.
- 8:19Speaker 1: It's perfectly great. But it's just, it's wonderful. And he's
- 8:22Speaker 1: wearing his best suit. He's got his best tie on.
- 8:24Speaker 1: He's meeting the president, showing a sense of respect. That's
- 8:26Speaker 1: pretty cool. But the president, he was right about all
- 8:29Speaker 1: of that. But there's something I want to dwell on
- 8:31Speaker 1: in what he just said. He said, you know, Jimmy
- 8:32Speaker 1: Carter said this. Jimmy Carter said mail-in ballots, not the
- 8:34Speaker 1: way to go. That's a terrible way to do it.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And he's right about that. Jimmy Carter did say that
- 8:38Speaker 1: this was a part of something called the Carter-Baker Commission
- 8:42Speaker 1: in the early 2000s. It was a bipartisan commission that
- 8:45Speaker 1: looked at the way we conduct elections in the United
- 8:47Speaker 1: States and made recommendations to every state about the way
- 8:50Speaker 1: they conduct their elections. And Jimmy Carter had concluded that
- 8:54Speaker 1: one of the primary vectors for fraud in the United States,
- 8:57Speaker 1: one of the biggest vulnerabilities to our elections, is the
- 9:00Speaker 1: use of mail-in ballots. In other words, the mysterious custody
- 9:05Speaker 1: of a ballot increases the likeliness that that becomes a
- 9:10Speaker 1: really dangerous vector for fraud. In fact, what we should
- 9:14Speaker 1: do as frequently as possible is have people vote in
- 9:16Speaker 1: person on election day with paper ballots and use photo
- 9:22Speaker 1: ID clear lines of process, in other words. To make
- 9:28Speaker 1: it so that our elections are safeguarded. Jimmy Carter concluded that. Now,
- 9:32Speaker 1: you won't hear any Democrat speak fondly about Jimmy Carter's
- 9:37Speaker 1: legacy when it comes to his recommendations for voting ever, ever.
- 9:42Speaker 1: even upon his death recently. Nobody brought it up. They
- 9:45Speaker 1: didn't talk about it. They didn't actually eulogize some of
- 9:48Speaker 1: the things that he believed in. And clearly, that was
- 9:50Speaker 1: one of the things he believed in, was election integrity.
- 9:52Speaker 1: He was a part of a bipartisan effort with some
- 9:54Speaker 1: very good recommendations to bring it about. So good for
- 9:57Speaker 1: President Trump for reminding everybody, this is non stuff. The
- 10:01Speaker 1: whole country supports it. Jimmy Carter was a guy who
- 10:05Speaker 1: absolutely recommended it. And yet the media, as they do,
- 10:09Speaker 1: George Orwell style, they memory hole.
- 10:12Speaker 7: All of it.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Either they're too young and wet behind the ears, they
- 10:15Speaker 1: don't know anything about it, or they straight up memory
- 10:18Speaker 1: hole it. It's deceit. And the president needs to be
- 10:21Speaker 1: the guy to remind everybody. That reporter is nodding along. Okay,
- 10:24Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter, who's that? It was pretty funny. All right,
- 10:29Speaker 1: President Trump. And he's increasing pressure on the Senate. Here's
- 10:32Speaker 1: President Trump yesterday saying, we've got to get the Senate
- 10:35Speaker 1: to do this. But pay attention to his tone here
- 10:37Speaker 1: because he starts to sound like a guy who's concerned
- 10:40Speaker 1: that it's not going to make it through the Senate.
- 10:42Speaker 1: It's a little depressing, but here's the president talking about
- 10:45Speaker 1: it yesterday. Cut to, I'll let him talk about it.
- 10:48Speaker 5: All voters. must show voter ID.
- 10:52Speaker 8: 98%.
- 10:55Speaker 5: That's 98%. All voters must show a little thing called
- 11:04Speaker 5: proof of citizenship.
- 11:06Speaker 8: In order to vote.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Right?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Right, Paul?
- 11:11Speaker 5: Paul agrees. No mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military,
- 11:20Speaker 5: or travel.
- 11:21Speaker 4: You're away.
- 11:21Speaker 5: You can't get there. We'll be generous. And then I
- 11:28Speaker 5: added two things. We call them best of. You know
- 11:30Speaker 5: what they are? Best of Trump. These are the best of.
- 11:34Speaker 5: No men in women's sports.
- 11:35Speaker 3: 99%.
- 11:36Speaker 5: That's 99%. And no transgender mutilization surgery for our children.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That's it. That's it.
- 11:56Speaker 5: And I think we're going to get it approved in
- 11:58Speaker 5: the House.
- 11:59Speaker 4: And I hear the Senate has a hard time.
- 12:01Speaker 8: How can you have a hard time with that?
- 12:04Speaker 4: How can you have a hard time?
- 12:07Speaker 1: I hear the Senate has a hard time. How can
- 12:09Speaker 1: you have a hard time with that? That's a great question. Now,
- 12:12Speaker 1: before I move on, I want to make a quick
- 12:13Speaker 1: correction to something I said earlier. I said Formula One.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I meant IndyCar. Thank you to producer Josh for being
- 12:20Speaker 1: our ombudsman today. IndyCar. IndyCar is what's happening later this year.
- 12:24Speaker 1: That makes a lot more sense, actually. IndyCar for the
- 12:26Speaker 1: United States of America coming up later this year. But
- 12:30Speaker 1: when it comes to the Save America Act, the president
- 12:35Speaker 1: is concerned that this is going to be a problem
- 12:38Speaker 1: in the United States Senate. John Thune said, has been
- 12:41Speaker 1: basically trying to make this whole thing go away. We
- 12:43Speaker 1: heard from Johnson earlier this week, very patronizing attitude towards
- 12:46Speaker 1: both the president of the United States and the MAGA
- 12:50Speaker 1: base that, oh, you just are, you're overly optimistic about
- 12:54Speaker 1: what can be achieved here. There's just no way to
- 12:56Speaker 1: do it. We just don't have the votes. Now, Thune has, again,
- 12:58Speaker 1: not indicated whether or not he's even tried to get
- 13:01Speaker 1: the votes and, in fact, has withheld his own opinion
- 13:06Speaker 1: on the subject of whether or not we should use
- 13:08Speaker 1: the speaking filibuster as the means to pass the Save
- 13:12Speaker 1: America Act. So soon, as far as any of the
- 13:15Speaker 1: rest of us can tell, really has been dragging ass
- 13:18Speaker 1: on this and just trying to make it go away.
- 13:20Speaker 1: And so here you have the president going, you know,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I'm hearing that the Senate's having a hard time. I'm
- 13:24Speaker 1: hearing the Senate's having a hard time. But How did
- 13:28Speaker 1: we get to this point? How did we get to
- 13:29Speaker 1: this point at all that the Senate is now trying
- 13:32Speaker 1: to figure out a way to navigate away from the
- 13:34Speaker 1: president of the United States, that they're sweating this? Well,
- 13:38Speaker 1: you know, we talked about Ken Paxton and John Cornyn
- 13:41Speaker 1: and what's going on in Texas right now. And we
- 13:44Speaker 1: just got an update on that story. Kind of interesting.
- 13:46Speaker 1: It's from a couple of sources that are all close
- 13:48Speaker 1: to President Trump who kind of kept an eye on this.
- 13:50Speaker 1: This is according to the New York Times. How Trump
- 13:53Speaker 1: turned a Republican battle over a Texas Senate seat into leverage.
- 13:57Speaker 1: It's a fun story, actually. They talked about how President
- 14:01Speaker 1: Trump spent months getting squeezed by top Senate Republicans to
- 14:05Speaker 1: endorse John Cornyn. And they say now it's suddenly Mr.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Trump doing the squeezing. Just a week ago, he seemed
- 14:13Speaker 1: like he was on the verge of endorsing John Cornyn
- 14:15Speaker 1: after Republicans spent more than $ 70 million on pro-Cornyn ads.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Can you imagine? $ 70 million. You know where that money goes?
- 14:24Speaker 1: It goes to the media. The media get the money.
- 14:26Speaker 1: to run the advertisement. For John Cornyn, in the first
- 14:31Speaker 1: round of the Texas primary, that ended with him and Mr.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Paxton heading to a May runoff because Cornyn couldn't get
- 14:37Speaker 1: above 50%. That's amazing. It's a real sign what Texas
- 14:41Speaker 1: voters want. They want change.
- 14:44Speaker 9: Mr.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Trump said on social media that he would make an
- 14:46Speaker 1: endorsement soon and that the candidate didn't get his nod
- 14:49Speaker 1: should drop out. Then Mr. Paxton made a bold play,
- 14:52Speaker 1: the Times says. In a post on X, he said, okay,
- 14:55Speaker 1: I'll consider dropping out, but only if Senate Republicans circumvent
- 14:59Speaker 1: the filibuster to pass Mr. Trump's top legislative priority. Okay,
- 15:03Speaker 1: the New York Times is getting this wrong. It's not
- 15:07Speaker 1: circumvent the filibuster. There are options here to do this,
- 15:11Speaker 1: and you can do a speaking filibuster and get it through.
- 15:15Speaker 1: But that's neither here nor there. They said the gambit
- 15:17Speaker 1: quickly went viral with some of the most influential voices
- 15:20Speaker 1: on the right amplifying it, including the president's son. That
- 15:24Speaker 1: was Don Jr. who said that.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Remember?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Ken Paxton did not leave it to chance that Mr.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Trump himself would see his message, according to two people
- 15:32Speaker 1: with knowledge of the matter. He texted it directly to
- 15:35Speaker 1: the president himself. Smart. And now Mr. Trump is leveraging
- 15:40Speaker 1: his potential endorsement. which Senate Republicans long for to ratchet
- 15:44Speaker 1: up the pressure on them to change the Senate's rules
- 15:48Speaker 1: and to pass the bill. Okay, again, the New York
- 15:52Speaker 1: Times gets this wrong. He's ratcheting up the pressure to
- 15:55Speaker 1: pass it by any means necessary, whether that's changing the
- 15:57Speaker 1: Senate's rules or using the speaking filibuster, which require a
- 16:02Speaker 1: simple majority. Why do you know so much more about
- 16:05Speaker 1: this than the New York Times?
- 16:07Speaker 10: Mr.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Cornyn, still pursuing the president's blessing, reversed his long held
- 16:12Speaker 1: position that the filibuster should be protected in an opinion
- 16:15Speaker 1: piece for The New York Post on Wednesday. Yeah, Cornyn,
- 16:19Speaker 1: his staff wrote an op ed for The New York
- 16:21Speaker 1: Post this week now saying that whatever it takes, we
- 16:24Speaker 1: should get this thing passed because he's sweating like crazy
- 16:28Speaker 1: that he's about to be thrown out of the Senate.
- 16:31Speaker 1: And so they say what began as a fight over
- 16:32Speaker 1: a single C in Texas has since spilled into the
- 16:36Speaker 1: halls of Congress with potential implications for voting access nationwide.
- 16:40Speaker 1: The New York Times once again lying. No American would
- 16:43Speaker 1: have their, quote, voting access deprived. Illegal aliens, non-citizens would
- 16:49Speaker 1: be prevented from interfering in our elections. That's what would happen.
- 16:54Speaker 1: So a mixture of deceit and very interesting details about
- 16:58Speaker 1: how the president did indeed see this as a great opportunity.
- 17:01Speaker 1: And God bless Ken Paxton. A round of applause for
- 17:04Speaker 1: Ken Paxton, ladies and gentlemen. I have applause here somewhere.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I know I do. Oh, here it is. Yeah, Ken Paxton, everybody.
- 17:12Speaker 1: That's an enthusiastic crowd. Yeah, Ken, everyone's happy. Yeah, Ken
- 17:18Speaker 1: Paxton did a good thing. He really did a good thing.
- 17:20Speaker 1: He brought this fight to the next level, and he's
- 17:22Speaker 1: standing shoulder to shoulder with you to get the Save
- 17:25Speaker 1: America Act passed, which is neat. Now, what is the
- 17:28Speaker 1: Senate doing now? So John Thune thinks he can navigate
- 17:32Speaker 1: out of this. John Thune thinks he's got a brilliant
- 17:34Speaker 1: strategy to make it seem like he's doing something and
- 17:38Speaker 1: then not actually deliver for us. And here's the move
- 17:43Speaker 1: he's attempting to pull off. John Thune is eyeing, Axios reports,
- 17:49Speaker 1: marathon sessions to ease MAGA anger over Save Act. Marathon
- 17:56Speaker 1: sessions to ease MAGA anger over Save Act. To ease
- 17:59Speaker 1: our anger? You know what would ease my anger? Chat,
- 18:02Speaker 1: what would ease our anger over the Save Act, the
- 18:04Speaker 1: Save America Act? What would ease our anger? Passing it.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You want to ease our anger? Pass the Save America Act.
- 18:14Speaker 1: That's what you should do. Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Thank you, phone goddess. Phone goddess up there saying that.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Senate Majority Leader John Thune is exploring an open-ended debate
- 18:26Speaker 1: on the Save America Act that could run a week
- 18:28Speaker 1: or longer, forcing Democrats to publicly defend their opposition to
- 18:32Speaker 1: the bill, according to senators and aides. Oh, that's wonderful.
- 18:37Speaker 1: How much fun can we possibly have? Oh, we'll just
- 18:39Speaker 1: have a week of debate. That'll be great. According to
- 18:41Speaker 1: senators and aides, why it matters. Working through nights is
- 18:45Speaker 1: on the table beginning early next week. Passing the bill
- 18:49Speaker 1: with a 50 vote threshold is not. Axios reports. Oh,
- 18:58Speaker 1: so they're not going to do a 50 vote threshold.
- 19:02Speaker 1: It's a gambit by Thune to let off some of
- 19:04Speaker 1: the MAGA steam over an issue President Trump and his
- 19:07Speaker 1: supporters say is central to democracy, requiring ID and proof
- 19:12Speaker 1: of citizenship to vote. What do you mean Trump and
- 19:14Speaker 1: his supporters? The American public says this. In all of
- 19:18Speaker 1: the polling, this is why we say it's an 85-15 issue.
- 19:22Speaker 1: In all of the polling, the public says it's central
- 19:26Speaker 1: to democracy, requiring ID and proof of citizenship to vote.
- 19:29Speaker 1: It's not just Trump and his MAGA supporters. The idea
- 19:33Speaker 1: is to get it to the floor and discuss it
- 19:35Speaker 1: and debate the merits of getting this done, said John Boozman.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Right now, it doesn't appear we have the votes to
- 19:41Speaker 1: pass the bill.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Oh, OK.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So the Senate, which is famous for wasting time, is
- 19:47Speaker 1: going to spend next week wasting time.
- 19:50Speaker 6: Time.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Because if the end goal is not to pass the legislation,
- 19:53Speaker 1: what are you doing? This goes right back to what
- 19:55Speaker 1: we've been talking about. We don't need any more show votes.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I don't need proof that Democrats suck. I know that
- 20:00Speaker 1: Democrats suck. So what do we do about this? Well,
- 20:05Speaker 1: Mike Lee, who's been absolutely locked in on this fight,
- 20:08Speaker 1: has released a new statement overnight on what he thinks
- 20:11Speaker 1: of all of this. And he's staying cheerful and optimistic.
- 20:15Speaker 1: He's staying in the fight. I've got some updates from
- 20:17Speaker 1: him in just a moment. We'll talk about what some
- 20:19Speaker 1: of these other United States senators are up to. We've
- 20:23Speaker 1: actually picked up another senator or two who are going
- 20:26Speaker 1: to join us on the speaking filibuster fight. But the
- 20:29Speaker 1: fight is very much alive and it continues. I've got
- 20:31Speaker 1: the updates for you coming up here in just a
- 20:34Speaker 1: moment on this edition of Vince. I want to thank
- 20:36Speaker 1: a great sponsor to our program, American financing, helping so
- 20:40Speaker 1: many homeowners get out of the devastating debt of credit
- 20:43Speaker 1: card bills. It's crazy. Those credit card rates, you know
- 20:46Speaker 1: what they're up to?
- 20:48Speaker 6: 20%, 30%.
- 20:49Speaker 1: You look at that credit card statement, it's mind boggling.
- 20:53Speaker 1: And you're working a lot, just trying to catch up
- 20:55Speaker 1: with the credit card bills. Well, look, American financing is
- 20:58Speaker 1: doing something about this. They're doing something the credit card
- 21:01Speaker 1: companies hate. They're getting you out of that debt. They've
- 21:03Speaker 1: got mortgage rates in the low fives. They're showing homeowners
- 21:06Speaker 1: how to take their hard-earned equity to wipe out that
- 21:09Speaker 1: high interest debt. The average savings, 800 bucks a month.
- 21:13Speaker 1: You can talk to a salary-based mortgage consultant. There's no
- 21:16Speaker 1: upfront fees, no obligation. You can see how much you
- 21:19Speaker 1: can save. And if you start today, you could delay
- 21:23Speaker 1: two mortgage payments. It's a big deal. American Financing has
- 21:27Speaker 1: mortgage rates in the fives. Yeah, that's a big deal.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Give American Financing a call. America's Home for Home Loans.
- 21:33Speaker 1: at 888-879-6460. That's 888-879-6460, AmericanFinancing.net slash Vince. And fellas, I
- 21:45Speaker 1: know that I'm looking at my copy here for American Financing.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I know we also have some fine print we're supposed
- 21:49Speaker 1: to read about their NMLS number and things. Let me
- 21:53Speaker 1: share that with people, make sure people have it. Stand by,
- 21:57Speaker 1: I'm going to get it for you. This is an
- 22:00Speaker 1: obligation that we have to share it with you.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Right, Josh?
- 22:04Speaker 1: Let me see. I'm going to find that for you.
- 22:08Speaker 1: American financing. Here you go. NMLS number 182334, NMLSConsumerAccess.org. APR
- 22:13Speaker 1: for rates in the fives do start at 6.196%. For
- 22:16Speaker 1: well-qualified borrowers, call 888-879-6460, AmericanFinancing.net slash Vince for details about
- 22:24Speaker 1: credit costs and terms.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Look at this.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Look at that.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I'm on top of this stuff. I should be the
- 22:27Speaker 1: show's lawyer. I do it all. Thank you, fellas. Yeah, no,
- 22:31Speaker 1: we do have to make sure to read the fine print.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It matters. NMLS number 182334. I'm getting pretty good at
- 22:36Speaker 1: reading that number.
- 22:37Speaker 6: All right.
- 22:39Speaker 1: We've got more. The Save America Act. Mike Lee has
- 22:45Speaker 1: jumped into the fray yet again. It seems like we
- 22:47Speaker 1: get daily updates from him. God bless him for it.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Here's Mike Lee talking about the fight overnight.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Watch.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Okay, update for the evening. Look, I'm guardedly very optimistic.
- 22:59Speaker 3: We've got a real shot at this. Our next strategy
- 23:02Speaker 3: has got to just involve delaying as long as possible
- 23:06Speaker 3: the moment that where we cast a cloture vote. The
- 23:10Speaker 3: longer we can leave the debate hanging without cloture, the
- 23:15Speaker 3: more we have the chance to force Democrats to articulate
- 23:18Speaker 3: their basis for opposing this. We can debate, vote on,
- 23:21Speaker 3: perhaps pass amendments.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Along the way.
- 23:24Speaker 3: But we want to avoid any short hop to a
- 23:27Speaker 3: cloture vote. If we run immediately to that, knowing that
- 23:30Speaker 3: we've got a 10-vote cloture deficit, we're going to lose,
- 23:33Speaker 3: and lose quickly. We can't have that happen. We want
- 23:36Speaker 3: to keep this hanging for as long as possible without
- 23:39Speaker 3: a cloture vote. We shouldn't file for cloture until we
- 23:44Speaker 3: think we can get to 60. And otherwise, we keep
- 23:48Speaker 3: it going. Keep it hanging out there. Make them stay
- 23:55Speaker 3: for a long period of time. Through weekends, perhaps threatening recesses.
- 24:00Speaker 3: That will tend to move things along. Let's get this done.
- 24:04Speaker 3: We're not going to slow down. Let's accelerate into the turn.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Let's get this thing passed.
- 24:09Speaker 1: All right, listen to Mike Lee. So you see what's
- 24:11Speaker 1: happening here. Remember, we moved from, and I hate to
- 24:14Speaker 1: even say these words, but we moved from the simple
- 24:16Speaker 1: majority vote scenario to this 60 vote scenario, which is
- 24:19Speaker 1: even more impossible, candidly. But here's what Mike Lee is saying.
- 24:24Speaker 1: All right, you want to play that way? Fine, we'll
- 24:26Speaker 1: play that way. Let's go the distance. Let's just get
- 24:29Speaker 1: this filibuster going and we'll drag it on for months,
- 24:32Speaker 1: whatever it takes. Let's just keep dragging it on forever
- 24:34Speaker 1: until we actually get these guys crying, uncle, that they
- 24:38Speaker 1: want to bail out of this thing. Oh, fine, fine, fine,
- 24:40Speaker 1: pass it. Fine, pass it. Or at least, at the
- 24:42Speaker 1: very least, get this debate running so long that the
- 24:45Speaker 1: American people can do nothing but realize what the terms
- 24:48Speaker 1: of the debate are, that everybody is suddenly fixated on,
- 24:51Speaker 1: What the hell are they talking about? Why are they
- 24:53Speaker 1: objecting to this? What's possibly the opposition here? And if
- 24:57Speaker 1: you can use this bout as sort of a warm
- 25:00Speaker 1: up act to finally pass it by a simple majority
- 25:03Speaker 1: vote via the traditional filibuster, that could be a strategy, too.
- 25:08Speaker 1: So what Mike Lee is saying here is is basically
- 25:11Speaker 1: I don't care what format you're going to bring this
- 25:13Speaker 1: up in. I'm going to use this as an opportunity
- 25:16Speaker 1: to get closer to the final goal, which is passing
- 25:18Speaker 1: the Save America Act. We've got to do it as
- 25:20Speaker 1: quickly as possible. And even if people on my own
- 25:23Speaker 1: side are going to be the obstruction, we're going to
- 25:26Speaker 1: barrel through it. We're going to use every single opportunity
- 25:29Speaker 1: to get closer to actual passage. And, you know, I
- 25:32Speaker 1: want to remind people of something that our buddy Sean
- 25:34Speaker 1: Davis said yesterday. He had a really good summary of
- 25:38Speaker 1: what John Thune is doing here. This is the technical
- 25:41Speaker 1: side of what they're up to in the Senate. He
- 25:43Speaker 1: says that basically Thune is refusing to move on the
- 25:47Speaker 1: already passed House bill, which would only require a simple
- 25:51Speaker 1: majority because the House message is privileged. That matters to
- 25:55Speaker 1: the Senate. And if it's privileged, it does allow them
- 25:58Speaker 1: to move forward in a simple majority vote. He says instead,
- 26:02Speaker 1: they will be moving to a new standalone Senate bill.
- 26:05Speaker 1: A new Senate bill is not privileged, and therefore the
- 26:07Speaker 1: motion to proceed is debatable, meaning it requires 60 votes.
- 26:11Speaker 1: So it's got this higher threshold. And so the point
- 26:14Speaker 1: that Sean's been making is, look, Thune's trying to basically
- 26:17Speaker 1: cover for the fellas in the party that don't support
- 26:20Speaker 1: the Save America Act. He just wants to cover this up.
- 26:23Speaker 1: And then, you know, they can act like they support it,
- 26:25Speaker 1: and yet it still fails anyway. And then the mission
- 26:27Speaker 1: that they were on gets achieved. It's also absolutely corrupt.
- 26:32Speaker 1: But that's what Sean's antenna are up for. right now.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So who are the problem senators? Well, we know John
- 26:39Speaker 1: Curtis in Utah, big problem. We know Thomas Tillis in
- 26:42Speaker 1: North Carolina, big problem. We know Mitch McConnell, of course,
- 26:45Speaker 1: in Kentucky, huge problem. The guy can barely think anymore.
- 26:48Speaker 1: And then Lisa Murkowski in Alaska, big problem. Now, Murkowski
- 26:54Speaker 1: has given a bunch of different reasons as to why
- 26:56Speaker 1: she opposes the Save America Act. Back in February, she
- 27:00Speaker 1: came out And she said she opposes it because it's
- 27:04Speaker 1: not Congress's job to regulate elections, despite the fact that
- 27:07Speaker 1: the United States Constitution, Article 1, Section 4, Clause 1,
- 27:10Speaker 1: says that it's Congress's job at any time to alter
- 27:15Speaker 1: election regulations across the country. So she's constitutionally illiterate. And
- 27:20Speaker 1: then yesterday, a Lindell TV reporter chased her down in
- 27:24Speaker 1: the hallway and goes, are you going to support the
- 27:25Speaker 1: Save America Act? What's the deal here, Senator? And listen
- 27:28Speaker 1: to her latest nonsensical answer. Here's Lisa Murkowski, cut five.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Where do you stand on the Save America Act? Do
- 27:35Speaker 1: you support getting this legislation passed to protect elections?
- 27:39Speaker 2: Not as it is drafted now.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Why not?
- 27:42Speaker 2: The implementation in a rural state like Alaska is going
- 27:46Speaker 2: to disenfranchise an extraordinary majority. And while I support citizenship
- 27:53Speaker 2: voting and voting ID, I want to make sure that
- 27:56Speaker 2: it's implementable.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Did you hear what she just said? She said, yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 1: that's not going to work in Alaska because Alaskans are
- 28:06Speaker 1: too dumb to register to vote with proof of American citizenship.
- 28:13Speaker 1: That Alaskans just can't handle showing photo ID when they vote. That,
- 28:19Speaker 1: you know, we'll never be able to clean up the
- 28:21Speaker 1: voter rolls in Alaska. It's just too challenging for Alaskans.
- 28:25Speaker 1: That woman's the senator from Alaska. That's the low regard
- 28:28Speaker 1: she has. For the base in Alaska? What the hell
- 28:32Speaker 1: is she doing in the Senate? Of course, Lisa Murkowski
- 28:35Speaker 1: is there based on a stunt. They've got her from
- 28:38Speaker 1: ranked choice voting, this idiotic system in Alaska. And that's
- 28:41Speaker 1: how we end up with Lisa Murkowski. But really? Alaskans
- 28:44Speaker 1: are too dumb to handle voting correctly? Get out of
- 28:51Speaker 1: the United States Senate. It's too much. It's just too much.
- 28:55Speaker 1: But once again, that's the patronizing attitude that the establishment
- 28:58Speaker 1: has taken towards American citizens on this issue who are
- 29:02Speaker 1: wildly supportive of the Save America Act. Now, we did
- 29:07Speaker 1: get some decent news yesterday, and it may not, you know,
- 29:10Speaker 1: it's not going to get us across the finish line
- 29:12Speaker 1: just yet, but Tim Scott of South Carolina finally joined
- 29:17Speaker 1: the ranks of those of us who want a talking
- 29:19Speaker 1: filibuster to get it passed. Here's Tim Scott at a
- 29:23Speaker 1: very late hour finally joining our fray. Cut four, watch.
- 29:27Speaker 6: I think the talking filibuster would actually improve comity in
- 29:32Speaker 6: our chamber and require us to be present. That might
- 29:36Speaker 6: pull some Democrats off the sidelines and get them to
- 29:39Speaker 6: vote for this bill. Because at the end of the day,
- 29:42Speaker 6: this is about voter integrity and every demographic in the country, Joe,
- 29:47Speaker 6: supports it. Why not do common sense? Make America proud.
- 29:52Speaker 6: All right.
- 29:52Speaker 1: So Tim Scott scratches his name off the list of
- 29:55Speaker 1: problem senators, at least for now. because, you know, I
- 29:59Speaker 1: saw Mark, we have Mark Meadows, who's been keeping track
- 30:01Speaker 1: of this every day. He keeps updating the list, keeps
- 30:03Speaker 1: updating the list. Go check out Mark Meadows' ex account.
- 30:05Speaker 1: You can see it there. And Tim Scott joins the
- 30:08Speaker 1: ranks of the good guys. But the list of the
- 30:11Speaker 1: bad guys is still far too long. It's still far
- 30:14Speaker 1: too long. Now, is there a chance that something very
- 30:18Speaker 1: big is about to happen that's going to scramble all
- 30:22Speaker 1: of the math in the United States Senate? Well, John
- 30:25Speaker 1: Solomon at Just the News says there is. In a moment,
- 30:29Speaker 1: I'm going to share with you something that could transpire
- 30:32Speaker 1: in the next week or two, hopefully, that could change everything.

- 34:05Speaker 1: Somewhere we have people. Maybe we can get a good
- 34:08Speaker 1: Blackout coffee flavor. We'll talk about it. Speaking of Dan Bongino, Chat,
- 34:13Speaker 1: here's a quick question for you while we're on the subject.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Should Dan and I do crossover stuff together? Would you
- 34:21Speaker 1: be interested in seeing us do that? Let's get some
- 34:25Speaker 1: votes up in the chat. I want to see what
- 34:27Speaker 1: the feedback is on that particular subject. I think it
- 34:30Speaker 1: could be a very good idea. I think it'd be
- 34:32Speaker 1: neat to do, you know, maybe work up something where
- 34:36Speaker 1: we get Dan and I doing some stuff together.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Yes. Yes.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Sure.
- 34:40Speaker 1: I love, I love FAFO squad is like, sure. Yeah,
- 34:44Speaker 1: I guess that'd be fine. Heck yes. Absolutely. Okay. All right.
- 34:48Speaker 1: All right. Let me, uh, we'll see. We'll have, I'll
- 34:52Speaker 1: have my people get in touch with his people. If
- 34:55Speaker 1: I can find some people, then I'll have them get
- 34:56Speaker 1: in touch, but you know, we'll, we'll figure it out. Maybe,
- 34:58Speaker 1: maybe we could do something. All right. A lot of
- 35:00Speaker 1: yeses in the chat.
- 35:01Speaker 6: All right.
- 35:01Speaker 1: All right.
- 35:01Speaker 6: Cool.
- 35:02Speaker 3: All right.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Let's, uh, we'll see if we can't get something worked out.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Might be pretty good. All right, let's get to the
- 35:07Speaker 1: big news that I wanted to share with you. John Solomon.
- 35:10Speaker 1: We love John Solomon. We love John Solomon. John Solomon's
- 35:13Speaker 1: great over at Just the News. It seems like with
- 35:15Speaker 1: each passing day, he's got some other provocative piece of
- 35:18Speaker 1: important information that he's sharing with the public. And this
- 35:21Speaker 1: past 24 hours, he said, you know, all eyes on
- 35:25Speaker 1: what's going on right now in Fulton County, Georgia and
- 35:29Speaker 1: Maricopa County in Arizona. The FBI and the United States
- 35:34Speaker 1: Department of Justice, they've gone in and whether they've raided
- 35:37Speaker 1: or used grand jury subpoenas, they're obtaining all of these
- 35:42Speaker 1: old ballots and election information from these past elections and
- 35:47Speaker 1: taking a close look at these jurisdictions because what they
- 35:50Speaker 1: have detected are some of the elements of a crime.
- 35:53Speaker 1: This is the only reason FBI or grand jury, the
- 35:55Speaker 1: Justice Department is involved is because they're concerned about criminality here.
- 36:00Speaker 1: And the fruits of their labors may upend the entire
- 36:05Speaker 1: Save America Act debate in a meaningful and constructive way.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Here's John Solomon on with our friend Benny Johnson in
- 36:14Speaker 1: just the last 24 hours. Take a look at what
- 36:16Speaker 1: John had to say about all of it. Cut sex.
- 36:19Speaker 7: Your take on Maricopa County, you're saying that what's going
- 36:22Speaker 7: to happen is we're going to find out the Chinese
- 36:24Speaker 7: had a major heavy hand in rigging election. What's your
- 36:27Speaker 7: take on the yesterday in Maricopa?
- 36:30Speaker 9: Yeah, it wasn't really right. It was a grand jury subpoena,
- 36:33Speaker 9: but they grabbed the stuff. There will be some cert
- 36:35Speaker 9: forms executed in the coming days based on my reporting.
- 36:38Speaker 9: They're looking at, in Maricopa County, it's a very technical thing,
- 36:41Speaker 9: just like it was in Georgia. Did you follow state law?
- 36:44Speaker 9: Because if you didn't administer a federal election as it
- 36:47Speaker 9: was supposed to be under state law, you can be
- 36:49Speaker 9: charged federally. It's just about doing the right thing and
- 36:52Speaker 9: following the law. But above that, not in Maricopa County,
- 36:55Speaker 9: not in Fulton County, there is an extraordinary review going
- 36:58Speaker 9: on by the CIA director, the FBI director, the director
- 37:01Speaker 9: of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, John Ratcliffe, and Kash Patel.
- 37:05Speaker 9: They have found a body of documents that I think
- 37:08Speaker 9: will trouble all of us and probably will have a
- 37:10Speaker 9: profound effect on the Senate debate over the Save America Act.
- 37:13Speaker 9: A lot of senators are sitting up. They're saying, I
- 37:15Speaker 9: don't know if I need to vote for this. I
- 37:16Speaker 9: don't know what the politics. Wait a second. When they
- 37:19Speaker 9: find out that maybe voter identities in their state databases
- 37:22Speaker 9: were penetrated by China and used in influence operations, that
- 37:26Speaker 9: may change their mind. And so I think the debate
- 37:28Speaker 9: in the Senate could be informed by what comes out
- 37:30Speaker 9: in the next few weeks.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Oh, fascinating. Oh, that's so interesting. You know, yesterday I
- 37:38Speaker 1: had Emily Jashinsky on the big radio show, and we
- 37:41Speaker 1: were chatting with her about the fact that there are
- 37:44Speaker 1: senators who are still holding out that are like, I'm
- 37:47Speaker 1: not going to support this thing. I was like, what
- 37:49Speaker 1: is that? You know, is it just as simple as
- 37:51Speaker 1: and unfortunate as, you know, corruption that they're on the
- 37:54Speaker 1: take in order to stop the Save America Act? And
- 37:57Speaker 1: she did point to, you know, Occam's razor here. Some
- 37:59Speaker 1: of this is just they do have a very patronizing
- 38:02Speaker 1: view of MAGA. Like even Republican senators, they just have
- 38:05Speaker 1: a patronizing view of your concerns, your very legitimate concerns.
- 38:10Speaker 1: And there's a thought process inside from some senators that
- 38:13Speaker 1: this is all a bunch of nonsense, that there's no
- 38:15Speaker 1: problem with our elections. There's no issue whatsoever. There's no
- 38:18Speaker 1: vulnerability to fraud. Why are we even focused on this?
- 38:21Speaker 1: This is a colossal waste of time. They really do
- 38:24Speaker 1: have that kind of sort of dismissive head pat attitude
- 38:27Speaker 1: about what you and I and so many Americans are
- 38:31Speaker 1: so deeply concerned about. And what John Solomon is saying
- 38:35Speaker 1: is like, look, if you want to get those jackasses
- 38:39Speaker 1: on board, telling them in a crystal clear way with
- 38:44Speaker 1: these government agencies revealing in a pretty, it would be
- 38:47Speaker 1: a huge deal, the extent to which foreign adversaries have
- 38:52Speaker 1: been meddling inside of our election systems, it could go
- 38:56Speaker 1: a long way towards changing all of the political calculus
- 39:00Speaker 1: on the Save America Act. and towards bringing some more,
- 39:03Speaker 1: at the very least, Republicans on board. This idea that
- 39:06Speaker 1: Democrats are going to join us, it's just, right now,
- 39:08Speaker 1: it's complete nonsense. And I don't know if there'd be
- 39:10Speaker 1: anything that could possibly develop that will attract Democrats to this.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I mean, even, you know, John Fetterman, Fetterman, who has
- 39:17Speaker 1: said a series of true things, and so therefore has
- 39:23Speaker 1: received some golf claps from the right. You know, just
- 39:26Speaker 1: in the last 24 hours, he said, I'm not supporting
- 39:28Speaker 1: the Save America Act. I can't support it. That's idiotic.
- 39:31Speaker 1: That's totally idiotic. You've got to support the Save America Act.
- 39:34Speaker 1: It's the most common sense thing ever. Unless, of course,
- 39:36Speaker 1: your power depends entirely on fraud keeping you there. And
- 39:39Speaker 1: maybe that's what John Fetterman knows. Maybe he realizes fraud
- 39:42Speaker 1: is super helpful to him and his party. But look,
- 39:46Speaker 1: we need this thing. So thank you, John Solomon. And
- 39:49Speaker 1: I really look forward to some updates there. That's not
- 39:51Speaker 1: a small thing, by the way. If you've got the
- 39:53Speaker 1: director of national intelligence, the CIA director and the FBI
- 39:57Speaker 1: director and the United States Department of Justice broadly all
- 40:00Speaker 1: over this issue, the left is accusing President Trump of
- 40:02Speaker 1: trying to rig elections. I don't know how looking back
- 40:05Speaker 1: at old elections rigs future elections, you jackasses, at all.
- 40:11Speaker 1: But that's it. That's what they're saying. It turns out
- 40:15Speaker 1: they lie a lot. That might be the explanation for that.
- 40:17Speaker 1: They do lie a lot. All right. Hey, I've got
- 40:20Speaker 1: more to get to. We'll get back to the State
- 40:22Speaker 1: of America Act. Thank you for getting together for our
- 40:23Speaker 1: daily gathering on that subject. The president yesterday talked about
- 40:27Speaker 1: the Iran conflict as well. He said, you know, things
- 40:30Speaker 1: have actually gone easier than we expected. And he was
- 40:33Speaker 1: asked to resolve this question about whether or not this
- 40:36Speaker 1: is a war or not. Peter Doocy asked the president yesterday,
- 40:39Speaker 1: he goes, hey, you said it was an excursion and
- 40:41Speaker 1: you said it was a war. Can you clarify for me?
- 40:45Speaker 1: And in typical Trump fashion, he said, it's actually both.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Cut seven, watch. And you said it is a war.
- 40:52Speaker 1: So which one is it?
- 40:53Speaker 2: Well, it's both.
- 40:54Speaker 9: It's both.
- 40:55Speaker 4: It's an excursion that will keep us out of a war.
- 41:00Speaker 4: And the war is going to be, I mean, for them,
- 41:03Speaker 4: it's a war. For us, it's turned out to be
- 41:06Speaker 4: easier than we thought. But think of it, they had
- 41:09Speaker 4: thousands of missiles, 7,000, 8,000 missiles. We got many of
- 41:13Speaker 4: them before they got to launch. They had drones all
- 41:16Speaker 4: over the place. We got many. Now we're knocking out
- 41:18Speaker 4: the drone plants, as you know, going fast. They started
- 41:22Speaker 4: talking about mines. So we hit 28 mine ships as
- 41:26Speaker 4: of this moment, 28.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Yeah, the mine thing is a big deal. You know,
- 41:32Speaker 1: the Iranians are trying to drive up the cost of
- 41:34Speaker 1: oil right now. They're trying to drive up the cost
- 41:37Speaker 1: of oil. So they've been trying to lay mines, as usual,
- 41:41Speaker 1: in the Strait of Hormuz. And they've been throwing various
- 41:45Speaker 1: drones and missiles and things in the direction of some
- 41:49Speaker 1: of these ships. And in fact, overnight, CNBC reports that
- 41:53Speaker 1: three foreign ships were all struck in the Persian Gulf overnight.
- 41:58Speaker 1: And this is because Iran has basically promised verbally that
- 42:03Speaker 1: they're going to try and drive up the price of
- 42:05Speaker 1: oil internationally. to make this too painful, that they feel
- 42:09Speaker 1: like that's their only recourse, that the only way to
- 42:11Speaker 1: stop our overwhelming success in this battle is to drive
- 42:17Speaker 1: up the price of oil and deliver pain at the
- 42:20Speaker 1: pump and across the planet. Now, there has been a
- 42:23Speaker 1: big response to this internationally just in the last 24 hours.
- 42:27Speaker 1: The International Energy Agency has authorized the release of over
- 42:31Speaker 1: 400 million barrels of oil from international reserves. And yesterday,
- 42:37Speaker 1: the Trump administration has announced that they are releasing 172
- 42:41Speaker 1: million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. And this is
- 42:44Speaker 1: just the president trying to bring the prices back down
- 42:48Speaker 1: and to settle out the unease in the markets. That's
- 42:53Speaker 1: the move he's pulling right now. And he's just reacting
- 42:55Speaker 1: in real time what's going on here. And in the meantime,
- 42:58Speaker 1: he's also promised, as you've been probably seeing on Truth Social,
- 43:02Speaker 1: that he's just going to blow the hell out of
- 43:04Speaker 1: these guys. They've been blowing up mining ships that the
- 43:07Speaker 1: Iranians have, including when they're just sitting in the docks
- 43:10Speaker 1: like crazy. Central Command has been releasing video of that,
- 43:13Speaker 1: a lot like what they did when they were blowing up,
- 43:15Speaker 1: the military was blowing up all of those Venezuelan drug
- 43:18Speaker 1: running boats. We're doing it now with these Iranian mine layers.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Just make it clear, like, look, there are real lethal
- 43:26Speaker 1: consequences for you. So stop doing this. And the president's
- 43:30Speaker 1: move to basically offer U.S.-backed insurance to these big tankers
- 43:37Speaker 1: so that they can transit the Strait of Hormuz and
- 43:40Speaker 1: have the United States Navy protecting the shipping lines. So
- 43:44Speaker 1: that's what's underway right now. Meanwhile, the president is trying
- 43:47Speaker 1: to get a lot of energy drilled just right here
- 43:50Speaker 1: in the United States of America. But that Strait of
- 43:52Speaker 1: Hormuz is a big deal. When you have 20% of
- 43:54Speaker 1: the world's oil supply going through the Strait of Hormuz,
- 43:57Speaker 1: and if the Iranians are upending it, bringing it to
- 44:00Speaker 1: a standstill, you're going to see a correlating rise in prices.
- 44:04Speaker 1: That's just the way these things work, because the market
- 44:06Speaker 1: for oil is international. So you're not just buying In
- 44:10Speaker 1: an American exclusive market, you're buying in a global free
- 44:14Speaker 1: market for oil and that the prices are being driven
- 44:17Speaker 1: up by this. So the president and some of the
- 44:19Speaker 1: other European countries in particular, International Energy Agency, are working
- 44:23Speaker 1: to open up their reserves right now to bring those
- 44:26Speaker 1: prices back down, resolving all of that. One more for
- 44:29Speaker 1: you on Iran today. The president says that as far
- 44:33Speaker 1: as Iran is concerned, we've won. He said, you know,
- 44:36Speaker 1: we've won there as the core mission is to destroy
- 44:40Speaker 1: their nuclear capability. Oh, we've definitely done that. So as
- 44:43Speaker 1: far as our military objectives, we've achieved them in record time.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Here's President Trump cut eight. Watch.
- 44:51Speaker 5: And as we take decisive action to stop the threat
- 44:54Speaker 5: posed by the terrorist regime in Iran with Operation Epic Fury.
- 45:10Speaker 5: Is that a great name? Well, it's only good if
- 45:13Speaker 5: you win, you know, you can only do it.
- 45:15Speaker 1: And we've won.
- 45:16Speaker 8: Let me tell you, we've won.
- 45:18Speaker 5: You know, you never like to say too.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Early you won.
- 45:20Speaker 4: We won.
- 45:21Speaker 5: We won the bet. In the first hour, it was over.
- 45:24Speaker 1: But we won.
- 45:25Speaker 5: But they gave me a list of names. Sir, you
- 45:27Speaker 5: can pick the name you'd like, sir.
- 45:30Speaker 8: I said, the name of what? The name of the
- 45:33Speaker 8: attack on Iran, sir. And they gave me like 20 names.
- 45:38Speaker 8: And I'm like falling asleep. I didn't like any of them.
- 45:40Speaker 8: Then I see Epic Fury. I said, I like that name.
- 45:45Speaker 8: I like that name.
- 45:48Speaker 1: That's good, guys. So the president is funny. I didn't,
- 45:52Speaker 1: you know, I was wondering how they came up with that.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I guess they came up with a list. They showed
- 45:55Speaker 1: it to him. He said he fell asleep for most
- 45:57Speaker 1: of the names. And then he saw Operation Epic Fury.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Epic Fury. So that's what they went with. I love
- 46:04Speaker 1: I love how he pretended he was confused about what
- 46:06Speaker 1: mission they were talking about. What mission? What one? You know,
- 46:09Speaker 1: the one where we attack Iran. Oh, OK.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:12Speaker 1: What are the names? Pretty funny. But, you know, the
- 46:15Speaker 1: most important takeaway from that clip is the president is
- 46:18Speaker 1: keenly aware of the fact that the United States, meaning America's,
- 46:22Speaker 1: we want to just see this thing brought to completion
- 46:27Speaker 1: and resolved and then try and get our guys out
- 46:29Speaker 1: of harm's way. That's it. As quickly as we can.
- 46:33Speaker 1: We want the troops out of there. We don't want
- 46:34Speaker 1: anybody else getting injured or dying. We want the conflict
- 46:37Speaker 1: to be over. We want peace as quickly as possible.
- 46:39Speaker 1: And that's what President Trump wants as well. So when
- 46:41Speaker 1: the president is now indicating that, yeah, we've done this
- 46:43Speaker 1: actually even faster than possible. We've won. He said, I
- 46:47Speaker 1: hate to say that we've won, but we've achieved so
- 46:51Speaker 1: many of our military goals. It's a good sign that
- 46:54Speaker 1: the president is now figuring out a way to begin
- 46:56Speaker 1: to wind this down. that it doesn't mean let Iran
- 47:00Speaker 1: get a nuclear weapon, become a harbor for terrorism again. Now,
- 47:04Speaker 1: the president's working to stop all of that, but he's
- 47:06Speaker 1: also working to try and have the smallest footprint possible
- 47:12Speaker 1: to have this thing continue. And that's a big deal.
- 47:16Speaker 1: It's also a sign, of course, that they've learned, this
- 47:18Speaker 1: administration in particular has learned from all of the ridiculous
- 47:23Speaker 1: American adventurism through the years by so many other U.S.
- 47:27Speaker 1: governments that did not lead to good outcomes, instead just
- 47:31Speaker 1: led to more chaos. And that's the thing they're looking
- 47:33Speaker 1: to avoid. And in Iran, remember, Iran, they are merchants
- 47:37Speaker 1: of chaos. We were resolving a chaotic situation, not inducing one,
- 47:41Speaker 1: which is typically what the American foreign policy establishment has
- 47:45Speaker 1: done over the last few decades. They've induced chaotic situations.
- 47:48Speaker 1: President Trump is cleaning one up. So we'll keep our
- 47:51Speaker 1: eyes on that. But the president clearly indicating that he's
- 47:54Speaker 1: looking at how to wind this thing down to the
- 47:56Speaker 1: benefit of the United States, which is very good news.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I'm glad to hear that. All right. Now, speaking of
- 48:02Speaker 1: that military, the left has a fake scandal of the week.
- 48:07Speaker 1: You guys ready for a fake scandal of the week? Chat,
- 48:09Speaker 1: you ready for the last fake scandal of the week?
- 48:11Speaker 1: We have so many of them, but this really, this
- 48:12Speaker 1: seems like the big one this week. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 48:15Speaker 1: here we go. And now it's time for the left's
- 48:21Speaker 1: fake scandal of the week.
- 48:23Speaker 4: Uh-huh.
- 48:24Speaker 6: Extra, extra.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Yes, indeed. The fake scandal of the week. This one
- 48:31Speaker 1: involves the United States military and specifically Secretary of War
- 48:37Speaker 1: Pete Hegseth. The New Republic this week has got the
- 48:40Speaker 1: left all going absolutely crazy that Pete Hegseth is ingesting
- 48:47Speaker 1: millions and millions of dollars of lobster tail and steak.
- 48:51Speaker 1: You tracking this at all? This story is one of
- 48:55Speaker 1: the single most ridiculous fake scandals we've ever seen. Pete
- 48:59Speaker 1: Hegseth blew billions of dollars on fruit basket stands, chairs,
- 49:05Speaker 1: and crab, says the New Republic. The Pentagon spent more
- 49:09Speaker 1: money in September, that's the end of the 2025 fiscal year,
- 49:12Speaker 1: than it had in any other year since 2008. But
- 49:15Speaker 1: a good chunk of the budget wasn't used for anything
- 49:17Speaker 1: that could be considered a pertinent military expense, says the
- 49:21Speaker 1: New Republic. They say they burned through $ 93 billion that
- 49:26Speaker 1: month alone. And they say some of the frivolous September
- 49:30Speaker 1: purchases made under Secretary Pete Hegseth's stewardship includes a $ 98, 329
- 49:36Speaker 1: Steinway & Sons grand piano for the Air Force Chief
- 49:39Speaker 1: of Staff's home, $ 5. 3 million for Apple devices such as
- 49:45Speaker 1: the new iPad, and an astronomical amount of shellfish, including
- 49:50Speaker 1: $ 2 million for Alaskan king crab and $ 6. 9 million worth
- 49:53Speaker 1: of lobster tail. Lobstertail is apparently a favorite of Hegsath's Pentagon.
- 50:00Speaker 1: The department spent more than $ 7. 4 million total on the
- 50:04Speaker 1: luxury item in March, May, June, and October.
- 50:12Speaker 3: $ 7.
- 50:12Speaker 1: 4 million. Now, $ 7. 4 million. One more thing. I'll get
- 50:18Speaker 1: to that in a moment. They also dropped $ 15. 1 million
- 50:21Speaker 1: on ribeye steak. That's, again, just for September. $ 124, 000 for
- 50:26Speaker 1: ice cream machines, and $ 139, 000 on 272 orders of donuts.
- 50:29Speaker 1: You got it? So the frame up here from the
- 50:34Speaker 1: New Republic, this ridiculous outlet, is that Pete Hegseth is
- 50:39Speaker 1: buying all of this to stuff into his own face.
- 50:43Speaker 1: That it's just Pete Hegseth sitting around eating $ 2 million
- 50:47Speaker 1: of Alaskan king crab, tens of millions of dollars of
- 50:52Speaker 1: lobster tail, that he just bought $ 15. 1 million of ribeye
- 50:57Speaker 1: steak to stuff into his face. That's the plan. Pete Hegseth,
- 51:01Speaker 1: you think that's Pete Hegseth's diet, by the way? You
- 51:02Speaker 1: think he's just eating all that? I don't think so.
- 51:04Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's not his diet. Chat, why would
- 51:10Speaker 1: the United States military buy steak and lobster? What would
- 51:15Speaker 1: that be for? What in the world would steak and
- 51:17Speaker 1: lobster be for? Is it for Pete Hegseth? It's for
- 51:23Speaker 1: the troops. The whole chat knows this. We got a
- 51:25Speaker 1: lot of veterans in the chat too. It's for the troops.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Steak and lobster are for, especially our forward deployed military.
- 51:35Speaker 1: We're taking care of the guys who take care of us.
- 51:39Speaker 1: This is not a new tradition. It is a long
- 51:42Speaker 1: lasting tradition. in the United States military. Here's one example,
- 51:46Speaker 1: one expression of it from military.com this past month. They
- 51:49Speaker 1: call it surf and turf before the storm. And they
- 51:52Speaker 1: talk about how across branches and generations, service members have
- 51:56Speaker 1: circulated a widely recognized belief. When steak and lobster appear
- 52:00Speaker 1: in the dining facility, something significant may be coming. It's
- 52:04Speaker 1: often described as a surf and turf meal. The combination
- 52:08Speaker 1: has become embedded in military culture as a symbolic precursor
- 52:12Speaker 1: to deployments combat operations, or extended missions. While experiences vary
- 52:17Speaker 1: by unit and theater, anecdotal accounts from service members consistently
- 52:21Speaker 1: reinforce the association between morale-boosting meals and periods of heightened
- 52:27Speaker 1: operational tempo. It's part of military folklore now, shared in
- 52:32Speaker 1: barracks conversations, deployment stories, online veteran communities. The surf and
- 52:37Speaker 1: turf meal. You go and you get... steak and lobster.
- 52:42Speaker 1: We're feeding the troops here. Now, that has not stopped
- 52:47Speaker 1: the left from its complete and utter emotional incontinence. They've
- 52:52Speaker 1: gone absolutely crazy about this. Look, for instance, at this clip.
- 52:59Speaker 1: This comes to us from CNN overnight. Here is longtime
- 53:03Speaker 1: left-wing CNN debater, Paul Begala, saying that Pete Hegseth just
- 53:09Speaker 1: did this all for himself. I mean, I can't even,
- 53:13Speaker 1: I mean, I guess I can believe how stupid this is,
- 53:15Speaker 1: but watch this. Here we go. This one, the great
- 53:17Speaker 1: Thomas Hearn pulling this clip. Here's CNN last night. and
- 53:21Speaker 1: some receipts built into it. He has spent $ 15 million
- 53:26Speaker 1: in one month for ribeye steak, $ 6. 9 million for lobster tail,
- 53:29Speaker 1: $ 225 million for furniture. He spent more in the month
- 53:33Speaker 1: of September than most countries on Earth spend in their defense.
- 53:36Speaker 1: All for himself? Lobster tails? While our troops are eating MREs?
- 53:40Speaker 1: Lobster tails?
- 53:42Speaker 7: Do you believe the Secretary of Defense is personally eating
- 53:44Speaker 7: all the lobster?
- 53:45Speaker 1: Well, he can't eat 16.
- 53:47Speaker 6: Oh, really?
- 53:48Speaker 1: The troops are getting lobster.
- 53:50Speaker 6: Oh, brother's defect has steak and lobster.
- 53:55Speaker 4: How's the steak and lobster?
- 53:57Speaker 5: All right.
- 53:57Speaker 4: Damn, you're decent.
- 53:58Speaker 3: How's yours?
- 53:59Speaker 1: I'm ready for war.
- 54:02Speaker 6: We're going to war.
- 54:03Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Troops who are going to war. Oh, my God. You
- 54:06Speaker 1: know that. That's getting a lobster. You are so full
- 54:09Speaker 1: of it. You're going to get killed over this. Internet,
- 54:11Speaker 1: do something. I might have to double it.
- 54:16Speaker 3: I had to run it back.
- 54:17Speaker 4: I had to run it back.
- 54:20Speaker 1: He has spent $ 15 million. He goes, I love how
- 54:24Speaker 1: confidently incorrect Paul Gbagala is. He's like, the troops are
- 54:28Speaker 1: not getting the steak and lobster. That's precisely who's getting
- 54:32Speaker 1: the steak and lobster. Internet, do your thing. Hilarious. Scott Jennings,
- 54:38Speaker 1: once again, successfully dunking on the idiots they put on
- 54:40Speaker 1: the panel with him. public gala. He's not getting a
- 54:43Speaker 1: steak and lobster. And this has become, once again, it's
- 54:46Speaker 1: a token of faith on the left. They think there's
- 54:49Speaker 1: no way the troops are getting this food. Here's Adam
- 54:53Speaker 1: freaking Schiff, the guy who is known for lying about everything.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Watermelonhead himself, Mr. Pencilneck, coming out and saying that this
- 55:02Speaker 1: is all like some sort of cruel theft that Pete
- 55:06Speaker 1: Hegseth is just stealing steak and lobster from the American people.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Here's This idiot, Adam Schiff, just in the last 24 hours.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 55:17Speaker 4: So how much did you spend last year on fruit
- 55:20Speaker 4: basket stands?
- 55:22Speaker 6: Well, the Pentagon spent 12,000.
- 55:23Speaker 1: That's a lot of fruit basket stands.
- 55:29Speaker 6: But that's not all. They wasted a whole lot more
- 55:32Speaker 6: money than that.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 55:34Speaker 10: So far, this war has cost over $ 6 billion, but
- 55:37Speaker 10: burning through cash is nothing new for Secretary of War
- 55:40Speaker 10: Pete Hegseth, because a government watchdog discovered that he blew
- 55:43Speaker 10: billions on things like $ 5. 3 million for new iPads, $ 60, 000
- 55:48Speaker 10: for Herman Miller recliners, and $ 12, 000 for fruit basket stands.
- 55:54Speaker 1: You know, and then so the clip continues. I don't
- 55:56Speaker 1: care about seeing more Stephen Colbert. But Adam Schiff is
- 55:59Speaker 1: lying to you. And then Colbert goes on and talks
- 56:01Speaker 1: about all this steak and the lobster. Yeah, the steak
- 56:03Speaker 1: and the lobster is for the troops. It's for the troops.
- 56:08Speaker 1: And by the way, that piano that they referenced, there
- 56:11Speaker 1: was a piano referenced in the New Republic piece, the $ 98, 320
- 56:15Speaker 1: Steinway and Sons piano. Yeah, this is for the musicians
- 56:22Speaker 1: in the United States military who– we have very talented
- 56:27Speaker 1: musicians in the United States military– They need a piano
- 56:29Speaker 1: to play. It turns out, if you guys know anything
- 56:32Speaker 1: about these grand pianos, apparently this is a steal for
- 56:36Speaker 1: a Steinway, a $ 98, 000 Steinway. The military got a good
- 56:40Speaker 1: price on it, in other words. But everything has to
- 56:43Speaker 1: become a scandal with these jackasses. I love the left
- 56:46Speaker 1: who pretend that they're very frugal, too. They're very good
- 56:49Speaker 1: at holding on to the money. The whole thing is
- 56:52Speaker 1: so crazy. Accusing the Trump administration of wasteful spending. President
- 56:57Speaker 1: Trump just shrunk 10% of the entire federal workforce. He
- 57:01Speaker 1: got rid of 300,000 federal workers to try and save
- 57:04Speaker 1: a ton of money for the American people. I'll take
- 57:07Speaker 1: that any day of the week. I'll take feeding the
- 57:09Speaker 1: troops and shrinking the federal workforce any freaking day of
- 57:13Speaker 1: the week. Finally, on this story, one of the most
- 57:18Speaker 1: hilarious headlines I've seen on the whole subject comes to
- 57:22Speaker 1: us from a website called the advocate, the advocate, which
- 57:26Speaker 1: is like an LGBTQIA two spirit plus website. They, they,
- 57:34Speaker 1: this is their headline. Pentagon spent more on lobster in
- 57:37Speaker 1: one month than it did on trans healthcare all year.
- 57:45Speaker 4: Good.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Thank God. So in other words, We spent a lot
- 57:54Speaker 1: of money on feeding the troops steak and lobster, which
- 57:57Speaker 1: they definitely deserve. And we didn't spend very much on
- 58:01Speaker 1: mutilating them, which they definitely don't deserve. Well, that's great news.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
- 58:11Speaker 1: What a world. It really is the left's fake scandal
- 58:14Speaker 1: of the week. It's amazing. It's absolutely amazing. And you're amazing.
