- 1:40Speaker 1: Here, awesome that you're joining us. It's now nine o'clock
- 1:43Speaker 1: in the morning in Hong Kong, and it's eight o'clock
- 1:45Speaker 1: here in New York. So thank you for getting.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Up to do this with us. I really appreciate it,
- 1:50Speaker 2: of course. Yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Likewise, the last time I interviewed you was in twenty
- 1:54Speaker 1: twenty four and for those meeting you for the first time,
- 1:58Speaker 1: please share with us your early path and understanding of
- 2:02Speaker 1: spirit and nature.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Right, so, my spiritual paths started about let me think
- 2:09Speaker 2: back in two thousand fourteen, I think, so roughly to
- 2:13Speaker 2: twelve years ago. Before that, I was, you know, living
- 2:18Speaker 2: a very ordinary you know, businessman live. I was working
- 2:22Speaker 2: in finance and banking. But around the age of I
- 2:27Speaker 2: would say twenty nine, which is actually my first Saturn
- 2:31Speaker 2: re term, I had my own spiritual awakening about what
- 2:36Speaker 2: my purpose is and you know, who I really was,
- 2:41Speaker 2: and that's how I reconnected a lot of the dots
- 2:46Speaker 2: in the past. Right when I met my first spiritual teacher,
- 2:49Speaker 2: my first astrology teacher before that, which kind of like
- 2:55Speaker 2: you know, planted a seat right in my life. And
- 2:58Speaker 2: even though at that time I was not a very
- 3:00Speaker 2: much aware of what that meant. I did study astrology
- 3:04Speaker 2: and I did study mythology within, but in my mind
- 3:07Speaker 2: it was always just a hobby. But around my first
- 3:12Speaker 2: stur of return, and that's when I realized that there's
- 3:15Speaker 2: a deeper purpose that I needed to pursue. And that's how,
- 3:20Speaker 2: you know, in my spiritual career I really started. And
- 3:23Speaker 2: of course, you know, along the way, I furthered my
- 3:26Speaker 2: education in counseling, in psychology as well as astrology. And uh, yeah,
- 3:32Speaker 2: it's been a twelve years and you know, speaking of
- 3:36Speaker 2: our first interview back in two thousand, I think that
- 3:40Speaker 2: was two years of two than twenty four, right, you mentioned, right,
- 3:43Speaker 2: and that's the time when I released my two oracle decks,
- 3:47Speaker 2: Oracle of the Midi Heroes and Oracle of the Celestial Deities.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Absolutely, we're gonna be talking about those a little bit later,
- 3:54Speaker 1: but just out of curiosity, what were the circumstances that
- 3:58Speaker 1: opened you to this? What happened, what changed in your
- 4:01Speaker 1: life that made you embrace this.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It's kind of interesting, right when people talk about you know,
- 4:06Speaker 2: awakening or enlightenment. People came to think of an angel,
- 4:10Speaker 2: you know, above you, and you know, and you're just
- 4:12Speaker 2: being protecting a lot, and then you have your awakening,
- 4:16Speaker 2: which is totally not true for me, because for about
- 4:22Speaker 2: five years, four or five years, well, I was working
- 4:25Speaker 2: as a you know, a banker. I was really suffering
- 4:29Speaker 2: and I was walking the path that it's a so
- 4:34Speaker 2: called you know, the conventional paths that you're supposed to live,
- 4:37Speaker 2: you know, because you have expectations from the parents, you
- 4:41Speaker 2: have expectations from your teachers, you have expectations from the
- 4:45Speaker 2: society how you should live your life based on your past.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And so because I was you know, my parents when
- 4:52Speaker 2: I was eighteen, my parents sent me overseas to study
- 4:55Speaker 2: and they supported me a lot along this my educational journey.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And so there's always a part of me feeling that
- 5:02Speaker 2: I needed to give back and I have to you know,
- 5:05Speaker 2: do the right thing, the so called the right thing
- 5:07Speaker 2: right to either reciprocate or just to answer, you know,
- 5:12Speaker 2: my parents' expectations. And know though because you know, I'm
- 5:16Speaker 2: I'm of Chinese descent, my parents are very very traditional
- 5:21Speaker 2: Chinese and so you know, for for them working in
- 5:25Speaker 2: an investment bank, you know, wearing a suit every day,
- 5:28Speaker 2: and you look sharp, you look intelligent, and you know
- 5:31Speaker 2: you deal with I don't know, you know, those amazing
- 5:36Speaker 2: people right in the society CEO CFOs in other bankers
- 5:41Speaker 2: are supposed to be glamorous to them. But I was
- 5:44Speaker 2: literally suffering during that time, and to the point that
- 5:47Speaker 2: I went into a little bit kind of like a
- 5:49Speaker 2: depression because I just didn't really know why I'm waking
- 5:53Speaker 2: up every day. You know, I wake up every day,
- 5:55Speaker 2: I go to work and I do my thing. I
- 5:57Speaker 2: come back home and I eat, I leave in the
- 5:59Speaker 2: next say, I'm repeating they sent pattern, but that's not me.
- 6:04Speaker 2: And that's the time when I still remember because at
- 6:08Speaker 2: my twenty nine years old birthday, I was with my
- 6:11Speaker 2: best friend celebrating and I burst into tears and he said,
- 6:15Speaker 2: what's wrong, and I said, I don't know why I'm celebrating,
- 6:19Speaker 2: like there's absolutely nothing to celebrate about my life. And
- 6:23Speaker 2: that's also the same year when I suddenly recalled my
- 6:28Speaker 2: first astrology teacher when I lived in Sydney, Australia back
- 6:32Speaker 2: I think that was back when I was twenty five
- 6:34Speaker 2: years old, so four or five years before that, I
- 6:40Speaker 2: suddenly remembered him, and I suddenly remembered the excitement, the
- 6:46Speaker 2: sense of I don't know, it's just this sense of
- 6:48Speaker 2: happiness and joy that I felt when I was studying
- 6:51Speaker 2: with him, even though at that time it never clicked,
- 6:55Speaker 2: you know, I always thought that, oh, it's just a hobby, right.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I liked doing that. I like to learn in the
- 6:59Speaker 2: myth of stories, and I like to talk about those
- 7:02Speaker 2: things with him. And that's how the awakening suddenly happened.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And just one day I realized that this is it,
- 7:10Speaker 2: like I visited a path that I'm supposed to walk.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Please share with us your perceptions about astrology and metaphysical studies.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Why do you believe these areas might spark controversy for
- 7:21Speaker 1: some people yet also captivate a significant number of enthusiasts.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I think it's very interesting because I literally just I
- 7:33Speaker 2: had a very interesting encountering with someone when I was
- 7:37Speaker 2: traveling literally last months in the Thailand. I was at
- 7:41Speaker 2: this dinner thing, right, and of course a lot of
- 7:43Speaker 2: people you meet them for the first time, and I
- 7:46Speaker 2: was talking to someone who's very interesting in astrology, and
- 7:49Speaker 2: we're having this amazing conversation that suddenly suddenly a stranger
- 7:55Speaker 2: another lady cut into our conversation and she said, oh,
- 7:58Speaker 2: by the way, just let you know. I don't get
- 8:00Speaker 2: it at all. I think astrology is all it's all,
- 8:04Speaker 2: you know, like just boring stuff, right, It's all made up,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and I don't think they make any sense. I don't
- 8:09Speaker 2: think people should believe in them. And I look, I
- 8:12Speaker 2: just looked at her. I said, oh, man, I know
- 8:13Speaker 2: what you do. And she said, well, just let you know.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm a scientist, and so you know, I understand that
- 8:19Speaker 2: sometimes in life we have people who, you know, who
- 8:23Speaker 2: don't believe in what we do, or who just don't
- 8:25Speaker 2: believe in what is actually happening out there. I think
- 8:28Speaker 2: when it comes to skepticism, the most important thing about
- 8:32Speaker 2: astrology is that you have to look at history, because
- 8:34Speaker 2: astrology is about the study of history. A lot of
- 8:37Speaker 2: people believe that it's about the future. Yes, you can
- 8:40Speaker 2: use astrology to predict the future, but more importantly it's
- 8:43Speaker 2: about learning history. And so throughout the thousands of years,
- 8:46Speaker 2: I think as human beings, we have found certain patterns uncertain.
- 8:54Speaker 2: How do we say this regularity right between the movement
- 8:59Speaker 2: and the progression of our planets in the sky versus
- 9:02Speaker 2: what is actually happening on the Earth in our human society.
- 9:07Speaker 2: You know, when certain planets are moving into certain angles
- 9:10Speaker 2: or aspect with another planet, or when certain important planets
- 9:16Speaker 2: are coming to a conjunction, and we're seeing, for example,
- 9:19Speaker 2: the change of government, we're seeing the death of a king,
- 9:23Speaker 2: and we're seeing, uh, you know, the potential chaos in
- 9:28Speaker 2: the society and things like that. And it's the same
- 9:31Speaker 2: as in the early days, you know, from the Babylonian
- 9:34Speaker 2: time and the Sumerian time, when we use austrology to
- 9:38Speaker 2: predict harvest, right, I mean, in the early days, human
- 9:42Speaker 2: being would look at the sky and understand when is
- 9:44Speaker 2: the right time to plant seeds, when is the right
- 9:47Speaker 2: time to a harvest, and when is potential flooding happening,
- 9:52Speaker 2: and when the waves would be uh, the the tide
- 9:55Speaker 2: will be high, which is based on the the you know,
- 9:57Speaker 2: the movement of the moon, the lunar cycle. And so
- 10:02Speaker 2: at the end of the day, I do think that
- 10:03Speaker 2: astrology is not really about okay, you know, the stars
- 10:08Speaker 2: control us, where we control the star. At the end
- 10:11Speaker 2: of the day, it's about this beautiful synchronicity that we're
- 10:15Speaker 2: seeing between us with our nature and the planet in
- 10:20Speaker 2: the sky. Our universe is a part of our nature.
- 10:23Speaker 2: It's just we can't see them very very clearly. But
- 10:26Speaker 2: you see the trees, and you see the butterflies flying,
- 10:30Speaker 2: you see the river flowing, and those are all part
- 10:32Speaker 2: of our nature. And that's why when we are seeing certain,
- 10:36Speaker 2: for example, animals their behaviors, we realize, Okay, when, for example,
- 10:41Speaker 2: when the dragonflies are flying very low, probably it's gonna
- 10:46Speaker 2: ring later. Things like that. But if you want to
- 10:49Speaker 2: find certain I don't know the so called the scientific
- 10:54Speaker 2: proof in noe of them. Maybe at this moment we
- 10:57Speaker 2: haven't really found out everything life. Thousands of years ago,
- 11:01Speaker 2: we also did not know why, you know, certain things
- 11:05Speaker 2: were happening, and we also had a lot of you know,
- 11:08Speaker 2: misconceptions about you know, for example, we thought we the
- 11:11Speaker 2: sun goes around us. But now with telescope and everything,
- 11:15Speaker 2: all the scientific calculations, we understand it's the other way around.
- 11:19Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, what we observe
- 11:22Speaker 2: from our perspective will always make sense to us.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Absolutely. I don't know if I shared this with you
- 11:28Speaker 1: the last time we spoke, but I spent forty six
- 11:32Speaker 1: years in industrial technology in the welding equipment business. But
- 11:36Speaker 1: I also had this spiritual awakening in my late thirties
- 11:40Speaker 1: and you had mentioned about Saturn returns. Do a lot
- 11:43Speaker 1: of people have that awakening to something that has been
- 11:45Speaker 1: misplaced or put aside in their life to pursue a career.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Hundred percent? I think Saturn returns one of the most
- 11:52Speaker 2: important timing in our lives. I mean to be honest, right,
- 11:56Speaker 2: because saturare is a movement. I think you know alreadya
- 11:59Speaker 2: it's very slow, it's pretty much you know, every twenty
- 12:02Speaker 2: eight to thirty years we have our Saturn return. So
- 12:05Speaker 2: as human being, let's say, if we can live until
- 12:08Speaker 2: ninety years old the most, no, I mean the most
- 12:11Speaker 2: Saturday there you can have it three times the most
- 12:13Speaker 2: people only have two, right, And that's just you know
- 12:16Speaker 2: what it is because of the limitation of our lifespan.
- 12:21Speaker 2: And so Saturn Raydia always sort of like brings sort
- 12:24Speaker 2: of some kind of awakening we're understanding, and I mean
- 12:27Speaker 2: that's at the very spiritual level. It's the awareness. But
- 12:31Speaker 2: then what Satura also does for us is it will
- 12:33Speaker 2: prompt us into action to restructure what we have built.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Sometimes we need to let whatever you know hasn't worked
- 12:44Speaker 2: out for us collapse, and that's so that we can
- 12:47Speaker 2: rebuild things. It's a little bit like you know, the
- 12:49Speaker 2: tower card in perild and of course usually when we
- 12:53Speaker 2: look at the tower energy is disasterous, but only in hindsight,
- 12:57Speaker 2: I think we understand that that was so necessary. And
- 13:00Speaker 2: so that's why I always say to my clients, Sata
- 13:03Speaker 2: is not an evil planet. Right to Saturn as evil
- 13:07Speaker 2: or at something that is scary. It's a stoic and
- 13:10Speaker 2: stern teacher that you know. It's kind of like, you know,
- 13:13Speaker 2: knocking on our forehead and seeing that wake up, right.
- 13:16Speaker 2: You can't keep leaving in your dilution. You have to
- 13:21Speaker 2: wake up and look at your life and understand that
- 13:24Speaker 2: what he's real, and he's kind of ushering us right
- 13:27Speaker 2: towards the right past, even though sometimes it can be
- 13:29Speaker 2: a little bit harsh.
- 13:31Speaker 1: You know. It's interesting. I was able to maintain a
- 13:33Speaker 1: balance in my life both of the day job per
- 13:35Speaker 1: se and the spiritual work, the spiritual pursuit. And about
- 13:39Speaker 1: twenty five years ago a friend of mine, a business associate, said,
- 13:42Speaker 1: how do you balance the fact that you have this
- 13:44Speaker 1: day job in industrial technology and the spiritual work that
- 13:48Speaker 1: you do, and we're not even thinking about it. I said,
- 13:50Speaker 1: the day job pays my salary. I said, the spiritual
- 13:54Speaker 1: work pays my solary. This word solary came out of me.
- 13:58Speaker 1: And so that's what it's been about for me. It's
- 14:00Speaker 1: been my solary. It's been the compensation of spirit and
- 14:03Speaker 1: I've really feel blessed that I've had both of those careers.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's I mean, to be honest, I think
- 14:09Speaker 2: a lot of us, especially you know, with this transition, right,
- 14:13Speaker 2: I mean from a let's see, a corporate job, like
- 14:15Speaker 2: for you, you know, it's balancing these two very very
- 14:19Speaker 2: different careers on the opposite spectrum, right, But also for me,
- 14:24Speaker 2: you know, at the very beginning it's the same to
- 14:26Speaker 2: transition from being a banker in the finance field towards
- 14:31Speaker 2: to be a spiritual counselor. It was a huge transition,
- 14:34Speaker 2: not just for me, but also you know, I also
- 14:38Speaker 2: have to consider whether it will be accepted by my
- 14:42Speaker 2: family because because sometimes again you know, in our culture,
- 14:46Speaker 2: it's not about you know, what I want to do,
- 14:47Speaker 2: So it's about but would this be okay with my parents?
- 14:51Speaker 2: It wouldn't be okay with the people who had all
- 14:53Speaker 2: these expectations right towards me, you know, because they, for example,
- 14:57Speaker 2: my father paid for the first year of my tuition.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You know, all these kind of guilt would also come in,
- 15:03Speaker 2: and I think at the end of the day, when
- 15:05Speaker 2: I would you know, when I'm doing counseling with the people.
- 15:08Speaker 2: A lot of the difficulties people have, A part of
- 15:10Speaker 2: them is about bringing confidence in themselves. But the other
- 15:13Speaker 2: part is they're so guilty towards someone else where their
- 15:16Speaker 2: families were maybe a partner, and that's why they can't
- 15:19Speaker 2: really make the transition. Maybe that's the most difficult thing
- 15:22Speaker 2: I think for a lot of people.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah, please tell us about your founding of the Healing Kingdom.
- 15:28Speaker 1: What inspired this and what do you offer those who
- 15:30Speaker 1: were called to you?
- 15:32Speaker 2: Oh so the Human Kingdom was officially founded back in
- 15:35Speaker 2: two thousand, end of twenty fourteen, naturally, so that's when
- 15:39Speaker 2: when I first started, you know, doing readings and spiritual
- 15:43Speaker 2: counseling as a professional. There's not much, to be honest,
- 15:48Speaker 2: profound stories about it. But one of the things on
- 15:51Speaker 2: my birth chart is that when I was born at
- 15:54Speaker 2: my Norse node in conjunction with my natal Chiron and
- 15:58Speaker 2: Cairong in Greek mythology is a wounded healer. He was
- 16:01Speaker 2: a very wise centaur, and he was a teacher of Hercules.
- 16:06Speaker 2: He was a teacher of Thetheus, he was a teacher
- 16:09Speaker 2: of Jason, you know, all these amazing Greek heroes. And
- 16:13Speaker 2: because I resonated myself so much with Chiron's energy, and
- 16:18Speaker 2: so I wanted to do reading, not just as a
- 16:23Speaker 2: purely predicted, predictive art, but I want to bring a
- 16:27Speaker 2: sense of therapeutic value and the heating value to my clients.
- 16:32Speaker 2: And that's why so I, you know, I wanted to
- 16:34Speaker 2: name my business heating something and in one dream, right
- 16:40Speaker 2: then they added the dream because I also really appreciate
- 16:43Speaker 2: one of the Greek mythology characters of whose name is Orpheus. Naturally,
- 16:48Speaker 2: in my Oracle Oracle of the Mythic Heroes, I wrote
- 16:52Speaker 2: about him in the chapter dedicated to the doldic sign
- 16:55Speaker 2: cancer and in a dream. I don't know why about Orpheus,
- 17:01Speaker 2: And in my dream he was wearing a golden crown.
- 17:04Speaker 2: It's very funny, and so that's how I got in
- 17:07Speaker 2: from inspiration. But I think, to me, I mean Orpheus
- 17:12Speaker 2: was a massive healer. He was an artist, he was
- 17:15Speaker 2: a musician, but at the end of the day, he
- 17:16Speaker 2: was also a king for his people because he dedicated
- 17:20Speaker 2: his all his talents. Right, he's no house to heal
- 17:23Speaker 2: the people around him. And I was thinking, well, this
- 17:26Speaker 2: is a perfect thing that I can use rights for
- 17:31Speaker 2: the name of my business, and so that's how I
- 17:33Speaker 2: named my practice the Healing Kingdom, and a lot of
- 17:38Speaker 2: people liked it.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Actually, yeah, absolutely, it's a wonderful, wonderful title. As a
- 17:43Speaker 1: spiritual counselor and professional astrologist, you've been helping clients access
- 17:47Speaker 1: their intuition and individual power for several years. How do
- 17:52Speaker 1: tarot and oracle readings support this work?
- 17:56Speaker 2: So astrology to me, really it's like a foundation app
- 18:00Speaker 2: for my clients. It's a little bit like, you know,
- 18:04Speaker 2: we have something to study, we have something to use
- 18:07Speaker 2: as a base for our counseling session. Because someone's natal
- 18:11Speaker 2: charge will review certain psychological patterns and certain archetypes actually
- 18:17Speaker 2: in them. But because we go through life, you know,
- 18:20Speaker 2: in different stages and different phases, terrold and cards would
- 18:25Speaker 2: be able to give me a more precise, uh indication
- 18:30Speaker 2: about what the client is going through. And so what
- 18:33Speaker 2: really is happening in the session is we're using the astrology,
- 18:38Speaker 2: you know, to tell me something about this person's life,
- 18:41Speaker 2: lifetime patterns where they were true they brought from their
- 18:44Speaker 2: previous life into this lifetime right, which we can you know,
- 18:48Speaker 2: look at their old habits, their tendencies, right, the so
- 18:53Speaker 2: called the comfort zone right that they tend to be in.
- 18:56Speaker 2: And then with the tarrot and the cards reading, we're
- 18:59Speaker 2: really looking at the specific energy that they are carrying
- 19:03Speaker 2: or the certain influence that they were receiving at the time,
- 19:08Speaker 2: which will give us a very holistic picture of the clients.
- 19:12Speaker 1: What makes your oracle cards stand out is their meditator.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I have to redo that. I apologize. Hold, yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: what makes your oracle cards stand out is their innovative
- 19:24Speaker 1: blend of astrology, mythology, and relevance to contemporary life and counseling.
- 19:30Speaker 1: How did you achieve this blend.
- 19:34Speaker 2: In one word, creativity the you know, not very precise answer. Actually,
- 19:41Speaker 2: so I always liked writing and reading mythic stories. Actually,
- 19:46Speaker 2: even though in the early days I never really connected
- 19:48Speaker 2: this with our human psychology. Actually, the first book that
- 19:52Speaker 2: I actually officially published was when I was eighteen years old.
- 19:57Speaker 2: We're talking about, you know, kind of like twenty five
- 20:00Speaker 2: something years ago. When I lived in China. I was
- 20:04Speaker 2: still a high school student, and that's when I started
- 20:06Speaker 2: writing myth writing fantasies. And my first book was published
- 20:11Speaker 2: back in two thousand and two, during my last year
- 20:14Speaker 2: in high school. And that was a sort of like
- 20:19Speaker 2: a fantasy novel. Yeah, it's a little bit like a
- 20:22Speaker 2: bit bit like Harry Potter, but with a Chinese theme,
- 20:25Speaker 2: you know what I mean. And actually I was very
- 20:27Speaker 2: lucky at that time. My writing was picked up by
- 20:30Speaker 2: a good publisher in China, and so they published it
- 20:33Speaker 2: back in twenty twenty two. Of course, everything was reading
- 20:37Speaker 2: in Chinese because at that time my English was not
- 20:39Speaker 2: that good. And so, you know, story writing and storytelling
- 20:46Speaker 2: they have always been part of my life. But when
- 20:49Speaker 2: I studied astrology, my first astrology teacher whom I met
- 20:53Speaker 2: in Sydney, you know, which I mentioned earlier, helped me
- 20:57Speaker 2: to connect stories with human psychology. You don't we're studying astrology.
- 21:04Speaker 2: My theater would always ask me to read the original
- 21:07Speaker 2: story in Iliod and Odyssey, you know, in those ancient stories,
- 21:13Speaker 2: and he will say, now you have read the stories about,
- 21:17Speaker 2: for example, Cronus or Saturn. Right now, coming back to astrology,
- 21:22Speaker 2: when we're analyzing someone's psychology, when you're seeing their natal
- 21:27Speaker 2: moon in conjunction with their natal son, what do you
- 21:30Speaker 2: think that means to you based on the story that
- 21:34Speaker 2: you have already read about Cronus or Saturn. And so
- 21:38Speaker 2: that's the time when I really was a I realized
- 21:42Speaker 2: that this this you know, intimate connection between ancient stories
- 21:48Speaker 2: and our human psychology. And that's how you know, this
- 21:52Speaker 2: inspired me this this whole time about writing stories and
- 21:55Speaker 2: uses in my you know, counseling practice.
- 21:59Speaker 1: My our guest is lttal Wong. His new deck is

- 23:41Speaker 1: Back on Destination Unlimited. My guest this week is ltal Wang.
- 23:45Speaker 1: We're going to be talking about his new book, Legends,
- 23:48Speaker 1: Heroes and Villain's oracle. But before we discuss that, let's
- 23:52Speaker 1: talk about the one we discussed the last time you
- 23:55Speaker 1: were on the Oracle of the Mythic Heroes, in which
- 23:59Speaker 1: you combined the strong crystals, zodiac signs, Greek and Roman mythology,
- 24:04Speaker 1: and much more. How are each of these divination tools
- 24:07Speaker 1: connected and how do they work together?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Oracle Mythic Heroes and Oracle Miss Celesta, these were really wow.
- 24:16Speaker 2: You know, how do I describe this? When I first
- 24:20Speaker 2: created them, I was really feeling that this is something
- 24:24Speaker 2: that I was meant to do because, you know, like
- 24:27Speaker 2: what I said, I really loved the mythology, and I
- 24:29Speaker 2: really wanted to bring mythology to a much larger audience.
- 24:35Speaker 2: The most oracle cars and terror cars are. You know,
- 24:40Speaker 2: you can find a lot of those cars with themes
- 24:42Speaker 2: like angels, mermaids, you know, me the witches, you know,
- 24:45Speaker 2: things like that, and I really wanted people to learn
- 24:49Speaker 2: more about myths, you know, about our ancient wisdoms. There's,
- 24:53Speaker 2: of course, there's nothing wrong with the mermaids where angels
- 24:55Speaker 2: and things like that. Understand that a lot of us
- 24:58Speaker 2: feel very drowne to those things. But there are not
- 25:02Speaker 2: enough mythology decks out there, especially when it comes to
- 25:07Speaker 2: the stories related to heroes. You know, we may have
- 25:11Speaker 2: heard of the name of the gods, right like Poseidon.
- 25:15Speaker 2: We may have heard of Athena, we may have heard
- 25:17Speaker 2: of you know, you know, Aphrodity. But when it comes
- 25:21Speaker 2: to the mortal heroes such as theseus hercules, such as
- 25:25Speaker 2: you know Jason, such as Atlanta, right, we might just
- 25:31Speaker 2: be a little bit like, oh, okay, but I don't
- 25:33Speaker 2: really know who they are and you know what they do.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And so my idea was ready to bring the mortal stories,
- 25:40Speaker 2: the hero stories alive, because we are mortals ourselves, and
- 25:45Speaker 2: I think a lot of the stories that we hear
- 25:48Speaker 2: and we read in mythology, it's really about the relationship
- 25:52Speaker 2: between mortals and the gods. It's about how we, you know,
- 25:56Speaker 2: deal with the so called the environment, because the so
- 25:59Speaker 2: called the gods, right, you know, the stories with Zeus,
- 26:01Speaker 2: with hero those are at the end of the day,
- 26:04Speaker 2: it's our environment. Those are the divine power out there,
- 26:08Speaker 2: and how do we connect ourselves with our environment. This,
- 26:11Speaker 2: you know, goes back to the first thing that we
- 26:13Speaker 2: discussed about, this relationship right between us and the universe
- 26:17Speaker 2: and that's really that was my real intention when I
- 26:21Speaker 2: created the mythic heroes. And that's why when you look
- 26:23Speaker 2: at the guide book usually I mean, I think for
- 26:27Speaker 2: our audience, right, you know, if you have to use
- 26:29Speaker 2: oracle decks, most of them actually don't have a very
- 26:32Speaker 2: sick guide book. They're usually maybe I don't know, fifty pages,
- 26:36Speaker 2: sixty pages if you have I don't know, maybe a
- 26:39Speaker 2: forty cars deck. And if you read Mythic Arcle of
- 26:42Speaker 2: the Mythic hero you will see I dedicated a lot
- 26:44Speaker 2: of time writing the stories with together the teaching after
- 26:50Speaker 2: the story, and so the guide what was two hundred
- 26:52Speaker 2: and fifty six pages for a forty cars deck, And
- 26:57Speaker 2: even to the point that when I was when we were,
- 26:59Speaker 2: you know, in a process of doing the editing with
- 27:01Speaker 2: the publisher, the publisher literally said to me, but that latue,
- 27:06Speaker 2: you're not publishing a book, you're publishing an oracle deck.
- 27:09Speaker 2: You have to reduce a workout. And so our original
- 27:13Speaker 2: writing was actually even more than the current guidebook. We
- 27:19Speaker 2: had to cut about fifteen to twenty percent writing so
- 27:24Speaker 2: that now you know, this guidebook can fit into the box.
- 27:27Speaker 2: And so one of the things I would really highly
- 27:29Speaker 2: recommend to my audience who would love to use Oracle
- 27:34Speaker 2: of the Music Heroes and the Oracle of the Celesti Deities,
- 27:37Speaker 2: is that please take your time to read the guidebook
- 27:40Speaker 2: as a story book. This is not just a guidebook
- 27:43Speaker 2: that just teach teaches you how to read the cards,
- 27:46Speaker 2: but there's much more information in it that can benefit you.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Absolutely. What inspired your brand new offering Legends, Heroes and
- 27:57Speaker 1: Villain's Oracle, A thirty six card deck and God book?
- 28:00Speaker 1: What inspired that?
- 28:02Speaker 2: Right? So one of the things, you know, I also
- 28:04Speaker 2: actually wrote this in the in the beginning chapter, the
- 28:09Speaker 2: first chapter of my Oracle back Legends, Heroes and Videos Oracle,
- 28:14Speaker 2: because I realized at the end of the mythology is
- 28:16Speaker 2: very closely related to our history. But because myth is
- 28:23Speaker 2: pretty much, I mean, myth is a version, a very
- 28:26Speaker 2: early a day version of our history. Right, And you're
- 28:30Speaker 2: talking about the stories of Hercules, Well, it's very interesting.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Did he really exist? Did he really have the twelve labors?
- 28:37Speaker 2: It's very funny. You know, years ago, when I was
- 28:39Speaker 2: traveling in Greece, I talked to this local Greek guy,
- 28:44Speaker 2: you know, who was my taxi driver, and he literally
- 28:46Speaker 2: asked me this question. He said, you know, because I
- 28:49Speaker 2: told him. You know, the reason why I was in
- 28:50Speaker 2: Greece was because I wanted to visit those ancient ruins, right,
- 28:54Speaker 2: and to trace the ancient stories of those heroes. And
- 28:58Speaker 2: he said, do you actually believe Hercules existed? And I said,
- 29:03Speaker 2: I would like to believe it, right because I study mythology.
- 29:06Speaker 2: But do you believe in it because you are Greek
- 29:09Speaker 2: and you grew up in this culture. And he paused
- 29:11Speaker 2: a second and he said, actually we do, but we
- 29:15Speaker 2: think it might just be an exaggerated version of the
- 29:19Speaker 2: real history. He said, probably there was a very very
- 29:21Speaker 2: strong guy whose name was Hercules, and he had to
- 29:24Speaker 2: go through all the you know, the Rick Moreau, the
- 29:28Speaker 2: heart labor in order to find his enlightenment. But maybe
- 29:32Speaker 2: as human being, when we're telling the stories generation after generation,
- 29:35Speaker 2: we gave a little bit more colors, we gave a
- 29:38Speaker 2: little bit more details, right with our human imagination. And
- 29:41Speaker 2: so at the end of the day, you know, back
- 29:43Speaker 2: to your question, I think mythology is history, and so
- 29:47Speaker 2: when I created legends, heroes and villain's article, I wanted
- 29:51Speaker 2: to write stories based on our history, a more modern
- 29:57Speaker 2: day history, and that's why when you look at the
- 30:02Speaker 2: each card, you will find people who actually lived very
- 30:05Speaker 2: close to our modern time. For example, even the first
- 30:08Speaker 2: chapter dedicated to the zod excite areas, I have got
- 30:12Speaker 2: Steve Jobs some mean who merely passed away I think
- 30:16Speaker 2: maybe ten years ago or something like that. As you
- 30:18Speaker 2: remember when I was a student we had to study
- 30:20Speaker 2: his commencement speech at a Stanford University. Was you know,
- 30:24Speaker 2: it's almost like just happened yesterday. But we also have
- 30:28Speaker 2: some ancient heroes in this deck, for example John of
- 30:31Speaker 2: Arc for example, we have uh someone okay, more of
- 30:37Speaker 2: we have Isiac Newton right in the chapter for Gemini.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And we also have some you know, a lot of
- 30:45Speaker 2: either heroes or villains who lived within the past one
- 30:48Speaker 2: hundred years, for example Harriet Tubman, which is on the
- 30:51Speaker 2: cover of the box the Oracle deck box, Marie Curie
- 30:57Speaker 2: who seen his discovery. And I think this the artcle
- 31:01Speaker 2: that could be very inspirational for us to learn things
- 31:04Speaker 2: from people who we feel more uh you know, connected with,
- 31:08Speaker 2: because probably we studied them when we were in school, right,
- 31:12Speaker 2: Probably we heard about their stories on TV, were on
- 31:15Speaker 2: radio shows, et cetera, et cetera.
- 31:17Speaker 1: So this is my intention when I created the deck,
- 31:20Speaker 1: and I must say the art work is absolutely magnificent
- 31:24Speaker 1: in both in the deck and in the directory. Who
- 31:26Speaker 1: did the artwork for you?
- 31:28Speaker 2: So the art work was done by the Chinese artist
- 31:30Speaker 2: whose name was Tao Jan. He was introduced to me
- 31:34Speaker 2: by a friend of mine. Because when I was thinking about,
- 31:37Speaker 2: you know, creating this deck, I wanted the artist to
- 31:40Speaker 2: be a different style. You know, if you look at
- 31:42Speaker 2: Oracle of the Mythic Heroes and the Oracle of the
- 31:45Speaker 2: Celestial Deities, there were more like fantasy type, you know,
- 31:50Speaker 2: a little bit comical of fantasy, because I mean, at
- 31:53Speaker 2: the end of the day, mythology is a little bit
- 31:55Speaker 2: like you know, they're so ancient, right, And when I
- 31:59Speaker 2: was creating this deck, I want them to be more realistic. Right.
- 32:02Speaker 2: For example, when I write the chapter for Thomas Edison,
- 32:05Speaker 2: I want the art to actually look like him rather
- 32:08Speaker 2: than a comic character. So and that's how you know,
- 32:12Speaker 2: I had to find a different artist, and I was
- 32:14Speaker 2: introduced to Tao jannod was very good at doing, you know,
- 32:18Speaker 2: art in a very realistic way, and that's how you
- 32:21Speaker 2: know our collaboration started.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Now, the actual people, the figures the characters that you
- 32:27Speaker 1: employ in this are the chapters set up according to
- 32:32Speaker 1: their birth signs.
- 32:34Speaker 2: No, they're not. They're actually based on the lessons that
- 32:36Speaker 2: we're learning from them. Yeah. So for example, Steve Jobs
- 32:41Speaker 2: that you have to look at the keyword, right, The
- 32:42Speaker 2: keyword for him is pioneer, and pioneer is a very
- 32:46Speaker 2: important quality based on the lodic sign Areas because Areas
- 32:51Speaker 2: energy is about being the first person. It's the first
- 32:54Speaker 2: zodic sign on our astrological wheel. So this is about
- 32:58Speaker 2: you know, being the pioneer, you know, taking the first
- 33:01Speaker 2: step into something, making the first boat, move into innovation,
- 33:07Speaker 2: into creation, things like that.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so you have Steve Jobs, tell us about Confucius.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Weird, it's confusion. Also, it's in the type of Virgo, right, Yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 2: So one of the intriesting things about Virgo energy is
- 33:22Speaker 2: that Virgo has a lot to deal with virtue, because
- 33:26Speaker 2: Virgo energy has a lot to deal with our service,
- 33:28Speaker 2: you know, how we dedicate ourselves to the society. Because
- 33:32Speaker 2: some that even as a negative trend. You know people
- 33:35Speaker 2: know about Virgo is they're very very precise, right, They're
- 33:38Speaker 2: very detail oriented, to the point that sometimes we might
- 33:41Speaker 2: even find it a little bit unnecessary the way they
- 33:44Speaker 2: organize things, where they control things. But at the end
- 33:48Speaker 2: of the day, I do believe that virgo as a
- 33:49Speaker 2: zoetic sign they bring to our society is very very
- 33:53Speaker 2: important lesson about being virtuous and doing the right thing
- 33:57Speaker 2: and know that we have our own sense of responsibility.
- 34:01Speaker 2: So Confucius was a very typical example of that because
- 34:05Speaker 2: he was an ancient philosopher in China, and even these days,
- 34:09Speaker 2: I mean, Confucius still influences a lot of different cultures,
- 34:13Speaker 2: not just in Chinese culture, and typically, for example, the
- 34:16Speaker 2: Korean culture is very much influenced by the Confucius teachings.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And so I wanted to as you can see in
- 34:25Speaker 2: the guide book, the thirty six characters are from all
- 34:31Speaker 2: over the world, right. Some of them are from North America,
- 34:34Speaker 2: some of them were from China, some of them are
- 34:36Speaker 2: from you know, Middle East, or from Russia, or from Africa,
- 34:42Speaker 2: or from South America, from Europe, everywhere, And so I
- 34:45Speaker 2: really wanted to bring different types of how do I
- 34:51Speaker 2: see this, different types of contribution right that people can
- 34:54Speaker 2: make to the humanity, And Confucius was one of the
- 34:58Speaker 2: characters that I chose from Chinese culture.
- 35:02Speaker 1: And In addition to all of these men, you also
- 35:05Speaker 1: have some wonderful women. You had mentioned Harriet Tubman. Who
- 35:08Speaker 1: are some of the other women in this so.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Okay, so one of my There are quite a few, actually, yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 2: so we're talking of, for example, Yoshko Yamaguchi, which is actually
- 35:18Speaker 2: my favorite in this. I was so excited about writing her.
- 35:21Speaker 2: We can talk about that later because I was very
- 35:24Speaker 2: very into her contribution to humanity. So we got Yushko Yamaguchi,
- 35:30Speaker 2: who was sort of like a half Japanese half Chinese
- 35:34Speaker 2: character from the Second World War. We have Cleopetra. We
- 35:38Speaker 2: had Eva Perron from South America, from Argentina. We also
- 35:42Speaker 2: have a Marie Curi, the scientist right who discovered the radium.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Who else? We have Lenar Roosevelt right, who was very
- 35:52Speaker 2: very famous in American history as well. So I would
- 35:54Speaker 2: say probably we have almost half and maybe you know,
- 35:58Speaker 2: forty percent of the the heroes and legends who are
- 36:02Speaker 2: female in this uh in this deck, which you know
- 36:07Speaker 2: is very very important, A lot of the important women,
- 36:09Speaker 2: they made such important contribution to the development of society.
- 36:13Speaker 2: And I think it's important also for girls, teenage girl
- 36:16Speaker 2: to read this A guide book right to use this
- 36:19Speaker 2: deck so that they can also find their own, you know,
- 36:22Speaker 2: a female idol or someone that they want to learn
- 36:25Speaker 2: from you as a woman.
- 36:27Speaker 1: And the same question, but this time the villains. Who
- 36:31Speaker 1: are the villains and what do we learn from them?
- 36:33Speaker 3: Oh?
- 36:35Speaker 2: Well we learned their mistakes? Yeah, as simple as that. Right. Well,
- 36:40Speaker 2: on the box we have Charles Poonzi. The keyword for
- 36:43Speaker 2: him is greed. I mean he's a very you know,
- 36:45Speaker 2: infamous person. Why an't we We know who he was,
- 36:49Speaker 2: and that's how we you know, got the so called
- 36:51Speaker 2: pun skill.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:53Speaker 2: And we also have got for example, let's see other
- 36:58Speaker 2: villains we have in here who we have Joseph studying
- 37:01Speaker 2: and the keyword is control. Uh. And we also have
- 37:05Speaker 2: Fritz harp Haber. Right, it's actually a German name. I
- 37:10Speaker 2: don't know if a lot of you our audience know
- 37:12Speaker 2: who he was.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Uh.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Fritz Haber was actually a very famous scientist uh in chemistry.
- 37:20Speaker 2: He actually was the one who made great contribution to
- 37:23Speaker 2: our scientific research in uh in chemistry and you know,
- 37:29Speaker 2: even in our agriculture. But the problem was that he
- 37:32Speaker 2: also used his knowledge to develop chemical weapons during the
- 37:37Speaker 2: First World War and his belief was that if we
- 37:41Speaker 2: can win the war to uh, you know, for our
- 37:43Speaker 2: sense of nationalism, then it's okay to kill people with
- 37:46Speaker 2: chemical weapons. And so that's his that's that's how his
- 37:50Speaker 2: life kind of like you know, just kind of diverted
- 37:53Speaker 2: into a round track, kind of like you know, sidetracked.
- 37:57Speaker 2: And so he was also one of the villains that
- 38:00Speaker 2: I was writing in the uh in the book. And
- 38:03Speaker 2: also one more person I can mention is Maximilian Robert Spear,
- 38:09Speaker 2: who was a very important leader in this French revolution,
- 38:13Speaker 2: but he's Kellard. It was extremism, and as you can imagine,
- 38:17Speaker 2: when revolution goes to extreme, it becomes a bloody battlefield,
- 38:22Speaker 2: and that almost becomes a little bit like an ideology,
- 38:25Speaker 2: a very destted ideology, right, it's about, you know, we
- 38:28Speaker 2: kill everyone who is not agreeing with our ideology, with
- 38:32Speaker 2: what our what we believe in. And so his ideology
- 38:35Speaker 2: was also very very extreme, even though his you know,
- 38:38Speaker 2: his intention was right at the very beginning, it was about,
- 38:41Speaker 2: you know, building a democratic country. It was about you know,
- 38:44Speaker 2: ending the silver of the kings and the queens and
- 38:46Speaker 2: we need the republic. But then later he went to
- 38:48Speaker 2: extreme and he probably you know, he killed more people
- 38:52Speaker 2: than than the king and the queens of France, you
- 38:54Speaker 2: know what I mean. And so that was also one
- 38:56Speaker 2: of the villains that I put in the book. And
- 38:58Speaker 2: I think at the end of the day, you know, when
- 39:00Speaker 2: we look at all these villains and heroes in the
- 39:03Speaker 2: uh Ugudible, and they're all from different times of history.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Some of them are from very very ancient times. Some
- 39:10Speaker 2: of them are literally they lived maybe fifty sixty years ago.
- 39:14Speaker 2: And this is really the point when I created this
- 39:17Speaker 2: or deck. I really want us to see how history happened,
- 39:21Speaker 2: and even after thousands of years, we're still learning the
- 39:24Speaker 2: same lessons.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Can you give us a simple reading?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Okay, So actually I have the deck of cars next
- 39:33Speaker 2: to me. What shall we ask? What should we do?
- 39:38Speaker 1: Here's here's a question that I would ask in conjunction
- 39:42Speaker 1: with what's happening in the world right now? Are we
- 39:45Speaker 1: going to see a return to loving kindness in this world?
- 39:48Speaker 2: Great question? Okay, So I'm gonna shuffle my cars right so,
- 39:52Speaker 2: I don't know if you can hear me shuffling. Let's
- 39:55Speaker 2: focus on return to a world. Could you say that again,
- 39:59Speaker 2: was in the world.
- 40:00Speaker 1: A world of kindness? Human kindness? Caring for another.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Very good. Okay, the kindness love, thank you very much. Right,
- 40:07Speaker 2: give me one message, thank you universe. Interesting. So the
- 40:11Speaker 2: card that I put out says Nicolaus Copernicious and the
- 40:16Speaker 2: keyword is truth. We can find this card which is
- 40:24Speaker 2: under the in the chapter for Sagittarius. Uh. Nicolas Copernicus
- 40:30Speaker 2: was actually an astrologer, not astrolgogery, but what do you
- 40:34Speaker 2: call that? Astronomer right back in the sixteenth century, and
- 40:38Speaker 2: his dedication was to discover that actually, you know, we're
- 40:42Speaker 2: not living in the universe that is earth centric, but
- 40:46Speaker 2: more solar centric. We are going around the sun. The
- 40:49Speaker 2: Sun does not go around us. And this is the
- 40:51Speaker 2: typical story that we hear about him. And so the
- 40:54Speaker 2: keyword for this card is truth, meaning that we have
- 40:57Speaker 2: to really understand what is real in our lives and
- 41:00Speaker 2: we can't pretend that we are leading in the delusion
- 41:04Speaker 2: or in a lie that we tell ourselves every day.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I think to answer the question that you just said
- 41:09Speaker 2: about in a return to the world of kindness, we
- 41:12Speaker 2: really have to really leave our lives. We look at
- 41:14Speaker 2: our society from an authentic perspective, rather than leave our
- 41:18Speaker 2: lives based on certain ideology that we think that which
- 41:21Speaker 2: is you know, correct or what is right for us?
- 41:24Speaker 2: And I think at the end of the day, these
- 41:26Speaker 2: could just encarnias to really look at or authentic self
- 41:29Speaker 2: at the end of that, where is your authenticity in
- 41:32Speaker 2: this and where is the authenticity of our society or
- 41:36Speaker 2: of our community, what is our real intention, what we're
- 41:39Speaker 2: really trying to build? And also because you know, Nicolaus
- 41:44Speaker 2: Gobernigas discovered the lie right that we have been telling
- 41:48Speaker 2: ourselves we have been the Church has been telling us
- 41:51Speaker 2: that we are earth centric. Everything goes around the earth,
- 41:53Speaker 2: the earth for thousands of years, so this could also
- 41:57Speaker 2: be a good indication telling that step when you realiz
- 42:00Speaker 2: that certain things is alive, please don't be shy to
- 42:03Speaker 2: voice it out. Please bring the authenticity to the world.
- 42:07Speaker 2: And everybody has a voice.
- 42:10Speaker 1: And as the foundation of every religion has in it
- 42:14Speaker 1: a version of the Golden rule, doing to others as
- 42:16Speaker 1: you have them doing to you, Love thy neighbor as thyself.
- 42:20Speaker 1: If we all did that, what a world it would be.
- 42:23Speaker 2: One hundred percent you know, like at the end of
- 42:25Speaker 2: the day, I also think that you know the reason
- 42:27Speaker 2: why humans created religion because of love you know, we
- 42:32Speaker 2: wanted to create something because we believe that there's something
- 42:36Speaker 2: that has to guide us. Right, whether whatever you know
- 42:39Speaker 2: religious believe that you have, maybe you believe in the
- 42:41Speaker 2: Christian God, or maybe for a certain authing you believe in,
- 42:45Speaker 2: you know, a Islamic God, or maybe you're you're believe
- 42:48Speaker 2: in Hinduism or Buddhism. Right at the end of the day,
- 42:51Speaker 2: the religion was created, I think was because we needed
- 42:54Speaker 2: some kind of guidance, we needed a faith in our lives.
- 42:57Speaker 2: So the intention was always good. But sometimes when we
- 43:02Speaker 2: are developing certain things, then we mix it up with
- 43:06Speaker 2: certain ideology or certain even selfish beliefs that we have,
- 43:11Speaker 2: and then we try to use religion to achieve our
- 43:13Speaker 2: own goal, and that's when the authenticity is lost. And
- 43:17Speaker 2: so I think sometimes we just have to really go
- 43:20Speaker 2: back to the basics and be like, Okay, what is
- 43:22Speaker 2: the truth of this and what is the truth of
- 43:24Speaker 2: us starting this anyway?
- 43:26Speaker 1: Absolutely, My guest is latal Wong. We'll be back with
- 43:29Speaker 1: more after these words on the Own Times Radio network.

- 44:15Speaker 5: and get this, she even talks to it. Last week

- 44:22Speaker 5: up Like magic, humans have cool toys.

- 44:26Speaker 6: shelter pet, be that person adopt.

- 44:34Speaker 6: Hi, this is Bill Mark. I can find humor in
- 44:36Speaker 6: almost anything, but one thing I never laugh about. It's
- 44:38Speaker 6: cruelty to animals. If you don't get the joke either, right,
- 44:42Speaker 6: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals five on one
- 44:45Speaker 6: Front Street in Norfolk, Virginia two three five one oh.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Back on destination unlimited. My guest this week Lutao Wang,
- 44:53Speaker 1: who are talking about Legends, Heroes and Villain's Oracle, a
- 44:57Speaker 1: thirty six card deck and guidebook which sounds absolutely wonderful,
- 45:01Speaker 1: and just remind listeners one more time where can they
- 45:03Speaker 1: get that? And one will be available?
- 45:06Speaker 2: So Legends Heis and Villain's Arcle will be released on
- 45:11Speaker 2: May the fifth, twenty twenty sixth this year, and we
- 45:15Speaker 2: can easily get this deck of cars from Amazon or
- 45:18Speaker 2: if you have you know your local New Age shops
- 45:21Speaker 2: terror shops, I think you can easily find it. Is
- 45:23Speaker 2: published by Beyond Words Publishing and distributed by Simon and
- 45:27Speaker 2: Schuster globally.
- 45:28Speaker 1: And this will be available route right now for pre order.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 45:31Speaker 2: Correct? Yeah, you can already pre ordered on Amazon now.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Oh, very wonderful. Thank you for sharing that. What would
- 45:37Speaker 1: you say has been the biggest challenge in your career
- 45:39Speaker 1: as a spiritual counselor.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Ooh, the most I guess. So. The biggest challenge I
- 45:51Speaker 2: would say so far, especially in personal personal counseling session,
- 45:55Speaker 2: is to really understand that sometimes as a guy for
- 46:00Speaker 2: the clients, we can't really change their lives based on
- 46:06Speaker 2: how we want it. To be all the time, because
- 46:10Speaker 2: at the end of the day, you know, our clients
- 46:12Speaker 2: are also adults, and they make their own decisions in
- 46:16Speaker 2: their lives. And you know, the most difficult thing that
- 46:20Speaker 2: I've had was to counsel a client for about two years.
- 46:24Speaker 2: But sometimes they're still, you know, going kind of circling
- 46:29Speaker 2: back to the same pattern and experience the same thing.
- 46:33Speaker 2: And it's kind of like as as a counselor or
- 46:38Speaker 2: as their therapist, it's also very heart wrenching for me
- 46:41Speaker 2: to see that because you know, at the end of
- 46:44Speaker 2: the day, they are really I guess you know, they
- 46:48Speaker 2: have the intention to to to change and to improve
- 46:52Speaker 2: and to leave your you know, the old patterns and
- 46:55Speaker 2: sheddy old skins. But somehow they're still circling back to
- 46:58Speaker 2: the old story again. And I think that's the most
- 47:02Speaker 2: challenging thing that I see in my daily counseling session,
- 47:06Speaker 2: and that's the time sometime when I realize that well,
- 47:08Speaker 2: as a therapist, you know, there is also some kind
- 47:12Speaker 2: of confinement that what we can do for our clients.
- 47:15Speaker 2: But having said that, of course, that's just a very
- 47:19Speaker 2: very small amount of clients who are like that. Most
- 47:22Speaker 2: people who are able to use their determination and their
- 47:27Speaker 2: discipline right, and you know they will keep reminding themselves
- 47:33Speaker 2: to do their spiritual work, their journaling, their meditation, and
- 47:37Speaker 2: thus they will be able to bring improvement and a
- 47:41Speaker 2: transformation to their lives after a period of time of
- 47:45Speaker 2: counseling and therapy.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I believe the Chinese New Year is coming up a
- 47:50Speaker 1: week on the February seventeenth, which is a little less
- 47:53Speaker 1: than a week from tonight when we're airing this show,
- 47:56Speaker 1: tell us what year is this?
- 47:58Speaker 2: This year is going to be the year of the
- 48:01Speaker 2: fire horse. Actually we have already entered the year of
- 48:04Speaker 2: the fire horse. Yeah, this is by the way, it's
- 48:06Speaker 2: just a very interesting thing to mention you. Actually the
- 48:10Speaker 2: Chinese ldig sign does not change based on Chinese New
- 48:14Speaker 2: Year day, but it is actually every years based on
- 48:16Speaker 2: the first day of the first day of the spring
- 48:21Speaker 2: spring each year and the springtime the so this first
- 48:24Speaker 2: day of spring is based on the Chinese stolar calendar
- 48:27Speaker 2: agriculture calendar, so usually it starts on Fairry the fourth,
- 48:31Speaker 2: So literally today, I mean we are already in the
- 48:34Speaker 2: year of the fire Horse.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and what does the fire horse represent?
- 48:39Speaker 2: So the fire horse energy is it's quite a different one,
- 48:44Speaker 2: because you know, we just transformed ourselves from the year
- 48:48Speaker 2: of the ood Snake twenty twenty five to the fire
- 48:51Speaker 2: horse energy and effect. Horse is already an animal of
- 48:55Speaker 2: fire in Chinese sostroology, right, it naturally carries the element
- 48:59Speaker 2: of fire, and in the heavenly stem we have the
- 49:02Speaker 2: fire element as well, and that's why this year is
- 49:06Speaker 2: called the fire horse year rather than you know, metal
- 49:10Speaker 2: horse or water horse. And so when we have the
- 49:13Speaker 2: heavenly stam fire and the earthly branch also fire, which
- 49:18Speaker 2: is horse, this year we are actually seeing a lot
- 49:21Speaker 2: of this fire energy, and the inspirituality of fire rules
- 49:25Speaker 2: our creativity, our inspirations, our passion, our enthusiasm, and also
- 49:31Speaker 2: that sudden spark of a breeding idea. So I think
- 49:34Speaker 2: in a good way, the fire horse is kind of
- 49:36Speaker 2: like encouraging us to gallop, to move forward with our passion,
- 49:40Speaker 2: with our authentic, you know, encusiasm, and to really translate
- 49:46Speaker 2: those ideas that we had in the previous cycle into
- 49:50Speaker 2: more decisive action. But we also have to be a
- 49:53Speaker 2: little bit careful because excessive fire energy sometimes can be
- 49:57Speaker 2: a little bit risky, especially this year in the Western
- 50:00Speaker 2: astrology we're seeing both Saturn and Neptune forming a conjunction
- 50:05Speaker 2: in areas. Now Areas is also a fire sign. In
- 50:08Speaker 2: Western astrology, Saturn is life lessons. So to use a
- 50:13Speaker 2: symbolism of the fire horse. See, riding a horse is exciting,
- 50:18Speaker 2: it's fast, it's exciting, it's fun. But also you will
- 50:24Speaker 2: never want to want your child to a little child
- 50:27Speaker 2: or to stand too close behind a horse, because it
- 50:30Speaker 2: could be dangerous. A horse they can kick and they
- 50:33Speaker 2: can be quite deadly as well. And so this year,
- 50:37Speaker 2: the most important theme I think is to let yourself gallop,
- 50:40Speaker 2: but make sure that you're very very focused what is
- 50:45Speaker 2: actually in front of you, and keep your hands on
- 50:48Speaker 2: the ring and pace yourself and that will help you
- 50:51Speaker 2: move forward without much glitch. The fire horse energy sometimes
- 50:56Speaker 2: can really be aggressive. Actually, actually in Chinese astrology we
- 51:01Speaker 2: have this saying that each because the fire horse energy
- 51:05Speaker 2: only comes to us once every sixty years, and usually
- 51:10Speaker 2: when we have the fire horse year, it can be
- 51:12Speaker 2: a little bit chaotic. So that's what I mean by
- 51:15Speaker 2: we have to be very aware and to be very
- 51:20Speaker 2: just to be very persipicacious about what's really happening within
- 51:23Speaker 2: annous in our psychology and the people around us. Like
- 51:26Speaker 2: sixty years ago. The last time we had the fire
- 51:28Speaker 2: horse energy, it was nineteen sixty six, and that was
- 51:32Speaker 2: the beginning point of the Culture Revolution in China, which
- 51:36Speaker 2: was a very very devastating and chaotic time in Chinese society.
- 51:40Speaker 2: And sixty year before that, it was the time when
- 51:44Speaker 2: the Eight Western Powers invaded into the Forbidden City and
- 51:49Speaker 2: forced the Aching dynasty. The emperor designed an unequal treaty
- 51:54Speaker 2: with them. And so you know, in Chinese history, when
- 51:57Speaker 2: we look at the fire horse year, we really have
- 52:00Speaker 2: to be very aware of what's happening. Keep your horse running,
- 52:03Speaker 2: but keep your hands on the ray. That's it.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Wonderful advice. Now, from the standpoint of Western astrology, how
- 52:10Speaker 1: is the energy of twenty twenty six different from twenty
- 52:14Speaker 1: twenty five.
- 52:16Speaker 2: So one of the good things about twenty twenty six
- 52:21Speaker 2: in Western astrologies that we're having a jubiter moving into Leo,
- 52:25Speaker 2: which is actually again a fire sign. It just filled
- 52:28Speaker 2: with fire energy. Actually, Tributar lose expansion, growth and opportunities.
- 52:33Speaker 2: And you know our faith right positivity, positivity, positive mind,
- 52:38Speaker 2: and Leo lose creativity again, creativity, entertainment. You know fun. Also,
- 52:44Speaker 2: it lose our inner child children. So Leo moves into
- 52:50Speaker 2: sorry Tubilar moves into Leo could be very beneficial for
- 52:54Speaker 2: our society when it comes to children. This could be
- 52:57Speaker 2: very beneficial when it comes to entertainment industry, movies, music,
- 53:02Speaker 2: concert right, creative expressions, right comedies, you know, all these
- 53:08Speaker 2: kinds of things that we enjoy as our entertainment activity
- 53:13Speaker 2: or me even you know, music and theaters. Those things
- 53:16Speaker 2: are all ruled by Leo. So when Jubiter moves into Leo,
- 53:18Speaker 2: it keeps expansion and breakthroughs in things like that, our
- 53:22Speaker 2: creativity art as well, right painting. And the lesson that
- 53:26Speaker 2: we need to learn is when Satura and Neptune forming
- 53:29Speaker 2: this conjunction in areas. That's very interesting because I talked
- 53:34Speaker 2: about this with another astronogery the other day on a
- 53:36Speaker 2: different podcast. Because Neptune loses illusion and dreams and idealism,
- 53:42Speaker 2: but Satura a lose reality. It rules our discipline in
- 53:47Speaker 2: a way, it also lose our truth. So when these
- 53:49Speaker 2: two things come together in areas, it's about finding the
- 53:53Speaker 2: balance between what is our delusion, what is our dreams
- 53:58Speaker 2: and versus what is real? Uh, what is practical, practical,
- 54:01Speaker 2: you know, practical for us and what is our responsibility?
- 54:05Speaker 2: And so this year, because these two planets are conjumping
- 54:08Speaker 2: in areas, areas use our leadership, and so this year,
- 54:13Speaker 2: I think that we're gonna see a lot of these balancing.
- 54:17Speaker 2: We're rebalancing in our leaders. For example, Uh, this could
- 54:21Speaker 2: be about our CEOs CFOs of big corporate what kind
- 54:26Speaker 2: of decisions they're making. We can also look at our
- 54:30Speaker 2: leaders on the world stage, you know, our president, our
- 54:34Speaker 2: prime ministers, how they what kind of decisions they make
- 54:39Speaker 2: based on their I mean, sorry to say, their delusion
- 54:43Speaker 2: versus what is actually practical and what is actually real
- 54:46Speaker 2: and what is the real sense of responsibility that they
- 54:50Speaker 2: can uh demonstrate to us. And I believe that by
- 54:54Speaker 2: the end of the year, we will see a lot
- 54:55Speaker 2: of examples. Uh.
- 54:57Speaker 1: In that wonderful my guest Taiwan his book and his
- 55:02Speaker 1: deck Legends, Heroes and Villain's Oracle, a thirty six card
