- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome in it. This is the final day
- 0:01Speaker 1: of July. If you can believe that the thirty first,
- 0:05Speaker 1: we are, well, we're almost two football, which is why
- 0:08Speaker 1: we're gonna talk a little football. Coming up today, We're
- 0:11Speaker 1: gonna break down the AFC East for you here, give
- 0:15Speaker 1: you some of our thoughts and maybe a bet or two.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We got some predictive markets, we got a parlay of
- 0:22Speaker 1: the day. We've got well, aren't the Caesar back in
- 0:27Speaker 1: the house ready to go? Here today? Brian Power manages
- 0:31Speaker 1: to show up like a bad rash. Always a pleasure
- 0:34Speaker 1: to see you, gentlemen. Aren't always good. I kid ubp.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I thought they made a cream for that. So let's
- 0:42Speaker 1: talk here a little bit. We've got some news this morning.
- 0:45Speaker 1: It looks like trade deadline is on Monday. But we
- 0:49Speaker 1: just saw Casey Mize get taken down against the Athletics tonight,
- 0:53Speaker 1: which I guess the rumors are that he's likely already
- 0:59Speaker 1: gonna be traded. Now, if you're trading Casey Miz, call
- 1:03Speaker 1: me crazy art school ball likely not that far behind then, right?
- 1:08Speaker 1: Is it starting to tear down here for the Detroit Tigers?
- 1:11Speaker 2: You think you would think so? I mean Obviously, the
- 1:14Speaker 2: school deal is probably a little bit more difficult to
- 1:17Speaker 2: you know, make happen than the Casey Wins deal. A
- 1:20Speaker 2: lot of moving parts. With schoobl you got to probably
- 1:22Speaker 2: put a lot in there to get him. But yeah,
- 1:25Speaker 2: I mean we're gonna start seeing this over these next
- 1:27Speaker 2: couple of days, like you said, with Monday being the
- 1:29Speaker 2: trade deadline. But this is what makes it a lot
- 1:32Speaker 2: of fun if you're a Major League Baseball fan.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean BP, let's be honest here. It changes
- 1:38Speaker 1: the scope of some of these teams here a little bit.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I mean I'm starting to read a lot of quotes
- 1:43Speaker 1: from guys being like, yeah, it's a little different going
- 1:46Speaker 1: into the clubhouse, like not know if we're going to
- 1:48Speaker 1: be here or not, you know, come Monday. So I
- 1:52Speaker 1: guess tread carefully, maybe, especially with teams that could very
- 1:56Speaker 1: well be sellers here, right. Yeah.
- 1:59Speaker 3: We talked about on yesterday's show how some of these
- 2:02Speaker 3: teams it's tough to identify if they're going to be
- 2:04Speaker 3: a buyer or seller this weekend at the trade deadline.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So many teams kind of hovering around that five hundred mark.
- 2:10Speaker 3: There's very few teams that I would say are absolutely
- 2:13Speaker 3: out of contention, maybe six or seven between the two leagues,
- 2:16Speaker 3: and you've only got a handful of teams at the top.
- 2:19Speaker 3: By the way, you talk about how things could change wildly.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Imagine if schoobl goes to the Dodgers, which is being
- 2:27Speaker 3: heavily rumored right now. I mean, that would just I mean,
- 2:30Speaker 3: what would the Dodgers. I mean, imagine what the price
- 2:32Speaker 3: on the Dodgers is going to be. We were reviewing
- 2:34Speaker 3: to make the playoffs yesterday. You know that's crazy, man.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I hope he goes somewhere else besides La anywhere else, literally,
- 2:41Speaker 3: any other team besides Dodger Blue.
- 2:43Speaker 1: If I'm the Dodgers, what do I give a rip?
- 2:46Speaker 1: I mean, I don't care. Yes, yes, I mean everything
- 2:50Speaker 1: is changing January first, anyway, you might as well and listen.
- 2:54Speaker 1: If I'm the Dodgers more than anything else. If he's
- 2:57Speaker 1: pitching for me, he's not pitching against us, go for it.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I mean, that's to me, that's that's what it's all about.
- 3:05Speaker 1: But we got plenty of Major League baseball here tonight.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Had to cry my way through watching the Yankees lose
- 3:13Speaker 1: again in extra innings by walking into winning run to Art,
- 3:17Speaker 1: but how did the books do over all yesterday?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Well, it was a funny night, right, I mean, obviously
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yankees lose, but and you had a bunch of favorites
- 3:25Speaker 2: who ended up winning. You know, the Mets were a favorite,
- 3:28Speaker 2: the Braves were a favorite, Dodgers were a favorite. And
- 3:31Speaker 2: then I think we all saw every game went under.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I mean one a night. I mean, you know, it's
- 3:38Speaker 2: one of those nights where ten games they all seem
- 3:40Speaker 2: to go under. You know, you would think with all
- 3:46Speaker 2: the unders it would be good because you know, like
- 3:50Speaker 2: I said, people always bet overs, the public always bets over.
- 3:53Speaker 2: So despite you know, a couple of these favorites and
- 3:56Speaker 2: popular favorites winning, you throw the Yankees in there losing.
- 3:59Speaker 2: That's gotta be a formula.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be interesting, to say the least, I
- 4:05Speaker 1: think here over the next couple of days. But we
- 4:09Speaker 1: do have once again some interesting situational spots in Major
- 4:14Speaker 1: League Baseball today. Anytime you get teams with the extra
- 4:19Speaker 1: innings and bullpens and questions, yeah, there, it's gonna be
- 4:24Speaker 1: interesting today. A lot of value on the board and
- 4:27Speaker 1: a lot of big name pitchers, schemes, Hunter Green on
- 4:30Speaker 1: the mound, there Hunter Brown of Valdi Imminaga. I mean
- 4:35Speaker 1: you go down the list. There's a lot of a
- 4:38Speaker 1: lot of big names here on this list to they are.
- 4:41Speaker 1: So tell me, sharp Wise, what are you seeing? You
- 4:44Speaker 1: hearing anything? Yeah?
- 4:46Speaker 2: A couple of things sharp wives for baseball, and I'll
- 4:49Speaker 2: throw you a couple WNBA totals in baseball. They're on
- 4:52Speaker 2: the Nationals. And then they laid the run in a
- 4:54Speaker 2: half with the Blue Jays because of cease in the WNBA.
- 4:58Speaker 2: They took over one to seventy seven them with the
- 5:00Speaker 2: Dream they took under one sixty nine with the Mystics.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Ooh you get that in there, BP get your w
- 5:08Speaker 1: NBA action going on.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Yes, the Mystics, when you ask no better question, Yes,
- 5:14Speaker 3: there's no better way for me to roll in the
- 5:15Speaker 3: week and than bet in the Washington Mystics.
- 5:18Speaker 1: You love that. You're going to that game? Oh no,
- 5:21Speaker 1: you're going to the Guardians game, But well might as
- 5:23Speaker 1: well go to the Mystics. I really don't make a
- 5:26Speaker 1: damn bit of difference there. Interesting series for them coming
- 5:29Speaker 1: up here, certainly this weekend and beyond. Will they score
- 5:34Speaker 1: enough runs? Will they make any moves? Questions? Is what
- 5:38Speaker 1: we have. Maybe more so than answers, but means we
- 5:41Speaker 1: got to get a parlay of today going on here,
- 5:43Speaker 1: guys are how did we do yesterday? I do not recall.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I know BP probably lost, So how did you and
- 5:50Speaker 1: I do?
- 5:51Speaker 4: Why would you say something like that?
- 5:55Speaker 1: You know what, DPT.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I'll say this, VP got screwed. He had Nationals in
- 5:59Speaker 2: total over. They should have went over.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yes, I had a game toll over. The game total
- 6:07Speaker 1: should have went as well.
- 6:09Speaker 4: They needed the same.
- 6:10Speaker 3: But Joe, how about that? Me and Joe two good
- 6:13Speaker 3: buddies needing the same thing.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Diculous, absolutely ridiculous. Three and four hitter literally left nine
- 6:20Speaker 1: guys on base. That's great. It was not good. Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 1: uh sorry, So we got to make it up here today.
- 6:28Speaker 1: So BP, since you lost, let's go talk to us here.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Where are you going on the board for a parlay
- 6:37Speaker 1: of the day leg?
- 6:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and just even to shovel ward dirt.
- 6:41Speaker 3: On yesterday, the Nationals hit three solo home runs in
- 6:43Speaker 3: the first four innings. When I was launching it, I
- 6:45Speaker 3: was like, can't one guy be on base for these
- 6:47Speaker 3: home runs?
- 6:48Speaker 4: Nevertheless, return of the page from yesterday, we actually.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Did win our long client release. I'll talk about last night.
- 6:53Speaker 3: I'll talk about that just a little bit, but for
- 6:55Speaker 3: the parlay of the day, I'm gonna focus on the game.
- 6:57Speaker 3: I'm gonna be at Joe. I'm gonna take the Cleveland
- 6:59Speaker 3: Guardians Tanner Biby. I know he doesn't get a lot
- 7:01Speaker 3: of run support, but he's pitched very, very well, and
- 7:05Speaker 3: he's Guardians return home. I think they will score enough
- 7:08Speaker 3: a big starting pitching edge with Biby against Bratt who's
- 7:13Speaker 3: going for Arizona. And I believe the Guardians bullpen has
- 7:17Speaker 3: given up the second fewest runs this month, the trailing Boston.
- 7:22Speaker 3: So I like the pitching edge for the Guardos tonight.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Look for them to start this home stand with a.
- 7:28Speaker 1: W all right, complete, you didn't hear anything after he
- 7:33Speaker 1: said I won my play last night, so aart go ahead,
- 7:36Speaker 1: back it up. What do you got second leg of
- 7:39Speaker 1: this parlay of today?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Well, as we mentioned yesterday on a long shot section,
- 7:45Speaker 2: I think the Pirates are going to make the playoffs,
- 7:47Speaker 2: So I'm getting a cheap price on Skeens coming off
- 7:49Speaker 2: a loss. Pirates need the game. Give me the Pirates.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Pirates. It is all right, So we've got a couple
- 7:56Speaker 1: of I'm uh, I'll take the Brewers, I think, at
- 8:00Speaker 1: a cheap price, even at one sixty here. I have
- 8:03Speaker 1: no idea why the Angels and Johnson, who seems to
- 8:07Speaker 1: be the worst starting pitcher in all the Major League
- 8:08Speaker 1: Baseball I have no idea why they are not more
- 8:11Speaker 1: expensive than a buck sixty. But I'll take them in
- 8:14Speaker 1: this spot here tonight on the road Drowhand versus Johnson
- 8:19Speaker 1: in that one there, so kudos. Hopefully we'll get a
- 8:24Speaker 1: three for three in this spot here tonight. Guys. Let's
- 8:27Speaker 1: talk some predictive markets here, and so after we've heard
- 8:33Speaker 1: what we've heard, and boy, oh boy, it's I think
- 8:36Speaker 1: the trade deadline, it's a lot of hype. But if
- 8:40Speaker 1: we're being honest here, guys, I think with the pending
- 8:44Speaker 1: possible lockout and no baseball in the near future, I
- 8:48Speaker 1: think it's gonna be crazy. And if it is, I
- 8:53Speaker 1: don't know, art who is it? The Dodgers and that's it. Obviously,
- 8:57Speaker 1: if they get school ball, that's gonna But is there
- 9:01Speaker 1: any reason to look towards anybody else to win the
- 9:04Speaker 1: World Series here this year?
- 9:08Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I think if you look at anyone
- 9:11Speaker 2: but the Dodgers are looking for value. Obviously there's going
- 9:13Speaker 2: to be no there's no value on the Dodgers right now,
- 9:16Speaker 2: and if they make a schoobl move, there's clearly no
- 9:18Speaker 2: value on them, you know. But I did have someone
- 9:20Speaker 2: once say to me, hey, if you take the Dodgers
- 9:22Speaker 2: at plus one forty and you win that bet, it's
- 9:24Speaker 2: hard to win bets at minus one ten, So you know,
- 9:27Speaker 2: people sometimes have that logic as well. You know, I
- 9:31Speaker 2: don't want to be a homer here, but I'm still
- 9:32Speaker 2: going to look to the Yankees. The American League is
- 9:34Speaker 2: so weak. I think the Yankees are going to make
- 9:37Speaker 2: plenty of moves here at the deadline because they realize
- 9:39Speaker 2: how weak the American League is. And if they do
- 9:42Speaker 2: the right things and get some guys back like Stanton
- 9:45Speaker 2: and Judge, and they get that pitching in line with
- 9:47Speaker 2: those really good starters, they should make the World Series.
- 9:50Speaker 2: So I think I'm still going to look towards the
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yankees there.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Well, let me show you guys that. I mean, the
- 9:56Speaker 1: Dodgers are trading at thirty five cents, a lot of
- 10:00Speaker 1: baseball two months left to go here, but bp Yankees
- 10:05Speaker 1: right there at twelve tied with the Brewers. Then Atlanta.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I mean, is now the time thirty five cents and
- 10:12Speaker 1: we're not buying into the Dodgers here at this point.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Well, again, what do we always preach on this show
- 10:18Speaker 3: In case if you're new here, we preach, hey, they
- 10:20Speaker 3: don't have to.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Win it all.
- 10:21Speaker 3: We just need to wind up buying now and cant
- 10:25Speaker 3: get at a better price. I mean, yeah, I mean
- 10:27Speaker 3: does anyone, I mean, what kind of person? I mean,
- 10:30Speaker 3: that's a little higher than the percentage I have for
- 10:32Speaker 3: the Dodgers win it all. But at the same time,
- 10:35Speaker 3: it feels like the Dodgers have better than a thirty
- 10:37Speaker 3: four percent chance of.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Winning it all. Right, they could get Schoobale.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I mean, look, anything can happen in baseball in a
- 10:45Speaker 3: in a short series, even if you know, even if
- 10:47Speaker 3: it's seven games.
- 10:48Speaker 4: But yeah, I.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Mean, one would fathom that the Dodgers percent is going
- 10:53Speaker 3: to just go up, that price will go up. As
- 10:57Speaker 3: far as Art what he just said on the Yankees,
- 10:58Speaker 3: I'll co sign that the year Yankees have been an
- 11:00Speaker 3: unlucky team this year, either one in eight extra inning games. Now,
- 11:04Speaker 3: you would think that that would begin to normalize down
- 11:08Speaker 3: the stretch. Art also mentioned Aaron Judge will come back. Eventually,
- 11:11Speaker 3: the team will start scoring more runs. They've got the
- 11:14Speaker 3: best bullpen at least by era and all of baseball.
- 11:16Speaker 3: So yeah, I think the Yankees are a contender.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:21Speaker 3: I can't really buy Milwaukee. I don't think Milwaukee. We
- 11:24Speaker 3: saw that song and dance last year against the Dodger.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. Are we selling the cub short
- 11:33Speaker 1: here though? Who sinally start to Yeah? Maybe kick it
- 11:36Speaker 1: into a different They have to be buyers, right, I mean,
- 11:40Speaker 1: they have to be buyers for pitching. There's more pitching
- 11:44Speaker 1: I think than hitting. That's the only thing that scares me.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Art with the Yankees, yep, because there's not a lot
- 11:50Speaker 1: of bats that I think are going to move the needle.
- 11:53Speaker 1: There are a lot of I think some arms that
- 11:55Speaker 1: can help teams like the The Yankees don't need pitching.
- 11:58Speaker 1: That's the problem. There's no reason for them to go
- 12:00Speaker 1: after school except for maybe trying. He's a rental. He's
- 12:04Speaker 1: gonna be a free agent one way or the other
- 12:06Speaker 1: once baseball resumes. Let's not forget he's a Scott Boris client. Yep,
- 12:11Speaker 1: He's going to free agency. So he's a rental that's it.
- 12:16Speaker 1: And the Yankees have really no need starting pitchings. Not
- 12:19Speaker 1: the Yankees problem. So but the Cobs, I don't know.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Can we see the Cubs making a move here? Yeah?
- 12:28Speaker 1: Why not?
- 12:29Speaker 2: I mean, you know, the Cubs should feel like you
- 12:31Speaker 2: know their contenders. I mean, if they're sitting there, like
- 12:33Speaker 2: BP said, I'm with him. I don't ever trust Milwaukee
- 12:36Speaker 2: in the playoffs. You know, obviously, the Phillies, the Braves,
- 12:40Speaker 2: all these other teams in the National League have some issues.
- 12:44Speaker 2: So maybe the Cubs in their minds sitting there saying, hey,
- 12:46Speaker 2: we're right behind the Dodgers or the second team in
- 12:49Speaker 2: the NL, let's go take a shot. Who knows? Maybe
- 12:52Speaker 2: do we know where Casey Miies went yet? Has that
- 12:55Speaker 2: been an anatomy?
- 12:57Speaker 1: But that he's exactly the kind of listen I would. Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: this block I gets pulled down too, getting ready to
- 13:03Speaker 1: pitch in Colorado here to I think him and Lugo
- 13:06Speaker 1: likely gone as well. The Padres need pitch, and some
- 13:11Speaker 1: teams trying to buy that could really use some of
- 13:14Speaker 1: these arms that are certainly available. We saw the Mets
- 13:17Speaker 1: dismantle begin to dismantle the bullpen last night, right Mintor
- 13:21Speaker 1: pitches and that immediately gets shipped off to Minnesota, so
- 13:24Speaker 1: Minnesota is buying. Didn't see that coming, No, it.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Was at this time last year. Remember they traded after team.
- 13:32Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, it was one of the
- 13:34Speaker 3: most incredible selloffs in the deadline ever. I think they
- 13:37Speaker 3: literally traded a third of the big league club. And
- 13:41Speaker 3: here we are a year later and they're buyers. Who
- 13:45Speaker 3: knows and in a depth shy American league, maybe they
- 13:47Speaker 3: can get something done. I'm not necessarily buying the Twins.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I'm actually selling them this weekend. But we'll get to
- 13:51Speaker 3: that in our long shot segment.
- 13:54Speaker 4: One's funny.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean you mentioned the Cubs, though, Joe, I
- 13:57Speaker 3: don't agree with the Cubs below it being below the
- 13:59Speaker 3: Phillies on that list. I noted that I was selling
- 14:03Speaker 3: on the Phillies yesterday the Cubs did. The Cubs do
- 14:06Speaker 3: need to start because obviously their pitching has been injured
- 14:08Speaker 3: all year, so that is key. But uh yeah, I mean,
- 14:13Speaker 3: I think the Cubs are safely a playoff team, and
- 14:15Speaker 3: uh you know again, I don't think they're going to
- 14:18Speaker 3: go down from four percent, are they?
- 14:21Speaker 4: I mean, it's not gonna get lower than that.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Number.
- 14:23Speaker 4: I can't imagine it would.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I don't think it's going to get any lower there.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I mean, they're they're clearly one of the top three
- 14:30Speaker 1: teams in a national league right now, I think anyway,
- 14:34Speaker 1: But I keep going back to Tampa needing to win
- 14:38Speaker 1: the American League East having the best record there because
- 14:42Speaker 1: I think there's a big difference between having to beat
- 14:45Speaker 1: the Yankees at the TRUP as opposed to the Bronx.
- 14:50Speaker 1: So I think that number gets higher, Like so what
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm looking four point what are they right now? Five
- 14:57Speaker 1: point to five point eight cent? I I think that
- 15:00Speaker 1: number grows if they win the American League East, and
- 15:03Speaker 1: I don't see any reason why they can't. It just
- 15:06Speaker 1: feels like by low. Now are again if they represent
- 15:10Speaker 1: the American League in the World Series. Either which way
- 15:13Speaker 1: you're getting you're gonna get big money here over the
- 15:16Speaker 1: next two months. If Tampa does what we think they're
- 15:19Speaker 1: gonna do.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Yeah, no doubt what. They have at least a two
- 15:22Speaker 2: or three game lead right now, yes on the Yankees
- 15:25Speaker 2: for the division, and obviously they'll probably have a couple,
- 15:27Speaker 2: you know, maybe a series or two left with the
- 15:30Speaker 2: Yankees and they've played the Yankees tough all year, so
- 15:33Speaker 2: I would think right now they have the tiebregger with
- 15:35Speaker 2: the Yankees as well as far as games played when
- 15:37Speaker 2: they played head to head. So yeah, I mean you
- 15:39Speaker 2: look at Tampa Bay in that respect. Of course, it's interesting.
- 15:42Speaker 2: There are always a team who normally not that they
- 15:45Speaker 2: always sell, but you know, rarely do they make moves.
- 15:48Speaker 2: So we'll see what they do with the deadline.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be interesting. Go ahead, be pig.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Yeah, And to your point Jill about the Rays clearly
- 15:57Speaker 3: would want a potential playoffs series with the Yankee at home.
- 16:01Speaker 3: They would want home field advantage. Home field advantage means
- 16:03Speaker 3: more to Tampa Bay. Just to kind of underscore that point,
- 16:05Speaker 3: this season, guys, Tampa bay forty and sixteen record at
- 16:09Speaker 3: home is the best in all of baseball. They are
- 16:11Speaker 3: below five hundred on the road. I think all three
- 16:14Speaker 3: of us feel free to disagree if you'd like either
- 16:17Speaker 3: of you, guys, but I would be more The Yankees
- 16:21Speaker 3: probably feel more confident having to go to Tampa to
- 16:24Speaker 3: win that series than Tampa would be going to the Bronx.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Just to the thing, I think the Yankees don't necessarily
- 16:30Speaker 3: need the home field advantage to win a potential playoff
- 16:33Speaker 3: series with the Rays, whereas the Rays definitely need home
- 16:35Speaker 3: field advantage to beat the Yankees in a playoff series.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. I think it's not even close. They
- 16:40Speaker 1: are in that spot. So all right, you guys, I
- 16:44Speaker 1: still think that with two months left, I think the
- 16:46Speaker 1: predicting markets off of you guys a some great hedging opportunity,
- 16:50Speaker 1: especially if you're holding some future tickets. But even even
- 16:55Speaker 1: though worre you want to go chalking thirty five cents
- 16:57Speaker 1: with the Dodgers buying in now, if the Dodgers are
- 17:01Speaker 1: representing the National League, that's going to be a seventy
- 17:03Speaker 1: cent ticket. I don't care who they're playing, it's going
- 17:06Speaker 1: to be a seventy cent ticket. So now might be
- 17:10Speaker 1: the pretty good time in order to be able to
- 17:12Speaker 1: jump in there and hold that for another thirty to
- 17:15Speaker 1: forty days. All Right, we got some AFC East preview
- 17:20Speaker 1: we want to do here today. Before we do that,
- 17:23Speaker 1: of course we do. And who doesn't love to get
- 17:27Speaker 1: into the business here because we get the look at
- 17:29Speaker 1: the presidents leotard I did confirm, matter of fact, there
- 17:34Speaker 1: will be some auctions of giving out apparently some autograph
- 17:39Speaker 1: thongs from the Pres. I know everybody was very excited
- 17:43Speaker 1: when we mentioned that yesterday. Don't worry. Pres says he's
- 17:47Speaker 1: got you covered when he gets back. But in the meantime, BP,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you mentioned before that you had a winner last night.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Of course you did, so go ahead and tell us
- 17:59Speaker 1: what you have tonight. Of the folks at wager.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Talk, yeah, up nearly sixty units now since mid April
- 18:06Speaker 3: and on the week Joe Art, it's funny he mentioned
- 18:11Speaker 3: the unders last night.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Well, I cash over with the Dodgers.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Mariners kind of didn't know according to script because guess
- 18:19Speaker 3: what happened Joe about an before first pitch, the Dodgers said,
- 18:23Speaker 3: Otani's not playing.
- 18:25Speaker 1: We still cash.
- 18:26Speaker 3: They did all all the as a matter of fact,
- 18:28Speaker 3: so that one didn't the script. But we'll anytime a
- 18:31Speaker 3: ticket cash is will take it. And I am number
- 18:34Speaker 3: one all this season with total well MLB totals, Caper,
- 18:38Speaker 3: I've got another total at my page tonight w T
- 18:41Speaker 3: dot buzz slash VP as we look to make it
- 18:44Speaker 3: six and to start the week.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I gotta love that BP. All right, you're crushing it. Uh,
- 18:51Speaker 1: sad got too up uh and available over at wager
- 18:54Speaker 1: and Talk dot Com. Preplay is up as well w
- 18:57Speaker 1: t dot Buzz Forward Slash Jr. You can hop on
- 19:00Speaker 1: over and check those outs while we get ready to
- 19:04Speaker 1: check out what should be a very interesting I think
- 19:08Speaker 1: AFC East this year. Here, guys, I Art, I'm going
- 19:13Speaker 1: to start with you here, my man, we already know well,
- 19:17Speaker 1: let's just say Dolphins are not winning it. The Jets
- 19:20Speaker 1: are not winning it. So it leaves us two teams here.
- 19:23Speaker 1: What are we thinking, Art in the AFC East here?
- 19:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one of those divisions where we talked about
- 19:29Speaker 2: a division yesterday where you could probably make a case
- 19:31Speaker 2: for all the teams to win, even though you know
- 19:33Speaker 2: the Vikings were pulling up the rear.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Man.
- 19:36Speaker 2: You look at this division, obviously, the Bills are a favorite.
- 19:38Speaker 2: They're like minus one fifty minus one sixty out there.
- 19:41Speaker 2: New England right behind them at like plus one fifty,
- 19:43Speaker 2: as high as maybe plus one sixty five. I've seen
- 19:47Speaker 2: Dolphins are going to be the one of the worst
- 19:48Speaker 2: teams in the league. They're the second team to have
- 19:50Speaker 2: the worst record odds wise in the whole league of
- 19:53Speaker 2: plus three seventy five. The Jets are interesting because there
- 19:56Speaker 2: are some people who are trying to, you know, say hey,
- 19:58Speaker 2: this is going to be a bounce back year for
- 19:59Speaker 2: the Jets. Still win some games. I mean a bounce
- 20:01Speaker 2: back year in the sense for maybe they win six
- 20:03Speaker 2: or seven. So it's really bills or nothing. I think
- 20:06Speaker 2: when you look at the Bills, you look at hey,
- 20:08Speaker 2: can they get the one seed in the AFC? That's
- 20:10Speaker 2: like five to one. You know, once again I mentioned
- 20:13Speaker 2: the Dolphins have the worst record. There's gonna be a
- 20:15Speaker 2: lot of people playing alternates with the Jets. You know,
- 20:18Speaker 2: their team total is five and a half for wins.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Maybe they play the under four and a half, get
- 20:22Speaker 2: some plus money. Maybe they like the Jets take over
- 20:25Speaker 2: six and a half, take some plus money. So there's
- 20:27Speaker 2: a lot of ways to go. I haven't seen this
- 20:29Speaker 2: market yet. But if the Jets get off to a
- 20:32Speaker 2: rough start, Aaron Glenn first coach to be fired.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Possibly, I like, you know what, Art, I kind of
- 20:39Speaker 1: like the direction you're going with that, and yeah, I
- 20:41Speaker 1: think that would be fantastic, except I need them to
- 20:45Speaker 1: lose as many games as possible, though, so keep his
- 20:48Speaker 1: ass on the staff for a little while. BP, What
- 20:51Speaker 1: do you think in here with this with this division
- 20:54Speaker 1: AFC East.
- 20:56Speaker 3: So as July comes to a close, the Bills are
- 21:01Speaker 3: you look at the eighth division. Obviously this can change
- 21:04Speaker 3: in the next month, but the Bills are the biggest
- 21:06Speaker 3: favorite we have to win any division.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Joe and Art are kind of hit on that in
- 21:11Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 21:11Speaker 3: You know, there's only two teams with a minus next
- 21:14Speaker 3: to them in the division that I'm seeing right now
- 21:16Speaker 3: in the division market, at least at the place where
- 21:18Speaker 3: you wear the crown. Buffalo is it minus one thirty
- 21:22Speaker 3: six and then Baltimore's minus one twelve in the North.
- 21:26Speaker 4: So I do think Buffalo. So here's the thing. I
- 21:29Speaker 4: do think Buffalo wins this division.
- 21:31Speaker 3: We haven't talked. We haven't mentioned New England. By the way,
- 21:33Speaker 3: they were in the Super Bowl last year. I don't
- 21:35Speaker 3: know if you remember that game. I think we're all
- 21:36Speaker 3: expecting them to take somewhat of a step back this year.
- 21:40Speaker 3: They do fit the profile of a team that's gonna
- 21:42Speaker 3: win fewer games after a big jump like that from
- 21:45Speaker 3: twenty twenty four to twenty twenty five, So I would
- 21:47Speaker 3: expect some regression there. But how much, I guess is
- 21:50Speaker 3: the question. I do like the Jets over five and
- 21:52Speaker 3: a half wins and then yeah, Miami's buried at the bottom.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I don't know if there will be any value just
- 21:58Speaker 3: betting them against the spread and random spots during the year,
- 22:01Speaker 3: but I think it's kind of an easy one two
- 22:04Speaker 3: three four, like you know, yes again or mentioned this earlier.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Whereas the North it's going to be a really tight division.
- 22:11Speaker 3: We said it might be the toughest top to bottom
- 22:13Speaker 3: this division. To me, guys and Joe, I'd be interested
- 22:17Speaker 3: to hear your thoughts. I feel it's like the easy
- 22:21Speaker 3: I don't want to see the easiest, but it feels
- 22:23Speaker 3: the most logical one two three four of any division
- 22:27Speaker 3: in the sport where it would go Buffalo, New England
- 22:29Speaker 3: Jets Miami, I think is going to be the order
- 22:32Speaker 3: of finish, and I think most people probably feel that way.
- 22:35Speaker 1: So you so Buffalo is the favorite? Is that what?
- 22:38Speaker 1: We're all on the same page and a Buffalo there?
- 22:43Speaker 1: I mean art, let me ask you. New England regressing
- 22:48Speaker 1: schedule is a little tougher than it was a year ago,
- 22:50Speaker 1: is it? Is it not? I don't I'm not convinced
- 22:55Speaker 1: that Joe Brady being the head coach is great for Josh.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I mean, you still got Josh Allen. You still obviously
- 23:03Speaker 1: you're gonna have a shot to go. But are we
- 23:06Speaker 1: convinced that, yeah, McDermott was the problem art or are
- 23:09Speaker 1: we convinced about Yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I mean, we'll see, and if I'm wrong, maybe one
- 23:16Speaker 2: of you can pull it up. But I think the
- 23:17Speaker 2: Bills in their first four or five games really tough
- 23:20Speaker 2: coming out of the gate. And you know, when you're
- 23:23Speaker 2: gonna have a new coach, it's gonna have to sit
- 23:25Speaker 2: there and figure all this out early, even though it's
- 23:27Speaker 2: a veteran team and they've been together. But yeah, I
- 23:30Speaker 2: don't know. I still think the Bills are the team
- 23:32Speaker 2: to win the division. Clearly the odds state that we
- 23:35Speaker 2: all think New England does take that step back. Also,
- 23:37Speaker 2: all that Varabel stuff, how does that play in to
- 23:40Speaker 2: what New England's all about? But yeah, I mean, listen,
- 23:43Speaker 2: obviously there's gonna be a little bit of growing pains,
- 23:46Speaker 2: probably early with a new coach. I mean, I don't
- 23:48Speaker 2: think there's any question despite having maybe the best players
- 23:51Speaker 2: sitting there in the league. And once again we need mentioned,
- 23:53Speaker 2: you know, Allen's sitting there to repeat as MVP at
- 23:56Speaker 2: five to one he's the lowest on the odd.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Sports for that. Yeah, it's uh, it's just going to
- 24:03Speaker 1: be the best of the rest. And listen, Miami. We
- 24:06Speaker 1: know it's a rebuild there. The Jets we're hoping don't
- 24:09Speaker 1: win anything, although they should be somewhat improved here. To me,
- 24:14Speaker 1: it's gonna come down to New England and Buffalo again.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I just I'm not convinced that Buffalo has figured anything
- 24:22Speaker 1: out here. That's the problem. So by default it could
- 24:25Speaker 1: be New England there BP, as much as that pains me.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Art mentioned the tough start to this season for the
- 24:35Speaker 3: Bills schedule wise, I looked it up.
- 24:37Speaker 1: He is correct.
- 24:38Speaker 3: It is at Houston and they host Detroit host the
- 24:41Speaker 3: Chargers host New England. So three in a row at home.
- 24:44Speaker 3: That's good, and then they're at the Rams. Those are fun.
- 24:47Speaker 3: That is a very tough, challenging schedule. And then they're
- 24:51Speaker 3: they're at Vegas and then they get the buye to recoup.
- 24:53Speaker 4: So it'll be interesting. I think if Buffalo can kind of.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Just be okay, which they should, I mean, it's you know,
- 24:59Speaker 3: I mean, they should be okay. I mean at least
- 25:01Speaker 3: go fight, you know for and maybe uh, you know,
- 25:04Speaker 3: four and two going into that buy, I think they'll
- 25:06Speaker 3: be in pretty good shape. But to answer your question,
- 25:08Speaker 3: Joe about you know, was McDermott the problem. We're gonna
- 25:10Speaker 3: find out if it was him or just the players
- 25:12Speaker 3: on defense. The defense, it wasn't a particularly challenging schedule
- 25:17Speaker 3: that the Bills faced last year, and their defense still
- 25:20Speaker 3: wasn't very good and consistently let Allen and the offense
- 25:24Speaker 3: down the Jets. We mentioned it yesterday. I just want
- 25:28Speaker 3: a big reason I expect them to improve their win
- 25:30Speaker 3: toll from last year is simply turnover.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Look, they had none of it.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Last year.
- 25:33Speaker 3: They did not have They were, I believe, the first
- 25:34Speaker 3: team and recorded human history not to have an interception
- 25:37Speaker 3: over a NFL season, not one. They didn't have one interception,
- 25:42Speaker 3: And I joked that I'm just going to fire on,
- 25:44Speaker 3: you know, the opposing quarterback to go over half an
- 25:47Speaker 3: interception every game until it happens.
- 25:51Speaker 1: What are they going to have an in?
- 25:52Speaker 4: What are they not gonna have an interception until the
- 25:54Speaker 4: end of time?
- 25:54Speaker 1: Joe? I think, Okay, how many how many wins win
- 26:00Speaker 1: this division are? What? What? Or was it a ten win?
- 26:03Speaker 1: Eleven win? What? What is this division?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you're in the ten eleven win range. That's got
- 26:09Speaker 2: to be where you're at for this. And I mean
- 26:11Speaker 2: it's once again, as we keep saying, it's really only
- 26:13Speaker 2: two teams who can achieve that, even if we think
- 26:15Speaker 2: the Jets will be improved, obviously the Dolphins aren't sniffing
- 26:18Speaker 2: that at all. It's between Buffalo and England. Who you know,
- 26:21Speaker 2: who can get to ten? Who can get to eleven?
- 26:23Speaker 2: And then honestly, you might come down to their games
- 26:25Speaker 2: against each other. Yeah, I mean that's possible as well.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Yeah, what what's your favorite? What's your favorite? Bet? Miss division?
- 26:32Speaker 1: Their BP? You gotta win total? You got Buffalo. I
- 26:38Speaker 1: don't even know what's buffalo to make the playoffs. I
- 26:40Speaker 1: guess that's kind of cheating, But yeah, are we fading
- 26:44Speaker 1: the Jets total? Are we fading the Dolphins total? Here?
- 26:47Speaker 1: What are we think of win total?
- 26:50Speaker 4: Jets over five and a half minus one?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Twenty's rice secret?
- 26:55Speaker 3: I'm sorry, sorry it yesterday. You said it yesterday that
- 27:03Speaker 3: the Jets need to lose this year to set themselves
- 27:06Speaker 3: up for greener pastures pun intended. And they're gonna screw
- 27:10Speaker 3: it up by winning more games than they should. I
- 27:12Speaker 3: agree with you, Joe. I think they're gonna win more
- 27:14Speaker 3: games than they should and you'll be very upset.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Are okay, who are we fading in this Who are
- 27:21Speaker 1: we fading in this division here? Or who are we
- 27:24Speaker 1: backing here? I mean, do we think New England wins
- 27:28Speaker 1: eleven games? Here? I mean, what are we thanking?
- 27:32Speaker 2: If you like New England? We're just talking about the playoffs.
- 27:34Speaker 2: You get New England like minus one seventy to make
- 27:36Speaker 2: the playoffs. You can look that way. Dolphins alternate team
- 27:40Speaker 2: wins three and a half, you get plus money on
- 27:42Speaker 2: that if they go three and fourteen, And like I said,
- 27:44Speaker 2: you could take a shot with them to have the
- 27:45Speaker 2: worst record in almost four to one because it's probably
- 27:48Speaker 2: between them and Arizona, no shock, there a couple other
- 27:52Speaker 2: teams you could throw in. So there's probably some plus
- 27:54Speaker 2: money prices to take advantage with the Dolphins BP set
- 27:58Speaker 2: of two probably just can go again some all year,
- 28:01Speaker 2: you know, in a lot of their games, but you
- 28:03Speaker 2: know you're gonna have to pick and choose spots.
- 28:05Speaker 1: When the Dolphins play ten and a half, is that
- 28:07Speaker 1: still the Buffalo win total? Yeah? I don't see it
- 28:11Speaker 1: happen under and Yeah to the over too.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you get plus price on the under.
- 28:19Speaker 1: No, I think they're gonna lose. Uh. I think maybe
- 28:23Speaker 1: ten because I think ten wins this division. Because I'm
- 28:26Speaker 1: not exactly sold on on New England either. I think
- 28:30Speaker 1: they'll regress. I can't wait to see now a year
- 28:33Speaker 1: with Drake may here in this system, Let's see what
- 28:35Speaker 1: happens and what defenses pull up, because I think Seattle
- 28:39Speaker 1: showed everyone. But listen, Patriots win total ten and a
- 28:42Speaker 1: half as well.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It's split across. You can get you can get nine
- 28:48Speaker 2: and a half over, ten and a half under, Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 2: just half under.
- 28:51Speaker 1: I would go both ten and a half because I
- 28:53Speaker 1: think ten is what wins the division at best. I
- 28:58Speaker 1: had a.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Question for I have a question for Art. Actually, I
- 29:01Speaker 3: remember I had thought about this over the day. You know,
- 29:04Speaker 3: there's all these metrics that are out there that are
- 29:06Speaker 3: more wildly understood about teams that are going to improve,
- 29:10Speaker 3: teams that are going to regress year over year. On
- 29:13Speaker 3: the other side of the counter, has there have been
- 29:14Speaker 3: over the last couple of years a what's the word
- 29:18Speaker 3: I'm looking for? Not like a desire, but like a
- 29:22Speaker 3: move to like get more aggressive with these teams that
- 29:24Speaker 3: are going to aggress. Hey, we're going to post that
- 29:26Speaker 3: win total lower because everyone thinks that team's gonna be worse. Hey,
- 29:29Speaker 3: everyone thinks this team's gonna improve. So we're gonna be
- 29:31Speaker 3: more aggressive with their win total posted at higher because
- 29:33Speaker 3: the last couple of years, look at the teams that
- 29:38Speaker 3: have shown big improvement people, the public was on them, right.
- 29:40Speaker 3: The public was on New England at this time last year.
- 29:42Speaker 3: They were on Chicago last year. Two years ago. Everyone
- 29:45Speaker 3: was calling for the Chargers to improve. So our odds
- 29:48Speaker 3: are are we going to see moving forward? Odds makers
- 29:51Speaker 3: get super aggressive with win totals on these teams that
- 29:55Speaker 3: everyone thinks are going to improve or everyone thinks they're
- 29:57Speaker 3: going to regress.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It's a really great, great question. I think anytime you're
- 30:02Speaker 2: in a wrist room and you're hanging numbers, you can
- 30:05Speaker 2: always take a position with a team or a couple
- 30:08Speaker 2: of teams, or whatever the case may be, and then listen.
- 30:10Speaker 2: The bottom line is when you do that, then you
- 30:13Speaker 2: allow forget what the public's going to bet. You allow
- 30:16Speaker 2: your sharp players and the people you respect who are
- 30:18Speaker 2: going to shape your numbers. You know, let you know,
- 30:21Speaker 2: or hey, are we in line with these people? Are
- 30:23Speaker 2: we totally off? Do we now have to change our
- 30:26Speaker 2: approach here? And a lot of times when you do
- 30:28Speaker 2: that and you you know, go to price Discovery on
- 30:31Speaker 2: a number and you get in line with some of
- 30:33Speaker 2: your sharp people, then you feel even better and you
- 30:36Speaker 2: can get even more aggressive and maybe even raise your
- 30:39Speaker 2: position on a team, because a lot of times too,
- 30:43Speaker 2: some of these teams or even people who are considered
- 30:46Speaker 2: general public betters, they can maybe even shop around and
- 30:50Speaker 2: get a better number because it's been move so, you know,
- 30:53Speaker 2: and all these numbers are available now, so they're like,
- 30:55Speaker 2: oh wait, I can get this team at this price.
- 30:57Speaker 2: It seems like it's you know, lower, it's different from
- 31:00Speaker 2: Fandal or it's different from Draftking. So there's always ways
- 31:03Speaker 2: to set up what you're trying to accomplish in a
- 31:06Speaker 2: risk room.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Yeps, gonna be fun. It's good to talk NFL stuff,
- 31:10Speaker 1: isn't it? Guys? Right back in the in the saddle again,
- 31:14Speaker 1: since next time we all speak it'll be August and
- 31:18Speaker 1: next I think Friday is a game? Is that correct?
- 31:21Speaker 2: I believe we got to go Thursday?
- 31:23Speaker 1: Thursday, Yes, Thursday, My goodness, Luke Keikley, there I think
- 31:28Speaker 1: Fitzgerald going into the Hall of Fame in Canton. Ryan
- 31:32Speaker 1: Power will be there. Which is over.
- 31:36Speaker 4: It's a Stones throw down. I seventy seven from me?
- 31:40Speaker 1: All right, all right, so let's do We'll do it again.
- 31:45Speaker 1: We got a lot of Major League baseball going on,
- 31:47Speaker 1: so well we'll go ahead and run down this board
- 31:50Speaker 1: once again. We'll do it round table style, see if
- 31:54Speaker 1: we can get through a bunch of these afternoon baseball,
- 31:58Speaker 1: I believe is what we got. Yankees and Cubs. Art.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I'll start with you Warren against him and Naga. How
- 32:04Speaker 1: you leaning in this one?
- 32:07Speaker 2: Definitely got to lead the Cubs here, but I would
- 32:11Speaker 2: also probably lean under in the game.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Nine. Don't mind that either. Pirates in reds BP Skeen's
- 32:18Speaker 1: taking on hunter Green. Interesting one here eight now for
- 32:23Speaker 1: a total.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Yeah, if I was listing closely, I believe you like
- 32:27Speaker 3: the Pirates in this one, Joe, or are those aren't
- 32:30Speaker 3: that liked the Pirates in this because we had talked
- 32:32Speaker 3: about yesterday the Pirates being a little bit undervalued into
- 32:36Speaker 3: to make the playoffs market. This is the kind of
- 32:37Speaker 3: game they need to win. Hunter Green has been very
- 32:39Speaker 3: feast were famine on the mound for Cincinnati Joe. He's
- 32:43Speaker 3: had two good starts, too bad starts. It'll be interesting
- 32:46Speaker 3: which Hunter Green we see show up today.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Phillies Orioles. Painter call back up for the Phillies to
- 32:52Speaker 1: start going up against Young. I'll take the Orioles at
- 32:56Speaker 1: home at Camden Yards. Can't trust the Phillies. You got
- 32:59Speaker 1: the Cardinals and the Jays lay he surprisingly good. Here
- 33:04Speaker 1: are taking on Dylan Cees Blue Jays at home. Neither
- 33:07Speaker 1: of these teams can hit water if they fall out
- 33:09Speaker 1: of a boat. How are you looking at this one? Now?
- 33:12Speaker 2: We had mentioned in the sharp section where they sharp
- 33:14Speaker 2: slaid one and a half with the Blue Jays, and
- 33:16Speaker 2: you saw that price go up on the Blue Jays anyway,
- 33:19Speaker 2: it was about one sixty overnight. It's like one eighty. Now,
- 33:22Speaker 2: you're right, I mean Saint Louis scan't score. Probably look
- 33:26Speaker 2: at their team total under like that?
- 33:28Speaker 1: All right, Diamondbacks and the Guardian shocker BP. How this works?
- 33:32Speaker 1: Because you're gonna be at this game here at some point,
- 33:35Speaker 1: Tanner baby at home always better at home I think
- 33:38Speaker 1: than on the road. Are they going to score enough
- 33:41Speaker 1: to get it done? Here's my question?
- 33:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I kind of like the Guardians in our parlay
- 33:45Speaker 3: of the day, And I'll just reiterate it here and
- 33:47Speaker 3: then you know, I'll be at the game an hour early.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Joe two dollars Miller lights tonight for an hour before
- 33:53Speaker 3: game time. Come say hi if you're at the ballpark.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Nobody's coming to say hi. White Sox and the Rays
- 33:59Speaker 1: petty against Martin Is. Let me just say it's the
- 34:02Speaker 1: White Sox at the Rays. Yeah. I'll take the Rays
- 34:07Speaker 1: at minus one thirty five in that one. I don't
- 34:10Speaker 1: know why. Sometimes you need to overthink things. There's really
- 34:13Speaker 1: no reason too. Marlins and Mets your art something called
- 34:18Speaker 1: a junk. Oh no, that's parole Toms. Oh no, that
- 34:21Speaker 1: is junk junk and Parolta. Will Parolta even pitching this
- 34:26Speaker 1: game before he gets traded? Mets minus one thirty year
- 34:29Speaker 1: at City.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a great question. I'll take a little bit
- 34:32Speaker 2: of plus money on the Marlins. They'll beat the Mets tonight.
- 34:35Speaker 1: All right, let's go bep your favorite team, the Nationals
- 34:39Speaker 1: taking on the Braves. Foster Griffin definitely won't be a
- 34:42Speaker 1: member of the Nationals after Monday. Bryce Elder or the Braves,
- 34:48Speaker 1: what are we doing here.
- 34:51Speaker 3: God, that was a brutal loss on the over yesterday.
- 34:54Speaker 3: The team total over maybe NAT's first five. I mean,
- 34:57Speaker 3: as soon as long as Griffin doesn't get traded in
- 35:00Speaker 3: the next seven hours, Nats have to starting pitching at
- 35:03Speaker 3: Griffin against Bryce. All the Nats are eleven and one
- 35:06Speaker 3: in Foster Griffin's last twelve starts like that?
- 35:10Speaker 1: All right, Rangers and the Astros. Good one here of
- 35:13Speaker 1: Aldi versus Brown. I think Hunter Brown has actually figured
- 35:18Speaker 1: it out, got rid of the rust. I don't trust
- 35:21Speaker 1: the Rangers after getting beat up against Tampa. Now on
- 35:25Speaker 1: the road against Houston. I love this Houston lineup. I'll
- 35:29Speaker 1: take Houston at a cheap price there. Royals and Rockies
- 35:33Speaker 1: Walka versus Sugana. Art total hovering around eleven. I don't
- 35:38Speaker 1: know if either of these two teams, if you played
- 35:41Speaker 1: a game twice, can get to eleven runs. What do
- 35:43Speaker 1: you think?
- 35:46Speaker 2: This is one of those you know, there's so many
- 35:48Speaker 2: games on the board you just pass a game like this.
- 35:50Speaker 2: But good call, Joe. Probably a play on the under.
- 35:53Speaker 2: But just to get back to that Texas series. That's
- 35:55Speaker 2: a huge series. This series, that's such a big series
- 35:58Speaker 2: right now, right before the trade do. But yeah, getting
- 36:01Speaker 2: back to the Royals Rockies, this is a pass.
- 36:02Speaker 1: On a game.
- 36:03Speaker 2: But if you look anywhere, maybe look towards the.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Under Brewers taking on the Angels here Bp Drohan, extra
- 36:11Speaker 1: day's rest taking on Ryan Johnson, who is just absolutely
- 36:15Speaker 1: horrific on a lot of different levels. Brewers not overly
- 36:20Speaker 1: expensive minus one sixty one sixty five. That's the way
- 36:23Speaker 1: I went to parla of today. What are you thinking here?
- 36:26Speaker 3: I don't see any reason to disagree with what you
- 36:28Speaker 3: just said, So I'll just add this note about the
- 36:30Speaker 3: last game the Rockies and Royals. There has not been
- 36:33Speaker 3: a single pitcher who has overachieved more this season in
- 36:36Speaker 3: terms of wins and losses than Colorado's Tomayuki Sagano. His
- 36:39Speaker 3: expected era is close to seven point three zero, Yet
- 36:44Speaker 3: somehow the Rockies have won six of his last seven starts.
- 36:47Speaker 3: You know how I love my expected era, Joe no
- 36:50Speaker 3: qualified star Ward Baseball has a bigger gulf between actual
- 36:53Speaker 3: era and expected era than mister Sigano. So I don't
- 36:57Speaker 3: know if tonight's the night to fade him. Kansas City
- 37:01Speaker 3: crushing loss yesterday, They're going nowhere fast next time. Sigano starts,
- 37:05Speaker 3: though I'm going to be on the other team.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Good stuff there. I would also look at the Angel
- 37:10Speaker 1: team total under there are Tigers Athletics. We said, Myz
- 37:15Speaker 1: has already been scratched because he's likely heading someplace else.
- 37:19Speaker 1: It's a bullpen game. Madden opening up for Detroit. It's
- 37:23Speaker 1: gonna be go all bullpen from here on now. Jeffrey
- 37:25Speaker 1: Springs for the Athletics. What are we thinking here in Sacramento?
- 37:31Speaker 2: Maybe this is the day to take a shot with
- 37:33Speaker 2: the a's lean the a's oof.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Wow, Okay, Giants Padres, Oh that is just ugly on
- 37:39Speaker 1: So I just threw up a little when you said it.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Giants Padres here, BP wizen Hunt going for the Giants.
- 37:47Speaker 1: It's an opener. Rodriguez for the Padres given way to
- 37:52Speaker 1: Harman Marquez for the Padres. Here. Giants took the game
- 37:56Speaker 1: last night. What are you thinking here?
- 37:58Speaker 4: I got nothing on this game.
- 38:00Speaker 3: You know, Art said he's just waving the town on
- 38:02Speaker 3: the Colorado Kansas City deal. This is I don't know.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I'm not a believer in either of these two teams.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Giants did win yesterday's game. You would think the Padres
- 38:10Speaker 3: aren't gonna get swept, But there's probably better a better
- 38:12Speaker 3: time over again to back the Padres than here.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll take the under. It's still pet go and
- 38:18Speaker 1: both of these offenses. Whoa Red Sox Dodgers art eight
- 38:23Speaker 1: and a half as a total Suarez versus Enriquez there
- 38:28Speaker 1: So we got opener situations all over the place here
- 38:31Speaker 1: for the Dodgers Red Sox though one again last night.
- 38:36Speaker 1: But you know where are the runs coming from with
- 38:38Speaker 1: the Red Sox tonight? Yeah?
- 38:41Speaker 2: I mean what are they? Twenty five and five of
- 38:43Speaker 2: their last thirty? The Red Sox have been incredible. Listen
- 38:46Speaker 2: anytime you can. You know, the public looks to kind
- 38:49Speaker 2: of jump on the Dodgers.
- 38:51Speaker 1: They'll do that.
- 38:51Speaker 2: They're going to do that tonight. So maybe this is
- 38:54Speaker 2: the time take a shot with the Red Sox even
- 38:56Speaker 2: at plus one and a half.
- 38:57Speaker 1: All right, BP, you got the last one twins at
- 39:00Speaker 1: the Mariners. Here is Zebby Matthews going up against Bryce Miller.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Uh for Seattle. Seven and a half is the total?
- 39:09Speaker 1: What are you thinking here? Well, this is.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Gonna be my long shot. Bet you want to get
- 39:13Speaker 3: that segment going here because.
- 39:15Speaker 1: I have a transit money. Yeah, say what, Joe.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Okay, I'll I'll get you right out of here, Joe.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I like Bright Miller to record a win for Seattle
- 39:29Speaker 3: at plus one thirty. Who I'm buying Seattle. I know
- 39:33Speaker 3: Seattle's been a big disappointment this year. Minnesota has been
- 39:35Speaker 3: a big surprise. But I'm selling Minnesota this weekend. I'm
- 39:37Speaker 3: buying Seattle. Seattle's a much better team at home. And
- 39:40Speaker 3: you know who was really good in Seattle?
- 39:43Speaker 4: Joe Miller.
- 39:44Speaker 3: How about a point nine five ERA and six O whip.
- 39:49Speaker 3: I know it's only five starts, but he's been completely dominant.
- 39:52Speaker 3: The Twins were so lucky to win with that Grand
- 39:54Speaker 3: Slam yesterday. They had one hit in the first eight
- 39:57Speaker 3: and two thirds innings and they were shut out the
- 39:59Speaker 3: day before. I think Miller mows down the mirrors. Odds
- 40:02Speaker 3: makers are telling you they've taken a position. Seattle's gonna
- 40:05Speaker 3: win this game. Well, Seattle wins this game, why is
- 40:07Speaker 3: it gonna be. It's not gonna because of their offense.
- 40:09Speaker 3: It's gonna because Bryce Miller pitches his ass off. So
- 40:12Speaker 3: Bryce Miller to record a win at plus one thirty
- 40:14Speaker 3: is my long shot.
- 40:16Speaker 1: All right, Ard? How about your long shot? Where are
- 40:18Speaker 1: you looking here today on the.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Card Goldschmidt to hit a home run at Wrigley.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Damn dude. All right, that's that's spicy. I'm not gonna
- 40:29Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie. That's a little spicy for a Friday.
- 40:32Speaker 1: But it's today, Friday. I don't even know what day
- 40:34Speaker 1: it is. Friday. Yeah, it is Friday. Good spicy Friday.
- 40:37Speaker 1: With that pick, all right, then you guys are gonna
- 40:40Speaker 1: leave me no choice. I'm gonna go to an NFL
- 40:44Speaker 1: futures markt. No, I'm kidding, I am. I am gonna
- 40:47Speaker 1: go very I'm gonna keep it very simple. If it
- 40:51Speaker 1: ain't broke, let's not fix it. I am gonna go
- 40:53Speaker 1: with the Red Sox over the Dodgers at plus money
- 40:58Speaker 1: here tonight. Always seemed to lose the first game of
- 41:02Speaker 1: a series for some reason and then they win everything else.
- 41:05Speaker 1: So I'll take the Red Sox here tonight. And that's
- 41:08Speaker 1: is your long shot segment here, guys, I gotta say,
- 41:12Speaker 1: I mean, art, this has been great. It's been a pleasure, honestly,
- 41:17Speaker 1: Brian Power. Yeah, no, I kid, it's really it's always
- 41:21Speaker 1: sort of nice to see you. But listen and join
- 41:24Speaker 1: the game. Here tonight. I think do we usually be
- 41:27Speaker 1: unders when you go to Guardian games?
- 41:29Speaker 4: What is it we usually do?
- 41:31Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, the last game went twelve
- 41:33Speaker 3: innings and still stayed under. When I was there, the
- 41:35Speaker 3: Guardians went over seventeen person scoring position. So we shall
- 41:40Speaker 3: see tonight with by Hey Biby gets no run support
- 41:42Speaker 3: and the Guardians don't score a ton so it makes
- 41:44Speaker 3: a lot of sense to get the under. But again,
- 41:47Speaker 3: I like the Guardians to take tonight's series.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Oh that is fantastic. There art to Caesar. We'll see
- 41:53Speaker 1: you on Monday, my man. I think presentably back. We
- 41:56Speaker 1: got a college football preview coming your way on Monday.
- 42:00Speaker 1: You don't forget to hit that like and subscribe button. BP.
- 42:03Speaker 1: We will see you next week. You said you were
- 42:06Speaker 1: what ankle bracelet traveling? What's going on there? Don't worry
- 42:11Speaker 1: about me, Joe.
- 42:12Speaker 3: I'll be back soon enough, and I know you'll be
- 42:14Speaker 3: counting the days down.
- 42:15Speaker 4: We'll be the first to know.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, do not threaten me. Okay, guys, best of luck,
- 42:21Speaker 1: enjoyed the weekend. We'll see you again on Monday for
- 42:23Speaker 1: the best betting show ever.
