Najah: You grown. But still scared to choose what makes me happy because it might disappoint your parents, huh? Let's talk about it. Because baby. it's okay to live a life that fulfills you. Not their wishes and desires for you. Just because their dreams didn't work out doesn't mean you're responsible for living them. And just because they were successful doesn't mean you gotta follow in their footsteps. You can appreciate the opportunities they gave you and still choose a different path. Some of y'all gonna have to say. I know that's what you wanted for me, but this is not what I want for myself. And let them be disappointed. Now maybe you still living off of them and you don't want to get cut off. In that case, don't listen to me. What do I know?
