Day 224. Jeremiah 1-3
Jeremiah is called by God to be a prophet to the nations, despite his youth and feelings of inadequacy. God assures him that He has appointed and equipped him for the task. Jeremiah then confronts Judah’s unfaithfulness, comparing the nation to an unfaithful spouse who has abandoned God for idols. Yet God continues to call His people to return to Him, offering mercy despite their rebellion.
