- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, big big day. Here's to Ay Jonas podcast. Yes,
- 0:04Speaker 1: because tomorrow we will be premiering on Disney Plus and
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hulu and we're going to have the cast of camp
- 0:14Speaker 1: Rock three odd to usher in this next generation of Campers.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Got on more and Joe has gone nonverbal and will
- 0:25Speaker 1: only be using his Shane Gray for crying out loud. Yes,
- 0:29Speaker 1: it's almost been a year since we were on set filming.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I know, it's crazy how fast it all moves. It
- 0:36Speaker 1: moves very quickly, and it was almost eighteen years ago
- 0:38Speaker 1: when we started this whole pretty nuts. Nineteen I think
- 0:41Speaker 1: nineteen actually, Kevin nineteen years. My favorite Camp Rock memory
- 0:46Speaker 1: from back in the day had to be when we
- 0:52Speaker 1: got to set. I think it was, you know, seven
- 0:54Speaker 1: or eight in the morning, and we just hear this
- 1:00Speaker 1: and I'm like, what is happening? Because it wasn't scripted
- 1:04Speaker 1: that iconic moment with the stomp clap thing. It wasn't
- 1:07Speaker 1: there was like we should do this, this is what happened?
- 1:10Speaker 1: What is this? And we basically refused to do the thing, and.
- 1:13Speaker 2: So drumstick, which ended up making it kind of iconic.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think I'm in it. Oh, I'm in it. Yeah,
- 1:18Speaker 1: I'm in it. You're in it for sure.
- 1:20Speaker 2: You're leading the charge.
- 1:21Speaker 1: You're actually the lead of the movie, Joe. I don't
- 1:22Speaker 1: know if you know that.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you you were.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I just wanted to hear you were number one on
- 1:26Speaker 1: the call seet. I just wanted to hear you say no,
- 1:28Speaker 1: I was number two. Number two, Timmy is number one.
- 1:30Speaker 1: You were Jimmy's movie, Stammy's, Mitchie's movie. My most memorable.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I mean, there's many memories, but something that comes to
- 1:37Speaker 1: mind is I had to jump in a freezing lake
- 1:42Speaker 1: even though it's summertime. You were was so, you know,
- 1:46Speaker 1: actually drumping a freezing lake. But then also there I
- 1:51Speaker 1: don't know why I became a theme there, Uncle or
- 1:54Speaker 1: my uncle in the Brown Uncle Brown, he wakes me
- 1:57Speaker 1: up with he wakes me up cold water and he yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 1: and he decided to get the coldest water. Ironically, we
- 2:02Speaker 1: didn't need to do the cold we didn't actually need it.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Needed cold water and.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Freezing film as well. We may or may not throw
- 2:08Speaker 2: you in water.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a theme going on here.
- 2:12Speaker 1: There is a theme. But you know, I think it
- 2:15Speaker 1: was my first introduction of what people in the acting
- 2:19Speaker 1: community loved to call crafty and that's where there's a
- 2:22Speaker 1: collection of delicious snacks. Shadow Marisa, my shadow who does
- 2:26Speaker 1: our hair and makeup as she and I love Reese's
- 2:29Speaker 1: pieces and I would go and just devour as many pieces.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And I remember there was one night where we were
- 2:35Speaker 1: filming I think it was camp Rock two. It was
- 2:38Speaker 1: the final jam against camp Star and it was our first,
- 2:42Speaker 1: really one of our first experiences of shooting at nights,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and I just remember me Nick and me, Nick and
- 2:48Speaker 1: DEMI like having just this is probably before we drink coffee.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It was just sugar, lots of sugar. What about what
- 2:58Speaker 1: about it to stay awake through the night.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they poured.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Water on me that night and because I guess I
- 3:05Speaker 1: came from the lake and you could see how cold
- 3:07Speaker 1: it was, because it was just like seeing off my body. Yes,
- 3:11Speaker 1: I do remember this, the things we do, so many memories.
- 3:14Speaker 1: We're gonna hear about even more memories with the new
- 3:16Speaker 1: Campers Carock three casts. We have an incredible group. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: love it stars of the movie that'll be joining us
- 3:23Speaker 1: as well as you know, some some good stories that
- 3:27Speaker 1: will share the o G cast too, and some of
- 3:29Speaker 1: the og cast. One other really exciting thing that we
- 3:32Speaker 1: have going on tomorrow is this incredible partnership with Hyundai,
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yes Hope on Wheels, where we're actually going to have
- 3:39Speaker 1: three amazing guests who are warriors. Uh and and Hundai's
- 3:44Speaker 1: an incredible job donating a portion up from every purchase
- 3:49Speaker 1: to this incredible three hundred million dollars raised that supports researchers, doctors,
- 3:53Speaker 1: families and children living with cancer. What a great organize
- 3:57Speaker 1: and battling cancer and so the beautiful thing they're doing
- 3:59Speaker 1: a huge to have them with us and to get
- 4:01Speaker 1: to spotlight those guests and of course camp our three casts.
- 4:04Speaker 2: That's right, It's gonna be a blast.
- 4:05Speaker 1: So make sure to check out the Hey Jonas podcast
- 4:07Speaker 1: Wherever you podcast podcast and watch us on Disney pleasant.
- 4:12Speaker 2: H It's time for voicemails.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Oh you guys started without me. I'm giving myself insing.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I apologize.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I'll just one second. This episode sponsored by Type one diabetes,
- 4:36Speaker 1: by the disease. Well, this episode brought to you by
- 4:41Speaker 1: an autoimmune awareness is an awareness episode. This is an
- 4:44Speaker 1: awareness episode. Let's get into voicemails, shall we, Hey, this
- 4:48Speaker 1: is any from Chicago.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I've had three ankle surgeries in the span of two years,
- 4:54Speaker 3: and since recovery, I've been trying to go back to
- 4:56Speaker 3: the gym. I'm sure to go back to the gym
- 4:58Speaker 3: after being out for a while, just self conscious about it.
- 5:01Speaker 3: But I was wondering, what's the most embarrassing gym moment
- 5:04Speaker 3: you guys have ever had, hoping maybe it'll make me
- 5:07Speaker 3: feel a little bit better about myself.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Well, happy that you're hopefully feeling better enough to go
- 5:12Speaker 1: to the gym, so that means you're feeling kind of better.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So three surgeries is a lot kind of curious what happened,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but yeah, I want to know. She's not a voicemail.
- 5:19Speaker 1: So it also sounded like she was on the phone
- 5:21Speaker 1: underneath the sheet, like in her bed, telling him the story.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That did sound the or she's in the gym building
- 5:26Speaker 1: up the confidence. Maybe, well, the most embarrassing thing that's
- 5:30Speaker 1: happened at the gym, Jim, it's a very specific place
- 5:34Speaker 1: for an embarrassing story. Yeah, I've eaten shit on the treadmill,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you know, like really classic you know, Oh yeah, I
- 5:42Speaker 1: full fall down like flip out, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and you just that's when you Wow, what a loser.
- 5:48Speaker 1: You have to make the choice of either getting back
- 5:50Speaker 1: on the treadmill or walking away and never going back
- 5:53Speaker 1: to that gym again.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So which one did you do?
- 5:56Speaker 4: Well?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Of course I got back in my car and I
- 5:58Speaker 1: never went back because that's the right thing to do.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I've got one. I kind of agree with you on
- 6:04Speaker 1: that one. I was in Hawaii and I was shooting
- 6:07Speaker 1: the first Jumanji Nice and Kevin Heart invited me to
- 6:11Speaker 1: come work out with him and his trainer and his
- 6:14Speaker 1: two boys that are with him his purpose team. And
- 6:18Speaker 1: he's like, We're gonna get up at six am or whatever.
- 6:20Speaker 1: It was five am before we go to work, and
- 6:23Speaker 1: I was like, all right, and I'm thinking to myself,
- 6:25Speaker 1: you know, I'm at the time, I'm twenty two, twenty three,
- 6:29Speaker 1: you got this. You know, Kevin's ten to fifteen years
- 6:32Speaker 1: older than me, I think, and so I should be
- 6:35Speaker 1: able to like handle myself in the gym with Kevin
- 6:37Speaker 1: and his guys. And the first thing they do is
- 6:41Speaker 1: they're like, all right, twelve minutes sprint on the treadmill.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And I'm like, all right, And so it's started to sprint.
- 6:45Speaker 1: About seven minutes in, I'm like this is like really
- 6:48Speaker 1: intense fall out sprint, and I'm thinking, all right, the
- 6:51Speaker 1: rest of the workout is going to be chill because
- 6:53Speaker 1: we just got the heart rate up and now it's
- 6:54Speaker 1: gonna like lift whatever. Then they're like, all right, we're
- 6:56Speaker 1: gonna swing on these things to like jump to the
- 6:59Speaker 1: next you know. Handlebart like what is happening? And they're
- 7:02Speaker 1: doing chin up says they do it. This was the
- 7:04Speaker 1: most intense workout I've ever done. Oh about halfway through,
- 7:07Speaker 1: he's like, you good because he could see that I
- 7:09Speaker 1: was like about to throw up, and I was like, yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 1: I'm totally fine. And then I think he saw like
- 7:13Speaker 1: blood in the water and was like, let's go even harder.
- 7:15Speaker 1: So then it got more intense.
- 7:17Speaker 2: He was trying to point.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yeah, he was trying to be.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Like like this young kid, I'm going to show him
- 7:21Speaker 2: what's going on.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And he did. He he broke me did you throw out?
- 7:25Speaker 1: I got back to the hotel when I threw up. Oh,
- 7:28Speaker 1: it took everything. I had to be like I'm not
- 7:29Speaker 1: throwing up in front of Vin Hart. Wow. And then
- 7:32Speaker 1: uh yeah, I'd never worked out with him again.
- 7:35Speaker 4: I wouldn't.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I definitely worked out hard with a new trainer one
- 7:39Speaker 1: time and absolutely puked mid workout. I was just like, Nope,
- 7:42Speaker 1: too much, too much, and that was that. Never worked
- 7:46Speaker 1: out with him again. Yeah, well, shout out Kevin Hart.
- 7:48Speaker 1: He's a beast. He's like next level fit. Okay, let's
- 7:51Speaker 1: hear another one, shall we?
- 7:53Speaker 5: Hey guys, my name's Amanda, and I have a question,
- 7:56Speaker 5: I guess for all of you. So I have a
- 7:58Speaker 5: guy friend.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Who we'd where this is going going.
- 8:01Speaker 5: With each other. We both have expressed that we like
- 8:03Speaker 5: each other, but he knows that I'm a Christian and
- 8:06Speaker 5: he does not have a faith. He's not a religious person,
- 8:09Speaker 5: and so he doesn't think that we should date because
- 8:11Speaker 5: we might not be compatible long term. But we're pretty
- 8:13Speaker 5: compatible and pretty much every other way. So I guess
- 8:16Speaker 5: I would just ask for any advice or input that
- 8:18Speaker 5: you guys might have from your own experiences there, or
- 8:21Speaker 5: just what you would recommend for someone in that situation, thinks.
- 8:24Speaker 1: So I think I missed it. Does she say that
- 8:26Speaker 1: he is not in religious or she's not religious? And
- 8:29Speaker 1: he's the one who saying we may not be compatible,
- 8:31Speaker 1: which I would think for becosed, Yeah, sure, that's really interesting. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 1: I mean he might just be like, I don't. I
- 8:38Speaker 1: don't see myself changing the way I feel about Christianity,
- 8:43Speaker 1: and so I hope that doesn't totally bother you down
- 8:45Speaker 1: the road, because that might be important for her. But
- 8:47Speaker 1: it sounds like she's like, I'm down, He's not down
- 8:49Speaker 1: because of it kind of feels like he's pointing the
- 8:52Speaker 1: finger saying it's you, not me. A little bit of
- 8:55Speaker 1: that kind of feels like maybe there's just a conversation
- 8:58Speaker 1: that should happen to say, hey, is it is it
- 9:01Speaker 1: important to you that the person that you date is
- 9:04Speaker 1: a person that that practices the same religion as you?
- 9:07Speaker 1: And the answer is for for her. For Amanda, she says,
- 9:10Speaker 1: it doesn't matter to me, then then he should be like,
- 9:13Speaker 1: all right, cool, then we connect and every other way. Yeah,
- 9:16Speaker 1: as long as your expectation is not that I have
- 9:19Speaker 1: to practice in the same way he might not want
- 9:21Speaker 1: to go with her to church on Sundays, and as
- 9:23Speaker 1: long as she's cool with that, I mean I think
- 9:24Speaker 1: everything's just will this become a yeah, you need to
- 9:28Speaker 1: have this conversation because the next step is then people
- 9:32Speaker 1: have resentment because oh I thought I was going to
- 9:33Speaker 1: change him or change her, like that's not gonna be changing.
- 9:36Speaker 1: People can't be changing. People can't do that unchangeable. Well,
- 9:39Speaker 1: I think there's you know what to do. He's gotta
- 9:41Speaker 1: be like, yo, they don't bother me if if you're
- 9:44Speaker 1: not going to be Christian with me, but if that's
- 9:46Speaker 1: something you decide one day, so be it totally. Okay.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Next one, that was I think we get that was
- 9:50Speaker 1: solid advice there.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Hey, this is Chelsea.
- 9:52Speaker 6: I am a pediatric nurse and I take care of
- 9:55Speaker 6: kiddo's recently dragging those with type one diabetes. I've heard
- 9:59Speaker 6: over the year is a little next journey, but was
- 10:01Speaker 6: wondering if there were any tips or education you received
- 10:04Speaker 6: in the beginning or even later on that was a
- 10:06Speaker 6: game changer that I to pass on my patients, also
- 10:09Speaker 6: teaching their siblings with what's going on. A lot of
- 10:13Speaker 6: kiddos have never heard of diabetes. So Kevin, Joe, are
- 10:16Speaker 6: there anything that helps you guys understand more of what
- 10:19Speaker 6: was going on? Any tips or tricks You're appreciated, thinks.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Okay, my advice for you, Chelsea, By the way, thank
- 10:25Speaker 1: you for being what you do. Go out what you do.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It's incredible. It's not advice that the thing I learned
- 10:31Speaker 1: about ten years into my diagnosis. I was diagnosed at thirteen,
- 10:35Speaker 1: so through my teens in my early twenties, I took
- 10:40Speaker 1: great pride in doing it all on my own and
- 10:42Speaker 1: just kind of dealing with it and not letting it
- 10:45Speaker 1: slow me down or affect my day to day life.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Part of that was also because I did feel this
- 10:52Speaker 1: enormous burden of what has become sort of meme culture,
- 10:56Speaker 1: which is unfortunate. And I'm not saying that it's woe
- 11:00Speaker 1: is me, because that's not the position that I'm taking,
- 11:02Speaker 1: but just that I'm aware of the fact that some
- 11:06Speaker 1: people who are not as educated, not as informed on
- 11:10Speaker 1: type one diabetes think that it is not a serious condition.
- 11:15Speaker 1: To be clear, if treated with insulin management, with glucose
- 11:20Speaker 1: readings either on a meter, a fingerprick meter, or a CGM.
- 11:25Speaker 1: If you don't have those tools and you're not taking
- 11:27Speaker 1: care of your type one diabetes, it's categorized as an autoimmune,
- 11:30Speaker 1: which means that at any point in time, it can
- 11:32Speaker 1: become a very serious and potentially fatal disease. As I
- 11:36Speaker 1: was learning how to deal with it, taking all this
- 11:38Speaker 1: on myself to be independent, I was also kind of
- 11:41Speaker 1: dealing with this thing that was really discouraging that there
- 11:44Speaker 1: was a dismissal of this thing, which also makes it frankly,
- 11:47Speaker 1: very difficult to raise money for programs to create access
- 11:54Speaker 1: and affordability to create better life programs for young people
- 11:57Speaker 1: living with diabetes who want to learn, because people don't
- 12:00Speaker 1: think it's serious. And if it's properly managed, it isn't
- 12:04Speaker 1: that serious. It's not going to become fatal. But if
- 12:05Speaker 1: it's not, if there are places in the world that
- 12:07Speaker 1: don't have that access, it can be fatal. It can
- 12:10Speaker 1: be a really really tough thing. So all that to
- 12:15Speaker 1: be said, what I learned was that I have to
- 12:19Speaker 1: take it on myself, be as responsible as I can be,
- 12:21Speaker 1: but not get discouraged when there's going to be a
- 12:23Speaker 1: day where my glucose is higher than I'd like it
- 12:25Speaker 1: to be. That's just a part of living with it.
- 12:27Speaker 1: As your body changes, as you get older, certain things
- 12:30Speaker 1: that never affect your glucose are suddenly going to And
- 12:33Speaker 1: there's a long list of things that have done that
- 12:36Speaker 1: for me as I've gotten older. So I had to
- 12:38Speaker 1: start to rely on my community, my friends, my family,
- 12:41Speaker 1: my wife to support me in my journey and take
- 12:44Speaker 1: some of that pressure off, because if I try to
- 12:46Speaker 1: do it all myself, it's going to have a greater
- 12:48Speaker 1: mental and emotional impact than I ever realized when I
- 12:51Speaker 1: was young, and it's going to just make the day
- 12:55Speaker 1: and day out process of living with a disease that
- 12:57Speaker 1: much harder. So if there's any sort of summary in there,
- 13:00Speaker 1: it would be to say, for your young patients, encourage
- 13:03Speaker 1: them to lean on their their their friends, their family,
- 13:06Speaker 1: their circle of trust, because that's what will help them
- 13:09Speaker 1: through those tough moments where there's the emotional hurdle and
- 13:12Speaker 1: also the physical which is completely out of your control.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Well said, great, Now tell us what your advice would be. Guys.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You know, I kind of wrote that for kit Nick
- 13:21Speaker 1: to read, so it kind of covers it. I will
- 13:26Speaker 1: say that we did something recently where we had a
- 13:29Speaker 1: person come in that was a doctor and somebody that
- 13:34Speaker 1: also has Type one and they walked us through pretty
- 13:39Speaker 1: much everything about diabetes in Layman's terms for us, and
- 13:44Speaker 1: also showed us different devices, then showed us certain pens
- 13:47Speaker 1: glucose pens and how to use them in case of emergency,
- 13:51Speaker 1: and what are the signs and how to speak to
- 13:52Speaker 1: somebody that has diabetes and communicate and when to check
- 13:55Speaker 1: in with them their blood sugar is low when it's
- 13:57Speaker 1: a pro what they all ever get? Correct me if
- 13:59Speaker 1: I'm wrong, Nick, this is what we learned. This is
- 14:01Speaker 1: my test, and they how to kind of have that
- 14:05Speaker 1: conversation of checking in with your friend what is their
- 14:08Speaker 1: low number, to the point where they feel like, hey,
- 14:11Speaker 1: you can check in on me if it's at a
- 14:13Speaker 1: certain number, like I'm fine, I'll handle it. But if
- 14:15Speaker 1: it goes lower, just I got I need help. But
- 14:18Speaker 1: it was really educational. It was really great and yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 1: so and I think it was cool because we obviously
- 14:23Speaker 1: have been around you, Nick, now for how many years
- 14:27Speaker 1: is it actually November will be twenty one years? Wow,
- 14:32Speaker 1: twenty one years. We have been, you know, beside you
- 14:35Speaker 1: while you've been dealing with this disease. And it's still
- 14:39Speaker 1: great to be re educated and have a tune up
- 14:42Speaker 1: on our education to make sure that we're prepared. And
- 14:45Speaker 1: I was trying to give you props earlier because I
- 14:46Speaker 1: was just saying the amount of things you have to
- 14:48Speaker 1: deal with on a daily basis. I think something that she,
- 14:51Speaker 1: the incredible person that we were working with, mentioned was like,
- 14:55Speaker 1: every step you take, Nick is taking infinite number more
- 15:00Speaker 1: steps every time that they do anything in their day,
- 15:03Speaker 1: Like it's twenty to thirty more decisions every day with
- 15:06Speaker 1: every single decision. And I think that really rang true
- 15:08Speaker 1: to me. I was like, Wow, not even thinking, Okay,
- 15:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna eat this, I'm going to work out on
- 15:13Speaker 1: stage and when it goes first swim, I'm going to
- 15:15Speaker 1: do whatever it may be. Those quick little decisions you
- 15:18Speaker 1: make in your daily life are so much more compounded
- 15:22Speaker 1: having Type one diabetes, and I think that really stayed
- 15:24Speaker 1: with me.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Nice to move on, Hi, I want to know if
- 15:28Speaker 4: you have any recommendation for our friend that is having
- 15:32Speaker 4: enoffer with merriment. I know it's very horrible to say
- 15:38Speaker 4: it like that, but well, the situation she just got divorced,
- 15:42Speaker 4: so i've been her first thing to do was having
- 15:49Speaker 4: enough with this man. She's probably in a great time,
- 15:52Speaker 4: But I don't know. I don't think it's a good idea.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Could you tell me something, any recommendation.
- 16:00Speaker 1: You recommendation stop, But it's just I'm confused. I think
- 16:07Speaker 1: she knows this friend very very well, almost like the
- 16:10Speaker 1: back of her hand. Well she was perhaps she might
- 16:14Speaker 1: be this person. Well, I was trying to be subtle.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Ath I so sorry. I just want to back it
- 16:23Speaker 1: up here. Her friend is having an affair with a
- 16:27Speaker 1: married man. With a married man, she just got a
- 16:30Speaker 1: friend that she her friend just got divorced, and then
- 16:33Speaker 1: now she's having an affair. Now she's having a quote
- 16:37Speaker 1: great time. Well, well, any advice? I mean, I think
- 16:43Speaker 1: we can't give her advice. She's going to make up
- 16:45Speaker 1: her own mind about the situation. But I think your
- 16:48Speaker 1: advice to her and being her friend is probably I
- 16:51Speaker 1: don't know, you need to have. You should probably not
- 16:53Speaker 1: do this. You should probably just sit her down and
- 16:55Speaker 1: be like, hey, I care about you. This affects way
- 16:58Speaker 1: more people than just you, and you might need to
- 17:01Speaker 1: realize that. Also, the married man has a ton of
- 17:03Speaker 1: responsibility in this. Let's not overlook that. Yeah, but yeah, yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 1: absolutely of course. But I think she's not friends with
- 17:09Speaker 1: that guy. She's friends with her friend, who's the one
- 17:13Speaker 1: that's the home wrecker in the situation. Sure, I think
- 17:16Speaker 1: I think if she's asking advice for her friend, then
- 17:22Speaker 1: then I think, you know, she clearly has a dilemma
- 17:27Speaker 1: of conscience, right, like a there's an understanding that this
- 17:32Speaker 1: is inherently not something that they should be doing right,
- 17:38Speaker 1: which is why they are asking for advice on what
- 17:41Speaker 1: to do without judgment, Because I'm not judging anybody. That
- 17:44Speaker 1: sets the stage for the conversation, which is that they
- 17:46Speaker 1: know morally they feel conflicted. Okay, I'm being very careful
- 17:52Speaker 1: how I navigate this because I don't want to step
- 17:54Speaker 1: in any any poop here. Now that we know that
- 17:56Speaker 1: they feel morally conflicted, I would say to the friend,
- 18:00Speaker 1: you should listen to that and to your point, shoe,
- 18:04Speaker 1: it is your decision to make. No one can influence
- 18:07Speaker 1: you to a point or make you feel so bad
- 18:09Speaker 1: that you make a decision and change the outcome. But
- 18:13Speaker 1: listen to that inner voice that's saying, hey, if you're
- 18:16Speaker 1: feeling conflicted, there's something there to listen to. Yeah. And
- 18:19Speaker 1: then in addition to that, I would say, she is
- 18:22Speaker 1: not the only one who has engaged in this thing
- 18:27Speaker 1: which is potentially problematic. The man has responsibility too. He
- 18:32Speaker 1: is the married party, she has divorced. There's a responsibility there. Yeah,
- 18:37Speaker 1: where's judge, Judy, let's get her in here. Yeah, give
- 18:40Speaker 1: us a judgment. Yeah, I think that's it seems like
- 18:43Speaker 1: something I think if you feel it, and you should
- 18:47Speaker 1: probably talk about it. Amen, it's great advice. Joe, you
- 18:50Speaker 1: got anything, keV, you kind of covered it. It's kind
- 18:53Speaker 1: of there's not much left to do. There no thoughts,
- 18:57Speaker 1: not one sure it's at this point she's I was
- 19:02Speaker 1: trying to not be as coy as you, Nick, But yes,
- 19:04Speaker 1: if it is in fact something she's dealing with, then
- 19:08Speaker 1: I think she, like you said, Nick, there is definitely
- 19:10Speaker 1: already a conflict and she needs to either make that
- 19:15Speaker 1: resolved or have a conversation about where the future lies
- 19:18Speaker 1: for the future decisions, because the decisions so far are
- 19:21Speaker 1: not ones that she feels probably one hundred percent with.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And this is her friend that she's not excited about.
- 19:28Speaker 1: But we could be wrong. It could be a friend.
- 19:30Speaker 1: And if it is a friend, I think, be a friend.
- 19:32Speaker 1: But tell them the real how you feel, because sometimes
- 19:36Speaker 1: they just need to hear the truth. Yes, facts, men,
- 19:39Speaker 1: So listen to more. We have one more, sure, one
- 19:42Speaker 1: more one of us.
- 19:43Speaker 4: I have been with my boyfriend for five years and we've.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Lived together for three and.
- 19:50Speaker 4: I don't know how to tell him that I'm ready
- 19:53Speaker 4: for the next step.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Oh but I don't think that he's ready anyway.
- 19:57Speaker 5: I just don't know how much longer.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I should wait, and I don't know what.
- 20:01Speaker 4: To do because we're both happy and I do love him,
- 20:04Speaker 4: but you know, I just need us to be on
- 20:07Speaker 4: the same path. So I'm hoping that you guys can
- 20:11Speaker 4: hopefully help me out.
- 20:12Speaker 6: And yeah, I love you all.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Okay. My name is Emily, by the way, bye.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Thank you, Emily.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You know, I didn't really she wasn't particular on what
- 20:23Speaker 1: the next step was, guys, could be give the assumption
- 20:27Speaker 1: is it could be? That's an assumption. Should you be
- 20:30Speaker 1: specify should we go with that as this conversation or
- 20:32Speaker 1: should we go somewhere else? Joe, I'm going to dinner?
- 20:35Speaker 1: The next step? Where should we have dinner? All right,
- 20:37Speaker 1: let's assume, just for the sake of your art, the
- 20:40Speaker 1: next step is engagement and then a wedding. Totally right.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I think at this point, the fact that she's here
- 20:48Speaker 1: and saying I'm ready for the next step, that you're there,
- 20:51Speaker 1: then that's the next step. Is you have to have
- 20:53Speaker 1: the conversation or talk about it, because she's already made
- 20:57Speaker 1: her established decision that that's next. And if he's never
- 21:00Speaker 1: going to get there. It's better to know now than
- 21:04Speaker 1: waste another five years if that's what you want it
- 21:06Speaker 1: out of a relationship. But it's tough because you know
- 21:08Speaker 1: they're happy. She doesn't want to she doesn't sure that's
- 21:11Speaker 1: up a bad thing. There's happy, and then there's still
- 21:14Speaker 1: wanting more. And from what she just said, I'm ready
- 21:17Speaker 1: she wants more. M h to start leaving hints around
- 21:20Speaker 1: the house. I was going to say that a little
- 21:22Speaker 1: rom com game would be good. That's my advice, because
- 21:25Speaker 1: you know what, what do you have to lose? Treat it
- 21:27Speaker 1: like a rom com. Just be like, oh wow, Susie
- 21:30Speaker 1: just got the nicest ring look, and he'd be like,
- 21:33Speaker 1: oh that's nice. She's like wow, Oh my gosh, that's crazy.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I can't remember. I think wow. I think she says
- 21:39Speaker 1: size eight ring, I'm a size nine. That's so crazy,
- 21:42Speaker 1: and we wear it on the same finger, drop his finger,
- 21:47Speaker 1: drop subtle hints like what size ring are you? I'm
- 21:49Speaker 1: an eight? Yeah? Right right? Oh wow?
- 21:54Speaker 6: Wow.
- 21:54Speaker 1: If we got married, like say, say we got married,
- 21:56Speaker 1: like where would you want to get married? Yeah? Little
- 21:58Speaker 1: subtle things like that, Oh yeah, you know, it could
- 22:00Speaker 1: be like honeymoon in like this place, if we ever
- 22:02Speaker 1: got married. You never, like, I've never thought about the honeymoon,
- 22:05Speaker 1: but if you had to think about it, Yeah, what
- 22:06Speaker 1: do you want? The Honeymoon's like the less pressure because
- 22:08Speaker 1: it's the fun thing you're right after. So it's like, oh,
- 22:11Speaker 1: you can play Mary fuck kill walk us through that? Hope,
- 22:16Speaker 1: he says, two out of three with two of her friends.
- 22:20Speaker 1: That could get really bad. Okay, I didn't suggest that.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Now it got really suggesting you play Mary f Kill
- 22:26Speaker 1: with two of your friends and your boyfriend. Advice maybe
- 22:32Speaker 1: just to random people. Just ask him the question, Hey,
- 22:35Speaker 1: what do you see as a next step for us?
- 22:36Speaker 1: I'd love to talk and the next step for what
- 22:42Speaker 1: you doing with once you propose? Yeah, there you can go.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You get you propose, and then we'll see what happens.
- 22:49Speaker 1: You say. Here's how you say it. Look, I got
- 22:51Speaker 1: I got it. It's like a beautiful setting, yeah, sunset
- 22:54Speaker 1: on the page. Whatever. Whatever his name is, for the
- 22:57Speaker 1: sake of this, let's just call him a card Riccardo
- 23:01Speaker 1: Riccardo Ricardo. If we were to play a game of
- 23:03Speaker 1: Mary f Kill, would you marry me? Or would you
- 23:09Speaker 1: fucking kill me? A h On that note, great, Bye bye,
- 23:19Speaker 1: bye bye,
