- 0:05[SPEAKER_02]: Hello, welcome to the MMQB NFL podcast on Conor there's Albuquerque and we have like what?
- 0:11[SPEAKER_02]: 72.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not good with the time 72 hours until the start of the NFL drank something like that.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, something like that.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_02]: Always suspiciously falls on my daughter's birthday, which is like a fun thing where we blow out the candles on the cake.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_02]: And then I disappear into the basement like an ogre for the next six hours.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_02]: But this one is, I think that this draft now, because Dan Jeremiah tweeted this the other day.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: And it was something like this draft is going to be a lot of fun.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get into it.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: And that was a really DJ.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: But now that the giants have traded and gotten the number 10 pick from for Dexter Lawrence, I'm kind of like, this draft might be full of not good players, but it's going to be a lot of fun.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: I've actually like sort of thought that all long just because I think what it lacks in quality it makes up for volatility if that makes sense because I just think like I mean who knows how like so I think you've got three guys at non-premium positions we've been over this that are top shelf prospects right like would be probably the number one guy at their position in almost any class and that's
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Caleb Downs, Sunny Styles, and Jeremiah Lov, right?
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: And then the guys, the premium positions, all leave you wanting for something.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why so many teams are looking to trade down.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, three, four, five, six, seven.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: All those teams are looking to trade down.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's because, well, I really like this guy, but I feel a lot better about taking a middle one, or 12, or 13.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think that creates some volatility at the top.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: Then I think you have the offensive tackles coming off the board, which I think there'll be seven in the first round.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: We see if I can get a Prince Smauinoa for Miami, Caleb Lomu, and Spencer Fano from Utah.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: Monro, Freeline from Georgia, Caden, Proctor from Alabama, Blake Miller, from...
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: Clemson and Max Hennachore.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you hear our eHannachore from premieres on the state.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: Those seven, which that shows you me rattling those off that I've been on the phone too much over the last week.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: But all seven of those guys have been going on the first round and then there's a drop off, right?
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's going to create some movement as far as teams that really need tackles.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: The receivers are interesting, you've got, I think six receivers probably going in the first round.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's just like I feel like there's like a lot of volatility maybe a lot.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot less predictable than then what we would normally have at the top and really through the first round and here's a couple of things to consider here there are now 16s with multiple first round picks so 16s without one and and six teams with that one right so you have six teams that essentially control what
- 2:51[SPEAKER_02]: like a third of the draft fix right and I think how that influences the draft Albert is like if you're if you're the giants for for example or if you're the cowboys or if you're any of these other teams up multiple first you're not necessarily stacking your board the way that another team is where it's like best player you almost need to come away with complimentary selections which I think just makes your take on this draft right in another team.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think like, you know, you look at the jets with four of the top 44.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: You look at the chief for three of the top 40.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like those teams have the luxury now to look at the draft is a mosaic, right?
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, all right, like if I take this tackle here,
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: What sort of receiver am I going to get later on?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think that's the equation for the Browns, right?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like the Browns, it's 6 and 24.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: They'd like to come away with a tackle on a receiver.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: What's the smarter way to take them?
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: You know, is it carnal-tate or type Jordan Tyson at 6?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then you try to trade up in 24 and get a tackle.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Is it maybe you hope like Omar Cooper is available all the way down in 24 and you just take Francis Maui Noah?
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, you hear them connected to the department row freely in Caden Proctor, which tells you maybe they are looking at the idea of moving up from 24.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, I think there are these these power brokers now.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, in this year's draft where like they have the luxury to look at it, like different ways, the chiefs are a great example.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Rubin Bane, maybe a Rubin Bane men's sort of lane.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: Um,
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I can't get into the car and I'll take Jordan Tyson.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think all these guys spend their fan and all these guys are in play for them.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: And they can kind of play it is like, all right.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like so.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: What's going to be left at 29th, these positions, what's going to be left at 40 at these positions, and so do we just take the position, maybe we're less likely to fill later on early, because it'll make the classes a whole better.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: It always makes me feel a little uneasy when you just listed like nine possible players for the chiefs to take and I just turned in my mock draft and not one of them was the one that I have.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: Who do you have?
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: Well, okay, so, you know, a lot of those lines, and I'll give everyone a little bit of a sneak preview, not like my mock is anything that anyone's clamoring to get.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like the Kaipur mock that's dropping here, but I have a couple first round trades, and one of them are the chiefs and the browns doing a pick swap.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: So basically, to chiefs going up and up in the reason why to stick with me neither in this case.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason why is because the chiefs have had to accept
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: whatever tackle falls to them for years, right?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: And so by moving up to six with Cleveland, who is more and different and has more holes to fill, the chiefs are like, I get to take
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: whatever offensive lineman I want.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: I need an offensive lineman.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: I know they're having trouble with the first round pick from last year, right, already and there's some issues there.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the town sounded like a question, but it's a can we trust him.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: And so if they can't trust him, is that a great spot to take Maui Noah?
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: or Spencer Fano, Fesier Guy, right?
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: And to move up to six and say, I don't care, but I'm never gonna pick this high again with Patrick Mahomes.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: And so I need the best offensive linemen in this draft.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's like, so I don't know.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we gotta film with this.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: And you gotta think like, Vich and try to maximize the value here a little bit.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think it's like, and like that's the thing about it is like it's just, you got positional value in play,
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just all these interesting arguments like that are big picture arguments and how you put together a team and all that all that stuff's in play, you know, and I think that makes this, I think that makes this year interesting, you know, I think it makes it more interesting because there isn't like a, you know, like let's say you're the,
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's the cowboys at 12, right?
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: And let's say for some reason, like, let's say down's falls to you there, right?
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: And like, maybe you don't view safety as a position that you should take that high.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: but then you'd be really reaching on a corner there.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: So are you willing to take a corner who might be a number two corner in the long run over what could be an all-pro safety?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: And you're assuming that the lane's off the board there, huh?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: You're assuming like the lane is off the board there.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: By the time the death.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think the McCoy injury situation, which we can get to, yes, really bad.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think the McCoy injury situation,
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: has cemented delaying as like the number one and there isn't like a close to at that position, which I think pushes them up a little bit.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you want a guy with a potential to be a number one corner, I think it almost has to be Minnesota delaying now.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to get to we're going to kind of play around with the top 10 here and talk a little bit about what Albert's hearing.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_02]: I encourage everybody to after the pod.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: Albert's kind of big information gathering column on the draft is going to be up at SI dot com so I'd encourage you to run over there and just sort of.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: View that is some supplemental reading to today's episode, but I want to start with the Dexter Lawrence trade Albert in our business always love like a Saturday night blockbuster I was in the Ross I was putting a three kids to bed and You know, was it across in 40 degree drizzle?
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: How about that?
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: God bless you.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'd already done tea ball that morning, so I was I was pretty cooked
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: The initial thought from this is holy shit.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_02]: The giant's got a top 10 pick from the back.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_02]: And the giant's crushed this and the giant's won the trade.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: I went back and I thought about it again.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: I thought about it from Dexter Lawrence's perspective.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: I thought about it from the giant's perspective.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_02]: I thought about it.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's brilliant on all sides.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: I really do.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: At the risk of making this and everybody, one thing,
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the, like so I was talking to a GM last night and he said to me that he thinks Dexter Warrens is more talented than anybody in this year's draft and he would take him even at his age with his mileage over any defensive player in this year's draft.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: And the reality of the situation is they're getting him now at 70 million dollars over three years, which is less than 25 million dollars a year.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, I need any kind of highway in half here.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: It was 23 and a half.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're asking me.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a 7.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_02]: I did this so I didn't have to do that.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to do it really quick on my, okay, 70 divided by three equals.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: 23 three three three three three three three three three three three three three and the series and the last three's and the last three yes Which is a I to me is like a bargain right and I know so the bangles are there a couple things here.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's who are we going to get a 10 and Like I think their hope would have been doing or downs right like they get somebody to help their defense there
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so I, their whole thing is when the offense breaks the huddle, like who is the really most likely to be worried about on a Wednesday, who are they most likely to be game planning around and it's that's their Lawrence, right?
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: Those guys could be good players and those guys are cheaper, but at like, I got a touch over $23 million a year, you're getting a guy who was a defense player, the year candidate
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like I just think like I look at it from the Bengals perspective and and and you see where they're at and what they need to do to create some hope and what they would be getting at 10 and I just look at it like.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: you got to do something to like that defense needs a difference maker like that's really what it's lacked and this is a guy who I think can make sure Mars do a better like they have BJ Hill TJ Slight and you know Chris Jenkins you know they they've got like a defensive tackle room like this is like a legitimate weakness last year they brought us an Allen
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like now it's probably one of the stronger detachable rooms in the league, right?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that's going to make the ends better.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like so, do you wind up, you know, do you accelerate the Shamar Stures development a little bit here?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: It also, and this is something I didn't put in my column this morning, but I meant to, I think the other thing they looked at, which is really an interesting thing.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: Interior or offensive line is suddenly a weakness for some of the contenders in the AFC North.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, right, like Baltimore cleavans and flocks in the middle, they, they, Why tell her and Joe Bitton here, right, the Ravens Luz, Luz, Tyler Lenderbomb.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: The Steelers are a little more solid in there, but they still lost.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: I, I, I, I see them all.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's taking advantage of an issue in their division as well.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I just like, look at this all the way around and it's like,
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't do this every year, but given the price, right, given the history of defensive tackles, I mean, Chris Jones is still somebody team's game plan at GameChannel, in order to 32 years old.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: Aaron Donald was dominant into his 30s, 30s, 31, 32 throughout his career.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: He was a dominant guy.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: But there's reason to believe that Dexter Lawrence is still going to be, like you're going to get like four, you could get four years out of him.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: And that's on the rookie contract.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: I will let people to understand this.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: So in 2022, when the giants were in the playoffs, they can see Eagles.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_02]: I was doing a game plan column, and I was talking to some coaches, and I was like, hey, what would you look out for?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: You know, when the Eagles have the ball?
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: And one coach said, just watch how far out of their way, they're gonna go to work away from Dexter Lawrence and to trap him off the field and to run as many places they can when he's not on the field.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: And that's wild to say about someone who's 350 pounds in place.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's tackle.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: Because even he's a little different than Donald.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: We're Donald played a lot of end, right?
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and he could move to the edge because he was fast enough.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: Dexter Lawrence is a pure zero one, right?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's tackle.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, his pressure rate at that position,
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: is unmatched.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: And so I love it for the Bengals.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: I love it for Dexter Lawrence.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like you said, you now get, so in addition to what you said about the offensive line Albert, who are the two of the highest sacrate quarterbacks in the NFL.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: Should door Sanders and Dylan Gabriel from last year, who was one of the highest sacrate quarterbacks in the NFL before that to Sean Watson.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: So you got your three over there in Cleveland.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: And then you got Aaron Rodgers is 42.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: If he ends up showing up,
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: And so if you're Dexter Lawrence, like, you know, you can play this out where I think you're going to be able to eat again from a contract perspective as long as you kick ass this year and then you'll be able to renegotiate and the bangles are not going to want to be on the hook for a guy and they gave a top 10 pick for, you know, and you're going to be able to get that raise regardless, right?
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: like, what sort of player are you getting?
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: So at the first thing I'd look at is like, why, like, the, the, the, the, his original teams actions, right?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: And the giants, really the reason they didn't redo them last year was because they didn't want to set the precedent of doing a guy with three years left on his deal.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: And the premise there is, well, if we do that, you know, a Brian Burns would be back at the table after the season he just had.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you'd have like guys, just, and it would be an issue for you, right?
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: So they did the incentive package for him.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then I think one interesting nuance in this.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: And this is in my column is the 10th pick was on the table for a week.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: That, to me, shows the, like, it illustrates how the giants were trying to keep this thing alive and the giants were exploring ways to keep them there now they couldn't find a way to finish it, but the fact that they made an effort to keep them.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think tells you something too.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I, you know, I just, I don't know, I look at it like for Cincinnati.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: They've done a lot of things to try to fix their defense.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that much of it's worked.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think, you know, like you've got a defensive class that has some depth.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I think you should be able to get some players later and I don't know no defensive tackles.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, no defensive tackles and I don't think
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: value of the 10th pick this year.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that was the other things.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: They looked at their draft board and they saw the guy we're taking here is going to have a mid-delate first round grade.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: And that's sort of another piece of how they're valuing that pick.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because the 10th pick isn't the same value every year.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Now for the giants.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: You move on from a guy that you had an issue with, you were going to continue to have a contract crash wheel issue with.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: And now you've got two of the top 10 picks, which makes you a very real, again, like, that's the flip side of this is that, and I looked this up last night,
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: there has not been a veteran player, a veteran non-quarter bag dealt for a top 10-pick clean, like without, like not, like there was like one for match-off, where it was like a give-back scenario, like it was shot in 10, go to Atlanta for for eight, you know.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like the last time a top 10-pick got traded clean for a veteran player period was Russell Wilson five years ago, the last
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: was Randy Moss 21 years ago.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: So this is also a rare opportunity for the giants to get a high-end piece, you know, and we'll see how that one goes.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: The NBA playoffs are finally here and underdog is the best place to get in on all the action playing on underdog is easy.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: Just pick whether your favorite players will go higher or lower on stats like points, rebounds, steals and more, get your picks right and you could win up to 5,000 times your cash.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: This week on underdog, I'm looking at the nicks and that playoff series against the hawks I'm up here in the Northeast, Jalen Bronson going higher.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: then 20 points against that Hawke's defense.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_02]: I want the next go to the title game.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what happens down below that app today.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: And use promo code MMQB to score $50 in bonus entries when you play your first $5.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's promo code MMQB.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: Underdog, make picks win money.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: Must be 18 plus 19 plus an Alabama Nebraska 19 plus in Colorado for some games 20 plus an Arizona Massachusetts in Virginia and president of the state were unadded fancy operates from supply can so with your play call 100 my reset or 100 gambler or visit www.ncbgamele.org Arizona 1 at her next step 1-800-639-878-3 or text next step 2-5-5-342 New York, collect 21-7-7-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8
- 18:23[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not like it wasn't like the good Randy Moss trade.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: It was the it was the yikes Randy Moss trade.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, I don't want people to conflate it as like, this is like a generational occurrence.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, no, this is just a confluence.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_02]: Perfect storm of a really bad draft, a team that needs to be good this year and the Bengals.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I think a giant's team that is is starting over.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the last piece of this right Albert is like, we talk all the time on this show about
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: the need to put your stamp on an organization and John Harbaugh can't start training camp and run a really hard training camp and a really physical training camp with Dexter Lawrence sitting out, right?
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: Or Dexter Lawrence being out of shape which he was last year, Dexter Lawrence, not giving you know what, which he didn't last year, right?
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: And so you can't have that, you don't want it.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure you wanted him back at the right price and all that kind of stuff,
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's so much easier now to take two of your guys and I actually like so and we'll get to this in a second when we kind of fill out the first that top 10 here and talk a little bit about what you're hearing but I like 5 and 10 like and the giants could even go come away.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: let's just talk about like with the Caleb Downs and sunny styles or whatever it is, you know, Caleb or sunny styles in Jordan, Tyson or whatever.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, you would say, wow, like that's great.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: Even in an even in a bad draft, that's great.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's great for them because they need stuff to fit.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: They need players to fit with their doing now and not what they had been trying to do for the last, you know, half decade.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: And you're going to be asking a lot of these guys like that's the other thing is like, I
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: I look at it like so I mean if John Harbaugh is allowed to practice for two and a half hours.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's gonna go to 229.59.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and he has had, he's demanding, he's tough, he gets results.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: And like, he wants people who are, the one thing about John that I think is really interesting that I, and I've always felt this way.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he genuinely wants people who are going to embrace it.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're going to like, this isn't just, and I think at the end of Baltimore, there might be in a little bit less of that than he had had, you know?
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: And, but for a time, he really had that, you know what I mean?
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: And having that level of buying from your best players is really important to running a program the way that he wants to run it.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: which is like similar to Bellachec.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: A certain type of guy to play with for Bellachec.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: It took a, you know, Nick Sabin and Alabama.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: They had a certain type of guy that would play there.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's the same sort of thing with John Harbaugh.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that kind of can be a guiding light as far as like what you're looking at them doing when it comes to the fifth and the tenth pick.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Let's roll into because again, I think that there's now we're getting into kind of the the the complexion of this top 10, which the giants have a lot to to a lot of responsibility for and I think that they can move and shake Joe Shane, by the way, I think the only GM and modern NFL history to twice have multiple first drafts I think I saw that staff somewhere.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, good luck to you.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's tough for Shane because.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, you know, you wouldn't be in this position in different scenarios if the classes were better.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I remember talking to someone who was like, you know, during that cave on tiptoe draft, not with the giants.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: But like, okay, cave on tiptoe in a normal draft is probably like a 20th pick.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: But in that draft, just based on how everything lined up, he was like the best edge after Aiden Hutchinson, right?
- 22:13[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, you kind of get bumped up a little bit.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: All right, because he's a very long draft one.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Hutchinson too.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: So you get bumped up a little bit.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: And, and that's how that all comes together.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: And Evan Neil, I mean, whatever.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: I was so wrong on him.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he should have gone number one overall.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I would have been run out of town as a general manager.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: So, but it was a bad.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: It was in a great
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was, it was another one of those years where you look at it and it's like, can you pick it was the quarterback that went in the first round and right it was just like even now was that hold on that was that was dare extremely right.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: I believe, sauce gardener, yes.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so, but that's after you remember, Derek Stingley, like he had, like, now he was unbelievable as a freshman at LSU, this explains that trap.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: He was unbelievable as a freshman at LSU.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Then I believe like opted out of the COVID year and then like basically past himself to the draft because LSU was a complete shit show in 2021.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: And he was the third pick in the draft.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously he became a great player and credit to the Texans for developing them and all that different stuff.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, it was, it was that sort of year for sure.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: And look, like, I think there's, like, lessons in that, too.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Hamilton went 14.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: If you redraft that year, where do you think you won?
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, you go.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, it's, you look at like the non-premium positions.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: And like, that's where you can dig out some guys.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 23:44[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, well, let's, let's, let's get rolling through the top 10.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_02]: All right, and again, s i dot com if you want to check out a little bit more depth to Albert's notes.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_02]: Number one of the raiders.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm done with that.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not even talking about that.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: They're taking for him and those that one is, you know, for an element does has been like calling Raider plays in his sleep for the last three months.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: Just families all outfitted.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's good.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: You know, do you do you very quick question.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: If you're the Raiders, because do you remember when the draft was at Radio City when it was actually good and you always saw the people walking around with the sleeves of team hats because God forbid a guy got drafted need to have the right hat like there were like kind of handlers always walking around with like boxes of new era draft hats because when you get drafted you need to have the hat with your team on it right right away and then you put it on right when you're walking there.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_02]: You were had some really bad draft ads by the way.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was just home.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_02]: I used to be a Brown fan, and I looked at my closet and there were some other one year when they had the slogans on them, and they were like, some teams, I think didn't have real slogans to put on them, so they just like, because you're for like, you know, not like, what is Houston?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what was the most powerful one?
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you look that up.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just finish my point.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: If you're Fernando Mendoza or if you're his agent, do you just in case have like a Giants hat or like a Titans hat or like something, I guess the Giants and Titans don't equal to like a Jets hat?
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: Do you just have one in the house?
- 25:19[SPEAKER_02]: Just in case.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's like a question for another day.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: I do think like, and I can't find it.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they scrub them from the internet.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so yeah, the Panthers.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: The Panthers was two states, one team.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: That was a good one.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: It really gets you going, you know?
- 25:37[SPEAKER_02]: Anytime that you can almost sound like a just like one of the most disgusting internet videos of all time, you should take that chance and run with it if you're Carolina.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: We are to answer your questions.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: We are Texans.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: What is the IQston one?
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: The dolphins just want with GoFans, which the bills were believed.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Two states, one team is like a really good one.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: Two states, one team is really strong for the Vikings.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm rolling through them.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: Do your job for the Patriots?
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that age well.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: More psych America's team, okay, you know, but there were a lot of them that were, I'd say left something to be desired.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember like all the people on NFL now, we're having to pretend that they were really cool.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: Which was fun too.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: Do you remember that?
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, yeah, I've been having to pretend a lot of things were cool when I work there.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: Um, let's, let's, let's, all right, let's move, uh, so we need to go, which is, uh, the number two pick.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I think this is fascinating, Albert, because you can turn this into whatever you want.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_02]: David Bailey, I think, is is in a lot of people's minds being kind of shoved down the board because he doesn't have the ceiling of our Valorese, but,
- 26:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, David Bailey also had like what if the best past rushing seasons for a defensive end in like recent call.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: His analytics are cool, right?
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: All the answers.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sure.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I would have flipped the argument and then I'm going to just kick it to you because I've seen a lot of Jets fans say, well, our vote resized a higher ceiling.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_02]: Why are we taking David Bailey to win now just so air and Glenn can save his job?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: I almost disagree with that because I think you're taking David Bailey because he can fit in whatever you end up doing post-airing Glenn, you know?
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: Right, here's my thing too, right?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think we'd be naive to think that the job security doesn't creep into people's heads in these.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, it would for anybody in those positions, right?
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: So we don't need to, we don't need to re-let it get that, but
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I do think that there is an element of you got to provide hope for your players and like I think a lot of people look at this stuff and think like, Oh, well, you know, you can just tank for a year and it's not a prop like with an NFL team it is, you know, like because at some point and Aaron Glenn knows this because he was in Detroit and if you look at like the seasons they had before they broke through in the first two years.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like the first year I think they were like oh and 10 and they won like three of their last six I think they finished three three and one or something like that which is a modest Optic but right like really like I think showed them hey here's some proof of constant right and then the second year It's like they started.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think one and six and wound up nine and eight right like so they had a really and then they were often running
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: Last year, the Jets finished the season on a five game losing streak, which was punctuated by a blowout loss for the bills backups, right?
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: We 18 and then they fired 12 assistant coaches, and I think probably had a real discussion about whether Glenn should have gone up, and I think Aaron Glenn did a really good job of keeping the players on board, but I don't care who you are.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's got an expiration date at some point.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: And so, like if you're airing Glenn, you got to be looking at what can we do to make the team more competitive this year, even if it does end in a three and 14 or four and 13 season, right?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: What can we do to show the players that there is light at the end of the tunnel?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: If you have the second overall pick, going through a de facto red shirt year, that's not going to do it.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: None of those players care about your three-year plan.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right, none of them.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because they don't know if they're going to be there next year.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're going to build a foundation for something, and continue to build a foundation for something, and keep people on board, and get to use those three first-round picks next year and have a positive environment for whoever the quarterback is coming in in 2027, like you have to provide hope.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: I love Reese's a player, he is a freak athlete.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody who says he's got a really high ceiling is right.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: But like David Bailey makes sense to me because he fits in any defense.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like the way people talk about him reminds me the way they talked about Adenachinsin, right, four years ago.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Let me ask you this.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: The comp I've heard for him is actually Nick Benito.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: Is that a win if it's Nick, if it's not just gonna, we were just talking about that.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: Nick Benito was in that Trayvom Walker cave on Tito class and it's like how much cleaner were the giants of looked if they just took Benito.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and again, you're not, people had a second round rated on him.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_02]: He outplayed, he got in with a really good defense of coordinator events.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: Like a lot of these, a lot of good things happened.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_02]: to Nick.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think they need it.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: But now like what you're passing on is maybe Arvelle Reese is my to Parsons, but like you don't know that.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's like more risk involved.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think like, I think the jets need to,
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: And the jets need to play checkers, not chess here.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: 100%.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think the simplest thing is probably the right thing in this case.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: So like, and I think they will do that.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think they will take Bailey.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: So you're in Camp Bailey.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Camp Bailey, let's move to number three, which I think the draft starts here.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: You guys coming off the board.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: You think so?
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody check out Connor's Jeremiah Love's story.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think that there is a very good chance that if the Cardinals cannot get out of this pick, which the Titans and Cardinals are trying really hard to move out of those spots.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I, the more people I've talked to over the course of the last six, seven days,
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's more and more of Jeremiah love here and less RVLries.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the logic is, well, I mean, there's the...
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's the owner wanted to create some sizzles.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: So that's in the mix of everything.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: Sizzle factor.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go, baby.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's, but I also, when Michael Bidwill wants to create sizzle, it's kind of like, it's kind of like you're telling your girlfriend like, hey, we're going to Denny's for breakfast this morning.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's the one thing is, though, like I do think Monty Austin for it, like his way of doing it is to sort of do
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: The safe just take the best player when you're drafting that high and they did a what Paris Johnson and they did it with Marvin Harrison and like I just think like in this case it's you know what like if we hit a single instead of a home run with RFL Reese then that's not good when we know maybe we're hitting a triple what you're in my love
- 32:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I don't think at anyone who's standing there and saying because we have James Connor and Tyler L. Gier that we're not going to take Jeremiah love.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, no, man, you know, like right now, your best option at quarterback is a holdout Jacobi per set.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to need to run the ball this year.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the other guys also like I think the one the one criticism I would have is that it doesn't match this this like timeline wise doesn't look like a team that that should be taking a running back right because you don't have your quarterback.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_01]: does help you manage the damage on him and you can you are going to be able to at least I think get him through his rookie year in a place where he's part of a platoon and you know like Bijon was part of this right and Al Jir was with Bijon.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think they wind up getting more our beach arm because they were when he was younger, they spent more time developing him, you know.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: So I think my guess would be, it wouldn't stun me if it was Reese, but my guess is that it's gonna be love at three.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: What a nightmare for fifth.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: If they stop, if they stick, which I think that's the other thing is like, the car knows are really helping somebody jump up and boast them away because, you know, Reese is there at three.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: what a nightmare for fantasy football owners everywhere.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_02]: Trade-up candidates here, Albert.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: I, in my mock, again, not to spoil the great corner or mock, which I got to the Melchipermock, is kind of the one that people are searching for, right, leading up to the draft.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: But I think the cowboys are interesting here, because I'm a little more search history.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_02]: I think I'm going to get an alert when it comes up when it goes up.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_02]: I may be who knows.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Cowboys are an interesting trade-up candidate here, Albert, because our fellow Reese, I mean, the Cowboys need off-ball linebacker and they need edge, and our note Reese can maybe satisfy both of those in a hybrid fashion, and the Cowboys have two first round picks, and we've already kind of established the fact that like,
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: That by the time you get to 16, is anything out there, really helping my voice win out the way that Terry Jones wants to win out.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_01]: One thing that's interesting is if you look at the draft value chart 12 and 20, like the value added, the composite value of the two picks is between three and four, what the third and fourth picks are worth.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I think Dallas, I think could be one of two guys.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think it could be Reese,
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think it could be styles like because they have sniffed around on some veteran inside line backers even recently and so like that's definitely some of the view is a position of need so.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know they're going to be running the Vic Fangeo defense and so having like these these big long athletes I think is ideal and both recent styles fit into that.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_02]: Um, what other teams, uh, I have one thought here, like again, because there's not a ton of move up candidates like the ones to get out, but I think the, I think the, I have a saint.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: I, the saints have history of doing it.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's where I've heard of them kind of sniffed around on it that I don't That I think it's like more like they always sniff around is or Kansas City, Philly and the Rams.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, I think that could be more
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: Are you looking for a discount like, oh, are these picks this kind of this year?
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm going to move up.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, there's this new trend of these guys who can snipe retail situations.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: And they can get things for a penny.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: And then the managers are trying to prevent them to like some guy bought a $400 air conditioner from Depot for a penny.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_02]: And they're trying to prevent them from leaving.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of what the chiefs in the
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: The Rams are at least interesting.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think everybody has received her circle for them.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: And the name I keep hearing for them at 13 is Laman.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to really like Jordan Tyson.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think he's got, so there's some movement stuff with him that I think that they would value.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying they would go way up for him, but I could see like a short move up.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think for them, part of this is going to be, and part of they're not to get into teams outside the top 10, but I think for them a huge part of this is, okay, the Vantay Adams is 33, and Booganako is about to get really expensive if he can get his, you know, what's together.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so like you look at that, it's like we're going to need to have cheaper options around Puka.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: And so the idea of having a really a really good young receiver on a rookie contract at that because really a really a really good receiver on a rookie contract would make a ton of sense for them, not just for this year, but also going for it.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so water gun pointed at your head.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_02]: Who is trading up for the Cardinals at three?
- 37:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like what like V-team Dallas would be the same as that.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I don't know, I don't know.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like the one thing that's a little sketchy about Dallas is they don't have a two.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: So now you be talking about 12 and 20.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, there's some sort of give back as part of that.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like would they be asking for like a three back?
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: So now they have two, three's, you know?
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: So they're just moving their first down.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: there are different things that they could do, you don't like that.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I just, I, I, I wonder how much Dallas would give up to do it, you know, yeah, four to the Titans.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: To me, I mean, you can tell me if this is open and close book to me, but I think it's love of the Cardinals don't take him at three, and if the Cardinals take him at three, I think it's, I think it's, I think it's, I think it's,
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, you think Greece.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say something now.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think styles is in play for them too.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: I would say I would say right like and there's the Fred Warren contest been out there for two months now that like I do think that there's that I think Sala is really gonna like styles, right?
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think Greece
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think if you look at Mike Borganzi and Kansas City's history and where they found their linebackers and where they've invested, and how heavy it's been in premium positions.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is part of why they wanna move down, but like I look at it like,
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: All right, like Reese can help you to off-ball line back or now, you know, he could be a liability and coverage of course because he hasn't played that much.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: But in two years, you might have like a premier past rusher.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: Um, if you can keep developing them and that's a projection and you don't like to project, but, you know, I think I think it's either a love or a front-seven player and you're right.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like I say, I'd say a research style here would make sense.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_02]: Here's why the only reason that I I leaned love and this is, you know, okay, if you're not watching on YouTube, I am literally wearing a Notre Dame sweatshirt right now.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, take everything I say with a grain of salt.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I've made the points before that I do think that love adds more
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: in your blocking in your receiving that I think he's been giving credit for in this draft and I think that he helps protect Kimward almost as much as, you know, I know they need off.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's why no, you know, I would agree.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's the Zika Elliott for Dak Prascott, the Todd Gurley for Chardonnay.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_02]: But in addition to that, I think that here's another thing that we're not talking about.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: Robert Salah had,
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: Not statistically right because you can go and you can dig into the EPA and you can dig into the numbers to complicate the point that I'm going to try to make But the $40 defense even though everyone got destroyed by injuries last year was still playing insanely tough was still playing insanely hard and was still
- 40:13[SPEAKER_02]: making games, turning games over to the point where it gave an advantage to the 49ers offense, right?
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that there's probably an innate confidence in Robert Sol that like, I can line up with the Sandlock guys, and I can feel the pretty decent defense.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_02]: Now, with sunny styles be great.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but Jeremiah love.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: accomplishes a couple more things for the organization.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned the sizzle factor, right?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: Titans are moving into a new state in next year.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: You need Cam Ward to be good.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_02]: Cam Ward needs an out.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's my last time.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think that makes your line better.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I agree.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't necessarily think it has to be one way.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: Great line equals great back.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: I think that great back.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: especially great short yardage back like love.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think helps the guy that can be a creator and a guy can create more favorable down in this in situations.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: You're in second and six.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: You're in third and two.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's way better for an offensive line than being in third and long.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like so I just think he he can affect you in so many different ways.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, a bridge.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: brings us to the team now that has two picks.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: This is so much fun at five.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: And here's my take on it is this, okay?
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: So let's say some combination of Mendoza, Reese, Bailey, love.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: are off the board, right?
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: Who am I missing?
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: Who may not talk?
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: You said what you said for net is Mendoza.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Ali.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Ali's.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: Reath love.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_02]: Miles.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: Some combination for the fiber off.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: Four of those are off the board.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think if Styles is there, I think he's the pick.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: Five.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's my thought on this.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: What about you?
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so styles make sense because John Harbomb always had the like moose off a middle line backer, right?
- 41:58[SPEAKER_02]: Like in a C.J.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_02]: Mosley, you know, broke on Smith, right?
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Caleb downs make sense because they put so much
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, can you get him a tent on the safety, right?
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so they put it on the earthquake, they put it on Kyle Hamilton, Caleb Downs, primary strength, football IQ.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: Can you get him a tent?
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: I still think, I think that they, like, John Harbaw wants to help us young quarterback.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think the receivers are in play here.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: So we have a lot to do a lot out of the Jordan Tyson thing.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know who John Harball was not at that pro day in Arizona.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: John Harball was a Carnal Tates pro day.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: And the giants have done just as much work on Carnal Tates as they have as they have Jordan Tyson.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: And when you want to talk about a player who
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: I just look at like Tyson's injury history is so extensive, you know, and with tape, you're looking at a guy who's coming from a really tough program, you know what I mean?
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like this, we're just going to translate to what John Harbaugh is doing, this demanding, and he's got a winning edge of players that have succeeded in his position, you know, from, you know, J.S.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: and to Chris O'Lave to Garrett Wilson and on and on.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: And like I just, I think like Carnal Tate makes sense for them here as like a Moig neighbors may not be ready for camp.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: And we need to build something for Jackson Dart now.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: And like, you know, you remember a couple of years ago when the Bengals had that question Penaisool or Jamar Chase and they wound up taking Chase, despite having taken T-higgins at 33 the year before, and we all know how that turned out.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: I, like, I just, I'm not saying Cardinal taste.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: Jamar Chase, I don't think he is, but I think it's something to at least consider.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I like about Cardinal T2 and I'll leave it at this is, is the reason, I mean, I think he's wide receiver one for me.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason why is he is a really underrated blocker.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I think his intelligence as it relates to the totality, the scheme, I think is really underrated as well.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: Jack's running his yeah, yeah, it's route running's great, but Jackson Dart, you're building pieces around Jackson Dart that understand mobility because Jackson Dart likes to create right in the pocket.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_02]: Matt Nagy is used to calling an offense for a quarterback who likes to create in the pocket by time all that kind of stuff.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_02]: You're building that kind of offense and that's why I think tape is helpful to you in that regard, do you think you play value here and are you worried about losing a generation, not generation.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: We're about losing a proble caliber defensive player when the receivers after Tate.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm trying to say?
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good summary.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: You need to be way itself out, you know?
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, like the question is, do you see Tate alone, which some people do?
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: Some people that I've talked to, see Tate far and away number one, do you see Tite Tate and Tyson alone?
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: In that case, do you think either of them are gonna make it to 10?
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: Or do you view lemon?
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: Concepts the own Cooper, like do you view them as close or do you think there's a guy in the second round you might get Who's on that level.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: These are all questions.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think receiver depth is another thing that's going to be a fact or here for some teams where it's like Well, you can get a good one in the second round.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: We get Zachariah branch in the second round to be just fine.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so I think that that's part of the equation too.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: So it's six.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is another receiver team.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so I do this could be Tyson or Tate or Francis Maui Noa from the best offensive lineman right with the clear.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, now he knows an interesting one because he's got a back issue and we wrote about this last week.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the thing with him that I think is at least worth considering.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: My understanding is the back issue.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's a cleanup surgery that he needs, right?
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: And so you can do one or two things with him.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: You can get the surgery now, which is probably going to knock him out through like the beginning of training camp, and could affect his ability to play his rookie.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: Or you can delay it till after his rookie year, but there's the risk that it flares up,
- 46:23[SPEAKER_01]: And then you have to shut them down later, which could cost him his rookie year.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: So there's just this like a media concern with him, which is way different than Jermaud McCoy.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: But it's something that you have to look at here as far as like, okay, is this guy going to fill in a media need?
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the Browns do have some leeway and that they traded for Titus Howard and they have Duan Jones.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the other thing that I've heard about the Browns is they could take a receiver here.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know, on top of Maui Noah, I've heard her freely and proctor.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: And that seems that that will be super high to take them.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: Take one of those two guys.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're the Browns, do you take tape or Tyson here, and then move up from 24 to try to get either freely and proctor in the teens?
- 47:10[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, I think that the Browns, if
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: If we could probably peg a team that's going to move in some way shape or form in the first round, like if you're on your betting service of choice and you're trying to say like I know this team is going to trade at some point in the first round, I think the Browns are probably as sure fires you're going to get in terms of a team that's going to move.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: Seven to commanders, I mean, I think to me are in a really good spot.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: You have best player in terms of, I think if there's a David Blau scheme fit receiver, you probably have to do it.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_02]: So, for example, the reason I brought up, they've done a lot of work on the receivers.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think they'll take it all.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think they like tape, by the way.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, I think that's their default.
- 48:00[UNKNOWN]: If
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think if love is gone, which we're assuming he will be, if styles is gone, then you receive a break.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're talking about the receivers or downs here, but I think like my guess would be love or styles would be their preference.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: Love is always the preference.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_02]: Um, no, I think that the, um, I, I, I think of conquerors all love conquerors all there's good.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_02]: I need him to get drafted by a New York team, uh, you know, I guess it would be the giants.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the jets aren't going to take them to I would hope not.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but, you know, I, the giants taken him and then you got like love New York Post back page out and there's a lot of possibilities there.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: But I agree.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think that, you know, the commanders need a lot of help.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason that brought up Tates blocking before is like David Blouse is going to be running a lot of under center stuff.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to be running a Lions type offense.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: McCy Lee is smart receivers.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: You do.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm on Ross ain't brown is.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm just right.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_02]: So to me, that's Tater or Mackay lemon.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's my thought, right?
- 49:05[SPEAKER_02]: And lemon's getting a lot of buzzes in a monrosseame brown type wide receiver.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think seven's probably a little too rich for him, especially if styles.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: There's why they're trying to trade down.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: They're also one of these teams.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think they only have six picks.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: And if I remember right, it's like,
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: their third pick is in the fourth round, I think.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they have a first or another third pick is in the fifth round.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: They have, I don't think they have a second, I don't think they have a fourth, if I remember right.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: So they're really low.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_02]: So let me have eight, nine, 10 here.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_02]: And we have the saints, the chiefs, and we have the giants again.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think that we can kind of take this out of order and say, if you're the giants, if you got your receiver at five and maybe downs, I think it probably goes like this.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: This is my thought.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_02]: Receiver, if you're doing receiver at five, then you're doing downs or best offensive linemen at 10.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I love for them?
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: Who?
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: The Penn State Guard.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: big eye on it.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think it's a little bit of a back thing too, but like he's the one who like when you hear about him is like big bullying gap scheme, you know, next to Daniel Falele and nobody's effin with you at the goal line.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's a Tyler, but he like the the comp I heard was Tyler booker.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and Tyler bookers badass.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: So like the idea like he could plug that into a Greg Roman offense makes sense to me, you know,
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so I think if we go backwards there, I think like then the chiefs, the chiefs are going to do the Baltimore thing, which is we like Tate and Tyson, we like City, we like Bane, we like Delayan, let's see who falls to us.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they got three of the top 40, let's see who falls to us.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: We'll take the best guy.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think they know it's rare that they're going to be picking
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the floor for tape.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's not tape.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think this could be where delaying goes.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: Me too.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I have a month.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think delaying has gotten pushed way up now because of the situation which we can dive into this now.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's your mod, I feel terrible for the kid.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_01]: Tours ACL last January and like has had, I think what amounts to what they don't do micro-frax or any more, but he had a surgery that amounts to that.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: whether or not he's going to be sustainable.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: Feels great right now, like he feels really good.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's ready to roll, he had an awesome pro day.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_01]: And there are teams that feel like he is the most talented corner in the draft, like a sticky man cover corner.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 51:53[SPEAKER_01]: But this is Will Johnson from last year.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: This is how long is he going to last?
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: And are you comfortable taking a guy who is a one contract guy?
- 52:02[SPEAKER_01]: And he's got Jerry Jones written all over.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I have to say, I think that's a good, but that's a thing.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_01]: So like delaying, I think it's pushed way up now.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's like, then, how do you view Colton Hood?
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: How do you view avionctorelle?
- 52:15[SPEAKER_01]: How do you view Chris Johnson?
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like those guys that are at the next level down, like a brand in Cisay, like, how do you view those guys
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: versus delaying.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think delaying is the clear number one and now like the absence of having McCoy is the one A1B there, which I think more teams like delaying than McCoy, but it was close.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: So the absence of the one A1B there, I think even increases delaying's value a little bit more.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: And if you go back to Brandon Staley's history.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he's the Saints defense coordinator, where did it all fall apart for him in LA?
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: It was a rash of cornerback injuries, a completely destroyed that secondary.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_02]: And since defense was actually really good last year, I mean, they were a top 12 team against the past despite not having a lot of options.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that if you,
- 53:05[SPEAKER_02]: kind of locked down that other side.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think you're doing a lot for, for Staley.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I think you're doing a lot more for that defense because they do need help everywhere.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's what Bane, why Bane is being mocked to the Saints a lot too.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: But I think if you're Staley, it's like, wouldn't you rather than just be in a fit?
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I just think so either.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, now he is, he's rugged and he's tough.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_01]: And there's no question about that, right?
- 53:28[SPEAKER_01]: But like the length thing,
- 53:30[SPEAKER_01]: The length thing is going to be a bigger problem for some teams and others.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's clear, right?
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, this stuff shows up, like, and so, you know, and...
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the way people want to look at this.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, I'm sorry to cut you off.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, but this is about how much you're putting a guy in the field, right?
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody gets all excited if a guy has 12 sacks, and you should be, right?
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's exciting, when a guy has 12 of 15 sacks.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: What this is about is not about, like, on 3rd and 12, can a guy put his hand on the ground and run after the pastor.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_01]: This is about, can you play the guy in first and second down the defense?
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: And what are you asking those guys to do in the defense?
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: And if you are making an exception for him, how much are you changing the structure of your defense to accommodate him?
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: And is the production in a passing game worth doing that for or you better off just playing in 40% of the snaps right you know what I mean it's like the Hassan Reddick thing like Hassan Reddick might be an 80% playtime guy for some defense and other defense he's like a 35% playtime guy that's the argument with that that's the argument you're working through a thing.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's how much are you going to be able to put them on the field.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to be that guy, but I'm just, I'm making this point because everyone's his arm length, arm length, okay, I'm done, I'm tired hearing about this.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_02]: Look at Will Campbell, like, and I know it's tackled and it's different, but there are coaches who have arm length standards for a reason, right?
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: And this stuff shows up in massive situations.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_02]: It just does, like, it matters.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, Will Campbell's a great example because he was mostly fine through the regular season.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he was one of the best young linemen in football for when he's satisfied when he got the playoffs.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden now, he's against Cleo Mac and the first round.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, a doff AOA who's this big long, you know, like in the second round, it's Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_01]: And the third round is Benito and Cooper.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: And then in the super bowl, you know, and this is why this is happening.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like he faced, I mean, like going as Derek Hall, who's not a superstar, but has those trades, it was an issue for him, you know?
- 55:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so like that's sort of what you're talking about.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's like how comfortable you with having those matchups,
- 55:54[SPEAKER_01]: There are going to be matchups that aren't going to work for him.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's the other part of it, which I think is really interesting.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_02]: There's no doubt.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to put a bow on it by saying this and then we'll get everybody out of here.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: I, you know,
- 56:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm again, I want to reiterate my excitement of the joints having the fifth and the tenth pick because I think that there is a world where it is the most ravens-esque draft ever.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_02]: And what I say about that is like remember the Kyle Hamilton Tyler Linder bomb draft where they went back to back on players at non-premium positions and then ended up having like one of the best classes
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: of like the last 25 years, what if you ended up with sunny styles and Caleb Downs and everyone's like, oh, positional value, but like these guys play 15 years for the Giants, you know what I mean?
- 56:37[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I think that again.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think that wraps it up nicely by saying like this is going to be your draft.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why I would be holder draft.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's an I would be holder draft.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be weird draft.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it's necessarily like this draft that changes the the tenor and the texture of the league, but what it does do is I think one or two teams that can play this smart and they can just understand that you throw positional value out the window here.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think you're going to come out with a great player.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_02]: Read Albert Brears.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_02]: What I'm hearing on Si.com now when this episode comes out, my mock comes out on Tuesday.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: Albert's comes out on Wednesday.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: Wednesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure Wednesday or Thursday.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think Thursday.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_01]: Just to alert the editors.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think Thursday is better and another thing.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I should have said this at the top of the show.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_02]: We are live streaming.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_02]: We are first.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know hour hour and 10 minutes of the draft.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to start about 10 minutes before five minutes before the start of the first round.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to be ahead.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: the whole night and Albert Brear is going to be tipping picks like it's Las Vegas baby airs get it's going to be stuff flying everywhere you're not going to be so if you want to be a little ahead of the idea isn't to ruin the draft the ideas have that conversation when you're looking for it when you look on social media and you see it and then like everybody on TV's pretending they don't know who the pick is yeah forget oh I'm hearing is this guy when the guy was actually picked five minutes ago we're having that conversation.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna be rolling on YouTube, find us.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_02]: Sports Illustrated YouTube channel, MMQB, we're gonna be live streaming for that first hour.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_02]: I might even talk a little red carpet.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'll get into the fashion a little bit.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_02]: Some of these guys really show up, looking good and ready to go.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you for listening.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_02]: As always, check out SI.com.
