- 0:06Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling. Well, hello, darlings,
- 0:22welcome back. Today is a fun day. It's a Tuesday. And
- 0:26Emily Dresis is here. What's up? Gal? Hi? Go Hey?
- 0:32Galte doing Gal? How you doing? Gal? Hello? Gal? I'm
- 0:38doing well. Gal. Listen. I you know, one of the things
- 0:41I just love about my Emily Gal is that you are such a TCM fan,
- 0:45like you love an old movie and your mom's in town, so you've
- 0:50probably been burning through it. Well I haven't. I've been. I'd be
- 0:53wear cake. I've been busy, I have really, you know. But
- 0:56no, but she h, she and I have not had a chance to
- 0:59sit down and watch any old old movies, but we will, okay,
- 1:03And but yes, it just reminds me. You know, I don't really
- 1:06have many friends in my generation who really enjoy that. But I know we
- 1:12have a lot of darlings that love a TCM, you know, But like
- 1:15in my inner circle, I don't have people who like actively watch Turner Classic
- 1:21like you and I. That's right, That's right. And I will say,
- 1:26I know I've dropped her name on here before. I hate to be
- 1:30a name dropper. But speaking of old Classics. Did you hear the Clara
- 1:36Bow song on Taylor Swift's album, which I thought that song was very good.
- 1:42I haven't listened to it yet, okay, but I have listened to
- 1:47a lot of her album, but I did know. I read a lot
- 1:49about I should say a little bit about that song being on her album and
- 1:57Clara Bow's family to it. Yeah, if you want to read a great
- 2:02book, Darlings, I highly recommend Running Wild the Clara Bow Story. I
- 2:09am completely spacing on the author's name and I can't see it from here.
- 2:14It's on my bookshelf. But okay, oh my gosh, he wrote this
- 2:17book a while ago. It's great. Jackie Nassis was the editor. Oh
- 2:23gosh, how cool. Yes, I honestly had no idea what a tumultuous
- 2:30life that she had until you know, Taylor did this song and then I
- 2:35was reading up on Clara Bow. I just didn't realize. And so I'm
- 2:39really interested in that book, really, and I love that her family that
- 2:45they spoke to her doing this song and they were like, we had no
- 2:47idea she was going to do it, and we're just so delighted, and
- 2:50they're just so supportive and what a legacy, what a story wild? What
- 2:57else is I gonna say? You know another thing? I know we're doing
- 2:59a little swifty turn here. But her latest album, obviously The Tortured Poets
- 3:07Department, uh anthology. Now, you know a lot of people once you've
- 3:13seen the Fortnite video, you see that Ethan Hawk is in it. You
- 3:19know, yeah, he's like one of the scientists. Well, I did
- 3:23not. I went through a whole wormhole last night on TikTok, and I
- 3:25didn't know the cross pollination between the movie The Dead Poets Society and yeah that
- 3:32song. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I kind of I think I did
- 3:38know that, but I didn't realize. I knew that there was going to
- 3:42be a tie in, but I just wasn't sure where it was. So
- 3:45that's that's cool. Yeah, and I will Williams Common yes, already had
- 3:52them. Well you know that. I can't, you know, think of
- 3:54it differently. But that was such an epic movie for our generation. And
- 3:59I love that movie. It's so many ties into that video, and you
- 4:01know, the gen xers are really claiming that song as their own, like
- 4:08Taylor wrote this for us and this is all you know, And I'm like
- 4:11let's not go too far, you know what I'm saying. Also another song
- 4:19and Scody, Yes Erica wrote this, you know about the Dead Poet Society,
- 4:26so she was there first. Let's not forget where it began anyway.
- 4:33I don't know why, Dina. I'll begin in Pasadena and it all ends
- 4:39in a snowy afternoon in Pasadena. But yeah, my folks are in town.
- 4:46Boy they just had a great time. Brett took him to Walmart,
- 4:47and boy did they have fun. Just get one of those. Well,
- 4:56listen, this one's two minutes away and it's not that busy, and I
- 5:00mean like they have So I don't know if this is if anyone familiar with
- 5:03this with Walmart has like two hours in the morning where they don't have any
- 5:10announcements or music. It's for people who are like extra sensitive or sensory,
- 5:17you know, affected, or people who just don't want to bother with the
- 5:21noise. Okay, A hand to god. I didn't know that there were
- 5:27ever announcements in Walmart or music. So what is that I mean to get
- 5:30I hearing? Chet? Well, think about when you go to a grocery
- 5:33store or any kind of any kind of do they still do those Do they
- 5:39still do announcements on the loudspeaker at grocery stores Phillis, I need a price
- 5:43check on nutrigena, Phillis. Yeah, they always call fill I guess you
- 5:48know what I mean, like, yeah, you know there's there's still that
- 5:54I think, So there's no announcements. I mean it's it's dead silent and
- 5:57I have been and it is a freaking delight. Maybe that's why I like
- 6:01going at that time of the day and didn't even realize it, Like a
- 6:05weekday early is like a dream. Yes, that's what I'm saying. Okay,
- 6:11well here we are and here, here we are watch points. Maybe
- 6:15that's why I didn't know there was announcements of music. Still watching old movies
- 6:20and get into Walmart at eight am. It's expensive to be at You know
- 6:29what I'm saying, you guys, I do. We are talking below deck
- 6:36today and just so you guys know, tomorrow on over on the Patreon please
- 6:44subscribe patreon dot com slash drama Darling and we are going to be recapping vander
- 6:49Pump Rules, Emily, Deanna and I. Plus we'll be covering the first
- 6:56three episodes of Bethany Frankel's podcast Be Divorced, because and I don't know how
- 7:04many more episodes there's gonna be. Right now, there's like an intro,
- 7:09then there's two parts and it's literally called be Divorced. So obviously this is
- 7:16She even says in her intro She's like, I don't know how many like
- 7:20parts it's gonna be. Could be like four, I could be like eighty
- 7:23eight hundred, Like I don't I'm like, I'm not gonna stop go like
- 7:26I'm gonna keep like I have a lot to say, like if anyone knows
- 7:29it's about to divorce, like I know about like and I've been through it,
- 7:30like I don't want it, like it's I was put on this earth,
- 7:32like it is my purpose to like help you and and and and and
- 7:39Garden Variety Divorced. No, somebody pointed out to me it was really funny.
- 7:44Uh So a listener pointed out there, like yeah, I just listen
- 7:48the amount of times she says Garden Variety is like really unbelievable, you know.
- 7:53So pocket now what I will say, Now that's all I'm gonna hear
- 7:59the rest of the time, because the ride started listening, and that's all
- 8:03I'm gonna hear now, Yeah, No, I will fascinating, you know,
- 8:09fascinating, as Kelly Rippa would say, I just you know, I
- 8:15have wanted to know what has gone on with that divorce, and I think
- 8:18we all have, you know, But over the last like two years,
- 8:22people have been really fatigued and upset at Bethany for many, many reasons.
- 8:28So there aren't I don't think there's a ton of people who are going to
- 8:31make that time to listen. But and people when I had posted about it
- 8:37the other day and my stories, I was like wow, I mean just
- 8:39wow, because she's really it's her side and it is all about like what
- 8:45happened for this ten year divorce over a two year marriage, and it's really
- 8:54really wild. So I am going to talk about it a little bit tomorrow.
- 8:58Obviously I'm not gonna recap the entire thing, so go listen to it
- 9:03if you want to, but we'll be doing that over on the Patreon and
- 9:07super duper fascinating, I will say, super duper fascinating, and as many
- 9:11parts as she continues on, I will keep up on that. So yeah,
- 9:18we'll be doing that. Ye. Also, you know the bonus episode
- 9:22This week is going to be the Jinx Part two, which is it aired
- 9:24on Sunday night on HBO. If your first episode, first episode, only
- 9:30episode, first episode there, they're given it to us spread crumbs, which
- 9:33is great. You know, we can only get back off so much.
- 9:35But it's a sixth part, right, six parts, I think six episodes,
- 9:39Yeah, I think so, but they haven't all dropped yet, thank
- 9:43god. The old fashioned way. Yeah, give it to me like Turner
- 9:46classic movies. Reel to real black and white color, a week of intermission,
- 9:52an orchestral. Yeah, oh my god, that's funny. And then
- 9:58The Valley will be here on Public on Thursday, and then Summer House over
- 10:01on Patreon on Friday. So good over there. There are ad free episodes
- 10:07on patreon dot com. Slash Drama Darling, and just a hint of news
- 10:13today before we get into below Deck, Emily's irving dish. Well, you
- 10:18know, one of the things that we were just talking about Bethany, and
- 10:22as it turns out, she just lost her mother. And we've known about
- 10:28this very polarizing, tumultuous, traumatic relationship she's had with her mother for a
- 10:37very very long time, and so as it turns out. She she did
- 10:45post that she lost her mother the other day. She died from lung cancer.
- 10:52She lost her battle with lung cancer. It is a long post,
- 10:58but she does really you did read it? Okay, Yeah, I'll read
- 11:05a couple parts of it. She says, my mother has died of lung
- 11:07cancer. She was complex in pain, isolated, and had demons. She
- 11:11was the most stunning woman you've ever seen, who left her abusive home as
- 11:16quickly as I ran from mine. She was brilliant, funny, cultured and
- 11:18wise, yet suffered a lifelong eating disorder, alcoholism, abuse, smoking,
- 11:22and self destruction. Despite not being equipped to be a mother. She loved
- 11:26me, and I have beautiful memories of her. She continues to be,
- 11:31you know, hearkening back on some of her memories of her and what she
- 11:35learned from her, and she said it made her strong and tough. And
- 11:41she also said the universe gave her. She said, the universe gave me
- 11:45the most beautiful daughter, and my childhood gave me the inspiration to break the
- 11:48chain. And then she goes on to say we reconnected so my daughter could
- 11:52know and love her. She adored Brynn and they shared a love of art.
- 11:56She had one friend, so my lifelong witch was granted that she wasn't
- 12:01alone. She was selfish in life, yet selfless in death. She left
- 12:05what little she had to my daughter wished to be cremated and wanted no one
- 12:09to be notified besides me. She does say I had a six cent she
- 12:15had passed. I started to release some trauma, was dancing to the song
- 12:18I'm Alive and her favorite designer Alia dress as she was dying. Wow,
- 12:26so very very sad, so you know, and very well written. I
- 12:30thought in terms of like, I thought, it was like a nice tribute.
- 12:35It was considering you know. Yeah, she says the complexities of their
- 12:39relationship, and it is really nice to know that she was able to reconnect
- 12:43with her and that her daughter was able to reconnect with her grandmother. And
- 12:48yeah, you know, I definitely have my thoughts on Bethany, But I
- 12:52mean the fact that she was willing to do something like that for brand says
- 12:58a lot about Bethany in the end, that she wanted Brinna have that is
- 13:03really sweet. At the detriment of maybe Bethany's cores and boundaries, she navigated
- 13:11that as best she could because it was so important to Brent. Is the
- 13:15takeaway I got. So I thought that was really cool. Yeah, absolutely
- 13:20so. Thoughts thoughts with Bethany as she grieves her mother. In other news,
- 13:26we have this wild story. I saw it everywhere, but page six
- 13:30is reporting that Mary Cosby allegedly called Lisa Barlow's twelve year old son Henry the
- 13:41R word during a heated argument. So An insider claims the offensive remark was
- 13:46made during a crazy fight that took place between the woman the woman the women
- 13:52earlier this month, noting that Barlow's castmates, including returning stars Heather Whitney,
- 13:56Meredith, and Angie, were perturbed by Mary's part in the exchange. The
- 14:01entire cast was beyond grossed out by Mary's alleged use of the slur, the
- 14:07source explains. And then the other thing. Last night, Mary Cosby posted
- 14:16a picture of her son, and she said two sides to every story exclamation
- 14:22point. And then she posted a picture of her She she says, my
- 14:26beautiful son, and she has a picture of her son. So this is
- 14:28all very cryptic. We uh, soon we'll find out, and not exactly
- 14:35the storyline I was hoping for, not that I would ever know what to
- 14:39hope for. But this is just really not sitting nice. I have a
- 14:45feeling that that was not gonna maybe even be in the show, oh real.
- 14:50But then I then someone leaked it, so now I'll definitely be because
- 14:54it's so it would be one of those moments that we would never know what
- 14:58was said, but we would wonder, you know what I mean. It's
- 15:01like one of those things that'd be like like like off camera, like they
- 15:07would just say it didn't get filmed or something, almost like Kathy Hilton's explosion,
- 15:11Like what did she say that was legit off camera? Well, I
- 15:18mean according to I mean there were no production, there was no production.
- 15:20There was no production there, but I just ahead of time. Yeah,
- 15:26this situation. Production crews sounds like they were there, and you know they
- 15:30don't they don't cover up. They're not gonna edit around that. You don't
- 15:37well, I don't think that that would be something they would edit around,
- 15:41no to protect like the show. No, Okay, they they no.
- 15:50I just feel like if there's something that over the line in terms of you
- 15:54know, the words you cannot say, the names you cannot say, I
- 16:00would just wonder if they would. But I guess they wouldn't. No,
- 16:03I mean I think I think that time has told the story. I think
- 16:07they've left worse in probably and and this back in the day. I'm just
- 16:15wondering if in the last couple of years they would Yeah. No, they
- 16:18don't protect. They don't protect, They serve. You know what I'm saying,
- 16:27serv serving disgusting storylines. Yeah, well I get Mary. They just
- 16:37will not fire Mary. They I mean, how is she even like there
- 16:44to even say anything? Did she say this from inside of a shuttle bus
- 16:47to an event that she wasn't a part of, you know, and she
- 16:49should yelled out a window, like is she actually so this is what happens
- 16:53when she actually partakes you know, Yeah, this was a team building exercise
- 17:00went well, yeah, there we go. Eh, great, right,
- 17:04I really I just listen. I know, you know, we've talked about
- 17:11one hundred times. Mary is entertaining all that. I get it. I
- 17:15don't know, I don't know the circumstance. This was something that like she
- 17:18would even be fired over. But I'm just saying, like she she's immune
- 17:23from everything. But I mean, again, I've said a hundred times,
- 17:27listen to your bitsch therapist episode on her Listen to the Bravo Dockets episode.
- 17:33I just don't get it, but here we are, and here we are,
- 17:37and maybe this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Doubt
- 17:42it, doubt it about it, doubt it? Well, listen. With

- 21:18So let's get into below deep. Let's get into it, get into
- 21:22blot deeck. My favorite part, Emily was when Fraser was just gosh,
- 21:29he's just squealing on everyone on that ship. You know, I mean,
- 21:32I'm afraid to tell on me. Well, you know, that's just it.
- 21:37He's on a constant mission to get the entire boat fired. That's what
- 21:41it feels like at this point. I'm a little I'm concerned. Yeah,
- 21:45and I don't know if he's being produced that way, but there's part of
- 21:48me that's like, I think this is Fraser, Like I think he's just
- 21:52pissed. Yeah, and I he does it in the best. He doesn't
- 21:57annoy me, others have I'm fine with it. I'm just like buddy,
- 22:04right, So there's not gonna matically. I know, I don't know.
- 22:08I like his expectations, but they are not realistic. That doesn't mean that
- 22:15the chef leaving was not the right decision, which we can peel into,
- 22:19but it seems like because like you know, and I want to say that
- 22:26we kind of left off two episodes, so not this past week but the
- 22:30week before with Barbie. Yeah, like he he goes up to the Captain
- 22:37and he's like, insabultination is a fiable fence. It's like, this is
- 22:41so intense, Like you're making it so intense. I just really don't see
- 22:45it that way. And what do you think? She's doing her job well
- 22:48and you're gonna now put her on the chopping block with with who who is
- 22:52left? And Captain being like he's like, I'm not disregotting well you're sighing,
- 23:00but it's not being a leader. And I was like, oh,
- 23:03captain has taken a page right out of Sandy's book, you know, exactly
- 23:07like Sandy would say the same thing, like be a leader. Yeah.
- 23:11I mean I got to give it to Captain Carrey for not ripping Fraser new
- 23:15ass, because he's got to be like, dude, you are up here
- 23:18every day trying to fire somebody, right, and like, I don't know
- 23:25what you know, it was hard enough to replace Kat and now and that
- 23:30was on Kat that she wanted to leave. But like right, Fraser was
- 23:33just about to be like, she's not accepting my therapy and she hasn't changed,
- 23:42right, Yeah, he the captain, you are yes, you have
- 23:48showed us yourself you have phone. Yeah, So I feel like Carrie's job.
- 23:55Sorry, Carrie is doing a great job to check Fraser. You know,
- 23:59I think he's the forest of the trees as like he is saying,
- 24:03I get what you're saying, but I'm a disforgotting what you're saying. But
- 24:07it's not being leader, So move your motion, I mean, And that's
- 24:14really what it comes down to is that Fraser is taking it personal, you
- 24:18know, so personal. And we talked about this like that it's not even
- 24:25that Barbie is not giving him something, it's that she's she I think,
- 24:30is acting like as appropriate as you can once you've like given She extended the
- 24:36appropriate amount of olive branch throughout the season to Fraser, and every time he
- 24:41like smacks it away yes and yeah. Meanwhile, like different people hit yes,
- 24:51you know, yes and and and they were a stow down. So
- 24:56I'm just kind of like, come on, Fraser, like accept that so
- 25:00we can move on. Because every time he didn't accept it, then she
- 25:03went further in, Like she just went further down. And I'm not saying
- 25:07Barbie's perfect, but like you're gonna have your your bitchy crew, Like,
- 25:14that's part of being a stew. You're gonna bitch about your job. It's
- 25:18kind of a shit job, especially when you're picking up the slack for other
- 25:21stews that couldn't do it. And then the people are leaving. So he
- 25:26was getting overwhelmed, and I think he's gonna learn a lot from the season.
- 25:30I hope that he does, because we can't continue on like this,
- 25:33we can't keep you know, bringing going up to the wheelhouse and talking to
- 25:37Captain carry about who the next person is that's being insubordinate. Well, he
- 25:41came into this season like not ever again, will I let the ship run
- 25:47over me? And now right right, it's like he went so hard the
- 25:52other way that it's like, you know, he'll figure it out. We'll
- 25:57see, okay. So he then he talked. So Captain ends up talking
- 26:03to Fraser and he's like, remove your emotion. And then Captain's like,
- 26:07Bobby, remove the emotions from the Bobby looking on the Bobby with the emotions
- 26:12Bobby. And then Fraser and Bobby talk and then she kind of has She's
- 26:19like, I know, I'm a nightmare, you know, and then they
- 26:22kind of have a reset and I think that. Yeah, I agree.
- 26:25I was like, you're not a nightmare, but I appreciate you saying like
- 26:27you can be bitchy and you can be difficult. And maybe there's parts that
- 26:32we didn't see, but I like that she took ownership on some level to
- 26:37just kind of get started with Fraser. And he didn't seem to be like,
- 26:41yeah, you know, I can be a nightmare too. You know,
- 26:45he wasn't at all. This is now the tenth time Barbie has groveled
- 26:49to him, and he has not shown his hand once. Right, He's
- 26:53like, yeah, I know you are the worst. You need to work
- 26:56on it. Not having it, I would not do well. I would
- 27:03not do as well as Barbie in that situation. I don't think so.
- 27:07I don't think so either. So and then we did. I'm not I
- 27:11don't know if we've actually officially talked about how Ben appointed Sonny the lead deckhand.
- 27:15Not yet. Okay, so that was where that happened. Yeah,
- 27:19that happened in this episode two years es ago. Yeah, right, we
- 27:26talked about it. Yeah, it was going to happen maybe, and we
- 27:29were nervous because of the blurred lines that she might not get it. Or
- 27:34if she did get it, it might be interpreted a certain way, and
- 27:40it was, and Dylan's just being a whiny little bitch and he is just
- 27:45like, oh, yeah, you know, if I had a vagina,
- 27:48I would, you know, not be in this situation where I didn't get
- 27:52it. And I'm like, you are a piece of work. He's complaining
- 27:56to everybody and just side by are because we'll get to how they ended up
- 28:03working that out. But Paris and those towel swans, bravo, you know,
- 28:10we have not seen anything like that in I mean time swans like take
- 28:17me back to Kate Chastain's rocket ship, you know, sculptures, you know,
- 28:23but we've not seen any towel art. And I really want to say,
- 28:30I need to acknowledge that, so dj Airhorn for that way to go
- 28:33to Paris. Other than that, I don't know who she is in an
- 28:36over story and I don't need to know. And that's fine. Oh I
- 28:37like Paris, That's fine. I just I'm you know, but yeah,
- 28:42she's got I like her a lot in terms of like I was relieved that
- 28:48she came in and could groove right away and take some pressure off like further,
- 28:55Yes, and Barbie Paris. I saw those swans and they're just not
- 29:03the right breed. You know, those are not the swans that we would
- 29:07find here in Granada. So I'm going to talk to Captain. Captain,
- 29:12she's really disappointing me in subordination for her swan art. I'm not disregarding the
- 29:21swans, and I think you're overthinking it. Yeah, well I liked them
- 29:30as well. Good good, Yeah, all right, So we got a
- 29:34new we have a new crop of guests, and we are off to the
- 29:38races with the chef is messing up. He already messes up with the seafood.
- 29:47The captain, he's been off since Jill's cruise. I feel like he's
- 29:52been off back to Jill well, I mean scary, oh no, with
- 30:03the sushi mix up and then the weird demands in times for dinner, Like
- 30:07I feel like he never got his footing back. And now we're in this
- 30:12other charter and they they're paying the price of Jill. This is the aftermath
- 30:21of the yeah of the tsunami, because something happened, like Anthony snapped.
- 30:27He's off, like he's crying, he's like reflecting on childhood trauma that and
- 30:33it goes back to Jill Jill will do that, you know what. It
- 30:37goes back to that fucking teacher that said to him, you're you'll always be
- 30:41a loser. I'm a teacher him. I mean, like, I that
- 30:48is very sad, and I'm sure that it happened, but I think there's
- 30:51something else going on with Anthony where he's just like I feel like he's depressed.
- 30:56Yeah, yeah, like I I don't think. I feel like now
- 31:02the floodgates are open in his brain for all these horrible memories to come crashing
- 31:07down and burden, and he's not out of it because he's always on the
- 31:11brink of tears. I feel really bad for him. I feel awful.
- 31:15I like this was very emotional to watch, and I think I really,
- 31:21really really wish he wouldn't have gone. And I understand why Captain Carrey.
- 31:26I love the way that he let him go and he was just like,
- 31:30you're gonna do great things. You do an amazing you know, he just
- 31:33really pumped him up and he was like, I'm siving you because it could
- 31:37have been I guess it could have gotten worse, and then we don't want
- 31:41to see it get worse. So, but I really would have liked to
- 31:45have seen him turn it around, but I don't know if he would if
- 31:48he wasn't paying. He was missing a lot of things and and so,
- 31:53like you said, something messed him up, and we don't know if that
- 31:57was the Jill charter or not, but he couldn't get back and so it
- 32:02was starting to really like things were piling up. He wasn't listening, you
- 32:07know, when Fraser said, can you not please cook on the beach?
- 32:13You know, well, yeah, to Fraser on that, I was I
- 32:17was still in a mood like Fraser like maybe that is the way he needs
- 32:22to do it. Back off. But then but then I was like,
- 32:23oh, no, right, you know, at first I was like,
- 32:28come on, leave him alone. But then I was also like, it's
- 32:30a good idea. Do everything you can hear and then just maybe warm it
- 32:34up on the grill there or something, because yeah, and I liked that
- 32:37Fraser finally was collaborating with the chef. And I think we've touched on this
- 32:44in the past, which is that when we've seen Kate Chastain on below deck
- 32:49before, she was so hands on with the chef, helping them plan things.
- 32:53Out really active and not necessarily active if they didn't want it, but
- 33:00helping spearhead things. So they felt, you know, very supported, and
- 33:04she would help with the execution and she'd help coming up with ideas. So
- 33:07I just felt happy that Fraser was actually kind of integrating chief stewage with the
- 33:15cheffing duties, because that's how you can have more communication, helps it all
- 33:19flow. And the fact that Anthony wasn't receptive to that is not a good
- 33:25thing. Because then they got to the beach and sure enough, it kind
- 33:30of did. It seemed to go left. It seemed like it was working
- 33:34out well, and then that mac and cheese mistakes and they were half an
- 33:39hour late. Okay, so half an hour late? What were what was
- 33:44wrong with the steaks? I that they weren't gonna that they were going to
- 33:50take so long to be ready. Fraser wanted them, Okay, we're going
- 33:52to sit down and eat right away. And in my mind I thought they
- 33:57were going to be doing more activities and like the cooking would happen to the
- 34:01side, Like even though they said they're doing this for a lunch, I
- 34:06thought, well, watching him cook it is part of the obvious. Yes,
- 34:12So but I guess I didn't get that there was time issues going on
- 34:19beyond just the you know, they were late. Basically they were half hour
- 34:23late. Yeah, the meal didn't look bad, but then the mac and
- 34:30cheese was mac and cheese looked awesome on the boat when he was making it.
- 34:35Yeah, in the saucepan. I was like, oh that is interesting.
- 34:39Cool. Yeah right, And I'm totally like if I was there,
- 34:44if I was out there, I would be like, this is so cool.
- 34:46Like they were not having it. Well, the primary wasnt fooled,
- 34:52and I would have been fooled because she was like, it just looks like
- 34:58he cut off regular side, just breaking noodles. It's so brilliant. I
- 35:06was like, this Primary is an intuitive she can see all like she's like
- 35:12all showing. Meanwhile, I'm like, wow, I need this recipe.
- 35:20I was so impressive. I was like, Wow, she is traveled.
- 35:23She is a world traveler. You cannot get anything by her. It was
- 35:29kind of epic and like, but the other guest was like, wow,
- 35:34I've never had like mac and cheese with this like this, like this kind
- 35:37of noodle. I'm like, it seems like it's just Alfredo without the chickens.
- 35:43You know, it's just yes. Also I didn't like that it was
- 35:46like was it in just these black plastic things, like it looked like those
- 35:51baby skillets, like a little baby skillet. Okay, yeah, which I
- 35:54like that present In fact, I would like that, like hospital food so
- 36:00small and because like those little baby skillets are so cute. Literally, I
- 36:05couldn't believe I saw it because I thought, oh my gosh, when we
- 36:07were at the Cowboy festival this weekend in Santa Clarita, my parents and parents
- 36:12are in town. Oh yeah, they were at a Cowboy festival. Yeah,
- 36:16yeah, I was so well I didn't hear it in serving dish,
- 36:21so to deal with it, well, I talked about on the Patreon yesterday.
- 36:25But yeah, I was at a Cowboy festival. I have a child,
- 36:30and it was fun for a while until we needed to leave. But
- 36:37like anyway, no, so we we left there. We walked over into
- 36:43Santa Clarita, like downtown New Hall. We went to this barbecue place and
- 36:46Maddie got the mac and cheese and fries and they had it was served in
- 36:51a little skillet and it was really good, but it was like not it
- 36:55was was it too hot for her to handle this. Oh my god,
- 36:59it was hot. No, it was totally fine. It was fine.
- 37:00Okay, it was the kid's meal and they just this presentation but it was
- 37:06not the longer spaghetti noodles. So I was like, I love this presentation,
- 37:09you know. Yeah, but it also kind of looked like serving turf
- 37:13kid's meal as well. After seeing that the other day, I'm like,
- 37:15is this kid's meals? But Captain you know at this point, well even
- 37:22before, he was like, he keeps making mistikes and gonna have to make
- 37:25a change, so this is just like not going on. Well, yeah,
- 37:30I clocked, if I am clocking with a week in between episodes,
- 37:36that that woman doesn't want a caesar salad again, why are you making a
- 37:40caesar salad? She won't eat the lettuce with your chicken. I was like,
- 37:46if I'm clocking that with that much downtime, how is Anthony. I
- 37:52was so relieved when Fraser said something because I was like, I am pretty
- 37:55sure this is the same charter where that woman said she did not want this.
- 38:00Wow. I totally did not catch that, and Fraser did. He
- 38:05said, and you're giving her caesar salad again? That's my Fraser. I'm
- 38:12going up to talk to captain. Captain, I really think you should know
- 38:17that Caesar is back on. Prima doesn't want it more disregarding what you're saying
- 38:27about the Caesar, well, just tell him well and to your point,
- 38:32like Fraser should have been, because he did say right before Anthony was fired,
- 38:38I'm gonna sit down with you. We're gonna do all the menus.
- 38:43I'm we're just gonna do that from now on. We're gonna go through each
- 38:45meal and we're gonna do the menus ahead of time. Mm hmm. And
- 38:51uh. I don't know why he didn't do that after that Barbie lunch when
- 38:57everything was chaotic, Anthony said, I actually Barbie took too much responsibility for
- 39:01that mess up too with Anthony. I don't know why Fraser didn't step in.
- 39:07Maybe then because he could see Anthony was having issues organizationally. He had
- 39:15mentioned is dyslexia. It just there, the wheels are coming off and it
- 39:19wails, yeah, anchors, anchors away. You know. Well, also
- 39:27for breakfast, the primary did not want pork. It was on the preference
- 39:34sheet and he's like, eh, let's deploy, let's see it they'll get
- 39:37bacon. I'm like, find it, find it, you know, I
- 39:42mean, she it's not that much to ask. I mean, I know
- 39:45they kept focusing on the duck. Was a duck bacon or whatever? And
- 39:49I'm like, yeah, well that's a that's a hard ask. But if
- 39:52it was on your preference sheet, you specifically want a duck bacon, like,
- 39:55why don't you have it? Well, especially because we saw Anthony wave
- 40:00it off, Fraser recommended it and when they were ordering the provisions and Anthony
- 40:06said, no, oh my god, wow, Emily, you really watched
- 40:09this with a fine tooth comb that I don't remember anything from last week,
- 40:14even I have notes. Yeah, yeah, no, he there was a
- 40:17they flashed back to it really quickly. But no, no, they didn't.
- 40:22No, no, I mean I had a crazy blowed deck dream last
- 40:29night. You must take it. What is it anyway? I don't know.
- 40:36So that got it? Yeah, and he messes up the seafood.
- 40:38Yeah, it's just it's not it's not a good look. It's not a
- 40:43good look, babe. So now, oh, how about the primaries like
- 40:46having sex with the blinds open? And they were all that was? That
- 40:52was interesting? Yeah, I have a feeling they didn't realize what was up.
- 40:58Do you think that they knew that that was going to be? Like
- 41:01I would think that they would think that they could see up. You couldn't
- 41:04see it. Well, if you see people walking by and those people were
- 41:08walking by, it's true, you know what I mean. I mean,
- 41:12now you're making a point. So anyway, Uh, the guests is late
- 41:21night and they want lobster at like one in the morning, and Barbie's up
- 41:25and so is Kyle. And she's like, I, you know, I
- 41:30don't have that, but I can, like, I can try to make
- 41:32you some. And I swear she said sangle witches? Did she not say
- 41:36she did? No? I wrote it down too. I was like,
- 41:39Teresa, is that you's go Jersey? Yeah? I was like, oh,
- 41:45what is that? And then I realized it was sandwiches. I thought
- 41:49it was some combination of sang the witch. So she's like, yeah,
- 41:54She's like, can I offer you a hot sangle witch? Which is just
- 41:58like the wildest thing. I was like this. Then Kyle helps her make
- 42:02you know, some BLTs and Panini's and thank god because she would have burned
- 42:07the place down for sure. Yeah. So now we're in the morning and
- 42:14we're this is kind of like neither here, north there. But Zandy and
- 42:16Dylan are talking and she's like, talk to Ben about your issues with like
- 42:22Sonny being the lead deckhand. So they they do talk, and Dylan is
- 42:29like, yeah, I've got more experience, and Ben says, it's not
- 42:30just about experience, it's about attitude. And also, you know, she's
- 42:36well, she's been there longer than him and she knows the boat more.
- 42:38And I appreciated that Dylan finally apologizes for being offensive. I'd love for him
- 42:44to apologize to Sonny, but I don't believe he's done that yet. Oh
- 42:49you know, he kind of does. Yeah, he does when he fucking
- 42:53tries to make out with her. Oh that's right. I was like,
- 42:58well shit when I miss Oh my god, that was amazing. She was
- 43:02like, no, no, no, Balkie, we don't do that.
- 43:07Maybe me bost, but we do not do it on this boat. What
- 43:10was he thinking? I mean, even I know I'm jumping ahead, but
- 43:15yeah, if she best case scenario, that would have been the worst thing
- 43:20ever on the boat. Now Dylan and Sonny are it's a it's a triangle
- 43:27between Ben and dil like, what guy he is trying to get up in
- 43:32reality? You know what I mean? Like he was Yeah, And the
- 43:36only reason why I'm saying that is because he was sitting next to Katie Maloney
- 43:38on an episode of vander Pump Rules, which I still can't figure out.
- 43:43No, but he he's so good looking. He can open every door and
- 43:47I don't do not want to him. But I'm saying in general, like
- 43:51you can generally say yeah, no, I agree. I'm just giving you
- 43:53my opinion. Whether you asked, I'm with you, I am with you,
- 43:59And he would not be invited past the welcome Matt in terms of like
- 44:04a cool person to vibe with and hang out with, he just he doesn't
- 44:07have to personality. He's got nothing. No, even when he hugs,
- 44:12I'm like, he's just doing standing crunches. He's using this person to do
- 44:16standing crunches, like he hugs weird captains. I just I have a real
- 44:22problem with Dylan's hugs. I'm sorry, not Dylan. Is that Dylan Kyle?
- 44:25What lan a real problem? You don't even know his name. It's
- 44:31really I think it's grounds in subordination. No one can hug him without getting
- 44:37their backcracked. It's very hard on the staff, and he needs to go.
- 44:45Yeah, he's he's too much, too much, So okay, So
- 44:53then Fraser. Speaking of Fraser, after that beach picnic, he just waltzes
- 44:58right up to the captain. He's like, Captain, that beach picnic was
- 45:04an obsolute disaster. They didn't enjoy it at all, and I tried to
- 45:08tell him what to do. He didn't listen. And then finally, I
- 45:14mean, like the Captain's basically like on a A. I mean, I
- 45:16guess at this point I got no choice but to listen. I mean,
- 45:20it sounds like he's biffing it left and right. We move on to the
- 45:23premiere night, the movie night, and they're all dressed up. I loved
- 45:27this montage of them, like Sandra d Jules, Jasmine, Michael Jackson,
- 45:30King and Queen. But wow, can you imagine being Fraser and throwing the
- 45:37guests under the bus so hard? In your confessional when Sue said, yeah,
- 45:43I mean he really did throw them under the bus. But then when
- 45:45you saw what they were doing, yeah, I agree you. No,
- 45:49I totally agree, awkward completely, I completely agree with Fraser because it is
- 45:54true when he says like this is so tacky, like they don't feel important
- 45:59in life, they need to pay us to do it. Dawson thoughts speak
- 46:02volumes, and I'm like, whoa, but this is how I feel about
- 46:07all of the charter guests. Like they're all douchebags, you know that want
- 46:12to feel important. So he's definitely speaking truth. However, it's also like,
- 46:17I mean they're just trying to have a theme night. Like I was
- 46:20also like, ye, just kind of let them lose. See, I
- 46:22mean two minds on. All the guests are douchebags. I mean, they
- 46:27are paying for this luxury experience, and so when they're not getting kind of
- 46:35I guess I get where they're like, well I'm paying for this, not
- 46:38when they're being assholes. I'm saying, like that guy, did I think
- 46:43really, King, I think requested the lobster grilled cheese. I thought what
- 46:49he asked for was totally legit and with plenty of time and yeah, and
- 46:54so when it didn't happen, or like allergies are overlooked on a preference sheet,
- 47:00you know, like I kind of am like, well you're paying,
- 47:05yeah, that these things can be accommodated totally yeah, but I still want
- 47:09to call them douchebags. I mean, it's just how it is. Even
- 47:13if I take a charter, I will be a douchebag, Like, I'll
- 47:17still be categorized as that. Even if I'm on my best behavior, I'm
- 47:21still oh yeah, okay, So it's you know, I mean, we're
- 47:24just embracing what it is. But like that whole request for a dinner for
- 47:31the lobster grilled cheese was spoken ahead of time, and then when I saw
- 47:37him pre preparing those ham and cheese sandwiches, I was like, what is
- 47:42he doing? Turkey? Turkey? Oh? Because he was, because he
- 47:45correct because no pork. Oh right right, I even know the fucking preference
- 47:51sheet. I know you really do? Is that is that you? Are
- 47:57you? The primary Emily? Is that you? Yes, I'm queen?
- 48:04Is it Joe? So? And then he's like ell o wee, wee
- 48:09wee. And then and then of course like they get the wrong sandwiches.
- 48:15Yeah, it's also not you know. So then Barbie did the right thing.
- 48:19They woke him up and he seemed okay with being woken up, and
- 48:22he did it. But to not hear that was tough. I wish there
- 48:24could have been other ears on it, like Barbie or Fraser or somebody to
- 48:30you know, help implement that request if he's lost in the sauce, if
- 48:34you will, you know. But I think that had been happening again since
- 48:38Jill's charter, And because not because it's Jill so much. I'm just saying
- 48:44I clocked it for the wheels coming off that and they never got back on
- 48:49for him. So and the fact that when Captain did pull him up and
- 48:53he was like, everything's great, it was one you know, what are
- 48:57you talking about? I was like, oh, Anthony, it's pack your
- 49:01knives back. Yeah, oh my god. Okay, So the tip meeting
- 49:07was thirteen twenty six each and they're all like wah wah, and I mean,
- 49:12understandable. This is where it's like, I get it. The food
- 49:14wasn't that great and there's that. So Captain uh talks to the chef,
- 49:20he lets him go, and Anthony doesn't understand at first because he's like,
- 49:23well, then why is everybody telling me you're the most amazing chef? I
- 49:25mean, he's got so much promise, he is really good. He's just
- 49:29too scattered. How many times has he done like how many times has he
- 49:32cooked on a super yacht before. I think this was new for him.
- 49:37I think so too. Yeah, so it's a totally different skill set,
- 49:43it is. Yeah, so that's tough. And I mean he's like,
- 49:45I did the best I can. It wasn't enough. He's crying. He's
- 49:47crying. He's crying. That was rough, horrible for him. Oh,
- 49:52don't get me wrong, but I think it was the right move. It
- 49:54was the right move. I was. And then Fraser's like, what's wrong?
- 50:00Fuck up? Yes, I'm just talking to cop about you. The
- 50:07blood is on my hands, audious. So then so Barbie goes into was
- 50:17it it was Sonny's room, and like she's she brings the vacuum. Chef
- 50:24got fired. I mean that was so cool. I loved that. It
- 50:30was like just pretending like she's doing something to talk shit or to just spread
- 50:35the hot goss. You know, Study's like convulsing in the bed and Barbie's
- 50:40like, I need to move your socks. You can just get this right
- 50:44now. But it was almost like she used the vacuum for like exclamation on
- 50:50this sentence too. It was like boom, oh my god, speaking of
- 50:58vacuums. Just a little sigh bart. I have like these. I have
- 51:00a list of things for my parents to do for me when they are here,
- 51:04you know, stuff that I just can't get to, or that Brett
- 51:07won't get to. And it's just not like it's their strength, you know.
- 51:10And my dad will get on a customer service call and he'll just we'll
- 51:16go the mars. They will go a mile, they'll go the distance.
- 51:21You know. They love it how they wake up, They wake up and
- 51:23do one speakerphone customer service call a morning, yes, and it's and it's
- 51:30a pleasant experience for him, you know, I mean, he he's a
- 51:35he's not gonna be a cruel and he's just like, hey, you know
- 51:39what, Alan Phillips here, Gross Pointe, Michigan veteran listen, you know
- 51:45what I mean. Like he's just like, I got this arthritis gummies.
- 51:50And I have concern because you were selling this, because you were using Tom
- 51:55Hanks as Ai and Oprah Winfrey and Kevin from Shark Tank and this is misleading
- 52:05advertising. And I want my money back and I need to you know what
- 52:08I mean, He'll he will go the distance on any customer service call that
- 52:14and so I'm like, Dad, my Dyson vacuum, the one that you
- 52:19you know, it's the chargeable, the cordless. Okay, I've had it
- 52:24for four years. Got it off of like QBC or HSN whatever deal they
- 52:29were having. So I'm like, it's doing this weird thing. It won't
- 52:32go on the max speed at all. It's like so anyway, I get
- 52:38him on the line with it, you know, and I'm listening, and
- 52:43it was easier than he didn't even I didn't even get to hear him talk
- 52:45to anybody because it was all prompted. It was literally like if your Dyson
- 52:51is making this noise, and they have the recording and it's like show press.
- 53:00I was like, that's what it's doing. I was like this one,
- 53:02and they're like, that means that there's something up with the filter.
- 53:06I'm like, oh my god, filter right, But I check the filter
- 53:08and it's not dirty at all. And then they're like, literally, it
- 53:13may look like it's not dirty, but it is. It's like, you
- 53:16know, we'll text you the instructions on how to do this, and they
- 53:20show you the difference. They send you to a video how to clean both
- 53:24filters. My dad was all over it. He was cleaning the filters.
- 53:28He's like, oh my god, look at the dirt coming out, you
- 53:30know. And then he's like air drying it, you know. Anyway,
- 53:32put him on that task. So I'm just elated to have my dice in
- 53:37back in action. I haven't used it yet today, but I'm thrilled.
- 53:38So yes. Otherwise, if you have a handheld chargeable dice in and it's
- 53:45making that noise, just rinse out the filters. There's two filters. Okay,
- 53:50Oh that's so good to know. Crew night out, Barbie is dared
- 53:57to kiss someone, she doesn't do it. Ben and Zandy swap clothes and
- 54:01I died. That was funny, very fun Can I see something about the
- 54:06last episode real quick? About Zandy? It's just a side note. Yeah,
- 54:09and I uh that she doesn't clean the bathrooms. She doesn't wear gloves?
- 54:15What I yeah? She they? She was like, I should wear
- 54:20gloves to do this. Oh and then they don't wear they She wasn't wearing
- 54:25gloves. And then Barbie was cleaning the toilet and not wearing gloves. I'm
- 54:32done, That's all I wanted to say. It was like, this is
- 54:36that's like, but were they using a scrub a scrub brush without I love.
- 54:43Yeah, no, no, no, I'm saying like, if they
- 54:45are right, no, yeah, I look, I agree, I can't
- 54:49argue. I'm just saying, if you're wiping it with the bowl itself,
- 54:53like with paper towel or whatever, and you're not using gloves, that's that's
- 54:59tough. That's what. Yeah, that was real tough. Anyway, go
- 55:02on, Sandy and Bence wit stuck on them, Stuck on that. Like
- 55:07when I heard that Carol this maybe this is so alleged, okay, but
- 55:13there was this one person that I don't know who this was. This was
- 55:16many many years ago, and they told me that they saw Carol Radsville Radsville
- 55:22I call her in a public restroom and she came out of the restroom and
- 55:27didn't wash her hands. MM. Interesting. And I stood and stared at
- 55:35this person for like five minutes and they're like, are you okay? I
- 55:40was like, no, are you sure? Are you sure that that was
- 55:45Carol? Oh, I'm one hundred percent sure. I'm like, are you
- 55:49sure that she didn't wash her hands? Maybe she just went into the bathroom
- 55:52and like adjusted, I was trying to rationalize, and they were like,
- 55:57no, I heard a toilet flush and I was like, well, maybe
- 56:00she had hands in She could have had hand sanitizer. That's true, But
- 56:04let me tell you something. You need to show that in the public area,
- 56:08that you you know, hand sanitize in front of people before you leave,
- 56:13so that everybody knows, especially if you're a public PERSONA right. I
- 56:20agree. Some of the most disturbing information I've ever heard on housewives. I'm
- 56:24gonna I'm going to give it that we just caught an off moment on Carol.
- 56:31She could have just gone in there. Like here's the other thing,
- 56:35though, if you're touching the handle. If you go into a stall,
- 56:38you touch the handle of the stall. Maybe she got to wash her hands.
- 56:45I have a hook I use Oh, I see what you're saying,
- 56:47Like she didn't touch anything. Yeah, I have a little metal. I
- 56:51just went in there and like blew a line of coke and then like came
- 56:53out. I am a totally joke. I love Carol. This is all
- 57:02alleged. So I just felt that, like that was very strange and I've
- 57:07never been able to shake it. Ever. I can shake that easier than
- 57:10I can shake cleaning the bathrooms without gloves. Just because I would feel like
- 57:16you're serving guests. You're serving guests, you've seen it all. I would
- 57:20be so disgusted. The only deal I could make with myself in terms of,
- 57:24like, I'm going to clean this toilet, but good news, there's
- 57:27going to be a layer between me and the toilet. Good news. Yep.
- 57:36Hey, hey, talk about Barbie and Kyle hooking up. Wow?
- 57:39I like it. I love it too, But she the shame she has.
- 57:44I think that it must be that she didn't want to like embarrass her
- 57:49parents by hooking up on camera with just anybody, but that that's such a
- 57:52weird thing too, like that she overly carries her father's opinion and like her
- 58:00mom's a sex therapist and is clearly, as Barbie says, like very open
- 58:07about the whole thing, and yeah, and healthy minded about it. It's
- 58:10just interesting to see the juxtaposition between the two and Barbie really you can tell
- 58:15she really struggles with that. It's really interesting. I mean I get it
- 58:21from her perspective of you know, when I watch these shows, I think
- 58:23to myself, if I was on one of these shows, there's no way
- 58:27I would not want my parents to be watching this. How embarrassing, like
- 58:30I shouldn't be watching this. So if she means I don't want them seeing
- 58:36me climb into bed with a guy, I mean I get that, But
- 58:39it was weird how she said out loud, my father is gonna kill me.
- 58:43Is that because her choice of man like that it wasn't somebody that her
- 58:49father would approve of. Because that's what she said earlier, it sounds like,
- 58:52yes, I think she's I think she's dealing with a lot on the
- 58:57Kyle thing. And meanwhile, like, Kyle's great, and it's interesting because
- 59:00he is not the type that she would typically go for, and she just
- 59:02feels so safe she can be herself. And isn't that just the way it
- 59:07ends up being that you end up being with somebody who you don't expect would
- 59:13be the person for you. And I think that's really cool to see.
- 59:15Yeah, I hope that. Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how that
- 59:21all goes, because I don't think Kyle deserves to be looked down on either,
- 59:28right, And if that's what happens, I wouldn't want that for him.
- 59:31No, right, exactly, He's real cute. He's real cute,
- 59:36that guy. Yes, Well, listen, we are out of here.
