  Hello, everyone, and welcome back to EyeOpener Society's Wednesday night guided meditation.

  I want everyone, as always, to find your spot, your place to relax,

  wherever that may be and however that may be.

  Again, there are no rules when it comes to meditation. You don't need to be in certain positions.

  You don't have to have, you know, your special cushions and certain poses.

  No, you just find what works best for you.

  Get yourself comfortable. Get relaxed.

  And again, just picture my voice as a guide. That's all it is.

  So find that spot Get yourself comfortable Hit pause And then come back And

  You're tuning into Eye Opener Society, and this is a journey into performance.

  Not the one that happens under bright lights or in front of an audience,

  but the performance of being human.

  This meditation is for anyone who has ever stepped onto a stage,
• 1:32
  literally or metaphorically, and felt the weight of expectation,
• 1:37
  the pull between who we are and who we're asked to be.

  So again, get yourself comfortable.
• 1:46
  Start working on your breath. Just focus on it.
• 1:51
  We don't need super deep breaths. We just need to breathe normally.

  It's a normal action that we do all the time.

  But this time we focus on it and that should be the only thing we're concentrating
• 2:08
  on is your breathing and my voice.

  Just breathe a few deep breaths and relax your body.

  Imagine yourself walking down the aisle of an old, dimly lit theater.

  Where there's rows of empty seats that stretch out on both sides.

  They're silent and waiting.
• 2:36
  You can hear the faint creak of the floor beneath your steps.

  The stage ahead glows softly in gold and amber light,
• 2:46
  Take another slow breath in And as you exhale Feel your body begin to relax,

  You've been preparing for this moment your entire life Not a performance for
• 3:03
  others But a performance of truth.

  Step up onto the stage You see a single chair in the center waiting for you,
• 3:17
  As you sit, notice the air change Quiet,
• 3:23
  electric, and alive Then from the wings of your mind Someone begins to walk forward It's you,

  another version of you the performer,
• 3:40
  the one who knows how to put on the mask deliver the lines smile when it's time,
• 3:49
  but tonight right now there's no script just honesty,
• 3:58
  take a deep breath in and as you exhale let the mask begin to soften Let the

  performer step closer until you can feel their presence merge with yours.

  You are no longer pretending. You are now becoming.

  Now imagine a soft, white spotlight above you.
• 4:24
  And as it shines down, not harsh, but warm, this light is awareness.

  It illuminates every part of you, the confident, the scared,
• 4:38
  the expressive, and the hidden.

  With every inhale, feel that light grow stronger. with every exhale,
• 4:50
  let go of self-judgment.

  And then just repeat quietly to yourself, I allow myself to be seen.

  I perform not to please, but to express.

  My truth is art.

  So again, let's repeat that to ourselves As we focus on our breath I allow myself to be seen,

  I perform not to please But to express My truth is art.

  Now the scene begins to fade, the lights dim, and the theater grows silent again.

  But inside you, a quiet applause begins to rise.

  Not from the crowd, but from your own soul. You showed up.

  You revealed yourself.

  And that's the truest act of courage. Take one last deep breath in,

  And exhale any remaining tension Feel yourself grounded, real, and renewed,

  And then when you are ready I want you to open your eyes The stage is always

  there But the best performance is living truthfully Moment by moment.
