- 2:01Speaker 2: more of like a it's more of like you're trying
- 2:03Speaker 2: to flirt. It's more of like you're trying to flirt
- 2:04Speaker 2: with a million people.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Why does why does your why does why do you?
- 2:07Speaker 1: All of a sudden sound like like a soft spoken
- 2:10Speaker 1: most It's like, all of a sudden, it turns into
- 2:13Speaker 1: like a soft spoken mcgroober.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Why is he even posting macgrooper part. I don't get that.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Well, it's because the accent that Will does when he
- 2:22Speaker 1: plays mcgroober. Hey, guys, it's.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Just he just gets very like that the show's gonna
- 2:27Speaker 3: be great.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I don't know about that. I just know that the
- 2:31Speaker 3: show is going to be great, and it's gonna be
- 2:34Speaker 3: acoustic and there'll be lights and.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And then you go to the show and then you
- 2:38Speaker 1: have a great time. Man.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Yeah, we're just we're just we're just giving. We're taking
- 2:42Speaker 2: the piss out of our friend. Go see Josh Rad
- 2:44Speaker 2: and he's touring all around Europe right now.
- 2:48Speaker 1: He's in Stockholm at some point.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I know he's just posted that he's in Paris currently,
- 2:53Speaker 2: but he's just looking at Go on to his Instagram.
- 2:55Speaker 2: He's so good live and it's so fun and we
- 2:58Speaker 2: like to take the piss out of his radio slash
- 3:01Speaker 2: Instagram whisper voice. But he is a talented fellow. Is
- 3:06Speaker 2: our guests here. We have a guest for you, guys.
- 3:08Speaker 5: They are not here, but I just texted them to
- 3:11Speaker 5: I don't.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Think that our guest uses the they them pronouns uh
- 3:15Speaker 2: DJ Dannel. I was more trying to be oh, discreet.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Oh, discreet and keep it keep it a secret so
- 3:21Speaker 5: that I just don't know either or so is they them?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Is they them here? Does they them? Need a text
- 3:26Speaker 2: from me? I texted, Okay, anyway, we we have a
- 3:31Speaker 2: surprise guest from you. It's been a moment since we've
- 3:35Speaker 2: had this guest. We also have another surprise, great, great
- 3:38Speaker 2: guests for the end of the show.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm so excited we have such a show.
- 3:42Speaker 2: The episode. What did you think of the episode?
- 3:44Speaker 1: Don I laughed very hard at this episode. I laughed, Okay, episode,
- 3:48Speaker 1: did you laugh a lot?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yes?
- 3:49Speaker 6: I did.
- 3:50Speaker 2: It was a funny one. Season six is redeeming itself
- 3:53Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yeah, this episode, for sure, I'm in Manhattan, can you tell? Yes?
- 3:58Speaker 1: I can tell. I can tell by all the city
- 4:00Speaker 1: lights and the tall buildings.
- 4:02Speaker 2: And no, those aren't in my background.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I know. I was trying not to tell everybody where
- 4:07Speaker 1: exactly you were in Manhattan. But he's in his loft everyone.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I'm in New York City, which is so fun. I'm
- 4:13Speaker 2: seeing The Music Man tonight, which I'm very excited about
- 4:16Speaker 2: because The Music Man, interestingly enough, was my very very
- 4:19Speaker 2: first audition. There's a character of Winthrop and music man,
- 4:24Speaker 2: and he sings the song Gary Indiana, Gary Indiana, Gary, Indiana.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That's the town that knew me when something like that. Anyway,
- 4:32Speaker 2: I for the Community for the Community Theater, my very
- 4:36Speaker 2: first edition at like eight years old. My dad brought
- 4:39Speaker 2: me and I stood on a stage. I'd never heard
- 4:41Speaker 2: the song before. I had played it on the record
- 4:43Speaker 2: like one hundred times literally on a record player to
- 4:46Speaker 2: try and learn the song. And I got up there
- 4:50Speaker 2: and I was so nervous, and I sang the song
- 4:53Speaker 2: and I didn't get the part. My father, to his credit,
- 4:57Speaker 2: would always get the lead. He was like, he was
- 4:59Speaker 2: so to he was such a talented actor. He would
- 5:03Speaker 2: always get the lead in the play. But when he
- 5:05Speaker 2: found out that they said, Zach's not going to get
- 5:08Speaker 2: the part of Winthrop, the child lead, but he can
- 5:11Speaker 2: be in the chorus as one of the many children
- 5:13Speaker 2: because it's about children learning music. My dad said, I
- 5:17Speaker 2: won't take the lead. I'll be in the chorus with
- 5:19Speaker 2: my son. Wow. And so my dad and I bonded
- 5:23Speaker 2: as we were in the chorus together of this show.
- 5:26Speaker 2: So I have a very very special place in my
- 5:28Speaker 2: heart for the show. It stars Sutton Foster, who's one
- 5:34Speaker 2: of the most talented people on the stage. And Hugh Jackman,
- 5:39Speaker 2: who Donald knows as Wolverine.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Not only as Wolverine, but the greatest showman. I don't
- 5:44Speaker 1: know if you've ever seen met Hugh Jackman. Cox hates
- 5:48Speaker 1: you Jackman in real life, yeah, because he's jealous. But
- 5:51Speaker 1: in real life, man, Hugh Jackman is probably one of
- 5:54Speaker 1: the most talented individuals on the play it. I mean,
- 6:00Speaker 1: he can do everything from action adventure to romantic comedies
- 6:05Speaker 1: to freaking dancing on Broadway and singing on Broadway.
- 6:09Speaker 2: And he's very beloved. I don't know that he has
- 6:10Speaker 2: many haters, like, like, other than Cox, you don't hear
- 6:14Speaker 2: people like ever say like Nobody's doesn't feel like people
- 6:18Speaker 2: are really on the fence about Hugh Jackman. He's just
- 6:21Speaker 2: very well liked.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Yeah, except for like Deadpool. Like Deadpool doesn't like Hugh Jackman.
- 6:27Speaker 1: He doesn't like the because of the But that's the
- 6:30Speaker 1: character thing. It's the same thing as Cox in the
- 6:33Speaker 1: same way, I imagine John c McGinley enjoys watching Hugh
- 6:36Speaker 1: Jackman in his work. We should ask. I saw if
- 6:39Speaker 1: he ever comes on the show again.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I saw a teaser for a movie that looked so
- 6:44Speaker 2: uninteresting to me, But I think you were gonna be
- 6:46Speaker 2: excited about the movie theater. I went to the movie
- 6:48Speaker 2: theater last night and I saw a trailer for the
- 6:53Speaker 2: new Ragnarok Strange.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It looks amazing. That two looks amazing.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Marble and Marvel. Donald is gonna love this.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Marvel has two movies that I am really excited to see.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Well, you know my buddy Sam Raimy, who I was
- 7:11Speaker 2: directed by an He just directed Strange and I must.
- 7:16Speaker 1: He also directed All Out the Toby Maguire Spider Man's Man,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and it's it's great to have him back in the
- 7:22Speaker 1: Marvel universe.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Sam had this I don't know what happy. I guess
- 7:26Speaker 2: Oz didn't really work and Hollywood is so rough. You
- 7:29Speaker 2: can have you can have twenty hits, and then you
- 7:32Speaker 2: you have one giant movie that doesn't work and you
- 7:35Speaker 2: go for a little time out or something. I'm just
- 7:37Speaker 2: guessing because I don't know, or maybe Sam just was
- 7:40Speaker 2: exhausted by the system and wanted to take a break.
- 7:42Speaker 2: But I'm so happy for him that he's back. The
- 7:44Speaker 2: movie looks incredible. I mean, again, it's not my cup
- 7:47Speaker 2: of tea, but it looks incredible.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Dude, you'd like you would like the Doctor Strange universe,
- 7:52Speaker 1: you would like no interesting?
- 7:54Speaker 2: That storyline no interesting? I know you do? Like you know,
- 7:57Speaker 2: I like that that. That actress is incredible, Elizabeth Olson,
- 8:02Speaker 2: Elizabelizabeth Olsen.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Well, it takes place right after WandaVision. I know you watch,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you know.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I think there's a in the trailer indicators, a little
- 8:09Speaker 2: bit of a WandaVision tie in.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Mm hmm mm hmm. I'm really excited for that, you
- 8:14Speaker 1: know what I'm really excited for, though, Well, as long
- 8:19Speaker 1: as there's salty baby, as long as they're salty. No.
- 8:23Speaker 1: The New Thor movie looked.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah, And isn't Natalie a badass in this one?
- 8:28Speaker 1: Natalie is the all mighty paparazzi.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Picker or something where she was ripped.
- 8:35Speaker 1: She well, she's always been ripped her whole career, except
- 8:37Speaker 1: for when she was pregnant and having a baby. But
- 8:40Speaker 1: other than that, she's always.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Been training to be a Marvel star. Is my point, Dude.
- 8:44Speaker 1: She was ripped in Star Wars. She was ripped. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: mean like she's always had like a physique of an
- 8:50Speaker 1: action hero.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Daniel, do you agree that Natalie's arms look slightly bigger
- 8:55Speaker 2: than they've been in other films.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Well, she's thar, she's supposed to have bigger.
- 8:59Speaker 2: That's the point point he's trying to make. I think
- 9:02Speaker 2: she has always stopped Dick righting Daniel Daniel? Is they
- 9:09Speaker 2: them yet?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Uh? No? And do you want to or not responding?
- 9:14Speaker 2: I will give I will give a phone call. Why
- 9:15Speaker 2: don't you go offline? Okay, we can see whatever we want.
- 9:18Speaker 2: He can go off lineever we want.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Okay. So there's that, all right. Now, here's what I'm
- 9:27Speaker 1: really excited for. And I don't know when it's I
- 9:30Speaker 1: know when it's dropping, and I know a lot of
- 9:33Speaker 1: stories about it because I have people on the inside.
- 9:36Speaker 1: But that obi wan kenobi man.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yes, oh my goodness, that does look amazing.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It looks great, and I'm excited for it. It looks
- 9:44Speaker 1: like money was spent well, but well that's always important.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, your buddy, are you a fan of Hayden Christiansen?
- 9:53Speaker 2: He's I mean rumored to be back on the show.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I do like Hayden, and I.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Don't think what are the rumors if Darth Maul is
- 10:01Speaker 2: going to show up.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I hope Darth Maul shows up. There's rumors that Ahsoka
- 10:06Speaker 1: could show up. There's so many rumors. There's so many,
- 10:09Speaker 1: so many, so many rumors, none of them. I have
- 10:12Speaker 1: no I have zero.
- 10:13Speaker 2: When is it premiere and it's coming up right.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Like the twenty eighth or some shit like, Oh, you.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Got to you gotta wait a month.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Yeah, but I'm excited. I'm excited.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I wish you were coming to the theater with me tonight.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I wish I was coming with you to this.
- 10:26Speaker 2: You're always so fun. And then we go out after
- 10:28Speaker 2: and have some dranks.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, you know what, last time I had an
- 10:32Speaker 1: early call.
- 10:33Speaker 2: And I still join us for after theater.
- 10:35Speaker 1: You guys went, you, Preston and Flow went to some
- 10:38Speaker 1: like freaking party somewhere with the cast of the Moulin Rouge.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Just I don't know where you went, but you guys
- 10:45Speaker 1: went somewhere.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Because I had to.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I had to get back to Jersey because I had
- 10:49Speaker 1: an early call all pre COVID, right before COVID.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I got to go back to Miami tomorrow to work
- 10:55Speaker 2: more on my You Have a Lawrence Vince Vaughn show.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I'm doing a scene finally with Vince On on Thursday,
- 11:04Speaker 2: and I'm really excited about it because I think he's incredible.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Do you remember your introduction to Vince Vallon? Do not
- 11:11Speaker 1: as a human being like face to face, but like
- 11:14Speaker 1: do you remember your introduction? Yeah? Do you remember? Do
- 11:17Speaker 1: you remember quoting that movie and quoting.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Well, Swingers was our life because it was it was
- 11:24Speaker 2: not only the funny it was it was such an
- 11:26Speaker 2: insider Hollywood movie and it was and it was so
- 11:30Speaker 2: about our lives. It was like young actors movie.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Coming from New York, from New York coming to La.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Yeah, moved out to LA and like trying to make
- 11:39Speaker 2: it in LA and like the whole adjustment to being
- 11:43Speaker 2: an LA person and trying to struggle to become a
- 11:46Speaker 2: unknown actor. I mean it was it was such a
- 11:48Speaker 2: I mean, people loved the movie who had nothing to
- 11:50Speaker 2: do with Hollywood, but for us, it was so specifically
- 11:54Speaker 2: our our lives right completely.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I mean other than like I didn't go to the Dresden.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I didn't go, Yeah, I didn't, but we went to
- 12:01Speaker 2: other We went to other places like that, you.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, but I didn't go to that stuff. But
- 12:06Speaker 1: like completely, everybody taking their own car to the club.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You know what I mean, and.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Everyone everyone put the club on their car.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Putting the club on their car. Yeah, and then having
- 12:18Speaker 1: that one friend that's out of their mind crazy and
- 12:21Speaker 1: would pull a gun on somebody. Like it was like
- 12:23Speaker 1: it hit all of the It hit all of the
- 12:27Speaker 1: playing poker, yeah, playing poker, all of the stereotypes that
- 12:32Speaker 1: happened when you first moved to Los Angeles, and even.
- 12:35Speaker 2: The inside of jokes about like when the girl gives
- 12:38Speaker 2: his number, it's Heather Graham actually, and it's like and
- 12:40Speaker 2: they who would you get? It's like they go.
- 12:44Speaker 1: They go one eight, they go eight one eight. H
- 12:47Speaker 1: h they go one eight, he goes no, two one three,
- 12:50Speaker 1: they go no, he goes a one eight two one three,
- 12:55Speaker 1: he goes three one oh. They go, yeah, what's happening?
- 13:01Speaker 4: Man?
- 13:01Speaker 1: He doesn't do that. He doesn't do it like that anymore.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Man.
- 13:04Speaker 1: He makes Star Wars movies. Man, I think him and
- 13:06Speaker 1: Vince need to make a show.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Or I really told him. I saw Vince down there.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I got up super early to go to go to set,
- 13:16Speaker 2: and he wasn't working that day, but he was up
- 13:17Speaker 2: super early. There's a where we're staying. There's a shared
- 13:22Speaker 2: like coffee spot and I saw him and we sat
- 13:24Speaker 2: down for a second and just chatted, and I was like,
- 13:26Speaker 2: I just got to get this out of the way, Vince.
- 13:28Speaker 2: The outtakes from the movie made are one of the
- 13:29Speaker 2: funniest things I've ever seen. And he just started laughing,
- 13:34Speaker 2: and I said, the movies are great, dude, but I
- 13:36Speaker 2: think one of the hardest of her laughs is watching
- 13:38Speaker 2: Jon Favreau try not to laugh while you're riffing jokes
- 13:42Speaker 2: on per Diem And he's like, yeah, I always he Goes.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I always thought pretty much a funny thing when I
- 13:46Speaker 2: became an actor, like he Goes. I was just I
- 13:49Speaker 2: was just I just turned it into that guy.
- 13:51Speaker 1: But he Goes.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I just thought it was so weird. You get to
- 13:53Speaker 2: a location in the hands you a stack of money
- 13:55Speaker 2: and you're like, so this is this is me, but
- 13:58Speaker 2: you're paying me. You're paying me, but this this stack
- 14:02Speaker 2: of money.
- 14:02Speaker 1: For me, This is mine for you, So this is mine?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Right, all right? Donald, I think Daniel has figured out
- 14:10Speaker 2: our guests. But first count said Baby girl Boss about show.
- 14:17Speaker 2: We made about a bunch of.
- 14:24Speaker 1: The stories.
- 14:29Speaker 2: So yea, yea, all right, Daniel, bring in the guests.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I'll bring in the guests. I'm excited about this. I
- 14:43Speaker 2: don't know if it's gonna work. There's some confusion. There's
- 14:45Speaker 2: often confusion, especially when Joelle's not around.
- 14:48Speaker 1: You know, Joel, let's let's let's just keep it honest.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Joel is the queen of me and makes it and
- 14:56Speaker 1: makes it run so special.
- 14:57Speaker 2: There he is, Ladies and gentlemen, direct from his car.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Johnny c McGinley, thunderous applause. Please, Daniel, Hi, Jacky? What up, buddy?
- 15:10Speaker 4: Hid?
- 15:11Speaker 2: What's up? Brother? We you know. I guess there was
- 15:14Speaker 2: a bit of miscommunication, which happens because Donald and I
- 15:18Speaker 2: are both working and flying all around. And I understand
- 15:22Speaker 2: that you got misinformation, but we wanted to have you
- 15:26Speaker 2: on the show either way, even if you're just in
- 15:28Speaker 2: a car. We just want to talk to you because
- 15:31Speaker 2: we miss you and we love you, and we want
- 15:33Speaker 2: to talk about how ripped you looked at Easter.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, dude, what are you doing? What are
- 15:37Speaker 1: you doing? Are you in that Nugenics?
- 15:40Speaker 4: Like?
- 15:40Speaker 1: What's going on? Bro?
- 15:42Speaker 4: I was so happy to see you guys at Easter.
- 15:44Speaker 4: I can't I was buzzing off that I can't even
- 15:46Speaker 4: tell you.
- 15:47Speaker 2: But Johnny, you look like a professional weightlifter, and I
- 15:50Speaker 2: want you to be honest with the audience. They won't
- 15:52Speaker 2: tell anyone what steroids are you using? What do you recommend?
- 16:02Speaker 2: You're fucking ripped?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Dude, dude, You're looking great, man, amazing.
- 16:07Speaker 4: I was filled with so much love seeing you guys.
- 16:09Speaker 4: You think I'm bullshitting, but I'm not. My cup was
- 16:12Speaker 4: full seeing my Zachie and my deep Bizzle. I know.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Did you did you see how did you see how
- 16:21Speaker 2: excited Donald was to be around his hero Harrison Ford?
- 16:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it makes sense to me.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, you know it was missing, Judy was
- 16:33Speaker 1: missing and Sarah was missing. That was truly, That was truly.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You know, it would be nice to see Judy and
- 16:41Speaker 1: her daughter and her husband, and Sarah and her kids.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It would be great to see.
- 16:47Speaker 2: You don't know that Sarah comes down here that much
- 16:49Speaker 2: anymore to the to the United States because she shoots
- 16:52Speaker 2: her show in Van Groovy and she lives in Van Groovy.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Is it on Netflix?
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you won't watch it. It's not about anyone shooting
- 17:01Speaker 2: lasers out of their ass.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I've watched Firefly Lane. What are you talking about?
- 17:07Speaker 2: Oh? What Casey makes you watch Firefly Lane. Yes, you're
- 17:12Speaker 2: a fucking liar. You're a fucking liar. There's no way
- 17:16Speaker 2: you're watching firefly Lane. Johnny. How are you? What's going
- 17:19Speaker 2: on in your life? We were talking. We were talking
- 17:21Speaker 2: about how Daniel's helping you build a secret golf cabin
- 17:25Speaker 2: golf thing.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Yeah, Daniel came out to my home and I've spent
- 17:32Speaker 4: the last couple of weeks building a foundation for a
- 17:35Speaker 4: six by a ten x sixteen shack that I'm putting
- 17:39Speaker 4: up that has enough clearance in it with no rafters
- 17:42Speaker 4: or anything like that for me to take a full
- 17:44Speaker 4: swing with a driver and have enough clearance overhead for
- 17:48Speaker 4: this to be a full on golf shack. And I've
- 17:51Speaker 4: been thinking about it for a long time and then
- 17:54Speaker 4: I pulled the trigger on it, and so I'm shoulder
- 17:56Speaker 4: deep in this. The build is on the seventeenth and
- 17:58Speaker 4: the eighteenth of May. I'm just out of my tits excited.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Wait, hold on, the build is on the seventeenth. But
- 18:05Speaker 1: you prepped before the build. Man. It's not like they're
- 18:07Speaker 1: coming in and they're gonna have nothing to I mean,
- 18:11Speaker 1: they're gonna have to do all of it. You literally
- 18:13Speaker 1: have dug a fucking what is it? Is it gonna
- 18:18Speaker 1: have a sink in it or something like that, Like
- 18:20Speaker 1: you dug all away from.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Why does a golf shack need a sink?
- 18:25Speaker 1: No, he's done. It's like he's dug a trench. First
- 18:28Speaker 1: he had to dig a trench, then he dug a hole.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Then he freaking has filled the hole.
- 18:33Speaker 2: We're doing all this yourself, Johnny, Yes, man, Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 4: I get off on it. It's like it's my thing.
- 18:38Speaker 2: That's cool. I wish I knd to do that shit.
- 18:41Speaker 4: I can't do the finished craps, but I can do
- 18:45Speaker 4: the Irish donkey stuff, like I can dig a trench,
- 18:49Speaker 4: I can build a foundation. I just can't do the
- 18:51Speaker 4: craftsman finished work.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Well, I'm very excited for you. Will Donald be invited
- 18:57Speaker 2: because Donald really likes golf and I gotta get my
- 19:01Speaker 2: swing back his dream Johnny, bag of vans.
- 19:04Speaker 1: You done lost your swing? I lost my swing?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Well. Donald vacillates between obsession with tennis and obsession with golf,
- 19:11Speaker 2: and he's currently back on tennis.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Golf not so much.
- 19:15Speaker 2: But but I think once Johnny has his his his
- 19:19Speaker 2: golf shack, I'll beat it every day.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah, But I told Donald He just made it very
- 19:24Speaker 4: clear he is he wants nothing to do with building it.
- 19:26Speaker 4: He made that a clear.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Yeah, well that was that was the I get the trick.
- 19:32Speaker 1: The trick is, I'm building a golf shack. Oh ship,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'd love to come check out what you've built. You
- 19:37Speaker 1: come down and then all of a sudden, you're fucking
- 19:39Speaker 1: knee deep in soil and fucking wood and chap.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I can't donald doing that.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Okay, had you make out in Miami?
- 19:49Speaker 2: I'm I'm in New York right now. I'm been shooting
- 19:52Speaker 2: down in Miami. I shot with Rob Delaney, who's really
- 19:58Speaker 2: talented and funny, me an actor, and I did a
- 20:02Speaker 2: scene with and I'm working with Meredith Hagner, who's just
- 20:05Speaker 2: an incredible funny comedian. And I start with Vince on Thursday.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Wow.
- 20:11Speaker 4: And so how do you how do you as an
- 20:13Speaker 4: unbelievably accomplished actor and film director, how do you approach
- 20:18Speaker 4: these things? Do you have does it not matter whether
- 20:21Speaker 4: it's a TV show or a film or play. Do
- 20:24Speaker 4: you have an approach like I approached the text the
- 20:28Speaker 4: same way no matter what. As a director, do you
- 20:30Speaker 4: have an approach that's that's metered and works for you.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Well, it's a great question, Johnny. I I try and
- 20:37Speaker 2: let every director know right away because I do both that.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Don't worry. I'm not going to try and suggest shots
- 20:46Speaker 2: because I wonder. I think it would be in the
- 20:48Speaker 2: back of my mind if I was working with an
- 20:49Speaker 2: actor director that they would be like, Oh, I hope
- 20:53Speaker 2: they're not going to come on my set and be like,
- 20:55Speaker 2: why did you put the camera there? So I I
- 20:58Speaker 2: just I'm very all the time. I don't so, you know,
- 21:04Speaker 2: I just kind of get the vibe. It's always weird
- 21:05Speaker 2: when you're coming onto a set that's that's been going
- 21:08Speaker 2: and everyone knows each other. But but I just try
- 21:13Speaker 2: and just stick to my I get try and get
- 21:15Speaker 2: to know the actors. The good news is that I
- 21:16Speaker 2: went out to dinner with both Meredith and Rob, who
- 21:20Speaker 2: I had my first scene with, and we had a
- 21:22Speaker 2: good laugh and you know, it's great. Just getting home. Vince,
- 21:26Speaker 2: who I work with tomorrow, I was really excuse me Thursday,
- 21:28Speaker 2: I was really nervous because I'm such a fan and
- 21:31Speaker 2: I was just telling these guys before he got on
- 21:32Speaker 2: and ran into him a at coffee and we just
- 21:35Speaker 2: sat down and had a great chat. And he was
- 21:37Speaker 2: super cool, and so I'm excited. You know, that's where
- 21:41Speaker 2: I get nervous. I get nervous about just walking onto
- 21:46Speaker 2: a set cold and not knowing the actors like so
- 21:48Speaker 2: many we should reference on scrubs wonderful what they call
- 21:53Speaker 2: day players. That means you're you're coming on for a
- 21:55Speaker 2: day or two to do some relatively small parts. These
- 21:59Speaker 2: people have to come in as a well oiled machine
- 22:02Speaker 2: and just just keep up. And we were so lucky
- 22:06Speaker 2: to have so many people do that. In this particular episode,
- 22:09Speaker 2: of course, we have Michael Weston.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Did Michael Weston get this gig through you, Zachi? Because
- 22:13Speaker 4: I know you guys were hows of some Yes.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I mean, I imagine Michael Weston would have gotten this gig
- 22:19Speaker 2: on his own because he's a wonderful actor. But I'm
- 22:22Speaker 2: sure that because we started out as roommates when we
- 22:26Speaker 2: got to LA.
- 22:27Speaker 1: But you guys did a movie first together, didn't you,
- 22:30Speaker 1: before you were roommates.
- 22:31Speaker 2: That's true. We met on a movie. My very first
- 22:34Speaker 2: lead role in a movie called Getting to Know You
- 22:37Speaker 2: with Heather Matarazzo, and it was a million dollar indie
- 22:41Speaker 2: We did down so in Asbury Park and That was
- 22:47Speaker 2: a great experience, one of the best experiences of my life,
- 22:49Speaker 2: because it was like my first part on a movie
- 22:52Speaker 2: on location, and I was I was so excited, and
- 22:56Speaker 2: Michael and I really bonded. And then we went to
- 23:00Speaker 2: sun Dance with that movie, and I think it got sold.
- 23:02Speaker 2: And then we decided to become roommates in LA and
- 23:08Speaker 2: so we were we lived together. And then and then
- 23:12Speaker 2: when I got Garden State up and running, I asked
- 23:15Speaker 2: him to do a funny cameos as a cop who
- 23:18Speaker 2: pulled me over? Who pulls me over? And and so
- 23:23Speaker 2: he did a funny cameo in that. And then when
- 23:25Speaker 2: Scrubs is happening, I said, oh, you gotta we gotta
- 23:27Speaker 2: find something for you to do on this. I'm sure.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I'm sure I was the I was the catalyst, although
- 23:32Speaker 2: of course he could have gotten it himself because he's
- 23:34Speaker 2: so darn good.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Right on. I didn't know that history. I knew there
- 23:38Speaker 4: was a history, but I didn't know it.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You guys have done like four or five movies together,
- 23:42Speaker 1: you and Mikey.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Michael, if you remember Wish I was here my film,
- 23:45Speaker 2: those of you who've seen it, he was the the
- 23:47Speaker 2: obnoxious guy who was harassing Kate Hudson's character at work.
- 23:51Speaker 1: You're going to see a play with someone that you
- 23:54Speaker 1: did a movie with, Mikey Weston with am I right,
- 23:56Speaker 1: a play, you said, setting Fosters in the play a
- 24:00Speaker 1: Farster Door. No, you guys did a play together. You
- 24:02Speaker 1: didn't do the movie together. Who did you do the
- 24:04Speaker 1: movie with? The real World actress?
- 24:07Speaker 2: I mean she was, Oh, just Sinda Barrett, who's incredible.
- 24:10Speaker 2: It's an insult to call her a real world actress
- 24:13Speaker 2: although she was. True, Yes, it is true. She was
- 24:16Speaker 2: a She was on and a series season of Real World,
- 24:21Speaker 2: and I remember having the biggest crush on her because
- 24:23Speaker 2: she was so pretty. And then she's one of the
- 24:27Speaker 2: rare I don't know if anybody else from the real
- 24:29Speaker 2: world is.
- 24:29Speaker 1: There are a couple of people that have that have
- 24:31Speaker 1: really that have branched off into the.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Anyway, she became a really great actress. She was my
- 24:35Speaker 2: girlfriend in Last Kiss, and.
- 24:37Speaker 1: She's fiance or something like that, right.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I don't know if we were we were pregnant. Fiance yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 2: fiance yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 1: And Mikey Weston plays one of my best friends in
- 24:49Speaker 1: that she's married to Gabriel Mockt who's a.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Really good actor. Just a little bit of trivia. All right,
- 24:55Speaker 2: let's get in the episode. Johnny will remind you, Sasha,
- 25:00Speaker 2: my character is just this. This is called my therapeutic
- 25:03Speaker 2: months everybody, So to remind you the convention of this
- 25:06Speaker 2: is it all takes place over a month. The storyline
- 25:10Speaker 2: with you, Johnny is that Donald has broken his hand
- 25:14Speaker 2: because he and I were getting into some mischief with
- 25:17Speaker 2: a ceiling fan. Donald was trying to show off how
- 25:21Speaker 2: he could put his hand in and out of the
- 25:22Speaker 2: ceiling fan without getting it touched, and then I said
- 25:26Speaker 2: faster or something.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yo. All I remember is this. I remember actually shooting this.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I remember the Obie Brown talk. I remember the I
- 25:37Speaker 1: remember I remember the ceiling fan, and I remember being
- 25:41Speaker 1: like is that? I remember that day, being like, is
- 25:43Speaker 1: that thing gonna hold me? Who directed this episode?
- 25:46Speaker 2: I want to feel like Ken Winningham.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Now Winningham directed it. That's right, because sorry to y'all,
- 25:51Speaker 1: sorry to yell. I'm working on it. I'm working on it.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I'm working on it anyway. And I remember spinning around
- 25:58Speaker 1: on that thing and being like, all right, I can
- 26:00Speaker 1: speed it up a little bit. You can go a
- 26:02Speaker 1: little faster and at one point my legs literally are
- 26:05Speaker 1: in the air.
- 26:05Speaker 2: It's so funny. It's so funny, and and I go
- 26:12Speaker 2: he was like a beautiful brown blur.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah. So there are a lot of things that happen
- 26:18Speaker 1: in the cold Open that are like pretty iconic for scrubs. Yes,
- 26:22Speaker 1: there's the deck.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yes, Sasha, Yes, Lloyd.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Yes, we learned that Lloyd was on crack.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Well, Lloyd, we learned how to crack problem. And we
- 26:34Speaker 2: also learned that Lloyd loves speed metal.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Right, which comes back in a very funny which comes
- 26:40Speaker 1: back in a very funny way later on in the
- 26:43Speaker 1: show where he's driving you guys are on your way
- 26:45Speaker 1: to work. This shit had me rolling. First of all,
- 26:48Speaker 1: we learned that he loves speed metal. Then we learned
- 26:50Speaker 1: that JD can't can't hear himself think when speed metals on,
- 26:55Speaker 1: so he turns it down. When in the car with Lloyd.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I'm literally doing I'm literally doing one of the voiceovers,
- 27:01Speaker 2: and in the voiceover you hear the speed metal and
- 27:04Speaker 2: he's yelling over it, and I'm yelling over So I
- 27:08Speaker 2: reached over to turn down Lloyd's speed metal so that
- 27:11Speaker 2: I can hear myself think in the voiceover, and.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Then he does the voiceover and then turns the speed
- 27:17Speaker 1: metal back up, and then Lloyd, then Lloyd, then Lloyd.
- 27:21Speaker 1: This this also had me laughing. Lloyd tells j D
- 27:25Speaker 1: take the wheel. JD takes the wheel so Lloyd could
- 27:28Speaker 1: drum solo. Yeah, then he's pushes JD's hand away so
- 27:33Speaker 1: he can take the wheel again and rock out to
- 27:36Speaker 1: his to his speed metal.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Very funny, Johnny, Johnny, how funny was Mike Schwartz.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Money? He was, and he played a couple of different characters,
- 27:50Speaker 4: didn't he?
- 27:51Speaker 1: No, Lloyd, just Lloyd?
- 27:54Speaker 4: But when he's a delivery guy, is he somebody.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Else that's Lloyd's We learned to Colonel Doctor is Lloyd's
- 28:01Speaker 1: Is Lloyd's dad?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yes, Johnny, you might not have known this, but in
- 28:05Speaker 2: the last episode there's a brief moment that reveals the
- 28:09Speaker 2: while while j D is duct taped to the ceiling
- 28:12Speaker 2: in the cafeteria, he discovers that Lloyd's father is Colonel Doctor.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Those writers were on fire.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Well, this one has some really it all tracks though,
- 28:25Speaker 1: Gloria and and uh uh the Janet, I mean sorry, Gloria,
- 28:30Speaker 1: and fucking uh.
- 28:32Speaker 2: You're going totally out of order, first of all.
- 28:34Speaker 1: But I'm just talking.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I'm talking Gloria and Leonard. Thank you.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Gloria and Leonard the hooked handed security guard are having
- 28:42Speaker 1: a baby.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Played by random. Now, Gloria seems to me a little
- 28:45Speaker 2: bit beyond.
- 28:46Speaker 1: She's like in her sixties.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Dude, she's like in her sixties or seventies. I don't
- 28:50Speaker 2: I don't know you can get pregnant that late. I
- 28:52Speaker 2: mean there must. I'm sure there's examples.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I'm sure anything is possible with what we've I don't know.
- 28:57Speaker 2: How old do you think Gloria is legit?
- 28:59Speaker 1: I don't know, but young enough to be pregnant, all right?
- 29:02Speaker 2: And she would would you say it? When you would
- 29:04Speaker 2: you say? Would you say it's safe? Is it fair
- 29:06Speaker 2: to say that Gloria is a senior citizen?
- 29:08Speaker 1: Close to it? If not?
- 29:09Speaker 4: Yes, maybe Leonard. Maybe Leonard had the magic sheeed.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Leonard clearly had magic seed because it worked on her.
- 29:17Speaker 2: So she's pregnant with Leonard's.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Baby, and she's gonna have it so hard.
- 29:22Speaker 2: And she says, she says, I'm gonna have your baby
- 29:26Speaker 2: so hard. Now we also learned that Laverne. This this
- 29:35Speaker 2: is so trippy. Why is Laverne flying?
- 29:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that was weird that you have. You were having
- 29:40Speaker 1: double fans. JD's having double fantasies in this episode where
- 29:44Speaker 1: it's so do you remember that movie American Werewolf in
- 29:47Speaker 1: London where he where he dreams he has a double
- 29:51Speaker 1: dream where he wakes up in one dream many things.
- 29:53Speaker 1: It's a nightmare, and then the nightmare is still going
- 29:56Speaker 1: and it's a double dream. JD's having doubled fantasies in
- 30:00Speaker 1: this episode.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Well, all I know is we do one of those
- 30:04Speaker 2: beauty shots, Johnny where you see, oh, the beautiful girl
- 30:07Speaker 2: and she's Michael Weston's characters private dancers, physical therapist, writer
- 30:14Speaker 2: or his therapist. Yes, and she appears to have wings
- 30:20Speaker 2: behind her. You know, it's like, oh, like she's an angel.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Then the moment's over and when she walks out of frame,
- 30:27Speaker 2: Laverne is standing there with a stripper. Wait wait wait
- 30:31Speaker 2: wait wait wait no, no, don't she was a burlesque dancer.
- 30:34Speaker 2: I believe Laverne. We reveal that the wings, the wings
- 30:40Speaker 2: were from a burlesque dancer, that she left them behind
- 30:44Speaker 2: and she had syphilis. Yes, okay, now you think you're
- 30:48Speaker 2: out of the fantasy right, But then Laverne starts flapping
- 30:52Speaker 2: the wings and flies away, yes, which is later brought back.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Sorry to skip ahead when JD looks out the window
- 31:06Speaker 2: and see and sees that Laverne is still flying, but
- 31:10Speaker 2: now outside and he JD says to Laverne, kelso just
- 31:15Speaker 2: had his car washed. And she goes and she goes,
- 31:20Speaker 2: I'm on my way, meaning that she's gonna ship.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Oh god, car Now just because she's holding these wings
- 31:28Speaker 1: doesn't mean it's gonna be bird ship though, that's the thing.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Oh my god, this is the best episode I've ever
- 31:38Speaker 4: heard in my life.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I con't believe this was a funny episode. This was
- 31:41Speaker 1: a very funny episode. A lot of crazy things happened.
- 31:44Speaker 2: What season is This is season six, and uh, you
- 31:49Speaker 2: know it's been a little head or miss because Donald
- 31:51Speaker 2: and I have so far decided that season five in this,
- 31:54Speaker 2: in this exercise that we're doing, is the funniest.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I'm we should probably talk about Elliott Keith and.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Okay, so Elliott in a situation, what Daniel, We're gonna
- 32:08Speaker 2: take a brad, We're gonna take a break. Daniel's Daniel's here.
- 32:11Speaker 2: We don't have Joel to be.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Joel knows how to usually finesse situation.
- 32:16Speaker 2: And Joel will put something in the chat. We got
- 32:19Speaker 2: Daniell over there looking like he's having a seizure.
- 32:21Speaker 1: The guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys.
- 32:24Speaker 2: We're gonna take a break, and when we come back,
- 32:26Speaker 2: we're gonna talk about how Elliott and Keith appear to
- 32:29Speaker 2: have sex in a way that's very odd. They they
- 32:32Speaker 2: mutually masturbate in separate boxes. We'll be right back and
- 32:41Speaker 2: were and we're back now. I never knew this, but
- 32:45Speaker 2: Elliott has invited Keith to move in with her. Yes,
- 32:49Speaker 2: and so there's moving boxes all over the place. Yes,
- 32:53Speaker 2: And Johnny, I don't know if you remember this, but
- 32:56Speaker 2: she gets in one box and it's not spoken, but
- 33:00Speaker 2: we assumes masturbating, and he gets in another box and
- 33:04Speaker 2: we assume the same. And that's that's how they have
- 33:07Speaker 2: what's called box sex.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Huh. And and she asks him after they both climax,
- 33:17Speaker 1: were you thinking about me? And he goes, I always
- 33:21Speaker 1: think about you in the box.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Elliot is the most twisted.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, she's my cup of tea other than
- 33:33Speaker 1: the Republican shit. She's my cup of tea.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Right, you'd like that, but I don't think you'd like
- 33:38Speaker 2: box sex. You and Casey wouldn't have box sex.
- 33:40Speaker 1: No, I don't like. Well, you know what, she's still
- 33:44Speaker 1: so fucking kinky though, man.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah, she's kinky.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah. The things that they do is like, wow, man,
- 33:50Speaker 1: that's kind of that sounds fun.
- 33:52Speaker 7: But she's furious about Can we talk about how good
- 33:55Speaker 7: to go Sarah Chalk was and how agile she is
- 34:00Speaker 7: pivot on the dime in anything Billy put on her plate?
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:05Speaker 4: Yeah, she's phenomenally underrated in my brain. Same with Judy
- 34:10Speaker 4: of course.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Imagine getting the script and Sarah's like reading it and
- 34:13Speaker 2: she's like, all right, in this scene, you're you're gonna
- 34:16Speaker 2: have what's called box sex. It's something in the writer's
- 34:20Speaker 2: room and you and your partner are going to be
- 34:22Speaker 2: in separate boxes masturbating.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Like, how right, I'll be what now?
- 34:31Speaker 4: What I mean that Sarah? Sarah's skill Sarah's skills are
- 34:35Speaker 4: so incredible that that's no big deal. That's a shrunk.
- 34:38Speaker 4: She can she can pivot right into that, and that's
- 34:41Speaker 4: really hard.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Really.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Now she's livid. She's livid that Keith doesn't use coasters.
- 34:48Speaker 2: She's livid that Keith won't use coasters.
- 34:51Speaker 1: But also not only do they have box sex and
- 34:54Speaker 1: all of this stuff, they don't sleep in the same
- 34:56Speaker 1: bedroom because she doesn't want to feel like, you know,
- 35:01Speaker 1: they're they shouldn't do that before marriage, is what she says,
- 35:05Speaker 1: And then Laverne says something like, you guys can live
- 35:07Speaker 1: in two different states. If you're doing a nasty you
- 35:13Speaker 1: gonna burn.
- 35:17Speaker 2: This coasters thing. How do you we have only men
- 35:21Speaker 2: on the show today, Daniel, your thoughts on coasters? I mean,
- 35:26Speaker 2: I don't think that. I feel like a lot of
- 35:29Speaker 2: things have to go wrong for a cup to really
- 35:33Speaker 2: leave a stain on a piece of wood.
- 35:35Speaker 1: You'd be surprised, dude. All it needs is a little
- 35:37Speaker 1: condensation and that's a wrap.
- 35:39Speaker 5: There's there's definitely a there's like a moment where my
- 35:44Speaker 5: opinion on it changed posts Larry David in that episode
- 35:48Speaker 5: of Respecting Wood when Julia Louis Dreyfus leaves a cup
- 35:51Speaker 5: on the counter, And before I wouldn't think about it
- 35:54Speaker 5: at all, But now that I own my own furniture,
- 35:56Speaker 5: I'm like, yeah, man, you better put a coaster down
- 35:59Speaker 5: under that cup.
- 36:00Speaker 2: If it's cold enough, it's about to sweat onto my table.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I'm not trying to get no rings on that thing.
- 36:05Speaker 1: What if you spend no but dude, you spend a
- 36:07Speaker 1: lot of money on wood too, man Like, let's think
- 36:09Speaker 1: about it. Let's let's just talk about since COVID and
- 36:12Speaker 1: how much wood is costing. Now you know what I mean,
- 36:14Speaker 1: like wood, especially once you start getting into different levels
- 36:18Speaker 1: of wood. Let's talk about your loft and all the
- 36:20Speaker 1: beautiful wood that you have in your loft. You know
- 36:22Speaker 1: what I mean? That shit is expensive and if somebody
- 36:25Speaker 1: fucking disrespect I agree with that one hundred percent. To
- 36:28Speaker 1: if I spend hundreds of dollars on a table, on
- 36:32Speaker 1: a coffee table, and you come over and disrespect what
- 36:36Speaker 1: I have in my house by putting your cup on
- 36:39Speaker 1: that shit, we got a little bit of beef, dude,
- 36:41Speaker 1: like one hundred.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Man Like, but I feel that you're gonna go and
- 36:45Speaker 2: get a coaster. I feel like, is Casey gonna go
- 36:48Speaker 2: get a coaster?
- 36:49Speaker 1: No? Man? If anything, we're gonna be like, I'm gonna
- 36:52Speaker 1: pick it up and I'll go. I might not get
- 36:55Speaker 1: a coaster, but I'll be like we got coasters on
- 36:56Speaker 1: a table. Matter of fact, matter of fact, Casey. When
- 37:00Speaker 1: when I first started dating Casey, right and we moved
- 37:03Speaker 1: in together, she was like, she had a table and
- 37:06Speaker 1: it was a very beautiful table and it had glass
- 37:09Speaker 1: on the top of it, but underneath it was like
- 37:11Speaker 1: very nice carved wood. It was a coffee table. And
- 37:14Speaker 1: to make sure that I use coasters, she bought me
- 37:18Speaker 1: Star Wars coasters wow, and was like, here, you can
- 37:23Speaker 1: use this so that when you.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Don't need a coaster, you're on glass, do you.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Well, no, no, dude, you don't put that Shohnny.
- 37:31Speaker 2: You seem like you seem like you're a coaster serious
- 37:33Speaker 2: kind of guy.
- 37:35Speaker 4: I am. But I would like to offer a solution.
- 37:38Speaker 4: I just put books everywhere on expensive woods and you
- 37:41Speaker 4: can put your you can put your thing down on
- 37:44Speaker 4: the book all you want. It's no problem.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Yeah, believe it or not, a book is expensive wood too.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Hello, Oh my gosh, all right, listen.
- 37:55Speaker 4: When did mister environment get here?
- 37:57Speaker 2: I know, Well, there's a moment where where Turk is
- 38:01Speaker 2: in bed and Carla wakes up and he's making noises,
- 38:06Speaker 2: and the implication is that he's masturbating.
- 38:10Speaker 1: What's wrong with masturbating with your lady? Next to you.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Do you do something? No, I don't, but what's wrong
- 38:16Speaker 1: with that? Like, I don't understand what the issue is
- 38:19Speaker 1: with that.
- 38:19Speaker 2: I don't. I think people, I don't know. It's to
- 38:23Speaker 2: each their own, but I think I feel like I'm
- 38:26Speaker 2: guessing the woman might be like, are you fucking kidding me?
- 38:30Speaker 2: Right now?
- 38:31Speaker 1: Well, look, here's the thing, here's the thing. This is
- 38:34Speaker 1: what this is.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Wait, wait, let me finish with reminding people what happened.
- 38:38Speaker 2: You think he's beating off and then we pull back
- 38:40Speaker 2: to reveal that he's under the covers eating chicken wings,
- 38:47Speaker 2: but he's making noises like I just feel like, oh, okay,
- 39:00Speaker 2: if your wife, I mean, I don't know if this
- 39:02Speaker 2: is this is totally I'm sure you get a zillion answers.
- 39:05Speaker 2: If we were able to poll our audience one day,
- 39:07Speaker 2: one day in the future, will be able to pull
- 39:09Speaker 2: our Well, we're not through that. When we do the
- 39:11Speaker 2: live show, we can pull our anyway. Long story short,
- 39:16Speaker 2: I don't know how women, uh or men or I
- 39:20Speaker 2: guess it's either sex or either sex.
- 39:22Speaker 1: You're giving it up and the other person says I
- 39:24Speaker 1: want it, and you're like, nah, I'm going to bed
- 39:26Speaker 1: you can't be upset if that person masturbates next year,
- 39:29Speaker 1: is my point.
- 39:30Speaker 2: See that's a I bet that's a big debate amongst couples. Also,
- 39:34Speaker 2: what happens if they did give it up? And and
- 39:36Speaker 2: but you're still horny like you are, like Donald, someone
- 39:39Speaker 2: who can go like nine times that day, is she
- 39:43Speaker 2: gonna be offended?
- 39:44Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, it's true, john Johnny, Yeah, it's true.
- 39:53Speaker 4: I know you're your prowess is hall of fame.
- 39:57Speaker 2: It's not gone down at all. It's not gone down
- 39:59Speaker 2: at all, Johnny, since he since he just since he
- 40:01Speaker 2: turned since puberty.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Listen, I am starting to think maybe it's a it's
- 40:08Speaker 1: more of a issue than it is a fun little
- 40:14Speaker 1: fact about Donald, Like, uh.
- 40:19Speaker 4: You're debating whether or not it's an asset or a liability.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Yes, well we know it's a bit of a liability
- 40:24Speaker 2: because it's a source of arguments with his wife. Who
- 40:27Speaker 2: who's had who sometimes is like you've got to be
- 40:30Speaker 2: fucking kidding me. We've had sex, leave me alone.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Like I remember the other day my wife, my
- 40:38Speaker 1: wife and I we had sex, and like about twenty
- 40:42Speaker 1: minutes later, I was like, don't you feel like you
- 40:44Speaker 1: want to just do it again, and she was like, no, I.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Don't Casey, come down here. I'm just kidding, all right,
- 40:56Speaker 2: let's keep going. You sing my name name is Luca.
- 41:02Speaker 1: On the second second.
- 41:04Speaker 2: I live upstairs from you.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I think I have seen you before.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 1: If you hear something late and I had some kind
- 41:18Speaker 1: of troublesome kind of fight, just don't ask me what
- 41:25Speaker 1: it was. Just don't ask me what it was. I
- 41:31Speaker 1: used to love that song My name is Luke.
- 41:33Speaker 2: It's a very sad song. Actually it's about child abuse,
- 41:36Speaker 2: but it is pretty Who sang?
- 41:39Speaker 4: Who in't Bennett that song?
- 41:41Speaker 2: Daniel?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Who sang that's a good look up?
- 41:44Speaker 2: Come on, Joel would have been on this, Danel? Oh,
- 41:47Speaker 2: what is a song called Luca? My name is Luca
- 41:50Speaker 2: by whom we're trying to find out by That's okay,
- 41:53Speaker 2: that's right, come on down. I'm usually doing the other part.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Suzanne Vega. Oh, yes, yes, damn man. Anyway, So, Johnny,
- 42:04Speaker 2: your storyline in this is that Donald broke his hand
- 42:08Speaker 2: with the fan accident, and Kelso says, well, if you're
- 42:12Speaker 2: not gonna be since you can't do surgery because he
- 42:14Speaker 2: has cast in your arm, I'm gonna put you down
- 42:16Speaker 2: with a cox. I'm gonna make you a resident and
- 42:19Speaker 2: maybe you can. You're not just gonna be a scalpel jockey.
- 42:24Speaker 2: You're gonna actually have to learn some of the medicine,
- 42:27Speaker 2: like dot, like the doctors do when they're on rounds
- 42:29Speaker 2: with cocks. And he comes down there and he puts
- 42:34Speaker 2: on a pair of glasses because he's gonna he thinks
- 42:37Speaker 2: that it's that doctor. The medical doctors are nerdy, and
- 42:42Speaker 2: so he tries to fuck with everyone by wearing a
- 42:45Speaker 2: pair of Clark Kent looking glasses. And you instantly start
- 42:50Speaker 2: quizzing him as you do the residence, on on on
- 42:54Speaker 2: on medical questions, and he knows nothing. The reason he starts,
- 42:59Speaker 2: the reason he begins to sing my Name is Luca,
- 43:01Speaker 2: is that you ask for I forget what it is,
- 43:04Speaker 2: but you say, what are some common common ways to
- 43:07Speaker 2: treat Lucas? And then he finds his way into singing
- 43:11Speaker 2: my name is Luca.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Do you remember the movie Luca?
- 43:17Speaker 2: No?
- 43:17Speaker 4: I remember the movie Lucas.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Oh, I loved Lucas. Good movie.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Johnny who was in Lucas No Luca was Charlie she Yeah,
- 43:26Speaker 1: Charlie Sheen is.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Arlie Sheen was in Lucas.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and that right, but they call him Luca short
- 43:31Speaker 1: for Luca Plakia in the in the in that movie,
- 43:34Speaker 1: Corey Haim, if I'm correct, right, Charlie Sheen.
- 43:37Speaker 2: I'm pulling it up right now because Daniel's not gonna
- 43:39Speaker 2: do it right. It was really good.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Corey Haym plays Lucas. And Kerry Green. I had such
- 43:47Speaker 2: a touch on her, goodies, baby, I mean, Kerry, this
- 43:51Speaker 2: is eighty six. This is when I, you know, I
- 43:53Speaker 2: had reached the age where it was like, oh, these
- 43:56Speaker 2: are new feelings.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Yeah. And Kerry Green, Yeah, we're nona write a plays
- 44:05Speaker 1: his best friend.
- 44:08Speaker 2: It's a good movie.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Great because Cory Ham, Corey.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Haym, whoie, okay, checking Johnny David Seltzer, David Seltzer. David
- 44:18Speaker 2: Seltzer got it. He wrote it as well. Okay, So
- 44:22Speaker 2: you guys should check that movie out if you haven't
- 44:24Speaker 2: seen it. It's an eighty six classic. All right, Moving
- 44:27Speaker 2: on here. Another funny bit that happens during the show
- 44:29Speaker 2: is because Donald has become a medical intern under the
- 44:32Speaker 2: tutelage of doctor Cox, he starts taking over the turn
- 44:37Speaker 2: of the Head and the and the theme starts and
- 44:40Speaker 2: he goes and that's when I realized that maybe doctor
- 44:43Speaker 2: and I come over, like, what are you doing? That's
- 44:44Speaker 2: my thing?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 44:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but you hear that because then.
- 44:51Speaker 1: JD says to him. JD says, yeah, you don't like you.
- 44:56Speaker 1: You think it's nothing now that you don't know the answer.
- 45:01Speaker 1: But pretty soon you're gonna want his like attention or
- 45:06Speaker 1: you're gonna craval approval approval. Right, you're gonna crave his
- 45:10Speaker 1: approval and you'll be And and then right away Turk
- 45:15Speaker 1: goes into looking off and goes, you know, j D
- 45:18Speaker 1: was JD. I don't know what JD was talking about.
- 45:21Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, and you immediately
- 45:23Speaker 1: jump back in.
- 45:26Speaker 2: And Johnny, you're Cox is fucking with him the whole time,
- 45:29Speaker 2: trying to prove that he doesn't know anything. Now, there's
- 45:33Speaker 2: a very one of the most bizarre subplots, the Janitor's subplot.
- 45:36Speaker 2: I guess you would call the C story, yeah, or
- 45:40Speaker 2: I don't know if you'd call it the D story.
- 45:43Speaker 2: But for no reason, it's really really weird. But the
- 45:47Speaker 2: janitor decides to grow mutton chops. Yes, and and it
- 45:55Speaker 2: looks really bad. It looks like I say it looks
- 45:58Speaker 2: like tiny hamsters died all over your face. And he says,
- 46:01Speaker 2: you say that now, but wait for a week from
- 46:04Speaker 2: now and look amazing.
- 46:06Speaker 1: And no, two weeks from now. Then it cuts to
- 46:09Speaker 1: two weeks.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and not only bizarrely this is never addressed at first,
- 46:15Speaker 2: but Snoop Dogg Resident is there and he also has
- 46:19Speaker 2: now has mutton chops munt chops.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Yes, yes, well he's convinced. He well, he tells you
- 46:24Speaker 1: that it's gonna catch on and everybody's.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Gonna go that's okay, So that's why. Okay, so the
- 46:30Speaker 2: janitor starts a trend saying, oh, you're making fun of me.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Watch this is gonna catch on. Everyone's gonna grow mutton chops. Well,
- 46:37Speaker 2: Snoop Dogg Resident is the first, is the first to
- 46:40Speaker 2: catch on, and he's rocking some serious.
- 46:48Speaker 1: He got some mutton chops.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Mutton chops, okay, And.
- 46:52Speaker 1: It turns out that but then it turns out that
- 46:54Speaker 1: the janitors was faking the mutton chops and they weren't real,
- 46:59Speaker 1: and he takes them off and that.
- 47:01Speaker 2: He gives them jumping ahead.
- 47:02Speaker 1: But okay, yeah, but that's what we're supposed to do, right.
- 47:06Speaker 2: With Joel out here. Everything's falling apart.
- 47:08Speaker 1: But I miss you, Joel.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Listen. What happens is Keith Elliott pretty much says to Keith, look,
- 47:17Speaker 2: this is my house. You just have your room, and
- 47:22Speaker 2: Keith to get back at Elliott decides to yes, just
- 47:28Speaker 2: throw a party that Elliott's not invited.
- 47:31Speaker 1: To in his room in his rents.
- 47:35Speaker 2: And and at the party, the janitor is sort of
- 47:39Speaker 2: holding court.
- 47:40Speaker 1: With all of the mutton chop.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Everyone at the party has mutton jumps. Yes, it makes
- 47:48Speaker 2: no sense at all. It's a mutton chop party.
- 47:52Speaker 1: And that's when he reveals that his chops were fake.
- 47:55Speaker 2: And then but the janitor then pulls off his mutton
- 47:58Speaker 2: chops to reveal that his were fake, and just to
- 48:01Speaker 2: make it to prove to everyone that is that they're
- 48:05Speaker 2: just followers and he could make them do anything. But
- 48:09Speaker 2: but I understand the point of any of that.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Yeah, this is my.
- 48:14Speaker 4: This is my favorite episode I've ever heard in my life.
- 48:17Speaker 2: You know, you know what I'm really liking. There's a
- 48:19Speaker 2: new podcast, guys, audience. It's called It's called It's called
- 48:23Speaker 2: Donald and Zach explain an episode of Scrubs to Johnny semang.
- 48:29Speaker 4: Slime. It's fantastic.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Well, this one's a hard one to follow if you
- 48:33Speaker 2: haven't seen it recently, because I mean, we got you
- 48:36Speaker 2: got Nurse Roberts pooing from the sky on Wi's car.
- 48:41Speaker 1: With with burlesque with burlesque wings.
- 48:44Speaker 2: That might have that might have syphilis on them.
- 48:46Speaker 1: That might have that might have contracted Nurse Roberts might
- 48:50Speaker 1: have contracted syphilis from the wings from.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Flying, from flying to go pooh on Kelso's car.
- 48:58Speaker 1: So I was gonna say this. Kelso goes on a
- 49:00Speaker 1: vacation with his son.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Yes, Kelso comes back from the Bahamas on a trip
- 49:05Speaker 2: from his son, and he has had his hair braided,
- 49:12Speaker 2: and he complains, he uses a term we don't use anymore.
- 49:15Speaker 2: But it turns out that some of Harrison's transgender friends
- 49:18Speaker 2: thought it would be funny to braid his hair. And
- 49:22Speaker 2: he's also in corn Roads corn and is that a wig?
- 49:27Speaker 2: Or did they really corn roll Kelso's hair?
- 49:30Speaker 1: I don't know. It's got to be a wig. I
- 49:32Speaker 1: don't know if they I don't think. If I don't think,
- 49:34Speaker 1: I don't think. King came in and was like, yeah,
- 49:36Speaker 1: all right, just corn rolled out iverson. I want the
- 49:38Speaker 1: iverson that takes a lot of time.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, it must have been a wig, but it
- 49:44Speaker 2: was a funny wig. Whoever did it? And he's also
- 49:46Speaker 2: sunburned because he did oh sorry the the it was
- 49:49Speaker 2: done to him while he was asleep in the sun. Yes,
- 49:52Speaker 2: so he's sunburned and he has corn rows.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Now, this was something that I learned at the end
- 49:59Speaker 1: of the episode that kind of I didn't think about
- 50:05Speaker 1: this before, but this makes it so much And now
- 50:10Speaker 1: I get why JD's having such a hard time asking
- 50:13Speaker 1: people out and jumping back into the relationship world. It's
- 50:17Speaker 1: not necessarily because him and Kim didn't work, and he
- 50:21Speaker 1: kind of feels vulnerable and everything like that. But what
- 50:24Speaker 1: if it does get to the level where JD has
- 50:26Speaker 1: sex again, he could actually pass out from having sex,
- 50:31Speaker 1: And that's what he's afraid of. He says it in
- 50:33Speaker 1: his speech. Not only can he pass out from pooing,
- 50:36Speaker 1: but there's a strong possibility that he could pass out
- 50:39Speaker 1: from having sex.
- 50:42Speaker 2: His attempt at hitting on that woman is so funny.
- 50:47Speaker 2: I wanted to write it down, but it was too long.
- 50:49Speaker 2: But he's like goes into this long tirade about how
- 50:52Speaker 2: he's trying to ask this beautiful woman out and he goes, look,
- 50:55Speaker 2: I live in a tent. I occasionally pass out from pooping.
- 50:59Speaker 2: I recently got my ex girlfriend pregnant and we never
- 51:04Speaker 2: even had sex. I he lists how shitty his life is.
- 51:09Speaker 2: But then he's like, would you be willing to go on?
- 51:12Speaker 2: And she's like no, and he goes, just no, and
- 51:17Speaker 2: she's like, no explanation, no explanation, just no. And she's like, yeah, no, no,
- 51:24Speaker 2: just no.
- 51:26Speaker 4: But watch this episode.
- 51:28Speaker 2: You're gonna love it. And then the song. The show
- 51:30Speaker 2: ends with a great song by Travis called Turn, which
- 51:33Speaker 2: I've always loved and and the highlight. The actual the
- 51:37Speaker 2: win of the episode is that Private Dancer is able
- 51:42Speaker 2: to has been struggling to sign his name, and his
- 51:46Speaker 2: counselor and the woman I unsuccessfully hit hit on is
- 51:50Speaker 2: successful in getting him to uh to write his name
- 51:54Speaker 2: again after his brain trauma. And that's kind of the
- 51:57Speaker 2: big win that happens in the episode. I Johnny in
- 52:01Speaker 2: the previous episode got a scooter scootering while under the
- 52:05Speaker 2: influence because I was pushing my scooter and I was intoxicated,
- 52:10Speaker 2: and so my scooter has had a breathalyzer attached to it.
- 52:14Speaker 2: I'm finally allowed to drive it again, but I have
- 52:17Speaker 2: to blow into the breathalyzer. Like I think they have
- 52:20Speaker 2: this actually for cars, right, doesn't This happened to definitely
- 52:23Speaker 2: do Okay, So it's a thing that happens if you
- 52:26Speaker 2: get a dui that they put on cars. I don't
- 52:28Speaker 2: think they actually put it on scooters, but anyway, I
- 52:32Speaker 2: could be wrong. But anyway, he's about to finally drive
- 52:35Speaker 2: off on his scooter again for the first time, and
- 52:38Speaker 2: he explains this to the janitor, and the janitor is
- 52:41Speaker 2: about to start his shift, and the janitor grabs the
- 52:44Speaker 2: tube and blows into it, and then the and the
- 52:46Speaker 2: engine won't start, and the and the janitor is like,
- 52:50Speaker 2: I gotta come. My ship's about to start.
- 52:53Speaker 1: The janitor goes somewhere drunk. That's what we learned.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Well, we know the janitor is a drinker, but we
- 52:59Speaker 2: didn't know he was always is drunk. All right, that's
- 53:01Speaker 2: the episode is very funny, Johnny, do you want to
- 53:03Speaker 2: stay for the caller? I we have we have a
- 53:06Speaker 2: caller that it's I think right up your alley. You're
- 53:08Speaker 2: going to really enjoy them. All right, We'll be right
- 53:11Speaker 2: back with the caller. You're not gonna want to mess.
- 53:14Speaker 2: We'll be right back, and.
- 53:20Speaker 1: We're back, and we're back.
- 53:23Speaker 2: So Johnny, just give you a little background this couple.
- 53:26Speaker 2: They use a pseudonym Johnny because this is the third
- 53:29Speaker 2: time on the show and no longer has anything to
- 53:31Speaker 2: do with scrubs. We're just so interested in them. They
- 53:34Speaker 2: they have an arrangement where she is every so often
- 53:38Speaker 2: allowed to bang his best friend.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Whenever she wants to.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Well, I think, I think if I will check with her,
- 53:44Speaker 2: but I think it's she goes over to his house
- 53:47Speaker 2: and they and the husband is okay with it, and
- 53:51Speaker 2: and they bang and and and he has yet We said,
- 53:56Speaker 2: are you allowed the same luxury? And he has said yes,
- 53:59Speaker 2: he said yes, But I haven't found, you know, the
- 54:03Speaker 2: woman or one of her friends that I really would
- 54:06Speaker 2: like to do it with.
- 54:08Speaker 1: We're hoping right now that he has found someone.
- 54:11Speaker 2: So we always hope. We always check in with them
- 54:13Speaker 2: every so often to see if he's had his chance
- 54:16Speaker 2: to have his yin yang. I don't know if that's
- 54:19Speaker 2: the right way.
- 54:21Speaker 4: You know, what, do you know what? How this has
- 54:24Speaker 4: impacted me?
- 54:26Speaker 2: Your rock hard right now, Johnny, can't wait.
- 54:34Speaker 4: I pulled over.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Someone texted me. Joel texted me. By the way, we
- 54:38Speaker 2: got the couple again. Do you think Johnny C Will
- 54:40Speaker 2: be okay talking to them? I said, are you kidding me?
- 54:43Speaker 2: This will make Johnny C's day.
- 54:47Speaker 4: I pulled the truck over on the side of the road.
- 54:49Speaker 2: All right, good, all right, carefully, all right, here we go.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Bring him in, Dan, we can.
- 54:58Speaker 8: Talk, you know, maybe talking about the episode. So come on,
- 55:07Speaker 8: let's get the show.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Of ladies and gentlemen giving up from a show.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Michell thundrous applause everybody, Michelle, welcome back to the program.
- 55:21Speaker 2: I want to introduce you to the legendary Johnny C McGinley,
- 55:25Speaker 2: who plays doctor Cox on the show.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Hello him, Michelle. I pulled over to be able to
- 55:30Speaker 4: meet you and experience you.
- 55:34Speaker 2: We told Johnny about your your your your situation and
- 55:39Speaker 2: how it's unique and and and Donald and I find
- 55:41Speaker 2: it fascinating. And uh, and he was so struck by
- 55:44Speaker 2: by the scenario that he pulled over his car because
- 55:47Speaker 2: he wanted to be He wanted to be able to
- 55:49Speaker 2: safely focus on the story. But uh, and Michelle, I
- 55:53Speaker 2: hope you never And Michelle is your pseudonym. By the way,
- 55:55Speaker 2: just for the audience to know we we hope you
- 55:58Speaker 2: you never think for any possible way we are laughing
- 56:01Speaker 2: at you or anything. We're just so fascinated by this,
- 56:05Speaker 2: this unique anecdote, and we we are big what's the
- 56:10Speaker 2: word preachers of whatever anyone's sexual identity is or whatever
- 56:15Speaker 2: their situation is and it works for them, is magnificent
- 56:19Speaker 2: as long as it's consensual and uh, and no one's
- 56:23Speaker 2: being harmed. So I didn't want you to think that
- 56:25Speaker 2: we always have you back on. We're just so curious
- 56:28Speaker 2: because as men, we don't even have Joel today. As men,
- 56:31Speaker 2: we I think it's safe to say I can't speak
- 56:35Speaker 2: for Johnny yet, but Donald, Daniel and I would have
- 56:38Speaker 2: such a problem with this arrangement. So we're just so fascinated.
- 56:42Speaker 2: We're here to check in. How's it going. Is your
- 56:44Speaker 2: husband still okay with this all? Has are you guys
- 56:47Speaker 2: still married?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Has he stepped away from the situation?
- 56:50Speaker 2: Has he has he had his chance to be with
- 56:53Speaker 2: another woman? We will we we won't want to follow
- 56:56Speaker 2: up or another man or person.
- 56:59Speaker 6: I am afraid I'm going to be a very boring
- 57:02Speaker 6: podcast guest because nothing has changed. We're still married. He's
- 57:07Speaker 6: actually picking up our kids from school right now, That's
- 57:10Speaker 6: usually my job, but he took over today so I
- 57:12Speaker 6: could talk with you guys. He has not done anything.
- 57:16Speaker 6: I don't know that he ever will. I don't know
- 57:18Speaker 6: that that is.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Something that does that frustrate you. Does that frustrate you? Okay?
- 57:22Speaker 2: Cool?
- 57:22Speaker 6: No, he so he has his own things that I'm
- 57:26Speaker 6: not going to go into. That's his thing if he
- 57:29Speaker 6: ever wants to join and talk to you guys. But
- 57:32Speaker 6: you know, this is something that I wanted. It doesn't
- 57:35Speaker 6: have to be something that he wants, but is something
- 57:37Speaker 6: that I say.
- 57:38Speaker 2: So what you're saying, and something I think that's new
- 57:40Speaker 2: to us is you're saying without without saying anything private
- 57:44Speaker 2: about him that you guys might have an arrangement that says, Hey,
- 57:47Speaker 2: you you like to do X, Y and Z in
- 57:50Speaker 2: exchange for that, I'm going to be with your friend
- 57:55Speaker 2: every so often.
- 57:57Speaker 6: It's not even an exchange thing. It's he His thing
- 58:01Speaker 6: started long before mine did, and he him coming to
- 58:05Speaker 6: me with his and being open about it gave me
- 58:09Speaker 6: the space of the room to come to him and say, hey,
- 58:11Speaker 6: I'm having these feelings. I'm kind of interested in doing this.
- 58:14Speaker 6: I don't think I ever could have done that if
- 58:16Speaker 6: he had started and then open with me about things.
- 58:21Speaker 1: So he introduced you to the life, then that's what you're.
- 58:25Speaker 2: No, we don't know, we don't know what his thing is,
- 58:27Speaker 2: and we're respecting his privacy. But I'm saying I think
- 58:30Speaker 2: what's so interesting to us is that it to me personally,
- 58:33Speaker 2: I'm not speaking for these other gentlemen, is that it's
- 58:36Speaker 2: just so fascinating that it's a very good friend of
- 58:39Speaker 2: yours and Johnny the friend comes over and hangs out
- 58:42Speaker 2: with the kids and they all they all watch TV together.
- 58:48Speaker 2: It's just I just feel so I don't know, unbelievable.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Okay, So here's the question. Has it Trent? Has it
- 58:56Speaker 1: turned into anything else between you and the friend like
- 59:02Speaker 1: before it was? You and your husband are very secure
- 59:06Speaker 1: with your relationship. Is it still the same type of
- 59:10Speaker 1: Is it still the same type of thing? No feelings?
- 59:13Speaker 1: Like Look, if i'm if I have sex with someone enough,
- 59:17Speaker 1: I might eventually be like, man, I have emotional feelings
- 59:23Speaker 1: to emotional attachment.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Also, yeah, are you worried about catching a monk? Are
- 59:26Speaker 2: you worried? Are you worried about catching feelings with with
- 59:29Speaker 2: the friend?
- 59:30Speaker 6: So I and you love as a spectrum like I
- 59:34Speaker 6: love my husband, that's all the way over here. I
- 59:36Speaker 6: do love this friend, but it's not a love that
- 59:38Speaker 6: I'm going to run away from my husband and my
- 59:41Speaker 6: family and go and live with him. I love him,
- 59:44Speaker 6: I care for him in a way. It's different than
- 59:48Speaker 6: my husband, but there's there are feelings there and that's okay.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah it is. And do you do you ever
- 59:56Speaker 2: is it a set schedule or do you or do
- 59:59Speaker 2: you are you allowed to what if you're like, is
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: it like, hey, every so every other Thursday, I'm making
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: this up, I go or or or are you allowed
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: to go? Whenever you want?
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: It's been a schedule, so every other it's Wednesday. But
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: every other Wednesday, I'll you know, we just plan, you know,
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: I I have dinner done, and I go over there
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: a little bit later. After dinner. My husband, you know,
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: puts the kids to bed, does whatever he wants, and
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: it's just kind of part of our routine. And sometimes
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: it has to change because of scheduling things. And I
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: am more than happy to change if, like my husband
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: has plans or wants to do something, but we just
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: kind of usually keep it on the same same day
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: every couple of weeks.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: And do you stay over there or do you come
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: back home? Come back home?
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I come back home. I mean I stay relatively late.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: We usually watch a couple of movies and just like
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: talk for a while. So yeah, but I'm I'm always
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: in bed at my home.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Are you open to vacation? Yeah?
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: What if the friend is like a h oh? I
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: have another question? How is what the friend obviously is
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: sexually attracted to you? It goes without saying what if
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: he started he must have feelings for you? What about
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: his dating life? Does he do you? Do you? Do
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you ever think that this relationship with you might be
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: keeping him from branching out and and finding someone else
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: because he he only gets you, you know, to Wednesdays
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: a month.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: Mm hmm. Yeah, And that is something that I ask
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: him frequently. He is he's tried the dating apps. I've
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: asked him like he just does not care for that
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: type of interaction. Yeah, I mean I've told him many times.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: If this is holding you back in any way, then
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: you know, just say the word and we'll cut back
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: in whatever way. You know, He's still going to be
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: our friend, so there will be no hard feelings. I
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: probably am annoying about asking him.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, you have questions for Michelle.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Well, the only thing I can own is a fatal
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: flow of mine. I have horrible jealousy issues, and so
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: that's why this is or I did I got. I
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: kind of managed all that, but I mean, I had horrible,
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: horrible jealousy issues, which is all inadequacy and insecurity, and
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: I've worked through it. But I this is so amblient
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: to me just because I feel so I've dealt with
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: so much jealousy, which is all self generated, and I
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: know the whole catalog.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Well, well, Johnny, you're talking about your I think, I
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: mean it's safe to say. You're talking about feeling jealous
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: in a in a in in a in a situation
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: that isn't This is like double black diamond marriage dating.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: I mean you're talking about that, you're talking about green circle.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: I find this just completely and utterly fascinating too.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Because because we would, we would be jealous too. That's
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: why we always found it interesting. I get jealous when
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: I see Donald's hanging out with other other men.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Sometimes, you know, but I don't flaunt it in your face. Man.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Sometimes you'll post something with Seth Green. I don't like that, Zach.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Would you like me to talk about the people that
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you have been flaunting your little I didn't.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: I only sent you one fraud. I could have sent
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: you many of Morgan and I.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Morgan Freeman, Jay z.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: U not Jay z.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what we'll call it. What's his name?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Fucking the little redhead dude? What's his name?
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Ed?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Sharon?
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: The little redhead dude.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: We all share. We all share the fatal flaw of jealousy.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I give all the props in
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: the world to my husband because he I mean, and
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: it's not do you think you'd.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Be able to I'm sorry to cut you off, but
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: do you think you'd be able to hold your jealousy
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: in that situation?
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: It's easy to say, but do you honestly feel like, Yeah,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I know it.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: It is easy to say, and people can judge all
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: they want and say, well, I think it'd be different
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: if he did. I've thought through it a ton, and yeah,
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: I would probably ask more questions.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: So make sure, Like I just think I couldn't. I
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: could not handle it. It's just so, I mean it,
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: but I but I just think it's so. What I
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: think is so cool is that you two found something
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: that works. It clearly isn't hurting your relationship at all.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Things seem to be great. He seems content, You seem
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: doubly content. It's it's works, which is kind of which
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: is so inspiring. I mean, there's so many incarnations of
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: what a relationship could be. Of course, if people could
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: could handle it, I just couldn't.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I couldn't, you know, I wonder you know, and I'm
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: sure there are people out there that are like that,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: but part of it has and I'm not speaking for
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: your husband and I'm not speaking for you, but I'm
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: sure there are people out there that listen to this
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: podcast and get turned on by this and find this,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: you know, find this in some way something that maybe
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: they want to do in their relationship. Are there any
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: type of are there any type of uh, like, what's
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: the best advice to get into?
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Yeah? Well that's a good, good, good, good good hosting Donald.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: If there's someone listening who finds the Michelle scenario that
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: she has with her husband fascinating, Michelle, do you have
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: any advice on how to broach it with your partner?
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Because there must I'm sure there's people listening who are like,
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: I'm go on preach, I'm intrigued.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: So, I mean, every relationship is different. Communication is the key.
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: Like we talked about it a ton before anything happened.
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: He did need reassurances, which I understand that, like this
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: wasn't going to evolve into something that is going to
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: leave him high and dry. We still talk about it,
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: not like every week or anything, but just a month
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: and a half or so ago we sat down and
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: he's like, I'm kind of in my head about it,
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: and so we talked through it. And every time we
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: have one of those talks, like our connection gets deeper,
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: Like we have conversations that I can guarantee you a
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: lot of relationships don't have because of this situation.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Yeah, well you clearly have amazing communication and and and
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: that's the key to any sort of relationship. Is the
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: successful ones seem to be all about open communication. Well,
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: I want to thank you for coming back on you.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Just do you have any questions for us or any
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: give me?
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: No, she's over, She's like, stop, can call me right were.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: The we're the boyfriend that's always like, hey, bake head,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: what you're doing?
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: You are.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: Always happy to chat with you guys. Since uh Johnson
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: McGinley is on here, I had a question for him.
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: So you frequently called j D a girl's name in
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: the show. I need a girl's name to call my
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: husband when I when I need to, uh, just knock
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: him down.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: No, holy ship, it just got interesting people.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: I suggest. I'm feeling a strong Susan vibe.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Susan's always good. Susan's always good. So ione should do
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: a graph, a bar graph of of of all the
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: different names, and and how many uh I was called,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: and how many times each one was used.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I feel like Gloria has used a lot Gloria Susan,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: not a lot of Karen.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Now Karen's taken on a whole other thing.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: I'm worried about Gloria having a pregnant pregnancy. So old.
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: Magic seed, the magic seed, will the clips it all?
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Do you know?
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Oh my gosh? All right, anyway, Michelle, thank you so
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: much for coming on. We appreciate you, and uh and
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: we promise we'll stop bothering you. We just we just
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: we're just we're just we're just a bunch of of
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: curious men who find this story unique and uh, and
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: thank you for entertaining us.
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: Yeah, thanks for having me.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Guys, all right, bye, thank you for being I take care.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, I just I just uh, she seems to
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: always be down to chat about it. I just find
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: it so unique. Like the fact that it's his best
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: friend is I think maybe what maybe what makes it
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: extra bizarre.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: I know, but she's so grounded and real and there's
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: no no affectation of any kind. She said every time
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: they communicate, their relationship gets deeper. The most incredible thing
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: I've ever heard.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just so unique to me because I know
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: about open relationships. I'm not an idiot, but the fact
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: that like this is his best friend, like he comes
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: over for movie night and they all watch movies with
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: the kids, Like that's just one step where I like,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: my brain can handle that certain couples have open relationships.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: The idea that it's his best friend my brain can't handle.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it would suck. I mean, I'm not gonna sit
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: and I take that back. It would be really uh
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: different if you came over and hung out with me,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Casey and the kids, and then on Wednesday, Casey was like,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I'm going to pack up, I'm like, where are you going?
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: And she's like, I'm gonna head over to Zex.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: It's you know, I fuck Zach on Wednesday.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: You know, you know we fuck on Wednesday.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: You have to put the kids down.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Susan calls me Susan and it calls me.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Anyway. That's our show, Johnny, We love You. I'm we
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: know what the new The new podcast is we explain
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: episodes to Johnny.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: That's hilarious. That's hilarious that we explained TV episodes to
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Johnson McGinley.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Zach Bravidal, Fason explain old episodes of Scrubs Johnny hasn't
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: seen to Johnny while he drives, Johnny, We love You.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: It was great to It was great to watch. The
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: audience didn't get the pleasure of watching Johnny's face during
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: all of that. It was. It was wonderful to see
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: as he took it all in.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: I can. I love listening to you guys. Uh storytell
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: me While I was driving, but I damn sure I
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: had to pull over for Michelle.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, and I'm.
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: Glad I did too.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Yeah you are, yeah you are because you got to
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: think about this for a while too, Dude. I thought
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: about this for so long.
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: I was like whoa, how like just why why does
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: that resonate for us?
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: So, I mean, it's the best friend part, dude, it's
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: the best friend part. It's not the it's not the
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: open relationship. No, plenty of people have that. It's the
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: best friend hanging out with them part.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: I think they're right.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: That's where it gets. That's where it gets like, oh ship.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: This dude even comes over and hangs out with the
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: both of them.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Although she implied this time for the first time without
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: going into any detail, that he has his own thing
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: that that she's okay with. We have no idea, of course,
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: what that is. So so so I think there may
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: be more mutualness to this than.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Imagine. Imagine if it's like, well, he plays D and
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: D and when.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: He follows, he beats off to Daniel's twitch.
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: When you just when you just personalized it and made
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: it you Donald and Zach, I couldn't even handle that.
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: I could.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: I can't handle it.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: I'm too I don't know, I don't I don't have
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: the tools.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: I'm dying. And this thing is it's definitely watching Daniel's twitch.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: She's like, she's like, if you're gonna watch that fucking ship.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: I get.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: He's like, but I love Daniel's twitch, and she's like, well,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: well I love fucking Dave. Oh boy, all right, that's
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: the show. We love you guys very much. Johnny, I
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: love you.
