- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know. Here we go.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Just getting things started on this Friday morning. Appreciate you
- 0:06Speaker 2: being here. Starting Friday with us. Happy Friday, by the way.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things presented by Mark Spain
- 0:11Speaker 2: Real Estate.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Hilary Swank is pregnant with her third child. She's due
- 0:16Speaker 3: in December, according to the Instagram post that she made
- 0:18Speaker 3: to announce her pregnancy. It was a cute little video.
- 0:21Speaker 3: They were all kind of like lit up with glow
- 0:23Speaker 3: sticks as like humans. I'm sure you've seen it around Halloween.
- 0:26Speaker 3: A lot of people end up dressing up as like
- 0:27Speaker 3: glow stick people.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 0:29Speaker 3: To announce that she is pregnant. Hillary is 52, which
- 0:31Speaker 3: is really amazing to see for women who haven't started
- 0:33Speaker 3: their families yet, like me. She's welcomed twins three years ago,
- 0:38Speaker 3: and now this will be her third at 52. So
- 0:40Speaker 3: congrats to her and her family. Yeah, it's really awesome
- 0:43Speaker 3: to see because, I mean, women are having kids later
- 0:46Speaker 3: and later in life, and there ain't nothing wrong with that.
- 0:48Speaker 2: God, it makes me wonder if the door's not closed
- 0:49Speaker 2: for me yet.
- 0:50Speaker 3: You and your baby fever that you get all the time.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I will say, after you guys having two, they're much older.
- 0:57Speaker 4: I think your wife might be dying.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe.
- 1:01Speaker 3: In case you missed it, Zach Bryan announced a Nashville show.
- 1:04Speaker 3: He's playing the new Nissan Stadium on May 22nd with
- 1:07Speaker 3: special guest John Fogerty. Tickets go on sale next Friday,
- 1:10Speaker 3: October 23rd, on his website, zachbryan.com. A lot of new
- 1:16Speaker 3: shows are kind of releasing now that are going to
- 1:18Speaker 3: be at the new Nissan Stadium, which.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Is really exciting. to see who's going to be playing there.
- 1:23Speaker 3: And David's Bridal. They now have wedding gowns and tuxes
- 1:26Speaker 3: for dogs. This is their first ever pet collection. It's
- 1:30Speaker 3: specifically for people who want their pets to be involved
- 1:32Speaker 3: in their special day. The new Puppy Love Collection includes
- 1:36Speaker 3: dog-sized tuxedos, suits, shirts, veils, and wedding gowns so you
- 1:41Speaker 3: can match your dog. Most pieces of the collection range
- 1:46Speaker 3: from $ 11 to $ 65. Couples can also commission a custom
- 1:51Speaker 3: miniature version of a wedding dress for their pet. So
- 1:53Speaker 3: you can really, really match your pet if you actually
- 1:56Speaker 3: want to.
- 1:57Speaker 4: I love this. I think it's adorable. People are involving
- 1:59Speaker 4: their pets more and more in their wedding ceremonies.
- 2:03Speaker 2: It's cute. It's very cute.
- 2:05Speaker 4: I know a lot of people are like, oh, you're
- 2:06Speaker 4: going to buy your dog a wedding gown?
- 2:07Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I think it's adorable. Do whatever you want.
- 2:10Speaker 3: It's your day. You can do.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Whatever you want. And yes, you're right, Kevin.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Part of the family.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Need to know.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I bought a little tuxedo for my dog, Owen. R.I.P., buddy.
- 2:21Speaker 2: But he wore that when I proposed to Allie.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He was.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Adorable.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It was great.
- 2:25Speaker 3: That's adorable.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Everybody loved it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky.
- 2:28Speaker 2: We're going to get back into the music with Tate McRae.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Don't forget, we have these Carly Rae Jepsen tickets on
- 2:32Speaker 2: the way for the first caller of the day.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Not yet.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Within 10 minutes, we'll ask you to call if you
- 2:37Speaker 2: want those. Here's Housewife from Tate on The River.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Let's say good morning to Ashley in Lebanon. Good morning, Ashley.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Good morning. Welcome to 107.5 The River. What are you
- 2:48Speaker 2: doing on this Friday morning?
- 2:49Speaker 3: I am headed to work.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Tell us everything about it, Ashley. Where do you work?
- 2:53Speaker 2: What do you do? I am a cashier at Love's.
- 2:59Speaker 2: At Love's? Like the gas station?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Yo, Ashley, I have this weird thing about gas station food,
- 3:05Speaker 5: and Love's always has.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Really, really good, like, fresh, hot food.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yes, that they do.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I love it.
- 3:11Speaker 3: It's one of Zach's, like, weird superhuman things that he
- 3:14Speaker 3: can do. He can tell you which gas station to
- 3:17Speaker 3: stop at depending on where you are. in Tennessee because
- 3:20Speaker 3: he stopped at every one.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Yeah, actually, Oh Wow is right.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Not something I should be proud of.
- 3:26Speaker 3: He has stopped at pretty much every gas station that's
- 3:28Speaker 3: ever existed here in Middle Tennessee. And he has very
- 3:32Speaker 3: specific ones that he likes. So that's high praise coming
- 3:34Speaker 3: from Zach.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Zach, you should host like a travel food show, but
- 3:38Speaker 2: just going to gas stations. Honestly, we have talked about it.
- 3:42Speaker 3: We've talked about this so many times and he hasn't
- 3:44Speaker 3: done it. It's such a good idea. And then you
- 3:46Speaker 3: can rate the bathrooms and everything, too?
- 3:49Speaker 2: You have to be my videographer, though.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I'll think about it. Back to Ashley.
- 3:54Speaker 3: You have anything planned this weekend, Ashley? I do not
- 3:58Speaker 3: at the moment. Okay, so maybe a nice relaxing weekend?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Okay, it's supposed to be nice.
- 4:03Speaker 4: This weekend, like a cooler weather, thank God.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Yes, because it's been extremely hot this summer.
- 4:09Speaker 2: What about Halloween? Do you guys have Halloween plans, Ashley?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Do you have a costume picked out? I do not,
- 4:14Speaker 2: but I'll be taking my kids trick-or-treating.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yay.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I want to go trick-or-treating again, guys. I know I'm
- 4:19Speaker 4: an adult.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Ashley, you want to take me trick-or-treating.
- 4:23Speaker 2: With you and your kids?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, absolutely.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Come on.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Oh, that was really sweet.
- 4:27Speaker 2: That was because you put her on the spot. She
- 4:29Speaker 2: very easily could have been like.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Girl, no.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Well, Ashley, we've tortured you long enough, okay? It's time
- 4:36Speaker 3: to tell you that you are the first caller of
- 4:38Speaker 3: the day this morning on 107.5 The River. You're going
- 4:41Speaker 3: to see Carly Rae Jepsen at The Truth next year.
- 4:44Speaker 1: All right.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Congratulations. The show's in May. It's crazy to hear you
- 4:47Speaker 2: say next year, but that's true. Next year? It's happening
- 4:50Speaker 2: in May.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Way to go, Ashley.
- 4:51Speaker 2: We're going to put you on hold to get all
- 4:52Speaker 2: your information. Hope you have a wonderful day and a
- 4:54Speaker 2: wonderful chill weekend.
- 4:56Speaker 1: All right.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Thank you. You too. Zach, you would have to try
- 4:59Speaker 2: all the bathrooms if you're going to review the bathrooms, right?
- 5:01Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 5:02Speaker 3: After he eats all that food, he's going to have
- 5:05Speaker 3: to try the bathrooms.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Ricky's the one in there filming you?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yeah, bring it on.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I'm not going in the bathroom, guys.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I think you are, Ricky. You signed up for the job.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Yeah, you have to.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Not after he eats that food.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning. This weekend is
- 5:19Speaker 3: supposed to be a little cooler here in Middle Tennessee.
- 5:21Speaker 4: We are all very excited about it.
- 5:23Speaker 3: And Zach has a few things that you can get into.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Yeah, if you're anything like our very own Ricky Sanchez
- 5:28Speaker 5: and you're very excited for Halloween, this is perfect for
- 5:31Speaker 5: you because Rutherford Parent Fall Kids Fest is happening tomorrow
- 5:37Speaker 5: at the Avenue in Murfreesboro. So it's a completely free
- 5:40Speaker 5: event with trick-or-treating, carnival games, inflatables, face painting, live performances.
- 5:46Speaker 5: And so there's going to be like 40 different local
- 5:48Speaker 5: vendor booths. You can go decorate pumpkins while supplies last.
- 5:52Speaker 5: There's a parade.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Cool.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I love a parade.
- 5:55Speaker 1: We can tell.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Zach wants to be on a parade float.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I do so bad. I want to be the Grand Marshal. Okay.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Anyways, that's happening tomorrow at the Avenue in Murfreesboro is
- 6:06Speaker 5: the Parent Fall Kids Fest happening from 10 a.m.
- 6:09Speaker 2: To 2 p.m.
- 6:10Speaker 3: You said live performances?
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yes, it's live performances and demonstrations.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Ooh, what are they demonstrating?
- 6:16Speaker 2: You got to go to find out.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Also, I feel like this is so interesting.
- 6:20Speaker 5: The Native American Indian Association of Tennessee is presenting the
- 6:24Speaker 5: 45th Annual Indian Education Tennessee Pow Wow. So you can
- 6:28Speaker 5: learn all about the history of the Native Americans and
- 6:30Speaker 5: go to Long Hunter State Park. It's all week long.
- 6:34Speaker 5: It's today, tomorrow, and Sunday. Gates open at 9 a.m.
- 6:37Speaker 5: It's a three-day festival where you go and it features dancing, storytelling,
- 6:43Speaker 5: arts and crafts, and Native American food. So they said
- 6:47Speaker 5: like Indian tacos, chili, fry bread.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Yeah, fry bread.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I've never heard of fry bread before.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 6:54Speaker 4: It's a really big thing in the Native American culture.
- 6:56Speaker 2: All you had to do was say bread, and I'm interested.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Very solid point.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Can't believe there's a bread you haven't had.
- 7:02Speaker 5: So that's all weekend long at Long Hunter State Park.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Gates open at 9 a.m.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Every day.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really cool to learn about the history here.
- 7:10Speaker 5: And then also, you guys, I don't know why they
- 7:12Speaker 5: picked me of all people, but I'm going to be
- 7:14Speaker 5: a celebrity judge on Sunday. It is at East Nashville
- 7:18Speaker 5: Beer Works on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. And
- 7:21Speaker 5: it's for a nonprofit organization called Grace and Glory. And
- 7:24Speaker 5: they're like building schools in Haiti.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Okay, but what are you a celebrity judge of?
- 7:28Speaker 2: It is a lip sync battle. Okay. Yeah. So they're
- 7:33Speaker 2: doing a lip sync battle at East Nashville Beer Works.
- 7:35Speaker 2: You can go. It's completely free.
- 7:37Speaker 5: And so I'm going to be a celebrity judge alongside
- 7:39Speaker 5: of Carrie.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Sharp from Channel 5. Cool. Cute.
- 7:42Speaker 5: So her and I are celebrity judges. And it's all
- 7:44Speaker 5: a fundraiser for Grace and Glory so that they can
- 7:47Speaker 5: build more schools in Haiti. Right now they have over
- 7:49Speaker 5: 300 students in one of the schools that they built,
- 7:51Speaker 5: which is really cool. So yeah, that's Sunday from 5
- 7:55Speaker 5: to 8, East Nashville Beer Works. I'm going to be
- 7:57Speaker 5: there judging this lip sync battle. And there's like another
- 7:59Speaker 5: celebrity bartender competition. And it's a bunch of the teachers
- 8:03Speaker 5: throughout Wilson County.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Oh, so the teachers are getting involved too.
- 8:06Speaker 2: That's really cute. Yeah, it's really cool.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Are the teachers doing the lip sync?
- 8:09Speaker 5: Teachers, kids, anybody that goes can sign up.
- 8:12Speaker 3: It's going to be a mix of different people.
- 8:14Speaker 2: It's anybody and everybody. You just go sign up.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I already know that this guy is about to be
- 8:18Speaker 3: Simon Cowell.
- 8:19Speaker 2: What's your favorite song? Like a Beyonce song? What's your jam?
- 8:24Speaker 2: You always listen to the same song on the way
- 8:25Speaker 2: to work. It's probably Beyonce, I Was Here. So anybody
- 8:29Speaker 2: listening that wants to compete in this thing, just do
- 8:31Speaker 2: that song. You're going to win Zach over with the
- 8:33Speaker 2: song alone. Doesn't matter how.
- 8:35Speaker 3: You do it.
- 8:35Speaker 4: It would take so long to get that song down, Kev.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm just saying, try it.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Zach would be able to get it down because Zach listens.
- 8:44Speaker 4: To it every morning.
- 8:45Speaker 3: But outside of that, I don't know.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Well, that's cool. Get out there. Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy
- 8:49Speaker 2: the nice weather. Thank you, Zach.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Three things you need to know.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So let's go just after 7 o'clock. Good morning. Happy Friday.
- 8:56Speaker 2: We are going to play brand new music from Tate
- 8:58Speaker 2: McRae in a couple minutes here. But first, Ricky's got
- 8:59Speaker 2: three things you need to know presented by Marks Bain
- 9:01Speaker 2: Real Estate.
- 9:02Speaker 3: The TV series based off the book Fourth Wing has
- 9:05Speaker 3: announced their cast or at least two people that we
- 9:07Speaker 3: can expect. Three years ago, Amazon MGM Studios announced this
- 9:10Speaker 3: project was in development.
- 9:11Speaker 4: So fans have been waiting and waiting for any kind
- 9:14Speaker 4: of updates.
- 9:15Speaker 3: I can tell you that Esther McGregor and Emilio Sacraia
- 9:18Speaker 3: are going to be cast as the leads, Violet and Zayden.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Esther is best known for starring in We Were Liars.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Great show.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Great job in We Were Liars and Baby Girl. Emilio
- 9:31Speaker 3: was part of Those About to Die and is set
- 9:34Speaker 3: to appear in Netflix's One Piece, which comes out next year.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I do want to know that.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Multiple outlets have announced this casting, but neither the actors
- 9:43Speaker 3: or Amazon have made any comments about this announcement. So
- 9:46Speaker 3: it still kind of seems like they weren't ready to announce.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Maybe it leaked.
- 9:51Speaker 3: So I'm waiting to see what they have to say
- 9:52Speaker 3: about this. A massive highway closure is happening this weekend.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Please keep this in mind because it's going to be
- 9:59Speaker 3: quite the mess. there is an i-65 closure between i-40
- 10:03Speaker 3: and i-44 set to happen tonight starting at 8 p.m
- 10:06Speaker 3: and it's going to run through monday at 5 a.m
- 10:09Speaker 3: it is a full closure of i-65 in both directions
- 10:12Speaker 3: from the I-40 interchange exit 210 to near the I-440
- 10:17Speaker 3: interchange at exit 80.
- 10:19Speaker 4: So, yeah, they're doing demolition.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It's a huge project, so they have to make this
- 10:25Speaker 3: a full closure, but it's going to make getting around very,
- 10:28Speaker 3: very messy. So please plan to add additional time to
- 10:31Speaker 3: your travel. Look for alternate routes to take. Just don't
- 10:35Speaker 3: get stuck there, because obviously once you're stuck there, you're
- 10:38Speaker 3: stuck there.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Yeah, so just keep that in mind.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And a surprising new factor has become important for homebuyers.
- 10:45Speaker 3: According to USA Today, Costco has developed such a loyal
- 10:48Speaker 3: following that some people are choosing where to live based
- 10:51Speaker 3: on how close they are to a Costco store. Some
- 10:55Speaker 3: real estate agents or even adding the proximity to Costco
- 10:58Speaker 3: to listings as a huge selling point for them.
- 11:01Speaker 4: It's pretty wild.
- 11:02Speaker 3: You're giggling, but I know you both, like, you guys
- 11:05Speaker 3: love going to supermarkets, and you guys like Costco.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I'm trying to imagine living far away from a Costco,
- 11:10Speaker 2: and I would hate that.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 11:12Speaker 3: You see, you never had to think about it.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You know?
- 11:15Speaker 2: So people are.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Really thinking about it now.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Those who have suffered being so far away from a
- 11:19Speaker 3: Costco never want to do it again.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Are the three things you need to know.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky. We've got a fact on
- 11:26Speaker 2: the way. Zach's Facts is coming up. But first, brand
- 11:29Speaker 2: new music from Tate McRae on this new Music Friday.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Here's Housewife. Turn it up. New Tate on the river.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Class is in session.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Zach's Facts. Brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 11:41Speaker 3: On 107.5 The River.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Have you guys ever wondered why clams are so happy?
- 11:45Speaker 5: You know the phrase, happy as a clam?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Well, we were wondering this yesterday, and I actually know
- 11:49Speaker 3: the answer to this.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I always assumed it was because they're just like, they
- 11:53Speaker 2: have like a perma smile. Like they're just like a
- 11:55Speaker 2: clam's resting face. It's just like a smile. Well, Kevin,
- 11:58Speaker 2: that's adorable. Incorrect.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Wrong.
- 12:01Speaker 5: So the phrase originally was happy as a clam at
- 12:03Speaker 5: high water. So apparently when the water is high, tide
- 12:06Speaker 5: is high, clams are safely submerged in deep water, making
- 12:09Speaker 5: them out of reach of humans and other predators.
- 12:12Speaker 2: So they're happy because they're safe. So happy as a
- 12:14Speaker 2: clam at high water. That's the actual saying. That's the
- 12:17Speaker 2: actual saying. Yeah. It's not the perfect smile.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Nope.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It's not that.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Nope.
- 12:22Speaker 4: I don't know anyone else who thought that that was
- 12:24Speaker 4: what it was.
- 12:25Speaker 2: But here we are. Your fact of the day.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 12:30Speaker 3: On 107.5 The River.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I don't know what's coming here on Ricky's list of
- 12:35Speaker 2: embarrassing things found while helping friends move. It's 107.5 The River.
- 12:38Speaker 2: But I will say, just a PSA, if you're asking
- 12:41Speaker 2: a friend to help you move... You gotta get the
- 12:45Speaker 2: embarrassing stuff out of there. You can't just leave whatever
- 12:47Speaker 2: this is lying around for all to see. You gotta
- 12:49Speaker 2: be smart with your embarrassing items.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Or leave it because then it's something fun for them.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You know?
- 12:55Speaker 2: I like that idea.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Moving your friend can be a lot.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I don't get asked.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I think it's mostly like a guys thing. Guys ask
- 13:01Speaker 3: other guys to help them move. And girls don't really
- 13:04Speaker 3: do that. It's one positive of being a woman.
- 13:07Speaker 4: I don't get asked to do that.
- 13:09Speaker 3: But when you're moving a friend, one of the positives
- 13:10Speaker 3: can be the embarrassing things you find. So I have
- 13:13Speaker 3: a list here of some of the things people have
- 13:14Speaker 3: found while moving their friends out of their apartments or houses.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Things he stole from me.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Like shirts.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Oh.
- 13:22Speaker 2: A thief of a friend?
- 13:23Speaker 3: A thief.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Which I thought.
- 13:26Speaker 3: That that was mostly like a girl thing. Like, girls
- 13:28Speaker 3: steal each other's clothes all the time.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 3: And then pretend like they didn't.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I didn't realize that guys.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Also did it. I mean, some people are just kleptomaniacs
- 13:35Speaker 2: and they're just taking something from everybody.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Solid point.
- 13:38Speaker 2: But again, if you're asking this friend to come help
- 13:40Speaker 2: you move, why would you have their stuff just out?
- 13:41Speaker 2: You gotta be smarter.
- 13:43Speaker 4: I think they were hoping that they would forget.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 3: A stash of adult diapers and a note that said,
- 13:48Speaker 3: for emergencies only.
- 13:50Speaker 1: What?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Don't know what that's about.
- 13:53Speaker 5: I feel like if I saw that, I just would
- 13:55Speaker 5: not say a word. I wouldn't even ask any questions.
- 13:58Speaker 4: I wouldn't say a word.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I would just be like, and there's that.
- 14:01Speaker 4: I would have to.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I would be like, what are these emergencies?
- 14:03Speaker 4: Do you need them often?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Don't ask questions. You don't want the answers.
- 14:07Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 14:08Speaker 4: I want the answers. I need to know the answers
- 14:11Speaker 4: to that.
- 14:11Speaker 3: A jar full of fingernails.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 14:15Speaker 4: And then it followed up with, we don't speak anymore.
- 14:18Speaker 2: I would immediately call TLC. My strange addiction.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Like, what are you doing with these fingernails?
- 14:23Speaker 2: That's very bizarre.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Yeah, really bizarre.
- 14:26Speaker 3: And then this one says, turns out a friend of
- 14:28Speaker 3: ours carefully folds all of her underwear and arranges them
- 14:32Speaker 3: by color.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I respect that one. I kind of, I do too.
- 14:36Speaker 2: That's not that weird, I don't think. Really? I feel
- 14:39Speaker 2: like that would inspire me.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Wait, wait, wait.
- 14:41Speaker 4: You guys arrange your underwear by color?
- 14:43Speaker 2: I don't, but I want to now.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Oh.
- 14:45Speaker 4: That's a lot of work for your underwear drawer.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I don't fold them, but I roll them up. What
- 14:51Speaker 2: do you do?
- 14:52Speaker 4: Well, you guys have a lot more fabric.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Than what I have for mine.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Mine just get tossed in the drawer.
- 14:58Speaker 3: And then you pull them out one by one and
- 14:59Speaker 3: you're like, which one do I.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Want to wear today?
- 15:02Speaker 3: You try and fold my underwear and you would have
- 15:05Speaker 3: no idea what to do with it.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I'm good. I'm good. Thank you though. If you haven't
- 15:09Speaker 2: found anything in a friend's house. Mine specifically. Ricky, stop
- 15:14Speaker 2: trying to make us fold your underwear, please. It's a
- 15:16Speaker 2: family show.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I realized how weird that sounded after I said it.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 15:23Speaker 3: It's Kevin Mano's Game of the Day on 107.5 The River.
- 15:26Speaker 3: We're playing a classic topical trivia for tickets to see
- 15:29Speaker 3: Matt Reif at Bridgestone Arena on the 24th.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Anna in Murfreesboro is on the telephone right now. What's
- 15:35Speaker 2: going on, Anna?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 15:38Speaker 3: How are you?
- 15:39Speaker 2: What are you doing on this Friday morning? You headed
- 15:41Speaker 2: to work? Yeah, I'm driving. Zach is going to guess
- 15:45Speaker 2: what you do for a living. Zach, go ahead. I
- 15:47Speaker 2: feel like... Um, you're an accountant.
- 15:52Speaker 3: No.
- 15:55Speaker 2: What do you do, Anna?
- 15:56Speaker 3: I clean houses.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Amazing, yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 2: You ever steal anything? Don't answer that. We'll talk about that.
- 16:02Speaker 2: What the hell was that about? I'm just curious. Oh, man.
- 16:05Speaker 3: You'd be surprised what I see sometimes.
- 16:07Speaker 2: What's the craziest thing you've seen?
- 16:09Speaker 3: A little tiny house that had 30 cats.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Oh, 30 cats?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, literally. There was like a list of their names
- 16:16Speaker 3: on our refrigerator. Oh, my God. That's insane.
- 16:19Speaker 4: If you need to have a list of your cats' names,
- 16:21Speaker 4: there's an issue there.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Probably not the easiest house to clean. Before I started
- 16:25Speaker 2: my business, but I would not ever do that ever again.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yeah, no.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Anna it's been lovely getting to know you but we
- 16:32Speaker 2: should probably play the game for these Matt Rife tickets
- 16:35Speaker 2: here you gotta get two out of three of these
- 16:37Speaker 2: questions right topical trivia is the game and Anna it
- 16:40Speaker 2: starts right now currently number one in the country what
- 16:46Speaker 2: is the name of the new horror movie starring Jessica
- 16:49Speaker 2: Chastain horror movie fitting Halloween what is it.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Um I have no idea.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Are we with Michael Myers? No, it is not Michael Myers.
- 17:05Speaker 2: That'd be Halloween. This is called Other Mommy.
- 17:08Speaker 4: And it looks really creepy.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I did see that. I saw the commercial
- 17:13Speaker 2: for that.
- 17:13Speaker 4: That's okay, Anna. You're still in the game.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Still good to go here. You need the next two.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Riley Green and Queen Latifah currently star together on what
- 17:21Speaker 2: competition show? The Voice. Nice job. Still alive. You get
- 17:30Speaker 2: this one, you win. You don't, we say goodbye. At
- 17:33Speaker 2: the beginning of the month, earlier this month, a brand
- 17:36Speaker 2: new music venue opened in Nashville in the Wedgwood, Houston area.
- 17:39Speaker 2: What is that venue called?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am. Oh, my God.
- 17:43Speaker 3: We got Anna. Yay.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I was not confident after that first one, but you
- 17:49Speaker 2: really did. Well, I don't know. I don't know. I
- 17:52Speaker 2: was just nervous, but you did it.
- 17:53Speaker 3: People prey on your downfall, Anna, and you come out
- 17:55Speaker 3: on top.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Yay.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Way to go.
- 17:58Speaker 2: You're going to see Matt Rife very soon, the 24th
- 18:01Speaker 2: at Bridgestone. Congratulations. Yay.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 18:04Speaker 3: We're excited for you, love.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Hang on the line. We got to get your info.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I actually went to The Truth last night, and it's
- 18:09Speaker 2: a really cool venue. What did you see last night?
- 18:12Speaker 4: The Chicks.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Oh, you haven't even brought that up this morning.
- 18:14Speaker 1: How was it?
- 18:15Speaker 2: They were fantastic. I loved them. I cried.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Let's go, let's go, let's go. And it's just after
- 18:21Speaker 2: 8 o'clock. Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark
- 18:23Speaker 2: Spain Real Estate.
- 18:24Speaker 4: I'm real pumped about this.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Hulu has ordered director Ryan Coogler's X-Files series. So, you
- 18:30Speaker 3: know Ryan Coogler for directing amazing movies like Sinners and
- 18:34Speaker 3: Black Panther. He's been working on a reimagined X-Files series
- 18:37Speaker 3: for years and it's finally been greenlit.
- 18:40Speaker 4: I'm so pumped.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Very cool.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Danielle Deadweiler and Hamish Patel will star in the series
- 18:48Speaker 3: as FBI directors. No word on their names, but obviously
- 18:51Speaker 3: it seems like they're going to take the place of
- 18:53Speaker 3: Dana and Fox. The X-Files originally ran from 1993 to 2002.
- 18:56Speaker 3: And Ryan said that they've worked hard to honor the
- 19:02Speaker 3: original series with the new one as they reimagine it.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I cannot wait to see how they kind of like
- 19:09Speaker 3: make this work for modern times, you know, what they
- 19:11Speaker 3: end up doing. Let's see who ends up making pop-up
- 19:14Speaker 3: appearances in the series as well.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I'm just beyond pumped.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Banana Ball is coming back to Nashville again. The Banana Ball,
- 19:22Speaker 3: or Banana Bowl, the Banana Bowl championship game is coming
- 19:27Speaker 3: to the new Nissan Stadium. It's set for September 25th
- 19:30Speaker 3: of next year. And just like all their games, you
- 19:33Speaker 3: have to be part of a ticket lottery. So to
- 19:35Speaker 3: get on the list, you have until October 31st to
- 19:37Speaker 3: get your name in it for these tickets.
- 19:40Speaker 4: You got to go to their website. Obviously... better chances.
- 19:44Speaker 3: This time around of getting these tickets because it's a
- 19:46Speaker 3: bigger stage that they'll be on. Last, time that they
- 19:50Speaker 3: were here, you went to the game, right, Zach?
- 19:52Speaker 2: I did go, yeah. It was actually really, really fun.
- 19:55Speaker 4: It was a much smaller amount of people that could go.
- 19:57Speaker 2: So you have a.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Better chance of getting in.
- 19:59Speaker 4: You got to get in quick.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Do it before October 31st.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Obviously a big deal.
- 20:03Speaker 4: It's so cool to see how this has grown into
- 20:05Speaker 4: such like a phenomenon.
- 20:08Speaker 3: And Chipotle. They have a new takeout bag that's almost
- 20:11Speaker 3: the size of me. Their limited edition version is three
- 20:15Speaker 3: feet wide. I'm 4'11, so this is legitimately almost the
- 20:19Speaker 3: size of me.
- 20:19Speaker 4: I'm not exaggerating.
- 20:20Speaker 3: You could probably put me in the bag and carry
- 20:23Speaker 3: me around. The bag holds 170 liters. And it's part
- 20:27Speaker 3: of a promotion for Chipotle's family meals, which serves four
- 20:30Speaker 3: to six people. Rewards members who order a family meal
- 20:33Speaker 3: can enter to win one. And there is also a
- 20:35Speaker 3: no purchase entry option online as well.
- 20:38Speaker 4: You can't buy them. You have to win them.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 20:42Speaker 3: need to know.
- 20:42Speaker 2: How many liters do you think you are? Like, how
- 20:45Speaker 2: do we do that math?
- 20:47Speaker 3: I don't know how you would convert pounds to liters.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I need a smart person to call us and tell
- 20:52Speaker 2: us how many liters Ricky is. Zach's Googling it. Okay,
- 20:55Speaker 2: we're going to get to.
- 20:56Speaker 1: The bottom of this.
- 20:56Speaker 2: We're going to see if Ricky can fit in that
- 20:58Speaker 2: Chipotle bag.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Can you convert pounds to liters?
- 21:00Speaker 2: We're going to figure it out. I'm trying.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I'm trying.
- 21:02Speaker 3: The guy over here is just using Google AI overview.
- 21:05Speaker 2: We've got our best people on it.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Zach is on it. Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 21:11Speaker 3: On 107.5 The River.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Brand new music from Tate McRae. It's called Housewife on
- 21:15Speaker 2: this new music Friday on The River. We did the math.
- 21:20Speaker 2: We did the conversion. And Ricky is 77.8 liters is
- 21:22Speaker 2: what we found out. Yep.
- 21:25Speaker 3: You can convert pounds to liters. Did not know that
- 21:28Speaker 3: that was even an option.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Such a weird thing. If you missed it, Chipotle released
- 21:31Speaker 2: this enormous bag, and yes, Ricky can easily fit in
- 21:34Speaker 2: the bag.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Yes, I can.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Now everybody knows you can stop wondering.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Cat's Eye Animal, it's the river. It's time for the leftovers.
- 21:45Speaker 2: On Fridays, we take conversations, topics, subjects that we just
- 21:50Speaker 2: didn't have time for this week, and we each get
- 21:52Speaker 2: 30 seconds to cram them in, and it's all spooky
- 21:55Speaker 2: season related today. Ricky, would you like to go first?
- 21:58Speaker 4: I love this.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Can we make every one of these spooky season related?
- 22:01Speaker 1: No.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I'm not opposed to.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Oh, okay, no. Wow.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Okay, so split decision.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Anyway, I'm going to tell you the new spooky scary
- 22:07Speaker 3: movies that you have to watch this season. I love
- 22:09Speaker 3: me a scary movie. I spent some time over the
- 22:12Speaker 3: weekend catching up on spooky stuff that I haven't seen yet.
- 22:16Speaker 4: So some suggestions.
- 22:17Speaker 3: I saw Obsession a while back. You got to watch
- 22:20Speaker 3: Obsession if you haven't. And right now, being spooky season
- 22:23Speaker 3: is the perfect time to watch it.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I also.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Finally watched Back Rooms. Kevin's been begging me to watch
- 22:30Speaker 3: it for so long. I finally watched it. And it's
- 22:34Speaker 3: really good. I do recommend that one for sure. That
- 22:37Speaker 3: one's spooky and scary.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Two different ways.
- 22:40Speaker 3: So psychologically scary and also scary.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Because there's moments that you will actually like jump, you know?
- 22:46Speaker 2: I love a jump scare.
- 22:47Speaker 4: And then Holcomb is the other one that I suggest.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Oh, with Adam Scott.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
- 22:52Speaker 4: With our boss.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Our boss shot of the Reminders of Adam Scott.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Jonathan looks identical to Adam Scott, but Adam Scott's in it.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And I wasn't sure how I was going to feel
- 22:59Speaker 3: about this because when I think.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Of him, I don't think of horror.
- 23:02Speaker 3: And I didn't know how he was going to do
- 23:04Speaker 3: in this movie per se.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Very good.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Highly recommend it. Definitely watch Hokum as well. So those
- 23:09Speaker 3: are three that you can get to so that you
- 23:11Speaker 3: can really get in the spooky spirit.
- 23:13Speaker 4: The pookie season.
- 23:13Speaker 2: The pookie season.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Hey, pookie.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Good suggestions. Thank you, Ricky. Watch it with your pookie.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Zach is up next. More Halloween-themed leftovers.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Yeah, if you want to be the hit of the neighborhood,
- 23:25Speaker 5: I have some suggestions on how to make your house
- 23:27Speaker 5: a trick-or-treat favorite. So it says, keep decorations bright and welcoming.
- 23:32Speaker 5: People want to feel like they're going to a party
- 23:34Speaker 5: and they're part of the activity instead of just another
- 23:36Speaker 5: door to knock on. So it says like lights, pumpkins, cobwebs,
- 23:40Speaker 5: make it a fun seasonal display.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I thought this one was so interesting. It's don't forget
- 23:45Speaker 2: the adults.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Offer like water, coffee, hot cocoa, or even like a
- 23:49Speaker 5: place to sit.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Wine. Or a beer. Wine. Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Give them a place to sit so that they can
- 23:54Speaker 5: like relax a little bit.
- 23:55Speaker 2: They're tired parents or kids are running around.
- 23:57Speaker 5: So it says give them a place to hang out
- 23:59Speaker 5: for a minute instead of following their kids around all
- 24:02Speaker 5: night long. And then also it says offer non-candy options too.
- 24:06Speaker 5: So like glow sticks, stickers, other things instead of just candy.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Because a lot of kids have dietary restrictions.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Like I'm gluten free. There's a lot of candies that
- 24:16Speaker 4: I can't eat. So a sticker would be great.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 2: So there's a lot of different options that you can
- 24:19Speaker 2: do if you want to be the hit of the neighborhood.
- 24:21Speaker 5: I like it.
- 24:21Speaker 2: And those are just a few. Those are great. Finally,
- 24:24Speaker 2: I also have... horror movie uh horror movies to talk
- 24:28Speaker 2: about in my leftovers it is the scariest movies of
- 24:31Speaker 2: all time according to science they took test subjects they
- 24:34Speaker 2: were fitted with heart rate monitors and their vitals are
- 24:36Speaker 2: tracked throughout each movie they've been doing this for a
- 24:38Speaker 2: while they do it every year and the 2026 results
- 24:41Speaker 2: here the top five Scariest movies according to science. The
- 24:45Speaker 2: Conjuring at number five.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Insidious at number four. Okay. Skinnamarink at number three. That's
- 24:52Speaker 2: a Canadian movie that came out in 2022. I've never
- 24:55Speaker 2: heard of it either. A movie called Host. which came
- 24:59Speaker 2: out in 2020. That's a British movie. I looked it up.
- 25:01Speaker 2: It's got 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.
- 25:03Speaker 1: What? Wow.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so people like this movie, and it's apparently extremely scary. Okay.
- 25:07Speaker 2: And number one, according to science, is Sinister. The movie
- 25:10Speaker 2: Sinister came out in 2012.
- 25:11Speaker 3: So it seems like a lot of what people get
- 25:14Speaker 3: really scared about are things that have to do with, like.
- 25:17Speaker 4: spirits and paranormal.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Stuff which makes sense because that's what really freaks me out.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Too lower on the list you've got you know classics
- 25:24Speaker 2: like halloween the exorcist the ring right chainsaw massacre but
- 25:27Speaker 2: these are the top five scariest movies of all time
- 25:31Speaker 2: according to science i think i'm gonna go watch the host.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I literally am looking up where i can watch it
- 25:36Speaker 3: now at this point because i want to watch it.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Too i know you got to see it there you
- 25:39Speaker 2: go those are our.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Leftovers 107.5 The River.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Every day about this time, we play some audio from
- 25:45Speaker 2: a video that one of us finds. Ricky found this one.
- 25:48Speaker 2: It's the daily double tap on The River. And it's
- 25:50Speaker 2: two of her favorite people, Amy Poehler and Marcelo Hernandez.
- 25:54Speaker 4: I love them both so much. And them together was fantastic.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Her episode of them, I loved it. I loved every
- 25:59Speaker 4: second of it.
- 26:00Speaker 3: But this specific piece felt very relatable. And I think
- 26:04Speaker 3: other people are going to understand that there are people
- 26:07Speaker 3: in your life who thrive off doing this one thing.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Okay, here it is. Looking in the eyes of someone
- 26:13Speaker 2: who's trying to work, who you are not letting to work,
- 26:19Speaker 2: the frustration, it brings me joy in a way that's dark.
- 26:24Speaker 5: I feel like that's Ricky and I with Kevin every morning.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Kevin's trying to be serious and we're not at all.
- 26:31Speaker 3: We are definitely the less serious of the three, that's
- 26:34Speaker 3: for sure. I was going to say specifically you though, Zach.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Me?
- 26:39Speaker 3: Because you love, I also love how you're pretending to
- 26:41Speaker 3: be shocked by this.
- 26:42Speaker 4: I'm not pretending.
- 26:44Speaker 3: You love bopping around to different people and just sitting
- 26:46Speaker 3: in their offices and they're clearly trying to do things
- 26:49Speaker 3: and you're like, you know, I'm really hungry and I
- 26:51Speaker 3: wonder if Taco Bell will deliver at this time. And
- 26:54Speaker 3: you'll just go and go and go and I'm like, oh,
- 26:56Speaker 3: he's getting.
- 26:56Speaker 4: A thrill out of this.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I just like to fraternize with my friends, okay?
- 27:00Speaker 4: But that's what I'm saying. This reminds me of you.
