- 1:48Speaker 1: pushing your vision forward.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Well, Oprah, you know she's been a thing where she's
- 1:54Speaker 2: very influential obviously, and you know her. Wait, it's been
- 1:57Speaker 2: an issue for thirty years, and it's up and down.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It's been up and down, up and down. And she
- 2:03Speaker 2: she was a weight Watchers Brandon Bastard. I don't if
- 2:06Speaker 2: she had equity or not, but you know she weight watches.
- 2:09Speaker 2: When you thought the weight Watches, you thought of Oprah
- 2:11Speaker 2: for years. And recently she lost a lot of weight
- 2:14Speaker 2: and she was looking very slim, and she announced a
- 2:19Speaker 2: few days ago that she is no longer with weight
- 2:21Speaker 2: Watchers since their stock plummeting. The stock dropped so much
- 2:26Speaker 2: that they actually had the report to the SEC. That's
- 2:30Speaker 2: how much influence. That's how much influence that she had.
- 2:34Speaker 2: She said that her weight loss has because she started
- 2:38Speaker 2: to take a weight loss pill, which everybody that's the
- 2:41Speaker 2: wave weight loss pills of the wave right now, Oh,
- 2:45Speaker 2: Septic and a bunch of other ones.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Fire.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's moving like blue tops out there was moving
- 2:55Speaker 3: so magic blue magic for sure.
- 2:59Speaker 2: So as as one person's uh downfalls, another person's uprising.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 2: So, and there's opportunities in every crisis. So there's a
- 3:13Speaker 2: crisis in America when it comes to.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Obesity.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Childhood obesity is at record breaking levels. I think they
- 3:21Speaker 2: said one out of every three children in the US
- 3:24Speaker 2: is an obese now. And adult obesity is I don't
- 3:29Speaker 2: even know what it is, but it's it's bad.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Staggering contributes to that.
- 3:34Speaker 3: That's a fact for sure. So but that's a crisis.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So there's opportunity in that crisis, right, And these weight
- 3:41Speaker 2: loss pills are just moving off the shelves and the
- 3:45Speaker 2: companies that are supplying these weight loss medications stocks has
- 3:51Speaker 2: been going crazy. And Lily Eli Lily, Lily, the one
- 3:58Speaker 2: that you know talking about for a long time. Ian
- 4:00Speaker 2: has always talked about Eli Lily. His stock has I
- 4:03Speaker 2: think they up one hundred and fifty percent for this year,
- 4:07Speaker 2: that over seven hundred, like seven eighty or something like that.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Right now, analysts call for analysts saying that they're gonna
- 4:14Speaker 2: reach a thousand dollars. They're gonna be the next thousand
- 4:16Speaker 2: dollars stock and they're not the only one. So this
- 4:22Speaker 2: is this for an investor because when I saw it,
- 4:25Speaker 2: I saw it on Today's show. When I saw the news,
- 4:28Speaker 2: the first thing I thought about was Eli Lilly and
- 4:29Speaker 2: weight loss drugs. I'm like, oh, this is great news
- 4:32Speaker 2: for these weight loss drugs. So for people that's looking
- 4:36Speaker 2: for the next big thing, all signs would point to
- 4:40Speaker 2: weight loss medication booming. They said it's gonna beome one
- 4:44Speaker 2: hundred million dollar operation, and I think it's going to
- 4:46Speaker 2: be even more because I don't see people starting to
- 4:49Speaker 2: eat healthy, They're only eating worse.
- 4:51Speaker 3: People are just eating worse now.
- 4:53Speaker 4: The companies are only making worse food.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Can we be honest? And that was part of what
- 4:59Speaker 3: was that's part when she.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Was saying Pool companies are in crap.
- 5:03Speaker 1: She was saying that obesity is a disease.
- 5:06Speaker 3: It's a choice too. There's a choice. You know, we
- 5:09Speaker 3: have to take some level. I hear what you saying,
- 5:11Speaker 3: we have to take some level.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I'm just saying what and because it was interesting, right,
- 5:14Speaker 1: if the weight loss drugs has become something that is
- 5:19Speaker 1: prominent and communicate.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Everywhere, Right, you see it everywhere able the past two
- 5:22Speaker 3: to three years.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Right, but how long did it open and have these
- 5:26Speaker 1: pills far greater than the public would know?
- 5:29Speaker 4: Right, I'm not sure, but I'll say this would and
- 5:32Speaker 4: I put that on onto Oprah jacket.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I'll say this.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I'll say this, we have to take some responsibility as
- 5:40Speaker 2: a society because when a lot of us are making
- 5:43Speaker 2: conscious decisions to feed ourselves cancer. If you still eat
- 5:48Speaker 2: McDonald's in twenty twenty four and you are an adult,
- 5:51Speaker 2: if you're over the age of twenty five and you're
- 5:53Speaker 2: eating McDonald's, I don't knock you. I don't knock you.
- 5:57Speaker 2: But it's similar to smoking cigarettes, right, similar like if
- 6:00Speaker 2: you smoke cigarettes, I don't I don't knock somebody that's
- 6:02Speaker 2: smoking cigarettes. But you're making a conscious decision that it's
- 6:05Speaker 2: a very high probability that you're gonna get canceled.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Mm hmmm.
- 6:10Speaker 3: It's proven. It's been proven. So if if you make it,
- 6:13Speaker 3: if you are gonna talk about Zucker work, you're not
- 6:16Speaker 3: if you make a conscious decision to eat a double
- 6:19Speaker 3: he raised his hand finished, But whatever, mc donald if
- 6:25Speaker 3: you're making it's a poor health decision.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You're making a conscious decision to go in there. His
- 6:32Speaker 2: consequences that come with that. Yeah, we can't always just
- 6:35Speaker 2: blame somebody else. We got to take some self accountability here.
- 6:39Speaker 1: So that was what that was the other side of it, right,
- 6:42Speaker 1: Like if somebody has a disease, it's almost like alcoholism
- 6:44Speaker 1: is a disease, right, Like, yes, you're making a conscious
- 6:47Speaker 1: decision to drink or consume, but there.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Are parts of it's a disease. To make you want
- 6:54Speaker 3: to eat McDonald's, that's a disease.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm not saying McDonald's specifically, but I'm saying unhealthy choices
- 6:58Speaker 1: when you when you're consuming food.
- 7:00Speaker 3: There's a disease to make you want to have fast food,
- 7:04Speaker 3: that's unhealthy choices of what I'm saying. Okay, yeah, all right,
- 7:10Speaker 3: but see somebody just put that it's an addiction.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, camaraderie and not messing with broadcasts and learning.
- 7:19Speaker 4: If that's the case, is the wealth gap a choice,
- 7:22Speaker 4: because that's a systemic issue that's been going on for
- 7:25Speaker 4: three hundred years by design. For you Dodos who said
- 7:28Speaker 4: if black people just picked themselves up by the books,
- 7:30Speaker 4: straps and invest it, ain't that fucking simple. So the
- 7:36Speaker 4: same fashion. If the food industry by design is in
- 7:40Speaker 4: tandem with the drug administration. If I tell you food
- 7:46Speaker 4: that makes you sick and then y'all sell, ain't that
- 7:50Speaker 4: a cartel?
- 7:52Speaker 3: For sure? Yes?
- 7:54Speaker 4: Because the food even when we go to London, people
- 7:56Speaker 4: are like, yo, this food playing. I'm like, no, this
- 7:57Speaker 4: for food tastes like without all the chemicals in it.
- 8:00Speaker 3: That's what I said.
- 8:00Speaker 1: When they had Zuckerberg, he was Ian McDonald's out the country.
- 8:03Speaker 1: He said, it's five star, four star mescheling.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Well, I don't know about forestarch, That's what he said.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Giving a fruit, even fruit is contaminated, so you can't
- 8:12Speaker 2: you can't escape in America. You can't escape it. But
- 8:14Speaker 2: I'm just saying. All I'm saying is that there are
- 8:18Speaker 2: some conscious decisions that we can do better as a
- 8:21Speaker 2: society that's all chili chili. If you're still eating chili, cheese,
- 8:25Speaker 2: fries and hot dogs and get your it's probably not
- 8:34Speaker 2: the best. That's probably not the best way to go
- 8:36Speaker 2: about it.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's all. Yeah, you said we have to be more empathetic.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I'm being I'm being very imp I'm empathizing.
- 8:44Speaker 1: With the people who have an addiction.
- 8:45Speaker 3: That's what I'm doing.
- 8:47Speaker 4: And if the additives and the MSG causes the addiction
- 8:53Speaker 4: because of a lot, there's no charge.
- 8:55Speaker 3: It's a tough battle. It's a tough battle. Well, let's
- 8:58Speaker 3: talk about how you can make money off this situation,
- 9:00Speaker 3: shall we? Yes? As I mentioned before, Yes, and that's
- 9:06Speaker 3: the chat.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Uh. Novo n v O.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Let's talk about Novo because we haven't talked about them
- 9:11Speaker 2: a lot. We talked about Eli Lily a lot. But Novo.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Let's talk about Novo.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah, great company.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Because Novo actually.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Makes os Epic is the leading wagabi so data manufacturers
- 9:27Speaker 2: of this.
- 9:27Speaker 1: So they have the number one and number three weight
- 9:30Speaker 1: loss drug so Majur, which is what Eli Lily makes.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That wasn't even a weight loss drug, right, so everybody
- 9:36Speaker 1: has a historical context with it, right, that was for diabetes.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Uh.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Then they're drug that they're actually making specifically for weight
- 9:42Speaker 1: loss is zet pound.
- 9:43Speaker 3: So that's where it's like.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Okay, these four drugs, they're gonna run the market. I
- 9:50Speaker 1: don't know if there's gonna be another four.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Is a lot of the weight loss Go with the
- 9:56Speaker 3: top four. Keep it simple.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Those are the top four products. There's two companies that
- 10:00Speaker 1: are making them.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Stay right there.
- 10:02Speaker 2: So no Vogue actually has an advantage over over when
- 10:05Speaker 2: it comes to this particular subject because they have.
- 10:07Speaker 4: A particular Yeah. But but overall no, but yeah.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Overall, but in the weight loss pill.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Market, they they are the champs because oz Epic, I
- 10:18Speaker 1: mean most people, they're like the medayin.
- 10:21Speaker 3: When people think that's the first thing you think is opic.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Medaine in Colombia and uh Cali cartels. Yeah, similar, they
- 10:31Speaker 2: the only ones moving. They got the strongest, they got
- 10:34Speaker 2: the best product on the block.
- 10:35Speaker 1: And it's only getting better assets and they are going
- 10:38Speaker 1: they're only going to have more.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Customer So what's what's the outlook for investing in these companies?
- 10:45Speaker 4: I love them both. If you put them together, I
- 10:47Speaker 4: always say invest in the top two in the sector.
- 10:51Speaker 4: No Vo operating margin it's forty three percent. Absolutely amazing revenues, amazing.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Returnal equity is seventy three point two percent, return on
- 11:02Speaker 4: assets is twenty four percent.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Great job.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Like you said, they own the number one and number
- 11:09Speaker 4: three and then Eli Lilly in combination. If you put
- 11:12Speaker 4: them to together, Eli Lily profit margin is fifteen percent.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Institutional ownership is eighty four percent, which is a great sign,
- 11:19Speaker 4: and return on equity is forty seven percent. So my
- 11:22Speaker 4: only concern is who is going to be the first
- 11:24Speaker 4: to have a recall. And it's said there's some hard
- 11:26Speaker 4: side effects to these drugs. So the first one that says, hey,
- 11:30Speaker 4: you got to get your lower intestine and removed if
- 11:31Speaker 4: you use it for longer than three years won't be
- 11:34Speaker 4: favorable and there'll be a short on one of these stocks.
- 11:37Speaker 4: But in the interim, No Vote and Lily are the
- 11:41Speaker 4: dream team in this weight loss space. Doctor Miami, you
- 11:44Speaker 4: are in trouble weight Watchers. You are in trouble most
- 11:48Speaker 4: companies that are selling nutritional value. And if we can
- 11:52Speaker 4: be honest about Weight Watchers, it is a classic case
- 11:55Speaker 4: of having a great promise but an inferior product.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Something you said something that was insightful you said something
- 12:03Speaker 2: that was extremely insightful because I've spoken to some people
- 12:06Speaker 2: that's taking these medications, and every single person that I
- 12:09Speaker 2: spoke to had negative side effects.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Every single person horrible effects.
- 12:13Speaker 2: So at some point, potentially right who knows, they could
- 12:19Speaker 2: be a class action lawsuit, they could be. It's still
- 12:21Speaker 2: new too. We don't know the long term side effects.
- 12:24Speaker 2: So even investing in these companies is like, all it's
- 12:26Speaker 2: going crazy. It's going up right now, but it could
- 12:29Speaker 2: be like the tobacco industry in ten years when all
- 12:31Speaker 2: of these side effects really start to come out.
- 12:34Speaker 3: If they do, I'm not saying that they will.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I was in the constipation of dominant pain, blur, vision, bloating, headache,
- 12:39Speaker 4: rapid heartbeat, heartburn, gall bladder issue, kidney disease, thyroid cancer, disneyness, diarrhea.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And with all that being said, it's like a god
- 12:50Speaker 1: of water. People are signing up every day to get it.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Because of the results, well, somebody to be removed.
- 12:57Speaker 2: The alternative is that you're going to die of obesity,
- 12:59Speaker 2: or you're going to have high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol,
- 13:03Speaker 2: you're going to have to be on dialysis. So it's like,
- 13:06Speaker 2: you know, trade off. I guess you know one of
- 13:09Speaker 2: these things. Would you rather be morbally obesto? Would you
- 13:12Speaker 2: rather have diarrhea?
- 13:15Speaker 3: I think they're gonna take that area. I mean they're
- 13:17Speaker 3: gonna take the.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Do fifty parts of why merrits is Dodo.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Shout real quick.
- 13:27Speaker 5: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 13:31Speaker 5: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 13:35Speaker 5: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 13:39Speaker 5: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 13:43Speaker 5: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 13:47Speaker 5: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christine Noman, the United States
- 13:50Speaker 5: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 13:55Speaker 5: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 13:59Speaker 5: one hundred thousand and illegal aliens have been arrested. If
- 14:02Speaker 5: you are here illegally, your next you will be fine
- 14:06Speaker 5: nearly one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you
- 14:10Speaker 5: will never return. But if you register using our CBP
- 14:13Speaker 5: home app and leave now, you could be allowed to
- 14:16Speaker 5: return legally. Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump
- 14:21Speaker 5: America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
