- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:05Speaker 2: On air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: And here we go. I thought about you guys over
- 0:15Speaker 1: the weekend. Well, thank you. Well, what what would you
- 0:22Speaker 1: put on your tombstone? And that's why you guys popped
- 0:25Speaker 1: into my head.
- 0:26Speaker 2: You think about death and then you think about us.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Well not really, I was thinking about which one of
- 0:30Speaker 1: you would get my eulogy. So let me back up.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Over the weekend, somebody said to me, you are playfully impatient,
- 0:40Speaker 1: and I thought, you know what, that is great for
- 0:43Speaker 1: my tombstone. It's not every day you hear the perfect
- 0:47Speaker 1: two words you playfully impatient. He was a good guy,
- 0:52Speaker 1: perfect for the tombstone.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Why do you have to take it to the tombstone?
- 0:55Speaker 3: Why can't it be like for your dating app?
- 0:59Speaker 1: Well, I I guess that didn't cross my mind because
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't have a dating app, but I will inevitably
- 1:04Speaker 1: have a tombstone.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Well, it could be like your Instagram bio. Like that's cute,
- 1:08Speaker 4: too cheek, So you.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Think that would be real. That's a good marketing line. Yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 1: playfully impatient? Is that an attractive thing to be? Playfully?
- 1:17Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:17Speaker 4: Playfully anything is like great.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, but impatience is not great.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I think impatience is very attractive quality.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't hate it's not given. It's not marketed.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Well, it's an impatient woman, it's not marketed.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Yeah, you would, Yes, I would. You think you both
- 1:34Speaker 6: would align with your You would.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Align with the fact that we'd like things to not
- 1:38Speaker 1: take so long in life.
- 1:40Speaker 4: And so I feel like I has dated a lot
- 1:42Speaker 4: of imp.
- 1:44Speaker 6: No, I don't get that vibe from any of the
- 1:46Speaker 6: girls that you did.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I appreciate both of you saying what you're saying. And
- 1:50Speaker 1: I also think Tony, you hit the nail on the head.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Impatience has had a bad marketing campaign. Yes, because it's
- 1:58Speaker 1: really about diligence. Impatience is diligent, impatience is prepared, impatience
- 2:03Speaker 1: is impatience is punctual.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yes, And the perception that we've been given, that we've
- 2:07Speaker 3: been fed for many, many years is impatient is the
- 2:10Speaker 3: opposite of all.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I think I've found my calling. I need to be
- 2:13Speaker 1: the pr person for impatience.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yes, yes, you can trademarkt.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Oh gosh, did I miss this whole thing? Tubbs, idn't
- 2:22Speaker 1: want to give you a hug now, you don't know
- 2:25Speaker 1: the guys you didn't have to put into AI my
- 2:27Speaker 1: tombstill literally no, yeah, did you put in? They put
- 2:32Speaker 1: Ryan Secrets nineteen seventy four to twenty question question No,
- 2:37Speaker 1: who knows longevity?
- 2:38Speaker 4: I might get to thirty something.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Oh no, that'd be twenty one.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Weren't you born in nineteen seventy five?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Maybe one hundred and twenty six? To not pass away
- 2:47Speaker 1: in this mark, you don't know what science is doing.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It's all exponential. I was born in nineteen seventy four.
- 2:54Speaker 2: You were thought it was five.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Well, if you do the math, December that's what throws
- 2:58Speaker 1: me off, is the December. All right, let's get into
- 3:02Speaker 1: it mostly kaudy today. High's in the mid seventies, paying
- 3:06Speaker 1: your bills next to kiss Lions roses later, playfully impatient.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Let's be that today. Let's get things done, all right.
- 3:14Speaker 1: So I mentioned this, Gosha. I guess it was a
- 3:16Speaker 1: last week that I mentioned this. But we're talking about
- 3:18Speaker 1: giving all that free gas that we're having so much
- 3:19Speaker 1: fun given away. EJ Chew even out all over southern
- 3:22Speaker 1: California with free gas, free gas Friday we had on Friday,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and with the prices going up and a lot of
- 3:29Speaker 1: stuff you kind of want to find best value when
- 3:32Speaker 1: you can burgers, cheese, burgers, and fries. This might surprise you,
- 3:37Speaker 1: but I was looking at the comparison of here's the equation,
- 3:41Speaker 1: trying to find that who that you can drive to
- 3:44Speaker 1: close in southern California we'll give you the best bang
- 3:47Speaker 1: for your buck for burgers and fries. And the equation
- 3:50Speaker 1: we used was portion, size, calories and protein. Okay, concerned
- 3:55Speaker 1: about all. I want a lot of protein, don't want
- 3:57Speaker 1: so many calories, good portion, right for the buck. So
- 4:01Speaker 1: at number five it was Wendy's. Really they're in the
- 4:04Speaker 1: top five. Number four Burger King for best value burger Wow.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Number three Smash Burger, which is La Live Manhattan Beach Carson.
- 4:15Speaker 4: You know that one, yem.
- 4:17Speaker 1: So, the top two best value burgers in sunny California
- 4:23Speaker 1: are not In and Out in sun No, they're not.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Are not in an ountain Sonic, I am shook. In
- 4:30Speaker 1: and Out came in twelfth. What it's kind of considered
- 4:33Speaker 1: an upper fast gourmet burger.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I consider it gourmet.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So it came in twelfth. Sonic came in I think thirteenth.
- 4:42Speaker 1: But the top two value burger and fries as of
- 4:45Speaker 1: right now today, McDonald's. Yeah, and whataburger is number one?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Never had it?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Waburger used to be one in Konoga Park, but the
- 4:54Speaker 1: closest one I think is in Las Vegas now, so
- 4:56Speaker 1: it's not really okay, La, But Waburger, if you're going
- 4:59Speaker 1: to have, is the number one best value portion calories
- 5:05Speaker 1: protein in the burger department.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Why isn't the portion calories and all that in the
- 5:09Speaker 2: in and out burger? I'm very confused.
- 5:11Speaker 1: What are you counting on your fingers.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The portion calories in the protein?
- 5:15Speaker 1: But you got yeah, you got four fingers up.
- 5:19Speaker 2: The point is I'm just the only.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Portion calaries protein.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So I just pictured it would be higher.
- 5:26Speaker 1: In and out is more expensive. McDonald's is like less
- 5:29Speaker 1: than three blocks. I think there's a tipping of the scale.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Oh gotcha.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, So that's it if you want to know the
- 5:35Speaker 1: best value burger fries. So over the weekend I did
- 5:38Speaker 1: jump into a little bit of playfulness, speaking of all
- 5:41Speaker 1: the playful vocabulary this morning, playful out in Santa Monica
- 5:47Speaker 1: and I played whack a Mole at the pier. Have
- 5:50Speaker 1: you played waa mal whack a mole at the pier.
- 5:52Speaker 6: That is the only game that we play because it's
- 5:54Speaker 6: like you can actually win.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I did great. Uh huh, I did. I had
- 5:59Speaker 1: Cookie Monster Crunch ice cream right next door. I played
- 6:03Speaker 1: wacka Mole. I played that bottle game the cinematica Peer.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I didn't get one.
- 6:09Speaker 6: I feel like you have a bucket of them and
- 6:11Speaker 6: you're like, I have to get something.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I couldn't believe how bad I was at the little
- 6:15Speaker 1: red ring around the bottleneck game at the Santa Monica.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Peer, floating it.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Well, you know what redemption was was Wackamle. It must
- 6:22Speaker 1: be a slow wacka mole game.
- 6:25Speaker 2: No, why can't we just be good at wackamole?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Because I was never good at wack a male, but
- 6:29Speaker 1: I was great at it over the weekend at the
- 6:31Speaker 1: Peer Santa Monica Peer. One of the great attractions of
- 6:35Speaker 1: Los Angeles movies, the film business, the shooting of shows.
- 6:40Speaker 1: One of the things that happens in Hollywood in LA
- 6:43Speaker 1: and it's happening on Siciny Street. Are they shooting Paradise
- 6:48Speaker 1: Season six?
- 6:49Speaker 2: That would be incredible.
- 6:51Speaker 6: I didn't recognize any actors or actresses that were on
- 6:54Speaker 6: set or anything. Like that, but they have taken up
- 6:56Speaker 6: the majority of my street all weekend long, and so
- 7:00Speaker 6: we can still get out of our driveway and stuff
- 7:02Speaker 6: like that. But I went to walk Diego yesterday and
- 7:06Speaker 6: I'm like, Okay, I'm just gonna go my route and
- 7:08Speaker 6: I'm getting there and that whoa, whoa, whoa whoa woo, man,
- 7:10Speaker 6: you got there's a close thing, Like some guy just
- 7:12Speaker 6: gets in my face.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And I'm like, doesn't let me.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Go in that area.
- 7:15Speaker 6: So I like, you turn with my dog and go
- 7:18Speaker 6: just a different route. And I don't know if you guys,
- 7:20Speaker 6: it's not even so much of that that was annoying. Fine,
- 7:23Speaker 6: I'll go a different way. It was the fact that
- 7:25Speaker 6: now my dog is not on his route and I
- 7:27Speaker 6: know that when we're on my route with Diego, like
- 7:29Speaker 6: I know when he poops where he poops.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And now we.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Were like all discombobulated, and he didn't end up pooping
- 7:35Speaker 6: until like the very end in the walk.
- 7:36Speaker 2: He was stressed out about it.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And I blame that they watch productions for it, thank you.
- 7:41Speaker 1: That's what are they shooting bay Watch in the valley
- 7:44Speaker 1: this time? It's like a real twist.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Oh, I'm like, I definitely don't know it.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So here's the thing. Yeah, I get it off routine.
- 7:53Speaker 1: It's your own, that's your space. That's like. Look, it's
- 7:57Speaker 1: like when the shark says, hey, bro, you're in my space.
- 8:00Speaker 1: This is my water exactly.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Being kind enough to give our street up for you
- 8:07Speaker 6: to rule on.
- 8:08Speaker 1: If they're shooting on your street and they put out
- 8:11Speaker 1: all the snacks on the long tables, are you, as
- 8:15Speaker 1: a resident of that street that's been occupied, allowed to
- 8:18Speaker 1: go and snack on their fruits?
- 8:19Speaker 2: I highly doubt it. They have security guards.
- 8:22Speaker 3: This was a thing they shot a movie back on
- 8:24Speaker 3: my street in Ross Morris called The Trigger Effect.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Okay, long long ago, decades ago.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I was like.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I was like, I don't know how old it was.
- 8:33Speaker 3: And they had those trailers and we were, as residents
- 8:37Speaker 3: of the street, we were allowed to go.
- 8:39Speaker 4: In and get like snacks.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Definitely not the rule anymore.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So this was way back. This is the prequel to
- 8:43Speaker 1: a Bronx tail, right back in that sort of era.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I was old.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I remember, well, if you see Harrison Ford, it's shrinking,
- 8:51Speaker 1: that's what they're shooting. Oh good, If you see Harrison
- 8:53Speaker 1: for it's Harrison Ford. It's Harrison for yeah, and Jason Siegel. Yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 1: that's right, that's shrinking. If it's the other guy who
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm thinking about, Seth Rogan, it's the studio good stuff.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Well it is one of two point seven Kiss FM
- 9:10Speaker 1: got your quote of the day for this Monday. But
- 9:14Speaker 1: how many times do you use that bathte before you
- 9:18Speaker 1: wash it? According to my friends in microbiology, if you'd
- 9:24Speaker 1: only use it two times, I have been guilty of
- 9:26Speaker 1: rying that thing for a couple of days.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely four.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, because I feel like it's just me, I know me.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I just cleaned to me. I'm gonna put it back.
- 9:32Speaker 2: On the hole you.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Use it.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think there's there guys.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Dead skin, microbes, other bacteria. Depends who you are. You
- 9:39Speaker 1: could have more. I don't know. Ah, so yeah two times.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Today's Monday quote self care is giving the world the
- 9:48Speaker 1: best of you instead of what's left of you. Wow,
- 9:51Speaker 1: don't tap yourself out, Sizah Kendrick lemar Now it is
- 9:56Speaker 1: Ney Tanya. Everybody in the back room after seven o'clock.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Her husband been cheated with one of her friends, but
- 10:02Speaker 1: she stayed for the kids. Now she fears it's happening again.
- 10:05Speaker 1: That's the thing. Has it become a pattern? Yeah, he
- 10:11Speaker 1: all of a sudden has amnesia about his part of
- 10:14Speaker 1: the deal and he's gone back to his old way
- 10:17Speaker 1: because he got to keep everything. Essentially, he didn't really
- 10:21Speaker 1: pay a penalty. So that's coming up for Sisney. The
- 10:24Speaker 1: headline FM headlines with Sicney well strong.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Wins at Stagecoach forced them to pause the event and
- 10:31Speaker 6: evacuate the grounds Saturday night, but the show resumed once
- 10:35Speaker 6: conditions improved. LAPD is increasing patrols and adding new surveillance
- 10:41Speaker 6: equipment in Studio City following a string of home invasions.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Cole Allen of Torrence, and the suspect in the shooting
- 10:48Speaker 6: at the White House Correspondence Association dinner Saturday night, is
- 10:52Speaker 6: expected to be arraigned in US District Court today, and
- 10:55Speaker 6: the LA Galaxy honored franchise icon Kobe Jones with a
- 10:59Speaker 6: statue outside of Didn't Any Help Sports Park.
- 11:01Speaker 1: We're about to get into a Ryan's Roses call. First,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I want to get to pass a Dina. So Sindy,
- 11:06Speaker 1: good morning morning. So you're asking us should you date
- 11:12Speaker 1: the girl you're ex cheated on you with? I need
- 11:17Speaker 1: to understand, can you explain to us. I'm clear.
- 11:20Speaker 5: So basically, I broke up with my ex because she
- 11:24Speaker 5: had cheated on me, and it was pretty messy.
- 11:27Speaker 2: It hurt a lot.
- 11:28Speaker 5: We were together for.
- 11:28Speaker 7: A bit and I just.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Scented it and moved on from there. But this weekend
- 11:35Speaker 5: I was out at a bar and the girl that
- 11:38Speaker 5: she had cheated on me with comes up to me
- 11:41Speaker 5: and we start talking and the vibe was there, and
- 11:47Speaker 5: we've been dming a little bit since that.
- 11:49Speaker 2: It's kind of flirty.
- 11:51Speaker 5: So I hate to say, but I'm starting to catch
- 11:54Speaker 5: feelings for her and now. And now, to be clear,
- 11:59Speaker 5: my ex and I are done. But from what I
- 12:03Speaker 5: understand that situation between them, it was a one time thing,
- 12:06Speaker 5: but it still feels like it's crossing some type of line.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Well I don't know.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I mean, I don't need to know much more. I
- 12:13Speaker 1: got to be clear on this. This person you're talking
- 12:15Speaker 1: about is a serial troublemaker. But that's what this person
- 12:19Speaker 1: clearly does.
- 12:20Speaker 6: Wait a minute, did they know that they maybe they
- 12:22Speaker 6: didn't know that they were in a relationship when they cheated.
- 12:26Speaker 5: I mean it seems like they did.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, okay, So first of all, this woman goes
- 12:33Speaker 1: after your partner while you're in a relationship. Check that box,
- 12:38Speaker 1: then comes back around and decides to flirt and fall
- 12:42Speaker 1: with you. Check that box. Who's to say this is
- 12:45Speaker 1: not a pattern of what she's gonna do again to you.
- 12:50Speaker 1: This happens to you all over again because she does
- 12:51Speaker 1: it again. It's a hamster wheel cycle of troublemaker.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Like if I was your friend, I'd be like, get
- 12:57Speaker 2: out run.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I cannot vote yes on this proposition.
- 13:03Speaker 6: I'm with Ryan unless no, unless you just want to
- 13:07Speaker 6: have fun and you don't want to catch real feelings.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Whatever, penalize this person for breaking up my relationship a
- 13:14Speaker 1: little bit.
- 13:14Speaker 6: The trouble maker, all right, No, it's just hard to
- 13:19Speaker 6: find love out there, and so what if they have
- 13:21Speaker 6: real is not.
- 13:22Speaker 1: A lover, it's a cereal trouble maker, say trouble maker.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I just don't trouble maker. The purple devil. Purple devil
- 13:28Speaker 1: emoji emoji, isn't it the purple devil?
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that one can be a little like flirty though.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Well, Sidney, good luck, thank you. We're clear on this one.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Okay, he's going to go back.
- 13:42Speaker 1: They're hooking up tonight. Purple Devil Purple Devil.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Purple Devil don't like to play with fire. It's just
- 13:50Speaker 2: we're wired that way.
- 13:51Speaker 1: You know what's gonna happen. They're going to get a
- 13:52Speaker 1: little burn. Okay, so we're about to get into Ryan's roses.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I have your World Champion Dodger tickets to give away
- 13:58Speaker 1: in a second as well.
- 14:00Speaker 8: Woo.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So the question was ever knowingly kept some one around
- 14:03Speaker 1: as a rebound. I want to make sure I got
- 14:06Speaker 1: this clearly, but go ahead, Tanya in the Trending report.
- 14:08Speaker 3: So this is a source according to in Touch, so
- 14:12Speaker 3: take it with a grain of salt. However, this is
- 14:15Speaker 3: about Jennifer Lopez and her new romance with co star
- 14:18Speaker 3: Brett Goldstein. And if you don't know Brett Goldstein, he
- 14:21Speaker 3: was the gruff but lovable Roy Kent on Ted Lasso
- 14:24Speaker 3: and he also plays Lewis on Shrinking. So he and
- 14:27Speaker 3: j Lo just wrapped this rom com called Office Romance.
- 14:30Speaker 3: It hits Netflix June fifth. But her Divine It looks
- 14:34Speaker 3: really good. But her divorce from Ben Affleck was finalized
- 14:37Speaker 3: in January twenty twenty five, and she started filming this
- 14:39Speaker 3: movie with Brett three months later. So this source said
- 14:42Speaker 3: that she had fun with him, but it was never
- 14:44Speaker 3: going to turn into anything serious for her. And I
- 14:47Speaker 3: feel like the fact that she knew it was a
- 14:49Speaker 3: rebound is refreshing. You know, she's like very self aware.
- 14:53Speaker 3: But it got me thinking about the idea of a
- 14:56Speaker 3: rebound and like, I could never date people right after
- 15:01Speaker 3: I broke up with somebody that I always just had
- 15:02Speaker 3: to have a period of like sulking and sadness. I
- 15:04Speaker 3: was never the person that like could have rebounds. Were
- 15:08Speaker 3: you guys?
- 15:09Speaker 1: I know? Is it this guy by the way a
- 15:13Speaker 1: little close?
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah? I think so?
- 15:15Speaker 4: Okay, this guy really weird picture of him?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yes, this guy.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Too far?
- 15:21Speaker 4: Is this guy's pictures?
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:24Speaker 1: Sure, okay, I think that's him.
- 15:25Speaker 6: This guy he's on shrinking, he's on shrinking, he's on yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, okay.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Yeah yeah yeah roy ya.
- 15:33Speaker 1: No. I would want to distract myself with going out
- 15:35Speaker 1: with anybody that would want to go out.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Actually, I married my rebound.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, so sorry, Tanya, you're alone on this one.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Michael was legit a rebound. Jeanette, my sister.
- 15:46Speaker 6: Said, come to San Diego meet that guy. I'll set
- 15:48Speaker 6: you up on a blind date. I was like, I
- 15:50Speaker 6: know I don't want to, and I did and we're married.
- 15:52Speaker 8: Now you got to.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Get out there as soon as your heart broke in
- 15:54Speaker 1: and get out there and don't feel that heartbreak. Yeah,
- 15:57Speaker 1: don't see that could be that could be sad.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I know, but isn't nice to like sit in the
- 16:02Speaker 4: sadness at times?
- 16:03Speaker 2: Sometimes over five years. I'm also just like learn you sit.
- 16:07Speaker 1: In the sadness when you get back into a relationship
- 16:09Speaker 1: for a long time. So get out there right and
- 16:13Speaker 1: the sadness comes back fast, so dark, no honest facts,
- 16:24Speaker 1: it's time for Ryan's roses and why don't two point
- 16:26Speaker 1: seven KISSFM? So Mariah in Sherman Oaks has reached out
- 16:30Speaker 1: to say, ten months ago, not even a year ago,
- 16:32Speaker 1: she found out her husband of thirteen years was having
- 16:34Speaker 1: an affair with one of her close friends. Kind of
- 16:37Speaker 1: a friend is that? She says. I stayed to try
- 16:41Speaker 1: and save our family. But now I have a feeling
- 16:44Speaker 1: it's happening all over again. If I am right, this
- 16:49Speaker 1: needs to be the end. So Mariah, thanks for coming on.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I understand the first part of this. Are you still
- 16:55Speaker 1: friendly with your so called friend.
- 17:00Speaker 9: So we don't really talk? Yeah?
- 17:04Speaker 1: And do you think he's cheating again with this old
- 17:07Speaker 1: friend or with someone new.
- 17:10Speaker 9: I think it's with her, Like my son told me,
- 17:15Speaker 9: he saw aunt Christina because it's what he knows her
- 17:18Speaker 9: as at the part, Oh, he was my husband and
- 17:21Speaker 9: my husband and he was just confused. But I believe
- 17:24Speaker 9: my son.
- 17:26Speaker 1: All Right, we are going to see what we can
- 17:29Speaker 1: find out, because if it is the case that he
- 17:32Speaker 1: has gone back, this is it. This is the end.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I mean, you said that in your email to me.
- 17:38Speaker 9: I'm done.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yes, you decided to stay with your husband after he
- 17:44Speaker 1: had an afair with Christina the first time because of
- 17:46Speaker 1: your family?
- 17:48Speaker 9: Yeah, I just I wanted to save my family. I
- 17:50Speaker 9: didn't want my sons to grow up without their dad,
- 17:52Speaker 9: and I didn't want everyone finding out. You know.
- 17:55Speaker 1: The question is because he was forgiven, did he then
- 17:59Speaker 1: think he could get away with it again? So hold
- 18:01Speaker 1: on one second, Mariah, we will call him in just
- 18:06Speaker 1: a minute here on Kiss FM. Mariah's on the line.
- 18:10Speaker 1: So if you just got here, here's the deal. She
- 18:13Speaker 1: thinks her husband may have gone back and cheated with
- 18:16Speaker 1: this close friend former close friend of hers a second time.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Ten months ago. She finds out they've been married thirteen
- 18:24Speaker 1: years that her close friend, one of her closest was
- 18:27Speaker 1: having an affair with her husband of thirteen years. She
- 18:31Speaker 1: then cuts the friend out, but stays with her husband
- 18:35Speaker 1: for her son. Now she believes that he's having an
- 18:38Speaker 1: affair with that same woman again, Christina. So Mariah, we
- 18:43Speaker 1: are gonna call him now and offer him romantic roses,
- 18:49Speaker 1: and we're going to try and find out who he's
- 18:51Speaker 1: thinking about. Who does he want to receive this very
- 18:55Speaker 1: romantic and free gesture. I need you to say, Ryan,
- 18:59Speaker 1: you my premier to call, and then his name.
- 19:01Speaker 9: Go ahead, Ryan, you have my permission to call.
- 19:07Speaker 1: We are going to do that right now. Be very quiet.
- 19:09Speaker 1: We're gonna see what we can find out.
- 19:10Speaker 9: Okay, okay, thank you.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Hello.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Hi is this Nico?
- 19:25Speaker 8: It sure is Hi.
- 19:26Speaker 6: My name is El. I'm calling from the Valley Flores.
- 19:28Speaker 6: How are you doing this morning?
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm okay great.
- 19:32Speaker 2: So now we're doing a free.
- 19:33Speaker 6: Promotion today and it's a free dozen red roses that
- 19:35Speaker 6: you can send to anybody that you'd like. I wouldn't
- 19:38Speaker 6: need any cash from you or anything like that, or
- 19:39Speaker 6: just trying to promote our business, and we just need
- 19:42Speaker 6: the name of the person in a note.
- 19:46Speaker 8: Really a three dozen roses. Yes, seriously, I mean, this
- 19:53Speaker 8: isn't a catch or some kind of scam or anything.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Look the catches.
- 19:57Speaker 6: If you like our arrangements, you come back as a
- 20:00Speaker 6: returning customer and then eventually pay for roses then, but
- 20:04Speaker 6: these are free.
- 20:04Speaker 2: We do this promotion about once a month.
- 20:08Speaker 8: Okay, this is great, sure, amazing.
- 20:11Speaker 6: So what's the name of the person you want to
- 20:12Speaker 6: send these beautiful red roses too?
- 20:15Speaker 8: All right? Well, her name is Mariah?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Okay, and what do you like to put on the card?
- 20:26Speaker 8: Yeah, let's go. Here's the Better Days Ahead. I love you.
- 20:34Speaker 8: I know something like that.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Okay, here's the Better Days Ahead. I Love you.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Now, Niko, would you like to send something to Christina
- 20:41Speaker 1: while we're at it? Your voice is being broadcast on
- 20:45Speaker 1: the radio, needs you to know that. But should we
- 20:47Speaker 1: get some for Christina as well?
- 20:51Speaker 5: No?
- 20:52Speaker 8: Why would we do that?
- 20:54Speaker 1: So we're on Kiss FM. My name is Ryan. What
- 20:58Speaker 1: is going on with you and christ.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Uh?
- 21:03Speaker 8: Nothing?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Was there anything? Ever?
- 21:06Speaker 5: Well?
- 21:07Speaker 1: I mean.
- 21:09Speaker 10: Yeah, it was kind of a scenario back in the day,
- 21:15Speaker 10: but I mean it's it's something that.
- 21:17Speaker 8: You know, we kind of got over. Yeah, I don't
- 21:23Speaker 8: really know what this is about.
- 21:25Speaker 1: When did you stop seeing Christina?
- 21:29Speaker 8: Uh, well, it was a while ago.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Can you precisely tell me what a while ago means?
- 21:38Speaker 8: I mean it it was a while ago. I haven't
- 21:41Speaker 8: seen her in a long time.
- 21:44Speaker 1: So is a long time? Ten months is a long time?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Two years is a long time? One month, two weeks?
- 21:51Speaker 1: What is a long time.
- 21:55Speaker 8: It's been?
- 21:56Speaker 10: It's been, it's been a while, it's been a while.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Why don't you pin just give me a timeframe specifically.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Bro Well, you can't write because it wasn't a while.
- 22:11Speaker 6: It was recently.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean I guess, yeah, you're right.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Okay, can you tell me what recently means? Define recently?
- 22:22Speaker 8: Saturday?
- 22:23Speaker 1: All right, so you are having an affair with Christina
- 22:25Speaker 1: and you're talking about trying to make things better with
- 22:27Speaker 1: your wife Mariah. Am I are we onto something here?
- 22:32Speaker 8: I mean, it's it's not really like that.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Well, I don't quite understand what else it's like then, Nico.
- 22:42Speaker 10: I mean, I just happened to run into her. It
- 22:46Speaker 10: was a coincidence. It wasn't anything like I planned.
- 22:49Speaker 1: How do you run into her where.
- 22:53Speaker 8: We were just at the park?
- 22:55Speaker 1: You run into her at the same time at the
- 22:57Speaker 1: same park on the same day, at the same hour.
- 23:00Speaker 8: Liar, it was just a coincidence.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Why was she at the park and why were you
- 23:07Speaker 2: at the park?
- 23:11Speaker 10: I was just at the park there with with my
- 23:14Speaker 10: son and and I just happened to run into her.
- 23:17Speaker 1: And where is Mariah, your wife?
- 23:21Speaker 8: She wasn't there.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Okay, So Mariah, you're on the line listening to all
- 23:26Speaker 1: of this. What would you like to say to your
- 23:28Speaker 1: husband Nico, I think I'm done?
- 23:33Speaker 8: No, yes, no, honey, it's not like that, babe.
- 23:42Speaker 9: I don't care what it's like. You know this is.
- 23:46Speaker 9: I just can't believe you. I can't believe again, like
- 23:49Speaker 9: I can't deal with the lies. I can't deal with
- 23:51Speaker 9: the being constantly paranoid, always wondering who you're with, who
- 23:54Speaker 9: you're texting. I don't trust anything you tell me anymore,
- 23:57Speaker 9: and I don't want to live like that.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Nico, you no, there's no there. You have no
- 24:03Speaker 1: credibility with the truth. Bro, I just talked to you
- 24:05Speaker 1: for four minutes, and there's no credibility with the truth
- 24:08Speaker 1: with you. You said a long time ago, then he
- 24:10Speaker 1: said recently, it's been a while. There really isn't much
- 24:14Speaker 1: to believe. So I understand what she's saying. I'm Maraah.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You heard all that. Nico. You know where you stand.
- 24:20Speaker 1: The two you need to talk. We're gonna let you go.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Thank you, good luck to you, Mariah.
- 24:28Speaker 6: If there was nothing to hide, he would have never
- 24:31Speaker 6: beat around the bush like that. He would have just
- 24:32Speaker 6: been straight up.
- 24:33Speaker 1: A long time ago, a while ago. It's kiss FM.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Ryan's Roses on air with Ryan Seacrest. It's kiss FM.
- 24:45Speaker 1: So can you help me with this? Somehow? If I
- 24:48Speaker 1: text someone on WhatsApp and then somehow go back to
- 24:52Speaker 1: read the message again, I accidentally facetimed him again, makes
- 24:55Speaker 1: me seem like I'm, you know, over zealous to talk
- 24:59Speaker 1: to them, or makes me seem like I respond via text.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Now I'm calling you at the same time via FaceTime
- 25:05Speaker 1: after I just texted you. It's not great.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's because you hit the camera by accident.
- 25:10Speaker 4: I would just what it is.
- 25:13Speaker 1: No, I'm trying to make a good impression, Tanya.
- 25:16Speaker 4: A good impression is face timing.
- 25:19Speaker 1: No, not after somebody has sent you a text and
- 25:23Speaker 1: then you immediately reply, or you reply a little bit later,
- 25:26Speaker 1: and right on top of that reply, you called them,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and then you have to go, oh, so sorry, I
- 25:30Speaker 1: didn't mean to call you, and then you go, oh,
- 25:32Speaker 1: so sorry, I don't really my great, I.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Don't do this much.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not good. Then then there's all those little
- 25:42Speaker 1: blocks of text, missed call and block of text and
- 25:45Speaker 1: so is it just an easy word to hitting the camera?
- 25:49Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 25:49Speaker 6: You need to close the app. I think you're done texting,
- 25:51Speaker 6: and then you leave the app open. So then the
- 25:53Speaker 6: next time you grab your phone, you accidentally dial you
- 25:56Speaker 6: like face time them. Basically, yes, this is happened to you.
- 25:59Speaker 6: I mean it has to me in the past. So
- 26:00Speaker 6: I just know that that's I'm holding my phone. I'm
- 26:03Speaker 6: not realizing and it's my thumb that just like is boom.
- 26:05Speaker 1: There is no speed like the speed and what you're
- 26:08Speaker 1: trying to achieve to get to hit end before your
- 26:13Speaker 1: face is shown, yes, and to say sorry, I didn't
- 26:16Speaker 1: mean that. You don't want that.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Sometimes it is quick enough then it doesn't even go
- 26:20Speaker 6: through to their phone, but then you don't know. Then
- 26:21Speaker 6: you already you know, put your foot in your mouth.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I've not been that quick yet. But I don't know
- 26:27Speaker 1: what's happening, and you're telling me I'm hitting my camera accidentally.
- 26:31Speaker 2: It's the only thing I could think of, is.
- 26:33Speaker 1: This on FaceTime? And what'sapp? Because the WhatsApps where I
- 26:36Speaker 1: accidentally call people all of a sudden, I just texted.
- 26:39Speaker 4: We don't what's appy?
- 26:40Speaker 1: What's up?
- 26:41Speaker 2: You do?
- 26:43Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, So what was it that really?
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:49Speaker 6: So basically like the call and the camera are the
- 26:53Speaker 6: very top.
- 26:54Speaker 2: So if you're grabbing your phone and accidentally.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Right away, yeah, what's happening with out me?
- 27:01Speaker 2: We have other lines?
- 27:03Speaker 7: Yeah, my family in Mexico always what's happening on?
- 27:06Speaker 1: What's happen? Exactly?
- 27:08Speaker 2: My cousin anywhere?
- 27:10Speaker 1: What's apps much easier.
- 27:11Speaker 2: It is anytime I travel. What's up?
- 27:13Speaker 4: Well, you guys can what's ap me whatever you want?
- 27:15Speaker 1: What's no? You acted like you didn't use it or
- 27:19Speaker 1: didn't know about it?
- 27:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, and what's apped? I didn't know Sysney,
- 27:23Speaker 4: what's up?
- 27:23Speaker 6: You don't need to know everything about my life at
- 27:25Speaker 6: all times.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Oh boy, she will not. Now we're gonna have a problem.
- 27:30Speaker 3: She won't break my hair, and now she doesn't want
- 27:32Speaker 3: me to know what she does.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Now and you're trying to take one of my drawers.
- 27:35Speaker 2: It's just too much. I need my space.
- 27:38Speaker 1: We've come to a dead end. Friends, we need to
- 27:42Speaker 1: take a break, and there's a breathe break, breathe break. Uh, Sisney,
- 27:46Speaker 1: Tanya gonna need your help on this one because Sophie
- 27:49Speaker 1: needs to dump a friend. Why do you need to
- 27:50Speaker 1: dump a friend?
- 27:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:51Speaker 6: Why?
- 27:52Speaker 1: What's the issue?
- 27:53Speaker 11: I think just over time, her behavior has shown me
- 27:56Speaker 11: that she's just not a good friend.
- 27:58Speaker 4: You want the behavior, yes.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Behavior, but there's you know, there are people that do something.
- 28:07Speaker 1: You go, oh, that's not a good friend. Okay, maybe
- 28:10Speaker 1: it's just one time, then two times, Oh that's not
- 28:14Speaker 1: a good friend. No, no, maybe that's a coincidence. Three and
- 28:16Speaker 1: four times. That's a pattern. That's a pattern of bad behavior,
- 28:19Speaker 1: a pattern of not being a good friend. So you've
- 28:22Speaker 1: made up your mind. Now the question is how do
- 28:24Speaker 1: you do it?
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yes, I'm struggling.
- 28:26Speaker 11: I don't know if I should bring it up and
- 28:28Speaker 11: have a conversation with her, do it over texts Uh?
- 28:32Speaker 1: I had to have these conversations before. And I don't
- 28:36Speaker 1: recommend you to do it over text. Okay, but if
- 28:38Speaker 1: you do, you can. I mean I don't recommend that,
- 28:41Speaker 1: but you can. And it's really simple. I'm editing people
- 28:45Speaker 1: out of my life.
- 28:46Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I'm editing people out of my life that take for
- 28:53Speaker 1: me more than they give, or at least don't give
- 28:56Speaker 1: as much as they take. I'm editing people. It's just
- 28:59Speaker 1: a way life is going to be. If you're taking
- 29:02Speaker 1: and draining from me without adding value, without participating, you're
- 29:08Speaker 1: taking more than giving. Then I can't do it. I
- 29:12Speaker 1: don't have the energy capacity to continue to be your friend. God,
- 29:15Speaker 1: that is the conversation.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I would never want to have that conversation with you.
- 29:18Speaker 4: I would literally just like slowly ice yourself away.
- 29:22Speaker 2: That's what I've been doing.
- 29:23Speaker 4: But that conversation.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You got to contribute as much as you take. At
- 29:30Speaker 1: least you cannot drain without contribution to replenish.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Fine, but why can't you just quietly ghost? Yeah, move
- 29:37Speaker 2: on much better?
- 29:38Speaker 1: Easy, cowardly. I think you look it's a very honest,
- 29:46Speaker 1: and I think people respect honesty. True, it's going to
- 29:49Speaker 1: make them look inward at themselves. But anybody listening, if
- 29:54Speaker 1: someone is draining you more than they're replenishing you, that equation,
- 29:58Speaker 1: that math doesn't work.
- 30:02Speaker 6: Why burn the bridge because eventually this person could mature
- 30:06Speaker 6: and then like ten years they're a great person.
- 30:08Speaker 2: And whatnot.
- 30:08Speaker 1: And so you guys could just like it's pretty honest
- 30:10Speaker 1: with somebody burning the bridge.
- 30:12Speaker 2: But I feel like it's gonna make it so add in.
- 30:14Speaker 11: I don't know how I'm gonna be after.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I just don't see you distance what the right advice?
- 30:18Speaker 2: Don't come to me, not the right advice.
- 30:22Speaker 1: This is the right advice, because I've had Tara is
- 30:25Speaker 1: a Dodger fan and Whittier. Good morning, Tara. How are you?
- 30:30Speaker 2: I'm good?
- 30:30Speaker 1: How are you great? All right? So we got Dodgers
- 30:33Speaker 1: Giants tickets at Dodgers Stadium. We are going to play
- 30:36Speaker 1: Dodgers Stadium. Food prices, Hi, yes, come on, you love it.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna describe a food item available this season at
- 30:46Speaker 1: Dodgers Stadium. You tell me if it's hire or lower
- 30:48Speaker 1: than twenty five bucks.
- 30:51Speaker 8: Okay, all right, here we go.
- 30:52Speaker 1: So you gotta get three right before you get three wrong.
- 30:55Speaker 1: The first one the four piece fried chicken bucket. It
- 30:58Speaker 1: includes mashed potatoes and biscuits. Remember four pieces higher or
- 31:02Speaker 1: lower than twenty five bucks?
- 31:06Speaker 8: Ummm, I'm going to say higher?
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yeah, forty bucks? Well done? Wow, that a lot. That's
- 31:14Speaker 1: a lot for four with biscuits all right. The pistrami
- 31:18Speaker 1: burger at Dodgers Date, he higher or lower than twenty
- 31:20Speaker 1: five bucks. A beef patty topped with thin ley sliced pistrami,
- 31:24Speaker 1: American cheese, pickley, pickles, and mustard on a potato but
- 31:31Speaker 1: potato but higher or lower than twenty five bucks?
- 31:36Speaker 5: I'm going to say lower.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, even with the potato, but and the
- 31:40Speaker 1: pickli pickles. Yeah, twenty bucks. Now for the wind the
- 31:45Speaker 1: spicy Korean chicken bucket not a buckets a chicken to
- 31:50Speaker 1: choose from. So this one is two times twice fried
- 31:55Speaker 1: boneless chicken tossed in a sticky spice see sweetie sauce
- 32:03Speaker 1: over a bed of waffle fries. Higher or lower than
- 32:07Speaker 1: twenty five bucks?
- 32:09Speaker 9: I'm definitely higher.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Yes, cook twice. It's going to take twice as much
- 32:13Speaker 1: time and more.
- 32:15Speaker 2: The spicy sweety sauce.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Spicy sweet sauce. That's got to be expensive. Sweety sauce
- 32:20Speaker 1: is not cheap, Terra. Congratulations, you're going to see the
- 32:23Speaker 1: Dodgers and the Giants Dodgers date in May thirteenth. All right, wow, Okay,
- 32:30Speaker 1: what's his name? His name is Peter, Peter and Tara,
- 32:34Speaker 1: enjoy the game. Okay, one more tiny assistant. You play
- 32:36Speaker 1: this The drip Dog, a grilled on all beefy beef
- 32:41Speaker 1: hot dog top with nacho cheesy cheese, spicy Jlipinos, hot Cheetos,
- 32:48Speaker 1: all on a bakery style bun. Higher or lower than
- 32:50Speaker 1: twenty five bucks?
- 32:51Speaker 2: I hope it's lower.
- 32:54Speaker 1: It is lower. Twelve to fifty.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Okay, twelve fifty, that's good.
- 32:58Speaker 1: That seems like the barkainaball.
- 33:00Speaker 3: The forty dollars one on air with a Ryan Seacret,
- 33:07Speaker 3: it is bad, Bunny.
- 33:08Speaker 1: This is kiss FM. Ryan's roses coming in a second.
- 33:12Speaker 1: You know, going that extra mile not for tips, but
- 33:16Speaker 1: just to like du a little something extra for somebody
- 33:18Speaker 1: is a good feeling. But when you work at Jersey
- 33:20Speaker 1: Mikes as your side hustle, like Jordan, go on the
- 33:23Speaker 1: extra miles not only a good feeling, it can get
- 33:27Speaker 1: you a good tip. Now, average cost of a sub
- 33:31Speaker 1: just for one person at Jersey Mikes is what Jordan?
- 33:34Speaker 7: Now, it's twelve dollars.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Dodger stadium prices. Get a drip dog at Dodger stadiums
- 33:42Speaker 1: with the hot cheetah flaming cheetah, are they well to
- 33:46Speaker 1: have flaming Cheetos anymore.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Mark you sure they Yeah, they still have all that
- 33:49Speaker 2: in talkies. Yeah, it's still out there.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Oh I thought I read in the news of flaming Cheetos.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It was all controversial. I think they're banned on la
- 33:56Speaker 1: UFD campuses of the die if food got it. But
- 34:00Speaker 1: the stadiums are fine for us.
- 34:02Speaker 2: You're on your own out there.
- 34:03Speaker 1: You're on your own as an adult in a while.
- 34:06Speaker 1: So uh. Anyway, Jordan, you got a ten dollars tip.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Every time somebody comes in. You're looking this is like
- 34:11Speaker 1: a unicorn, this ten dollars tipper. Right, you're looking for
- 34:14Speaker 1: the unicorn. What'd you do? Yeah?
- 34:16Speaker 12: Got his energy. I felt he was a goofy guy.
- 34:19Speaker 12: Chopped it up with him. They had a good convo going.
- 34:21Speaker 12: And finally when I got to the board to do
- 34:24Speaker 12: a like do the toppings, I was like, would you
- 34:26Speaker 12: like it Mike's way?
- 34:27Speaker 7: And He's like, you know what, I want it my way.
- 34:31Speaker 12: It's probably the worst thing to hear as a Jersey
- 34:33Speaker 12: Mike's employee.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Why because like there's like a.
- 34:37Speaker 12: System and you got all the like you gotta just
- 34:39Speaker 12: go and then when you want it my way, they just.
- 34:41Speaker 7: Mess up the flow of the whole thing. So it's
- 34:44Speaker 7: like the worst thing you want to hear.
- 34:45Speaker 1: You're not going of the year, by the way, after
- 34:47Speaker 1: the story, it's.
- 34:47Speaker 12: Fine, I'll take the l But I smiled through the
- 34:52Speaker 12: pain and I was like, let it writ man, what
- 34:54Speaker 12: do you want?
- 34:55Speaker 7: Cool got through that he only want let us and mail.
- 35:02Speaker 6: So that's great.
- 35:03Speaker 5: It was.
- 35:04Speaker 1: It was easy, but I.
- 35:05Speaker 7: Was like, bro, my way, come on, be more creative.
- 35:08Speaker 12: So yeah, I went down wrapping up his sandwich and
- 35:11Speaker 12: I don't remember the corny joke, but he threw a
- 35:13Speaker 12: corny joke and I said, oh, that's a knee slapper,
- 35:17Speaker 12: and I slapped my knee and he had the biggest
- 35:21Speaker 12: smile on his face, like I think I made his
- 35:23Speaker 12: whole week for real?
- 35:25Speaker 1: Really?
- 35:25Speaker 7: Yes? And so I catched him out.
- 35:28Speaker 12: I said it was great meeting you, and he left
- 35:30Speaker 12: a ten dollars tip bill, Wow, tip.
- 35:37Speaker 1: He's been trying to more than that, and what's much
- 35:39Speaker 1: more than that for twelve fifty sandwich?
- 35:42Speaker 2: It's like eight.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Guys the time, Jordan. I like, how you tried to
- 35:50Speaker 1: steer him to Mike's way, so it's just like systematic.
- 35:54Speaker 1: And then he wanted to be out of the box.
- 35:55Speaker 1: But in the long run, that's why you've always got
- 35:58Speaker 1: to have that open door sort of like, hey, no problem,
- 36:01Speaker 1: I got you. Because at the end of his very
- 36:04Speaker 1: simple my way assembly line, he overtipped, so you cannot
- 36:08Speaker 1: judge an order by an order from that point.
- 36:10Speaker 12: Moving forward, I will allow the my way only want
- 36:14Speaker 12: to shift them.
- 36:15Speaker 1: And how is wapping up a sandwich different than you know?
- 36:17Speaker 2: That's stopping me my tracks too.
