- 0:07Speaker 1: hosts in an instance. Now back to the Marximo Show
- 0:11Speaker 1: on wo R.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Well, yeah, these public polls you know you see on
- 0:16Speaker 2: TV reading the news, these are cheap, flimsy, biased, slanted
- 0:22Speaker 2: media polls, college polls, the real polls, the top poles
- 0:27Speaker 2: candidates behind the scenes, pay a fortune for the best
- 0:31Speaker 2: in the world is John McLachlin. The best poster on
- 0:33Speaker 2: earthworks for presidents and prime ministers, and he's the best.
- 0:39Speaker 2: You know, its website it's McLachlin online dot com. McLachlan
- 0:43Speaker 2: online dot com. John McLachlin, How you doing.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Well? Considering that.
- 0:51Speaker 1: The president has survived a third assassination attempt, This is
- 0:55Speaker 1: just amazing that it's so sad. But but he's well,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and he's doing what you know, you know the president
- 1:02Speaker 1: as well as anybody, and he he's uh, he's you know,
- 1:07Speaker 1: moving forward, doing what he's got to do. But in
- 1:09Speaker 1: the meantime, we got to keep the president, say some
- 1:12Speaker 1: secure and make sure that he accomplishes what he said
- 1:16Speaker 1: out to accomplish.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So there's something Does this help him in the polls.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Does it hurt democrats in the polls an incident.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Like this.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Not usually, because what's different about this is, you know,
- 1:28Speaker 1: Butler Pennsylvania was out there during the campaign and it
- 1:31Speaker 1: was a terrible tragedy and all that, but his numbers
- 1:34Speaker 1: didn't move, you know, like before the convention or after
- 1:39Speaker 1: the convention. He was still ahead of Biden by two
- 1:41Speaker 1: and that's why Biden dropped out. But there was no
- 1:44Speaker 1: media bounds. He doesn't get the coverage that you know,
- 1:49Speaker 1: a luft of center democrat might such a situation. And
- 1:53Speaker 1: if anything, you know, he's got Teddy Malaney talking about
- 1:56Speaker 1: you know, Jimmy Kimmel cracking jokes about you know, and
- 2:00Speaker 1: and you had to wonder about some of the uh
- 2:03Speaker 1: uh some you know where this is coming from. When
- 2:06Speaker 1: you when you read the shooter's manifesto or the attempted
- 2:10Speaker 1: assassin's manifesto, it repeats the left wing vitriol that has
- 2:14Speaker 1: been thrown a President Trump. That's not true. And uh,
- 2:19Speaker 1: you know you've talked about you know, the guy calls him,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you know, I mean he Nora o'donald did it last night.
- 2:25Speaker 1: In sixty minutes. She basically repeated what the shooter, the
- 2:31Speaker 1: legend assassin was going to say about you know what
- 2:35Speaker 1: she said, she repeated at what you know, he said,
- 2:37Speaker 1: he's this and that and whatever, And she said that
- 2:41Speaker 1: on air in sixty minutes last then and the president
- 2:43Speaker 1: you know, immediately rebuked her for doing that. But because
- 2:48Speaker 1: it's not true, and and you just wonder about how
- 2:52Speaker 1: deranged a lot.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Of these people in the media are.
- 2:55Speaker 1: You know, there weren't that many Democrats at the at
- 2:57Speaker 1: the event, the White House correspondent, they were origin boycotting
- 3:00Speaker 1: the event because Trump and so it was it was,
- 3:08Speaker 1: you know, such a tragedy, but it's extremely biased against him.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, John mcglochy, you've handled a lot of candidates, presidents,
- 3:15Speaker 2: prime ministers, premiers, You've handled people all over the world.
- 3:17Speaker 2: You ever had a candidate that was subject of this
- 3:20Speaker 2: kind of attack day and night by every which way
- 3:22Speaker 2: in the media. Have you ever had a deal with
- 3:24Speaker 2: that with another candidate?
- 3:27Speaker 3: Absolutely not. I mean when I.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Worked for Arth the Finnish team back in the eighties,
- 3:30Speaker 1: he pulled for Reagan, and Reagan there was a left
- 3:33Speaker 1: of center bias, but you know, the media wasn't as personal.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And what's gone on since then in the twenty first century,
- 3:43Speaker 1: live in our reality TV age, and Donald Trump had
- 3:46Speaker 1: the highest ratio reality TV show. So it's you know,
- 3:51Speaker 1: so he's kind of used to it, so he's he's
- 3:54Speaker 1: made for it. And in that he can he does.
- 3:58Speaker 1: He multitasks, he does things, you know, in real time,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and he can shift gears and and handle multiple things
- 4:06Speaker 1: all at once. I mean, he's truly a historic president.
- 4:10Speaker 1: But as he was saying, is he's a consequential president
- 4:14Speaker 1: that because he accomplishes so much and because he generates
- 4:20Speaker 1: real opposition and people that really want bigger government, they
- 4:24Speaker 1: want higher taxes, they want a weaker United States. I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 1: some of these Democrats are ever were rooting for our reign.
- 4:31Speaker 1: They repeat things that are not true that a range
- 4:34Speaker 1: television puts out, and you just wonder, because it's like, uh,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you know, we've got prade men and women out there
- 4:42Speaker 1: putting their allies on the line every day for the
- 4:44Speaker 1: United States to keep a rain, for getting the who
- 4:46Speaker 1: grew upon and keep us safe from other threats, and
- 4:49Speaker 1: you know, they just they just they just focused on
- 4:52Speaker 1: winning the midterms at any cost.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Hey, John McLaughlin, it's very tough for a Republican to
- 4:58Speaker 2: get elected governor of New York as we've but Bruce Blakeman,
- 5:01Speaker 2: I think is something different. He's got an incredible track
- 5:03Speaker 2: record as a governor in his case county executive. But oh,
- 5:07Speaker 2: you're his poster.
- 5:08Speaker 3: But I full disclosure, Yeah, I forgot.
- 5:13Speaker 2: But I really think he can do it. And what
- 5:16Speaker 2: does it take as far as the demographic makeup for
- 5:20Speaker 2: him to win in New York right now?
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well, by the way, Bruce is doing very well. I
- 5:25Speaker 1: mean it leaked out into the press that in the
- 5:28Speaker 1: beginning of March we had him within nine points and
- 5:32Speaker 1: you know, he's he it's you know, even though the
- 5:37Speaker 1: midterm may not be good for Republicans, like we have
- 5:40Speaker 1: Republicans down four nationally, Bruce is breaking you know, the
- 5:44Speaker 1: mold in that he because she's got this alignment between
- 5:49Speaker 1: Mundai and hulkeel where Hulkell endorsed Mondamie to help him
- 5:52Speaker 1: get elected mayor and now Mndamie's going back to Huckle
- 5:56Speaker 1: that he wants tax increases and he doesn't want he
- 5:59Speaker 1: doesn't want to just billionaires and multimillionaires. He proposed a
- 6:04Speaker 1: ten percent property tax on all home owners in New
- 6:07Speaker 1: York City and also talked about some sort of racial targeting.
- 6:11Speaker 1: But he and there's other taxes that he wants. That's
- 6:13Speaker 1: the Democrats socialists in New York want. They want to
- 6:16Speaker 1: hire corporate taxes, hire a tax, own small businesses, higher
- 6:20Speaker 1: payroll taxes. So Bruce is adamantly opposed that.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I've worked for Bruce for many years.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He was brilliant in twenty one when we were down
- 6:29Speaker 1: twenty four points in March. He ended up winning for
- 6:32Speaker 1: county executive that year, and then he won reelection when
- 6:37Speaker 1: no other Republican was really you know, get motivating Trumpeters
- 6:42Speaker 1: or independence to come out and vote for them. Are
- 6:45Speaker 1: solf Democrats. Bruce won by twelve in a county that's
- 6:49Speaker 1: eight point more Democrats last year. So Bruce is really
- 6:54Speaker 1: working hard, and I think he has a great opportunity
- 6:57Speaker 1: because the utility bills cost the livery in New York
- 6:59Speaker 1: tax is so high. I mean, Huckell's begging billionaires to
- 7:03Speaker 1: come back to the market.
- 7:05Speaker 2: But you make a great point. Bruce Blakeman has a
- 7:08Speaker 2: history of being twenty points behind and then coming from
- 7:10Speaker 2: behind and winning big every time.
- 7:13Speaker 1: So yeah, and I listened to Michael Goleen's interview with you,
- 7:17Speaker 1: like in the past hour. And you know, New York
- 7:20Speaker 1: City media they've had Mondomie on a bit of a
- 7:22Speaker 1: honeymoon and Mondamie's numbers. You know, you saw he does
- 7:27Speaker 1: his numbers on his job approval in the mais Pole,
- 7:29Speaker 1: which is pretty thought. They don't rate him on a
- 7:32Speaker 1: lot of things. They said, it's below where Eric Adams
- 7:36Speaker 1: was at this point. And the national media, like an
- 7:39Speaker 1: last national poll, Mandamie's had a net decline. It's ten
- 7:43Speaker 1: points where he's gone from nationally thirty five thirty four
- 7:46Speaker 1: to twenty nine thirty eight. Because he's showing his true colors.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I mean, he's really anti Semitic, anti Israel. He wants
- 7:53Speaker 1: to raise taxing on everybody, and he's got a deficit
- 7:57Speaker 1: and Hulkal hasn't proposed above it. Bruce is you know trying.
- 8:02Speaker 1: He's been traveling the state. Yesay he was a Brooklyn
- 8:05Speaker 1: you know, and he was he was campaigning bar in Brooklyn.
- 8:08Speaker 1: He's been campaigning upstate. But you know, it's and this
- 8:12Speaker 1: weekend it was hard to get press period because with
- 8:15Speaker 1: that you know, terrible uh assassination attempt on the president's.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well everybody get out there and support Bruce Blakeman. Now
- 8:25Speaker 2: people have explained this to me, Is this what really happened?
- 8:28Speaker 2: For years Democrats open borders have been letting millions of
- 8:31Speaker 2: people come in here, people immigrating from all over the place,
- 8:36Speaker 2: and they figured they'll get new Democratic voters. But what
- 8:38Speaker 2: they got were kind of third world Democrats who didn't
- 8:41Speaker 2: like Republicans, and they didn't like the regular Democrats. They
- 8:44Speaker 2: wanted it way left wing socialists, and they turned on
- 8:48Speaker 2: the regular Democrats and forcing what's left to them to
- 8:51Speaker 2: become super left and woke. Is that what happened?
- 8:55Speaker 1: You can see that's sort happened the governmental Yeah, I
- 8:57Speaker 1: mean she's just she really be very weak and she
- 9:02Speaker 1: will go along with whatever the radicals propose. And right now,
- 9:07Speaker 1: I mean, you know she's trying to balance Mandamie and
- 9:11Speaker 1: the idea that Bruce Blakeman, who as county executive, hired
- 9:15Speaker 1: hundreds of police officers and law enforcement officers in Naza.
- 9:19Speaker 1: They made them the safers county in America. Plus he
- 9:22Speaker 1: cut taxes and then held the line on taxes for
- 9:25Speaker 1: four years. That's a big contrast to her record. And
- 9:30Speaker 1: you know, so it's a real.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Threat to her.
- 9:31Speaker 1: But because Mandamie won't hire enough police to cover the
- 9:37Speaker 1: world tops and other things. I mean, you can't have
- 9:40Speaker 1: picnics in New York City at the time of the
- 9:42Speaker 1: World Cup because they don't have enough police officers.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Yeah, well, we've.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Been doing this before. We get a crazy left wing period,
- 9:49Speaker 2: socialist period, and then we go back to normal. Are
- 9:53Speaker 2: we getting to the point where that could happen at
- 9:55Speaker 2: some point?
- 9:58Speaker 1: We've never seen anything like this. It's like Glen Donnie.
- 10:02Speaker 1: So it's it's just it's just a it's a really
- 10:05Speaker 1: sharp divergence from you can see right now when you know,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I mean Bruce, she needs like thirty five percent of
- 10:11Speaker 1: the vote in New York City to win, and seeing
- 10:14Speaker 1: where he's got twenty nine percent, he's winning the suburbs,
- 10:17Speaker 1: big upstate. He needs to improve a little. But we
- 10:21Speaker 1: do those things. You you can have a big upset
- 10:23Speaker 1: in New York and you know, govern our whole goal. Uh,
- 10:27Speaker 1: you know, she's she's she's as long as she keeps
- 10:30Speaker 1: going along with the big government socialist, she's in big trouble.
- 10:33Speaker 2: So we will say Blakeman is a brilliant articulate, is
- 10:37Speaker 2: a phenomenal debater. She stinks in debate. She looks ridiculous,
- 10:41Speaker 2: kind of goofy in a debate. Couldn't that turn the
- 10:44Speaker 2: whole thing around one debate?
- 10:46Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I'm sure she won't.
- 10:48Speaker 1: She won't even want to have matching funds that she said,
- 10:51Speaker 1: you know, they passed this law to have matching funds.
- 10:53Speaker 1: And then it's like, uh, blake, when my win, he's
- 10:56Speaker 1: not going to get the matching funds because he's really sorry.
- 11:00Speaker 1: And Bruce is also genuinely the nice person. He cares
- 11:02Speaker 1: about people. He really does want the best for New York.
- 11:05Speaker 1: He's a you know.
- 11:06Speaker 3: A lifelong native New Yorker who.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Really cares about the state, whether it's a buffalo, whether
- 11:11Speaker 1: it's some stuffer county. I mean for you know, he
- 11:16Speaker 1: he uh, people, people respond to him. They generally like him.
- 11:19Speaker 1: He's a good person and he will he's improven because
- 11:22Speaker 1: Nasar County has more people than like hate states. You know,
- 11:27Speaker 1: he could he could. He could definitely run, you know,
- 11:30Speaker 1: run the state government a lot better than what's going
- 11:33Speaker 1: on right now in terms of utility bills, being able
- 11:36Speaker 1: to cut utility bills and be able to uh uh
- 11:39Speaker 1: you know, lower taxes as well well.
- 11:42Speaker 2: John McLachlan, I hate to say it, we're out of time,
