- 0:05Hanan: Lina loves this.
- 0:06Hanan: Today we have a very special guest.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hello.
- 0:08Hanan: If I seem annoyed, it's because it's taken a really long time for us to arrive into this very very moment in the chair.
- 0:14Hanan: And I tried to do this intro like twice already, and she's like, I'm not ready.
- 0:17Hanan: I'm not ready.
- 0:18Lina: Introduce her.
- 0:19Hanan: We didn't even say her name.
- 0:21Hanan: I said this is Dana, somebody very special to us.
- 0:23Hanan: Okay, sorry.
- 0:24Hanan: Sorry.
- 0:25Hanan: This is Dana.
- 0:26Hanan: A very special friend.
- 0:28Hanan: You guys have probably heard us talk about her before on the podcast a lot.
- 0:32Hanan: Um, so she is the one-third of this very fun sandwich, right?
- 0:38Hanan: Yes.
- 0:38Hanan: All right.
- 0:39Hanan: Headquarters.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I'm so excited.
- 0:41Lina: I'm happy to be wait, guys.
- 0:46Lina: Dana's kind of nervous a little bit, but you shouldn't be.
- 0:49Lina: Okay.
- 0:50Lina: Yeah.
- 0:50Lina: You're gonna you're gonna be fine.
- 0:51Lina: We're just talking.
- 0:52Lina: It's just, you know.
- 0:53Lina: Okay.
- 0:53Lina: We're bringing the people in on our conversation.
- 0:55Hanan: And it's nice.
- 0:56Hanan: We're actually in Dana's house.
- 0:57Hanan: Alina and I took a road trip uh to visit our friend here.
- 1:01Hanan: Yes.
- 1:01Hanan: Uh, because before she did not live in driving distance, which was, you know, sucky, but you could still take a flight.
- 1:07Hanan: But now it's like a very drivable distance.
- 1:10Hanan: Um, and for everybody who knows me, you guys know I don't do any more than four hours in any direction.
- 1:15Hanan: So it's very happy that I don't have to do that anymore.
- 1:17Lina: Yes.
- 1:18Lina: Anyway, how did we meet?
- 1:20Lina: Yeah, I'll let you take this.
- 1:22Speaker 2: You really want to go through that?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Okay, well, I've known Lina longer.
- 1:26Speaker 2: We met in an Ordenia school in Palestine.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I don't remember the year, but it was definitely the 1990s.
- 1:35Lina: 1995 to 96.
- 1:37Lina: Okay.
- 1:37Lina: And Dana hated me.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I did not hate you.
- 1:40Speaker 2: You hated me.
- 1:41Lina: She hated me.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I did not hate you.
- 1:43Lina: Big time.
- 1:44Lina: I was afraid of you.
- 1:45Lina: Okay.
- 1:45Lina: All right.
- 1:46Lina: Please tell us more.
- 1:46Lina: Please elaborate.
- 1:47Lina: I don't know about afraid.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I mean, but No, we were afraid.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Lina's class was two years older.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Um, so it was just a very small school.
- 2:00Lina: You guys were just, you know, you were the older class and just you know.
- 2:04Lina: It's okay.
- 2:04Lina: You can call me a bully, then that's okay.
- 2:06Lina: No.
- 2:07Speaker 2: We're like, you weren't mean bully, like name-calling bullying.
- 2:11Speaker 2: No, no, I wasn't like that.
- 2:12Speaker 2: More just like, let me wait till you walk down the hall and we're all gonna grab you.
- 2:16Speaker 2: But you know what?
- 2:17Lina: No, but no, no, but it wasn't like just to a specific person.
- 2:20Lina: We just did that to everybody.
- 2:21Lina: To our class.
- 2:22Lina: Yeah, it wasn't just me.
- 2:22Lina: But it was just Lina.
- 2:24Lina: Like, we weren't actually hurting you guys.
- 2:25Lina: We would sing these songs in Arabic, and then you'd you guys would songs.
- 2:30Lina: Um it would be like, I don't, I don't remember the songs, but it was like these old falahi songs.
- 2:35Lina: And then you guys would run in because what we would do, Hanan, like they'd they'd walk that we'd have two people, like two rows of people from my side.
- 2:41Lina: I remember very vividly.
- 2:42Lina: I remember vividly vividly.
- 2:44Hanan: So basically, what you're saying is you remember very vividly how you bullied them.
- 2:47Hanan: Yeah, we didn't, it wasn't bullying, it was just very fun.
- 2:49Hanan: I think it was.
- 2:50Hanan: You know, they just walked by like as we're telling these stories.
- 2:53Hanan: I just want to tell the people, I am my ADHD is out of control right now.
- 2:58Hanan: Like, there is so much happening.
- 3:00Hanan: I'm not even there's so much happening, I'm like this.
- 3:02Hanan: Is it the dog?
- 3:03Hanan: It's it's no, the dog is fine, but it's just I can't help it.
- 3:06Hanan: So if you see me looking in other directions, I am I hear there are stories.
- 3:09Hanan: I'm just, you know, I'm looking at the dog and I'm looking at the child, I'm looking at the dog, and I'm looking at the child, and I can't help it.
- 3:15Hanan: Like, it's just that my way my brain works.
- 3:17Lina: Okay, so let me just let me get back to Lina being a bully.
- 3:20Lina: No, no, wait, wait.
- 3:21Lina: But you you never so I'm glad you actually didn't think I was a mean bully.
- 3:24Lina: Just no, okay.
- 3:25Lina: It wasn't like just a regular bully.
- 3:26Lina: Oh shoot.
- 3:30Lina: Okay, I'm gonna stay away from her kind of thing.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and like we didn't want to walk down the hall because we just didn't want to be messed with, but it wasn't like I'm a because I'm not mean.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I'm not mean.
- 3:39Lina: Okay, and then when did we meet again?
- 3:41Hanan: I just love how she says I'm not mean and like affirms it for herself.
- 3:44Hanan: Like, didn't give her a chance to answer, didn't I'm not mean, yeah.
- 3:47Hanan: No, I'm not mean.
- 3:48Hanan: She said she never thought I was a mean boy.
- 3:50Hanan: She has to say that.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Not true.
- 3:53Speaker 2: No.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Um, no, she wasn't, it wasn't her just her.
- 3:58Hanan: It wasn't just me.
- 3:58Hanan: I need you to just pause and think about this.
- 4:00Hanan: What kind of bullies are not mean?
- 4:03Hanan: She wasn't a bully though.
- 4:05Hanan: See?
- 4:05Hanan: What was she?
- 4:06Speaker 2: She was just, you know, they were just having fun, messing around.
- 4:10Hanan: They just hazed you guys.
- 4:11Hanan: Yeah, they yes, okay, but that's not good either, okay?
- 4:14Hanan: We don't condone that either.
- 4:15Lina: No.
- 4:15Lina: It wasn't like beside the kind of it's not actual hazing.
- 4:18Lina: Okay.
- 4:19Lina: Anyway, Dana, when you when when was the next time we met?
- 4:24Speaker 2: So uh we met years later.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I had lived in the same area for just a brief couple of years, and we ended up working at the same company.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah, new station.
- 4:36Speaker 2: We were at a new station together, yes.
- 4:38Speaker 2: And I had met Hanan already.
- 4:41Hanan: Yeah.
- 4:42Hanan: Okay.
- 4:42Hanan: Um, and then for perspective guys, that was like 22 years ago.
- 4:46Hanan: Yeah.
- 4:46Lina: Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 2: It's a long time ago.
- 4:48Lina: And then you met Amjet, my husband.
- 4:51Lina: And then he tells he tells me, you don't remember this, do you?
- 4:55Lina: You were, you know, Amjad's a realtor.
- 4:58Lina: Yeah.
- 4:58Lina: Okay.
- 4:59Lina: And you were out with him.
- 5:00Lina: Okay.
- 5:00Lina: And then he comes home.
- 5:02Lina: He comes home.
- 5:03Lina: It's funny because I'm gonna be honest about my initial reaction.
- 5:06Lina: Okay, yeah, it's like that.
- 5:09Lina: So so Amjad comes home.
- 5:10Lina: He's like, oh my God, I met someone who said they went to school with you.
- 5:14Lina: I'm like, who?
- 5:14Lina: And then he's like, her name is Dana.
- 5:16Lina: And I'm like, Dana, who?
- 5:18Lina: He's like, she went to remember me.
- 5:19Lina: No, no, no, I just wanted to make sure.
- 5:21Hanan: And he was just another person she bullied on the regular.
- 5:24Hanan: So, you know, another victim.
- 5:25Hanan: She doesn't remember all her victims.
- 5:27Lina: Listen, listen.
- 5:28Lina: So he goes, he goes, she went to Odinia with you.
- 5:31Lina: Her name is Dana.
- 5:32Lina: Blah blah blah.
- 5:33Lina: I'm like, oh my God.
- 5:34Lina: I'm like, ugh, like this is me.
- 5:36Lina: I'm like, she was kind of like annoying.
- 5:40Speaker 3: So like, I don't know what I did to you.
- 5:42Lina: Are you just are you shocked about it?
- 5:44Lina: I'm like, she's nice, but like, yeah, she was too bad.
- 5:47Hanan: But I'm like, You were mean.
- 5:48Hanan: See, I just see it back.
- 5:51Hanan: You know what?
- 5:52Hanan: This makes me so kind of because I feel like this just comes to light on its own.
- 5:55Hanan: Do you see what I'm saying?
- 5:56Hanan: Like, I don't have to say anything.
- 5:57Hanan: But listen, listen.
- 5:59Lina: So I'm just like, wow, she seemed really nice, you know?
- 6:01Lina: And I'm like, yeah, she is.
- 6:03Lina: I'm just like, you know, in high school, we used to like mess with them a lot, ninth grade, you know.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Um came like back to you.
- 6:08Lina: It all came back to me.
- 6:09Lina: Okay, yeah.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And then I got to meet her at work, and then that's when the we quickly, because you guys were already besties, and then they just kind of took me under their wing.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:21Hanan: And I mean, honestly, guys, we worked in a bala.
- 6:24Hanan: Like, literally, you gotta try.
- 6:26Hanan: It's a drain, okay.
- 6:27Hanan: And so, like, when you're in a drain and you're like stuck with filth, you're like, let me cling on to the only decent people with me.
- 6:35Hanan: Yeah, so it kind of worked out for the three people.
- 6:37Lina: But what was your first impression of Hanan?
- 6:39Lina: She thought I was Mexican.
- 6:43Hanan: Don't lie to the people.
- 6:44Hanan: It's okay, it's okay.
- 6:46Hanan: A lot of people think I'm Hispanic, you're not alone.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I didn't know where you were from, and I just I didn't assume you were Arab either.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Uh no, she just said that I was Mexican.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Don't lie.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I thought maybe.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:02Lina: But what was your first impression?
- 7:03Lina: Was did you like the vibe?
- 7:04Lina: Oh, she was so sweet and fun.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Sweet and fun.
- 7:10unknown: Yeah.
- 7:11Lina: And Hana, what was your first impression?
- 7:13Hanan: I like everyone.
- 7:15Hanan: I thought she was great.
- 7:16Hanan: No, I said I thought she was great.
- 7:19Lina: I was Yeah, Nainty, you lumped her in with everybody else.
- 7:21Lina: What is it?
- 7:22Lina: You lumped her in with everybody else.
- 7:23Hanan: But when I meet, I don't judge people like you as soon as I meet them.
- 7:26Hanan: I don't judge anyone.
- 7:28Hanan: Look at the person, I have a conversation with them, and I was like, oh, she's nice.
- 7:32Hanan: Okay.
- 7:32Hanan: I'd love to see her again.
- 7:34Hanan: Okay.
- 7:34Hanan: Um, and then we ended up working together, so it was really nice.
- 7:37Hanan: Yeah.
- 7:37Hanan: It was actually my husband who told me that she's gonna be working with us.
- 7:40Lina: I was like, oh, that's nice.
- 7:41Lina: As a makeup artist.
- 7:42Lina: Yeah.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:43Speaker 2: That's probably all uh, I feel like because I did a wedding, a bride, and I think we all said that.
- 7:48Speaker 2: We all went and we talked about makeup.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 7:51Lina: We hit it off about it.
- 7:52Lina: We hit it off.
- 7:52Lina: Okay.
- 7:53Lina: All right.
- 7:54Lina: So do you guys want to talk about what's your funniest memory out of all the three of us this trio?
- 7:59Hanan: Oh man.
- 8:00Hanan: Funniest?
- 8:01Hanan: Funniest.
- 8:03Lina: I mean, your wedding, your wedding uh situation was funny, kind of.
- 8:06Hanan: There is it was funny after the fact, not before.
- 8:08Hanan: Not before, yeah, not before.
- 8:09Hanan: But uh, I will say that we've had lots of like here's the nice thing about this, right?
- 8:13Hanan: Sometimes when you meet people, there is this like instantaneous, I don't know, it's almost like it's it's uh it's like a chemical reaction.
- 8:22Hanan: Oh no, yeah, or connection, chemical reaction, connection.
- 8:25Hanan: So it was really nice because I felt like everything kind of worked out, and it's very hard to find people in your life that not only you get along with, but no, you can actually like live life with, right?
- 8:37Hanan: You have good moments, bad moments, sad moments, happy moments, and so that is so rare.
- 8:43Hanan: So I feel very lucky, right?
- 8:45Hanan: Um, we've had lots of funny moments.
- 8:47Hanan: I mean, this one I've subjected to a lot of random things.
- 8:51Hanan: Like I every time I visit her, you know.
- 8:53Hanan: Well, like you too, but you once a week against her will.
- 8:56Hanan: But I don't know, we just I don't know.
- 8:58Hanan: I feel like we laugh all the time.
- 8:59Hanan: All the time.
- 9:00Hanan: All the time.
- 9:00Lina: Like it's it's really nice.
- 9:01Lina: Give me a specific one.
- 9:02Lina: Come on, guys.
- 9:03Lina: What's what's a funny moment?
- 9:05Hanan: I mean, honestly, when we work together, I think the amount of time we trash talk people.
- 9:09Hanan: And the funny thing is, is like she used to sit in the makeup room, and the makeup room had no windows and only one door, like same in, same out.
- 9:15Hanan: So if we're sitting in a small room talking trash about people, somebody's bound to come and walk in on us and be like, and we don't have D.
- 9:22Hanan: No, it's fine.
- 9:23Hanan: So you guys don't want to talk about the French restaurant situation?
- 9:26Lina: You guys don't want to mention that at all.
- 9:28Lina: Honestly, I think my hatred of French food.
- 9:31Hanan: No, but I think you're the only one that's traumatized by it.
- 9:33Lina: So like Dan is too.
- 9:35Lina: It's horrible.
- 9:35Lina: No, she's not a trauma thing.
- 9:37Lina: Yeah, but she's not traumatized by it.
- 9:39Lina: But I'm not traumatized either.
- 9:40Lina: It's stupid, it's a stupid restaurant.
- 9:41Lina: But it was like stupid.
- 9:42Lina: It wasn't a stupid restaurant.
- 9:43Lina: Linda just has a little bit of a stupid restaurant.
- 9:45Lina: It was limited.
- 9:46Lina: Okay, what they served.
- 9:47Lina: We ordered chicken and they served me something completely different than chicken.
- 9:51Lina: Some interesting shape.
- 9:52Lina: Yes.
- 9:52Lina: In an inappropriate shape, we cannot talk about.
- 9:55Hanan: Honestly, you guys can figure it out.
- 9:57Hanan: But uh but it it but no, it's it's I'm sorry.
- 10:02Hanan: Limited palette.
- 10:04Lina: Whatever.
- 10:04Lina: I mean, it was funny, but Dana, do you have anything do you remember about Hanan specifically that's like you know, funny or me?
- 10:12Speaker 2: Oh man, um, her wedding was a lot of do you want to share this?
- 10:15Speaker 2: People want stories.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Stop singing while she's talking.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Um, well, it was kind of an awkward time in my life personally, but um it's okay, you can tell them.
- 10:28Hanan: She was going through a divorce.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yes.
- 10:29Speaker 2: And I was also doing her makeup, and so there were there were awkward moments because I was there with my ex.
- 10:38Hanan: In the limo.
- 10:39unknown: Yeah.
- 10:40Hanan: As we were going to take our wedding photos.
- 10:42Hanan: Yeah.
- 10:42Hanan: So that was so much fun.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I was just a really yeah, it was a it was a very awkward time.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Um, actually, the funniest story that day was more about, you know, you forgetting my dress.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's what I was talking about.
- 10:53Speaker 2: So my dad insisted, yeah.
- 10:56Hanan: He insisted that he will bring Dana's dress.
- 10:58Hanan: He's like, Don't worry, I got it, I got it, I got it.
- 11:00Hanan: It was like 45 minutes away.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Heated.
- 11:03Hanan: So and then what is it?
- 11:05Speaker 2: Why was he in charge of my dress?
- 11:07Hanan: I think because you were with me in the limo, right?
- 11:10Hanan: Yeah.
- 11:10Hanan: So you had brought your dress with you, and he said, Don't worry, I'm gonna make sure I put it in my car and bring it with you.
- 11:15Lina: Yeah, but Danny was doing the makeup, and she was, they went, Hanan and Mahmoud went to do the pictures and it was.
- 11:20Lina: Yeah, downtown in DC.
- 11:21Lina: Um, yeah.
- 11:22Hanan: So you were with me in the limo, so it's not like you could be dressed all day.
- 11:24Hanan: It was also July, so it was really hot.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It was, it was 45 minutes away.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I know it was so he insisted haram that Jinan take me back to your house to get the dress, and I'm changing it.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Well, also, like I told him, I said, I'm it's okay, like, let's just go on with the wedding, and he like looked me up and down and was like, No, you need to change.
- 11:39Hanan: I don't think, and it's funny because my sister always recounts this story.
- 11:42Hanan: She's like, I was driving so fast between Virginia and Maryland over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and she's like, and I look over, and this woman is just changing it just in my car, right?
- 11:53Hanan: Living her best life.
- 11:55Hanan: Okay.
- 11:55Hanan: Then, like you kind of started it about the bag situation.
- 12:00Hanan: That was always a funny one.
- 12:02Hanan: Oh my god, that was amazing.
- 12:03Hanan: That was it when we worked together.
- 12:04Hanan: So Lina haters.
- 12:05Hanan: Well, haters no Lina had this beautiful, questionable um, you know, her renegade days.
- 12:14Hanan: Like, she's such a tough ass.
- 12:17Hanan: Yeah, she had a bag.
- 12:18Hanan: How big was it?
- 12:19Lina: It was a messenger bag.
- 12:20Lina: Yeah.
- 12:21Hanan: It was pretty big.
- 12:21Hanan: And it had Chu Givara on it.
- 12:24Lina: Okay.
- 12:24Lina: It was like painted or something.
- 12:25Lina: You've mentioned this on a podcast before, Hannan.
- 12:28Lina: Hater.
- 12:28Lina: Okay, yeah.
- 12:29Lina: Okay, I've mentioned it again.
- 12:30Lina: Sorry.
- 12:30Lina: Why are you so mad?
- 12:31Lina: No, no, go ahead.
- 12:32Lina: Tell the story.
- 12:33Lina: Because it is funny.
- 12:33Lina: I mean, I can admit when something's funny.
- 12:36Hanan: You were just thinking that was just so accusatory.
- 12:39Hanan: Do you feel like do you feel like it's an right?
- 12:42Hanan: You feel like it's an accusation.
- 12:44Speaker 2: No, it was just a funny time when Hanan just started saying, like, she and Lina would walk into like our break room and I would say, you can't sit with us.
- 12:52Lina: Because of my bag, because apparently my bag was ugly.
- 12:54Lina: Yeah, your bag's ugly and big.
- 12:56Lina: Can't sit on this.
- 12:57Lina: And for the record, Dana has not uh tagged team against me since I've been here.
- 13:03Hanan: Yeah, she was a little worried about that.
- 13:04Lina: Yeah, she has not tagged him against me.
- 13:06Lina: She's been very welcoming, she's a great host.
- 13:08Lina: Okay.
- 13:09Hanan: She says, Don't even get me started.
- 13:13Hanan: Don't even get me started.
- 13:14Hanan: Because we started this morning with her opening her eyes and going, oh, like she like there was an exorcism happening.
- 13:23Hanan: And I'm like, what is happening, right?
- 13:26Lina: She's like, I just woke up in a bad mood.
- 13:28Lina: Well, we're sharing a hotel room, Hanan and I.
- 13:30Lina: You're lucky.
- 13:32Lina: You should be so lucky.
- 13:33Lina: I'm not saying, did I say I'm just I'm giving people they they're gonna be like, where did Hana hear Lina get up and say that?
- 13:38Lina: So I'm just filling them in.
- 13:39Lina: Okay, anyway.
- 13:41Speaker 2: That is not how is that how you took it?
- 13:42Speaker 2: I was in your road trip here, it was good.
- 13:44Speaker 2: It's very good.
- 13:45Speaker 2: So you guys are good travel buddies.
- 13:47Speaker 2: We are, we are.
- 13:47Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 13:48Lina: All jokes aside, all jokes aside, let's be serious.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Okay, all jokes are gonna think it's funny, like anything that we're talking about, by the way.
- 13:54Speaker 2: They're probably gonna be like, that's a stupid story.
- 13:56Lina: No, it's not, it's an amazing story.
- 13:59Hanan: So think about it like this.
- 13:59Hanan: And I and I think it's funny whenever we have a guest on the podcast, even if it's like like you're one of our best friends, right?
- 14:04Hanan: Like, this is I'm telling you, we literally now the pie is complete, right?
- 14:09Hanan: Okay, the fact that she treats me like a chew.
- 14:13Hanan: Like, what can she just do?
- 14:14Hanan: You know what?
- 14:15Hanan: I'm gonna talk with this hand so I can be expensive.
- 14:17Lina: Okay, wait a second, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 14:19Lina: You cannot flail the mic like this.
- 14:24Hanan: This is what I have to deal with.
- 14:25Lina: I'm just saying, this is what I have to deal with.
- 14:27Lina: You guys know.
- 14:28Lina: Yeah, well, you're not the one editing after.
- 14:30Lina: You can't.
- 14:31Lina: We can't keep fighting in front of the people.
- 14:33Lina: Ya lay.
- 14:34Lina: Finish your thoughts.
- 14:34Lina: Okay, let's go on to the next.
- 14:38Lina: Okay.
- 14:39Lina: Um, have we ever had any fights or disagreements?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Disagreements, sure.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah, about everything.
- 14:46Speaker 2: And we're human, but fights, no.
- 14:48Speaker 2: No, no fights.
- 14:50Lina: No fighting.
- 14:50Lina: I mean, me Hanan tries to pretend like she hates everything I do or say sometimes, but everything?
- 14:56Lina: I'm just joking.
- 14:57Lina: That is such a like statement.
- 15:01Lina: This right here is just it's for fun.
- 15:03Lina: It's a debater.
- 15:04Lina: Yeah.
- 15:04Lina: She has a lot of information.
- 15:07Hanan: But it's a debater.
- 15:07Hanan: Thank you.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:08Hanan: Debater, yes.
- 15:09Hanan: But it's not even about a lot of information.
- 15:10Hanan: It's just sometimes you have to pause and try to see things from the other person's perspective.
- 15:18Lina: But no, no, but we don't fight.
- 15:19Lina: No.
- 15:20Lina: We're not like that.
- 15:21Lina: We don't have that kind of uh I mean, like my I told you, Raya was telling me, she's like, Oh my god, you're traveling with Khalto Hanan.
- 15:26Lina: I'm like, Yeah, she's like, oh my god, though.
- 15:28Lina: She's like, be careful because usually that's when friendships end when they travel together and then they find out who the other person really is.
- 15:34Lina: And I'm like, it's okay, how you do we've traveled together, we're fine, you know.
- 15:39Lina: Like it's it's okay.
- 15:40Lina: And Hanan, like, you know, she went to bed singing for me last night.
- 15:43Lina: It's pure entertainment.
- 15:44Hanan: Yeah.
- 15:44Hanan: I do what I can and I do it for the people.
- 15:45Hanan: Yes, yes, that's my statement in life.
- 15:48Hanan: I do what I can and do it for the people.
- 15:49Lina: Yes.
- 15:50Lina: Okay, so tell me, how have we changed?
- 15:53Lina: A lot.
- 15:54Lina: Yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I mean, we're a lot older.
- 15:57Speaker 2: That's true.
- 15:58Speaker 2: We've become mothers, married several years, handlack.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Different jobs.
- 16:06Speaker 2: That's true.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Different things in life that happen.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You have to change.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Life changes too.
- 16:12Lina: But did our personalities change at all?
- 16:16Speaker 2: Probably a little bit.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like people change.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I don't think like how we treat each other or how our dynamic or anything changes.
- 16:24Speaker 2: No, no, definitely.
- 16:24Speaker 2: We can even go long times and not speak text, and the second we're together, it's sad.
- 16:33Lina: Yeah.
- 16:33Lina: Hana, do you think Dana has changed?
- 16:36Lina: It could be a good change.
- 16:38Lina: It doesn't have to be a negative change.
- 16:40Hanan: No, it's not so much about change.
- 16:42Hanan: I will say I am very proud of you.
- 16:43Hanan: Yes.
- 16:44Lina: Okay.
- 16:45Hanan: Grown as a person, when faced with life's challenges, yes.
- 16:49Hanan: I'm always very much so.
- 16:51Hanan: The correct word is like in awe, right?
- 16:53Hanan: Of the things that you do.
- 16:56Lina: I I second, I second that.
- 16:57Lina: Okay.
- 16:58Lina: Yeah, definitely.
- 16:59Hanan: No, because I look at like things that you do with your son.
- 17:01Hanan: Like, I don't think I could be able to do that.
- 17:02Hanan: And the things like the healthy choices you make for your family.
- 17:05Hanan: Like, I would not be reading labels.
- 17:06Hanan: I get it.
- 17:07Hanan: I see the dyes.
- 17:08Hanan: I understand what you're doing, but the reason that you do all this stuff, I think, comes from like a very noble place, and it does take a lot of work.
- 17:14Hanan: Yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 2: You should be proud of yourself.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I appreciate you guys saying that.
- 17:18Lina: She did tell us that if you guys want certain snacks, you're gonna have to get them.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I'm joking.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'm joking.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I would have gotten them for you and then packed them up for you.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I have the text message.
- 17:28Lina: Um no, I don't I think because we told her we're going to Target to buy a couple of things.
- 17:34Lina: She's like, if you guys want something specific, because you know, obviously her house has no what, no dyes, no chemicals, no, it's like no, I think it's I it's not just it's not just about healthy.
- 17:44Hanan: I think it's like your stance on the reason for why you do this and the fact that it's like for you.
- 17:48Hanan: I always say, look, when we have one member of our family that we have to do specific things for, right?
- 17:56Hanan: What I think is awesome is that you made a lifestyle change for your entire family.
- 18:00Hanan: And I think that that's really hard to do.
- 18:02Hanan: And you do all because I mean, think about it like this.
- 18:04Hanan: If you didn't have to make this lifestyle change for your son, would you have eventually made it?
- 18:08Hanan: I don't think so.
- 18:09Hanan: But I think like educating yourself, reading, seeing like what type of foods like, you know, what type of foods like feed your brain or feed your body or feed your muscles and what dyes can do for you or what processed sugar can do for you.
- 18:22Hanan: White sugar versus cane sugar versus brown sugar.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:24Hanan: Like you should be proud of yourself.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Well, thank you.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I mean, I definitely started because of him, and then you just the more I mean you know what is it?
- 18:32Speaker 2: You know better, you do better.
- 18:34Speaker 2: You exactly you can't not read about the crap in our food here and not change.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 18:38Speaker 2: You just know I agree with you.
- 18:39Speaker 2: And some people might ignore it and not want to read it, and that's okay too, but and she's not annoying about it.
- 18:47Lina: She's not like judgmental if you end up eating something like, oh my god, I can't believe you're eating that, you know?
- 18:51Lina: You're yeah, yeah, she's not like she's we wouldn't be friends with her anymore if she's awesome.
- 18:56Hanan: Yeah, no, but I do think it's awesome.
- 18:57Hanan: I do think that that that's one thing I always like, I really appreciate about you.
- 19:00Hanan: Look, anybody for me, like you know, anybody in my realm that chooses to make this type of change decision, right?
- 19:09Hanan: And educates themselves and then educates the people around them, it's uh it's hard work.
- 19:13Hanan: I don't think people realize it is actually hard work.
- 19:15Hanan: So, like, you know, kudos to you.
- 19:17Hanan: Since you're asking how she changed, you know.
- 19:19Hanan: Has Henan changed at all?
- 19:23Speaker 2: No, not at the core, no.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Uh I yeah, I think again, I feel like I'd be like 17, you know.
- 19:29Speaker 2: You yeah, I mean, life happens and a lot of things they kind of force you to change a little bit, or even change the way you think or the way you approach something.
- 19:39Speaker 2: But I mean, I would say the same about you, both of you.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I mean, right back at you.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I'm in awe of you guys.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I'm so, so fortunate to have you guys as my friends.
- 19:47Speaker 2: I don't, I mean to sound like such a loner.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I don't have a lot of friends.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I have loner.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I have the same, same friends and best friends, and I um I'm very fortunate to have you guys.
- 20:01Lina: I just wanna I we feel the same way, but I just want to point something out.
- 20:05Lina: Did you notice how you said you don't have a lot of friends?
- 20:08Lina: And she's like, it's okay, it's okay.
- 20:10Lina: But when I say that You have moved 800 times, okay?
- 20:15Lina: When I say that, you don't want to meet new people.
- 20:18Lina: You're so difficult.
- 20:20Hanan: Okay, can we just okay?
- 20:21Hanan: Look, first of all, let's talk about this.
- 20:23Hanan: How many times in the last 10 years have you moved homes?
- 20:29Speaker 2: 10 years?
- 20:29Hanan: Yeah.
- 20:30Hanan: How about this?
- 20:31Hanan: How about since you and your husband, since you and Sophie got married?
- 20:34Hanan: Cities are homes.
- 20:35Hanan: Let's say cities and homes, neighborhoods, cities, homes, neighborhoods, you know.
- 20:40Hanan: Five five times in ten years, right?
- 20:45Hanan: Five times in ten years.
- 20:46Hanan: How many cities across those five times?
- 20:48Hanan: Three three cities.
- 20:51Hanan: How far away are these cities from each other?
- 20:54Speaker 2: Four.
- 20:54Hanan: He's sitting over here, that's why he's laughing because he's like, I'm not really sure either.
- 20:59Speaker 2: But we moved a lot for my husband's job.
- 21:02Speaker 2: How many times have you moved in the last 10 years?
- 21:05Lina: Not much.
- 21:05Lina: I mean, I'm gonna sit in the same place.
- 21:07Lina: Not much.
- 21:07Lina: Yeah, not at all is the answer.
- 21:09Lina: No, I moved a couple of times in 10 years?
- 21:12Lina: In 10 years, no.
- 21:13Lina: I the question is sorry, I did I wasn't paying attention.
- 21:16Hanan: Okay, in 10 years, okay, Lina, how long have you lived in our area for?
- 21:20Hanan: Twenty six.
- 21:22Hanan: I rest my case.
- 21:24Hanan: Twenty-six years.
- 21:24Hanan: I rest my case friends or twenty-seven.
- 21:27Speaker 2: But Lina's the same.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Like, we don't like if if she is gonna go out or hang out with somebody, it is gonna be I will say, guys.
- 21:35Speaker 2: With uh her like with her friends, people, yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 2: It's my people.
- 21:39Hanan: It's been so nice because we've been going out at night here.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:42Hanan: It's been fantastic.
- 21:43Hanan: What time did we sleep last night, Hanan?
- 21:46Hanan: We were in the hotel room.
- 21:48Hanan: It was a little after 3 a.m.
- 21:50Lina: No, not in the we would got to the hotel room at 12 30.
- 21:52Hanan: Yeah, yeah, but we just stayed up.
- 21:54Hanan: We were we were chatting and talking.
- 21:55Lina: We weren't chatting, Hanan was singing.
- 21:57Hanan: You know what?
- 21:58Lina: But it's good, I enjoyed it.
- 21:59Lina: You know what?
- 21:59Hanan: I'm gonna Need a break after we go home.
- 22:01Lina: Yeah, whatever.
- 22:02Lina: I'm stuck to you.
- 22:04Hanan: I'm gonna need a break.
- 22:05Hanan: This has been the most like abusive three days I've spent in quite some time.
- 22:12Hanan: Wow.
- 22:13Hanan: Stop fronting.
- 22:14Hanan: Complaints, complaints, complaints, complaints.
- 22:17Hanan: Yeah, and yeah, got usralamber.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Lina, do you think Hanan has changed?
- 22:22Lina: No.
- 22:23unknown: Okay.
- 22:23Lina: Hanan is a real one.
- 22:25Lina: Yeah.
- 22:26Lina: She's always gonna be a real one.
- 22:27Speaker 2: For sure.
- 22:28Lina: And she's always gonna be there for us.
- 22:29Lina: Thank you.
- 22:30Lina: There's just been drift in here.
- 22:31Lina: There's nothing else.
- 22:32Lina: They have coffee.
- 22:32Lina: They have adult drinks.
- 22:33Lina: I already had a lot of coffee today.
- 22:34Lina: You make it seem adult drinks like uh.
- 22:36Lina: No, no, no, coffee.
- 22:37Lina: Like caffeine.
- 22:38Lina: Okay.
- 22:39Lina: No, but no, Hanan is the best.
- 22:40Lina: I I think she's she's the same person I met all those years ago.
- 22:45Hanan: Oh my god, a long time ago.
- 22:46Lina: Yeah.
- 22:47Hanan: I know, a long time ago.
- 22:48Hanan: Yeah.
- 22:48Lina: Because if she wasn't the same person, we probably our our our friendship wouldn't have survived this long.
- 22:54Lina: You're so, so different, but it so so works.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:00Hanan: Oh, our personality.
- 23:00Hanan: But you're like the person in the middle.
- 23:03Hanan: Have you realized that?
- 23:03Hanan: That's true.
- 23:04Hanan: Oh, you guys want to talk about that?
- 23:07Hanan: Go ahead, go ahead, share it.
- 23:09Hanan: Go ahead.
- 23:09Hanan: Just to give you guys some perspective, when we were working on lighting, I had Dana's husband come sit in my seat because him and I are the same color.
- 23:15Hanan: Thank God there's somebody in this house that I identify with color-wise, right?
- 23:19Hanan: But uh, but yeah, no, but have you thought that you're like perfectly in the middle of that?
- 23:23Hanan: No, but I'm honored.
- 23:26Hanan: No, what I mean by like thinking about like where on the spectrum we are, right?
- 23:30Hanan: You're literally the halfway point between the two of us.
- 23:33Hanan: Yeah.
- 23:34Hanan: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 23:35Hanan: I think certain things you lean in.
- 23:37Hanan: He's the dog is here, guys.
- 23:38Hanan: He's mine.
- 23:39Hanan: Um, certain things, certain things.
- 23:41Hanan: I don't know what he's he's eating a napkin.
- 23:42Hanan: He got a paper towel that I had on my lap.
- 23:47Hanan: It's okay, it's okay.
- 23:48Hanan: Here, let's it's okay.
- 23:49Lina: Let's take a pause because I gotta stop the thing in here.
- 23:52Hanan: So, like the dog, I had it, I had a paper towel, like a napkin in my lap, so that we can blot, you know, when the oils happen.
- 23:58Hanan: And as because I'm, you know, me and my undiagnosed ADHD, and I constantly move, I dropped it, and I hear the dog he ate the napkin.
- 24:08Hanan: But it's okay, it's like dinner, right?
- 24:10Hanan: He'll be all right as long as he's the sweetest dog, by the way.
- 24:15Hanan: I will say, so one thing I want to talk about is like one of the reasons we decided to do this, right?
- 24:20Hanan: Is one we love Dana, but two, like the importance of friendship.
- 24:23Hanan: I know that you guys see us together a lot.
- 24:25Hanan: I think it's important for you know, the folks who comment and watch, and we appreciate all of you to know that like there is other special people in our lives, but it really does make me pause and think like how much I appreciate friendships in my life, like specific friendships in my life.
- 24:41Hanan: I if you look, I appreciate all of my friends, truly.
- 24:44Hanan: Um, but there is something to be said with um I don't know, like friends that you've known for just it's not even about time.
- 24:52Hanan: Like I said, it's like this weird thing happens where kind of everything in the universe aligns, and you know, you all have a good time when you're together.
- 25:02Hanan: There isn't any um, I don't you don't feel like you have to hide anything or be a specific way and no eggshells.
- 25:09Hanan: Yeah, you just kind of say how you feel about it.
- 25:11Hanan: Exactly.
- 25:12Hanan: You say how you feel zero judgment.
- 25:14Hanan: Yeah, zero judgment.
- 25:15Hanan: Um one I'm very appreciative too of that, too.
- 25:19Hanan: Um it's just so nice.
- 25:22Hanan: I think like as we get older, right?
- 25:24Hanan: And I think you and I had this conversation.
- 25:27Hanan: It had been maybe like three or four years since we'd seen each other, and we both made a decision that we can't let that happen again.
- 25:34Hanan: Yeah, like it just has to be every year we need to see each other.
- 25:38Hanan: I think it's because we got together, it's such a great time, and I'm like, we're both like, what are we doing?
- 25:41Hanan: Why aren't we doing this?
- 25:42Hanan: Why are we doing this?
- 25:43Hanan: Like, what are we waiting for?
- 25:44Hanan: Yeah, and then I decided, you know, I'm like, I'm an adult, I have money and free will.
- 25:49Hanan: So I've just been going to visit Dana.
- 25:51Hanan: We sit in the house, do nothing except hang out.
- 25:54Hanan: Yeah, and he's come out to you guys a couple of times and we'll continue that.
- 25:59Hanan: Now it's easier.
- 25:59Hanan: Yeah, inshallah.
- 26:00Hanan: And this time I was just like shocked that Lina's like, I'm coming soon.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Continue it.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Inshallah.
- 26:05Hanan: I'm telling you, literally, we both just threw you so much shade.
- 26:08Hanan: She looked at you and I said, you know, I'm surprised Lina said she's coming.
- 26:11Hanan: Did you actually say that?
- 26:13Hanan: No, I said that.
- 26:14Hanan: Oh, I was up until the last minute.
- 26:18Hanan: I was like, I don't know.
- 26:20Hanan: Until she took her pumpkin spice latte days.
- 26:22Lina: It wasn't a pumpkin spice, it wasn't a paid sick wheel.
- 26:24Hanan: Until she put in her leave, I was like, I don't know.
- 26:27Hanan: I don't know if she's actually gonna make it.
- 26:29Hanan: I'm gonna do it.
- 26:30Hanan: She's gonna make it because Lina does not leave, like, you know, she leaves to go to work, she comes home from work, she gets into her bed.
- 26:37Lina: I was out.
- 26:37Lina: I was out with you guys the other day till 1 a.m.
- 26:40Lina: Okay.
- 26:43unknown: Cheers.
- 26:44Lina: I mean, I was yawning at like nine o'clock, ten o'clock, but we did it.
- 26:48Lina: We don't know.
- 26:49Lina: It's okay.
- 26:49Lina: It's not like every day.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's not like we have to be out that day.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I mean, I am happy to be out.
- 26:54Speaker 2: I'm right.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Do you stay out that late all the time?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Every time you walk?
- 26:57Hanan: Not all the time.
- 26:58Hanan: How would you know you're sleeping?
- 27:02Speaker 2: She's out every night.
- 27:03Speaker 2: She passed and do it all the time.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Not every night.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Like I feel the effects the next day.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Like I feel broken if I if I were to do that all the time.
- 27:10Lina: We old now.
- 27:11Lina: Yeah.
- 27:12Lina: Yeah, we are.
- 27:13Hanan: Some of us are okay with you know living our lives a specific way, but I like how she just passed judgment and she was like, You're out until one o'clock every day.
- 27:21Hanan: She does not know.
- 27:21Hanan: She is asleep.
- 27:22Hanan: Okay.
- 27:23Hanan: And if even if she's awake, she is in the house in her room in the dark.
- 27:27Hanan: So I don't know how you're gonna know what I'm doing with my life.
- 27:30Hanan: Okay.
- 27:31Hanan: So I don't appreciate that.
- 27:33Hanan: But it has been fun.
- 27:34Lina: It is, it's amazing.
- 27:35Lina: I'm telling you, it's been fun.
- 27:37Lina: I can definitely do this, but like every like once a year.
- 27:40Lina: I'm gonna take a picture twice a year.
- 27:41Lina: You can see our friend behind the scenes in production.
- 27:44Lina: So cute.
- 27:45Lina: Take a video, too.
- 27:46Hanan: Yeah, he's so cute.
- 27:47Lina: Behind behind the scenes, do horizontal.
- 27:49Hanan: Behind the scenes in production, right?
- 27:52Hanan: Here we go.
- 27:52Hanan: So cute.
- 27:53Hanan: Here's the rest of the knack.
- 27:55Lina: Can you do her horizontal, please?
- 27:57Hanan: I'll turn it around so you can cut it.
- 27:58Hanan: There you go.
- 27:59Hanan: Jack.
- 28:00Hanan: He's just looking at behind the dog.
- 28:01Hanan: He's so well behaved.
- 28:02Hanan: He's a really good dog.
- 28:03Hanan: Yes.
- 28:04Speaker 2: He's lovely.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Haram police is gonna come out.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Huh?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Huh?
- 28:08Speaker 2: I said the haram police is gonna come out.
- 28:11Lina: Oh, because she has a dog.
- 28:12Hanan: Oh, it's fine.
- 28:12Lina: Whatever.
- 28:13Lina: Um all right.
- 28:14Lina: So you guys have anything else you want?
- 28:16Lina: Because I wanna, there's a game I want to play.
- 28:18Hanan: Okay, we can play the game.
- 28:19Hanan: But yeah, no, I just wanted to say, you know, that I'm a pre- I'm thankful.
- 28:22Hanan: Okay, I am too.
- 28:24Lina: I think all jokes aside, I love that.
- 28:28Hanan: Guys, it has been a very difficult couple of days.
- 28:31Lina: I didn't shut that up up.
- 28:31Lina: No, it hasn't.
- 28:32Lina: No, it hasn't.
- 28:33Lina: Okay, I'm a great roommate.
- 28:36Lina: No, she's a great.
- 28:37Hanan: You know what I really like about Lina?
- 28:38Hanan: She's clean.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:41Hanan: Yeah, I mean personal.
- 28:42Lina: Yeah, like she picks it up here.
- 28:43Lina: I was gonna say something and then I stopped myself, no halas.
- 28:46Lina: No, nothing.
- 28:46Lina: No, what are we gonna say?
- 28:48Lina: What are you gonna say?
- 28:49Lina: Because you know, there's no shutoff in the in the um hotel room.
- 28:52Lina: Hanan is like freaking out.
- 28:54Lina: So she ordered a couple shutoffs for us.
- 28:55Hanan: I mean, guys, like put yourself in my shoes.
- 28:58Hanan: I mean, what what is expected, right?
- 29:00Speaker 2: This is I looked I didn't think a travel one existed, so no, but it's great.
- 29:04Speaker 2: And I forgot new.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 29:06Hanan: I forgot my travel one at home.
- 29:08Hanan: So I was like, no, we have to, this is this is a must.
- 29:11Hanan: Like, we're not savages.
- 29:12Hanan: I know.
- 29:13Hanan: Okay, what's your game?
- 29:14Lina: Okay, ready?
- 29:15Lina: Okay, so we're gonna ask uh Dana's husband to help.
- 29:18Lina: He's gonna ask us some questions, and then we're gonna point who we think this person, this question describes.
- 29:26Lina: Okay, you guys ready?
- 29:27Lina: Yes, all right.
- 29:28Lina: The answer to the question is and and uh Safi is behind the camera.
- 29:33Lina: He's being a producer for us today.
- 29:35Lina: Big voice, all right, big voice.
- 29:37Lina: Yeah, the first question.
- 29:39Speaker 3: The person I would trust to plan my vacation is okay.
- 29:45Lina: Hanan, definitely, definitely Hanan.
- 29:47Lina: Okay, both me and Jana.
- 29:49Lina: I'm just saying this.
- 29:50Lina: I'm so happy.
- 29:51Lina: Look at me, I'm like this.
- 29:52Lina: The reason I'm narrating is because it's gonna be an excursion like every day, though, and all that stuff.
- 29:57Lina: No, no, no, she's not like that.
- 29:59Hanan: I'm not I'm the one who likes to do yeah, she's more it's funny that you say that because in every person's life there's a planner, and the planner has a planner.
- 30:07Hanan: So for me, my planner is my sister.
- 30:08Lina: Yeah, like she's end to end.
- 30:10Lina: Everybody has a planner.
- 30:10Lina: No, I would she she basically like did everything for this trip.
- 30:14Lina: Okay, but like Anna, I like to plan it, and I like to do something like I'm I'm very adventurous.
- 30:18Lina: She's more like laid back, but she's a great planner.
- 30:21Lina: Yeah, no, like on vacation, I just want to put my feet up.
- 30:22Lina: Oh my god, you and me both.
- 30:25Lina: You're like, you're like, um, I can't no.
- 30:27Lina: Okay, Safi, let's go.
- 30:29Speaker 2: The person I would call if I needed to hide a body is um Yeah, probably Lina.
- 30:36Lina: Yeah.
- 30:36Lina: So Hanan and Dana, I'd go to the police.
- 30:40Lina: Okay, I don't know about that.
- 30:42Hanan: Okay.
- 30:42Hanan: I'm not going to the police.
- 30:43Lina: I'm just leaving the I'm just narrating, guys, because of the people who who are listening to the podcast and not watching.
- 30:48Lina: I'm just I would leave the country straight up.
- 30:50Lina: But if you had but if you couldn't leave the country, you two would come to me.
- 30:54Lina: Yeah.
- 30:55Lina: Yeah.
- 30:56Hanan: I mean, you do have good backyard space.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 2: The person most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse is 100%.
- 31:09Hanan: Okay, I'm just gonna fall and cry.
- 31:10Hanan: Oh my god, we're not falling and crying.
- 31:12Hanan: You and I are getting eaten first.
- 31:14Lina: So man and Dana uh pointed at me.
- 31:16Lina: They like me.
- 31:16Lina: Okay.
- 31:17Hanan: Tell me I'm wrong though.
- 31:18Hanan: Wouldn't we wouldn't you just be like, okay, eat me, we're done?
- 31:20Hanan: Yeah, 100%.
- 31:21Hanan: When am I gonna survive?
- 31:22Hanan: You guys aren't even gonna fight?
- 31:24Lina: Absolutely not.
- 31:24Lina: You have to fight.
- 31:25Lina: You have to fight.
- 31:26Lina: No, no, I don't know.
- 31:27Lina: You become a zombie.
- 31:29Lina: No, yeah, it's a zombie.
- 31:32Speaker 2: We'll come look for you.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Okay, no, I'm good.
- 31:33Speaker 2: All right, all right.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Murder and zombies like you, like, I'm not gonna get any of these.
- 31:37Speaker 2: You know I'm not exactly the person most likely to lie their way out of a speeding ticket.
- 31:43Lina: Definitely Dana.
- 31:44Lina: I would think so too.
- 31:45Lina: Definitely Dana.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I was gonna be like, and I'd get out of it.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah, good.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I've only had one my whole life.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Okay, that's good.
- 31:52Speaker 2: The person most likely to leave a party without saying goodbye.
- 31:58Lina: 100% definitely me.
- 32:00Lina: Okay, so you guys saw that on the podcast.
- 32:02Lina: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 32:04Lina: Lina.
- 32:05Speaker 2: The person most likely to be in an argument with a stranger.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Lina, definitely.
- 32:10Lina: We've just talked about this later.
- 32:11Lina: But you know, I wrote these questions like uh two days ago.
- 32:16Lina: I believe it.
- 32:17Hanan: Yeah, but do you guys see how like literally perfect halfway point between the two of us?
- 32:23Speaker 2: Okay, the person most likely to disappear from the group chat.
- 32:28Lina: Lina, yeah, but I think any all of both of us.
- 32:30Lina: No.
- 32:30Lina: No, like all three of us, possibly.
- 32:33Lina: Who's gonna disappear?
- 32:34Hanan: Okay, I only disappeared one time in my life, and it's when my dad died.
- 32:37Hanan: I didn't even disappear.
- 32:38Hanan: I talked to the both of you guys.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Yeah, for you guys.
- 32:40Hanan: I mean, I am pretty bad.
- 32:41Lina: I am pretty literally I have to have a traumatic experience happen.
- 32:43Lina: Yeah, but no, but but with our with our relationship, though, it's okay if I disappear sometimes.
- 32:48Lina: But I mean, don't.
- 32:49Lina: Yeah, but I mean But if there is a person, it's probably gonna be it's gonna be Lina.
- 32:53Lina: It's gonna be Lina.
- 32:54Hanan: She's gonna disappear while she's pretending that her problem's not real.
- 32:59Lina: That's that's fair.
- 33:00Lina: Okay.
- 33:01Speaker 2: The person most likely to say I told you so, and enjoy every last night.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Definitely henan.
- 33:07Lina: Definitely an end.
- 33:08Lina: A hundred percent.
- 33:09Hanan: Yeah, at least let me tell you, I even put into myself Accountable.
- 33:12Hanan: Yes, I hold myself accountable.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Yeah, last one.
- 33:17Speaker 2: The person most likely to hold a grudge for 10 years.
- 33:21Hanan: Me?
- 33:23Speaker 2: Uh I think honey, would you like to do that?
- 33:26Speaker 2: When I say grudge, here's the thing.
- 33:28Hanan: Yeah.
- 33:28Hanan: This girl is an elephant.
- 33:29Hanan: She forgives, but she does not forget.
- 33:31Hanan: First of all, I'm offended you called me an elephant.
- 33:33Hanan: I don't think I have good memories.
- 33:37Hanan: Oh my god, absolutely.
- 33:38Hanan: She'd be like, remember.
- 33:39Hanan: Honey, do you remember?
- 33:40Hanan: Do you agree with that?
- 33:42Hanan: Tell me I'm wrong.
- 33:43Hanan: You're gonna get a memory.
- 33:44Hanan: No, this is judgment free, judgment free.
- 33:47Hanan: You get a free pass.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I don't forget because you guys have been such good friends, so it's not really hard to call.
- 33:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:54Hanan: Yeah.
- 33:54Hanan: You know what?
- 33:56Hanan: I'm gonna tell you something.
- 33:58Hanan: I do love that answer.
- 33:59Hanan: Good answer.
- 33:59Hanan: He's the one sleeping here tonight.
- 34:01Hanan: Exactly.
- 34:02Hanan: No, but I'll tell you what it is.
- 34:04Hanan: I Deanna is a wonderful friend.
- 34:06Hanan: It's okay.
- 34:06Hanan: And a wonderful, it's just so funny.
- 34:08Hanan: No, it's she's a wonderful look, she's a wonderful daughter, sibling, cousin, friend, everything.
- 34:14Hanan: And I think because she invests, and grudge is not the right word.
- 34:18Hanan: She invests so much of herself into relationships.
- 34:21Hanan: And I think when somebody breaks that trust or somebody hurts her, like I said, like elephants.
- 34:27Hanan: I say elephant because elephants have great memories.
- 34:29Hanan: You forgive people, you don't forget.
- 34:31Speaker 2: No, and I'm okay with just walking.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I feel now as I get older, I'm really okay with just walking away.
- 34:36Speaker 2: But grudge is not the right word, but you know what I mean.
- 34:38Hanan: I'm not wrong.
- 34:39Hanan: She's like, look, sipped down this path before.
- 34:42Hanan: You are not gonna hurt me either.
- 34:44Hanan: I don't forget.
- 34:45Hanan: No, I don't forget.
- 34:46Hanan: Yeah, you don't forget.
- 34:47Speaker 2: But I don't, yeah.
- 34:48Hanan: No, you're not trying to think of a grudge or whatever.
- 34:51Hanan: But that's okay.
- 34:54Lina: Yeah.
- 34:54Lina: You guys haven't.
- 34:55Hanan: Lina's also like that too, by the way.
- 34:56Lina: I that's what I was gonna say because it's between me and you, Danny.
- 34:59Lina: I think I will be honest, because I will I like like Hana said, I don't know if grudge is the right word, but if you did me wrong, I will never forget it.
- 35:07Lina: It doesn't mean I'm gonna hold a grudge, but it will be in the back of my mind.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm just really okay with anyway and not even like somebody's feelings don't matter more than mine.
- 35:18Lina: Like I'm okay with just being I mean, it doesn't, it doesn't mean that I'm not gonna talk to you.
- 35:22Lina: It's just it's gonna be there.
- 35:24Lina: And like I I can't forget.
- 35:26Lina: Yeah, you know, but it doesn't mean it's gonna be automated.
- 35:29Lina: Grudge is a very like grudge, I think grudge is not the right word.
- 35:32Hanan: There's some and here's the thing whether it's the right word or the wrong word, I think grudge has like a like a negative connotation where it makes people feel like okay, that person has something against, or you have something against that person.
- 35:42Hanan: It does have a negative.
- 35:43Hanan: I don't think it's that.
- 35:44Hanan: I think you guys are both of you guys.
- 35:47Hanan: Um, and I think you're you're you're a lot more sensitive than Lina.
- 35:52Hanan: Not that Lina's not sensitive, but everybody has, you know, it's different levels or whatever.
- 35:56Hanan: And you talk about your feelings.
- 35:59Hanan: Dana's better about talking about her feelings than Lina is, right?
- 36:01Hanan: So like 100%.
- 36:03Hanan: So she will get some of that out, right?
- 36:06Hanan: With only a certain group of people.
- 36:07Hanan: Lina hangs on to everything, and then she like talks to me like six to eight months after she's kind of over it.
- 36:14Hanan: I will talk to the woman who cleans my house about how I'm feeling and what happened and how could she do this.
- 36:22Hanan: Um, and I think I process my feelings just a lot more differently.
- 36:25Hanan: Like, so I just I kind of move on and I leave things behind me.
- 36:28Hanan: And whether it's like really big or really small, I think you guys, just because of the way that you process stuff, it's yeah, yeah, I definitely feel a lot.
- 36:35Hanan: Yeah, I can get my feelings hurt easily.
- 36:38Hanan: Yeah.
- 36:38Hanan: But it's not about it's not about harder.
- 36:40Hanan: I like I said, I think it's, you know, and it's not so much about who invests more than the other person.
- 36:47Hanan: I think when we we're all very different people, right?
- 36:51Hanan: We are all very different people, and I think that's actually why we get along 100%.
- 36:54Hanan: When I say that we're, it's like if you look at us on a line, um, Lina's at one end, I'm at one end, and Dana would be right in the middle of that line, right?
- 37:03Hanan: And like, and I what I love about her is that she kind of you know dances between where the two of us are.
- 37:08Hanan: No, true on opinions, on on a lot of different things.
- 37:12Hanan: And I think it's when we hang out together, it's a really wonderful, happy medium, right?
- 37:16Hanan: Um, I also think it's like I said, it's like what makes this like super awesome.
- 37:21Hanan: Yeah, uh, but in addition to that, I think the way we express our feelings is is really different.
- 37:27Hanan: I that's true.
- 37:28Hanan: I see that.
- 37:29Hanan: I agree with that.
- 37:29Hanan: Yeah, but I think both of you really in short, they would both hold a grudge.
- 37:34Lina: Okay, well, that was I think I think we're good for this episode because Dana's been, you know, she's been stressing about this this entire time.
- 37:42Hanan: So can you guys like leave comments?
- 37:44Hanan: Yeah, and that she looked beautiful.
- 37:46Hanan: Oh my god.
- 37:46Hanan: You don't it's really okay if you don't.
- 37:49Hanan: Better be nice.
- 37:50Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 37:50Speaker 2: I know I know, but they don't have to say anything.
- 37:52Speaker 2: No, look, they're not.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I'm just weird about being on camera.
- 37:54Hanan: I know, but look, here's the thing.
- 37:56Hanan: I don't know why I almost grabbed you by the neck, but it's okay.
- 37:58Hanan: My me and my expressive hands.
- 38:00Hanan: But um, but no, most a lot of people that follow us.
- 38:03Hanan: Some people are like really wonderful, some people are like very judgmental to the judgmental people.
- 38:08Hanan: F off.
- 38:09Speaker 2: No, I don't care about like mean comments or anything like that.
- 38:12Speaker 2: I was just it's weird to be on camera.
- 38:14Lina: Yeah, I know I get it.
- 38:15Lina: Like, I I mean I would say anytime something I was the same way in the beginning, but then like after all, I saw I don't.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Anytime something went wrong, I was like, should we cancel?
- 38:22Lina: No, no, no, we're not canceling.
- 38:24Lina: This was amazing.
- 38:25Lina: I love you.
- 38:25Lina: Did you have fun?
- 38:26Speaker 2: I did.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I mean, it's always easy with you guys.
- 38:28Speaker 2: I want you guys just to feel like I am with you guys, but I miss you especially, and I'm so grateful you guys are here.
- 38:35Hanan: Love the commentary.
- 38:36Hanan: I love you more.
- 38:37Hanan: I do love the commentary when she uh when she watches and she's like on this episode.
- 38:42Hanan: But yeah, and thank you.
- 38:44Hanan: Thank you.
- 38:45Hanan: Special shout out to uh our uh producer behind the scenes.
- 38:48Hanan: Thank you, Sophie.
- 38:49Lina: Yes, and uh special thank you to Jack too.
- 38:52Hanan: I know eating in the afternoon, yeah.
- 38:55Lina: Okay, until next time, guys.
- 38:56Lina: See you later.
