- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I'm going to kick things into this mock draft because I know some people were not thrilled that on the last video.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: I did the voicemails first, the mock draft last whatever will make you guys happy.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: mock draft 3.0.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go and we are going to change up the way I've been doing
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: And mock draft 2.0, I took McCy, lemon my top two favorite receivers in this draft today.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Though things are changed up, a little bit, pick six offensive tackle, Spencer Fano out of Utah.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: 6 foot 5.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: 304-pound Spencer Fano is one of the favorites to be the first tackle taken in the 2026 NFL draft, and his raw talent serves as a powerful separator underneath a profile that's becoming more refined.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: 6-foot 5-304-Fano has a combined athletic and power profile
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: that's near impossible to replicate.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: His acceleration is lethal when transversing gaps, launching off the line and exploding into space.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: And his burst length and leverage make him a natural born displaceer in the run game with a combat of finishing mentality.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: As a pass blocker, Thanos anchor footwork still needs work, but he improved his feet replacement and anchor swivel in 2025.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's always brought rapid recalibration quickness and force as a handfighter,
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: and range, but in 2025 he built off of that quickness with improved hand strike precision and upper lower sink, adding up kicks and violent snatches to his game, a scheme-versal run-blocking savant with the elite matching athleticism and recovery to thrive in past protection.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: Fano has impact, starter, potential.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: I am securing the tackle position in this draft and for this
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Instance here, the situation I'm going to lay out for you guys here today, Spencer Fanna will be the new left tackle for the Cleveland Browns because we remember he started his career.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: I believe he started the career at Utah playing left tackle made the switch to right tackle and then his counterpart Caleb Lowmoo ended up playing the left tackle.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: So Fanna can play both positions has experience playing both positions and for all intents and purposes today.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see why when I get to the pick later, I need Spencer Fanna to move back to left.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: and play left tackle.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: For probably, hopefully, let's see what happens, show to our sanders in 2026, moving on here to pick 24.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: I have changed up my opinion and my ordering a little bit on these wide receivers.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: I've been talking about getting the top three, you must get a receiver out of the big three that take the lemon and the Jordan Tyson, tier of receivers and now for me, I have now expanded that tier.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: to include one other player.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: To my big four-wider severs for the first round in this draft, and I will be happy if the Browns take any one of them, and I'm taking Wider Sever Denzel Boston out of Washington.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot, three, two hundred, ten pounds Denzel Boston entered his junior season at Washington Poison to headline the Huskies or Seving Corps after waiting his turn behind NFL stars like Romo Dunes, a Jalen Polk, and Jalen McMillan.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: standing at 6 foot 4 210 pounds Boston broke out in 2024 with a 63 reception 834 yard nine touchdown receiving line thriving as a red zone mismatch and showing off his expansive catch radius and reliable hands.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: While not an especially twitchy athlete, Boston moves efficiently for his size, stacks cornerbacks on the outside with smooth explosion and long strider speed.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: and completes well through contact.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: He boasted a minus your 1.2% drop rate in 2025.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: He also caught 881 yards and 11 touchdowns on 62 receptions.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: Boston's ability to high point passes and make difficult grabs makes him a go-to weapon when space tightens and he magnifies his vice grip hand strength with intelligent timing control and catch point positioning.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: with more than enough fluidity, tempo management skills and zone, I cue to function as a route runner.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Boston has an appealing X receiver profile and has impact starter potential.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: Here's that phrase again, impact starter potential.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: We got two of those guys here in the first round.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: I do think Denzel Boston is a legitimate wide receiver one at the NFL level.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: I've been watching more tape on him, reading up on him, and
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: doing some more study.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: And the dude is just a beast.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: He is a big physical force.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I know a lot of people, I'm going to do a wider sake.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: You've seen this.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: I got my, I'm working on the notes now.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm I'm almost ready to go.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a wider receiver episode coming up.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I know people want to compare Denzel Boston to the guy we mentioned there in that right up Romo Dunesay, who also played
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to think how I want to explain this, really.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: His calling card was his contestant catch.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: He threw it up, he comes down with it.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he likes to do.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't really have the big time speed, and it wasn't, he was a good route runner, but his separation was not at a high level, whereas Denzel Boston, from what I'm watching and seeing, he can separate at a high level, and he's also a contestant catch-thavon.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: I do think.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: Denzel Boston has the potential to actually be even better than Romo Dunes a at the NFL level.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: And if you remember, Odunes, they went in and I think it was the top 10 in his draft.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: So to get a guy like that at 24 for the Browns, I would be ecstatic.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I really am rising on Denzel Boston out of Washington.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is sponsored by Surfshark VPN.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: Browns fans, I know I can't be the only one.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever searched something random like, I don't know how to make French toast and suddenly you're getting ads for all kinds of different recipes?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, me too.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's a bit scary how much the internet seems to know about me these days.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: Thankfully, today's sponsor Surfshark VPN can help us out with that.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: A VPN is a virtual private network which allows me to mask my real IP address.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's like putting a guardian cap on my online data, essentially meaning that my activity online is safe
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: If you ever wonder just how much of your personal identity is floating around online, every click, every scroll, every late night, mock draft that you do, all of it can be logged, tracked and sold.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: With Surfshark, all that data stays yours.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: When I've connected Surfshark and Crips, everything I do online, so even my internet provider or Nozi advertisers can't see what I'm up to.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's like finally being able to shut the blinds on your digital life total privacy, total control, and honestly, it's a relief knowing I can browse freely without constantly worrying who's watching.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a big one for me Surfshark does not keep logs, like at all that means even if someone wanted to see what I've been up to online, there's literally nothing to show them.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Most people don't realize this, but some VPNs do keep records of your activity, which kind of defeats the point of privacy, right?
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Surfshark's strict no logs policy means they don't monitor track or store any of your browsing data.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's like wiping your digital footprints clean the second you take a step.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: I find that so reassuring knowing that what I do online stays my business and no one else is.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: And Surfshark has other great products like their anti-virus add-on.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: We tend to think viruses are a laptop problem, but they can hit phones, tablets, anything, really.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's why Surfshark anti-virus is such a smart add-on.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's built right into the app and runs quietly in the background protecting against malware, trod jins, and all that nasty stuff that can sneak in from downloads or dodgy sites.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: I love that I don't need a separate anti-virus subscription Surfshark just handles it.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's one less thing to worry about, and one more reason I feel properly covered online.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: So start protecting your online identity today with Surfshark.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: You can try it right now with a risk-free 30-day money-back guarantee go to surfshark.com-slashdogs DAWGS or use code dogs at checkout to get four extra months of Surfshark VPN.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: Link and code are in the description.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: Surfshark.com-slashdogs code dogs.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on into the second round, pick 39.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: This is why Spencer Fanon is a play left tackle because I am going to take.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to make sure I pronounce it correctly.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: We did this.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: This guy was on the senior bull risershow with Barry Schuck this past week.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: And it is offensive tackle, max.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: I hate not chore.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: I a not chore, whatever.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: We're taking big max out of Arizona State six foot six three hundred twenty five pounds max.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: I hate not sure originally comes from Nigeria did not play football in high school at all.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: But just several years into this career already.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: He has emerged as a potential early round prospect in the 2026 NFL draft at six a five three fifteen with over thirty four inch arms i a knock or i a not sure i'm i'm going to figure out how to say his name i a not sure checks off all the physical boxes and the value we are looking for
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: He is long, strong, explosive with elite foot speed and reactive athleticism.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: Additionally, for his experience level, he has an inspiring past set and already a sense of synergy in past protection, and he's an urgent, powerful, run blocker who knows how to flip his hips, stack blocks, seal out pursuit defenders and find creative solutions when defenders muddy up gap looks.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be a slightly older rookie, but I hate not sure has the tools and intangibles to be a quality starter as a natural right tackle.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not messing around taking a kid like this and saying, well, let's try to get you over at the left.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: No, this guy has not played the only played football for a handful of years.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: And he's already playing right tackle at this high of a level.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: You keep his ass right there at right tackle and you put Spencer fan on left tackle.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: your bookends of this offensive line are now in place.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where we go pick 39 offensive tackle max.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: I hate not sure how to Arizona State.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on, pick 70 a guy that I don't know by the time the draft rules around an April if he will be available.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: in this range for the Brownsboro right now per mock draft database.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is where he's going at at pic 70.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm taking the compliment to me the ultimate compliment to Denzel Boston at pic 24 here at pic 70 is wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. out of Indiana 6 feet tall 200 pounds.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Omar Cooper Jr. is one half of Indiana's dynamic duo at Widersever, and like his teammate, Elijah Sarat, it's entirely possible that he's off the board within the top 100 picks.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: In the 2026 NFL draft at 6 feet, 201, Cooper is a dense compact past catcher with a low center of gravity and effortless explosiveness and vertical stretching.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: He can extend seams as a rack threat with his range and contact balance, and he has
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: to work through adjacent contact, but he also flashes great salesmanship and tempo control as a route runner.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Drops can be an issue on occasion for Cooper and he has room to keep her finding his route tree in the intermediate range, but overall he's a budding three-level threat with a
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: and Omar Cooper will be a part of my wide receiver discussions coming up for you guys here in the coming weeks.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: For 2025, he had 91 targets, 69 receptions, 937 yards that was good for 13.6 average with 13 touchdowns for Indiana on that championship roster.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: And you guys know the staff that I always look at the most for wider severs before I even look at those targets and yards and catches his stuff as yards per route run and I will get more into that obviously when we get to the wider seaver discussions, but just for today's topic here and for the sake of everything going on.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: I want a widers.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: If you're, if you don't have over a two, a 2.0 yards per run, you're off my board off my board.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: I can't even look at you if you're below two.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: If you're between two and like 2.4, I'm okay with you being on my board, but you're probably going to be lower on my list.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: Anything over like a 2.4, anything over a 2.5.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really happy with.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: So to give you guys an idea, Omar Cooper Jr is at 2.55 yards per route run and then a guy like Denzel Boston is at 2.44.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: So both these guys right in the range I want them to be for yards per route run.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: We've got other metrics and things that I'm going to break down when I do that wide receiver show, but just to talk a little more about Omar Cooper Jr here, he is a very heavy slot.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: way, what type of wide receiver that's where he excels it's where he plays it's where he thrives in the intermediate range it's why I think he's a great compliment to a guy like Denzel Boston who you can stick honestly Denzel Boston let me look at the splits here real quick for him he actually played 18% of his snaps in the slot while Omar Cooper Jr was 83 so they're pretty much flipped on how they go in and out of the formation you know where they're playing
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to see Denzel Bosch on the outside with Omar Cooper Jr on the inside.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then if you've got, say you've got Bosch and as your X and then Omar Cooper is primarily playing your, what is it?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: So then your Z receiver could be Jerry Judy.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's totally fine.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: To have Jerry Judy be the flanker while you've got the, the X receiver being,
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: Boston and your slot is Omar Cooper Jr. You have just really infused talent into your wider-seaving core.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where I'm going with this pick.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: At 70, it's Omar Cooper Jr. the wider-sever out of Indiana.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: So there was a little bit of
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: Insight into the wide receiver conversations that we will be having coming up in the future, but to get back here to mock draft 3.0, we're moving into pick 107 for the Cleveland Browns and it's back to the trenches, offensive guard, Kaylin, Rutledge out of Georgia Tech, six foot three, three hundred and sixteen pounds.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: Kaylin, Rutledge arrived at Middleton to see in 2022, and almost instantly factored into the starting rotation.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: After starting 17 games for the Blue Raiders, he transferred to Georgia Tech and made a similarly quick impact for the Yellow Jackets.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: He was a two-time first team, all ACC competitor in his first time under Brent Key, and in 2025 he was a first team all American.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now entering the 2026 NFL draft Rutledge stands out as a potential gem in the middle round range.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: at six foot, four, 330 pounds, Rutledge is a compact block of fury inside.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: The tackles, in fact, there's an argument to make no offensive linemen brings more energy and relentless zeal van him on a down down base as Rutledge is similarly energized with his foot speed and play pace and he has the combined mass and width.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: to levy devastating bouts of hand force and rotational torque in the run game he's a assignment sound.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: Angle sound and roll versatile with the hit flexibility to execute reach blocks and in pass protection he blends the line between patience and productivity very well and is aggressive on health blocks.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: His limited knee bend affects his lever jack position and pad level maintenance but he has the temperament to be a tone setter.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: on Sundays.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: This is a guy I would love to see the Browns bringing here so look at this offensive line now through this mock draft.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: You've got two tackles or book end tackles and now you've got an offensive guard.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully, hey, who knows, maybe we're able to get a Tyler Linder Bomber or something like that in free agency we can build.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: in the offensive line that way.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: There are some good guards, center prospects that we can with there's still Luke Whippler on the team.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: The one, Jones is still on the team.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: The offensive line could be reshaped and reformed if we're able to land on and hit on guys like Keyland Rutledge here at Pick 107, the offensive guard out of George Tech.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on to pick one, thirty, nine, we are taking edge-rush or tie-reak sap out of Florida.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot three, two hundred and seventy-five pounds tie-reak sap might not be the highest rank Florida defender on the board, but he was the heart and soul of the Gators defense in 2024 with seven sacks, thirteen TFLs, and two forced fumbles.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: His production stalled in 2025, but he still has a compelling outlook for evaluators
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's big.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: At 6'3, 275 is a compact, high mass, well leveraged edge defender with fleet, footed acceleration, smooth lateral agility, inspiring ankle flex, flexion, and bend capacity, imposing strength at contact in a red, hot motor.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: that runs on all three downs.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: With his salt-off build, Sap does bring less than ideal length to the table, which limits his maximum raw power capacity at times.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: To that end, his margin for air is slimmer against longer blockers and he's still refining his hand usage and precision.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: Nevertheless, the build, the motor and the upper trajectory sells his stock.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_01]: This would be a great guy for the Browns to get here.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: I believe this is the fifth round we're in now at Pick 139.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: Add them to the rotation, get them in there with Alex right, and Isaiah McGuire and Cam Thomas, and I am really excited about the prospects of Ed Rushard Tyrex sap out of Florida here at Pick 139.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: We've got two picks remaining that I'm going to do on this draft.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't mention this at the top, but I'm only doing rounds one through five just like on the last mock because after round five, I don't really care.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if we're going to have those picks by the time the draft rolls around anyway.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: So let's just stick with these first eight.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: And the next one, I'm going to talk about pick 144.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: We're taking safety, Lewis Moore out of Indiana, another who's your, coming here that who's your defense with so awesome this year, give me anybody off that defense right now.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: Five foot 11, 190, Lewis Moore began his collegiate careers and unheralded recruit at Jukego Navarro College and steadily built himself into one of the most prolific ball hawks at the FPS level.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: More played at Navarro from 2019 through 2021.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: He joined the Hoosiers from 2022 to 23 before playing one year at Ole Miss, Kurt Signetti brought more back to Bloomington in 2025 and more rewarded his trust with a first team all big tent and first team all American campaign logging six interceptions as a key piece of Indiana's championship defense.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: At 5-11-191 more is close to average size with a blow-average length profile, but he compensates with fluid athleticism, brisk, closing speed, and an extremely calm composed and calculated intelligence that defines his game.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of the best in the class of managing positioning in zone he reacts instantly to route breaks and, wow, his best plays come in space, he isn't afraid to be physical at contact.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: bearing similarly to Julian love, more as an older prospect, but he has impact starter upside as a versatile split field and single high safety.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting another all-American, I'm getting an all-American off of the best defense and college football this past year.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: Kurt Signetti wanted this kid so bad he brought him back to Indiana after he already transferred away, give me safety Lewis Moore out of Indiana at Pick 144.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: And finally, to wrap up this conversation, pick 147, the last pick of this mock draft is going to be tight and Tanner Cozyo out of Houston, another guy that Barry Schuck brought to the table when the senior bull talks the other day.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: So if you missed that episode, go back and hear what Barry saw from Tanner Cozyo down in Mobile at the senior bull.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: But we've got Tanner Cozyo,
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot six, 245, big kid.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Tanner Cozyle specializes as a premier past game weapon in the 2026 NFL draft tight end class.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Towering at six foot six, he resembles a power forward on the turf with his height, lean mass and box out ability for his size.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's a plus functional athlete.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's fairly fluid as a mover with solid hit flexibility, sink, foot speed, tempo freedom, all of which proves conduct conducive to independent separation and zone navigation.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: Cozyol can use his smooth mobility and size to throttle up seams and corners and he proves proficient at using late hands and sharp timing to control positioning in one-on-one situations.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: before capitalizing with body control.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: In the blocking phase, Kozy Ols much less consistent.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: He stands to add more mass power and place strength.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: As his sustain can't suffer post-contact.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: That said, at the very least he has usage versatility, can block off motions, insert into interior gaps, get out in space and for a taller tight end he has the bend and flexibility to properly acquire leverage.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_01]: in the immediate timeline cozy was a receiving tight end first with smooth mobility and fairly sound hands, but there is blocking upside present if he can improve his presence at the contact.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't mention at the top, Tanner cozy will tight end out of Houston.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: So this is a kid, very shocked, saw down in Mobile.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: was very excited about him's called him more of a project Titan.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that probably has a lot to do with the refinement areas that he's got to work on in the blocking part of the game.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: But this, I mean, the size, the athleticism, the play strength, the hands, the catching, but everything that he can do in the past game, I think is worth investing in, especially this late in the draft and the fifth round.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: So give me a pick 147 Titan, Tanner Cozyle out of Houston.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: And just to recap, mock draft, 3.0, pick six offensive tackle Spencer Fano out of Utah, pick 24 wide receiver, Denzel Boston out of Washington.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: Pick 39 offensive tackle, Max I, Hanejor out of Arizona State, pick 70 is wide receiver, Omar Cooper Jr. out of
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: Pick 139 edge rusher tie reeks sap out of Florida.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: Pick 144 safety Lewis more out of Indiana.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: And finally pick 147.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: Tighten tenor cozy old out of Houston.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: So what do you guys think dropping the comments?
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: How did I do on mock 3.0?
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: These are fun exercises to do.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoy looking at this.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: And one of my favorite things about doing these mock drafts throughout the duration of the pre-draft process is when we get closer to April and more actually in April and getting closer to the draft.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to look back and see where was I mocking guys.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: back in February when now the draft positioning has changed post combine post senior ball all this stuff.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: Pro days everything that elevates draft stuff for a lot of these guys or or knocks it down the board for some guys and other instances.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: and I like to compare and I like to see who was I high on back then that maybe I'm not high on anymore and it's just a fun exercise to do you guys let me know how things went here for this mock draft in the comments.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to kick it over now to a couple of voicemails before we wrap up.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is partnered with Kaoshi.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: Browns fans are you ready to put your money where your predictions are with Kaoshi America's number one regulated prediction market you can legally trade on events that actually matter to you.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: And the best part is you don't need to predict specific stat lines and compile a seven-legged parlay just a win big.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: With Kaoshi the objective is either yes or no.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: Will Shidorah Sanders be the Browns week one starting quarterback?
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: Will the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl?
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: Will Fernando Mendoza be the first overall pick in the NFL draft, and in other sports, will the calves make the NBA playoffs?
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: You can put your money on these predictions and more with Calshy.

- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: Head over to Calshy.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: KAL.

- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, now, before I dive into the couple voice models here, I forgot Stacey, you actually sent in a mock draft, which I tell you guys to do if you want to send me in mock drafts that you do, you know, if I'm able, I will read them here.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: On the show, Stacey says it's my, this is my ideal mock draft.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't even looked at her picture, but she says, I'm not sure that McCy Lemon will be available at 15, and I wish I could have gotten Cardinal Tate over Jordan Tyson, but he was taken number two over all.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like she was using, looks like mock draft database.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: She said, I wasn't giving assets for that.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: I traded with Tampa Bay to get from 24 to 15.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: Giving up a third round next year and two of our round five picks.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, cool.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't mind giving up fifth round picks because those kind of suck.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so let's see what Stacey came away with here, my screen would cooperate.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: She's got at number six, she took Jordan Tyson, the widersaver out of Arizona State.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: She traded up from 24 to 15 to get McCy Lemon, the widersaver out of USC.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: If you come away with two of those big forward receivers, I am just running out of the studio.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: With my pants off, I'm never wearing pants again.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: I would be so freaking excited to get to these guys, and especially if McCy Lemon is one of them.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: 39 looks like she went with Monroe Freeling the offensive tackle out of Georgia, and then at 70 one of my favorite players, Chase Basantis, the interior offensive lineman out of Texas A&M.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: 107 is Michael Trig, the Titan, out of Baylor, and then at 139 she got safety out of Illinois Xavier Scott.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Stacy, I don't hate that draft one bit, especially if you're able, and again, I don't know what all you'd have to give up.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: to move from 24 to 15, that's a pretty big jump in the first round, but in a draft like this where the high end elite talent is not what it is or was in previous drafts or is normally an draft.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, maybe the injury barrier could get something done and you said I believe it was Tampa Bay that you traded with to get that move in place.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: So, man, Jordan Tyson,
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: That would be awesome.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: I would love it.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: First voice middle here before I get out of the year.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: This one is from Hannah.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_03]: Hey guys, it's Hannah.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_03]: I am like feeling kind of like you guys just like sort of optimistic about how I'm feeling.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_03]: I was I know I was so mad, but like
- 28:42[SPEAKER_03]: Watching him wish to door and the watching head press conference.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, the tutus funny is like a cat.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, okay, I can get down with this.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't want to say like, oh my god, he's gonna go out there and win every game.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_03]: But I just think that he actually might be bringing a better like outlook to the team that we haven't had in a while.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that that's going to, like, shadow into offseason.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_03]: I think that Jimmy Hadlem and Andrew Berry are going to have more, like, respect when he wants to draft a certain player, or he wants to pick someone up in free agency.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I think that they're going to have more respect for him because he's been in this for such a long time.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_03]: They might not be so analytic about everything they might be like, okay, this guy is a football guy.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_03]: You could tell by the way he was talking in that press conference, that's, this is a football guy.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: And this is what Cleveland is needed.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, so it sounds like Hannah's coming around on the Todd Munkin, higher just like we are.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: I got to say she's right.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: The press conference did move me a more in favor of Todd Munkin.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: I liked the stark difference between him and Kevin Stephansky when they're speaking to the media.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if there's a good thing or I don't mean this as a bad thing, but I feel like there's more of an opportunity for somebody like Todd Munkin to slip up and accidentally say something that maybe he shouldn't say to the media where Kevin was very Calculated.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying more than I have to.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to, you know, we're working on it.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get it fixed.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: We've got to be better.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: We got to do better.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: You got to coach better blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, this guy is like they ask him, you know, how will you handle
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: on unsuccessful seasons if they come while you're the head coach and he's like not my vocabulary basically like I there will be no I don't do unsuccessful football okay I mean I we won eight games last two years so you got the the bar is low you've got to get moving if you want to have successful football here in Cleveland but the I like the mentality for Todd
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: Young players at the collegiate level will help him with the younger players right now on this team and in the NFL I do think that it could open up opportunities in free agency that weren't there previously because if you if you've been watching.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: He has been bringing coach after coach after coach from Baltimore over here to Cleveland.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: People seem to gravitate to him.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: They want to follow him.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: If he was some idiot coach, everyone's like, this guy doesn't know what he's doing.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: They wouldn't be coming with him.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's encouraging.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that does open up the door for more potential infre agency Hannah.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I will say the last point you made there.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: Todd Monkin is actually one of the more analytically minded head coaches, well, I did not head coach because he hasn't been head coached for.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: But more analytically inclined coaches in the NFL, he's he's a big analytics guy.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: And this is where we've had this discussion multiple times on the show, but it's worth bringing back up again, you know, analytics is huge.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: I use stats and numbers and figures all the time for all these players for everything
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: I am trying to think how to explain it, analytics are important.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: You have to use them.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: You need them.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: They can tell you things, identify things that you might not be able to see just with your eye.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: But you also have to use your eyes.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: You also have to be able to watch film and evaluate and scout freaking football players.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: You need to be able to do both.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the issue I think Browns fans have had.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: Most I hear all the time.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'll get rid of these analytics.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: I understand where you're coming from.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: I understand what you mean, and what you mean is quit using freaking analytics as the end all be all for everything.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: Blake says it all the time.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: Use analytics as a tool to make good decisions.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Quit using it as a freaking crutch because you can't use anything else because you don't know how to scout or you don't know how to evaluate talent.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's the problem.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I think Todd Munkin brings that ideal blend of using analytics and being a football guy.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_01]: together, and that's what we want in Cleveland.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to get rid of analytics.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: Are you kidding me?
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: We need them.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: We need analytics otherwise.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to miss out on some things that.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, let's just leave it at that.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: but you also need to be able to be a football minded person without the analytics overruling what you see with your eye.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I like the fact that he is very strong rooted in both football and analytics.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hannah, thank you for the voice mail.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know there's another one from you and the queue will get to it next week is my plan because this is the last voice mail for today.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: This one is from a little buddy Cooper.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: There you guys could be building back again.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I've not called in a long time, but I was just wondering, Corey Y'all rooting for for the Super Bowl.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: See y'all are new England, and I'm rooting for see y'all because I did not like new England.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: See y'all maybe NFC, Patriots, NFC, and I was supposed to hate the NFC but still.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think, I think that Seahawks should win one, not the Patriots, we do not want them becoming the best team in the flipping NFL, I mean the freaky NFL, I would like to hear what you all think or who y'all think should win.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: Cooper is your dad listening to the way you did that that mouth of yours?
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm just messing with you buddy.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, super bowl tonight.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a great game if what it's if you guys are watching or listening to this on Sunday.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, first of all, I don't hate the NFC.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: I hate the freaking Steelers.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: I hate the Ravens and I hate the Bengals.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: I hate the AFC North.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's who I hate.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, don't hate the NFC because I'm rooting for the Seahawks.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: I would like to see the Seahawks when I think the Seahawks are the clear, better team.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: The Patriots I know they get a lot of flag this year for not having face the most difficult.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: Schedule and their path to the Super Bowl was a cake walk by a lot of people.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: There is no cake walk to get to the Super Bowl, just doesn't exist.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: They still had to go out and win difficult games, but I think that their match will be met in this one.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: The Seahawks defense is legit.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's freaking insane.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: And not to mention Clint Kubeyek, the offensive coordinator there who's about to be the head coach of the Raiders after this game.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: just brilliant on that side of the mind.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: That offense is humming.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's clicking Stam Darnold, Jackson Smith and Jigba, Ken Walker.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: They just, when you pair that kind of an offense with the defense that they have, that elite defense, that's what we're trying to do here in Cleveland.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: We've got a strong defense, let's just get an offense that can complement these guys.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I've got this C-Hawks probably if I had a predict to score, I'd say 24, 20.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's a blowout.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: I do think New England is a good team, and I think that they also have a good defense.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_01]: They also have a good offense.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's going to be a good game.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: I really do.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: But ultimately, I believe Seattle wins out of the game has already happened when you're watching this.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: You guys can tell me if I'm right, and if I'm wrong, I know you'll tell me about that.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: So that's it for today.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you guys for the voice.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's like I've more queued up for next week.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to those later.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know what you guys think about mock draft 3.0, send in your mocks at thedarkspotcast.com if you want me to take a look at them, maybe I'll read them on the show, in future episodes and things like that.
