  Speaker 4: of death has forced mankind to respond in different ways,

  Speaker 4: others through fear, others through all kinds of mechanisms, And

  Speaker 4: particularly for the Church, it's been a subject of concern.

  Speaker 4: Is there a formula for long life? Is there a principle?

  Speaker 4: Is there some sort of guarantee? Please pay attention tonight.

  Speaker 4: Can a man actually make a bold claim about longevity

  Speaker 4: or a way to just work and hope that someday
• 11:51
  Speaker 4: death will just come and whenever it comes, it can
• 11:53
  Speaker 4: take us. This has been a great source of confusion

  Speaker 4: in the Body of Christ. There are those who are
• 11:59
  Speaker 4: of opinion that you know, this is what the Bible
• 12:05
  Speaker 4: says and this and that, And there are others who
• 12:08
  Speaker 4: have all kinds of stories. You know of well meaning,
• 12:12
  Speaker 4: loving believers, past us, ministers of the Gospel who have died,
• 12:17
  Speaker 4: and in all kinds of things. Sicknesses have claimed the
• 12:22
  Speaker 4: lives of people, accidents, acts of terrorism, and so on
• 12:27
  Speaker 4: and so forth, and so this. The complexity of death
• 12:32
  Speaker 4: is something that in spite of the civilization of mankind
• 12:36
  Speaker 4: and the many centuries of evolution, it's a question that
• 12:40
  Speaker 4: has been at the heart of almost everyone. What is
• 12:44
  Speaker 4: the guarantee that this may not be my last night?
• 12:47
  Speaker 4: What is the guarantee that I can plan for twenty
• 12:50
  Speaker 4: years and successfully executed. This has led many people, for instance,
• 12:56
  Speaker 4: into being irresponsible because the few there is no point laboring,
• 13:02
  Speaker 4: going to school, paying the price, getting a job, getting married,
• 13:07
  Speaker 4: having kids, and then dying and leaving people and so
• 13:10
  Speaker 4: on and so forth, and others have come up with

  Speaker 4: all kinds of formula. I can tell you, Even for

  Speaker 4: ministers of the Gospel, it's been a difficult subject to
• 13:23
  Speaker 4: teach congregations because as a minister of the Gospel, you
• 13:27
  Speaker 4: are exposed to all the sides of life. You have
• 13:32
  Speaker 4: to attend funerals. You have to comfort families. At the
• 13:36
  Speaker 4: same time, you will have to be there at baby,
• 13:39
  Speaker 4: the birth of new ones, educations, marriages and all of that.
• 13:44
  Speaker 4: So on one side you have your members crying at
• 13:47
  Speaker 4: the transition of one and then on one side they
• 13:50
  Speaker 4: are celebrating the incoming of another. On one side there
• 13:53
  Speaker 4: is a divorce happening. On another side, people are celebrating
• 13:57
  Speaker 4: the bliss of marriage. So all of these these extremities
• 14:02
  Speaker 4: make the work of ministry particularly very difficult. Hallelujah, and

  Speaker 4: we must be able to draw strength from the truth
• 14:13
  Speaker 4: of God's words. So tonight, as instructed by the Lord,

  Speaker 4: I want to teach us certain things. I want us
• 14:19
  Speaker 4: to discuss on the subject of longevity, to give us hope,
• 14:23
  Speaker 4: courage and to build faith and not say amen. Before

  Speaker 4: I start, like I said earlier on, let me express

  Speaker 4: my heart felt condolence to many of us who have,

  Speaker 4: at one point or the other experienced the demidse of

  Speaker 4: a loved one. I can tell you this that it

  Speaker 4: lost father others, mothers, others, both parents, others, you know.

  Speaker 4: tragic memories of things that happen surrounded the death of

  Speaker 4: But their lives were surrounded by so much confusion, and
