- 0:10Speaker 1: You feel voiceless.

- 0:17Speaker 1: Do I have a guest for you today?
- 0:19Speaker 1: Please help me.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Welcome Molly Trotter.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I didn't forget your name, I just.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Molly is awesome.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Can I share this, like I was almost a year ago as last January?
- 0:30Speaker 1: Molly I don't know if you know this, but the amazing Jessica Shakur I think she has got the jumper cable gift because I have met some of the best friends from that yes Lord, collective and I'll never forget it.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Molly came on and she didn't push what she was in, she just spoke all the brilliance and only Molly can have.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I remember thinking I need to find out.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So I booked a call with her and I said listen, I'm going all in, tell me, please help me.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Welcome Molly Trotter.
- 0:59Speaker 1: She's co-founder of girl power Alliance and I could go on a bunch of bunch of other things, but we're gonna let her talk and share you hey, molly, thanks for joining us.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Thank you, teresa.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I'm super excited to be here and just to be in front of your audience, just to pour in today, because that's what I love to do.
- 1:13Speaker 2: You mentioned something that I think some people would miss, so I want to highlight it.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Do you mention the first time you ever heard me speak.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I didn't push what it is that I had, I just filled out all of the value, and that's something I feel like a lot of people miss.
- 1:27Speaker 2: It's like, yes, if we're connected to an amazing thing that can bless other people awesome, somebody's gonna find out at some point.
- 1:34Speaker 2: But be a person of value where you're not the one just pressuring and pushing all over everybody.
- 1:39Speaker 2: They're seeing the value come out of you, even when there is no cost involved.
- 1:43Speaker 2: And there's so many people that like, oh you know, I'm not gonna share this until I charge that or whatever.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I'm like here's the value and this is what you get, even if it's free.
- 1:53Speaker 2: And then, of course, you know, when there's stuff that there is a monetary investment attached to it, that value will end up speaking for itself.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And you know, just so happens, the value that we give also is an opportunity to help people make money, which is something you know.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I you saying that?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Because there's one thing I don't want to do.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I call it sliming.
- 2:11Speaker 1: He's one post after another.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I've got this, but anyway.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So thank you for saying that.
- 2:17Speaker 1: So you know I'm all about the voice, so can I touch a little bit?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Can you share a little bit about your background?
- 2:23Speaker 1: I was on TV but I wasn't the anchor.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So tell us about some of your anchor days on TV.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So I got into the television industry, excelsic.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You know what this looks fun.
- 2:36Speaker 2: That was literally my thought process and I was like you know, it's so different than anything else I've ever heard of.
- 2:41Speaker 2: So I knew my freshman year in high school, at 14, I knew what I wanted to do.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I mean, I know it's like super rare in my high school at the time Happen to be brand new.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It was like a year old so they actually had morning announcements in like a news, like media Studio that they would broadcast to the school.
- 2:58Speaker 2: So I was like rad, I want to try this.
- 3:00Speaker 2: So that led into me, you know, going down the college route to learn to get my foot in the door.
- 3:05Speaker 2: And what I learned about broadcast journalism is that, like you don't happen to necessarily go to school for it, it's just about who you know.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Right, life principle it's about who you know.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So I ended up getting into the, the news industry, fast forward and the adrenaline rush was there, you know, from me being out in the field to getting on the anchor desk.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I did sports.
- 3:23Speaker 2: They eventually put me on the weather wall where I would be called the weather Forecaster.
- 3:28Speaker 2: It's not the same as a meteorologist, because there's a lot of science behind that.
- 3:31Speaker 2: So I got to try everything and it was a lot of fun to be able to just get put in these positions.
- 3:36Speaker 2: But I also noticed, even though there's an adrenaline rush, new people I could talk to every day, fun stories to put together.
- 3:41Speaker 2: People were toxic.
- 3:43Speaker 2: The stories were toxic, it was just very doom and gloom mentality and I've never been that person.
- 3:49Speaker 2: So they'd always try to get like a hard story, as they would call it, come out of me and I'm like I'll go find those.
- 3:56Speaker 2: But it wasn't the stories.
- 3:57Speaker 2: That were literally the ones that jumped out of me.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I'm like people need to hear more of this, like if it bleeds, it leads right.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Everybody who talks about that.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And I was just like this is not me.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So I was in the industry for about five years, learned a ton, sure, ended up getting out of that industry, got into, uh, network marketing, actually opening up a nutrition and fitness Personal training type of a thing, because I was very big into that, being a collegiate athlete, and so I just got.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I had so much growth from just the skill set of speaking, which I know we really resonate on yeah, wow.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So I I wanted to make a comment.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I wasn't an anchor I it was.
- 4:34Speaker 1: In the off months I was a professional golfer and we actually stored up all these they called them t tips and I would stay To 11 pm and then watched by the directors.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I came home with a rush and I wasn't even on the news.
- 4:48Speaker 1: There's just something about a rush about life, but anyway, I I can only imagine.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You know I don't watch the news anymore because it's toxicity, so I can understand your move.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Now, how did you Come about?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Now?
- 5:02Speaker 1: First, I'm going to ask you this one question.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I will go into the fun and stuff.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Molly, in your relationship with god, can you remember a turning point in your life where you knew you needed to turn?
- 5:16Speaker 2: I would say the the last turning point I had just because it's a little bit more fresh was in when the pandemic hit in 2020.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I've had many moments, but it was in that moment that I remember sitting in my room and I'm just like okay, lord, we have no idea what's going on here, we don't know if the world's gonna end, we don't know if there's gonna be a block.
- 5:31Speaker 2: We have no idea, period.
- 5:32Speaker 2: So I said what do you want from me?
- 5:35Speaker 2: And he's like I want more people to know about me and I want you to be a voice for that.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And I'm like okay, so I've been kind of I was leaking my faith online, here and there, but really one foot in the world, one foot in Christianity, what a lot of people do Truthfully.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And he was like I want you to really get to know me and then be a voice for that.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I'm like all right.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So that was a big turning point for me, because so many people fear doing that.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Out of what if somebody, you know, out of the ridicule.
- 6:03Speaker 2: People don't understand what.
- 6:04Speaker 2: There was a point in time where a lot of people started to get cancelled Social media, would you know, bump their stuff down, which I still think they do and they wouldn't.
- 6:10Speaker 2: They would just try to silence you and I was like it doesn't matter if that happens.
- 6:14Speaker 2: God's bigger than that.
- 6:18Speaker 2: So that was a big turning point for me to be a voice for what I like to say, the voiceless.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Not that most of us can't speak, but we just maybe have those blocks or those fears or just don't know how, and so I I took that very seriously and that was a huge turning point.
- 6:30Speaker 2: So when did you start to get that so?
- 6:34Speaker 1: when did you come alongside an amazing woman named Michelle Schaefer and co-found An amazing organization called girl power alliance?
- 6:43Speaker 1: When did that happen?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Well, I definitely would have to say probably.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Well, it happened in 2019 is when she reached out, and so, before this awakening that I mentioned, you know, when it comes to what God was asking me to do, but it was one of those social media relationships where I'm like I don't even know how we became friends, I don't know who friended who and how this happened, but she said I, you keep getting highlighted to me.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I think you're supposed to be a part of what it is that I'm building.
- 7:08Speaker 2: And I hadn't lost yet we didn't launch till June of 2020.
- 7:10Speaker 2: So that was a huge god thing.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Because, you know, short story, from the news To getting into network marketing, to getting a taste of that freedom opening my own coaching company where I was teaching people how to have confidence on camera and social media marketing.
- 7:26Speaker 2: So at the peak of that, you know, just having the most fun, the most success, the most money I've ever made the Lord's like we're not doing this thing and I was like what do you mean?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Like you put me in this position and then, in walks, michelle saying I'm building this thing, and I instantly knew that was it, because there's not a lot of leverage in coaching until you have a one-to-many model, which is the model that we created, is women can get that, you know, support of learning, growing personally, professionally, learning from experts, but then they can have the leverage of building a team, because women love to share things anyways.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So when Michelle reached out saying first it was only just a membership, it wasn't an opportunity, I was still in yeah, the Lord released the opportunity part to just have access for women, to have access to a place like this where they can get to know, then cells at a deeper level gets to grow and then have an opportunity where they can impact lives all around the world.
- 8:19Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I want to backtrack you because this is very fascinating me and something I'm trying to teach myself with a signature course in one-to-one.
- 8:29Speaker 1: So when you said you were helping people get comfortable on camera, was that online or or also offline?
- 8:39Speaker 2: That was primarily online.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I had some one-on-one clients where I met with maybe like once a quarter, but primarily everything was online, because it's how you build your brand online.
- 8:50Speaker 2: That should translate offline because you don't want that to be two different people.
- 8:54Speaker 2: But the work that I did it was all digital.
- 8:56Speaker 2: It was all online, I mean, is the way to go, my opinion, because you can literally do anything from this computer, from your phone why not?
- 9:04Speaker 2: To be able to build that leverage.
- 9:05Speaker 2: I absolutely loved it.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Now a lot of our members get that same kind of in-course form and through our Radiant Speaker Academy, they get to be able to experience not only my gifts in that, but other coaches as well that have had decades of experience.
- 9:19Speaker 2: So it's amazing to see women just unlock their voice and go out there and use it.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that is so cool.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So inside a Girl Power Alliance, I'll just go ahead and talk about this because I'm so passionate about it.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm passionate about lots of things, so I shouldn't just say that.
- 9:34Speaker 1: But there is something called the Radiant Speaker Academy and that's where, if I could say, I continued on a relationship.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Molly was one of the instructors and she had a section.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's like how many?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Nine weeks online and then you can choose whether you want to be accredited by going to San Diego and, at a low rate compared to any other speaking fee, be able to be certified.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And so I was going through a real rough time but I managed to make it and I'm so excited to be in the Radiant Leadership Academy with you come January because I just slipped through the cracks.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I was having my own one-on-one therapy to get through some of my trauma.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I lost my husband almost it'll be coming up on two years those of you who haven't heard me say that and just a lot of trauma, 26 years of marriage, but anyway.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So we come out to this Radiant Speaker Academy and I got to tell you Molly was one of the four people.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Okay, and I shared this yesterday.
- 10:34Speaker 1: It was the safest place if you really wanted to go on stage and learn how to speak.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Now, that's always been in my heart, but it's just not.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I just was controlled or I just never had an opportunity.
- 10:45Speaker 1: So I really wanted to go through it and, molly, the most nerves was can we get it under 10 minutes?
- 10:52Speaker 1: That was my most nerves.
- 10:53Speaker 1: And then I proceeded.
- 10:55Speaker 1: We had a rehearsal and I proceeded to try to get 26 years of marriage I mean 26 years of my life into 10 minutes.
- 11:03Speaker 1: But this is what I want to say Afterwards each one of you Molly, shay, lisa, michelle they just loved me to pull out.
- 11:13Speaker 1: You know, I mean, michelle is so funny, you know to pull out, okay, yeah, I didn't quite say that and trying to get all this life in in 10 minutes.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I say all that to say that that was such a safe place.
- 11:26Speaker 1: If you really want to learn to speak, go through nine weeks of just incredible training and then, yeah, step on the stage.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I just got to tell you, molly, you and the other ladies just provided such a safe place for me and I thought I was going to rewrite the whole thing and then I got in my room and I'm like, no, I don't want to be about that.
- 11:45Speaker 1: That's not my life.
- 11:46Speaker 1: My past isn't my story.
- 11:48Speaker 1: My story is in progress, so it was just so fun to be able to.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And then you text me and you said, take, I want to talk to you.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, but we're having a meeting.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You know my room is vacant.
- 11:59Speaker 1: We're having a meeting and I walk in I'm sorry, I'm taking time to.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I walk in and there's all the ladies and what's her name?
- 12:06Speaker 1: She grabbed me by my hand and gave me her seat and then she just held my hand.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Then I also noticed eyes on me.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I'm thinking, oh, did I spill lunch?
- 12:16Speaker 1: No, michelle called me up and sat me in a chair and all around me they prayed for me and spoke life over me.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Molly is about this.
- 12:26Speaker 1: What I'm sharing is a testimony, is what this thing called Girl Power Alliance is all about, and don't you think that's a good example?
- 12:36Speaker 1: I didn't think.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I thought friends were a myth until I went through the speaker.
- 12:39Speaker 1: So so what's the?
- 12:42Speaker 1: What's the secret sauce?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Do you think, like a radiant speaker Academy could have been a vent all by itself?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Cause then the transformation from one day to other.
- 12:51Speaker 1: What's your thoughts on that?
- 12:51Speaker 1: As being a speaker, I mean as being a facilitator, as you're watching these ladies come up one day to the next.
- 12:58Speaker 1: What were some of your thoughts about that?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Well, knowing that the for the longest time, knowing that the Lord put this on my heart, when you look in Genesis and you realize that you know the enemy, satan, lucifer slithered right on over to Eve first.
- 13:15Speaker 2: That should give you a clue that he went over to a woman first, and then you know.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Obviously we know how the story goes the fall of man, all of that.
- 13:23Speaker 2: But ever since that moment in the garden there has been an assault on women's voices of you shouldn't talk, you shouldn't speak.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Sit down, be quiet, be in the background.
- 13:34Speaker 2: And a lot of churches, a lot of men, a lot of people believe that lie.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Women now are standing up and they're speaking more than ever and there's a lot of trauma and a lot of trash in their mind telling them which is lies of the enemy.
- 13:48Speaker 2: It doesn't matter, you don't have enough authority, credibility, be quiet, this isn't good enough.
- 13:54Speaker 2: And in comparison, instantly comes up to somebody else, so watching women that have never, ever stepped foot on a stage.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Some of these women never even recorded a video of themselves, nothing to get up there, even if their voice was shaking, even if they were nervous.
- 14:10Speaker 2: But every time they got up there, because there's a round of feedback where we share you know what we loved and hear some you know tweaks in a loving way.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Then you get up and you give your official, you know performance and you'll get that copy.
- 14:22Speaker 2: They got better every time Because, like you said, the safe environment.
- 14:27Speaker 2: They walk into an environment where they're not getting ripped to shreds.
- 14:30Speaker 2: They're getting loving feedback.
- 14:32Speaker 2: But the biggest part about the Kim Tens which stands for Kingdom Impact Talk in 10 minutes is, like you said, teresa, 10 minutes for most people is like there it is.
- 14:42Speaker 2: You know there's not very much time at all, so it gets you to be very strategic on what you wanna share for that particular story.
- 14:48Speaker 2: But our life is full of Kim Tens and so see all these women there's over 21 women that got on there basically shared their revival story of whatever it is that they have gone through was so impactful, not only for them but for everybody in the audience, that there was never a dry eye in the room, like there was always somebody sniffling tears because it was so impactful.
- 15:10Speaker 2: And I say that because when you're really moved, it doesn't wanna be an environment where you can feel something that's real and we're lacking that big time because people aren't using their real voices.
- 15:21Speaker 2: They're using a copycat of somebody else because it works for them but it's not theirs.
- 15:25Speaker 2: So on the other end, listening, I mean, it still baffles us as to what happened in that room, to see where it started but knowing there's so many more coming.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Oh, it's so good.
- 15:37Speaker 1: That is just a good memory.
- 15:39Speaker 1: So you said something really interesting and I think it's really important, because I think when you start to come from voiceless to finding your voice, I think something that's really important is it's a marketing term is your brand.
- 15:53Speaker 1: If you can just remember to be authentic, I think that's your superpower.
- 15:57Speaker 1: But maybe when you were coaching or when you were teaching on camera, what were some keys that you helped people to make sure they were speaking their brand and not trying to copycat someone else Any keys?
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, and it really it boils down from if you think 10 minutes is hard, when I did coaching I would have you drill down even deeper, of okay.
- 16:19Speaker 2: So what are some of the topics you like to talk about?
- 16:21Speaker 2: What are some of the bullet points within that topic?
- 16:24Speaker 2: Now let's drill down to a couple of bullet points and let's do this in like 60 seconds, and to most people, 10 minutes they think is hard, 60 seconds is like impossible.
- 16:33Speaker 2: But one of the things I know, coming from a news background, is sometimes all I had was 15 seconds, 30, 60, 90.
- 16:40Speaker 2: So I know how to speak and be able to pull off the points that matter to draw people's attention, because in a world where people can just scroll and click through and there is a million videos at their fingertips, why should they be watching yours?
- 16:52Speaker 2: So the first thing, the opening statement, needs to be powerful, being able to draw them into so they can either be entertained, educated or even something thought provoking that shifts the perspective.
- 17:04Speaker 2: That's where you want to nab people, because that is where they are.
- 17:08Speaker 2: That's what they're looking for one of those three buckets.
- 17:10Speaker 2: So it's really helping people understand that.
- 17:13Speaker 2: But my favorite part was really drilling down deep, because a lot of these people I used to work with when I was coaching had multi-million dollar businesses, but yet they didn't know how to speak to people in a way where it really kind of just it opened things up, they could make sales look at how great programs but there was a missing link, because there's usually a barrier between who you really are and the product that you sell and that you're sharing.
- 17:38Speaker 2: The service that you're selling you're sharing, and there needs to be a connection point, because then people know I can trust you, then they're gonna want to be with you no matter where you go, because what you do now may change, but if you haven't changed as a person, this is just a new avenue and how you want to support people.
- 17:55Speaker 2: So bridging that gap is huge and I don't see enough people doing it.
- 17:59Speaker 2: But we're definitely making very big strides here at GPA through the Radiant Speaker Academy, our communication and speaking courses, speaking experts that come in live into the membership throughout the year because we know the power of the voice.
- 18:13Speaker 2: So that's what I get obviously very passionate about.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I will say to you, a week and a half after going to the Speaker Academy, I went to another mastermind and we had 30 seconds to go on stage.
- 18:25Speaker 1: So I really believe I took from what Radiant Speaker.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I'm not afraid to speak on stage, but this was 30 seconds and I remember though I love the pregnant pause and I got up there and I paused and I could just see people.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Did she forget what she said?
- 18:40Speaker 1: And it was just boom 30.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And then we had to say what our secret power was.
- 18:44Speaker 1: So I gave my spiel and then I had three seconds to say what is it?
- 18:50Speaker 1: My secret power?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Something like that was crazy.
- 18:53Speaker 1: My secret power is my voice.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I shift the atmospheres in every room I enter, but it's not me, but he that lives in me, and this is a secular I don't wanna say secular mainstream, and that made an impact.
- 19:05Speaker 1: But I had 30 seconds and I'm thinking I can do this.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Just one experience of I love to talk.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I've been talking online since 2012, but this was on a stage with Radiant Speaker Academy, and even if you don't like to talk, they'll show you how to do it.
- 19:23Speaker 1: So I don't wanna say that just because I'm a jabber jar all the time, but anyway, that was awesome.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I got a question for you, though, in speaking how do you incorporate Cause?
- 19:32Speaker 1: I really believe when you share a story, you open up the minds of people to accept what comes after that.
- 19:39Speaker 1: So how do you work sharing a part of your story?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Don't you agree that sometimes that says people back and then they're able to receive the information?
- 19:48Speaker 1: But how do you incorporate that if you have a short amount of time?
- 19:53Speaker 2: corporate your story if you have a short amount of time.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Yeah, how do you do that?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Do you incorporate pieces of your story?
- 20:00Speaker 2: So it just depends.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I mean, one of the things that I see with speakers is they want to incorporate who they are, what they're about, some other background and they want to put them in every piece.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing you are the one sharing the story, so that, in and of itself, is telling a part of who you are, even if it's not.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Here's my background, here's context.
- 20:17Speaker 2: And what I love about social media, for example, is you can get context by.
- 20:21Speaker 2: If you want to put up a reel or a video, the video is 30, 60 seconds on the content in the caption.
- 20:29Speaker 2: So what's the most important piece that you really want them to grab, because maybe that's all that they're going to listen to, and then you can build in context.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Because I'm a huge person of context, of I want to give you some background, but not every post, every video, everything to need that context, especially if you have 30 seconds, a couple minutes, you know if there's and that's where I really like to drill down deep of okay, what's your 30, 60, 90 second story?
- 20:57Speaker 2: Like who you are, take out the most important points, boil down 50 years, 20 years, 40 years, into 30, 60, 90 of what are the most important points to when, after you're done sharing it, I would like to know more.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I'd like to connect, I want more and they either clicking, they grab your number, they make a comment, all the above.
- 21:16Speaker 2: So it's having that discernment as you go, as you like, continue to grow of.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Okay, this really doesn't.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I don't need to insert me here, but there's going to be other moments that you can insert yourself and don't be one of those people that just talks about other people, other quotes, other things that you've learned all the time.
- 21:33Speaker 2: You have to do the personal piece as well, because otherwise you're just going to be a regurgitator rather than a storyteller, and people want to hear your story.
- 21:42Speaker 1: That's so good and I think you can keep to your brand and still give out 30, 60 seconds.
- 21:49Speaker 1: It's funny as this because before we went on live I was trying to do a bunch of little short videos on our.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I'm with Michelle Tufford and we're having a special mastermind this Friday night at 7 to just share how you can get paid by helping women grow, but different aspects of it.
- 22:08Speaker 1: And one thing I wanted to be personal but because I'm going to share some story where a piece of scripture just pulled me out of the rubble.
- 22:16Speaker 1: It was shortly after our house was set on fire.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I remember living in this rented home and so I had retired from radio so I wanted to help my family get out of debt or just get out and add some financial, and Jesus spoke so real, clearly in two different examples.
- 22:35Speaker 1: And it's like when you take your passion and then you hook from scripture to it, I think it's a power source to help you go forward when times are tough, when you do feel voiceless.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I have a heart, as you know, molly, for people who are voiceless from trauma.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I mean, I come across people that just don't feel like they have a voice because it's either their marriage or a relationship or their own stuff.
- 23:01Speaker 1: But I just want to say there are keys that you can find your voice and share it, embrace it and then this is the key and you can speak, but you serve the person you once were.
- 23:12Speaker 1: That brings transformation.
- 23:15Speaker 1: That will not only change the person you're sharing with, but also yourself.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Well, anything you want to add to?
- 23:21Speaker 2: those thoughts.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I love that you said that because we, ultimately, if we choose to grow, we are serving the person we once were.
- 23:28Speaker 2: We're being that person that we needed back when right.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And so many of us are looking for the answer.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Looking for the answer when really the Lord wants to come in and use you and refine you, to be that for yourself.
- 23:41Speaker 2: But it's not you by yourself, it's him with you.
- 23:44Speaker 2: That's why they call it the living word.
- 23:45Speaker 2: So when you jump into scripture, there's going to be things you maybe have read a thousand times, but then it comes out and you're like I've never seen that before.
- 23:51Speaker 2: It's such a beautiful part of how that works and how God designed it.
- 23:55Speaker 2: But I love that because so many times we're looking for the person.
- 23:59Speaker 2: When it's, let's look inside ourselves, partner with him and be like okay, what do I need to heal, what do I need to reveal in order for me to go to this next level?
- 24:08Speaker 2: And that's why people will spend thousands, tens of thousands of dollars paying this other person to try to come in and give them these strategies and fill this void, when they could have gotten there a lot of the times on their own and sometimes not.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Sometimes you do need to hire somebody.
- 24:22Speaker 2: That is all the things for you.
- 24:24Speaker 2: So I'm not saying like coaches are out of the out of the, you shouldn't hire them, because I definitely know there's a time and a place.
- 24:30Speaker 2: But a lot of it can be mitigated by starting looking within and doing that hard work and quit relying on somebody else to do the dirty work with you.
- 24:38Speaker 2: You got to get in your own dirt and you got to pull yourself out first.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So I see you on on reels and you're doing something that I used to be real passionate about, although I don't think I was up that early.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You get up very early and just really do some warfare and praying in the spirit and before you go for your workout.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I just curious what inspired that?
- 24:59Speaker 1: Because you've got to be inspired by God to get up at two or three am or maybe when your news days you did have to get up that early.
- 25:06Speaker 1: But is that I'm maybe prying in a private place?
- 25:09Speaker 1: But what inspired you?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Because I think you move mountains in the morning when you do that.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I definitely pry away because it's like I never knew anybody to get up at these crazy hours.
- 25:20Speaker 2: But it's one of those things where I kept I kept getting up and working out in the morning and then I was like, okay, you know, lord, I'll spend some time with you.
- 25:26Speaker 2: And I never did.
- 25:27Speaker 2: I always was like rushing into my day and then I'm like, okay, we can't keep doing that, because it's the definition of insanity wanting something different, having, you know, the same results.
- 25:36Speaker 2: So then I I eventually started waking up at six.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Six turned into five, five turned into four, four turned into three, and one of my favorite motivational speakers is Eric Thomas.
- 25:47Speaker 2: He gets up at three, talks about it all the time, and I was like, all right, now I'm at three o'clock hour.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I don't remember how three turned into two am, but it did.
- 25:55Speaker 2: It was basically like I just wanted more time with the Lord, but I wanted to get my work in at a certain time, so I just had to keep getting up earlier.
- 26:01Speaker 2: So the number one question I get is when you go to bed and I'm in bed no later than eight o'clock, get up at two.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I have a solid six hours of sleep works for me, but that way I can war in the spirit and work on my spirit, my mind to start, then my body.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Then I'm really set, ready for the day because, being a what I get to do inside GPA Just the people I get to meet, the things that we come across every day I have already done hard things before I even jump in my work day and I don't even like call it works.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I love talking to people and help them create freedom, but it's like I've already done hard things.
- 26:35Speaker 2: So no matter what comes my way, I'm already prepped mentally and physically.
- 26:38Speaker 2: And a lot of people don't even get either of those in and they wonder why I like they get tossed around like the wind and the waves is because you're not preparing yourself.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Especially during the night hours from midnight to 3 am Is when the darkness is.
- 26:51Speaker 2: When I say the darkness, of course it's physically dark, but even just spiritually they're running loose and a lot of people get night terrors and all of that in that at the 3 am Hour.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Well, I've been posting here prayers that you can pray at that hour in that time block, because you're not supposed to get up and scroll or just be like, oh wow, that was bad.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Get up and do something about it, because there's a reason why you just had that and dig deeper.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Dreams aren't just there because you close your eyes and it's something that just magically appears.
- 27:19Speaker 2: There's something that's actually speaking to you, to assess where your adorates trying to tell you something.
- 27:24Speaker 2: So, anyways, I thought it took me a long time to get to that point, but prioritizing my relationship with the Lord first, no matter what, is now not negotiable, where I've tested it out.
- 27:36Speaker 2: If I don't do it, my day is not nearly as good.
- 27:39Speaker 2: So it's not.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I mean, I used to have to help my husband with overnight shifts where he was spread out thin and I'd have to manage the nights on the overnight shift, and there is definitely is something that goes on at night.
- 27:51Speaker 1: And I'll also say I started as early as college where I'd get up at 4, 30 or 5 because I had to have that relationship.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I had to have that time.
- 28:00Speaker 1: It wasn't a religious, it wasn't agenda.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Even now, after I lost my husband, I feel like I have to have two hours.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It's like, okay, I got to be somewhere at 7.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Okay, I know a time I got to get up and I feel like I'm released to that to a certain extent, but I had to have two hours.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Worship, music, the word of God that's what I want to bring to this point.
- 28:17Speaker 1: We are with girl power alliance, molly's the co-founder, and I heard the most beautiful thing said last Friday from the the other founder, michelle Schaefer, that I just want to show you the heart behind this.
- 28:29Speaker 1: She said we want you to spend time with God because we know from God's you're gonna get the witty ideas on how to share this.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I was like that is so refreshing.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever worked somewhere where they're saying you need more time with God because I don't know how pouring you're gonna get the witty ideas and the things to say.
- 28:49Speaker 1: So, girl power alliance, why don't you give us a Five-minute rundown, or three-minute, or you probably could do it in two minutes, I think Watching or listening live or recorded, and they're like, yeah, I've heard Teresa talk about it, or she kind of barely mentions it, but is it for real, getting paid to help other women grow?
- 29:09Speaker 1: Give me a break.
- 29:10Speaker 1: That's the negative.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Take it away, molly.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Well, let's spin that into a positive.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you want to do that?
- 29:17Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you want to work on yourself?
- 29:18Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you want to help other people grow and leverage everything of all the experts that we have in here?
- 29:24Speaker 2: Clearly, you can tell by this point that we're obsessed with Jesus, and that is our Christian companies, the foundation, but we welcome everyone in love them where they are.
- 29:32Speaker 2: You come in.
- 29:33Speaker 2: There's personal professional development resources in the form of On-demand courses, live mentorship and training calls, certification programs like our radiant leadership Academy and speaker Academy that we've talked about here today a little bit, and you get to leverage that and it's not gonna break the bank.
- 29:48Speaker 2: It's not gonna cost you thousands or tens of thousands of dollars.
- 29:51Speaker 2: On top of that, when we love something, we want to share it.
- 29:54Speaker 2: You can share this, help other women get involved and then you get paid for that.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Yeah, we share these all the time.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Our favorite restaurant, favorite pair of shoes, favorite hair products, favorite.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Every time I do my hair like this or like how did you do it?
- 30:06Speaker 2: And I probably sell.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I don't even.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I don't even sell it, I'm just like here's the link for the one that I use.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Like every time you just when you embody something and people like it, they want to know.
- 30:15Speaker 2: So why wouldn't you want to create freedom for other people?
- 30:18Speaker 2: Open up that door that can walk in and it's the same for you.
- 30:22Speaker 2: You get a great financial freedom for yourself, which is going to bless your family first and foremost, your first ministry and all of those big ideas that God's gonna give you when you spend time in his presence.
- 30:33Speaker 2: A lot of people, and I'll make this sure, but I feel like this is such a good point.
- 30:36Speaker 2: When it comes for women, one of the things we love doing here is helping women turn their dreamers on, and I remember being at a table over a year ago and I was sitting around this table of women and they were talking about you know what's a holiday tradition, and during the holidays, my husband and I we live in Southern California we like to go into the Newport Beach Harbor and take this ferry to look at the Christmas lights, because it beats being in traffic Of everybody in their cars, okay, but these are homes that are like minimally 15 to like 40 million dollars, with a big yacht parked outside like big.
- 31:05Speaker 2: So we get on Zillow, we look up the prize oh, this is crazy.
- 31:08Speaker 2: We look it up and we're like, okay, lord, like where, how did these people get there?
- 31:13Speaker 2: Like, because my husband and I we definitely have a wealth calling on our life.
- 31:17Speaker 2: We are huge givers, big investors, all the things.
- 31:20Speaker 2: So we love pushing the boundaries, of looking at other people not in comparison but how did you get there and start trying to reverse in the near?
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I brought this up at a table and I remember a mom who has two kids, one being a newborn, one being a toddler being like.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I don't remember the last time I even thought about any kind of dream.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Her dreamers been off off, and that hit me so hard of like.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Life will come around and we are in different seasons and it might beat you up a little bit, but those dreams that are in our hearts aren't supposed to be so stuffed down, so much that the light is off and it's not ever coming back on.
- 31:54Speaker 2: So your environment matters, your time with the Lord matters, being around people who are going to elevate you, to pull those dreams out, and here's a solution to get there.
- 32:02Speaker 2: That matters and so many people are like, but then they live in just complete turmoil and just it's, it's chaos.
- 32:10Speaker 2: So, even though we can't control things around us, we can control where we spend our time, who we listen to and what we focus on, and that oh, so, so important.
- 32:19Speaker 2: So here at GPA, we are so focused on women pouring into themselves first right Overflow.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Everybody gets the benefit and everybody needs an income stream right now, like we're one of the leading movements of the a billion dollar industry called the on-demand learning industry, where you can plug in and Learn right away and you get a leverage experts, and so you're not doing all the things, you're not putting on the horses and the emails and all that stuff.
- 32:44Speaker 2: From a business perspective, the overhead is.
- 32:46Speaker 2: From an impact perspective, it's massive, and we have one in over 16 different countries at this point that are here locked and loaded, ready to just run with this thing, and very much so a lot of them are.
- 32:59Speaker 2: So it's just one of those things where getting the right environment get around people who are gonna challenge and help you grow and that are also gonna pray and implore into you.
- 33:07Speaker 2: No, competition in the kingdom is something we live by here, because just because you're good at something doesn't mean I can't be good at things too.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Bravo for you, bravo for me, bravo for everybody else.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Now let's grow together, because we can go faster together than we could by ourselves.
- 33:22Speaker 1: That's so good.
- 33:23Speaker 1: If you're jumping out of your seat wanting to oh, this sounds good, Just check the show links and we'll give you a chance to get an intro into that.
- 33:30Speaker 1: And Molly's also one of the people that we're gonna schedule a three-way call.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I know when I was, I had to end my kingdom mentor academy as my husband was struggling with cancer, but it was so fun to bring a few former members and I kept saying, guys, this is like on steroids, it's not me, it's all the other people.
- 33:48Speaker 1: That got me pretty excited and I don't have to worry about all those things.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I just get to share it.
- 33:52Speaker 1: So I, if I'm serious, if you're listening and you really, that just really is hitting your button.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Please check the links, show links on this particular episode, because that is my heart.
- 34:03Speaker 1: You know you cut Molly open.
- 34:05Speaker 1: She's gonna bleed love for Jesus and love for you and love to help people, and that's the kind of people.
- 34:11Speaker 1: When I first got in I didn't know that there were that many Christian women that were good at business.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I had our kingdom women too, because I'm really for the kingdom, not any poverty mindset.
- 34:21Speaker 1: So, Michelle, we are gonna be Michelle Tufford and I called you Michelle Molly, Michelle Tufford and I are gonna be sharing some more at seven, a little more personal and over a cup of coffee, and kind of explain it anymore.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I think you can talk to someone beside us.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I don't know about this Now.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Obviously this podcast might be later, but those watching live, what would you say to encourage someone to even get a bigger look at it?
- 34:49Speaker 2: I would say I mean, why not?
- 34:50Speaker 2: First of all, do you have three to five minutes?
- 34:53Speaker 2: We'll show you what this is all about.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Why not?
- 34:55Speaker 2: And my encouragement to you is don't let your past experiences dictate where your future is gonna go.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Very good.
- 35:01Speaker 2: A lot of people are like oh, I've heard these kind of things before, blah, blah, blah.
- 35:04Speaker 2: This isn't the same.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I promise you that People are not the same.
- 35:07Speaker 2: The leadership here is different.
- 35:09Speaker 2: This is what women and people in the world are needing right now, so much so that we're gonna be opening up a men's division in January 2024, because they're wanting it too.
- 35:18Speaker 2: It's something that is needed.
- 35:20Speaker 2: So, if you are needing an extra stream of income, if you are needing growth in your life, if you're needing a community of people that you align with, that would rally around and pour into you, and, of course, if you, love the Lord, like all of those, are maybe even one of those Come in here and take a look.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Yeah, come in here and take a look.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Stop wasting your time trying to find all these other perfect things.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Nothing's ever gonna be perfect, but I promise you with how fast this thing is growing and moving, because it's a right now thing.
- 35:46Speaker 2: It's never been a more perfect time to come, take a look and to lock arms with leaders like Teresa she's talking about one of her mentors Michelle Tupperd, who's one of our founding ambassadors here that is just absolutely incredible.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Michelle Schaffer, which was on your show and she's the CEO and founder.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Without her saying yes, none of us would be here building this thing and building basically this boat that is going to save people and going to give them hopes and dreams again, bring them back to life.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I should say they're always in there.
- 36:14Speaker 2: It's just pulling them back out.
- 36:15Speaker 2: So why not take a minute, cause you're gonna scroll on social media anyways and find something that doesn't serve you.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So stop all that.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Come take a look.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And it's not like you gotta have 120 products in your garage.
- 36:27Speaker 1: It's actually, it's just in your heart how you, if you really love and you wanna be trained and you really love seeing people, seeing women go to the next level, or just being a part of that.
- 36:37Speaker 1: I think I'll just confess after the I was in since February so but I had to go through some of my own RSA, I had to go through my own stuff and I chose one-on-one.
- 36:51Speaker 1: So I'm gonna admit this.
- 36:54Speaker 1: At the speaker academy I thought I'm just gonna step back.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I just don't know.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Oh my God, I took one look at someone like Molly, someone like Michelle up on that stage and I knew in my core and the core of my heart I must cry thinking about it.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Those are the people I wanna be aligned with.
- 37:11Speaker 1: They are carrying the torch to what is my vision of helping women.
- 37:16Speaker 1: I'm not Molly, I'm not Michelle, but I sure the heck wanna be aligned with people like this.
- 37:22Speaker 1: That's what I'm sharing from my heart if anyone's listening, live or recorded.
- 37:28Speaker 1: There is a time when you need to find your people, because it's hard to find your people on social media.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Brandon, I found some of the best friends on social media, but it's hard to find people that will stick with you and they'll celebrate you and not just tolerate you.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I will say this another confession, although I did have some therapy on it.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I thought finding your people was a myth, molly, until I went to radio speaker and activate.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I'm like, oh okay, you can find your people.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Might be a little different.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I mean, they're not next door, but they sure are next line.
- 38:03Speaker 1: So I think that could draw someone in just saying, hey, I really would like to find my people, cause I get that all the time on comments from on Facebook to Instagram.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I just don't know.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I'm just so alone.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I need to find my tribe, I need to find my people.
- 38:21Speaker 1: So thank you, molly, for just being that beacon for me to see up on stage and saying, huh, no, wait a minute, these are the people I wanna follow.
- 38:29Speaker 1: They've gone before me, literally.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Molly's gone before I said.
- 38:33Speaker 1: 2 am plowing through some stuff so that we can enter into this environment and truly find our voice again and be able to speak and find healing so we can serve the person we once were.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I think that's the whole purpose, molly, of our voices and being able, yes, to proclaim the goodness of God, proclaim his glory.
- 38:54Speaker 1: But as we do that, we shift atmospheres.
- 38:57Speaker 1: It's not us, it's him and in us.
- 39:00Speaker 1: But I think he loves to use our voices Because, look, he created the world by saying let there.
- 39:06Speaker 1: So I think this is someone.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I just really encourage you and I know Molly will too to find your voice, and this might be the vehicle for you to find your voice.
- 39:16Speaker 1: So, molly, thank you so much.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Any final thoughts you'd?
- 39:19Speaker 2: like to add no, I just appreciate you having me on and just being able to be that beacon.
- 39:23Speaker 2: And one of the things that you mentioned is, even though there's founders of this company that helped get it started, our name isn't up there.
- 39:30Speaker 2: It's not our name that gets the glory, it's God that gets the glory.
- 39:33Speaker 2: But the girl power alliance is.
- 39:35Speaker 2: The girl stands for childlike faith.
- 39:37Speaker 2: The power is the power of the, you know, partnering with the Lord, and then the alliance is all of us, so all of us build this.
- 39:44Speaker 2: It's not just who people founded, and that's a big difference between you know.
- 39:48Speaker 2: What most people want to build is they want to get the glory, but here it's about all of us coming together and God gets the glory.
- 39:54Speaker 2: So there is a space, there is a home here for you, and so many women are finding that, and it could be yours too.
- 40:00Speaker 2: So I'm excited to be able to meet you, teresa.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Thank you so much for opening up this door for people just to be able to find out about what God is doing, and thank you for you using your voice and your obedience.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Thank you Well.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Thank you for listening to the Kingdom Mentor podcast.
- 40:14Speaker 1: I always appreciate it.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Hey, do us a favor, share it with a friend who maybe needs some help, or write a review.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Either way, it helps us spread this message, father and further.
- 40:25Speaker 1: So thank you so much.
- 40:26Speaker 1: I'll talk to you in the next episode.
